Go to dailywireplus.com today anti ice riots continue to spread. President Trump expresses disappointment in Iran's nuclear negotiations and an ex girlfriend of Sean Diddy Combs testifies against the disgraced hip hop mogul. I'm Daily Wire Exec Executive Editor John Bickley. It's Tuesday, June 10th and this is Evening Wire. Following President Trump's mobilization of more National Guard troops to la, Governor Gavin Newsom is seeking to block the troops. Newsom filed an emergency motion to stop the deployment. The total military personnel in the city is nearing 4,700, with several hundred Marines on standby near LA. This comes after days of out of control protests in which demonstrators have set cars on fire, looted stores and assaulted law enforcement. Democrats both in and out of California insist that the protests are largely peaceful, but Trump says the city would have burned to the ground without intervention.
Pete Hegseth
We did a great job. The people, you, Christy and Tom Holman and all of the people, Pete Hexa, all of the people involved did an amazing job. We stopped a disaster and it looks like a planned disaster. Not just this didn't just happen. They had weapons, they had tools, they had everything you needed.

The feds have ID'd a man they say was allegedly seen throwing rocks at law enforcement during Saturday's riots. The FBI says 40 year old Elpidio Reyna of Compton faces up to eight years in prison and remains at large. One officer was injured and various government vehicles damaged after rocks were hurled at them. A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Reyna's arrest. Attorney General Pam Bondi says Reyna will be added to the FBI's most wanted list. As the country watches the events unfolding in Los Angeles, some in Congress are calling for an investigation. Daily Wire Deputy Managing Editor Tim Rice has the details.

California Republican Congressman Darrell Issa has questions about the LAPD's response to Friday's violent anti ice riots. The Department of Homeland Security says it waited to hear back from local police for two hours as over a thousand rioters surrounded a federal building and assaulted ICE agents. While LAPD Chief Jim McDonald disputes that timeline, blaming traffic for a 40 minute delay, DHS stands by its report. Issa, a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, is questioning whether political leaders ordered police to stand down. He says the public deserves to know whether federal officers were intentionally left without support.

Mayor Eric Adams warns agitators to steer clear of New York, speaking alongside NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch on Monday. And Adams said that any LA type destruction would not be tolerated in New York. New York City will always be a.
Pete Hegseth
Place to peacefully protest, but we will not allow violence and lawlessness.
Dr. Jordan B. Peterson
Tish, for her part, emphasized that the NYPD is fully equipped to maintain order without federal help. The remarks came as anti ICE demonstrators staged a protest in Trump Tower demanding the release of detained migrants. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth battled House Democrats today defending the administration's deployment of troops to la. Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce has more. He told the House Appropriations Subcommittee that the move was necessary to protect ICE agents. Hegseth insisted that the U.S. must be able to enforce immigration law and called the attacks on federal officers lawless. Here's the secretary's answer to a question from Minnesota Congresswoman Betty McCollum. McCollum said that history shows that the local law enforcement can handle these types of situations. And as an example, she cited the 2020 riots in Minneapolis over George Floyd.
Betty McCollum
Thank you for the question. You are right, we are both originally from Minnesota, which is why I recall 2020 quite well when Governor Waltz abandoned a police precinct and allowed it to be burned to the ground and also allowed five days of chaos to occur inside the streets of Minneapolis. The police precinct, ma' am, was abandoned and burned to the ground. And because of that, the National Guard was eventually, far too late, mobilized. And President Trump recognizes a situation like that, improperly handled by a governor like it was by Governor Waltz, if it gets out of control, is a bad situation for the citizens of any location.

Is President Trump near the end of his rope with Iran? The president says the dictatorial regime has grown, quote, much more aggressive in the nuclear negotiations. Speaking to Fox News, Trump noted Tehran's shift in tone while senior officials accused Iran of stalling talks and expanding its enrichment.
Pete Hegseth
They're just asking for things that you can't do. They don't want to give up what they have to give up. You know what that is? They seek enrichment. We can't have enrichment. We want just the opposite. And so far they're not there. I hate to say that because the alternative is a very, very dire one, but they're not there.

Meanwhile, centcom's outgoing commander told Congress he's drafted contingency plans in case diplomacy fails. The leaders of Yemen's branch of Al Qaeda are calling for the assassination of President Trump and top U.S. officials. In a propaganda video released over the weekend, the terrorists urged Muslims in the U S to quote, take revenge and to target Trump, J.D. vance, Pete Hegseth and Marco Rubio. The video also incites more violence against Jews. The 20 year old who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump last July showed signs of severe mental decline before the shooting. The New York Times reports that Thomas Crooks talked to imaginary people, danced alone at night and researched the JFK assassination leading up to the attack. His motive remains unclear, though search histories show a growing fixation on Trump. President Trump unveiled a new proposal this week to give every US newborn a $1,000 investment account. The plan is part of his One Big Beautiful bill and would apply to babies born between 2025 and 2028. The tax deferred accounts would track a stock index fund and be accessible at age 18.

Defense attorneys for Sean Diddy Combs cross examined today an ex girlfriend of Combs. The woman testified under the name Jane Doe. Daily Wire reporter Megan Basham has the breakdown.
Megan Basham
She said that Combs coerced her into having sex with male prostitutes while he watched. And then earlier today, a judge denied a second mistrial request from the defense. The defense attorneys based the request on prosecutorial misconduct. They accused the prosecution of knowingly presenting false testimony from a woman who claims Combs dangled her over a 17th floor balcony. Now, the judge ruled the testimony did not prejudice the defense. He said the defense successfully, successfully cross examined the witness and undermined her testimony. The judge called the cross examination a Perry Mason moment. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He could face life in prison if convicted on all counts.

And a judge dismissed Justin Baldoni's lawsuit against Blake Lively. Daily Wire reporter Amanda Presage Giacomo has the latest.
Amanda Presage Giacomo
Beldoni had sued for $400 million, accusing Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of defamation and extortion, and the New York Times of assisting in a smear campaign. Baldoni and Lively co starred in the movie It Ends With Us and their relationship soured during filming. Lively had previously sued Baldoni for onset sexual harassment and retaliation. The judge's ruling said that claims that were brought by Baldoni, which derived from Lively's lawsuit, they did not count as defamation since allegations from lawsuits are generally exempt from libel claims. It also ruled that Lively taking creative control of the film did not count as extortion under California law. Baldoni's legal team says it plans to revise its claims and continue on with the lawsuit.
