Chakras as Gateways to Other Dimensions with Richard Jelusich

Richard Jelusich, PhD, is chairman of the board of trustees of the California Institute for Human Science, and also a lead faculty member. He is an ordained minister and has an active practice in subtle energy medicine/energy psychology and spiritual counseling. He is the author of Eye of the Lotus: Psychology of the Chakras and I Can Relate: How We Intuitively Choose the People in Our Lives. He is the founder of Light News Institute and Integrative Chakra Therapy® (ICT), an energy medicine/energy psychology school for practitioners. His website is https://lightnews.org

Here he focuses on the first chakra (Muladhara), located where the two legs come together, and the seventh chakra (Sahasrara), located at the crown of the head. These two chakras, in his view, have more to do with connecting the individual to the larger world than in influencing personality traits.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. He is Co-Director of Parapsychology Education at the California Institute for Human Science.
