Hello and welcome to this moving meditation with own practice. I'm Dominic and I'll be your guide for this walking experience. So I ask you if you aren't taking this outside to find a space where you won't be interrupted, just a small area that you can kind of pace slowly back and forth. And as we begin to kind of settle in and start our guided walk today. So as you begin to move, let your attention kind of start with noticing each step. There's a lot of ways you can kind of deconstruct this. You can start with just noticing the pace you're taking, feeling each step from heel to toe, noticing the shifting of your weight right to left, really dialing in which foot you're stepping off of when you turn. If you're pacing or if you're walking in an open area, notice the micro adjustments you are making as you move through space. It notice the speed and the pace at which you're walking or moving. Try to find comfortable notice if there's any rushing present. Can you dial that back 5 to 10%? Really allow your attention to be held each precious step it if your mind wandered and slipped into some pattern, thinking about something you have to do later, something you forgot to do before, softly redirect the attention back to each step, one and then the other. It begin to let your attention expand and notice the relationship between the movement of your arms and step. Feeling the weight of the arms, the swing of the arms. Maybe they are held in a more firm and rigid position to minimize movement. But let your attention rest on this relationship between the upper lower half of the body moving through space. It each step is a reminder, a opportunity to appreciate the beauty of movement and your ability to participate. There's almost a reverence and gratitude that you can have each step. Notice as you look forward where your eye gaze is focused. As you feel the body moving through space it feel free to continue your movement, your walk, your steady pacing for as little or as long as you need, allowing your attention to move between stepping and feeling and observing the environment around you. Thank you for taking time today to focus your attention on slowing down and creating space and opportunity for you to recalibrate, to reset and to move forward.
