I've created another module of 28 meditations to prepare you for the NCE. They're available on Patreon and I want to introduce you to them today. So this 28 day meditation series is designed to prepare you for the National Counselor Examination in a way that is both effective and deeply calming. Each session blends counseling content review with gentle imagery based meditation supported by Theta State Audio techniques that promote memory retention, focus and deep relaxation. Across the modules, you'll journey through the full scope of the NCE material. So put on some headphones, get comfortable and here's a little bit about how this works. Alright, are you ready? Two, three. Let's begin. Welcome to the 28 Day Nervous System Reset. I created this podcast for my own practice and I share it with you. This is a podcast designed with sound to soothe, to slow, to settle the nervous system. Maybe you feel there is no time for this. Or maybe you remember when you used to feel there wasn't time to sit still. Yet when you pause, when you breathe, you discover how good it feels to give yourself this gift. And maybe you can feel that right now by breathing in and breathing out. Maybe your shoulders soften. There's no wrong way to experience this. We live in a world of constant clamor, deadlines, devices, demands. Over time, the body hums in overdrive. This series is an invitation to interrupt that hum, to let sound carry you into a calmer rhythm. You are in control. You are always in charge. If something doesn't feel right, pause, skip or stop. Some people sit, others lie down. Some drift toward dreams. What feels right for you is right for you. The only caution? Don't listen longer driving or doing anything that requires full attention. Think of this as a way of befriending your nervous system. Whatever you feel, calm or restless, focused or distracted, comfortable or uncomfortable, it is simply your body doing its best to find balance. That's what it is evolved to do. Headphones are required. Without them, you'll only hear watery wobbles. With headphones, your brain hears 174 hertz in one ear, 180 in the other. That creates a third rhythm. Six hertz. The theta state. Theta is twilight, the space between waking and sleeping. Perhaps you felt it just before dreaming. When thoughts loosen when thoughts loosen and images float, float, float. Research shows theta range binaural beats may support relaxation, sleep, memory and emotional regulation. You don't need to take my word. Notice what happens in your own life over time. You may also hear my words move from left to right and back again, back and forth like waves. Another layer, another layer. Softer, softer. May move at different speeds. Sometimes. Sometimes they reflect. Following both streams at once can sharpen focus like a lens bringing blurred images clear. This capacity may spill into daily life where chaos becomes coherence and confusion clarity. This podcast is a 28 day journey. I created it for clients who wanted daily practice expanding gradually 28 days the length often needed to build build a new habit. Beyond the steady binaural home, you'll hear layers of tonal home textures and subtle effects. This is not only meditation, it is sound art. A shifting sculpture of tone like a kaleidoscope of patterns, like a Rorschach inkblot of musical notes. You may notice thoughts stretching like taffy. Think of these tones as echoes of unconscious processes, the rhythms of your neurons, the quiet symphony of cellular communication. Beneath awareness, patterns play. As you hear them, you may imagine your body remembering how to tune, to heal, to hum and balance again. I'm not asking you to believe my words, but to notice your own. This is where the real reset begins. Each day will be different. Sometimes calm comes quickly, other days the mind resists. Both are welcome. The nervous system learns in spirals, circling, returning, resetting. Trust your own pace. Trust your own process. And now notice your breath again. Feel the weight of your body, supported and safe. You've gone deeper. Gently, gradually bringing awareness back to the room. Because you're not broken, just rewiring.
