in the first place.
Marco Rubio
There's no one begging for anything here. The Iranians might be begging because their economy is losing hundreds of millions of dol. I don't know where you're getting this perception that Iran is stronger. Iran has no Navy left. They've lost a substantial percentage of their defense industrial base, and their economy is far worse today, and I mean far worse today than it was six to nine months ago.
Cassia Akiva
The hearing turned especially combative when Senator Jackie Rosen accused Rubio of attending a party with President Trump instead of participating in Iran negotiations in Pakistan with Vice President J.D. vance. Take a listen.
Marco Rubio
What party was I at? I was at a party publicly reported,
John Bickley
and there's photos there.
Marco Rubio
But what party? No, no, no, no. But you're gon. I'm going to answer it. I'm going to answer that. You don't know what you're talking about. Senator Rosen, he has a floor. I know your staff wrote up this cute statement for your TikTok video, but it's not true and it's not real.
Cassia Akiva
Rubio said he was alongside President Trump throughout the negotiations while remaining in constant contact with administration officials handling the talks.

Everyone in my neighborhood has got the same problem. They're all putting cameras and hiring security guards because we're all getting broken into. It's not made up, it's not false. And this city has collapsed in the last five years. There is no denying it unless you have an agenda. And I don't know what that is,
Amanda Harding
Ellen said he has grown to hate the city in the past five years, especially after his house was burglarized in 2023. Ellen's Instagram rant went viral and it spotlighted the discontent among LA's liberals. With the city's current Democratic leadership, Ellen has thrown his support behind Spencer Pratt, the upstart candidate gaining steam ahead of this year's election. Here's Ellen on hot mics with Billy Bush.
Doug Ellen
The amount of real liberal people, and we're talking about people who will fight you if you say you like Donald Trump. Those people are fed up with what's going on in la. I am not a Donald Trump fan. I did not vote for him and I'm not gonna sit here and tell you Spencer Pratt can save la. What I can tell you is the status quo is destroying it and we need to try something different.
