We had a big day for the NFL. The Pro Football hall of Fame officially enshrined five members. Drew Brees, Roger Craig, Luke Keakley, Larry Fitzgerald, and Adam Venateri went to the hall today. I played against Drew. I played against Roger Craig, and I played against Adam Venateri. I did not play against Keakley or Larry Fitzgerald. I think Fitz came the year after I had retired. So congratulations to all these young men in football heaven. It's hard to tell the NFL story without telling these guys, without these guys being involved in the NFL story. So congratulations to these five men. Much, much deserved, earned. Like I said, I played against Rod when he was at. Actually, he was at the Raiders at The time not in San Francisco. And obviously Drew when he was at the Chargers and Adam Venatori, obviously he was in New England. So congratulations to all these men. But the story now, Ocho, 2027, first time eligible players. Rob Gramkoski, Rob Gronkowski. Dunk. Adrian Peterson. A dunk. Big Ben Roethlisberger. It's gonna be very, very. It's gonna be. This is where it gets interesting. This is where it gets interesting. We got Sherm, we got Cam, we got Antonio Brown. We have Levy Yonville, Andrew Whitworth, Alex Mack, Gerald McCoy and Gerald McCoy and Eric Weddle. For me, I think Gronk and AP all day.
Joe Johnson
How many get in?
Chad Ochocinco
You can, you can put up to seven, but they've been backing it down. They've been putting in five the last couple of years. A couple of years ago they only put in three.
Joe Johnson
So
Antonio Brown
I like, obviously everybody that's eligible is worthy of being in the hall of Fame. But my slam dunk, I want to add one more. And despite what he may have done off the field and some of the antics on the field as well, Antonio Brown. Antonio Brown had a six, seven year stretch, maybe eight Unk, where there's never been a receiver to ever put up those type of numbers. Joe, that did some of the things he did. Now, most of the time voters are going to judge also on what occurs off the field as opposed to on. But his numbers speak for themselves. What he was able to do. He's one of the best in the history of this game. In the history of this game. And the story of the receiver position cannot be told without mentioning Antonio Brown. Now, I know it probably will hurt him, you know, with it being his first time being the first ballot, based on some of the things that have occurred that probably rubbed some of the voters the wrong way. So they're probably going to make him wait. I mean, your picks would all day. Adrian Peterson, that's a no brainer. Gronk. It's a no brainer. Andrew Whitworth and what he was able to do, what he was able to do in Cincinnati and in la, being a centerpiece, you know, for the left tackle position, he was great. Great as well. Richard Sherman being a part of that. The Legion of Boom. Legion of Boom being one of the best defenses ever, you know, to. To be assembled, you know, you can't tell that defensive story, especially without Sherm and how well he played during his time. So so many of those players are worthy. But the slam dunks are those three that I Did mention.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah. Ocho. It's just hard for me to see. I don't. I don't see. Yeah, yeah. If they don't let TO in on the first ballot. And I know AB And AB Was phenomenal. And you and I have talked about this since the inception of Nightcap. I said AB Ocho. AB didn't realize how special he was. And like you said, he had a six or seven year stretch that was as good as any receiver that has ever played a game. But his behavior both on and off the field is going to hurt him and he's going to have to wait some time. I'm talking about some. A very long time. Because his antics are fresh in people's mind. That and maybe for a lot of people the last straw, Ocho, is that what he did at the jets when he. That was it. I'm gonna see. They said now. They said. All I know is they say behavior now matters where it never mattered before and to never had any issues off the field. We're going to see how they judge Ben Roethlisberger
T-Mobile User
now.
Chad Ochocinco
Eli Manning comes back up on the ballot.
Antonio Brown
You know, you know they're not gonna let a Manning wait that long now. You know that.
Chad Ochocinco
This will be his third try. Third try, baby. Three times the charm.
Joe Johnson
Hey, hey. So y' all telling me out of all these guys right here, they only gonna take about five of them?
Chad Ochocinco
If they take. I don't know if they take that many now, now, Joe, they might be some guys because there's some guys that didn't get in this year. Yeah, that's gonna be on the ballot next year.
Joe Johnson
Right.
Chad Ochocinco
And there are some old timers that's gonna be coming up. So some senior guys. So it might be, you know, Paul Tagley, Booth is going to come back up. I think Mike Shanahan is starting to getting some support and I think he should because there are guys that have less super bowl wins than Mike Shanahan. What he did in Denver. How do you tell the story of the Broncos and the back to back champion without telling Mike Shanahan story being a part of it. I think he's more than deserving. And that's not the cast. I look down on anybody else because I believe I can shine a light on on Mike Shanahan without dimming the light on someone else. That's just the way I feel. But yes, I am biased. I make no bones about that. We do not become back to back super bowl champs without Mike Shanahan. That being said. Yeah. Yeah. Joe, Cam is on the ballot, Sherm. They came out in the 2011 draft. That's a. That was a loaded draft.
Antonio Brown
It's tough.
Chad Ochocinco
They say from what they've. What I've told is that the first ballots, those are for the Jerry Rice's, the Joe Montana, the Tom Brady, the Peyton Manning, those guys. The John Elwoods, the Reggie Whites, the Lawrence Taylors.
Joe Johnson
Now,
Chad Ochocinco
how many of those guys you see comparable to that? For me, I think Gronk is one of the two best titans in football ever. I think he and Kelsey. I got Kelsey a slight nod. For what Kelsey's been able to do in the postseason. You've never seen, with the exception in the super bowl in which they lost to the. But he's been big. Every super bowl he shows up. Every playoff game, he shows up. He's rivaling Jerry Rice as far as catches, yards, touchdowns. He might have surpassed him in a few of those. So he and Kelsey, Kelsey and Gronk, those are my. Those are my guys for me. And that's not a knock on anybody else because I know there are some hell of a tight end from Winslow to Mackie to Dicker, Gates, myself, Ozzy. There are a lot of guys, a lot of guys that belong in there. But for what these guys were able to do in the regular season and the postseason and the touchdown that Gronk's go. I mean, I mean, I mean, what do you say? What do you say, Chad?
Joe Johnson
What do you say?
Chad Ochocinco
And Kelsey still. Still going strong.
T-Mobile Advertiser
13.
Chad Ochocinco
Five. What do you have? 13, 000 yards, a thousand catches.
Joe Johnson
Hey, hey, hey. Y' all don't think Cam. Cam Newton will sure in first ballot? I mean, considering the fact.
Chad Ochocinco
Hold on, hold up, hold up.
Joe Johnson
Not only did he get to the super bowl, but we talking about he's probably the leading rusher in the NFL when it comes to quarterbacks and touchdowns. Am I right or wrong?
Chad Ochocinco
I think. I think what you call him is past him. Who? I think Lamar Jackson.
Joe Johnson
I don't know. We have to look that up, but I think he's. I feel like Cam Newton kind of started that dual threat, strong, physical quarterback who can run and pass. I don't see how he ain't gonna. I don't see how he ain't. First ballot, huh?
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, I'm just basing it on what. What the. What they've been doing since I've been following it.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, Eli.
Chad Ochocinco
Eli won back to back. Eli won two Super Bowls and he beat Tom Brady to do it.
Joe Johnson
And he didn't get in on first ballot.
Chad Ochocinco
Helio. He's coming up on his third ballot. Kurt Warner is a two time league mvp. A Super Bowl MVP with the three Super Bowls. He didn't get in on the first battle.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, yeah, it's tough.
Chad Ochocinco
They are very, very particular who they let in. I mean you think about Luke Keakley, played eight years. He's a five time first team all pro in eight years and he was defensive player of the year and defensive rookie of the year.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
And they didn't let him in on the first battle.
Antonio Brown
Even though his career was short, his impact during that time was phenomenal. He was phenomenal, Joe. He was different. Joe, in that eight year span I'm talking about you turn the tape on, boy, you see 59 every.
Chad Ochocinco
Every un.
Antonio Brown
Unbel. Unbelievable career. Even though it was only eight years.
Chad Ochocinco
He got my vote for defensive rookie of the year and player of the year and defensive player of the year. He got my vote.
Antonio Brown
Absolutely.
Chad Ochocinco
Sean. Alex Mack, I'm trying to say he played, didn't he play at the Jets? Ocho?
Antonio Brown
Alex Mack.
Chad Ochocinco
Alex Mack. No, he played at Cleveland. McCoy. Hell, they let Johnny Randall in on the first ballot. And I.
Antonio Brown
Hell.
Chad Ochocinco
And, and I. Yeah, it's like I said, I, I used to think, I think, I used to think I knew the first ballot.
T-Mobile User
Hall of Fame.
Antonio Brown
It all comes. It all depends on the player. It all depends on the player. It all depends on obviously those that are doing the voting, that are letting the players in. You have to, you have to align with them and their core values and what they think a player should be like in getting in on that, on that one, that, on that first ballot. So, so it's different sometimes. What I don't like about those in a position of power to vote those in is they hold grudges based on things that have nothing to do with the game of football. It had nothing to do. What did you do in between them lines on Sundays at 1 o' clock and at 7:30 and sometimes at 4? That's all for me. If I was voting what you did on that field, how impactful were you? Not just one or two years. I'm talking about consistently every single year. Especially when you're off as a player and they're scheming to stop you and they know you coming and you still get it done. Consistently over the years. That's what I'm looking at.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Ocho. They still got Tory Holt on the ballot. They still got Reggie Wayne on the ballot.
Antonio Brown
Too many, Too many. Too many greats. Too many. And we're not talking about just regular players. These are too many greats.
Chad Ochocinco
You mentioned in Legends, but you said something very interesting. You said the guys, men and women. There are 50 men and women voters now, because when I went in, there were only 44. Now there are 50. With that being said, they changed the bylaws, which is to keep to. From getting in on the first ballot. They changed the bylaws. They said what you did on the field could negatively impact when it came time to voting. They changed those bylaws. Prior to that, you nothing. They said nothing other than football impacted whether or not you got in. Based on that alone, you already know ab not getting in on getting in anytime soon. Also, with that being said, Ocho, you say people hold grudges. You got to realize, I Understand these are 50 men and women that are human, that have emotions, that have feelings. So I don't know. It's just like you. Somebody wrong you and then come down the line, they want you to do them a solid.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
What you tell me how you gonna handle it?
Antonio Brown
I'm with you when you're right. I'm with you when you're right.
Chad Ochocinco
Come on. People like, oh, you gotta set that aside. You wouldn't set it aside. But people always. You know what I notice on your. People always ask you to do something they would never do.
Antonio Brown
Hey, but, but, but also, you have to think about it. The people that. That are voting, the people that need positions to power, they understand the control that they do have. They enjoy that satisfaction to be able to control whether you want to get in or not. Right? But also, whatever these players did that they might not like, it didn't affect them in any way. It doesn't actually affect you in general. It. It doesn't. So to be able to.
Chad Ochocinco
Let me ask you a question. You're a reporter. Let me ask you. You're a reporter, so you come to me after the game, hey, Mr. Sharp, what you think? Man, get out my face. Now I'm gonna give you my butt the kids for about a decade.
Antonio Brown
Okay? Okay.
Chad Ochocinco
Now it's gonna come time for me to be a Hall. If I get the hall of Fame vote. And I'm gonna need your vote, Ocho. Tell me how you think I see
Antonio Brown
me going with it. So now. Now that. That situation, that situation in general, that comes down to Bill Belichick not going in first ballot.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, there you go. Joe prime example. Six Super Bowls, nine Super bowl appearances, two super bowl wins. As a defensive coordinator, he was so great that they took the game plan in which he used the 1990s to stop the K Gun is in the hall of Fame as you and I talk today.
Joe Johnson
Oh, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
He didn't get in the first ballot.
Joe Johnson
Oh, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Because why that behavior? He and I think Coach Belichick. I think the world. I think Coach Belichick is the greatest NFL coach in NFL history.
Joe Johnson
Oh, man. Listen.
Chad Ochocinco
But there are a lot of people that do not like coach.
Antonio Brown
They don't like me either, Joe. Everybody think I had. I had put my. Hey, why you think I put my own jacket on? Hey, man, I ain't got time to play with y'. All.
Joe Johnson
I already knew it. All right. Hey, look, that's cheating. Hell, if Belichick didn't go in first ballot. Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
So who was the first battle? So what are the first ball? So what coach is there. I mean, y' all gonna make. Are they gonna make Andy Reid? Wait, no. So Andy Reid gonna have to. So Andy Reid's gonna pick red?
Antonio Brown
Absolutely not.
Chad Ochocinco
I remember Big Red with the tight end coach. He was coaching my brother now. He was up there with home.
Antonio Brown
He was in Green Bay.
Chad Ochocinco
And John Gruden. Yeah, it was in Green Bay. Yeah, Red was in Green Bay. Yeah, absolutely.
Joe Johnson
All them.
Chad Ochocinco
When Homegrown got the job in 92, he took all those. Was on the staff at San Francisco. He took all those with him. Steve Mariucci, Dick Jaron, all them was on the staff. Ray Rhodes. Yeah, Gruden. All of them was on that staff. Andy Reid. Sherm was the offensive coordinator, though. And that's the thing, though. But see, and the thing is, is that. But that's the only way to do it. I mean, how else can you get a Hall of Fame unless you have somebody vote on it? I mean, we hate subjectivity. I mean, that's why, you know, if I'm a die, if I dive before I do gymnastics, Ocho, it's subjective. I might hit the most difficult thing. And somebody like, ah, yeah, that's all right.
Joe Johnson
Right?
Chad Ochocinco
I know I want to win. I'm the first one to the tape. I touched the wall first. I broke the finish line first. I lift the most weights. I threw the thing the farthest.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, yeah, but it's ridiculous, though, the whole Bill Belichick thing. Now, I know obviously, he didn't sit right the way he did. He did. Reporters obviously, not being really given too much information. His answers were short. And the thing about him is he was consistent. It was him. It was always him. A lot of people didn't like the way he did things, but he did it his way. In his way. It did one thing. He won. He won doing it exactly like that. And to have a coach like that, that basically sets the standard on what every coach will want to be like. You want to consistently win like that time and time again. He had a 20 year run which was unbelievable in New England.
Chad Ochocinco
Unprecedented. Yep.
Antonio Brown
So to leave him out, man, I mean he, he, he is the standard.
Chad Ochocinco
You'll never see another run like that.
Joe Johnson
Oh, no. Hey, hey. And I did not know that they made that, man.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, yeah, Joe. Yeah, Joe.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Antonio Brown
Oh yeah.
Ice Cube
He was up last.
Antonio Brown
He was up last year. Then he ain't going.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
So now guess what, Joe, he's on the 20, 27 ballot along with Reggie Wayne.
Joe Johnson
Oh, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Along with Tory Holt.
Joe Johnson
Okay, I see what you're saying. Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
With Eli Manning, with Ben Roethlisberger. So the names that we just mentioned on the first ballot. Yeah, you got six more people that came in that might be on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th or 6th. Battle.
Joe Johnson
Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. So they only take, I see what you're saying.
Chad Ochocinco
And they said, look, we, we, we, we, we were putting too many people in. We were diluting the product. So they made a conscious decision. Like I said, I think. What was it a couple of years ago? It was only three, I think. Yeah, three, maybe four. With Gates. When Gates went in, Allen, I don't know who the other guy was, but it wasn't that many guys that went in that year. When you're moving like I do, trips don't always come together weeks in advance. Sometimes production shoots, interviews or something I've got to travel for on a short notice. I'm trying to find it so I can frame it in the background. And you know, I had my own little hall of Fame ceremony and all Joe. In the locker room after the game.
Joe Johnson
Hey, hey, you deserve it.
On! Plus Nicotine Pouches Advertiser
Appreciate you, Joe.
Chad Ochocinco
You deserve it.
On! Plus Nicotine Pouches Advertiser
Appreciate you.
Joe Johnson
You know what I mean?
Antonio Brown
Sometimes, hey, sometimes, Joe, when they don't celebrate you, you got to give yourself your own flowers. You hear me?
Joe Johnson
Yeah, yeah, I agree. I agree with yo, Joe.
Chad Ochocinco
So it's gonna be, it's gonna be very, very, very, very, very interesting to see this thing, boy, this thing. Because like I said, the guys that haven't gotten in in the past couple of years, it Cause here the problem that I have. And this is what I said, what I didn't get in, guys. I said, if you don't love my numbers this year, you're gonna hate them next year because they feel I'm not going to add to it. Because think about it. If you don't like Tory Holtz and you don't like Steve Smith Sr. Yeah, you don't like. You don't like Reggie Wayne's numbers. In two to three years, when these guys come out, these guys gonna have 1200, 1300, 1400 catches.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Antonio Brown
Good game.
Chad Ochocinco
So, so, so now you like. Man, he only had a thousand catches. Yeah, a thousand catches back then was a lot of damn catches. That's why we marvel at the guys that came that had those kind of catches in the, like Jerry starting the 80s and we started seeing guys get a thousand because they were running the football back then. You. It's just. And when you get to this point, everybody feel that they're more than deserving, that they've earned the right. Because there are a lot of guys that's been the 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 Pro Bowls. They've been a 2, 3, 4 time, first team all pro. They've been an all decade player. So what's the. How do I mean it say? Well, you know, I gotta wait. I gotta wait, man. Hell, I want my family to see me. I want my. I want to, you know, I don't want to go up there. I'm in a damn wheelchair. I can't walk and can't enjoy it. Hell, let me enjoy it.
Antonio Brown
Hey, I. I love it. It's awesome. It's awesome. I'm, you know, being it. Being able to watch Larry, Fitz and Luke. Luke up there, man, and seeing them boys talking and Larry, you know, giving us his, his flowers to Randy and then how he inspired and motivated him. It was a dope thing to see. It was a dope thing. And it's a good thing. Hey, honestly, Joe, it's a good thing they don't put me in, boy. You hear me?
Joe Johnson
Why is that?
Antonio Brown
What, Joe? What? Well, you'll never see an interest or a speech like that ever again.
Joe Johnson
You gonna show up?
Chad Ochocinco
Well, I sure hope your team do like most teams do. Both teams, they put the bill for their players. I don't know what Cincinnati gonna do. Ah, Mr. B covered everything. Mr. B covered everything for me, you hear? Mr. Wilson, he covered things for his players when they got up there. The 49ers guys, Eddie the Bartolo, probably Jerry, I'm assuming. Let me not. I know Mr. Wilson, what he did for Brucey and, and, And Thurm and those guys. I know what Mr. Bolan did for me, so I can't speak for anybody else. I don't want to be presumptuous, but I know I was taken care of. The reason why they have it in the stadium now was because of Jim Kelly. It used to be on the steps of the hall of Fame. Jim Kelly brought a thousand guests.
Ice Cube
A what?
Chad Ochocinco
Damn, Jim Kelly brought damn near everybody in Pennsylvania.
Antonio Brown
I don't even. Hey, I don't know a thousand people, boy.
Chad Ochocinco
So that's why now, Joe. That's why now, guys, it's in the stadium, become a gym.
Joe Johnson
Damn.
Chad Ochocinco
But the thing is, when I went to the ring of fame, he brought my family. He brought my family, he brought my coaches, he brought my homeboy. He brought everybody, put us up, had a suite to ourselves the night before. Mike, hey, 84, I want to do something for you. Like, you know, I might. It's like, hey, once you get the fan, I said, mike, it's a. I said, mike, it's a bunch of us. Don't. Don't worry about it. Before we got lobster, steak, expensive ass wine, man. Don't nobody drank no wine, man. We drank Morgan David. Where I grew up at, Joe, they talking about some protrusive. All that Bordeaux and all that other stuff. Camers. Nah, man, Go on and get some Morgan David and we call it a night.
Joe Johnson
Oh, yeah.
Antonio Brown
I like. I like it.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, listen, listen.
Joe Johnson
They gonna take care of you.
Antonio Brown
No, no, no, no, no, Joe, don't, don't do that. Joe, don't. Don't do that. I like it the way it is. No, you don't understand, Joe. Hey, and no, no disrespect to them boys, you know, getting in, but you have to understand, Joe, is. I understand the meaning of it, right? But it's not something that I actually need because I understood when I was playing, I'm gonna conduct myself in a manner where a lot of people aren't gonna like the way I do things. They're not. And I was. I was okay with that. So the fact remains that I was able to be authentically myself. And if that didn't sit well with those that are in those positions of power that do the voting, I'm good. That's why I put.
Chad Ochocinco
Who caught them yards? Who caught them yards? Who put the ball in the end zone?
Joe Johnson
That what I'm saying, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Damn. All that, all that other stuff, the proposal to the cheerleader and all that other stuff.
Antonio Brown
They look at all that, though. They look at all that, though. You and I understand.
Chad Ochocinco
No, they don't.
Ice Cube
They should.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, I'm good.
Chad Ochocinco
You were not. Look, you were not disruptive on the field. Because the thing is, is that others, when they be yelling and kicking and slinging snot, they call that passion. They call us a Mild content. They call us being disruptive. I call y' all to kiss my. You know what I mean? That wasn't my personality. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I did everything behind closed doors because I knew everybody was looking, but. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't. Don't. Don't try to. Now say what? Because one guy does it. He's passionate.
T-Mobile User
He.
Chad Ochocinco
This is how much he cares the game. He's showing you how he cares. And then somebody else. They're being disruptive. They're being malcontent. Yeah, nah, that's something that they. That they put on to the receiver, because the lion share of the receivers, they kind of look like us guys.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I like it, though, Joe. Doing. Doing. Just doing it my way, Joe. Being the villain. I enjoy being a villain. I embrace that. And I think if I tried to be anything else other than myself and the way I played the game as a kid, I think I wouldn't have been good. Nah, really, I wouldn't have been good.
Chad Ochocinco
No, I agree.
Joe Johnson
Hey, so you enjoy being that intelligent?
Antonio Brown
Yeah, I had to, Joe. I had to talk trash every week. I had to because I had to add pressure to myself. For one. I. I'm in a situation. We were losing, we were playing. We were bad. During my time, during my tenure, when I played 11 years and had one good season, I mean, totally as one time, Joe. I had no choice. I could fill up a stadium, Joe, and we had. We was winning four game seasons, but I could fill up a stadium based on. Ain't no telling what he gonna do. I got to go watch. Yeah, you got to. I had to do what I did. And I mean, the cards I was dealt. I did the best I could with the hand I was dealt, Joe. You know, I wasn't able to play. You know, I mean, Carson was phenomenal. It just. It's different where I went. The situation. I'm not with the 49ers. I'm not with the packers, you know, I'm not with a franchise that is known for winning. So. Joe, I had to get that shit out the mud, Joe, you.
Joe Johnson
I already knew it. You had to get dirty.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, I enjoyed it, though. Boy, I went, hey, I wouldn't have. Hey, if I had to do it again, boy, I do it the same way and add a little bit more seasoning on it.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, well, I think, man, I left
Antonio Brown
so many celebrations out there.
Chad Ochocinco
Blessing, though, Ocho, because just think about it. Had you gone to a coach like park sales, he ain't Having that, you go to a coach like Belichick, so you would. You would. It's a. It's a. It's a. It's a fine. It's a fine line.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Between being who you are, winning and like, you were great. You were a great player. There are some people that are great in the role that they play. That ain't you. So they gotta let you in order for you. In order for you to function. And I believe this. That's why you weren't able to be yourself.
Antonio Brown
Because I told you the first word. Bill told me when I got there. What are you doing, Ocho? I'm glad to have you. It was awesome going against you over the years, but you know, you have to change who you are to be here. And, boy, from that day on, Joe, I was walking on eggshells amongst the other coach.
Chad Ochocinco
Why you. Why you brought me here?
Joe Johnson
Hey, hey. In other words, Bill will tell you.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, look, look, look.
Joe Johnson
Don't come here with all them damn shenanigans, okay?
Antonio Brown
No, sir.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, we need you to lock in.
Antonio Brown
Is he have to tell me that? Because when you walk in, you already know. You already knew what time it was. Man, I took a backseat. I was quiet. I ain't do no media. What I got to talk about.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, hey.
Joe Johnson
That man had scared you straight. In a man.
Antonio Brown
Hey, he didn't have to say that. Cause I often walk a straight line. Anyway, you hear the stories. Even though you're not playing for the Patriots, you hear the stories. Boy, Randy Moss, coming off a 23 touchdown season, complaining about his contract. It was going in 48 hours. You think I'm gonna come in there?
Joe Johnson
Oh, yeah.
Antonio Brown
Oh, yeah, man, please.
Chad Ochocinco
See, you go to the Ravens, don't change nothing. Just go be a Raven. Just go play hard, do whatever you want to do. Long as you long. Long as you ain't harming nobody, you gonna play football. All those antics that don't mean nothing. Don't mean nothing. Not if he had to produce. I just say, hey, be you, boy. If you talk, talk. Don't come in, be quiet. Hey, hey, hey.
Joe Johnson
That's why it make a huge difference to where you get drafted at. You know, in any sport, bro, it makes a huge difference because absolutely, it's coaches out here who can hinder, you know, your talent and have you pulling back versus trying to go forward. You know what I mean? So I think fit is key and who you get drafted to, you know what I mean? Meaning the type of system you playing in, bro, that means Everything
Chad Ochocinco
I tell Ocho, and I've been saying this, it ain't how high you go, it's where you go.
Joe Johnson
Hello.
Chad Ochocinco
That is the most important thing. And I know everybody wants to be. I want to be the number one pick, and I want to go here and I want to go there. And you be the number one pick or the number one pick overall or a first round draft pick and go into the wrong situation and then people look at you like you're crazy.
Joe Johnson
It'll kill your career.
Chad Ochocinco
It absolutely will. So where you go is very important.
Antonio Brown
And obviously, if you go that high and you go to a bad team, do you know how good you have to be. Do you know how good you have to be to overshadow how bad the team is? And that's very likely. Very, very likely.
Chad Ochocinco
Yes. Especially when you're wide, when you. When you play in the position. That's why, you know, you look at a guy like a d hop,
Joe Johnson
like,
Chad Ochocinco
bro, do you realize before. Before he got desean who he had thrown to him now? I think he had Matt Shaw for a little while. Matt shaw was lighting it up. Nate sha be throwing a thing now. But he had some. He had some quarterbacks in there like, oh, lord.
Antonio Brown
And he still made it work.
Chad Ochocinco
Yes, yes, absolutely.
Antonio Brown
Hey, I got a question too. About. About this too. The find. When it comes to the voters, the people, obviously we don't know who they are. Do you think it would be better if the 50 people that were doing the voting were those that actually played the game? Or should that not matter?
Chad Ochocinco
No, because there are a couple of them now. I mean, there are a couple of guys that's in the hall of fame, that's on the committee, but it's going to be just like they did. It could be just like they did when they used to vote for the pro. But you remember how they used to. But how they used to vote for the pro bowl, Ocho.
On! Plus Nicotine Pouches Advertiser
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Did they take it serious? See, people forget. See, everybody keeps saying that, but you and I both know we voted and we know. Hey, man, go ahead. Right? Hey, whatever you say. Whatever you say.
Ice Cube
Yeah, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Whatever you think. Oh, Joe, you know, I'm just telling you how it is.
Joe Johnson
I already know.
Chad Ochocinco
I'm gonna. I'm gonna spill some tea, Ocho and I gonna spill some tea. That's how they did it. We supposed to go in there and vote as a collective group. Obviously, you can't vote for anybody on your team. Offense, vote for defense. Defense, vote for offense.
Antonio Brown
Hey, them, boy.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, man. Shop I got man shop. I gotta go, man. Go. Hey, whatever you say, man. You know. Hey, you know better than anybody, man. You watching it. You studying, watching. But that ain't. That ain't the point.
Antonio Brown
All the receivers be. Hey, but who you got? Who you putting down?
Chad Ochocinco
Thank you.
Antonio Brown
Okay, okay. Who. Okay. Bet I got. I'm putting him to him. Put him, too.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah.
Antonio Brown
Hey, Jordan, boy, being a man, bull drive.
Chad Ochocinco
Who you don't hung out with in Miami, you hung out with in Vegas. So that's why the lineman, for the most part, you see the same offensive lineman go every year. Yeah, that's why most linemen, they get five teams, they get level nine, 10, 12, Pro bowl selection.
Antonio Brown
You know what's funny, too?
Chad Ochocinco
Because first of all, they can't get
Joe Johnson
stats,
Antonio Brown
especially when it comes to lineman Joe. The lineman that do code over and over, them actually beat them boys, though. Yeah, it beat them dogs and beat them dogs that show up every week on film. You know, as a lineman, if you go to Pro Bowls continuously, year in and year out, you. You really good. You really good. There's no other way to measure you outside of what you do on goddamn film. There's no other way. Yeah, especially an officer lineman.
Chad Ochocinco
But I done seen some situations. Guys get their ass in on reputation, too. Don't let them fool you. So, Joe. Yeah, some guys get their ass in on reputation. God, they were. They were good. And did you. And. And I'm not saying because, you know, sometimes you.
T-Mobile User
You.
Chad Ochocinco
You miss a year that you should have got in. And there are. Sometimes you get in on a year you should have kept your ass at home.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
And I'm like, how the hell, bro? I'm like, man. Cause you. Hey. And guys. And he started getting like, what, week 12, week 13? Don't your guys start politicking. Hey, boy, let your boy get that vote. See, you see how. Ocho. Ocho, though. That's exactly what they be saying.
Antonio Brown
Hey, that's a good one.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, hey, hey, Sean, let your boy get that vote now.
Antonio Brown
That's a good one.
Chad Ochocinco
I said, man. Cause back then, guys used to, like, everybody had a. For the most part, guys have football camps. So you build, you know, you build up a bar, you know, you go out, you do the football camp, you go out to eat, you know, you drink, you have a good time together. But nah, ojo.
Joe Johnson
Hey, hey, hey, hey. I think in basketball, we used to vote, too. The players used to vote, too, for the MVP and all that and all that.
Chad Ochocinco
They did. Y' all did until 1980. 1980 was the last year, the last year that the players voted for the MVP prior to up until then. So all those years, that's why Oscar the year. Think about it. The year Oscar Hunter had the triple double, that was the same year that wilt had 50, 25.
Joe Johnson
Damn.
Antonio Brown
Hold on.
Chad Ochocinco
Russell won the MVP. That was the greatest statistical season ever. 61, 62. Go back and look at that season and look at those guys. Look at what Walt Bellamy did. Look at what Elgin Baylor did. Look at what Jerry west did. What's old boy Russell look. Russell was 50 and 25 and didn't win the MVP. Oscar had a triple double. I think Elgin Baylor was like 31 and 18. Walt Bellamy was 30 and 15. Jared west was like 35 and 6. Go look at those numbers. Who voted?
Joe Johnson
Hey, you went back, way back yonder. Hell, I. I thought, I thought, I thought the players. I thought so much.
Chad Ochocinco
I thought I was voting.
Joe Johnson
At one point, I thought we were
Chad Ochocinco
voting not for the MVP. You better vote for the All Star, but not MVP.
Joe Johnson
I think that may have been.
Chad Ochocinco
80 was the last year.
Joe Johnson
Damn. Yeah, man. They gonna. They gonna get it.
Chad Ochocinco
They gonna keep.
Joe Johnson
They gonna kick us players out of there as far as. Because of favoritism. For real. That's why. You know, these analytic guys are really locked in, bro. Cause they gonna give them an opportunity. You know what I mean? It's a little different now, fellas.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, but Joe. But Joe, they say that was the greatest. If you go back and look at chat, do us a favor. Go back and look at that 61, 62 season and look at the MVP candidates that year. And if I'm not mistaken, hold on. Elgin. Hello. Because somebody. Somebody served time in the military. It might have been Baylor. One of those. One of those MVP guys missed part of the season because of his military service.
Joe Johnson
I'm talking about. I don't know where that boy be getting his information from, but he be tapped in over there, don't he, Ocho? Huh?
Antonio Brown
Everything, boy, he done.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, man, I'm almost certain. I'm almost certain one of those guys. I want to say Baylor. Don't quote me on that, but I think it was Baylor. But Baylor had a hell of a year. But that year, go back and look at those top MVP candidates numbers. And you like, what the hell? Now, rebounding guys were shooting for, excuse me, effing 30%. So there gonna be a lot of rebounds to grab. Joe and Ocho.
Joe Johnson
Damn.
Chad Ochocinco
It ain't like it. You look at that.
T-Mobile Terms Announcer
Look.
Chad Ochocinco
Look at the numbers, Joe.
Joe Johnson
Hold on.
Chad Ochocinco
What were the numbers from when? 61, 62 that season when Wilt was 50, 25, I think. Or what you call was like 18 and 22. 18 and 23.
Joe Johnson
That man say 50, 25. I can't even imagine. I can't even imagine somebody averaging them numbers, bro.
Chad Ochocinco
But then he said, y' all thought I was a fluke. And he came back the next year and put up 50, 44, and 27. Ain't nobody gonna ever break Wilson up. Go back and look what he did his rookie year. Ain't nobody gonna be there. Ain't nobody. The rebounding numbers. Y' all might as well just say start all over from scratch. Ain't nobody getting 23, 000 rebounds ever.
Joe Johnson
62. That's crazy. 25, boys, a game is wild. 50.4, man. Come on, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Played every. Played 48.2 minutes a game. Played every minute of the game.
Antonio Brown
Hey, hold on. Hey, Joe. Imagine he played in Converse too, didn't he?
Joe Johnson
That why I f to say, boy.
Chad Ochocinco
Probably out there some hard bottles. That was the only thing you could play here, a pro cast.
Joe Johnson
Hey, hey, hey, hey. Think about it. And he out there in some hard bottoms, you know what I mean? Playing all. How many were they playing? 82 back then, huh? Come on, man.
Chad Ochocinco
No orthotics back then, too. They played 80 rail way back. Yeah.
T-Mobile Terms Announcer
Hey, hey.
Joe Johnson
No orthotics. None of that. Just straight.
Antonio Brown
Hey, straight socks and socks and shoes.
Chad Ochocinco
No cut. Ain't no nothing about no cold tub. Ain't no red light therapy.
Joe Johnson
Hey, the boy. Hey, hey, hey, hey. The boy built different back then, boy.
Ice Cube
Yeah.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, they were built like them hard cars back then, you know? Now these cars made plastic. You touch them, they ball.
Antonio Brown
Everything back then was steel wheels, boy.
Joe Johnson
Listen.
Chad Ochocinco
Yes. Hey, you remember. Hey, you remember how your. How your. Your uncle's memory was built?
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
How hard your grandfather and grandpa hard they was?
Joe Johnson
Yeah, yeah, yeah, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Ain't like that no more. They don't make a magnet no more. This man was hard. When you're moving like I do, trips don't always come together weeks in advance. Sometimes production shoots interviews or something I've got to travel for on a short notice. Like the time when I had the last minute trip to Denver and everything came together fast. Once it was locked in, I had to be ready to go. That's where Amazon prime can make a difference. When something comes together quickly, you can get what you need. Like grooming essentials, neck pillow, eye mask, even snacks for the flights so you're ready to show up for it with same day delivery. All those items show up on time and still make the trip. So you can show up and focus on why you're there and not everything around it. Because at that point it's not just about getting there, it's about making the most of the opportunity in front of you. That's what I like about Prime. It makes easy to say yes when the moment shows up. Same day delivery. It's on prime available in select areas. Chad Ochocinco
yes oh Joe. Change of plan In Cleveland, Sean Watson and Shador Sanders had been rotating first team reps. On day when Shador was scheduled to practice with the starting offense, desean took every rep with the number one unit. Shador split the remaining refs with Dylan Gabriel. In fact, Todd Monkey just said minutes before practice, desean might end up with seven on seven, but Shador would take the majority of the reps with the ones that did not happen. Monkin did not speak to the media after practice, but according to Mary Kay Cabot Brown's team spokesman said there were personal groupings Coach Monkin wanted to see desean with today. He took all the all the first team reps on what was supposed to be Shador Savage.
Antonio Brown
I mean obvious, obviously it's what I already said was going to happen too. Obviously you want to evaluate your talent, you want to evaluate, you know, your quarterbacks, which ones and those who are going to actually be in the game. As we get closer to the first preseason game, the ones need to work with the ones as much as possible. While he's probably ramping up the reps for Deshaun Watson with the number one crew who on starting day in September, whatever the first game is, is probably going to be DeSean Watson again. Chat as much as I love as much as I love Shador, I would love for him to start, I would love for him to play right now. But when it comes to business, those that make the decisions and because how much DeSean Watson is making this year, he will be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. That's it. There's no if, ands, buts about it. Who you might like, who you don't like I'm just. Just from a business standpoint, you're not having a 40 million dollar quarterback sitting on the bench because the rest of the world wants to see Shador play. That's not the way it works. Now, if things don't go well, I say maybe week four or five. If things aren't going well and they're losing, Shador will make his entrance and he will probably hold on to that starting quarterback position for the remainder of the year. And desean will go on elsewhere next year.
Chad Ochocinco
Well, it's going to be too late then. By that time, you, you, you already know, Ocho, how the NFL is. It's hard. You lose that. You start out losing and make. And make the playoffs. They're not built like that. They don't have that type of roster. They don't have that type of weaponry. And I'm just trying to figure out why you want to see him on personnel groupings. When it's my day. When it's come to his day. Okay, now you can see. So, so what? What about tomorrow? Why? So we can't. We can't do these groupings tomorrow.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
So. So what was so special about my day that I'm supposed to get the reps? We supposed to alternate so we. You didn't want to see him with the group tomorrow, huh? Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Joe Johnson
I'm with you on this one, Ocho. I think you give Deshaun Watson a fair shake, you know, you give him an opportunity to really come out and show improve if he can get back to that elite quarterback play that he, that he once was. I don't know. I don't know. But, but I think it's going to be a short leash, though, Ocho. I don't think it's going to be like y' all saying five, six weeks. I don't think it's going to take that long.
Antonio Brown
Hey, listen, again, Deshaun Watson, success is going to be contingent on those that are surrounding him. Judy Concepcion. Bond them.
Joe Johnson
Boy, he got some weapons, though. He got some weapons.
Antonio Brown
Them boys have to be on point. They got to be on point. I'm talking about every rep, no mistakes, no errors, getting open, being efficient. You know, yak run at the catch. I mean, every. They got to be on point.
Joe Johnson
Did they beep up? Did they beef up that offensive line?
Antonio Brown
No, I don't know, but I don't know about that.
Joe Johnson
Huh, Unc? Did they do something to the offensive line? Man, That's gonna make the biggest difference right there. You hey, hey. All them weapons sound and look good out there, okay? But hell if I ain't got no blocking back here.
Chad Ochocinco
I can't see Nathaniel, huh?
Antonio Brown
They got down. I can't wait. I can't wait to see what's four last name? Fanning. Is it Fanning?
Joe Johnson
Fanning. He cut a rug last year, didn't it?
Antonio Brown
Man, I like young Bull. That boy. I like him.
HIV Prevention PSA Speaker
Boy.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, I think the thing is, Joe, you say maybe he can get back. If he get back to that elite status, it'll be the greatest turnaround in NFL history.
Joe Johnson
Hello.
Chad Ochocinco
No player has ever fall, have such a precipitous drop and recapture it. It's hard. Now, we've seen players drop off a year and come back. You know what I'm saying? Okay, in 2019, played bad, came back in 2020, hit it up and went back. Went back like he was. But to have this many years off and to pick back up where he wants, we've never. We've never seen that in the history of the game. Never.
Joe Johnson
It's gonna be tough to do that, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Yes, especially there.
Joe Johnson
You think? But my thing is, the only reason why I say it's gonna be tough, Uncle Ocho, because he hadn't played elite in quite some time. Cause I think he got the weapons, man. Hell, at the end of the day, it's. They.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay now, Joe, let's not get carried away. He ain't throwing. He ain't got Cincinnati weapons. He ain't got what the Rams got.
Antonio Brown
He got.
Chad Ochocinco
He got some weapons.
Antonio Brown
Every team can't be loaded like Cincinnati or the Rams or like the Seahawks. But what he does have, they can't be like Detroit. But what he does have. He got something to work with, though.
Chad Ochocinco
When you load it like that, what do you do? And when you're not loaded like that, what do you do? Miss the playoffs, meddle around. It's not an accident. Talent wins. As much as we want to say, oh, this and that talent, this is the NFL.
Antonio Brown
This is the best of the best.
Ice Cube
Yes.
Antonio Brown
Now, we can't. You got to work with what you got. So what they do have, even if there's different levels of said talent, spread it around throughout the teams, right? Whoever the officers or coordinator is for the Cleveland Browns, you gotta. It's all about knowing your personnel, knowing. Not only knowing your personnel, but knowing your players strengths, playing to their strengths, putting them in positions to make the plays, understanding your quarterback strength and weaknesses. That's all. That's all. I mean, listen, I make it sound Easy, but it's not easy. But putting them in positions to make plays, knowing their strengths and their weaknesses and is going to be extremely important. I know you got an office to run. I know you have a scheme. I know a way. You have a way of that. You like to do things, but if you don't have the personnel to do what you like to do, you got the finagle a little bit.
Chad Ochocinco
You can't finesse that much. Ocho, you 30, you 30, you 30 cent away from a dime. The hell you mean finagle? Let me ask you a question. Do they got more talent than the Texans Offensively, team, however you want to put it. Offensively, defensively. What about Jacksonville?
Antonio Brown
Ooh, Jacksonville. Loaded.
Chad Ochocinco
What about the Colts? What about the Broncos? What about Kansas City? What about the Chargers?
Antonio Brown
See?
Chad Ochocinco
What about Cincinnati? What about the Ravens?
Antonio Brown
Yes.
Chad Ochocinco
Well, I just went through. So. So where are they?
Antonio Brown
Yeah, they.
T-Mobile Advertiser
They.
Antonio Brown
They like.
Chad Ochocinco
So when I would I put it
HIV Prevention PSA Speaker
to you like that?
Antonio Brown
Matter of fact, what you did, what you just did is you named tier. Tier. Tier 1 teams. When it comes to talent, I name
Chad Ochocinco
teams in the afc.
Antonio Brown
I'm going by tears, though.
Chad Ochocinco
We're gonna take the division. Let's do. They got more talent in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh.
Antonio Brown
That. That might be. That might be.
Chad Ochocinco
That might be a little easy.
Antonio Brown
That might be a little even.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay, let. Let's go to the AFC South. Houston, they up there. They would. They got more talent in Houston. Yes or no? Jacksonville.
Antonio Brown
Jacksonville got the edge offensively, but go ahead.
Chad Ochocinco
The Colts.
Antonio Brown
Ooh, the Colts is loaded, boy.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay, now we got Tennessee.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, that's about even. That's about even.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay, that's about even. Let's go to the afc, the AFC West.
Antonio Brown
The Broncos is a different ball game. The Chargers, it's a different ball game. Kansas City, ball game.
Chad Ochocinco
The Raiders.
Nicotine Pouches Warning Announcer
Yeah.
Antonio Brown
Okay, we back even again.
Chad Ochocinco
Okay. AFC East. So now you got the Patriots, different ball game.
Antonio Brown
Buffalo in a class of their own.
Chad Ochocinco
Jets in Miami.
Antonio Brown
All right, we back even.
Chad Ochocinco
So, so you got 16 teams. You tied even with four of them. So 12 teams, you got. You got 12 teams better than yours.
On! Plus Nicotine Pouches Advertiser
Yeah.
Antonio Brown
So, hey, totality. Now we can go position by position, position by position. There might be some areas where Cleveland might have better players at Pacific positions in every team.
Chad Ochocinco
Every team that we talked about, Joe, what do they have that's better than Cleveland?
Antonio Brown
Quarterback.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, every last one of those teams.
Antonio Brown
Listen, now, you go now. That's why. That's why I'm trying to nitpick now. If we go by positions now, we talk about Denzel Ward, we talk about the top three corner NFL that just. That's just one person, though, brother Jared Verse, who's now there taking. Who's taking over Miles Garrett.
Chad Ochocinco
I like it. I like them defensively.
Antonio Brown
Absolutely. Absolutely.
Chad Ochocinco
But guess what? They had a guy that got 23 sacks last year and they still couldn't make the playoffs. No matter how good your defense is, you can't overcome in offense. Your offense got to do something. Because guess what? If they keep throwing your ass back down the field, guess what's going to happen? Think about it. What you call them. Had five sacks. Didn't Miles Gadd have five sacks? And they got beat by 24 points.
Antonio Brown
The fact that he was getting all these sacks and the other team and they playing from behind. I don't understand. I don't understand. The team they're playing again doesn't even have to throw the ball and he's still getting sacks.
T-Mobile Terms Announcer
So.
Chad Ochocinco
So that. That's the thing. And, and the thing is, like, look, I wish desean nothing but the best, but it's just hard for me to see a scenario, guys, where he picks up and became what he became in 2020. I just don't see it. I don't. And I think he has to be that in order for them to got to be playoffs. Because those teams that we mentioned, those teams are good. Houston's loaded.
Antonio Brown
Crazy.
Chad Ochocinco
Houston. The. The. The.
On! Plus Nicotine Pouches Advertiser
The.
Chad Ochocinco
The Texans are loaded. If CJ If CJ can play. If CJ Plays like he did his rookie year, that's a Super bowl team.
Antonio Brown
So there was a.
Joe Johnson
Hold on.
Antonio Brown
Hey, Joe. Hey. That was a Super bowl team last year.
Chad Ochocinco
They defense until he laid. But you, boy, Ocho, you saw that man play.
Antonio Brown
I don't. Yeah, yeah.
Joe Johnson
What he throw like four picks?
Antonio Brown
Four or five. I. I think. I think also it also hurt Nico Collins sometimes.
Chad Ochocinco
He had three in the first half, I think.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Antonio Brown
Hey, hold on. They gonna be straight this year. Tank Dale coming back. I've been seeing some of the clips with Tankdale boy.
Chad Ochocinco
I saw him too. Yeah. Hey.
Joe Johnson
Hey.
Chad Ochocinco
I love David Montgomery. I love David Montgomery.
Antonio Brown
He been looking good, Petrie.
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, that deep. That defense gonna be rock every time, man. They defense outstanding.
Joe Johnson
Hey, they defense always a one. But C.J. stroud, he got the.
Chad Ochocinco
He can.
Joe Johnson
You don't have to put up a setup this year. He is.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, you're right. I don't know if we have a segment tonight and we talk about any of these rookie receivers, but it's four. I got on my Radar boy. Jesus Christ.
Joe Johnson
What's that?
Antonio Brown
Jordan Tyson over there is acting a fool over there in New Orleans. Carnell Tate is over there acting a fool in Tennessee. Tennessee, young bull. I don't know, Chad, I don't know. Is it Anthony Robinson out of Clemson? Am I saying his name right? That's over there with the commanders.
Joe Johnson
Who he cutting up?
Antonio Brown
Please chat, please. Hey, I done watched all. Had the people send me some of his one on ones and some of the seven on seven stuff.
Chad Ochocinco
He cutting up.
Antonio Brown
Jesus Christ. I think I'm saying his name right. Anthony Robinson. I think so. What he reminds me of. He looks like Amon Ross St. Brown. His route running, his ability to create separation his neck, you know, for manipulating the DB in front of him. Man, he looked nice and young bull over there in. Oh, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Antonio Williams. Hey, Antonio Williams. I'm probably. You'll probably see this clip, man. Bruh. Bruh, bro, you the real deal. There's no reason he should be the number three. Case closed, no questions asked. Antonio Williams. Sorry for butchering your name. I'm. I'm bad. I got excited for a minute but boy, you look good. You hear me? You look real good. And that young bull, Cyrus Allen over there in Kansas City.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard, I heard about him, man.
Joe Johnson
Listen.
Antonio Brown
Yeah, that, that. That's going to be another security blanket for Patrick Mahomes based on what I've seen from him as well. Man, them four, them four right there probably gonna come in. I think Concepcion is going to play well obviously in Cleveland. But those four right there onto about immediate impact day one. Welcome to the NFL.
Chad Ochocinco
I hope you right. No, I hope you right with Cleveland because I sure won't. Even if desean's not there, I want him. I want him to. I don't. I don't want him to be. I want him to have a couple of good years. A couple of good years. So this is not like, man, man, desean with this and then he just stepped off a cliff.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Put together a couple of good years. You can. Shador. I want Shador to get an opportunity to play and to show that he can play at this level and he can play at an elite level. Cuz he's been very good at every level that he's played at. You look at what he. He goes to Jackson State and he does good there and it's like. Well, yeah, but that's Jackson State.
Joe Johnson
Y.
Chad Ochocinco
He goes to Colorado and he turns that team around and it's it's only Colorado. All he does is win. And then everybody makes excuses for why he's winning and how he won't. At the end of the day, do you win?
Antonio Brown
Hey. Hey, Joe. You know who else you got to watch for, too, Unc?
T-Mobile User
Who?
Chad Ochocinco
That.
Antonio Brown
That goddamn Jacoby Lane over there in Baltimore.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, yeah.
Antonio Brown
Makai Lemon. I haven't seen much from Makai Lemon. I. You know, Philly doesn't put. Put out enough clips as opposed to the other teams, but, man, all I
Chad Ochocinco
see is Kansas City is a. What you call him, K9, hitting people with the ball.
Antonio Brown
He's fighting everybody, ain't he?
Joe Johnson
Yeah, yeah, I seen that, too. He said he hit too damn hard.
Antonio Brown
Hey, hold on. You saw the fight. You saw the fight with. With Miles Garrett. Not Miles Garrett, God damn. Kirk Cousins. And.
Chad Ochocinco
Oh, yeah. Oh, oh, yeah.
Antonio Brown
I ain't know somebody got that video, man.
Joe Johnson
I ain't see what happened.
Antonio Brown
He must. He must have touched. You know, you're not supposed to touch the quarterback. You never touch the quarterback. He probably flashed by him to know more than one time. And Kirk probably got frustrated, probably threw the ball at him or something. I hope somebody got to leak. They got to leak that clip. I got to see that.
Chad Ochocinco
We're going to talk about. We're going to talk about first Cousins later. Makai Lemon is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, so hopefully, hopefully he gets that rectified. They're going to be cautious with that because the last thing you want is a guy limping into the season. Yeah, yeah, don't worry about it. I mean, you. You took the guy with the first. First round draft pick, so obviously you have very high expectations. You know what he's more than capable of doing, man. Don't be fooling around with that, because that's the last thing. You don't want that.
Antonio Brown
And I hate the fact. I hate the fact that people are getting hurt in training camp, not training camp. I hate. I hate that, man.
Joe Johnson
Like, hey, that mean they first off. That mean they going extra hard. Okay, Ocho? And if, you know, you got a lot of guys, man, who use training camp to get in shape.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, you can't do that.
Antonio Brown
You can't do that.
Chad Ochocinco
You couldn't do that back then.
Antonio Brown
You can't do that, man.
Chad Ochocinco
Well, back in. Back in the 80s, Joe, they would go to. They would go to camp for like 812 weeks.
Joe Johnson
Long time. Damn.
Chad Ochocinco
So, yeah, you had time. So you had time to do it? Nah, hell no. With the kind of money that they paying You. And with the kind of money that they pay these guys now, Ocho, why would you not want to be in shape?
Joe Johnson
You know what it is?
Chad Ochocinco
I mean, for the most part, your top guy. I mean. I mean, the average salary got to be like $3 million a year, probably. When you take. When you take the minimum Set the minimum salary and all the way to the top, you condense it down, it's got to be like $3 million on show.
Joe Johnson
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
As do me a favor. Look at what the minimum salary. What? The average salary of the NFL. It's got to be like two and a half, $3 billion. Gotta be, man, you know how. Because ain't nobody making. Making no $60,000 like I did when I came with the league. Hell, everybody making 3, 400,000 at least. Hell, practice squad guys, Ocho, making 10, 11,000 dollars a week.
Joe Johnson
Hey, man, you know how easy camp you. Damn.
Chad Ochocinco
5.2 million, Ocho. That is the average salary. You mean to tell me you couldn't hire a trainer with that? Ocho, you could hire you a nice trainer even if you wanted to, Ocho. You could get you a chef for 150, $200,000 to cook for you in the off season.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, to get.
Chad Ochocinco
Get your butt in shape and a trainer. So I spent. So, Ocho, if somebody told you, say, ocho, I'm gonna give me 350,000, I'm gonna. the end of the year, I'll give you 5.2 million. Would you do that?
Antonio Brown
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I do that, huh? I do that, huh? But, hey, one thing. One thing, you ain't got to worry about me is coming in his shape because, hell, I don't even play it. I ain't stopped moving yet, Joe. I got to be doing something, boy.
HIV Prevention PSA Speaker
Yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
Hey, man, that's what I don't get.
Joe Johnson
It makes a world of a difference when you go into camp. In shape, already in camp, easy.
Antonio Brown
You know, I think. I think most of the receivers come in shape anyway because they spend the off season, they always doing something. They always doing something. They take them a little break. They.
T-Mobile User
They.
Antonio Brown
Especially the elite ones, they take them a little break, you know, but talking about working, all of them post their workout stuff, and half of them work out here in Miami throughout the whole. The whole off season.
Chad Ochocinco
Yeah, I push myself.
Joe Johnson
Yeah, they. Hey, hey, hey.
Chad Ochocinco
They need camp. I need camp to be easy. I need camp to be a breeze. So I'm going to push myself in the off season, get plenty. I'm gonna get plenty of rest. Stay hydrated. Hydration is a big thing because you'll pull your yo if you got something weak or if something that's not hydrated properly. Muscles not hydrated.
Antonio Brown
Something gonna pull.
Joe Johnson
Don't worry, you're gonna tweak something. Yeah, yeah.
Chad Ochocinco
It doesn't always. Sometimes it'll start tingling. You're like, okay, let me back this thing off. I'm done for the day. Let me go get hydrated. Hey, let me get a massage. Let me ice this thing for a couple of days and see where I'm at in a couple of days. Sometimes that thing just like, ah, see, you weren't doing what you supposed to. So I got to get you now. Yeah, I got to get you now.

PREP stands for pre exposure prophylaxis and it means routinely taking prescription medicine before you're exposed to HIV to help reduce your chances of getting it.
