A ceasefire has been reached between Israel and Hezbollah terrorists. President Biden announced the end of the fighting from the Rose Garden. It will go into effect at 9am on the east coast and it will finally bring an to the 14 months of fighting since the October 7 attack on civilians in Israel. Israel's President Benjamin Netanyahu said there were three reasons for the 1 the need to address the Iranian threat 2 to give Israeli forces a chance to regroup and 3 to create separation between Hamas and the Northern Front. The two month ceasefire requires Hezbollah to move its forces about 20 miles north of the Israeli border, while some Israeli forces must withdraw from southern Lebanon. A five country committee led by the US and including France will oversee compliance with the deal.

Donald Trump's team is planning to reverse President Biden's student debt forgiveness programs. Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has more on the plan.
Tim Pierce
The Trump administration is expected to target Biden era initiatives that left U.S. taxpayers on the hook for student loans. Biden's save repayment plan and mass loan cancellation will be targeted. These programs were challenged by attorneys general in several states, claiming they are illegal and unfair to those who paid their loans off as promised for those who did not attend college. Trump transition officials acknowledged the challenges ahead as millions of borrowers remain in limbo under current policies. Trump's education secretary nominee Linda McMahon plans to implement alternative repayment options to stabilize the federal loan system.

A Missouri judge upheld a law banning doctors from performing transgender procedures on minors, ruling the state's SAFE act does not violate the Constitution. Circuit Judge R. Craig Carter emphasized the lack of consensus on the medical ethics of such treatments and cited risks associated with puberty blockers, cross sex, hormones and surgeries. The ruling comes ahead of the U.S. supreme Court case challenging a similar law in Tennessee. Missouri is one of 26 states that have passed laws restricting transgender procedures for children.

Several US Airlines are under fire this week. On Tuesday, a Senate subcommittee criticized the airlines for raking in 12 point billion dollars in seat selection fees between 2018 and 2023. The airlines charged passengers for preferred seats and extra legroom. UN United Airlines alone earned $1.3 billion from the seating fees in 2023 for the first time surpassing revenue earned from checked baggage fees. Lawmakers want to hear from the airline executives about what they call junk fees. Budget carriers Spirit and Frontier were also singled out for paying agents to enforce bag policies, often forcing passengers to pay as much as $75 to check a bag they deem too large to qualify as a carry on. Testimony from the airlines is scheduled for December 4th.

Donald Trump's legal team has launched an internal investigation into claims that one of his advisers was requesting payments from potential cabinet nominees. Daily Wire deputy managing editor Tim Rice has the story.
Tim Rice
According to reporting from cnn, the Trump legal team conducted an investigation into longtime adviser Boris Epshtein. Sources say Epshtein sought financial gain by leveraging his influence with the president elect. Epshtein allegedly requested payments, in some cases as much as $100,000 per month in exchange for promoting individuals or arranging introductions with Trump transition team. The internal probe recommended distancing Epstein from Trump. Tensions reportedly escalated between Epstein and key figures, including Elon Musk, during recent meetings at Mar A Lago. Epstein denies the allegations, calling them false and defamatory.

Donald Trump Jr suggests that the White House press briefing room could be reshuffled. Daily Wire senior editor Cabot Phillips has more.
Donald Trump Jr.
In a new episode of his podcast, Triggered, Don Jr. Told the Daily Wire's Michael Knowles that the White House briefing room may include some new faces during his father's second term. The briefing room could be reshuffled to give podcasters like Joe Rogan a seat at the table. Trump confirmed that he had a discussion with the president elect and that his father may consider replacing legacy outlets with independent journalists and podcasters who have larger followings. Here's a bit of that conversation.
Michael Knowles
We were talking about, like the podcast world and some of our friends and Rogan and guys like you and you know me to a lesser extent. We had the conversation about opening up the press room to a lot of these independent journalists. Like why not open it up to people who have larger viewerships, stronger followings? So that may be in the works. Let's see. That's going to blow up some heads. So you know, we'll see.
