Authorities told people to evacuate two libraries at the University of Virginia over a bomb threat this morning, just one day after an ISIS supporting terrorist shot three people, killing one across the state at Old Dominion University. University of Virginia police told people to, quote, avoid the area at Shannon Library on the Charlottesville campus. And the university's Department of Safety and Security later added that authorities were, quote, investigating evacuating both Clemens and Shannon libraries, which are across the street from each other.

Six US Service members are dead after a refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq. The plane went down following a midair incident with another US Aircraft. According to centcom, all six crew members aboard the tanker were killed. The second aircraft landed safely, and officials say there's no indication the crash was caused by hostile or friendly fire. The identities of the fallen are being withheld pending notification of next of kin, and an investigation into the incident is underway.

President Trump teased a massive attack targeting what he called the deranged scumbags in Iran today, as Pentagon officials promised the most intense day of strike since the operation began. In a truth social post, Trump said, quote, iran's Navy is gone. Their air force is no longer. Missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated and their leaders have been wiped out from the face of the earth. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth confirmed at a press briefing this morning that the US Would carry out its most intense day of strikes so far.

We've learned more details about the man who targeted Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan yesterday, including that he was a Lebanese national who became naturalized in 2016 under Obama. Daily Wire reporter Zach Jewell has the details. The Department of Homeland Security says the suspect was born in Lebanon in 1985 and first entered the United States in 2011 on an immigrant visa as the spouse of a US citizen after he applied for naturalization in October 2015. He was granted citizenship in February 2016. On Thursday, he drove his car into Temple Israel, the largest Reform Judaism congregation in the United States, and opened fire with a rifle. He was pronounced dead at the scene after the synagogue security engaged him with gunfire. One security guard was injured as a result of being struck by the attacker's vehicle but is in stable condition.

Lt. Col. Brandon Shaw has been identified as the instructor who was fatally shot by an ISIS supporting terrorist at the university on Thursday. Shaw was a decorated military hero who served the U.S. in major war zones including Iraq and Afghanistan. He enlisted in the army in 2003 as an aviation operations specialist and later obtained the rank of sergeant. He served in the active duty Army, Army Reserve and Virginia Army National Guard. He also deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and rotation to Atlantic Resolve since his Old Dominion commissioning. He earned his Army Aviation Senior Aviator wings after flying more than 1200 hours in three different aircraft and completing over 600 combat flight hours, according to the school. In an interview with local News, a friend of Shaw's described him as, quote, a charmer and an all around student. Virginia governor Abigail Spanberger also paid tribute, calling Shah a devoted ROTC instructor who, quote, taught and led others about the importance of serving our country.

Since President Trump returned to office, more than 18,000 habeas petitions have reportedly been filed by detainees challenging their ICE detention. That's more than the total filed under the last three administrations combined. The petitions move cases from immigration courts into federal district courts, where judges are largely ordering illegal immigrants to be released on bond. Federal prosecutors in border states say the spike has strained resources, forcing criminal attorneys to shift civil immigration cases. Immigration attorneys say the strategy has been effective in securing releases, buying clients more time in the United States as the underlying deportation cases move forward. This new strategy could put these types of cases on a trajectory that could potentially land before the Supreme Court.

The man who shoved two men, including an 84 year old veteran, onto subway tracks in New York turned out to be a four time deported illegal immigrant. Authorities say 34 year old Baron Posada Hernandez of Honduras allegedly pushed the victims in an unprovoked attack inside a Manhattan station. One victim suffered minor injuries while the elderly veteran remains in critical condition. Homeland Security says ICE has lodged a detainer against the suspect. He's currently being held on felony charges as the case is under investigation.

President Trump is throwing his support behind a new Republican contender in Texas. Daily Wire political reporter Cameron Arkand has the details in a Truth Social post. Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell is facing fresh scrutiny over where he actually lives as he runs for governor of California. Swalwell has filed sworn statements saying he's maintained a home in Livermore since 2017, but several neighbors on the quiet cul de sac reclaims residency told reporters they've never seen him. The controversy intensified after a lawsuit questioned whether Swalwell meets California residency requirements for statewide office. Critics argue he has primarily lived in Washington, D.C. while campaign records show frequent hotel stays in and around his district, Swalwell says security concerns keep his address private and maintains he meets all legal requirements.
