will allow pancreatic cancer patients to access a promising new drug before it's received full approval. On Friday, the agency said that patients with severe and terminal diagnoses may be able to take diroxanrazib, a once a day pill that blocks the signal for cancer cells to grow. The drug maker, Revolution Medicine, says that the bill has allowed terminal patients to survive an average of 13 months, compared to just six months for those on chemo. Former Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse, who was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in December, called it a miracle drug.

more Agents were quick to secure the area around 15th street and Independence Avenue and ushered journalists into the White House press briefing room as a precaution. The U.S. secret Service confirmed there was an officer involved shooting with one person shot by law enforcement, though their condition was not immediately known. The Thermos company, which makes insulated drink containers, is voluntarily recalling more than 8 million of their jars and bottles over safety concerns. Daily Wire lifestyle reporter Lauren Baer has the details.
According to a company disclosure, multiple people have suffered severe eye injuries after leaving food or beverages in a thermos for an extended time, causing fermentation and high pressure to build inside the vessel. When they then attempted to open the vessel, the stopper fully ejected and caused impact injury. The malfunction is the result of some of their products lacking a pressure relief valve. More than 100 travelers are still trapped on a cruise ship after three people on board died from a hantavirus outbreak over the weekend, Daily Wire Homepage editor Jordan Schroeder reports.
Daily Wire Reporter
According to the World Health Organization, several others on board are seriously ill, including two crew members. The WHO is currently coordinating with governments to carefully extract travelers from the ship and repatriate them, while also prioritizing medical treatment to the sick. The cruise ship is currently anchored off the coast of Cape Verde and at least one person has been transported for intensive care in Johannesburg, but the Health Minister of Cape Verde has prohibited the passengers from disembarking into their country. Hantavirus is a rare, deadly virus associated with exposure to rodent droppings. The mortality rate for people who contract hantavirus is between 30 to 60%, so early medical intervention is critical.

the state of Colorado is at it again, trying to silence free speech A law in Colorado forces businesses to use customers preferred pronouns even if they're biologically inaccurate and even if using those incorrect pronouns would violate a person's religious beliefs or conscience. That's a violation of free speech. But as Colorado has proven time and again, it has little concern for the First Amendment. Alliance Defending Freedom is challenging the law on behalf of a Christian bookstore and a Colorado based sports apparel company, but a court recently ruled against them with ADF's help. They appealed the ruling and they'll continue fighting to ensure Colorado doesn't get away with this next attempt to skirt the First Amendment.
