this information is provided by Lily A medicine company. Joe Missoula was named 2025, 2026 Coach of the Year.
A
Wow.
B
Zula led the Celtics to a 56 and 26 record in what most people considered an impossible situation keeping the franchise afloat considering Jayson Tatum spent the majority of the season recovering from an Achilles injury. Joe Missoula beat out J.B. bickerstaff from the Pistons and Ms. Johnson from the Spurs. Joe Ocho, did they get it right?
A
Yeah, I would say so. Considering that, you know, you got your best player, one of your best players down and Jason Tatum, a guy who, who obviously you play through, he, he controls a lot of what you do. And to be able to adjust that and put a lot of that on Jaylen Brown's back, man, I thought it was great. They was plug and play. They had a lot of guys play above and beyond themselves throughout this whole entire season. Obviously they just came short of the goals.
B
Ocho, did they get it right?
C
Absolutely, I think they did get it right. Especially based on the circumstances with Jayson Tatum going down the previous season, going to the season. No one really gave the Boston cells a good chance. They never give him a chance at all. And what Jaylen Brown was able to do for them, keeping them keeping their head above water, steering that goddamn ship and being second, you know, coming out east, you know, you got to give it to the coach. Even though I think it's more so the players as opposed to it being the coach itself, he still gets rewarded for what the players did on the court.
B
I agree. I think if you take, I don't know, you could say Castle, the second best player from San Antonio, or you take whoever the second best player is during the regular season, I guess it was Jalen Duran. I mean, clearly he wasn't the second best player in the postseason and to get a 56 and 26 record. Yeah, nah, because he's not just Jason Tatum is. Was a three time or three or four time first team all NBA selection. Yeah, he's been on two Olympic teams. He was a Larry Bird Eastern Conference fine player of the MVP. So he's just not a guy. And you're taking 30 points, six, seven rebounds, five, six assists. You're taking that away and somehow you still managed to go 56 and 26. Yeah, I definitely think they got it right. And that's not to take away from those other guys. Because I think J.B. baker staff, getting that team to the number one seed is a huge accomplishment.
A
Yeah.
B
I think Ms. Johnson getting dispersed to 62 wins, I think that's a huge accomplishment. But for the most part, they had all their pieces.
A
Yeah.
B
And for you to lose that piece and considering what they let go. Because remember, Joe, this was supposed to. Hey, hey. Prazinga's gone. Al Horford gone. Holiday, all these guys are gone. Holiday gone. Yeah. And somehow you still able to do this. Yeah. They definitely got it right.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't know how close it was, but it probably shouldn't have been that close.
A
Yeah. And I.
B
And look.
A
And jb, jb. Jalen Brown was great all season, but those other guys around him, they played. They played great throughout the season, bro. They had different guys step up in different times, and I thought it helped keep them at top. At the top of the East.
B
It did. Joe Missoula, 2025 Coach of the Year. Well, well deserved. Yes. LeBron James is reportedly not willing to take a pay cut to return to the Cavs, per Brian Windhorse. Another report says Jared Allen might be sent to the Lakers if LeBron James joined the Cavaliers. A signing trade for LeBron would undoubtedly involve Jared Allen's $28 million, whom the Lakers have targeted previously in trade rumors. Joe, what's the best case scenario? Is LeBron going back? Look, he doesn't want to play. He doesn't want to take bet, minimum. I don't know how much he can get from the Lakers, especially if they resign. Austin Reeves, I don't know. But it. But they still have a lot of other issues. Rui deandre Ayton has a player option. Hope he opt out of it. You got Marcus Smart, he's on a player option. Luke Canard is unrestricted. So you have some other things that you need to get straightened out, ironed out. But obviously LeBron is. Is an unrestricted free agent and there have been reports that he may go back to Cleveland, you know, to finish up where it all started. What do you. What do you think is going to happen, Joe?
A
I don't think Braun Enjoy being third fiddle. If y' all want me to keep it 100. I don't think he enjoyed that. I don't really know if he even really want to go back to the Lakers.
B
To.
A
To be quite honest, I, I don't think he would mind going home, going back to Cleveland and sending Jared Allen to the Lakers. I think that would probably make sense because then now you got. Now Luka Got a big with him because Luca needs a, you know, a lob threat, a defensive big, somebody who can help. But to me, it just don't seem like Braun is going back to the Lakers, bro. It's pointing to, you know, a different direction, if you ask me. For whatever reason. Now, I know they got. I know the Lakers got some. Some guys they gotta resign and maybe. And maybe LeBron is just putting pressure on them. Maybe, you know, maybe he want these type of rumors to get out so the Lakers can really make some moves and make it appeasing for him to come back.
B
I definitely think he's going to have to make a decision sooner than, rather than later. He's like, well, I haven't gone on my vacation, taking my family vacation, but I don't. I don't think this is like in years past, the Lakers are not waiting on the 23. A guy that's going in the year 24. They're not waiting on him to make their decisions. And I think the hardest thing for. For people to understand the way you see yourself as you start to get age.
A
Yeah.
B
People don't see you that same way.
A
Right.
C
Even if they don't.
A
Right.
C
Everything is based off statistics. Everything is based off numbers. When it comes to those that are in positions, you know, to say, you know, well, based on what he was able to do for us last year, even being the third option when Reeve was out, when Luke was out. Yeah, he's earned the right based on what he's done to be able to take his time and make his decision. Because if we do let LeBron go, are we bringing someone in that makes us better? Even if we do have a healthy Luca, even if we do have a healthy Austin Reeves, we still need that third figure. And let's say LeBron doesn't like being third fiddle. He showed that he can adapt. He's sure that he's versatile enough to be able to. You know what? I'm going to be the third option. I'm going to pick and choose when to insert myself in the games. At times, I don't have to be selfish. I'm a little older. I'm 41, 42. Whatever it may be, whatever it may be, next year he's going to be 42. I don't need to be. I don't. I don't need to be the one with the ball all the time.
B
No, he don't want to be the one with the ball all the time, but he don't want to be the third option. Either.
A
Nah, nah.
B
He's never been third option. He was half. He was number two half a year, year before last, when Luca first got there. And I think he was cool with that. I think deep down, and I don't know this to be certain, but I think deep down, LeBron's like, Austin Reed's not better than me.
A
Yeah.
B
He doesn't believe Austin Reeves is better than he is. I don't believe. I don't think. It's hard for me to see a scenario that if you tell me LeBron James is going to be number two, that he wouldn't score 23, 24, 25 points a game, Joe Ocho, just like Austin Reeves did. Yeah.
A
Hey.
B
And he's gonna give you more rebounds, and he's gonna give you. And even at 41. At 41 years of age, right now, LeBron James is a better defender than Luca and Alston Reeves. Tell me I'm not lying, Joe.
A
Yeah. Nah, you're right. And I think Brian really enjoys having the ball in his hands, too. Fellas, if I'm just keeping it real.
B
He like to be able to control the game.
A
He sure does. Yeah. That's definitely how he controls the game, with the ball in his hand, you know, kind of picking you apart, picking his spots when he want to attack and be aggressive offensively. And I just think throughout the season, it was a. It was a tough adjustment for him until we got into the postseason when everybody was damn hurt. Now we. Now we need him to be that guy. So, yeah, I think he wants to. I think he wants to be the guy who he was in the playoffs who's kind of dictating the game.
B
Yeah, but I mean, chat somebody. He's not. I guarantee y' all just said that. I guarantee you, y' all do not think in your heart of hearts that Austin Reeves or Luka Doncic are better defenders than LeBron at 41. I'm not talking about when he was. When he was in his 20s or even in his 30s.
A
Right.
B
At no point in time has Austin. At no point in time in their career or in their career will they ever be the defender. LeBron James, it was or is currently at no point in time. You tell me a scenario where y' all believe Luka Doncic and Austin Reese. Honestly, now, forget that y' all dislike for LeBron and y' all say, all you do is hype LeBron up. Be honest with yourselves. Tell me a situation that y' all seen with your own two eyes. Y' all watch Luca Lucas Been in the league eight, nine years. Austin Reed's been in the league four years. Tell me the game that. Tell me the time that y' all seen him say, okay, you know what? Luca is a better defender than LeBron. Austin Reed is a better LeBron. I'll wait. Tell me the time. And be honest. You can't put. Put the. Put the foolishness aside. I get it. I get it. I know. Understand the dislike for LeBron James. Run deep. I get it. I've seen it in some politicians. The dislike runs deep. But you got to be honest. Sometimes you just got to say, you know what? You're right. He's not the player that he once was, but he's still a better defender than those two guys.
A
Yeah.
B
And that's. And guess what? At 41, to say he's a better defender, that ain't. I don't know. I'm not so sure that's saying much. Coach Ojo, when you really look at it, that just goes to. That says more about them than him, because clearly he's not the same to defender that he once was.
A
Right. Right. Hey, listen, and then you got to think about. He already said he thought that they didn't have enough talent to be okc. I mean, they didn't. Yeah. Yeah, they didn't. But think about it. Him coming back to the Lakers knowing that. That west is a gauntlet the way it is. I mean. I mean, yeah, I think at this point, he.
B
Where he gonna go?
A
Well, I'm saying if he go east, Unc, he can control it. You know, he.
B
He.
A
Hell, he'll be. He'll be top three. Four team in the Eastern Conference, battling, trying to come out the east versus wrestling in this jungle out here in the west here. Hey, it's a doggy dog world out here. What?
C
Joe, I know where he could go.
A
Where?
C
Right there with a statue of living yet.
A
Well, if they. Well, they ain't gonna do it out. They in the finals, Ocho. And let's just say. Okay, let's just say they around and win it.
C
Yeah.
B
They're not breaking up their team.
A
Yeah. Dang.
B
To be honest, Joe, I think LeBron making 50 million is. Is a really, really high up on the list, as opposed to teams who gonna give him close to the number that he made this year. He doesn't see that he's dropping off. He's like, okay, yeah, I was the third option. Y' all see, I took a back seat.
A
Yeah.
B
I believe if you make me a one or two option, I can still give you 24, 25 points a game. I can still give you six and seven assists. Look at the situation. I average. I was the second leading score in the okc. Shea average a point more per game than I did, but I led an assist and rebounds. He believes that in the, in a situation where he's the first or second option, he still can put up numbers that he put up the 20, the previous 20 years. The only thing I'm saying, and I've said this before, as we start to age, the impact that we had on the game is not the same. Joe, them 25, 7 and 7 that LeBron gets, they don't impact the game like they once did. Kevin Durant's going 28 and 30. They don't impact the game like they once did. Step scoring 30, they don't impact the game. And that's it. It happens. And I think that is the biggest difference as a player, no matter the sport, is that when we start to age, is that the impact that we had on the game? Man, LeBron get a triple double. That down there was unbeatable when LeBron got a triple double.
A
Yeah, yeah.
C
I think. You think as smart as LeBron is, as savvy as a, a basketball player that he is, he understands now that I'm, now that I've aged, you know, being. Being the third or second.
B
No.
C
Probably better for me.
B
No, no, no. That thought it never crossed his mind
A
because he don't, I don't think, I don't think he feels there's somebody out there who's a better decision maker, playmaker, like all around player. He feels he's the best guy still who can do everything on the court.
B
Yep.
C
I mean, he's shown that especially when everybody got hurt, he's showing he can do that.
B
Yep.
C
But are teams willing to see him in the same eyes and lens that he does?
B
Yeah, but the teams aren't very good. He's LeBron James. He's gonna sell tickets. Just like when Michael Jordan was on the Wizard. They weren't very good, but they sold out. He's still. He was Michael Jordan. I want to see Michael Jordan. A guy told a story that he took his daughter to see. He went to the funeral, Babe Ruth. And they say, well, why are you taking your daughter to the the funeral? She doesn't even know who Babe Ruth is. But I can tell her one day she saw Babe ruth. He's still LeBron James.
A
Yeah.
B
Is he the same? No,
C
but, but his same. LeBron's LeBron not being the same even at 41.
B
Yes.
C
It's still better than half the league depending.
A
It is.
C
Yeah. We ain't just talking about no. Anybody.
A
Yeah, but
B
LeBron was so good that it didn't take much for you to put around him and he could win a game. Yeah, but the league has gotten so much better. Ocho and Joe. And Joe, you know this. Those days are long, long gone.
A
Yeah.
B
Long, long gone. If you look at the teams that are in that had deep playoff runs, they all have benches.
A
Yep.
B
And he can't play 42, 43 minutes anymore because the body doesn't have time to recover. It's just facts. It's just life. So the thing is, he's gonna have to weigh is how much. Okay. What's in was. What is the number one thing that he's. What's the most important thing to me? Is it location? Is it fit? Is it money? What is it? Those are the questions that he gotta ask himself. Joe.
A
I think it's a combination of auto. Okay, I. I don't think it's just one thing. I think it's a combination like he want his worth, money wise.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't think he really ain't into taking no damn cuts. He ain't. I don't think he gonna be in none of that. I'm just keeping it real.
B
50. Who got a year or two years for 50, 400 million?
A
Well, I don't know. We got to look it up. I don't know. Somebody got it here. It'll take for one team.
C
I. I think the combination is. Is obviously the money has to be right because.
B
Right.
C
First, he's a basketball player, but he's also a businessman. Yep, he's a businessman first. So it has to make sense. It got to make sense. Then the fit. The fit. It has to be the right situation. Are you going back into a situation that puts you right back in the same boat you just left? Are you trying to win? Are you trying to win? So that comes into play as well. Are you still chasing another championship? Yeah, that's the case. You might not be able to get 50 million and go somewhere else where a team is already constructed, where you could. Where they can add you to the piece and you'd like the missing piece of the puzzle to give them a chance to go there. And that, that also might be. If you're that missing piece, you might have to do the same role you did last year in being the third option. So it's. It's so many battles that come into play, you know, it. Does he want to win another championship or have a chance at it or. Or do you want to make 50 million and say, look, I'm in control of everything because I'm still one of the better players in the league, even at 42.
A
I think he definitely want another title for sure.
B
Absolutely. And I think deep down he believes he can win another title in the right situation.
A
There you go.
E
Yeah.
A
He's not going to go to no team that he don't think can win it.
B
No, no, he ain't just.
A
No, no. You. You meaning, like, he ain't going to go just sign with the Chicago Bulls? No, no, no. It's gonna have to make some sense.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't.
B
I don't see us. I agree with you, Joe. I don't see a situation like that.
A
Nah.
B
But look, I know he says he ain't going on vacation, but LeBron has thought about this. The moment they did not extend that and he had to pick up that option, he started thinking about what was next.
A
Yep. What was possible.
B
Nobody plans to fail. They just fail to plan. LeBron James is a planner. He's playing at everything, every step of his life since he was 16. So now we get into a situation like this where he. And now all of a sudden, Joe, he just stopped playing it. He just like, you know what? I'm just gonna throw caution to the wind. Watch. Hey, whatever happens, happens. Do y' all do. Does that strike you as LeBron James, a guy that leaves it to chance? Hell, no.
C
And the funny thing about it, too, if you talk about LeBron being a guy that always plans, and I think he's always two steps ahead of everybody else. Hell, three. Three steps ahead of everybody else.
B
Yeah.
C
But he knows what he gonna do, huh? We just don't know.
B
Correct.
C
We're all in limbo like always. You know, before he did the.
B
The decision decision that was already in
C
place, he already knew he was going to do ahead of time.
B
Yeah, well, he just knew he wasn't going. He just knew he wasn't going back to Cleveland because they weren't going to get anybody. Now, he looked Chicago and I think the Knicks and the Heat. But when it came down to it, like, D. Wade wasn't leaving Miami.
C
Right.
B
Carmelo. It was supposed to be Carmelo, D. Wade and LeBron. But Carmelo took that extra year and took the max money. Carmelo took the money. I don't blame LeBron. And Bosh took less money in order to play together.
A
Yeah.
B
Originally it wasn't supposed to be Bosch. It was supposed to be Mellow Braun and Wade.
A
What that would have looked like with Mellow Braun and Wade. I just think Bosch fit so well, because he did. He understood his role, and he played it to the tee, you know what I mean? Like with Melo there, because he's so. You know, he's such a prolific score.
B
Yep.
A
I. I just think things would have been a little different.
B
I do, too. I think it. I think it's a perfect situation. What happened? Chris Bosch, very unselfish.
A
Yeah.
B
Because look at Kevin Love was a 24 and 13 guy before he got to Cleveland.
A
Nasty.
B
Kevin Love was 24 and 13.
C
Kevin Love was at Utah. Right on my tripping.
A
Minnesota.
B
He was at Minnesota.
C
Minnesota. Minnesota.
F
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Minnesota.
B
Yeah.
C
And he could shoot the three. Like a. Like a shooting.
A
Yes.
C
Right off that thing, boy.
B
Rebounding. And they turned that man into a. A 15, eight guy. Chris Bosh was 20 and 10.
A
Yeah.
B
Everybody. It's not. Everybody can't. Every. Everybody. Everybody can't. And everybody isn't willing. Aren't willing to sacrifice that much of their game, Joe, in order to win.
A
Yeah. You gotta really want to win. What. To sacrifice that much. Because, you know, I think with Bosch. Yeah, he was like 22 and 10 a night in Toronto, bro. And he left that to go play with them, obviously, with a chance to win multiple championships. That was a great move for Bosh.
B
Yes.
A
Great move.
B
Yeah.
C
I like what. What Joe just said we talked about. And as much as you and you and Joe believe that LeBron wants to be in charge, you know, maybe not the first option, but at least the second option.
B
Yeah.
C
Having to sacrifice to win another championship. I have to go somewhere where the pecking order. Where I understand the pecking order, Even though I'm LeBron James and have to put my ego in check. Yes, there is one. If I want another shot at it going out on top the right way. If this is going to be my last season, sometimes being the third option might be the best fit for you. As opposed to saying, I'm LeBron James, I want to go somewhere. Well, I'm still that guy, and I can run the show.
B
But the question is, could you have done. Could you have gone to New England in year five or six and did what you did in year 11?
C
Nah, hell no. But, hey, you heard. I was still. I was still young. I was still in my prime. I was still hungry. LeBron is on the. On the back end.
B
But see, here's the deal.
C
He should be able to adapt to the situation. Based on his age, did you believe
B
you were still that same receiver in year 10, 11 that you were in year five or six?
C
Oh, hell no. Hey, lost it a little.
B
Ron still believe he can still get it done, doesn't he, Joe?
A
Yeah. Yeah. Hey, hey, he still think he better than 95, 97 of the guys in the league, right? He does.
C
Hey, Uncle Joe. And then listen, I could be honest with you sometime, Uncle Joe. There's certain things that I used to do. And the dude was three, four yards behind me. Boy, I got about yet nine and ten, and dude was in my hip pocket. I mean, right? Hey, hey, Joe, when I. My open were 3, 4 yards of separation, and this. This is open in the NFL, this is open. I was creating enormous amounts of separation, would look stupid. And I got about year nine and ten. I'm like, why is he this close?
B
You absolutely right.
C
My moves wasn't working, Joe. Yeah, my bread and butter move, Joe, man.
A
Hey, O. Joe. I know, brother. I know. Look, look, look. That damn crossover just ain't crossing over like it used to. You know what I mean?
B
For real, yo, you crossing over, dribbling it off your foot, going out about like Ocho, huh?
A
It ain't. Don't hit the same no more. What?
C
What? Hey, I'm glad, you know. It ain't the same, huh?
B
It get tough, man. I mean, you get like, damn, man, I used to. Hey, Ocho. I read a route. Ocho, Ojo. I read a route. Dude was so close. If he'd have been any close, he'd have been in front of me. How the hell you get down? The hell. My best songs. Hey, I said, hold on. I'm like, hold on. Are you.
C
Hey, it hurts. Ain't nothing you can do about it either, Joe. Nobody. And matter of fact, and I. I didn't. I had pride, too, right? I had pride. I didn't want to go to Marvin. I didn't want to go to Coach Burkowski and say, listen, I'm really. I'm really. I'm not the same. I'm not the same. I really can't tell you what it is, but I'm watching film and some of the things I was able to get away with the first. What year? Year three to maybe. Maybe eight. Yeah, I'm gonna need you to. I need your help. I need your help. Condensement splits, whatever you got to do, it just. I just. And, man, that. That was a tough pill to swallow.
B
Tough pill to swallow because you Know what it is, Ocho? The thing is, look, I could still have a game or two, Joe, because you gotta realize I set the record in year 13. The most receiving yards for a tight end was in year 13. So I could still have a game or two here and there. I just couldn't run it. I used to go get 137, 157, 168, 140, 80, 90, 70. Man, I get you 105, throw a couple of 30s in there, get you a 75, then I'm gonna shoot you a 110, then I'm gonna get you a couple of 20s and tens. You know, you just. It just got harder and harder and I'm like, damn, it is what it is. I just, hey, I'm gonna give everything I can. But hey, the moves. I mean, I go a game and I might get covered one time. Now all of a sudden I'm looking like, damn, man, why he throw the ball? Yeah, I'm so glad he ain't threw that one. That might have been going the other way through that ball.
C
It's so crazy too, Joe, where it was such a. It was such a wake up call. You gotta just to think about this to show you how crazy I was and how confident I was in my game. Joe, at the beginning of the season, right? Yeah. I looked at the schedule and everybody were playing. So I took the DBs that were on each team that we were playing, I put each db, their first, there's their starter and the one on the other side, and I put them all on a laminated sheet.
A
Okay.
C
Beginning of the season. And I put it in my locker and at the top of it said, who covered Ocho in 2005? Matter of fact, that was the year. And I let every. I put everybody on notice. None of y' all gonna be able to stop me. Jody said, at the beginning of the season, I'm talking trash. Why? I got these dudes names in my locker. And I'm telling you, not finna be able to stop me, Joe, you know how hard it was. They go out there and already I'd already put. I didn't put the pressure on myself already, Joe. Right about to go out there and wash everybody. Joe, everybody got that work in 2005, Joe, everybody, everybody. And then I talk trash through the media leading up to the game during the week. Well, I got about it. Got about 2009 to 2010. They talk about bring to in. Hell yeah, bring him in. I knew I wasn't the same, right I know it wasn't the same. That's why I stood on the table. Marvin. Mike Brown, man, listen, man, please, whatever you do. One of my favorite. One of my favorite receivers, I have no problem taking a back seat because I can see watching film. I ain't the same.
A
Yeah, yeah. It's hard, man. It is, bro.
B
But even though I was. I wasn't the same and Rod had ascended, in my eyes, I still was the second best receiver. Yeah, right. Even though Rod has ascended. Hey, I ain't got no problem with that. But I'm like, hold on. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm like, bron, I ain't the third best. I might not be first, but I damn sure ain't third or fourth. But the thing is, though, Ocho and Joe, you know this. All they do is they look at you. They ain't comparing you against guy. Other receivers. Joe, they're not comparing you against other tools. They compare you, Joe, when you was 27.
A
Yeah.
B
When you was 30. Oh, Joe. They comparing you in year three, year four. They were like, hey, when you run it off pro first, you know, you start. Started in the Pro Bowl. Started a Pro Bowl. Started the Pro Bowl. First team, All Pro. First team All Pro. First team, All Pro. First team, All Pro. That's what they compare you to. Yeah, man. And still, even though the guys. I wasn't the same, I was still better. I still. And my estimation, you go back and look at the year I retired, they still wasn't five tight ends better than I was.
C
Right?
B
I'm not so sure they were. Damn.
A
Three, right?
B
The only one I can say hands down that was better than I was was gonzo.
A
Yeah, Gonzo.
B
He's the only one I can say hands down was better than I was when I retired. Go look at the numbers.
A
Yeah,
B
what happens?

B
Getting dunked on or getting crossed over on a jumper hit on you?
A
Getting crossed up and somebody hitting a jump on you is tough, see? Cause it's like, it's like Rudy Gobert, like if he get dunked on, he a shot blocker. So it ain't, you know, I mean, it ain't really like that. But if somebody cross you up and make you fall and make the shot. Yeah, I think that's worse.
B
Joe, what about what Castle did to Hartenstein?
A
That was just wrong. But hey, Ant man got some more.
B
Ant man got. Exactly. Remember Ant man got that dude from Toronto. What's the.
A
What's the. What's the dude who was here in Atlanta, but he. He and he. For the Clippers now. He was playing in Utah.
B
Oh, John Collins.
A
Well, hey, that one. That man got some. He got. He got. Hey, them bad. Them bad. Ojo.
B
I ain't trying to get on the poster, man. Look how many posts the Jordan gotto got hanging up. He done got Mutombo. He done got Patrick Ewing, man. He dunked on a. He dunked on. He dunked on somebody in Utah and a crowd and a fan. So I pick on somebody your own size. He came down and dunked on Melvin Turpin. They used to call him the trimmer. He's 6 11. He dunked on him. And like, he big enough.
A
Yeah, Yeah.
B
I don't want either, but boy, look here, Joe, that. That duck, man. It's something about getting.
A
I guess it depends on who's the dunk. Because you look at Vince Carter, he got so many bodies. He got something.
B
Oh, what? He called Lonzo Morning.
A
Oh my God.
B
He called. He called Zo. Like this.
A
Yeah. In Miami. Yeah, he called it. That was nasty.
C
I think it's more embarrassing to have somebody cross you over and the person fall and you hit it and you hit that midi. Most of the time. It's always. It's always a mid range shot too.
A
Yeah.
C
And you fall back or you step on a foot. Because you step on a foot, you go falling back and they. They pull up and hit it.
B
That.
C
I think that's. That's way more embarrassing.
A
Hey, hey. That's how I'm gonna do your ass when I hit you with. When I hit you with this crossover. Because I know you think you would
B
kill a crossover, Joe.
C
We were doing just fine. And here you go, you're going. You, you.
A
I'm just keeping it 100. I just. I seen it. I'm just keeping it 100.
C
Okay.
B
Yeah, I mean, you know, Dominique kept somebody on his post. Dominique was dunking on people. Dunking on people. Like he was dunking in the dunk contest. Double pumping between the legs.
A
I think Dominique, probably not probably, but he definitely one of the best dunker. But power dunkers.
C
Yeah, I was going to say that.
B
Oh, yeah, he's a power dunk because he was a 2ft Joe. He was a 2ft dunker. You know, guys that dunk with 2ft, they generate a lot of power. Hey, that boy, Sean Kim, remember Sean Kemp, got Chris Gatlin and when he dunked on him, he like,
A
hey, hey, man, you talking about them, dude. Like they had problems with the rim. You hear me? Yeah, yeah, yeah. They had appointments that needed to be made. Yeah.
C
And as small as he is, Westbrook was a. Was a. Was a power dunkin.
A
Yeah, he was. He was.
C
I don't know who he was angry at.
B
What you call him? D. Rose. D. Rose jump off two feet. Guys that jump off two feet, they get to that launch point. Okay.
C
So springy to be so little. Who, D. Rose. He was springy, bouncy, ocho.
A
He made it look effortless, bro.
B
Yes.
A
Like when he. When he exploded, he went to jump. Look, it ain't even necessarily the dunks for me. It's like, I look at guys, especially guards, how they shoot their floaters. Like, D. Rose probably had one of the best floaters, bro. I'm saying, because he knew how to use his strength and power and his athleticism along with his finesse. Like, he. He had great touch as well. Hey, that boy, that was special.
B
Nice. Yeah. I mean, W a the doc, you know, doc was a one foot dunker.
A
Yeah.
B
Dr. J. Yeah. When he rocked the baby and brought that thing back.
A
Yeah.
B
Hey, Magic. Magic would tell the story like when he took off, because that was on Magic. Now when he took off on one side.
A
Yeah.
B
He went up under.
A
Yeah. And did. Yeah.
B
He was just looking like, man, is he ever gonna come down? But yeah, man, hey. And now these guys, these guys cross. The guys. How many guys Steph Curry done. Done cross, though? See, Steph, I think it'd be worse, cuz. Steph. Because Steph crossing you up, shooting it and turning it, running down court.
C
He ain't even looking at it before you go in.
B
Yeah. Here you're looking at the ball like, hold on, man, what you doing?
A
And he. And he's such a great shooter that you have to honor everything he does. It doesn't matter what, whatever type of dribble move you gotta honor, because, hell, you know, if he get an inch, it's. It's cash.
B
Oh, he pulling it. He. He pulling it. Victor. Oh, Victor Womenyamas. He had a one on one Pananis Prism Black parallel card sold for 5.11 million in a private sales via Phoenix collects wait card is the most expensive known of a non autographed NBA card. And the third sport or card sold for $5 million in 2026. The complete list of cars that have sold for over $5 million. Michael Jordan has the highest to date. Oh well, he and Kobe 12 million, 12.93 million. Kobe also has a 12.93 million card. Mickey Mantle 12.6. LeBron James 10 million. Honus Wagner 7.25. Babe Ruth 7.2. Aaron Judge 5.2 and Victor Womenyama 5.1.
C
Wait, how is this car so valuable so early?
B
Because he's so good so early. And guess what? They say it's only gonna get better.
A
Hey, hey, y' all use. Y' all used to collect cars, man?
B
No, with what, huh? You got. In order to collect cars, you got to collect money.
A
Yeah. Hold on, hold on, hold on. When I was in, I think I want to say early high school years, like 10th grade, I used to have a binder full of cars. I gotta get my binder, man. I got some stuff in there that worth something. I got a couple Kobe's and Penny Hardaways and Jordans in there.
B
Hey, what's up, Joe?
C
I used to collect cars, Joe.
B
Right as they said to her, she'll go through it and collect cards. Hey, but you don't know how to hold on to them because as soon as she get them, she turned them over and they'd be worth triple in two days.
C
Hey, the cars you used to open, did it have the bubble gum in the back in the pack?
A
No, no, no. This one, the bubble gun. This one?
C
Yeah, I think the baseball cars I used to.
A
Baseball?
B
Yeah, yeah.
C
You said a little bubble gum in the. In the, in the.
B
Yeah, every time. Well, the honest Wagner card it came with. It came in a thing. A back of a cigarette. It came in the back of cigarettes.
C
Real.
B
Yeah. The horn is Wagner car. Most people threw it away. They didn't realize what it was. And that's what a lot of things don't show. You don't realize. Think about all the old school cards, cars. Excuse me, the Camaros and the Cougars and all that.
C
People didn't know how valuable they would be today.
B
Nope. Hey, y' all tripping, you know, had a Camaro, had a Nova, had the. The. The Malibu, the. The chevelle, had a 3, 6 rally blue with the rally with the red. Yeah. Had all that. Had a Nova.
A
Yeah, I'm probably sitting on about 10 million over here, man. All these cars I got.
C
Yeah. Hey, where. Where them cars at, Joe?
A
I got them. I got them put up. I got them put up. I had that.
C
I mean, exactly. Widow. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
A
Turbo. Hold on. Slow down now. Slow down.
B
Oh, you come. You coming to get a mocho snatch
C
all that right up off of.
A
Yeah, I'm probably sitting on about 10, 12, me. I got these Kobe's and AIs and Jordans. Oh, yeah, Hardaway. The rookie card, man.
C
But you got a Jordan, rookie.
A
Come on, man. Come on.
C
Hey, let me get that so I can have him sign it.
A
No, I gotta sign. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
B
Well, you have to probably go. You have to go get them graded.
C
Hey, Joe. Let me get that rookie card, Joe,
B
and see what it is, you know, see if they're 8 or 9 or a 10.
C
Yeah.
A
Nah, Ocho, that'd be like. That's like me handing you $7 million.
C
That's the point. Either you gonna hand it to me, I'm gonna take it. Which one?
A
Let me see. Let me see you take it with your tough ass. Come over here and take it. You come. Come over here with your tough ass and take it. Come on. Come on.
C
Just tell me where they at.
A
Just come to the house.
B
When you see. He'll. He'll. He'll tell you in your ear where they at, right?
C
I don't wanna. I don't want to have to go looking for it. I just want him to tell me exactly where.
A
I'm gonna have them out and open. I'm gonna have them sitting on the kitchen island. That woman. Yeah.
C
Hey, make sure. Make sure your dog free too, okay?
A
I will. I will. Yeah, I will. I got you.
C
It ain't gonna be two ass woman. Your ass woman.
B
Man, these cars getting cards. I was with. I went to a dinner one night at Michael Rubin's house, and they had a bunch of collectors and they was talking about, man, this guy had just paid $8 million for a jersey. I think it was a jersey or pair of shoes. And everybody was talking about them.
C
Had to be game worn.
B
Damn, that was me.
C
Had to be game worn. Who was it? You remember the player?
B
It was Jordan. It was a Jordan jersey.
C
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
Damn.
C
Game worn and signed, huh?
B
I think so.
C
I could have met.
A
Yeah, man, I got a little collection over here. I might. I'LL show y' all some thing one day. I just, you know.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Show it to us.
B
And it went for what? Yeah. Yeah. Yep. All right, it's time for our final segment of evening.

C
Q and hey, send me one of them cards, Joe.
A
I got you bro.
C
Get after my kids.
B
Before we get to our super chat, we've got four video voicemail from our discord. Let's take a listen. What up, what up Oto? What up King ISO? Hey, we at work with it. Y' all be having us cry every day at work, but do y' all have a favorite pair of retros?
C
As in Jordans?
B
Let me know.
A
Yeah, I, I got a favorite pair. So back in 2000, 2006, when I joined Jordan brand, they came out with the Jordan 5 retros. And back then we used to, you know, if you was a Jordan athlete, used to get about 2, 3 pair of different retros. You can almost damn that pick. Like it was, it was, it was super sweet. Back then they didn't cut back a lot. Nowadays they don't really have retros like that. But anyway, they came in with the Jordan 5 Retro, so I had them in all the Hawks colors. I had some, I had some red ones. I had some, I had some, I had some funky colors, bro. And the Jordan 5 for me was always my favorite. That's my favorite Jordan. So for, for me to have it as a pe, like still to this day I still, I still keep me a clean, fresh pair of fives, bro. I like the Jordan 5. Prefer the black ones with the, with the gray on the side. Yeah, with that, with that metallic gray tongue. They ain't nasty.
B
Oh, so you're not in the shoe game, are you?
C
Nah, man. That's one thing I never really got into. For me, I don't wear Jordans often, but when I, when I, when I did love them, it was the basic Colors of the Jordan ones. And I used to hoop when people used to make fun of me about why you out here hooping and Jordan ones, I know they hurt your feet. And I never could understand it because it just. I hate my foot being constricted. I want to feel the. I want to feel the floor. I want to feel the court. And I. I just enjoyed it. I remember I played in the celebrity game with Gilly in Philly. Brother. Brotherly something. I forgot the name of it.
A
And.
C
Hey, Joe. I wore a pair of Chuck Taylor's. I wore a pair of black high top Chuck Taylor's. And I was able to play, you know, you ain't got no tape. I was like, nah, I. I like to feel the. The floor. It's. It's weird. I don't know why. I'm like, I don't. I'll never spray. I'll never sprain my ankle or nothing.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh, my God.
B
I mean, I got. I think for me, what, what changed it is the. That really took it to another level was the Concord. When he came out with that Concord.
A
Yeah.
C
What's that?
B
And then he came out with them breads.
A
Yeah.
B
And then he came out with the cool grays. It was over.
A
It was around them pad leather, them patent leather joints. Ocho with the red.
C
With the red bottom.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah.
B
The black. Patent leather. The Concord with the black. Had the white and the black.
A
Yeah.
B
That was the first ones that he came out with. Then he came out with the breads, and then he came out with the cougar. It was a rap.
A
Yeah. Hey, hey. When he came out with them Concords, I remember like it was yesterday, but I was in junior high school. I got.
B
I got some of the original. I got somebody when they first came out, you know, they done retro. They don't retro the cool. I still got. I still got some of the original cement.
A
Do you really?
B
I do. I don't know. You might put them on, you might take a step and they just disintegrate.
A
The thing gonna fall apart.
B
Yeah, I've had something to do that, Joe.
A
Yeah, I have.
B
I wore up to work, man. I got in there, man. I look like Fred Flintstone. I put my foot on the brain.
A
Hey, hey.
B
Straight through the bottle.
A
Hey. Because I. I used to have me a real nice shoe collection. So I called myself trying to work out and practice some retros. They came all the way apart, man.
B
All the way. They absolutely will.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, mine. I mean, and they were in it. But you got to realize Those shoes are. The Cement came out, what, 88?
A
Yeah.
B
So you talk about shoot down there, 40 years old, even though you put it up in a nice, cool area and all that stuff.
A
Yeah.
B
Shoes were meant to be preserved. Unless you got the Dorothy or the Ruby slipper.
A
Right, right.
B
But, no, I'm trying to think if I had a. A pair of Jordan. I don't really wear them that much now. I'm more of an Air Max guy. Yeah, I'm probably. Probably next year or so, I'm probably gonna get rid of all.
A
All the.
B
The retros. But I got the mirrors. I got the. The. The duck. The pes. I got. Man, I got so much. I got the lasers. I got the. The Toros.
A
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
B
You got a nice little shoe with the gum bottoms. I got the Columbias. The og.
A
Hey, the thing is, though, it. When you got a good collection like that, man, you got some. Some dudes who pay top dollar to take that off your hand now. Yeah, it's worth something.
B
You know, I got basically. Basically, mine are like 12 and a half, 13.
A
Yeah.
B
Which is a good. A good size.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah. They paying top dollar for that.
B
Yeah. I'm more of an air. I'm more of an air. Well, I'm more of a croc guy. With crocs. You.
A
Hey, you.
B
You.
A
You want to let them feet breathe a little bit, though.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
The Air Force was. Now, my. My feet done got bad, man. I just. I've tried to go for comfort.
C
You might. Well, you might well put them Jordans away and switch the sketches.
B
Hey, I might have to do that or that. What's the one? Them hookahs. Yeah.
A
Hey, I see everybody with the mocha.
B
Yeah, I better get them. I'm about to get them, Joe.
A
That's next, man. Hey, hey, Hookah might give you a little sponsorship, man.
C
Hey, hey, y'.
B
All.
C
Holly. Y' all holler at my boy now. Holla. Huh?
A
Yeah.
B
All right, let's take a listen to the first one. Oh, that's the second one, the next sexual one. Excuse me.
C
What's up, Ocho?
B
ISO Nightcap, fam. I want to tell y' all what happened to me. For the first time, man, I went
C
to play ball with my boys, and
B
when I got there, some teenage boy, like, 17. 18, wanted me to be on this
C
team, but he approached me with a
B
ump, man, I'm only 28, man. That broke my heart. I want to slam this man on his head, man. I want to be like, Bron. I'm scared Again. Oh, man, I want to be like Braun, 47, ducking on heads. Man, I'm scared, man.
C
I ain't even want to be on
B
the man team no more, man.
A
Don't even pick me at this point. But how was y' all accepting getting older, man?
B
That's. That's a fair mind, man. I want to be me forever. Like, I wanna know you're gonna be all you. Yeah.
A
Hey, hey, don't.
C
I like getting older, Joe and Uncle, because the old you get, the more experience and the more wisdom.
A
Hey, and don't take no damn time off. Don't take no 5, 10 years off without doing some type of fitness activity and then talking about, I'm gonna get back in shape.
B
Okay?
A
You got to keep going.
B
You can't.
A
You can never stop.
B
Man, I ain't never heard the word until I got on Undisputed, man. I put that. Dude, I put that stocking cap on and came out there with that black and miles and that liquor. Yeah, man, I've been unk ever since, man. Don't nobody. Don't nobody. I mean, somebody don't nobody call me. My name Jordan Ash. But I'm talking about, like, people. When I meet people. Yeah, they be asking you, hey, that's Unc. I don't know, asking. I'm like, well, damn, you probably kind of gave it away. You could have just said no. But nah, hey, bro, it ain't. I'm at the age. I was having this conversation with my sister about three days ago. I said, libby, because she'll be. Libby.be 66, her birthday. Obviously, I'll be 58 in a month. My brother turned 61 in April. I was like, libby, we had the age where we used to say, call people old. Yeah, I remember. Man, sit your old ass down. That's me now, guys. That's me. Damn.
C
Hey, look, now your time will come. We. We never knew it would come so fast because we were once young. And then sometimes you think about it now, hey, you.
B
You. What you.
C
Are you 57?
B
Yeah, I'll be 58 in June. June 26th.
C
Yeah, but I'm 58, man. And sometimes I sit back at the cigar bar, got my cigar in my hand. Hey, hey, hey, where's time gone?
A
Hey.
C
Go by so fast?
A
It does go by fast, but what's worse, Uncle Old school. If somebody call you old school.
C
Old school ain't even bad at this point, Joe. I just accept it because it is what it is. Yeah, it is what it is. And half the people calling me uncle and calling me old school. Hey, I'm. I'm old school, but how come I look younger than you?
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
I mean, you know. Hey, I'll be thinking about that, man. What if I shave this off, you think?
C
Don't shave it off. The women love salt and pepper, man. Don't do it. Don't do it.
A
Yeah, no, don't shave it off, bro.
B
Don't shave it off, Joe.
A
Nah, nah. We gotta get. I'm wondering why Ocho running around here with this naked face.
C
Make me look 23, Joe. Yeah, okay, 23, boy.
A
All right.
B
I don't think you can grow none, Joe.
A
I don't think so neither. He tell me I could grow it.
C
It'd just be patchy.
B
Damn it.
C
Don't grow full. That's why I would think about getting a lace front beer. Hey, I don't.
B
I don't know.
C
Matter of fact, we could go on tour. Yeah. I'm saying, I'm not sure what the plans we have. Matter of fact, when we do. Nightcap outside.
B
Yeah.
C
I'm getting that Anderson pack. I'm getting that Anderson pack wig.
A
I wish you would, boy.
C
Yeah, yeah. There you go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, especially if you go hunting, boy. Oh, no, we're not gonna go hunting.
B
Oh, man. Oh, okay. First of all, I gotta beat Joe. I gotta. I gotta beat Joe fishing because Joe swear he can fish.
C
I'm glad you said that, Joe.
A
What's up?
C
First time I went in bass pro shops the other day.
A
Yeah, man, they got.
B
Let me try to find that. You fished in the pool, huh? You fished in the pool?
C
No. You don't know? I asked, but you're not allowed to. It was nice. It was huge, too. And they.
A
They.
C
Hold on. They got the fish, the kind of fish they got in there. They had a grouper, some catfish, some other names. I don't know what you was in there for it because it's next door to the hotel. I'm like, okay, walk in here, they got all types of ATVs, clothes, boots, bows. They got.
B
Yeah, I used to work Cabela's.
C
Hey, they got so many rods, huh? I mean.
B
Yeah.
C
What's the difference? In all the. I'm talking about, they had a whole section, nothing but rods.
B
Some of them deep sea, some of them for deep sea fishing, some of them for, you know, shore fishing. Some bass, river, lake, pond.
C
Yeah, that. It was crazy, man. I mean, they got everything. Anything to do with outdoors, they got it in there. It was nice. It was dope.
B
Yeah. So when you spin that thing out there.
A
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
B
You gotta back that boat down.
A
Yeah,
B
when you take off.
A
Hey, hey, hey. You better watch what you ask for. Now you barking up this tree talking about some fishing. I'm telling you, okay? I ain't lied to y' all yet. Everything I told y', all, it gonna. It gonna happen.
B
Hey, Joe, I'm telling you now, you. Hey, listen.
A
Hey, I throw that that rod now.
B
Hey, yeah, me van down. Hey, I'm the black Kevin Van Dale, man.
A
Come on, man.
B
Full time Bassmaster.
A
Come on. I need my get back.
B
It's me. It's me. Kbd, Rick Clune.
A
Chill, chill, chill.
B
Actually, I got an autograph from Rick Klum.
C
Hey, you know what? I'm finished. I'm gonna start fishing.
A
Oh, maybe. Hey, hey, hey, hey. When it comes to competing, I don't even be. You know me. I already know.
B
We can't take you fish. You talk, man, the fish you scared of.
C
Listen, hold on. Let me tell you something. Like, for real, for one, I don't have patience. Right? That's why I really don't like fishing. That's why. Honestly, I've never fished before. But if y' all take me fishing, as long as I can wear my headphones and don't nobody bother me, I can smoke, I'm good.
B
Ain't nobody. Who the hell gonna bother you? I'm gonna be way away from you.
C
I'm just saying, as long as you don't bother me.
B
You want to be on the shore or you want to be on the boat?
C
I'm gonna be on the boat.
B
So you want to be a. So what you. What we fishing for? We fishing. We going to. We fishing for big mouth bass. We fishing for bluegill only. Fishing for.
A
I'm fishing. I'm fishing for whatever biting. Hell, I ain't lying to you.
B
Okay, so you're going back country?
A
Yeah.
B
You're going back to Arkansas. Okay.
A
Yeah, I'm throwing it out there. Damn.
B
Damn it. So we catch catfish, Blue Grill, crappy Walmart.
C
Hey, you know what else is pretty dope that they had too? Uncle Joe, you know people do shore fishing, right?
B
Yeah.
C
Standing in the water, man. They got the whole suit with the boots already connected to the suit.
B
Yeah, that's how you do. You step in it. Yeah, yeah.
C
Hey, that. That was dope. I mean, it remind me of Dicky.
B
So what. How you. So if you step in the water, that's up to your waist Ocho and the boots, the water gonna go in the boost. If they're not already attached.
A
Hey, hey.
C
I'm not familiar with that stuff because it was all new to me. Huh?
A
Hey, hey. If you fishing like that, boy, you something serious. You ain't playing. Yeah, you ain't playing.
C
Yeah, they have.
B
I'm saying we can go noodling, too. They got noodling all up in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas.
A
Are we gonna go up? Y' all wanna go up in the
C
Ozarks with the catfish?
A
I think I look in the Ozarks, man.
B
So you gotta stick your head in the hole, Ocho, and pull him out.
C
Yeah, wait for it. Wait till he bites you. Yeah, I know about that.
B
Yeah, it might be a gator, it might be a water moccasin. But, hey, when you get bit, you pull your head out. Hey, listen, it might be an alligator. Snapping turtle.
C
Hey, that's fine.
A
I'm gonna have that hammer. I'm gonna have that hammer ready to hit him across his head once y' all pull him out. Cause I damn sure he put my hand in there. I'll tell y' all that now.
B
Well, how you gonna get. How you gonna get him out, Joe?
A
Huh?
B
How you gonna get him out?
A
I'm saying, when y' all snatch him out, I'm gonna hit him across.
B
No, you gotta snatch on. I ain't snatching no fish out for you. I'm catching my own. The hell you gotta catch your own? Steel head. Joby tried to get over. Oh, there's that third. Here's our third one. Let's take a listen.
C
What's going on?
A
Nightcap, fam?
C
Hey, y', all, I'm the one that's sitting there in the hall of Fame edition of laportier the other day, man. It's definitely smooth.
A
Hey, and you was right.
C
I do got some spots, man. Hey, all I'm say is, what's one of the funniest moments y' all had in the locker room? Shout out to y' all, boys,
A
I gotta think. Trying to think, but that's one of the funniest moments.
C
Well, it's. It's so many, man.
B
So me. Oh, my God. This wasn't in the locker room. This was on the field. We were stretching, and I ain't gonna say the guy's name, but so we were stretching, and so they were asking. They was like, man, how much you pay your agent? You can play in 3%, you play in 5%. That means they handle everything. They pay all your bills, they get your taxes together, so forth and so on. So I, like. I played you Know, they. I said, I pay like 3%. I said, I let my sister pay my bills. I feel that that little bit of money, that 2% that add up. I pay my sister, give her something and she could pay my bill. She can sit in my rent and, excuse me. My mortgage.
A
Yeah.
B
My car pay. I ain't have no. Well, like, insurance and things like that. She could do that, man. I said, well, how do we ask, like, well, how much you pay, man? My agent tried to get over on me. I said, what you mean? He said, man, he tried to try. He tried to charge me 50. I just gave him half, though. That's exactly what I said, Ocho. That's exactly what I said. We were stretching, we all got up and left.
A
Oh, damn.
B
She said, asia tried to get over on him. Ocho said he tried to take 50. He said, I ain't gave him number half, though.
A
Damn,
B
man. Some of these guys, I was like, how y' all go to a major college? I. I didn't do good on the sat. I'm listening to some of you guys talk. I'm like, how? How?
C
Hey, hey, Joe, you know, I may be a fool, but when it comes to that money, boy, I play. I don't play no games. I'm dotting every. I am crossing every T. Right? I know what's coming out, what's going out, what's coming in. Well, everything, right?
B
You should.
A
Damn.
B
Most of the story involve. You know, we definitely have to. We'd have to put that on Patreon. The story. The story that we got.
A
Yeah, I got. I got some story, but damn, I.
B
Hey, oh, yeah, a lot of the story, man. You know, people may or may not have changed. They may or may not be married, right? They may. May not have kids or even grandkids. And so to bring them into a situation. Now, that's why a lot of times I don't even bring no names up, right?
A
You can't, bro. Cause you don't want rough enough.
B
They know who I'm talking about, and they know I'm telling the truth. Yeah, because a lot of times they said, man, shot. Why you told that story? I say, no name. He said, fool, you know, I know you talking about me. Yeah, but. But you'll see. We're gonna get. I'm getting the guys together. We're gonna get a couple of the guys together in Denver. We're gonna sit down on Club Shake. Let's take a listen to the fourth one, y'.

A
Appreciate that, bro.
B
Absolutely appreciate that.
C
I like that, man.
B
You like? I mean, I can't. See, I think the thing is, I probably would like New Orleans cuisine a lot more if I could eat seafood, but Because.
A
Oh, you can't eat seafood.
B
I'm allergic to shellfish, man.
A
Damn.
B
Even iodine. I can't even fool with iodine. Iodine touching my skin. My skin literally just roll up. Like just start balling off.
A
Damn, boy, I love me some seafood now.
B
Yeah, so it shouldn't be no problem. Ocho, he lives love seafood, so it shouldn't be no problem for him to take that next step, right?
C
Oo, they sure should know.
A
What next step? What next step?
F
What?
A
Come out to seafood, you know?
C
You know that next step, right? Go ahead and lick that cone, huh? Huh? Don't worry about it.
A
This is why y' all want this. This is why y' all one and two on the list. They already.
B
They put you up there, Joe.
C
Yeah, the way Joe talked when Joe got that lick in his system, boy.
B
Yeah, That's you, Joe.
A
Nah, nah, nah.
B
Please let Scott falls to Cal. Gave 6 and 7. Only a rough. Only a ref. The only ref. Excuse me. That doesn't give Shay flop calls.
A
Yeah, it's gonna be. It's gonna be hard for them to win in Game 6 in San Antonio. I'm sorry. Hey, hey, hey. Unless Shay come. Unless he coming with. He coming like MJ came back in the day with that four, five. Yeah. All right. I don't know.
B
Now the spurs see how it feels when another team has the advantage with the whistle. Man, most of the time, y' all get the whistle. I mean, ain't nobody compete with OKC when it comes to the whistle. Get your point. Can someone tell women to stop jump shooting, jumpers and three, and get behind the damn. Getting the damn paint? Well, Joe say he tired of that pressure, all that leaning on him, pushing on him.
A
Yeah.
B
Is it. It's a zapping his leg that is making him expend so much energy.
A
Yeah. Watch, look, look.
B
If y'. All.
A
If y' all watch him. Even on offense, when he's outside the three, he get a chance to kind of hunch over and, you know, catch his breath.
B
Yeah.
A
You know what I mean? Hell, you take your ass inside that paint, we putting hands all on you. Hands, feet, everything. You know what I mean? He tired of that damn resistance.
B
ISO, if you could pick any one player all time to start your team, who you picking? Same with you, Unc and Chad. To start an NFL team, One player, all time. Oh, I saw. Who you taking?
C
One player, One player to be around.
A
Give me Wimby here
B
all time. So if you take it one player, you get one player. You taking Wimble with Jordan. You take a Wimble with Kobe, LeBron, Kareem, Shaq.
A
Right now? Right now? Yeah, I'm taking Wimby.
B
Ocho, who you taking?
C
Football, right?
B
Yep.
C
I'm going with 12, man.
B
Brady?
C
Yeah, I'm going for 12.
B
You can't go wrong with that. I'm taking my quarterback.
C
You going with seven.
B
I'm taking seven. Spurs playing like they don't have a seven plus to use in the paint. They do. He just don't spend no time down there.
A
That ain't his game neither, man. Like, you know they've been forcing. You talking about Wimby, right?
B
They're talking about Wimby.
A
Yeah, they. They, they. They've forced him and tried to make him into this low post player. This elbow, catch at the elbow. They really. They had never. That hadn't really been his game. He just taller than every damn body, so you feel like he. He belongs right there. That man want to be out there dancing with that ball, man. But when he does. When he does assert himself down there now, he. And he. He. He a much different player, and obviously the outcome is different, but it comes with some resistance.
B
Yep. Two things can be true. Refs were worse than the O2 Kings rep in the third quarter and OKC role players made shot. Lou Dortmund, your time in OKC is up after this year. Castle and others need to protect the ball.
A
Damn, Blue Dork. You said you think it's up.
B
Probably.
A
Hold on. You must think somebody gonna pay him, or you think. You don't think they're gonna pay him?
B
They're not gonna pay him. They're not gonna pay. They. Why? When they got Wallace, that can come up. They can come up, got Wallace, that can do that. They got Caruso that could do that.
A
But he. He, he. He played. He. He's a big piece of what they do, man.
B
Joe, you know, hey, they're gonna have to make some decisions now. I had a situation with Jalen Williams in the Lakers series. You say, man, you done lost your mind. We gonna see that. Gonna be bare watching now. Cause they about to get to this apron now. They, they, they got all these draft picks that they can't sign. They're gonna have to make some decisions. Joe Ocho.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah. I just feel like Luke Dork does all the dirty work that you ain't really got guys who can do. I mean, yeah, Wallace can, but he comes off the bench. But to have a couple of those guys, bro, that's like. I think we just talking about it now. But if they end up winning the finals, you. You're gonna have to figure that out. You got to keep him.
B
They're not too much money.
A
He a free agent. After the year, that's this?
B
I think so. What is Ludo. Lou Door. He's a free agent, isn't he? They gonna try to package some things because they got three first round picks, but they only got one spot left.
A
Yeah, they gonna have to figure that out.
B
He a player option. Club option. Club option. What's his club? How much is it? Oh, no, he gone. They ain't paying 18.2. Absolutely not. This one on W. Wimy, he wanted to float around the perimeter, not getting the paint to score, have the same energy for women like they did for Chet. That's been my only thing, Joe. I've said this for Wimby. He spends far too much time at the. He's easy to guard out there. Now, granted, he's making shots like he was in game one. He's making shots like he was in game four. But I'm saying, bro, he's got to get down to get closer and get easier buckets. He's got to.
A
Yeah. See, the only thing is, is when he plays well and he's playing on the perimeter like this, nobody really says nothing. It's just like, okay, cool. If he ain't really made shots like that, you feel like he got to get down in the paint. But his game is a face up game. He ain't no back to the basket player, you know what I mean? I think just because he's 7 5, he's able to obviously do it, but he want to catch it face up, dribble, catch a little rhythm and then go into his shot because hell, in any game he's going to have an advantage.
B
Yeah, but Joe, instead of catching it at 28ft, can he catch it at 18, right? He still can do that. He can still, hey, catch the ball 18, turn around and face up and let's go to work. Can he do that? Does it always have to be at the at, beyond, at or beyond the three point line before you get the ball?
A
Well, when he catch it at 18 and turn the face, I, I still got to got to get them damn hands off me. I gotta. But if I'm out here at 25ft and I'm catching, ain't nobody touching me. That's what he don't want. I don't think he, he really wants that. Physicality is what I'm.
B
This is an old lady who remember who, who kind of remember that old OGs, Muhammad, Sam Cooke, Robinson, Clay. Without, without about the culture. Okay. One about who's gonna have a voice with unk. Recent comments wanted to go I streamed we f up. Don't think Unc was that guy but he is. I don't even know what this is. I don't know either so. But Nihar, thank you for commenting. What up big three? I saw your episode with Daniel Cormier podcast champion mindset. It was a great episode. Similar to what you had DC on Club Shae Shay. Yeah, I had a great time with dc. He's, he's an easy talk. I mean he know he loved the sport. He loves other sports and you know when you, you compete and you perform at that level, obviously you got to have a championship mindset. So I had a great time and thank you guys. Appreciate it. Can you shout out my son True for his ninth birthday out of Detroit? What up though? True, dad. Love you my boy. We sending him to Orlando with his grandparents. Spirit done messed up the game.
A
What? Wow.
B
But I don't know what it. True. Happy ninth birthday, man. Hey, thank you for tuning in. I appreciate that. Happy ninth birthday. He says going down to. Going down to his grandparents in Orlando. I'm sure the grandparents probably gonna have him at Disney.
C
Disney a couple times.
A
Yeah.
C
Epcot, Busch Gardens. Boy, everything down there, huh?
B
Yeah. Yeah. Joe, Ocho, that Busch Garden, you know, Jodic. Busch Gardens,
A
Bush Gardens.
C
Yeah. Joe, you know.
A
What's that?
B
Oh, yo, Telly. Ocho, come on.
C
You know. You know what it is. You know, it's only one. It's only one place where the bush is at,
A
man. I don't know. They went over my head, man. I told y' all a little too advanced for me. I had to catch on. You gotta talk slow so I know you know what I mean. Hey, hey, hey. You gotta slow it down a little bit.
B
Yeah.
A
What?
B
Yo, I. Your ISO. Okay. What's up? What y' all think about Giannis to the Spurs? Any chance it could happen this summer? Absolutely. They don't need him.
C
No.
A
Hell, no, you won't.
B
You want Wimby to grow. Wimby don't need to take a back seat to Giannis. You got a great thing going.
A
You got a better chance of LeBron and Giannis teaming up.
B
Yeah. Oo. Go watch Joe's bag work video and watch how he saws Paul Pierce down. My boy.
A
Stand down.
C
Man, I just. I didn't study Joe, man.
A
Hey, hey.
C
I can tell you what move Joe is gonna do based on where he is on the court. If he got the ball in his left hand, most of the time, he'll twing, twing left, left, and come back right. If he got the ball in his right hand, he's on the right side of the court, he gonna twing, twing twice, twice to the right and come back to the left. I didn't. I know Joe, man. I didn't read. I know him like a book.
B
That's dang, Joe.
C
I didn't study this move in the. In the low block or the low post, if you catch it, if he's on the left side. If he's on the left side of. Of the rim and he's playing with his. His back to the post, he gonna. He gonna fake right and come back and shoot and. And shoot left. I already know. I didn't study them.
B
Hey, Chad, everything you gonna do, I'm ready.
A
Hey, Chad, I gotta. I. I gotta update my damn resume. I see that,
C
Joe. I promise you. I've been talking trash like this because I've. I've studied. I've studied only seven. Only seven years worth of film based on the moves you like to do, based on where you are, where Your body placement is on the court, and it's the same regardless of who you plan. So, I mean, I. I got it. I got it. I'm ready. I'm ready, but that's how I know. And it's not like you change. So when we play, I'm gonna know exactly where you're going.
B
You ready for that? You. You swiping it every time.
C
No, I'm. I'm gonna play. I'm a favor. I'm gonna favor the side that he
B
wants that you know he coming back to.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
Hey, Joe.
C
Yeah.
A
The problem. The problem you're gonna have is that you so small, I ain't gonna even see you when I raise up. You know what I'm saying? Hey, don't raise up into that tall, man jump shot. I ain't gonna even see you, bro.
C
Joe, the funny thing about it is you got to bring the ball up. I'm swiping down on the ball when you bringing it up, Joe.
A
That's what I'm saying. My pickup placements, you ain't gonna know because they so high. My pickup placements are high. I don't have to dip. You know, I can't.
C
And that's the problem. I'm gonna be in your shirt, Joe. I'm gonna be in your chest. I'm gonna be. I'm gonna be on you.
B
Hey. I'm gonna be.
C
Hey. And when I slide these puppies, boy, it's a rap, boy. Yeah, I studied, Joe.
A
Hey. Hey. I'm gonna make sure Chad has something good boy they can talk about for a long time. I promise you that.
C
You're gonna be mad as hell, but how the hell he know everywhere I'm at? How you in my hip pocket?
B
Like, what the hell? Sup, fellas? T.J. here, unc, ocho, ISO. What does women need to do in the off season to improve his game? Get stronger.
C
Yeah.
A
Stronger base, you gotta keep. Just work on them legs, bro. You gotta have a stronger base because that's what guys gonna always try to use their advantage. That's to get low and push you out and be physical. Because, hell, outside of that. Yeah. Outside of that, there's nothing else. Nobody. Nothing you can do.
B
Yeah. Cause leverage, the taller you are, the less you have of it.
A
Yeah.
B
Go ahead, Ocho.
C
I was gonna say, remember when Giannis came in the league? He was. He was wiry like that.
B
Yeah.
C
But he was wiring just like that. Yana got that Janice got that muscle on him now, man.
B
Yeah. Man can put on.
A
Yeah.
B
Women Got that KD frame.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
He gave five pounds. Actually, Katie gave five ounces since he's been in the NBA.
A
Yeah, yeah. But I think. I think he get that base stronger because he already got a nice touch around the goal.
B
Absolutely does.
A
Even. I'm saying even if he ain't dunking it, even if he five to seven feet from the goal, he still got a super nice touch. So by getting that base stronger to where you can withstand that. That pressure, you'll be all right.
B
No one wants to talk about Wimby being under 10 boards in back to back game. Yeah, he's. I mean, they've done a great job of like when the ball goes up of putting a body on him and don't let him run free.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, he had the 24. They, you know, ages like they didn't real baby. Didn't realize he was gonna be that active.
A
Nah.
B
But since the first two games, they've done a great job. In the last three games, they've done a great job of keeping him off the glass.
A
Yeah, yeah. Hey, hey. And they do a great job. I'm saying OKC guards, they be attacking him like they're not trying to go around them a whole lot. Trying to finish. They going right at his body, trying to get a foul or hopefully, you know, that way it kind of knocks him out to play to where he can't get the rebound. And they getting put backs and things like that.
B
Exactly. Go right at him because he's going to challenge. And then here come their big right behind him to get the rebound and get the put back.
A
Yep.
B
Tony Brothers and the other two blind mice did a number tonight to help us under with. That being said, you can't carelessly turn the ball over. Hey, what you said.
C
And the other two blind mice. Hey, whoever said that, that was a good one. That was a good one.
B
Ocho not gonna make any shots. He's gonna smoke ISO have him looking like hard cone.
A
They saying you ain't gonna make no shots.
C
No. I'm gonna have you looking like. Harden the cone, man.
A
Please. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Where I'm from, partner, if you couldn't play defense, you couldn't play.
C
Hey, Joe, you just seen me playing defense on some of the top college players in college football right now, right? You seen they couldn't go nowhere, right? You see me knocking everybody down, right, Joe?
A
Yeah.
C
It's gonna be the same thing for you. Cause you ain't nowhere near as fast as them right now.
A
Okay, well, I want to See you come do that over here with your tough ass.
C
All right.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah, Man, y' all had all that food for a cookout with no grill. Just chips, alcohol, and music. Those takes were funny. Who are you guys? Top five teammates ever.
C
Oh, top five.
B
Yeah.
C
Carson, T.J. husmanzada. Sean Smith. Funny as hell. Justin Smith. I'm not sure if y' all remember Justin Smith.
B
He was just going to the 49ers.
C
Yeah, Justin Smith. And probably. Probably to round out my five.
A
Mine's probably Sean. Marion, you know Sean. Sean used to come to. He used to come to Arkansas in the summertime. He got family in Arkansas.
B
Okay.
A
Josh Smith. Him and his pops used to come to Arkansas and hang out. They used to come down to Little Rock and hang. And hang out. I'm gonna throw Jeff Teague in there. We had some good times. Oh, Q. Rich. Quinn Richardson. We played together only one year with the Suns, but we hung out probably more than anybody. You know, they on the team. Hey, we used to have 2k tournaments at the crib. Unc Ocho, he bring his partner over.
B
We.
A
He come over my crib. I have my boys there. We play 2K all day, bro. And have tournaments all day.
C
You got to play 2k, Joe, man.
A
I'm meaning 2k. O. Joe. I know you can't play that, but don't. Don't act like you can play that. I think where I'm at four. That's four.
B
Yep.
A
Let's see who else. I probably. Oh, Gennaro Pargo. We played college ball together, and we had a chance to play here in Atlanta together for, I think, two years. That's my dog. Top five.
B
I'm assuming y' all didn't know. Nobody picked no college, so I'm assuming. Assuming we doing all NFL. I'm gonna say Keith Burns is one. Foots. Probably Ray and Woody. Cause contrary to what has transpired over the years since then, we did those two years in Baltimore. We did everything. There was never a situation where if you saw one of us, you saw the other two of us. Us. And if you saw them, you saw me, and if you saw me, you saw them. Especially when he was in Baltimore. We season over. We go to Vegas, we go to la, we hang. So we had some great time. We had some really, really great times. Sorry, Ocho. The man behind you got the layup dog. Yeah, you did. Ms. Ocho. Ocho Madrid isn't very good, so that's not saying much. Ocho Frico. Ocho needs the chillo. Oo.
A
Can't.
B
Hoopo. Okay. Seeing six. Okay. You seek my wife, Fritzi. Happy birthday. She just turned 21.
C
Oh, you got married already 21. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to you Happy birthday, dear. Oh, Fritzi, Fritzi. Happy birthday to you. Hey, hey. I got a good voice on me, huh? Joe, she.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
You know, you ain't bad. You ain't bad. You fair for a square.
B
What? Ah, I hear what you said.
A
You hear me?
C
Nah, I just repeated.
A
I said. I said, you fan for a square.
C
Okay, okay. Let me tell you. But you ain't doing that. But making it worse for yourself, huh? Okay.
B
Happy birthday, prisony. Oh, you need to host the instigating class, man. That be Joe and Ocho. I ain't doing nothing.
A
Now, you do your job. You play your partner, you play, you play your part.
B
It's okay.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
Hey, Ocho, this Gentleman said he's 100 disabled from the military. And I'm cooking Ocho 1v1. And I'm 5 7. When you could come back to Cincinnati. Man said he a hundred percent.
C
100% disabled.
B
Mobility challenged.
C
Let me hear the wheelchair. Huh?
B
I'm saying immobility challenged. I mean, people be out there talking about them. Talking about people. That's so we lose the term. We don't say homeless. We say unhoused. We don't say disabled. We say mobility challenged.
C
Okay, well, if I'm gonna push him out of the wheelchair,
A
You gotta chill.
C
Hey, he. He came at me. I mean, what you mean? It's fair game.
B
What if Brian went to the Clippers and teams up with the Claw?
A
Who they big, though? They just gave up Zubot.
B
They had no bigs. They ain't got no bigs.
C
He gonna be right back. He gonna be right back in the city.
A
The Lakers, he getting his ass out the West.
B
Why is it so hard for the media to tell LeBron to hang it up? It's over, man. Go enjoy your life. Because the media doesn't have that responsibility, right?
A
And the man still playing at a high level.
B
Let me ask you a question. The media didn't tell LeBron Jordan to go. They didn't tell Kobe. They didn't tell the media. Never told any other great player when to hang it up. So why is it the meter's responsibility to tell him? And again, most of the time, guys leave. They just don't have anything in the tank. Now, if you want to say LeBron James is not going to win another title, you. I can. Okay. I'm not going to fight you too. Tough on that, considering I don't know where he's going to be next year. But if you say the man, I mean, like, he can't play, that's a lie, right?
C
That's a lot.
B
That's. That's just not true. We've never seen somebody at the age of 38, 39, 40, bleed this consistent lateness their career. Now, whether or not that equates to another championship, that's. That's another story to debate. But I'm talking about when did the media reserve the right to be able to tell players, okay, it's time for you to go. That's not their responsibility. Their job is to report, give you a story. You know, storylines report what's going on. Their job is not to tell somebody when to go. That's a. That's a personal and a family decision, not a media decision.
A
Unless. Hey, unless they ain't calling your ass no more.
C
Yeah.
B
Lady Ray says, hey, guys, I got a joke for y'. All. Why did the man fall into the well? Because he couldn't see that well. Lady Ray been hanging out with you. Ocho. Nightcap. Big Three versus Jon Jones, Mike Tyson, Brock Lesnar in a bar fight. Who fight? And what are the outcomes if we
A
get into a fight?
B
With who? Jon Jones, Mike Tyson and Brock Lesnar.
A
Who y' all got? Who y' all gonna take?
B
I'm going upside the head with this bottle.
C
I'm gonna take John Jones.
A
You go. You thinking John Jones?
C
Yeah, I know. I know his weakness. I know. I know how to beat him.
A
He gonna put you in submission. It's gonna be over with.
B
Yeah, but since you. Well, if they don't know it's a fight and we know it's a fight, it's over for them. As long as nobody tell them we coming, we good. Golden State will be his next team. Bet whatever you have to lose.
A
Damn. I don't see that, bro.
B
You don't see that? I mean, they got make a move. They tried to make a move this year, Joe.
A
They got the money to go get him.
B
I guess they'd have to move off Jimmy Butler.
C
Damn. Oh, that'll hurt.
A
I just think that whistle is.
B
We saw that thing look like an Olympics, Joe.
A
Yeah, but hell, think about OKC and the Spurs. That's eight. That's eight times. Just you, four and four. You want? I don't know.
B
As every day passes, Brian to Minnesota make more and more sense. They need a vet to complete in the new age West. Braun And Ant.
A
Hold on, hold on. Not really. I like Kyra. I want to see Cash. I want to see Kyrie over there with Ant man.
B
Kyrie and that man.
A
Yeah, yeah. He need another ball handle over there. Like I ain't saying Brian in a ball handler, but I just think Kyrie, he'll be perfect over there with them. With them long athletic dudes. He. Cause Kyrie, he ain't a super liability on defense. He gonna at least try, you know what I mean? But if you got Jay McDaniels and Ant man, you know them two, they can guard. Yes, he takes some pressure off. And over there.
B
Please tell me why Jacoby Jones, rest his soul, didn't win the Super Bowl. MVP of Super Bowl 20, the 2012 when the Ravens beat the 49ers. Your guess is as good as mine. But normally the quarterback. Because Joe Flacco had played so well throughout the entirety of the playoffs.
C
Yeah, he was born.
B
Jacoby had one. Had one hell of a game called a touchdown. 109 yard return, kick return, some big passes. Big time. Yeah, he played really well. And if Michael Jordan didn't exist, what player do you think would run the 90s era?
C
Bird? Magic?
B
No, they were done.
C
Dominique maybe?
B
No, look, Elijah won. Went to. Won two championships.
A
Yeah.
B
The Pistons won one. The spurs won one. That was it. The rest of them went to the. Went to, what you call them. So with that being said, ooh, a
C
big man running the league.
B
But you got to look at it. Joe, Elijah, Juan, Carl, Malone, they were the two best players.
A
Yeah.
B
In Barkley, the two best players in the league. You got to realize Magic went to the NBA Finals in 91 and he ended up. He ended up having to retire. He won the. He won the MVP. League MVP.
A
Yeah.
B
In 90.
A
Yeah.
B
But then he had to retire. Bird back was gone. He was not the same player.
A
So they saying if Jordan wasn't playing.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah. Malone and Barkley probably both. Probably would have got a ring here. Yes.
B
And Elijah one.
A
Yeah.
B
