After nearly 80 years, the US is pulling out of the World Health organization. Daily Wire D.C. bureau Chief Tim Rice has the latest.
Tim Rice
The move follows an executive order President Trump signed on his first day in office, citing what the administration calls the organization's mishandling of the COVID 19 pandemic, excessive financial demands on the United States, and undue influence from China. Here's HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Explaining the withdrawal.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The WHO has, since its inception, accomplished important work, including the eradication of smallpox. Too often, though, who's priorities have increasingly reflected the biases and interests of corporate medicine.
Donald Trump
Too often, it has allowed political agendas.

Like pushing harmful gender ideology to to hijack its core mission, and too often.
Donald Trump
It has become the tool of politics.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
And turned its back on promoting health and health security.
Tim Rice
Health officials say the United States, which funded up to a quarter of the organization's budget, will no longer support institutions that fail to act transparently or in America's interest. The Trump administration insists the withdrawal does not signal a retreat from global health leadership, pointing instead to new bilateral health partnerships with dozens of other countries. Critics warn the decision could weaken international disease coordination. While the White House says accountability comes.

First, TikTok will remain available to Americans after its parent company reached a deal to restructure ownership of the platform, Daily Wire senior editor Joel Niedler explains.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The agreement ends years of legal and political battles over concerns that the app could be used by China to collect data on Americans. Under the deal, a new US based version of TikTok will be created with with ByteDance retaining a minority stake of just under 20% and international investors owning about 80%. Major partners include Oracle, which will oversee US user data, along with several US and international investment firms. The move follows congressional action to ban TikTok under Chinese ownership, a deadline President Trump delayed to allow negotiations. Federal officials say the deal is designed to protect American data while keeping the popular app online.

President Trump says that his administration is closely watching Iran for signs that it's killing protesters and has sent a big flotilla toward the region just in case. Talking to reporters aboard Air Force One yesterday, the president said he hopes the US Fleet is not necessary, but it's still touch and go.
Donald Trump
Right now we have a big force going toward Iran. I'd rather not see anything happen, but we're watching them very closely. I SAP 837 hangings and I said if you hang those people, you're going to be hit harder than you've ever been hit. It'll make what we did to your Iran nuclear look like peanuts. At an hour before this horrible thing was going to take place, they canceled it. Well, we have a an armada. We have a massive fleet heading in that direction and maybe we won't have to even use it we'll see.
