Out June 19th 2026. Buy here : https://backdoor.bandcamp.com/album/bdr17-plastic-girl With a raw nod to the golden years of Florida breaks, J Taylor returns to Back Door, this time linking up with longtime mate Anglesh for 'Plastic Girl'. A four-track ride backed with a floor-ready remix from Tampa’s own DJ Orange Julius. Built between late nights, independent parties, and years behind local projects, the EP slips between energetic house, sharp breakbeats, chopped samples and restless grooves. Opening cut “Ready” wastes no time — heavy kicks, amen breaks, vocal snippets and straight dancefloor pressure from the jump. “Her Curls” and “I Guess” push deeper into warped mashups and fast-moving rhythms, pulling familiar fragments apart and stitching them back together at full speed. Closing things out, DJ OJ flips the final cut into a bass-heavy roller driven by his signature low-end touch — no giant kick needed, just pure movement. Plastic Girl feels like a collision point for this Florida connection: sweaty, playful and constantly in motion, loaded with broken rhythms and late-night energy from start to finish. Brianna Paon, the New England based underground dance music DJ, producer, and DIY party starter announces the release of her latest EP, Nerve Ending, available now on digital platforms via San Francisco-based Vitamin1000 Recordings. Nerve Ending is a tense, club-focused four-tracker, leaning into stripped, hypnotic techno structures, while draped in outer-worldly accents; mechanical yet human. According to the artist, “Nerve Ending represents endurance, growth and sheer will power… this exertion is meant to be felt and channeled, whether introspectively, or on the dance floor, unapologetically.” The project includes standout cuts such as “Dirt Devil”, a grinding, frenzied peak-time offering fabricated with swirling, abrasive textures over a tech house laced low-end groove and the title track “Nerve Ending” introducing the EP with its most confrontational moment, rhythmically insistent broken techno cut with a metallic edge. Out June 11th 2026. Buy here : https://retrofuturediscoclub.bandcamp.com/album/rfdc-003-big-miz-i-need-u-e-p RFDC reaches its third release with a statement that perfectly reflects the label's musical identity. Since its beginnings in Barcelona, Retro Future Disco Club has been building a community around house music in all its forms, connecting soul, disco, acid and contemporary club culture through a shared love of groove. For RFDC 003, the label welcomes Glasgow's own Big Miz, a producer and DJ whose catalogue has become a fixture in modern underground house music. Across three original cuts and a remix from Breezy S, the EP captures the different shades of the sound that inspires the collective. "I Need U" opens with an uplifting, bouncy energy driven by bright keys, infectious rhythms and an unmistakable sense of movement. "Acid Roller" shifts into a more playful territory, riding a fast-moving acid line that balances euphoria and dancefloor momentum. On "Die Yuppie Scum", the mood turns deeper and more underground, embracing a rawer acid aesthetic while retaining the warmth and musicality that runs throughout the release. Closing the package, Breezy S reinterprets "Acid Roller" through his own club-focused lens, stretching the groove into a longer and more hypnotic journey. House, disco and acid have always shared the same DNA. On RFDC 003, Big Miz brings them together with the confidence of a seasoned artist whose sound feels equally at home in Glasgow, Amsterdam, Berlin or Barcelona. For RFDC, it is both a pleasure and an honour to welcome one of contemporary house music's most distinctive voices to the family. Buy here : https://secretbisous.bandcamp.com/album/terra-sigillata Populous and his newly launched label Latinambient are proud to present “Terra Sigillata”, the debut EP by Secret Bisous, featuring five tracks produced between Barcelona and Paris. The EP blends sharp dembow rhythms with ethereal synth pads shaped by long reverbs, while pitch-shifted vocals and supersaws introduce a darker timbre, building a sense of cosmic energy and emotional tension. The EP’s visual dimension is rooted in the artist’s sculptural works, where abstract organic forms and black-and-white glazes evoke alien, otherworldly presences. Within the artist’s process, music and sculpture exist in continuous dialogue, with the physical works acting as tangible extensions of the sonic universe. Out May 29th 2026. Buy here : https://phutureshockmusik.bandcamp.com/album/coquito Taking charge of the first solo release of 2026 on Phuture Shock Musik is iconic Detroit producer John Beltran, serving up an exquisite double shot of summery, percussion-laced jams entitled - ‘Coquito’ b/w ‘Piragua’ - both of which are rooted in deep house, Afro-Latin and hip hop influences. Having risen to prominence back in the early 90’s with his debut release (‘Aquatic’) on Carl Craig’s seminal Retroactive imprint, Beltran has spent the last thirty-plus years, via multiple guises, crafting and exploring everything from techno, ambient and IDM to D&B, Latin jazz fusion and balearic downtempo. Noted for his melodic and emotive-rich signature style, his prolific and incredibly diverse output remains to be of a consistent quality, and has featured among the esteemed catalogues of Delsin, Peacefrog, R&S, Ubiquity, and Good Looking records, to name just a few. Here the Michigan native shores up on Phuture Shock, helming the eleventh missive in the Bristol label’s ‘DUBZ’ series, with two masterfully-crafted productions that exemplify his highly versatile approach to creativity. Leaning towards familiar Balearic territory and sun-splashed with global influences, Beltran’s latest effort is built for dancefloor settings and headphone listening alike, whilst also keeping with the genre-bending spirit of both artist and label. Side A of the record hosts the cowbell-laden rhythms of ‘Coquito’, a breezy slab of Detroit house beaming with soulful warmth and feel-good vibes; combining flickering keys, dubby low end and warm lingering synths, over lively percussive patterns and 4/4 kicks with a carefree bop that’ll transport you straight to the balmy heights of summer. On the flipside is the summer night bliss of ‘Piragua’, an altogether downtempo affair with a sprinkling of Afro-Latin meets West coast flavours, where samba-tinged percussion shuffles beside low-slung hip hop beats, complete with jazzy piano chords, emotive strings and atmospheric ocean waves, evoking a smooth mix of Brazilian saudade feels, balearic relaxation and Motor City swagger. Out May 19th 2026. Buy here : https://bikinibody.bandcamp.com/album/weirdest-party-ep Paradise Palms Records announce a new release from Bikini Body, your favourite DJ’s favourite punk band. Following two records on Optimo Music, whose early support helped shape both their trajectory and their hybrid sound, the band return with a set that pushes further into the space between dance-floor pressure and punk confrontation. Across these tracks Percussive, driving and physical, but always wired with attitude. The remixes open things out for club systems while keeping the band’s raw edge intact. Drawing on ESG, Liquid Liquid, Warmduscher and Squid, their sound pairs tight, propulsive grooves with a vocal style that owes as much to The Slits, Bush Tetras and X-Ray Spex as it does to any contemporary scene. It’s music that feels equally at home in a sweatbox basement or on a packed dance-floor. Recent activity cements that crossover: a 13-date UK co-headline tour ending in a sold-out London show, a packed Windmill Brixton headline, key festival slots, and airplay across BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, KEXP and NTS. Conceived as a time-based operation, the project moves between memory and projection, reactivating past structures in a forward, anticipatory mode. The tracklist is inscribed as time codes, each one indexing a separate temporal trajectory. The core of the project relies on a reduced setup: Jomox Alphabase, a single synthesizer per track, and a one-take recording approach, capturing a specific moment in time. Post-editing is kept minimal to preserve its raw, live character. Across the EP, transformation unfolds through shifts in perception, dissolving any stable sense of reality. Temporal drift replaces fixed structure. The sonic language focuses on raw drum architecture, low-end pressure, and submerged textures. Out May 02nd 2026. Buy here : https://thrustrecordings.bandcamp.com Lee Coombs & Tara Brooks - Tell Me is out on May 2nd, 2026. The title track sits in a familiar peak-time House lane, but there’s more going on in the details than a straight functional tool. Its central groove is direct and propulsive, though the track’s old-school Techno-soul edge stops it from feeling too clean or too linear. There’s a roughness to the movement that gives it some weight, with enough swing and pressure to hold attention without overplaying its hand. Lee Coombs’ two remixes take the same material in more specific directions. The Acid Mix strips things back into a darker, more dubbed-out framework, leaning into repetition, space and low-end tension rather than immediate release. It’s the version most clearly aimed at later hours, where atmosphere does as much work as momentum. The Classic Mix turns toward late-'80s warehouse house, pulling out a looser, more open kind of energy. It gestures toward that period’s rawness and uplift without sounding overly referential. Across the three versions, Tell Me sketches out a small but useful range: peak-time drive, heads-down pressure and a more classic warehouse swing. It’s a concise package, but one that covers enough ground to give DJs a few different ways into the same idea. The answer is provided by 24-year-old music producer, media-artist and filmmaker Noayama - who is currently based in Vienna - with his compact 5-track EP “Caravanist's Shattered Dreams”. Rap artists Deem Spencer (Queens, New York) and NAPPYNAPPA (Washington, D.C.) accentuate “that certain feeling” that pervades the entire EP in very different ways with their features. On “Don't Had To Know” and “BBQ RAVE”, they oscillate between lo-fi aesthetics, introspective lyrics, experimental rap and distorted fragments of speech.
