The Multidimensional Mindfulness Experience Theory (MDME) is a perspective on the multiple layers of mindfulness, with time, space, and culture as the main indicators of the mindfulness experience. All three factors of mindfulness interact with one another when we recognize that each has three characteristics: internal, external, and balanced experiences. The discovery of this relation derives from the theories of Western and Eastern mindfulness philosophies.
