Hi everyone, it's Jen Psaki. We spent a lot of time talking about the Trump presidency on my show, the Briefing, and we should. But because of the complete insanity of this administration, there never feels like there is enough space for a conversation about the future of the party that is out of power and how they are planning to win again. The second season of my podcast, the Blueprint is a place for that conversation. No matter where you fall. It's pretty clear the Democratic Party's at a crossroads. Younger voices are challenging older ones for leadership positions and for elected office. There are important debates right now about what fights to take on, what policies to advocate for, whether litmus tests are powerful or holding the party back, and how candidates should be campaigning to actually reach voters. This season, I'm joined at the top of each episode by my longtime friend and completely unfiltered Democratic strategist Liz Smith. We'll dive into all of it. I'll also sit down with party leaders and rising stars who are shaping the future of the Democratic Party. People like Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, Texas Congressman Greg Kazar, who is also chair of the Progressive Caucus, and Congresswoman Sarah McBride, the first openly trans person elected to Congress. Also the hilariously witty hosts of the hit podcast I've had, Jennifer Welch and Angie Pump Sullivan, among others. We'll ask the big questions, we'll debate, we'll disagree. That's healthy. And we will try to get to the bottom of how Democrats can win again. Join me for season two of the Blueprint. The first two episodes drop Wednesday, October 15th. Subscribe to MSNBC Premium on Apple Podcasts for ad free listening to each episode.
