Rhine Research and Education Update with John Kruth

John G. Kruth is the Executive Director of the Rhine Research Center and the founder of the Rhine Education Center. He has been studying parapsychology informally for over 35 years, and has been a formal member of the Rhine research team since 2009. His research has included studies related to energetic healing methods, bioenergy signatures, out-of-body experiences, qualitative case studies, mind-matter interaction, and poltergeist phenomena.

Here he focuses on research involving the emission of photons from the human organism. He hypothesizes that this, in some way, may be associated with psychic healing or other forms of psi. He also speculates that this may have something to do with psychic photography or thoughtography. He also discusses his involvement in poltergeist research. Additionally, he is looking at a variety of psychological variables that may correlate with psychic functioning,. And, he describes the work of the Rhine Education Center.

New Thinking Allowed host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in “parapsychology” ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). He is also the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute essay competition regarding the best evidence for survival of human consciousness after permanent bodily death. He is Co-Director of Parapsychology Education at the California Institute for Human Science.
