Deebo Samuel
Hey, Aaron Rodgers and his Steelers teammates did a. What they call he last. He, he, he, he framed it as last rodeo photo shoot to cap off the final season for him. Joe, we got a slideshow here. Joe, I want to go through these real quick. It's nine. Nine of them. We go, we go, we go one at a time. Give me the first.
Joe
Yes, sir. We got. We got fire. Move. We got dk, we got Mace. All the other side, we got Pittman. Who's my man with. Who's the. I don't see y'.
Michael Buble
All.
Joe
Don't get me naming everybody.
Deebo Samuel
Listen, listen. I don't know.
Joe
Is that a rod in the blue.
Deebo Samuel
A rod in the white shirt. I thought, I gotta make that. I gotta make that bigger.
Joe
No way.
Deebo Samuel
Gotta make that bigger. Hold up.
Joe
They out there kicking it right here. They are. They're kicking it on the ranch.
Deebo Samuel
Let me look at it right here so I could. So I could see it. So I can see it a little bigger. Oh, yeah. Aaron in the blue hoodie. Like. Look at that right there, bro. That background. I don't know if that's his or not. I don't know if that's his or not. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Right, Got that paper. Now look here, man. If that, if that's his, that's where I want to be. Hey, Rob, Holla at your boy. That's yours right there. I need to get on down there now. That's my dream. Okay. That's my dream right there. I don't. That's. That's all I ever. My guy is embracing his last go around here. Dude, what's the next one? Go to the next one. Listen, right here. He's sitting on the horse. This one right here we go. I don't know about this shirt. That's.
Joe
That's. Yeah. What you let that man live, man. That's Yellowstone. A rod.
Deebo Samuel
Hey, the horse. Yes. The shirt. I don't know.
Joe
I wouldn't have picked the shirt, but you know what I'm saying.
Deebo Samuel
To the next one.
Joe
Hey, Rod Cooler, what we got there?
Deebo Samuel
Hey, horses. I'm all with it. Hey, that horse. That horse got a Boom. He, man, see the muscles? Pop them up.
Joe
Yes.
Deebo Samuel
Muscles popping up off them horses, boy. Like, that's what I Like, that's what I want mine to look like, Joe.
Joe
Just like, oh, is it. Is it. Is it genetics or them horses? Y' all just what they feed them. They working out, boy.
Deebo Samuel
I don't know, man. I don't know. Listen, that. That. Who's sitting on that one that got that black mane? He looked nice. He looked nice, though. Going to the next one.
Joe
I ain't jumping on those.
Deebo Samuel
Going to the next one. Hey, now, look here. I ain't tripping.
Mangesha
I.
Deebo Samuel
Listen, listen, Joe, I ain't tripping.
Joe
Steroids, okay?
Deebo Samuel
I don't know. I. You could tell me maybe, you know, maybe you could zoom in on it or something. I don't know who in the middle, but that dude right there. Yeah, he looked like he in a real live Western.
Joe
Yes, he dressed. Yes.
Deebo Samuel
Bro, I didn't seen him in a movie.
Joe
Yes, yes, I swear. That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about. Pittman over Pittman to the right. He. He looked like. He looked like a rancher. He got the shirt tucked in with the. With the belt.
Deebo Samuel
Shirt tucked in. I want to see less, like, hip on that. I see more. A little. Little more turn. I don't know, a little dk, my man Sue. Maybe two steps. Two step. Hey, you see. You see. Hey, you see DK clean, though?
Joe
DK clean.
Deebo Samuel
See DK clean. He ain't realized he was business around there. Riding the horse business.
Joe
Around the horse business and cowboy business. Slash cowboy.
Deebo Samuel
No, that. He was straight business cowboy.
Joe
Yeah.
Deebo Samuel
Okay, okay, now. Now, look here. They playing the role real hard because, my man, they got cigarettes in their hands.
Joe
You on a rod ranch, a rod
Deebo Samuel
and DK got cigarette in their hand. Hey, I used to. I used to.
Joe
That's how you dress, dude.
Deebo Samuel
I used to get a cigarette. I didn't smoke.
Joe
Did you hold it?
Deebo Samuel
But I used to get a cigarette from. From somebody in the. In the locker room. You know who I'm talking about?
Joe
Yeah.
Deebo Samuel
I'll be like, hey, man, give me. Give me one of them squares, man. I'm about to go out here and smoke they ass. Or we would fake smoke cigarettes in a locker room. We had problems, bruh. You did problems, bro. Go to the next one. Hey, I believe this is his. It got to be his joke. It gotta be.
Joe
It gotta be. Yeah.
Deebo Samuel
That's why Friar Move wasn't in the picture. When they was cleaned up, he had on some flip flops.
Joe
He's chilling right now. Now they had the campfire.
Deebo Samuel
Yeah, I can't. I can't wear no flip flops out there in no grass like that.
Joe
Yeah, me either.
Deebo Samuel
Not like that. And it's, you know, it's bugs out there too.
Joe
No, he. Yeah, fire move. Ain't tripping. He. Cool with elements.
Deebo Samuel
Be cool with the elements.
Joe
Be cool with elements.
Deebo Samuel
Hit the next one we got there. Yo, what they doing right here, Joe?
Joe
I would think they're trying to go get some honey.
Deebo Samuel
It should be the. Oh, yeah, it is.
Joe
It looked like they. Yeah, that's look like a little b. Like a little bees thing. But if. If that was me, I will have to have on the whole hazmat.
Deebo Samuel
I'm not playing with no bees.
Joe
I'm. I'm going. I'm going. If I got. If I got the astronau mat joint
Deebo Samuel
on, bro, if I get stung by,
Joe
I'm going over there. I'm not going over there with my hands exposed. Like my man to the left that looks like he just did it for the picture. If I'm going over there and rocking with the bees, with them this full blown. I'm had that fool. That suit right there.
Deebo Samuel
You foolish.
Joe
You know what I'm saying? See, that. That's why. That's why I be. That's why things be happening at Debo to me, because I. I do it. If. If I had the full suit, not just the.
Deebo Samuel
The.
Joe
The headpiece.
Deebo Samuel
Listen. Hey, Rod, listen, man, I need an invite to this because I know it's yours. You got a buku bucks and all that land. Sure. I need to come out there, relax, have a good time out there. And. And. And then that's it. And then I'm gonna come back when you ain't there and you still use it. I'm just letting you know that right now you ain't got no. If you ain't got no security, no nothing out there. Like, even the security out there. Like, I ain't even tripping, though.
Mangesha
They go see.
Deebo Samuel
They go see us. Me and they probably go, let me in, right?
Joe
It is what it is. Yo. After this season, we can go out there because this is his farewell. He just. He's just trying to build team camaraderie right now.
Podcast Guest
Yes.
Joe
Bringing the squad out there. So right after this year, Debo, we got all the time in the world to go kick it out there at the ranch, man.
Deebo Samuel
Let me give him a call. I got. I got to get a hold of
Joe
and See what's going. Thousand percent. You're gonna be good.
Deebo Samuel
And what's going on over here, man? Oh, what's. What's going on right here, bro? Oh, why is Aaron Donald at the. Was spotted at the practice facility working out at the team's practice facility on Friday. Here, look at this, bro.
Joe
Like, oh, they got somebody.
Deebo Samuel
What are you doing there, bro? You know where security at.
Joe
What he could, bro. He lives the same way. Hey, listen, that camera during the off season that the same way the Steelers he can. He's.
Lele Pons
He.
Joe
Aaron Donald could have access to anybody's facility, but it's looking a little crazier when he going in there. If he had some. If he had.
Deebo Samuel
Well, your boy Miles Garrett posted this on his ig. What's going on, Joe?
Joe
Yeah, if I, If I'm. If I'm Miles Garrett, I'm signed to send out any. Any subliminals anything to make sure that letting them know that that yes. Is welcome. It was probably. Is maybe coming. Do you think it's coming?
Deebo Samuel
I don't know. I just. I just believe. I don't know why he's at the. It's. It's confusing me a little bit.
Joe
Yep.
Deebo Samuel
Okay. It's confused me a little bit because he had to practice facility. I know he got his own setup at the crib. Maybe he was there helping teach somebody some move because, you know, he was working with our dude Brisker saying maybe. Maybe that was something, you know, that, that, that, that he was doing. I mean, I've been to the Steelers facility. I done hit the, you know, I didn't hit the. I didn't hit the gym before, but I ain't took my ass on that field.
Joe
Aaron Donald been out there today?
Deebo Samuel
Well, Aaron Donald ain't been off off as long as I've been off, so it might be. He might want to, you know, that's part of the conditioning, part of the workout, part of the, you know, doing your workout. So I could see that. I can see that. But I believe AD to be a man of his word. He said. He said I don't have anything else to prove.
Joe
To prove he doesn't.
Deebo Samuel
I accomplished everything I wanted to. Okay. So if he come back and he win a championship, I don't think this is going to add any value to anything other than he got another championship. I don't. It's not. It's definitely not going to be more valuable to him or. Or mean more to him than the first one did. Because if you really look at it you know, I would say you're slightly stacking the deck, wouldn't you say, Joe? I'm just asking.
Joe
You said they slightly stacking the deck.
Deebo Samuel
I'm just saying.
Joe
I hear you, brother. I hear you.
Deebo Samuel
What you think?
Joe
I like you said, if he said he didn't want to come back, I don't. Aaron, he doesn't have nothing to prove. But being at the facility, like you said, is just a little. I don't know. Because he would go, Aaron Donald, when you work out, he can go. He would go to the. He would go to the Stiller's facility and work out, like during the off season sometimes.
Deebo Samuel
But that's, but that, that's not the Steelers facility.
Joe
No, it's not. It's the piss break because he lives
Deebo Samuel
in LA working out. He still, he wasn't on, on the Stillers fields. He was on Pitts fields. You know, it's a separation. The first two fields
Joe
we share the indoor, so that's the same field.
Deebo Samuel
Share the indoor, you share the indoor. He in the indoor.
Joe
You walking indoor. You walking indoor. Aaron Donald right there working, practicing on the same field.
Deebo Samuel
But he, he, he there for again.
Joe
Yes. He's not there for Pittsburgh. You're right. I know.
Deebo Samuel
Debo, ain't nothing over there. This ain't the Steelers facility. They don't share shit over there.
Joe
They make sure. You know what, Debo, you damn right. You right. Nobody with the Browns facility if they was from Cleveland. I ain't see too many people like my man from Cleveland come back home and go train at the Browns facility. My man Lattimore, the corner from what we talking about. I ain't never seen him come back there and train there. I didn't. You're right.
Deebo Samuel
I'm. I'm thinking he a man is where he ain't gonna come back. And then I'm thinking he's out there helping somebody try and learn something. He's teaching somebody something. And instead of going and going wherever, he's like, hey, I'm gonna be down here at the facility, man.
Joe
Yeah, I'll pull up. Yes, yes, yes.
Deebo Samuel
You know what I'm saying?
Joe
Yeah, that's okay. That's what we hoping. That's what you're hoping with.
Deebo Samuel
That's what I'm thinking.
Joe
That's what I'm thinking.
Deebo Samuel
I mean, he could be out there figuring out like, yo, testing the movement. How much film did they get? How much did they see him do? Whoever shooting, stay there and get some more video.
Joe
He got it. Look, they got somebody's doing some real camera crewing because they had somebody with the camera right there on them. So that. You know what. Who that is?
Deebo Samuel
Oh, maybe he was shooting. That's the Rams.
Joe
He could be shooting the commercial, shooting something.
Deebo Samuel
And they. That you. Hey, when. When we did the shoot with Diamond Gym, Stiller facility, we were shooting something. They let me in there. I talked to. I talked to the people I needed to. They got us in there smooth.
Joe
We're not gonna be there in this area. You, Aaron, Don, you know what you done did, what you done did for this spot, right?
Michael Buble
Y'.
Deebo Samuel
All. Y' all be. Y' all be trying to. Y' all be trying to dig in there too much. Y' all be thinking too hard. It ain't. It ain't even that serious, dude. It ain't even that serious. But why is Miles up here? Just. You know what Miles doing, man, he gassing. He
Joe
knows.
Deebo Samuel
What are you doing?
Joe
He just putting it out there. He would like it to happen.
Deebo Samuel
I know he would.
Joe
You know, and he's. He's actually unpacking furniture. You know what? Coincidentally, he unpacking. He got a friend. Yeah. Cause, you know, he moving to la. He unpacking his. He unpacking his. All of his stuff. He's hanging up his new jerseys in the spot. You know what I'm saying? He's like, oh, man, I'm back. I got an Aaron Donald. Look at this. The Rams. Jo.
Deebo Samuel
We play Aaron. Nobody else does it up but Aaron Donald.
Joe
No, no, no. It just happened to be.
Sam J
We.
Joe
He knows we talking about Aaron Donald right now, but the jersey, and it's right there. He knows what he's doing.
Podcast Guest
Yeah.
Deebo Samuel
You know what he doing, E? Getting. Getting stuff started.
Joe
Yes.
Deebo Samuel
Getting stuff started.
Joe
Exactly.
Deebo Samuel
Max Crosby says there is only one player on the field he cannot run down. Listen to this. Joe want to take a. Like, a really good pursuit angle. And for me, like, you know, that. That delusion in my head, you know, I'm like the quarterback besides Lamar Jackson. Like, I'm running down no matter what, so I just want to close as much ground as possible. Said I'm running his ass down no matter what. No matter what. Hey, he might. He might. Might be thinking that, you know, I think that might have been why he was going to Boston. Well, he didn't. It didn't work out. But, like, he was like, yo, I can run anybody down, and then the one that I can't run down as hell. I'm playing on the same team with it. Facts.
Joe
So who.
Deebo Samuel
Who's who's your. Who's your hardest tackle?

I'm mungeshit together and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive. This time I'm diving into a rabbit hole of peptides, organoids, blood boys, blue zones, and brain replacement to try to understand what this longevity obsession is all about and what it really means to live forever for all of us. I learned about some rad science.
Lele Pons
I can make a brain for you. And then we can test what drug is the best for your brain as opposed to his brain.
Mangesha
Here's some hard truths.
Joe
I would expect Indians to age faster, but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year

Lele Pons

Listen to Skyline Drive, how to live Forever on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Joe
I, I, I. Lamar Jackson. Yeah, Lamar Jackson. Lamar Jackson, when he got to the NFL and we started playing him, I thought he could play wide receiver, like in my mind, because I'm. When the way that he runs, how fast he is, how twitchy he is, and his vision of. It's not even like he sees the whole field. He acts like, like Le'Veon Bell, for example, when he gets into, when Lamar Jackson gets into the open field and Antonio Brown, he sees you and he acts like he doesn't see you. And when dudes are doing that, they're setting you up for the dead leg and when quarterback is like that fast and that like twitchy where he can run, he can dead leg me, he can really like stop his feet and then take off. It's really like, you gotta look at him like the same way you're tackling a running back, the same way you're angle tackling Odell Beckham or Antonio Brown. Once they catch that slant, he can make you miss and take it to the. Take it to the house so you just don't come out like the bigger, bigger quarterbacks. You see what you're going to tackle. You know, you're going to have to. You're going to feel something. You're going to have to wrap his legs up, but you're not going. He's not going to make you miss. He's not going to make you look silly. Lamar Jackson is acting like he doesn't see you, but he's setting you up the whole time. So I'm like just having that like, oh, no, he's looking, boom. That's why the lineman, he's able to spin around because he's, he knows where everybody's at and he's quick and he's fast. So when he's saying that, I'm like, yes, because Lamar Jackson will get through the middle. And now I'm running my hardest to try to catch him. He's like, same speed, but if he give me a little heat and he's twitchy so he has me settle my feet and then take off, stop and go, I might look nuts. And he could take it to the. Like this Dan Joe, that's the quarterback. I'm like, no, that's.
Deebo Samuel
I mean, not Baltimore. Cincinnati.
Joe
Yes, bro. That's real crazy. Not every, not quarterbacks can do that.
Deebo Samuel
You ever played against Vic?
Joe
I played against Vic when she was.
Deebo Samuel
I ain't playing against before the, before the incident.
Joe
I ain't playing. I ain't play against the Falcon.
Deebo Samuel
I didn't play against before the incident either. But yes, I'm trying to tell you, bro, all that, bruh. I used to sit there and I'd be like, I don't know how they go, how they gonna tackle that boy, Man, I don't even know how they gonna tackle that boy.
Joe
Right? Yes, it's the. I'm like, bro, you put the ball into. When I was like, Michael Vick, he. Oh, down goes Vito. But Michael Vick is the reason why I started playing football because he was the first one that could really like when I saw Virginia Tech playing vs. Florida State back in the day my camera.
Deebo Samuel
What happened?
Joe
Your camera went out, Coach. I can hear you.
Deebo Samuel
Am I back? No. I wonder what happened. All right, go ahead, keep talking, Joe. I got you.
Joe
All right, go ahead, get right.
Deebo Samuel
Hear me? So I guess that's. That's. That's gonna have to work for right now, I guess.
Joe
No, but Michael Vick, when I was watching him at Virginia Tech, and that's what made me want to be a quarterback when I was little, because I was like, man, he can be an athlete. So they always. Best player on the team is going to just get the ball in his hands all the time, no matter what, even if he's really good at throwing. But Vick is. Is the best athlete on the team as far as, like, Lamar Jackson, too. But he can actually throw and he can really play like wide receiver, where he can make people miss and get up the field. A lot of quarterbacks like that, they're not just as twitchy like. So Lamar Jackson and Michael Vick setting people up, looking down the field, dead legging and all of that legitimate ball can be punt returners. Do you know what I'm saying? But at the same time are legit quarterbacks. Like, that's where I'm like Lamar Jackson for show. My hardest quarterback I ever had to tackle because he's nobody. Nobody was that twitchy.
Deebo Samuel
Yeah, I don't. I. I ain't trying to chase nobody down, though. I'm trying. I'm trying not to let him get past me. So that's y' all for the chase?
Joe
Yes, man. I'm. He's running.
Deebo Samuel
I'm trying not to let them get past me. Yo, the Sea Ato Seahawks are being sold for the highest sell valuation in NFL franchise history at 9.6 billion, led by 49ers Limited Partner. What is that? The. Okay, whatever that name is. What's that name? Vinod Khosla.
Joe
No, Khosla.
Deebo Samuel
No, Khosla. Khosla is purchasing the Seahawks for. From the estate of Paul Allen, the former team owner who passed away in 2018. The Allen Estate sold the Trailblazers in March, and at a reported value of 4 billion, Khosla will have to sell his. I guess he got 3.1% stake in the 49ers. I was about to say, because when they said the 49ers owner bought the Seattle, I'm like, how can you own teams that don't even sound right. That sounds like a conflict of interest. Anyway, Seattle now has the second most expensive sale and just under the Lakers at 10 billion. Followed by the Celtics at 6.1 billion. The Commanders is 6.05 billion and the Broncos at 4.65 billion. Hey, Joe, deserve you believe the Seahawks are worth 9.6 billion, bro, I believe
Joe
they're going to be worth whatever the check whenever somebody writes the check. So if somebody's coming and going to they sell it and it pays for $9.6 billion, then that's going to be the new market. So I. That, that's what I believe, Devo.
Deebo Samuel
Joe.
Joe
Yes.
Deebo Samuel
If the Seahawks is worth 9.6 billion.
Joe
Yes, they are.
Deebo Samuel
Because that's what they're being sold for.
Joe
Yes.
Deebo Samuel
Would it get sold for? Would somebody is willing to pay for it is what. Okay.
Joe
That's what it's worth.
Deebo Samuel
They just. I just seen a car that was sold for like 30, 34, 35 million dollars. It was like some type of. Maybe it was a Porsche or, or, or Ferrari or something. It was an old car though, but it was like 30 I think they was at. When I saw it was like 34, 5. 34 million 500. And then somebody 35 and the whole crowd said, hey, trying to figure out who got $35 million to throw at a damn car and not even think about it. Anyway. Yeah, nine point. That's what it's worth. That's what they getting.
Joe
Yes.
Deebo Samuel
I want to see if that's the value. Everybody else's value got to go up.
Joe
Yes. Debo. A thousand percent.
Deebo Samuel
So what do you think the Steelers is worth?
Joe
We won't go 12. Like 11 at least. 11 gotta be. Gotta be. So like you're going to the Seahawks when, when, when, when they sell, then that's just. That shows that the NFL, they know what they're going to be able to get from the new future deal.
Deebo Samuel
Right.
Joe
All that stuff coming up. So the valuation is only fan base, all that. Now the other teams, when they're getting ready to start selling 18. Everybody's evaluation went up the same way when the next contract went up. When the dudes are selling when the next deal comes and somebody gets now resets the. That's what the new market is. So you can start getting into how these teams like this, what it sold for. These are what the contracts that we have coming in with these TV deals like we're up. So that's why it's hard to get in there. You say who has not. They know. Some people do. Deebo. It's the percentage like the 0.0 percenters that really can make these moves. Like it's What's a lot to us may not be a lot to another person. So, like, these. I think end of the day, the teams, they're getting. They're getting up there, I think all teams are going to be worth up over 10, like around $10 billion.
Deebo Samuel
$9.612 billion.
Joe
And then you look at the real estate, like Seattle, see how much the prices cost in there. And then they're talking about the state, all that stuff.
Deebo Samuel
So what you think the Browns is worth? Probably three or four. Bill.
Joe
No. No way. You talking.
Deebo Samuel
No. Oh, I didn't think it was that much either. Would you.
Joe
Way more than that.
Deebo Samuel
How much?
Joe
I'm gonna find out right now because I know. Mr. That's what the Haslam. Mr. Haslam, he was part of. He was a part owner of the Steelers. He had to sell his steak when he bought.
Deebo Samuel
He chose wrong.
Joe
He bought the Browns.
Deebo Samuel
He chose wrong. He chose wrong. Look at that. Look at that decision he made.
Joe
That's a. Well, it said about six right now, the Brown. The Cleveland Browns value at approximately 6.4 billion.
Deebo Samuel
6.4. Okay, that must be the lowest in. Everybody must be at 6, 7 or better, right?
Joe
No, it's about 18th.
Deebo Samuel
18th?
Joe
Y.
Deebo Samuel
That's crazy. Oh, I will give it to you. Y' all got a fan base. That's the loser.
Joe
Fan base is amazing.
Deebo Samuel
And love losing. And they keep saying, who's the lowest?
Joe
Just know that.
Deebo Samuel
Who's the lowest?
Joe
Who's the lowest?
Deebo Samuel
Yeah. If y' all 18, who the lowest? Because I don't think it's too many other organizations that's worse than y'. All. I'm just, you know, I'm just thinking. Talking a lot.
Joe
All right, we got the Cowboys at one.
Deebo Samuel
Oh, Cowboys got to be at one. Jerry Jones got a stadium. They gave him.
Joe
They said Rams at 2, Cowboys and won 13 billion. Rams 10.5. Giants 10.1 because it's in New York. The Patriots, 9 billion.
Deebo Samuel
Where we at?
Joe
Hold on. And 49ers. Look, see, the valuation was. The 49ers was at 8.6. They sold for 9.6. Eagles evaluated 8.3. Bears 8.2. Jets 8.1. Vegas 7.7. Commanders 7.6.
Deebo Samuel
I ain't here still as yet, boy.
Joe
That's what I'm trying to get to. Hold up, bro.
Deebo Samuel
Stop playing with me, bro.
Joe
I ain't lying to you.
Deebo Samuel
Stop playing with me, bro.
Joe
This was Forbes.
Deebo Samuel
Forbes. I know what the hell they talking about.
Joe
Forbes. I gotta find them, man.
Deebo Samuel
The still is going for sale. They going for 20 billion.
Joe
20 billion they gonna go for? I think 20, at least 10.
Deebo Samuel
20 billion.
Joe
You think if the cow.
Deebo Samuel
If the Cowboys and we getting a new stadium, we ain't sharing a facility, none of that. 20 billion,
Joe
20 Bs. Okay, here we go. We got Commander 7, 6, 11. Dolphins, 12, Houston 7.4, Denver 6.8.
Deebo Samuel
Bro, they. Stop playing with me. Bro, stop playing with me.
Joe
They got the Steelers at number 17 right over the Browns. They got the Steelers at 6.5 and the Browns 6.4. There you go. All that talking
Deebo Samuel
evaluation don't mean a damn thing.
Joe
It don't mean the damn thing. That's why I told you until it sells. So when they right.
Deebo Samuel
Cause y' all not gonna sell for that price.
Joe
I'm telling you, if they saying the Steelers evaluating 6.5, this still is not valuing that. If the stills were to sell, I was. I think you close to like 10. 10? Bit 10 at least try 10 because they had the Seattle Seahawks evaluated at right here.
Deebo Samuel
Man, I'm done with this.
Joe
6.7.
Deebo Samuel
I ain't talking about that no more. This is a bad list.
Joe
No, I'm saying.
Deebo Samuel
I don't want to hear it no more.
Sam J
Bye.
Deebo Samuel
Who last?
Joe
All you need to know is this valuation you ain't even got.
Deebo Samuel
Who last?
Joe
Cincinnati Bengals. Cincinnati Bengals. Yes. 5.2. Because they're cheap. 5.25. But that's like. Now I'm saying cheap about. That's crazy.
Deebo Samuel
That's still 5 billion, though.
Joe
That's still 5 billion. I'm saying I can't last. I'm saying 5 billion cheap. There I go talking crazy. I want.
Deebo Samuel
Hey, I put that on my petty cat cash fund. You understand? Y' all put it out. My petty cash fund.
Joe
Put out. The petty cash fund is, you know,
Deebo Samuel
hey, listen, let's get you. Man, we running out of time. Hey, they said your boy LeBron James, according to an NBA insider. They say he is expected to make a decision regarding his free agency this coming week. Joe.
Sam J
Yes.
Deebo Samuel
Where is your guy going?
Joe
I hope he goes back to the land. I hope he goes back to the land. And I think that would be a perfect fit. That would be a perfect ending to the story. Same way, like it's always the end at home. Brian, you love it there. You from Akron. You don't owe anybody nothing. You don't have to do anything. But my humble opinion, for you to go play from the crib with your son at the games, you was holding the man.
Deebo Samuel
Hey, watching you do it. You asked me.
Joe
You asked Me. And then soon I get.
Deebo Samuel
He gonna be playing there with his son, huh? Stop playing with me, LeBron. Go, Bronnie, go.
Joe
Bring LeBron with you. You know what I'm saying? Just so he could just be the nice closing chapter. And I would love that. Everybody.
Deebo Samuel
Let me stop you for a minute right now.
Joe
Like, you could put up a. And it's still a chance that we could win.
Deebo Samuel
Joe. Joe, I'll stop you right now, and then I'll bring Debo.
Joe
Deebo, don't you. Look, this is good for you, both of us people.
Deebo Samuel
Is your status gonna look like you'll
Joe
be going to the game back?
Sam J
We'll be.
Deebo Samuel
Who? Who? Brownie coming back. And now I'm playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers with my father. Hey, man, where is his other son? Ain't he coming out?
Joe
He got one more year. He's in Arizona.
Deebo Samuel
Look, why we go play?
Joe
Let my boy. Let.
Deebo Samuel
I'm going. Listen, it ain't we, but I'm gonna say. You want him to come to Cleveland with me. I just want him to come to Cleveland because I want him to finish off where he started at. He right there.
Podcast Guest
Home.
Deebo Samuel
Ak Rowdy. Rowdy. West side, Summer County. But I want him to go with the three piece. Wait for your other son and go three.
Joe
All three sons. Look, he's taking Bronny there now, so him and Bronnie coming right now. His son has another year at least in college, so then next year, when Bronny got his feet wet, then he just gonna get. Get drafted there. If he's not ready to get drafted, we just sign him through a free agency the same way. Giannis got his whole family on the squad. You think Ron not gonna be able to bring both kids?
Deebo Samuel
Hey, no, hold up, though. This gonna be history, man. He gonna have two sons.
Joe
That's what I'm telling you. Two sons. Two. Yeah. So that. That. That. That's. That's. That's number one. That's number one. That'S number one. Bron, stand up. If you come back to the land, you already know Deebo. And this tell. It's good for me. What's good for me is good for you. We're going to the games. I'm bringing you to. I'm bringing you to. I'm bringing you to Rocket.
Lele Pons
Joe.
Deebo Samuel
Bringing me to the game, y'. All. Joe, bring me.
Joe
You gonna be like this? Oh, I'm a fan. Cause there's love in there. It's love in there.
Deebo Samuel
I could do it. I could do. I ain't Got it?
Joe
I'm telling you, it.
Michael Buble
Yeah.
Deebo Samuel
Only because there's no Pittsburgh basketball team.
Joe
That's what I'm trying to. Look, open your heart. The professional basketball team is there fighting. Real team. Real team. So go ahead, man. We done got another. We done got you, Debo.
Michael Buble
And we.
Joe
If Bron comes back, you're gonna have so much fun. This is gonna just add another thing. You'd be fishing, you'll be hunting, you'll be doing everything. And now, you know what? You be going to the Cavs games, which with your co host. You know what I'm saying, Joe? Having a blast watching Braun and Bronnie.
Deebo Samuel
Come on, man. What's his young son's name? What's his young son's name? Bryson.
Joe
Bryce. Bryce. Bron. Bronnie and Bryce.
Deebo Samuel
Yes.
Joe
Come on.
Deebo Samuel
Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah. It ain't gonna be this year coming, but it's gonna be the year after that.
Joe
Come on, man. I'm here for all of that. I'm here for all of that.
Deebo Samuel
Bring his ass back home. Because this is where they go. Let you get that. Get that three piece. You go to Miami, they. They might not be so understanding and kind.
Joe
Look, I see. Yes. If. Look, Cleveland broad. We let you bring in anybody you like. Literally, for sure. Definitely. Bronnie. He's welcome. Because Bronnie got skills. Bryce, we're going to sign him regardless. Because I know he's. He's the son. He's the son of the.
Deebo Samuel
Listen. That's what it's called. That is a given.
Joe
And that's my man.
Deebo Samuel
And you can't give me. You can't give me my son.

I'm Mangesha together and I'm back with a new season of the podcast Skyline Drive.
Mangesha
Here are some hard truths.
Joe
I would expect Indians to age faster, but I did not expect it to be almost a four to five year
Mangesha
acceleration and get myself into a world of trouble.
Deebo Samuel
I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined.
Sam J
They say it works.

championship.
Joe
You can't put him in the G and see. At least, at least put him in the G. If he can't, if he ain't ready. Let me see, let me see. Put him in the G. Yep, that's what I do.
Deebo Samuel
Goodness, they don't even understand, bro.
Joe
Let's go halves. Let's go, Cats.
Deebo Samuel
Hey, hey.
Joe
That's a little strong. It's a little strong. All right. I was gonna wait.
Deebo Samuel
Let's wait until we, you know, we figure out exactly where it's at, what's going on, you know, And I mean,
Joe
you can only ever go Cavs, but the only mission. So look, that's what I want to happen. It's there and then the next pitch. He's going to the Yams. If it's not there, he's going to Miami.
Deebo Samuel
If it's not there, he going to Miami, man.
Joe
If it ain't. If it ain't that, he going there, he going.
Deebo Samuel
So we ain't going to Miami, though. You'll take me up to that dirt ass Cleveland. You ain't gonna take me to Miami.
Joe
Don't see.
Deebo Samuel
Don't what? The disrespect.
Joe
You ain't never been in Rocketmore. The stadium is fire, Debo. You'd be like, I'm telling you, you just be talking so down. You ain't even. You ain't never really even kicked it into Cleveland, like the way you like, like you where you need.
Deebo Samuel
I gotta be careful in Cleveland, man. I'M up in there.
Joe
That's what I'm telling you.
Deebo Samuel
Cleveland place. I go with three guns, Joe.
Joe
Wow. Triple barrel. I know where we could go where you don't need none of this.
Deebo Samuel
I'm just telling you, though, you gonna
Joe
get nothing but smiles and vibes.
Deebo Samuel
I'm just telling you. They still. They still looking for me for what I did to Masakai Cribs, so, you know. See, I'm surprised they even let you back after you went over there and came over here to.
Joe
No, they all. You know what I'm saying. They let me know. They let me know. But, you know, I let them. Look, I always tell them, I say, listen, each individual person that comes, I'm saying, look, if somebody. If somebody fired from you, from your job, would you go get other employment? Yes.
Lele Pons
No.
Joe
Yes. No. I just not work at all.
Deebo Samuel
I would not do that. I wouldn't go nowhere, Joe. I would not work. I would just go.
Joe
Talking about you. You been playing every other team but the Browns in the. In the div. Like you went to the Page.
Deebo Samuel
But I ain't never went to the
Joe
play for the Mangles. But you ain't playing for the Browns, so that's fine.
Deebo Samuel
You gonna go to play for the Patriots.
Joe
They don't like the Patriots. The Steelers don't like the Patriots. More than that.
Deebo Samuel
Hey, man, them was burning my jersey up.
Mangesha
Yeah.
Joe
Cause they.
Deebo Samuel
I appreciate y' all doing that because I know y' all went back and got another one. Because I got to check for the jerseys after y' all had to go back and get another one.
Joe
That's why all them nine twos, you can't find them. They was buying them up, setting them up. Get him out of here.
Deebo Samuel
Hey, y' all go ahead. Get that Michelin s now. You know what I'm saying?
Joe
Hey, that's a fact.
Deebo Samuel
The 40 order, 43. You know what I'm saying? The black or the white, you know, model or both, you know, Man. So I guess Darren Peterson was watching Ed Reed's tape on, like, better defense. Listen to this. I don't understand it. I think he a Hooper.
Joe
He's a. He's the second pick in the draft.
Podcast Guest
We watched this morning, actually. So he called out some things, like I said yesterday, like with the defense and box office and stuff. So we've seen eye to eye on that. And we also watched some. I forget his name. Some defense player on. On the Ravens. Like, he said, I need to be like this on defense. Like someone. I forget his name. Is it. I Might be around. I don't want to get around. Is it Ed Reed? Maybe through Ravens? Yeah. We watched him on film today. He said that's just one of his favorite athletes and he's just like a safety. So he said I just need to be like that aware and that light on my feet on defense, just trying to make plays.
Joe
This just makes me feel old.
Deebo Samuel
No, no, no, no, no. Who's telling him this?
Joe
He's the second pick in the draft in the NBA draft.
Deebo Samuel
So who was telling him about Ed Reid and Shawnee film?
Joe
Probably his coach or something. Just saying that he needs to just be aware who is his coach.
Deebo Samuel
No, no, no, no. Hell no. Joe. Joe. I don't know. I don't even listen. You tell me. Basketball player. He's the second pick. He the second pick of draft overall pick.
Joe
Yes.
Deebo Samuel
Okay, fire.
Joe
Now you telling me he's 19 years old.
Deebo Samuel
Take your second pick of the draft that you have as a DB coach, and you're going to tell him as a football player to go watch this basketball player. And I want you to look at what he does and. And. And be like him. That. That don't. I don't think that translates well. When you're using a player in a totally different sport, it's a whole different set of things that you got to do. Basketball, you got to learn how to flop. Football, you can't do that shit. So you're going to tell me like you're gonna. I don't see how that translates, bro. I'm not gonna take my player and show him a player in another sport. And I want you to be like him. How. How does that translate? I want. I'm gonna get a player that I see you being like Or. Or you could be better than and say, hey, this is where I look. How he moves here, how he does this there.
Joe
Yeah.
Deebo Samuel
How does Ed re closing down on somebody passing the ball 40 yards and he faking like he going this way? What are you gonna do? Fake like he playing defense this way and then fake off this?
Lele Pons
What?
Joe
I understand what you're saying, Debo, about him watching the tape, bro.
Deebo Samuel
I need to see the clips he showed me.
Joe
I could see if he was saying with like, make it like a basketball player that you want him to. He's talking about just the knowledge of just showing. Showing one thing. You know what I'm saying?
Deebo Samuel
How he know the knowledge of what? This dude don't even. Probably. He don't even know who the hell Ed Reid is. So he damn sure don't know about football.
Joe
I. I understand what you're saying.
Deebo Samuel
How's that gonna translate for him? Who understand.
Joe
Yes. The coach needed to bring it to the. The basketball player that is above the mind. Say, LeBron James. Just intellectual. If you're saying. What'd you say?
Deebo Samuel
Somebody please tell me who that coach is. Who. Who the coach that told him to go look at Ed Reed to be more like Ed Reed on the basketball field.
Joe
Who the coach.
Deebo Samuel
You hit somebody in basketball, like Air Reed be hitting somebody. It's so weird.
Joe
No, he was saying about, like, just how coach. He wasn't talking about hitting people.
Deebo Samuel
Okay, so what is he saying?
Joe
He was talking about just the mental. How he kind of knew where he wanted to go. How he was like, playing with the minds of the quarterback, like, leaning one way, doing something. Just being.
Deebo Samuel
You can't show a basketball player doing something like that. I understand that is going to translate. That's what basketball.
Joe
That would have been better.
Deebo Samuel
You could play this side all the way over here.
Joe
That would have been better.
Deebo Samuel
This point over here and think you go. Go across the whole field and get a ball. It ain't even got 40 yards to be thrown.
Joe
Deebo, I understand what you're saying, because there's no. With the watching of the tape, we need to watch somebody doing the basketball stuff that you're saying above the neck of knowing what play is coming and being able to, like, lean some way and already hinged on the screen, like, telling somebody what's going to happen before it happens. Because you've been studying their offensive tape of what's going to happen. You seeing that is showing him a defensive player that you've been watching in the NBA do it at a high level. I understand what you're saying completely. What kind of just made it, like, even worse is like, he's 19, they're young. He don't even know who Ed Reid is. So that's why I'm like. You're saying. I'm like, why would you. This basketball player, the second overall pick, he's so great. Show him a basketball player.
Deebo Samuel
Yes.
Joe
Great at doing the above. The next stuff that you're talking about Ed Reid doing, like, I'm completely with you on that. Like, Deebo, trust me, I see what he was trying to do, but I'm like, that doesn't like, he's a basketball player. And then it just made me look and feel crazy because I'm like, damn, he don't even know who Air Reid is. Like. So now we got him watching some Dudes and he's talking about Ed Reid. I'm like, that's one of the best safeties to ever do it. So I don't know. Our coach would be. If you just throwing out knowledge. He's thinking, coach is saying, oh, Ed Reid. He's thinking. Everybody knows. I'm like, coach, no, you got a slow. Like don't you got your player. He's a BA. He's 19 years old. He don't know who to every. It is. And then showing him about football, him being above the neck and him being able to set up quarterbacks. Show him a professional basketball player doing what you want him to do above the neck because football and putting that into that. I like, I hear what you just say. Like his mental. He don't have to study tape on that to know how his mental is of like studying the film and just progressing stuff. Study film on basketball or what you're actually doing. If somebody that does that above the neck and how he knows what's happening before it happens. So I'm 1000% with you, but I'm just like, God, it just look crazy because when he don't know Aaron Reed and coach, you don't need to be. I, I get what you're saying, but don't do that. That's like, no, he's. He doesn't know.
Deebo Samuel
You. That would be like you telling me when I came into the league, go look at this basketball player and I want you to be like him. Like his, his, his demeanor or I don't, I don't even know his, his knowledge. I don't know what. Yeah. Is smart in the basketball games. I don't. It don't. I don't know. It's. I don't know if he's doing something smarter. If he's just a highly skilled player that is athletic enough to make it look like he's doing something smart.
Joe
They on in like some like point guards being able to control the flow of the game, being able to. They do actually like have plays. You know what I'm saying? So there's certain things where other teams do run plays on you and I've seen like defensive players that know and study basketball tape, knowing what's coming on, knowing what plays they're going to run. You know what I'm saying? So that is a real thing. But show it to him on a basketball guy.
Deebo Samuel
Yes.
Joe
Show them some plays where these dudes were aware and knew that the play was coming and were able to do something. You know what I'M saying to prevent it. You know what I'm saying? Like, showing somebody to how to stop a slant, like, because every is playing something off and then breaking down to the thing. I get it. But like.
Deebo Samuel
No, you don't, because I don't. You tell me how Air Reid breaking down to this slant translate to basketball.
Joe
Please tell me say how he. If he's leaning the other way, setting it up to make.
Deebo Samuel
When do they lean the other way in basketball, bro?
Joe
If they anticipate, they got. Man, do you. You're playing man to man with your foot in the lane. So you're kind of C man see ball.
Deebo Samuel
So you can know every turning his whole back away from a player to make it look like he's going this way. When he knows he has to get back around to it, he turns his back and spins all the way back through. Bro, you can't do that in basketball. Soon as you turn your back, he go take off.
Joe
You not exacts. Not word. Not one movement.
Deebo Samuel
Joe, listen. Hey, hey, y'. All, I ain't gonna get into these super chats because we ain't. We. We're out of time anyway. Okay, now, this is a British pound, okay? It's Pokemon card pulls. I guess this might have came in before we talked about it. It's five pounds. That's pounds. Okay, so that's like 500. That's like 500American, okay? No, it ain't. It ain't that. But it's damn sure more. Okay, so it says we aren't. Why aren't. Why aren't you talking about Aaron Donald working out with the LA Rams? We did talk about. He's coming back, Chop. He's not coming back. I'm telling you that right now. He's not coming back, Chop. He's not. It's not going to happen. So you sit your ass back and you had your cup of tea, a potato chip or two.
Joe
Wow.
Deebo Samuel
And it's not happening. You understand? And the other thing here is not happening. Debo, get your pods where we need you back at the Patriots asap. No, it's not happening.
Joe
Nope.
Deebo Samuel
Not tearing up everything in my body.
Joe
And Debo, you already said I cut
Deebo Samuel
one time and biggle everything in my knee. I never tore no major ligaments in football. Playing the game like it's no way I'm coming back. I thought I could. I sat there and played with my son for a minute. He just did like a little twist I'm trying to react to. I'm like, dude, no, I ain't doing that, man. I can't. I can't, I can't. I got to know which way I'm going and I got to go that way. That's why I'm playing no basketball, Joe. I ain't doing nothing that's gonna cause me to have to adjust somebody else's movements. Yes, on the treadmill, I'm lifting weights. I know which way to wear it.
Joe
That's it. I'm. I can't let it go yet. I can't let it go yet.
Deebo Samuel
How old are you?
Joe
37.
Deebo Samuel
Boy, I'm only a year older than you. I just turned 38 this year.
Joe
Debo, you are not a year older than me.
Deebo Samuel
I just turned 38 this year.
Joe
You turned 48 years old, so that means you're 11 years older than me. So that's why I can elite, you know, you was. You was. When did you. When was your. How were you. When you played your last snap in the league?
Deebo Samuel
39.
Joe
Come on, Debo, you were still getting people above you. I'm trying to play in the 35 and up league, Debo. No, I can still be playing.
Deebo Samuel
I was getting chilling, though.
Joe
I came to realization.
Deebo Samuel
What you knew if I tore something up there, it's gonna have to pay for it. Go out there doing it for the free man.
Joe
I'm doing it for the love, but I'm still. But I'm still chilling. I haven't had a foul.
Deebo Samuel
What happened? Listen, Jo, been foul. I ain't trying to wish nothing on you. Listen, Joe, please. I wish. I wish you all the greatest. And I wish you good health and I hope everything go good.
Joe
Thank you.
Deebo Samuel
So I ain't gonna win no more games and you'll be out there wasting your time. But with that even being said, worst case, look what happens if you. You mess up something, dude, and then you fall. And as you fall, I know you can't stop yourself from falling. You hit your mouth and then break your jaw and now your mouth wireless. If you listen just to me, Joe, if you this up for me,
Joe
I'll be right here.
Deebo Samuel
That'll be good for me. If you sit my ass there, I'll
Joe
be at the same spot for the whole year. Now I'm here.
Deebo Samuel

In this lively episode of Nightcap, Deebo Samuel and Joe bring their trademark banter and deep sports knowledge to the table, unpacking the latest sports headlines. The duo takes a detailed look at Aaron Rodgers’ “Last Rodeo” team photo shoot with the Steelers, speculates on Aaron Donald’s cryptic practice facility appearance, debates the rumors swirling around LeBron James' free agency decision, and even dives deep into the eye-popping new NFL franchise valuations. The show is, as always, rich with inside stories, candid opinions, and infectious energy.
[03:06 – 09:39]
Deebo and Joe Review Rodgers’ Farewell Team Photos:
The hosts go through a slideshow of Aaron Rodgers with Steelers teammates in a western-inspired “last rodeo” shoot at a ranch, possibly Rodgers’ property.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey. Right, got that paper. Now look here, man. If that, if that's his, that's where I want to be. ... That's my dream." (Deebo, 04:00)
"He's just trying to build team camaraderie right now." (Joe, 09:24)
Discussion of Western Outfits and Horses:
Both hosts riff on the players’ cowboy fits and the muscular horses (“those horses working out, boy!”). They joke about the ranch life, fake-smoking cigarettes for vibe, and even beekeeping captured in the shoot.
"I used to get a cigarette from somebody in the locker room... we'd fake smoke cigarettes in a locker room. We had problems, bruh." (Joe, 07:11)
Inviting Themselves to Rodgers’ Ranch:
Deebo openly campaigns for an invite:
"Hey, Rod, listen, man, I need an invite to this... I need to come out there, relax, have a good time..." (Deebo, 08:57)
[09:44 – 16:21]
Aaron Donald Spotted at Practice Facility:
The hosts react to images of Aaron Donald working out at a team facility, sparking rumors about a possible NFL comeback.
“I believe AD to be a man of his word. He said, ‘I don't have anything else to prove.’” (Deebo, 11:54)
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe entertains the speculation, noting Donald might be mentoring or just staying in shape.
“Aaron Donald could have access to anybody’s facility, but it’s looking a little crazier when he going in there.” (Joe, 10:25)
Miles Garrett Instagram Post:
The hosts react to Miles Garrett posting about Donald, suggesting he’s stirring the pot and playfully hinting a team-up.
"Miles...he gassing. He knows what he’s doing." (Deebo, 15:34)
[16:23 – 25:25]
Max Crosby Calls Out Lamar Jackson:
Brief riff on Crosby's competitive mentality.
Joe on Tackling Lamar Jackson:
Vividly explains why Lamar is the toughest QB he’s tried to catch:
“Lamar Jackson is acting like he doesn’t see you, but he’s setting you up the whole time...he can dead leg me, really...he can make you miss and take it to the house...” (Joe, 21:45)
Deebo and Joe’s Michael Vick Memories:
Both reflect on what made Vick special and transformative for the game.
[25:33 – 33:56]
Seahawks Sell for NFL Record $9.6 Billion:
Hosts break down the eye-watering deal led by 49ers’ limited partner Vinod Khosla.
“If the Seahawks is worth 9.6 billion...because that's what they're being sold for.” (Deebo, 27:26)
Who’s Worth What? Franchise Rankings Debate:
Spirited back-and-forth as they list and debate team valuations from Cowboys ($13B) to the Bengals (“that’s still 5 billion, though”).
“I think all teams are going to be worth up over 10, like around $10 billion.” (Joe, 29:38)
Chatter About Team Loyalty:
Good-natured ribbing over which teams’ fans are the most loyal—and most tortured.
[34:13 – 37:57]
LeBron Decision Looms:
Speculation on where LeBron might sign; Joe “hopes he goes back to the land” (Cleveland).
“That would be a perfect ending to the story...play from the crib, with your son at the games…” (Joe, 34:32)
LeBron's Legacy and Family:
Hosts imagine LeBron, Bronny, and Bryce all suiting up for the Cavs in a historic family run. Deebo sees history in the making:
"He gonna have two sons...playing with him." (Deebo, 36:31)
Cleveland vs. Miami:
Jokes ensue about why Debo would be willing to see games in Cleveland but not Miami; safety in Cleveland becomes a playful theme.
[46:14 – 53:56]
Young NBA Draftee Asked to Study Football Safety Ed Reed:
Unfolds as a debate about whether studying a football star helps basketball prospects, prompted by No. 2 NBA pick’s coach using Ed Reed footage for defensive teaching.
“Basketball, you gotta learn how to flop. Football, you can’t do that shit...I don't see how that translates, bro.” (Deebo, 47:22)
“He was talking about just the mental...just being aware and knowing what’s happening before it happens.” (Joe, 49:27)
Endless Banter:
The exchange turns meta and entertaining, as both hosts hilariously poke holes in the analogy, noting the athlete in question didn't even know who Ed Reed was.
[55:08 – End]
Deebo on Staying Retired:
Deebo rebuffs calls to return to the Patriots:
“Not tearing up everything in my body...I cut one time and biggle everything in my knee.” (Deebo, 55:10)
Aging and Pickup Hoops:
Banter about playing 35+ leagues, Joe’s refusal to let go, and the risks of getting hurt “for free.”
This Nightcap episode was vintage Deebo & Joe—a mix of honest football insights, unfiltered opinions, and memorable banter. The episode deftly covered the emotional and humorous side of Rodgers’ farewell, speculation on NFL great Aaron Donald’s status, the potential twilight of LeBron’s career (with a uniquely heartwarming family angle), and a deep dive into the ever-inflating world of franchise values. The show wrapped with a spirited debate about the value of cross-sport athletic "role modeling" and a round of introspection about the toll of pro sports and the wisdom of staying retired.
