Charles Barkley calls out people that complained that Thunder were physical with Victor Wimiyama. This is what Chuck said you people at home and TV talking about they Were physical women. Man, y' all need to stop. I've been kissed harder. There is no excessive file for people thinking that that's physicality. You. Y' all need to shut the hell up. Bp, what do you think of the way Hardenstein. Because he played a lot more and he would, did he did. He was physical. I don't think it was excessive, but I think they could have called some fouls. What's your take on that?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I like it, man. For real. You know, obviously when somebody comes in, you know what I'm saying, stands on business, drops a big 40 and 20 ball like that, you got to have some pride about yourself. You got to have some, some, some nuts about yourself. And come on and you know, know what I'm saying? Be a little more physical. Whatever it is. I like that the refs weren't calling all those ticky tack fouls. It is the Western Conference finals. We are three games, four games away from somebody winning this side and moving on to the NBA finals. So obviously all the little pulling the arm stuff I don't probably agree with. But being physical in a, in the game, I, I love that. I honor that for, for playoff hoops. I like the physicality. And then on top of that, it's a must win for us. So I'm giving it all I got, no matter what. Nobody say if I fat out this, I'm going out my way. You know what I'm saying? I'm out here full fledged because we down, we down 01. Ain't no way in hell we can go down 02. Going into San Antonio, that's a whole different feeling. So right now I'm all in. I don't even care. You're gonna tell me stop four, five times before I stop doing it.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hello. Look, look. Hey. And you know, bp, you guarding somebody like wimmy, bro, you gotta do your damn work early.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yes.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, you ain't getting inside this damn three point line without a damn fight. You hear me? You know what I mean? Because a guy like that, you don't want to let him catch it in this sweet spot. Cause man, I seen dude take one dribble and he already at the damn rim. Like you can't have that. You know what I mean? So I enjoy the physicality too. Cause I put myself in Hardenstein shoes. I'm like, if I were going to be here, I'm gonna be holding, grabbing, doing all type of too.
Host
But what we doing about the hair pulling, Bobby? Bp, what we doing about that hair pull? They grab?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I Don't think you try to do that.
Host
It doesn't matter if he tried to ask a question. Have you ever found somebody and didn't intend to do it? Is that how they base files on intent?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Have I ever found somebody?
Host
Common file flagrant files? Is intent the wind up?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I didn't got a couple. I didn't got a couple flaggers in my, in my, in my time.
Host
I know, but I'm. Have you found somebody and you didn't intend to file them?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Nah, I know it's a foul.
Host
Okay, so what you. Hold on. So why the hell you be complaining to the official like this here then if you knew it was a foul?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Nah, that's just like. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's part of. Part of the. Part of. You know what I'm saying, Nobody really think they foul, you know what I'm saying? But you know what I'm saying? Then like me, I can't. I can't just follow just hard. And I gotta at least make it like, hey, hey, hey. Like, hey, they're gonna throw me so far out of there, I'm gonna be sitting the back I don't already shower waiting. Everybody come now. I ain't trying to feel that, man. I'm cool.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Oh, yeah, yeah. Hey, hey, you know them repeat offenders, they, they cut. They, they. They watch out a little harder.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
We ain't got no lease, man. No, Lee, ain't no lease.
Host
But you know what BP you. You know the, the spurs sent that in. All that little stuff that Hardenstein was doing that they got away with, you know that. Sent that to the league. Now what you think these officials gonna be looking for?
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
They ain't gonna say nothing.
Host
I bet you. I bet you they do. What you want to bet?
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, hey, Uncle Joe, Uncle, Uncle Joe, you gotta understand, everybody on that court is at a disadvantage because Wimy is out there. The man is an alien. He's 75. Think about what he can do. Because of what he can do and the advantages he has on the court, the ref is gonna hold the whistle a little bit.
Host
I guarantee you he got the.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
He got the place.
Host
I bet you Wimby shoot at least. At bare minimum, Wimby shoot at least 10 free throws tomorrow.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, hey, hey. I go even farther. I go even farther to say, I bet you Hardenstein have two fouls in the first quarter. For damn sure I got him having two fouls because, you know, you got to be physical with him. And I just feel like in San Antonio since, you know, this has been the, the whole thing about, you know, the physicality. I feel like the refs are really, really going to be paying attention. And like Unc say, yeah, they really, they, they. I don't think they gonna hold that whistle too much tomorrow.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
But hold on, hold on, Uncle Joe. If you don't hold your whistle right, and every foul that happens to Wimby, that's gonna happen all game long. Because it's the only way to even have a chance. Forget stopping him having a chance to even try and stop him, you gotta foul him. Cause you can't. You can't play ball just straight up.
Host
There was sometimes that, that he wasn't even looking at the rim. He was just turning and like he was an offensive lineman blocking with me.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, you got. Hey, hey, hey. Sometimes you got to play like that, B.B. no, hey, look, if I can't get the rebound, I damn sure better not let my man get it. So I might face guard your ass. Yeah. Just push you up out of there. I understand it, man. I understand that. I like what OKC has done since game one. And that's been their adjustment. Look, we gonna have to be physical as hell. I ain't saying foul him, but bump him. Give him them shoulders, give him them little forearm, give him that little chicken wing every now and then. You know, just, just, just to keep him off balance. Because if you let him roam free, OO and BP you see what he
Host
gonna do to you?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Let him. You let him get to his spots comfortably. Man, we in trouble.
Host
I guarantee. Watch. I guarantee you he gonna shoot at least 10 free throws. They gonna call a lot of that clutching. Not the physicality. The physicality is what it is. I think the unnecessary clutching. I think they're going to call that. I think they're going to call that tomorrow. You. We'll find out early on, within the first two to three minutes of the ball game, Joe, we going to see how the game officiated. That's going to tell you how they're going to call the game moving forward.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah, that's how.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
That's how I'm going do, Joe.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Right?
Superhuman Shaq (Shaquille O'Neal)
What?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Huh?
Host
All right.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Don't get me started. You see, I got, I got. I got my homeboy on here, man. We'll jump your ass tonight.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Come on now, man. Jump.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Man, I beat Bobby, too. Bobby can't beat me. Bobby, I'll put your last man.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Stop it, man. I'm 260, man. 260.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah. Yeah.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
To what?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
You see that? You see that? Right there. You see that right there?
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
You know what I do with 260?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
You see that, Ocho, man? You see that right there, man? You see that right there, man?
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
I do, too, little man. Hey, Bobby, once I get you in space.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
No, no, no, no, no.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, bp, he ain't got no handle like that. All you gotta do is play off. Give him a little room. His ass can't shoot neither.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
He probably jumped high on his jumper, too. He won the jump high on their jump shots.
Host
No, he ain't got no jump. Don't worry about it. He'll rebound. He ain't got no jump shot. Bp don't worry about that. He a rebounder.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah. They say that wasn't the receiver
Host
shooting the basketball or something entirely different. And shoot the basketball is something entirely different. There's a lot of guys that can shoot. But I guarantee, if the quarterback were to drop back and throw.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey, oo, hey, oo, man. Who you gonna get a stop on? Who you gonna get a stop on on here, though? Can you get a stop?
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
I can. Listen, they call me the ISO stopper Bobby. They can give you the call in the low block. I bet you won't scope, man, we can run that.
Host
Hey, bp. Bp, don't we run that anytime I
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
fly out to you, I fly out to. We can record it. We can put it on your show.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
YouTube.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Don't worry.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
He.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
He got a ass whooping reserve right over here first. He. He already know it. Don't worry, I. Hey, I got something for him.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, matter of fact, hey, you know. You know what's funny? Let me tell you. Let me keep my hoop stool with.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey, I keep my hoop st with me. See? I'm ready. See, they right here with me.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Oh, yeah. Matter of fact, hold on. I'll tell you what. I'm gonna make it easy for y'. All. How about y' all both show up at the same time?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
What we doing today? O show?
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
I'm gonna run with him to 11. I'm run with you, right?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
I'm gonna tell you ain't even gonna score against me. I'm gonna keep it real. I already told you.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. You know what?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
You know, Mama.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Dear God, forgive me, man, you got me up.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Let me see how your form is. Let me see. Let me see. Let me see. Let me see.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
You want to see it? Hey, hey, hey, Joe. Hey, I ain't gay, but watch the wrist break.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Host
That thing shot at the bp?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, he ain't got no, full extension on that.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, you can't.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
You can't.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, you don't get that elbow up, man. You gotta get that elbow up above that.
Host
He's shooting on the poppy shot. He's shooting on the poppy shot. Y' all come on now. BP Joe, he got a little poppy shot. Go. He can't get.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
He can't do it like that. That right there ain't nothing.
Host
You gotta get that thing in the
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
air a little bit more.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, I, I. Man, my kids done lost my damn basketball.
Host
I don't know if you guys. I'm sure you. You guys did, but if you. When you had. Did you have to guard Wimy? So what, what, what was your strategy in having to guard Wimy? Obviously, you don't want him to get the ball where he wants to get it, so you try to be as physical as you possibly can with him. But what's your strategy in dealing with Wimy?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I play against Wimy three times so far, I think. Couple of times. Yeah, he was out for injury and things because I'm on the. I'm on the east coast, so east coast team play west coast teams twice. Home and away, right? I think our strategy, bro, was, you know what I'm saying? Just do your work early. Like Joe say, bro. Do your work early with a tall seven fold guy like that. Anything. Obviously, if he roll into the realm of you probably want a high tag, you know what I'm saying? Weak side. If you don't get no hot tag on him, it's just. It's either a lot for him or Castle and Fox and Harper actually do a hell of a job with hitting that midi in the middle, too. Push out midi like, that's like a great shot for them because the big got to play back in the drop. And then they got the live threat right there. And if we get a little hit like now, they got downhill right to the midi elbow action. So it makes it tough. It's just not him that makes it hard. Like, him rolling kind of opens up everything else. You know what I'm saying? It kind of unlocks the offense. It unlocks the. The backside threes for Champagne. Champagne should. Hey, get them boys a hug, man. For real. Like, they. They got that boy real name out here off them backside threes. And him being able to hold that follow through and knock them threes down timely. Timely fashion. So it get tough in that pick and roll with them. For sure. I would say doing your work early and then like I said, him being able to Roll to that realm just unlocks. So much for the offense.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, look, I. I agree with BP saying. See that back, man. If. If I'm that man in that strong corner and they running the pick and roll on my side, my man has to tag. If it's Wimby rolling, he has a tag, hell. Cause if you ain't that attack, he throwing it to the rim. That man barely jumping, bro. It's on your head, you know what I mean? Like, BP say champion is sitting over there. I'm talking about eating Eden. You hear me? I'm talking about big boy. He's sitting over there buffet style, you know?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey, bro, just be ready to shoot every time, champ. Anytime the ball come to champagne hand watching tomorrow, as soon as it come in his hand, lock and load. I'm getting right up under it.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Cash.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Cash getting right up under.
Host
They be getting a lot of. They be getting a lot of great look at threes because what choice do you have? You ain't got no choice.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Like you say, like we said in the, in the, in the. In the Nick series, you got to find somebody here to beat you. Like. Yeah, you don't want women to beat you. Just rolling to the rim. And they playing two on one every time in the pick and roll because a guard getting hit, he ain't fight over wi me. Just got a little bit of. Of fast roll. Cuz sometime wimy he speed roll, like he might just touch and go. You know what I'm saying? So like, he might get up. He. He might get up under the screen, touch and roll to the rim and get him one. So it get tricky, bro, because that. It's that low man. And the, the low man in NBA damn near the most important guy, bro. Oh, yeah, he the most important guy. That low man, he control everything, man. He. He can. He can see what's going on. He can help the tag, man. He could tell hot man X out backside. He go get the. The slot, man. Like, it just get tricky when. When you got a real good rim rim lob thread out there, bro.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, hey. And what even. And what gets more tricky is if you got guards like Fox, Harper and Castle because you know you can't trap them guys, you know what I mean? Like BP say, the big gonna have to be below Wimby. So I got floaters all day damn long, you know what I mean? And those guys are great in the middle area. They great in getting in the teeth of the defense and spraying out for threes. This is why San Antonio is so good, bro. Wemby just draws so much attention that, hell, it helps out all these other guys and they don't even show up on the stat sheet.
Host
Man, I watch Wimby. Wimby ain't fair, man. I watch Wimby lay the ball up on the right side. It missed the layup, and he dunked the backhand like this here on the left side. I'm like, how the hell. What the hell is that?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, you look at a lot of them live dunks he get BPB because of that damn low, man. He's so damn little that by the time harping them get in the paint, all they gotta do, even if you there, just throw it up there and hell, he just.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
He drop it in and then he just run back like irregular. Hey, hey, hey.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Matter of fact, you know. You know what this. I'm curious, bp. You've seen. You've seen two games so far with the spurs and Thunder playing. Obviously the series is tied. Tied one one.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Who you.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Who, who you got in this series probably to come out. I know, I know it's going seven,
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
but who you got it depends on. Not a fair analysis without knowing who's available on the injury report. For real, in my, in my opinion, right, that the injury report gonna dictate a lot in this series. If the spurs don't got Harper and Fox, it can get sideways real fast. Yeah, if they got one, just one of them, I could see him still fighting and it'd be a good game going seven, whatever it is. But they need one of those guys like okc, they can play without Jalen Williams, you know what I'm saying? Like, they've sold and they've been earn that right for people to believe in them without Jalen Williams, you know what I'm saying? They started the year off 24:1 or something without Jalen Williams, you know what I'm saying? They won this last playoff series, swept Brian without Jalen Williams, you know what I'm saying? Like so, right. It all depends on who healthy for the Spurs. Like, I'm not really worried about Jaden Williams being out for the Thunder, you know what I'm saying? But yeah, Harper and. Yeah, like if Harper and Fox out, it can get. It can get tricky for okc. I mean, for, for the spurs. For real.
Host
You still got caruso, you got A.J. mitchell, you got Case and Wallace, you got Isaiah Joe, you got Lou Dor, McCain, Lou Dort. Yeah, yeah. So you got so many other guys at that position. Now, if I'm Out Fox. Harper was his back with his back replacement. Now I'm without Fox and Harper.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
It's tough. Like, now you gotta sub, man. I wanna. Like. Like I say, April, like we said earlier. Hey, one of them guys been in that lab hoping they can get their shots up.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
It's that time. You ready?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Superhuman Shaq (Shaquille O'Neal)
Yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey, it's y'. All. Time to time now. Like, for real, like, I. I sure
Host
hope they don't put me. I'll show hope by my lab work. Don't have to get shown in the Western Conference final. Did I give me a couple regular season games first. Ocho. I ain't really my first start. I wanted to come in the championship game.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, hey, listen, you can't. Hey, you can't complain about damn minutes. When they come, your ass be ready.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah. Yeah. I remember my first playoff start came in the Eastern Conference finals.
Host
Damn.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
My first. My first playoff start came in Eastern Conference finals. Championship year. Giannis had went down with a hyperextending knee in Atlanta. Game four, Game five. Coach Bud come to me said, hey, man, I need you to start. I said, hey, man, I've been waiting this my whole life.
Host
Yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I wear this my whole life. I popped out 25 with a dub.
Host
You feel me?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Like, yeah, they just gotta be. You just gotta be ready, bro.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah. All times, bro. That's part of being a pro.
Host
That is. That is. It's gonna be a very interesting game. You know, a game three.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Okay. What you doing, bro?
Host
What you doing right now? You getting ready?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Oh, that's my. Listen, you gotta. That ain't gonna work.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
No, I'mma hit you. I'm hit you.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
No, no, no. Ain't nobody getting Euro stepped in one. Hey, man, I wish I would. Somebody get Euro stepped in one. That's crazy.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
I mean. I mean, that's how good I am. I'm gonna Euro step your ass in one.
Host
Damn. Damn, baby.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, B.P. you ain't got nothing to worry about.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. BP Thinkers. Hey, BB Think this is the joke.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah. Yeah. It okay? Yeah. It's funny to me, too.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
We're gonna see. Who we gonna see? Hey, we're gonna see.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I'm gonna get your number. I'll get your number out of this, man.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
My number eight.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Y' all need to put this on. Y' all need to put this on, y'. All. Nightcap, nightcap. Hoop session, man.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
We pull up. We pull up. Do something, man.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Damn.
Host
Yeah, you try to pull up. You try. You try to get that that get out because Joe say ain't gonna be much left when he get done with him.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
So hey, that man go, hey, that boy took enough of a beating.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
That's enough. That's enough.

When I first got here in Milwaukee, you know, we were a championship team with championship pedigree with, you know, views of winning the championship. My first year on the team, we ended up winning the chip, you know what I'm saying? Coach Bud get fired A couple. A couple. You know what I'm saying? Years later, you know what I'm saying? Coach Bud was just a different coach. He's real strict. He wanted like a players coach. He wanted, he wanted coach that let the players, you know what I'm saying? Know what I'm saying? Do certain things. He was like a dictator. He wanted to do everything he wanted. He wanted to like be control of everything. He was a control freak. But it worked for him and it worked for us. At the time so it was cool, you know what I'm saying? But you still got guys on your team. That's you know what I'm saying? Of caliber who they is, they kind of want to like open up and be more such and such, you know what I'm saying? We get Adrian Griffin. He was there for a couple months. He still, he seems still a great guy. Shout out Adrian Griffin. And then you get Doc River. He's just a super player coach, bro. Like super player coach always about the players, what the players want. And he's super lenient on super. On certain things. Obviously when, when Miles and Brianna Stewart their podcast when shared, shared and aired online. If you ain't see my tweet, I tweeted like, hey, bro, is. Is this AI, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, that was hey, like, you know what I'm saying? Because I, I don't know what to believe no more, Uncle Real, cuz, you know, it got, it got so much

forum, you know what I'm saying? I didn't, I didn't believe that, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, damn, like for real. So I've been on the team for six years, bro, and you know what I'm saying? I ain't never seen him, you know what I'm saying? Late to anything, obviously, superstar players, you play any, any professional sport, you know what I'm saying? Superstar players get kind of superstar treatment, you know what I'm saying? I'm not here to take up for Yanas or whatever it is, but you know what I'm saying, after the game, if my man Is. Is 40 minutes, 50 minutes late, it's because God damn. See, I didn't got body slammed out there on the court. See, I didn't. I, I got, I got 30 and threw me on the ground. I didn't, I didn't got five, six times, hit the flow 18 times. I gotta get my. After the game, live, get treatment, got media. So like, I don't really understand the oh, yo, we, we, we late or whatever it is. I never understood that. But at the same time, I do, I do feel like as a leader of a team who've been here for a minute, who've been here for six years, like, I had to clear that part up, bro. Like, yeah, like when it's. I think it's kind of out of context when a. Like, oh yeah, late, it might have been like, oh yeah, like after the game or, you know, I'm Saying I get treatment after the game. Like, just clear that up. Like, might be late after the game, because you know what I'm saying, the bus, the bus took off, they met the plane or whatever it is because somebody was getting treatment. Everybody getting treatment, like, whatever it is. But it wasn't nothing like our culture messed up or like we over here just running over Doc Rivers or something. I don't. I wouldn't put it in that aspect at all.
Host
But what he said is that we're scheduled to take off from a flight and the flight might be scheduled to leave at 2:32. He said guys were showing up an hour late, maybe two hours late. He didn't mention anything after the play. Now, I. Hey, I ain't trying to stir up nothing.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey, man, weekend.
Host
What did he get? Okay, clear this up. What did he get wrong? Because Pat Bam said he played with Milwaukee and Giannis was never late. So this man just came out and Li. Did he lie? If he lied, just say, hey, man, he lied.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, I think. I think he just kind of got carried away. I think it got. Just kind of got carried away. Obviously you got a podcast now and you know, just, you know, saying, sitting here chatting sometime for real, for real, on these zoom calls and things like that. Like, you kind of forget that it's live. You kind of forget, you know what I'm saying? Like, you kind of forget that it's gonna get posted online. You kind of forget all that. You kind of get lost in the conversation. You get lost in doing things. And you know what I'm saying, as a human being, I'm a capper. Like, I'm an over exaggerator too. Like, I ain't gonna sit here and allow nobody or something, but if I'm talking to my homeboy, my friend or something, I might just get him hyped up or something, juice the story up a little bit more. But I'm here just to say, like, nah, bro, as a leader of the team who've been here six years, who pride myself on respect, who pride myself on winning, building habits, all that, man, I don't. It wasn't nothing like that. It was, if anything, if. If big brother Late, I ain't here to take up, like I said, but brother Late is from out the game getting treatment because I didn't went to war tonight, you feel me? Like, that's. That's probably the only time somebody wait on somebody for real.
Host
What about the meetings? He say meetings got film session, guys come late sometimes.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
They wouldn't come hey, hey, I'm get to sh. For real sh. You know what I'm saying? I might, I might skip me a, a, a treatment session and we in Utah. We got LA tonight, we going to la. I pr. I pride me on God stands to stand out there late, you know what I'm saying? I probably on God stand out there late, you know what I'm saying? They treatment in every time where it is. I might, I might, I might, I might say, hey, no, I don't, I don't need no ice today. Go get me in the shower, man.
Host
We got la.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
We going to LA for a couple days. You. You know what I'm saying?
Host
But yeah,
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
hey, hey, I think even, even listening to bp, you saying Doc Rivers is a player's coach. Doc used to coach a veteran guy, so I can see how he's lenient like that, you know, coaching that Boston Celtics team. Because when you got. The thing is, when your top guys hold each other accountable, bro, the coach ain't really got to do a whole hell of a lot, you know what I mean? And I think Doc has been put in those situations, especially dealing with that Boston team with kg, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. Hell, everybody else just kind of fell in line because those guys were, you know, real true leaders and obviously ended up.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
It's just tough though. It's just tough though. Yeah. Think about it too though. Big brothers like we in Milwaukee and we got championship aspirations, like, you know what I'm saying? So, like it's the littlest thing that we do gonna get, you know what I'm saying, exaggerated because everybody trying to get Yanis to leave, you know, we like everybody trying to start a state of narrative up, like that's just what it is. So like any little thing, any little five game losing streak, like that's been like the narrative for like five years. So I kind of just get it and I kind of just take it with a grain of salt. For real. Like, ain't nothing wrong with the culture and none of that. I ain't here to dissect team. Team drama. Like somebody said online, I call it how I see it. We got a cool ass team with a full 18 guys who mess with each other. We just didn't have a good year this year. That's all it was.
Host
Let me ask you this. Considering what was said, how does, how do you guys. If he's back on the team now? You don't know what I don't know if you talked to Giannis, I don't know. And Jimmy Haslam, who owns half of the team, a large chunk of the team, says, look, either he signs the extension or he's going to get traded. Now, with that being said, you back in that locker room.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
Miles Turner comes back, Hey, BP, because like you said, you've been there six years. I think you've been in the league, what, 11 years now, BP 11 years, bro.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
So you, you, you know certain things because, hey, the worst thing is, dude be talking and they be talking to their girlfriend, their wife, and they be pillow talking. And again, hey,
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
yeah, man, I would say like this, like, especially if you on a team that didn't make the playoffs. I think right now, in this, in this period, while the season's still going on, while guys about to start ramping their workouts back up, start trending towards their next season, I think it's just super important right now that you kind of just focus on your craft, your body and your mind. All the extra stuff that's going on, you can't control as a pro. You gotta control the controllables. That's your work ethic. That's you being a pro every day. And as you having the right attitude towards what's going on, obviously, right now, I don't know what's gonna happen. I don't know if Yanni gonna be on the team. I don't know if I'm gonna be on the team. I don't know who gonna be here. But one thing I'm gonna do each and every year is prepare myself for whatever is to come. So when that time, when that time comes and we all in the locker room, it shouldn't be no bad blood. Whatever it is, I'm here to fight. I'm here to win. I'm here to do my job.
Host
You got to have a conversational bp. You got to say, hey, bro, bro, look, I understand. We get carried away. We get. No, we get carried. I get it, cuz. We get carried away, cuz. But you put. You put everybody in a bad spot.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, for sure, though. Definitely.
Host
He put everybody in a bad spot.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Definitely did. I didn't. I didn't like that. It was a lot of immediate, like. Like my mom and one of my best friends had sent it to me like around like 3, 3:30pm Central Time, bro. And at the time I looked at it and I said, I'm like, damn. Like, all right, cool. Like, but then I kept going back and looking at it. You know what I'm saying? Like, damn. Like, that is kind of bad. But I ain't think that was gonna blow up like it blew up, boy.
Host
He said Giannis was coming an hour, two hours late. What you mean? Bp.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
But I didn't think it was gonna go like, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, God damn, that crazy. Like, that went crazy, bro.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
And then, like, it kind of put. Then it kind of put everybody, like, we ain't being leaders, like, we ain't doing all this extra. But it ain't even like that for real. It just got kind of took out of context. Like, you can ask like, bro, literally, we have the same seven people at our airport that want us to sign things. Literally, we have the same. Same seven people. Like, some. Some teams might have 30 people or 40 people, but you know what I'm saying? We got these same dedicated seven people that come want us to sign some every time we take off.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Oh, yeah, it's gonna be.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Somebody needs to call one of them people right now and ask them who later they gonna say, nobody was late ever, bro. Hey, hey.
Host
They want Giannis to stay. Go ahead, Joe. What you want to say?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
It's gonna. It's gonna be a damn team meeting when we link back up.
Host
I don't know why would die, y'. All. You know, somebody done that out like that. But I don't want no more damage to be done. Just because I had one accident don't mean I'm gonna cancel my insurance. Well, once.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Once you snitch, you already snitch.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
They media team. I ain't necessarily just saying, like, the players, but that media team is probably gonna have some one on ones or a team or collectively a team unit. Sit down and be like, hey, look, we gotta watch what we say. Look, I think because of how media is evolving, and, you know, you got guys with their own podcast now who are currently still playing. Yeah, I think it kind of. It kind of sways, you know, information, meaning, like. You know, like, I felt like that was too much damn information to give up, bro. It's just certain things. Certain things you just take with you. However y' all deal with it. Y' all deal with it. But you never go on no podcast and say how your infrastructure is working.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, hey, Joe. Unc, bp. There's an unwritten rule in sports. There's an unwritten rule. Nobody has to tell you about that goddamn rule.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
There's certain things you don't discuss. There's certain things you don't talk about that happens inside locker rooms or structured environments. Nobody has to explain that to you, uncle. I got a bunch of goddamn stories. We've been on here three years. I have yet to talk about anybody on this goddamn show about anything that went on.
Host
Why are you saying. But we also know, Ocho. We know who will talk. And guess what? Hey, what y' all talking about
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Go.
Host
We ain't talking about nothing in front of your punk ass because we already know that's what we talking about. Hey, right every. Hey, look, we've all been in enough locker room. We played enough, be it high school, college, pro, NBA, NFL. We know. We know what guys will talk. Because guess what? It might not be a situation where they go public. It might be a situation what they go talk to it. Now, you know, when it comes to them, you don't cut them things. They're show dime out by that.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Oh, man. Come on, now.
Host
Oh, oh, oh. So you. Oh, you. Oh, you. Oh, you see, old boy? Huh? Who told you that? Yeah, so you ain't got to tell me nothing. So I already know. Yes, we're gonna have to have a conversation. I ain't gonna lie to you whether you having a conversation or not, but I'm saying if I was in the locker room in something like that. Of that magnitude.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
But it's hard. It's hard for us right now to have a conversation when, like, the future just so blurry. Yeah, like, the future is so blurry right now that, like, right now, like I said, like, before, like, guys need to worry about themselves being the best they can be, coming back and trying to change narrative about whatever, you know what I'm saying? The media has put on them or the team, whatever it is. Because right now, bro, like, like you said, bro, like you just said, like, the owner said that by June, the draft, whatever it is, they gonna do some with Yanis, whatever it is. So that's like. Yeah, so, like, the future blurry. So we can't really have them conversations until we know who on the team for real. You know what I'm saying? Like, like, right now, it's mono. E. Mono. For real. Like, you could talk to somebody like. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, see, right now, you need to be trying to get in the gym. Stay ready, stay sharp.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Like, after the season over with, like, you want to have those conversations and dialect, like, and dialogue. Like, I talked to all my guys. I was just with GT last week. You know what I'm saying? I hang out with all my teammates and talk to them, whatever it is. But, yeah, that one kind of just stung a little bit, so I'm gonna give it a few.
Host
But I was, I'm. I'm just. Oh, I was like, boy, I already knew when I saw this. I said it. I said to Ash, I said, ash, look, I said, boy, this year, about the. This here about to shock the conscience of the NBA.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
I said, it's not what he said, it's what if he said, oh, there are a lot of people late. People could have deduced whatever they wanted. Nobody would have ever assumed it was Giannis. The mere fact that. The mere fact that he's like, well, she. When she asked, who's some of your worst offenders? They didn't put the hot light on him, they didn't waterboard him, they didn't beat him with the telephone book. They didn't put. No, they didn't do none of that. Oh, yeah, this. Oh, y' all be late for about an hour. You gotta make him extract some information out of. You can't just give it all up.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
In the military, they say when you get captured behind enemy lines is name, rank, serial number. That's all you give them.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
What's your name? What's your rank? Give me your serial number, man. He done told him playing. Hey, look at. Check this out. They're gonna hit y' all tomorrow about 4 o'. Clock.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah. Yeah.
Host
Wow. Damn. Make them extract that information. Pull a couple of teeth. Shock me.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
These podcasts, some. Look, the thing is like, we're live. If you say something on here, even if you say, man, hey, take that. I can't. We can't take it out because somebody already. If you go right now, bp, somebody has already taken clips of what you, I, Joe and Ocho said and already got it up on their stuff.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yep.
Host
So we can't take it out now. There are times that you do stuff that's not live. We could like, hey, man, can you do me a favor when I say such and such, can you take that out? No problem. But when you go live, it ain't no editing, it ain't no takeout, ain't no do over.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, watch what you say type thing.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
And bp, I. I think the reason why it went viral is because the guys who aren't in you guys locker room, meaning fans, guys like ourselves who don't get to see y' all on the day to day basis. And the work that y' all put in, the fact that he spoke about Giannis is like, everybody look at Giannis is like the hardest worker, you know? What I mean, like, he don't take me for a guy who gonna show up late, who gonna half ass you, who gonna BS you, You know what I mean? Like, you got Doc. You got Doc Rivers in this position, and you mean to tell me Giannis ain't gonna show up and give him everything he got? So that's why I think it went viral, because it was Giannis and how we view him, you know what I'm saying?
Host
Yes.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
View him as no guy who would be late or half assing in the weight room or things of that sort. So that's why it was shocking to me. I ain't gonna lie. I'm like, damn, hold on. I don't expect that from Giannis, right?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Nah, man, Nah, man, nah. It wasn't nothing like that. Y' all is the hardest working. I've been around. For real? For real? No, no, for real, for real. That live before the game. He lived way before the game. Anybody said he'd be on the ground doing all type of crunches and sit ups, and before the game shall be like, bro, you tripping, boy. I sit right next to him, you know what I'm saying? I mean, yeah, he's been my locker mate for six years. I sit right next to him and stuff. So, like, he the hardest worker sometimes, you know what I'm saying? Doc Rivers, he just. He just a real linear coach. He a player's coach. I. With Doc Rivers, like, super. On a. On a personal level, like, I. I really love that, man. He. He a good dude, got a good heart. But you know what I'm saying, sometimes in film or whatever, it is clear that part of. Sometimes in film, if you heard it, whatever it is, doctor, you go over there and get treatment. Sometimes in practice, if you hurt and you ain't playing, go over there and get treatment, you know what I'm saying? Or whatever it is. Go get your work in. You know what I'm saying? Go to the weight room, go get some. Go get some. Some. Some work in. Whatever it is. So like I said, I was totally thrown off. I thought it was AI, man. You can go to my tweet. I thought that was AI. Ain't that real?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, listen, I'm. I'm the same way, fellas. It's like, you give me a good players coach and account the accountability that I'm holding myself to, you know, to show up for him, you know, make sure I'm ready to play. Ain't gonna be BSing. That's. That's. That's how I was when I played, bro. Like, those are some of the best coaches, but everybody can't play for coaches like that.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, I love that, man.
Host
Everybody is not mature enough to be responsible enough to handle it like that. Yeah, because. And my thing is, don't you mess it up for everybody else. Because you know how it is. One person messing up. Not we all got to come, we all got to do this, we all got to do that. Because what's the thing? We're a team now. He effed up. Make him run beside that. No, no, no, no. Don't, don't, don't to be all. And so that was my, that was my thing when I played bp. We gonna get you out here on this 1. The Lakers LeBron James on his podcast Mind the Game. I think that's the name of it. Mind the Game with Steve and now Superhuman Shaq.
Superhuman Shaq (Shaquille O'Neal)

Even as he said, we were not outworked. They did not out physical us. They did not outsmart us. I feel like we were out talented by okc. They just possess more talent. At the end of the day we failed in the talent. You can't. You can tip your cap to them. And understanding that LeBron also spoke about his future in LA. I'm still in the moment of just taking my time. I haven't really even thought about it much. Obviously I understand that I'm a free agent and I can control my own destiny about being here with this franchise for the foreseeable future or if going somewhere else. But I haven't really given, haven't gotten to the point. I haven't even taken my family vacation yet, which is going to happen after Memorial Day. That's kind of the thing that's in the front, front of my mind. But I think at some point in June, late June, as July rolls and free agency starts to get going and July maybe rolls into August, we're kind of starting to get a feel of what my future may look like. BP, where do you think LeBron is playing next week? Season? Or do you think he's playing at all.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah, look, check him out.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Leave land.
Host
This is for you. This is for you.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hold on. Bp, he gonna leave Bronnie. He gonna bring Bronnie with him.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Packing him with me.
Host
Okay, Bring it in with me. Okay.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
At the crib.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah.
Host
Hey, all.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
All books got good end. It's got storybook engines, man. I feel like this is. This would be perfect, man. You know what I'm saying? Go, go, go to Cleveland. They still got a nice team. Got Donovan Mitchell, who can still get off James Harden. You got Evan Mobley down low. So I don't know they salary cap or if they can whatever it is, but I'm pretty sure that they can sign and trade somebody or something. Right? Some type of sign and trade scenario can happen.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hold on. BP. The man just building a 60 million dollar house in. In Brentwood.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, I'll be back. I'll be back. We all got it. We all got a Creole somewhere else or something like, you know, we all, we all got houses, you know what I'm saying? Somewhere else or whatever it is. But, you know, I'll be. I'll be back over there.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
It ain't there being built yet. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see. Look, do I believe LeBron has at least thought about it? Absolutely, yeah, he has. He has. Because he hadn't been in this situation in a very long time. The last year of his contract, no option to pick up anything like that. The last time that happened, that was in Cleveland. He was on the move how long ago? That's being. He's been in the LA for eight years. Other than prior to that, he's always had the option. He opted out of the option and then they resigned. They signed another two or three or two, plus an option, a one plus one or two plus one. So do I believe he's at least thought about it? Absolutely. Absolutely.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
That's called a Bob bomb, man. Y' all gonna reclip this in about two, three months. Y' all gonna reclip this. Don't reclip this, man. Put me back on there, man. Give me some little love. Tag me. Just tag me at. Before this time. Just tag me, man. Just tell me, man.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
I don't know, fellas. I mean, D.P. that sound good. I ain't gonna lie to you. But it's just hard for me to see him leaving la where they got probably the second most cap space. Obviously
Host
a lot of that, Joe, huh? Ar gonna eat up a lot of that.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, Joe.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
What's the. What's the point of staying there, though, Joe? Think about that, man. What is he going to. He going in the year 20. He going in the year 24. Is he going in the year 24 just to play basketball, or is he going to year 24 trying to win a championship? Why the hell would he want to stand?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Well, they got. I think they got to make some changes to the roster. I don't think he sign back with the Lakers until they really make some changes, you know, but it's gonna be. It's gonna be some other teams who gonna be flirting with him trying.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey, so question, bro. So question. So like LeBron, like, he just a straight up free agent this summer?
Host
Yes.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
So question, like, in free agency with the Lakers, are they gonna wait on. Are they gonna wait on him to make a decision, though, like, with the money, with the space?
Host
No, I don't think so.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
So, like, that's. That's the first domino right there then.
Host
Yep.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Domino coming up soon. In about a month, about five, six weeks.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
BP you know, you heard Luca, he said, you know, he. He don't want to trade AR for no other superstar, so he won't ar to come back. I. I think. I think what you have is if you give AR Max contract, what's that, about 250?
Host
Yep.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
He gonna eat up. He gonna eat up so much of the cap here. Who can you bring Rui back? You ain't gonna be able to bring Rui back.
Host
Might not even break. Because if DA is a has a player option, Marcus Smart has a player option. Canard is an unrestricted free agent. Unrestricted free agent. They need. They need. They need a lot. They need 3 and D. Their problem is they cannot defend as great as. As many points as Luke and ar. Let's just say for the sake of argument, they give you 56, they're going to give up 46. You gotta. Hey, you gotta bring back court in basketball. Let's not sugarcoat it. I don't want you to comment on that. But I'm just saying, Joe Ocho and I, we know they're the best, worst defending backcourt in basketball. Now, they only really got one guy that can defend on the perimeter.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Smart.
Host
That's their problem. Market smart.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
You got to bring him back. Got to. You got to bring Smart back. Oh, I don't care.
Host
They got no choice. Yeah, they got nobody to get a fan.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
What price, though? For what price? For what price, though?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
I don't know. He probably gonna want him with a nice little Three year deal.
Host
Yeah. And if they don't give it to me, I. I've shown that I'm still a valuable commodity on the defensive end. I'll give you a couple of points. I get 1012. But my worth, I take charges. I defend at an elite level. I can rebound the basketball. Now, if y' all think, look, I proved myself. I've proven that I still play at a level. Now I want to be compensated for that.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, he. He changes the trajectory of a game when he comes in just by bringing that junkyard dog mentality. You know what I mean? Willing to defend, willing to do the dirty work that a lot of guys ain't willing to do. Bro, they. They'll pay for that.
Host
Yes. And you see how valuable defenders are. Look at okc. Look at the Spurs. Now, they're young. Marcus Martin is probably 32. What? I don't know. I don't know what he is. BP 32, 33. He probably. He might be your age. A couple years older than you.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
He's one year older than me. He went year older than me.
Host
Okay, so 30, 32, 33.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, they've got.
Host
They got some decisions to make because guess what? Even you bring Luca back, even though you bring AR back, you still not better than San Antonio, you're still not better than okc, and you're still not better than the Nuggets. So even with that back, guess where you are. You're still the fourth seed. That's if everything's right.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
They ain't better than the Rockets.
Host
They the fourth seed. They were the fourth seed. Rocket for the fifth seed.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
They beat the Rockets this year, though.
Host
But let me ask you a question.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
Are they.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
If.
Host
If Luke and AR comes back, the
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
series different, gets OKC. Luca be okay. See, in 20, 24, let's talk about it.
Host
But he did. But he didn't have these pieces. What he has now. Okc. Shay wasn't what he is now in okc. Are they better than the Spurs?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Nah.
Host
No, they can't defend. You got to realize, Luke, what did Luca have?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
The mavs. Finnie Smith won't there in that championship, though. He got traded. He was.
Host
Who was that? Defenders pull up that team.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
They had. They had Derrick Jones Jr. Yeah, Derrick Jones Jr. PJ Gafford, PJ Washington.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah,
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
yeah, yeah. That's junkyard dog rides.
Host
Yeah, they got that in. They got that in la.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
What's Ruiz, Roy, not junkyard.
Host
No, stop. Ruiz of school. Rui ain't defending. Oh, Ayton. Oh ain't defending you talking about the guy you like, ain't I? I. You could have it.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey. Hey.
Host
You could have it.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, I knew it was bad when the Lakers threw Cleveland out there trying to get something out of here.
Host
Thank you. Thank you.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, last, that last play, that threw me so far off. I threw me so far off. I know, I know. Rui was hot on the sideline. Like, why am I. I didn't hit about five trades tonight. I should be one out here.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Rui gonna get paid.
Host
Matter of fact, he should have been one taking the shot.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah. Really gonna get paid.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Hey, also, who you got? Where you got Brian going, man? What's your team?
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Honestly, I mean, when I think about it and understanding what he want, I mean, you don't want to waste another year like you did here with the Lakers. I think you want an opportunity to compete and play for a championship, obviously being the third option yet again. So he'll go to a team that is, that had already had the two headed monster.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
I just feel like, man, it's tough, man.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
You can't even say it to you.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
I, I, I honestly, I can't even think of nothing. I'm, I'm just being honest. There's no reason to play. Going in the year 24 and going somewhere and be right back.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Go home.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Which you just left.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Go home, bro.
Host
Let me ask you a question. In your basketball life, have you ever seen a guy retire? Averaging 20 with no injuries, averaging 27, 7 20.7 rebounds, 7 assists. Tell me the year, no matter how, whether it was 10, year 12, year 15, 24. Tell me the guy that is retired, averaging 27 and 7, shooting 52 from the floor.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Nah, he ain't retired.
Host
I want BP. BP say just go home.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
He said go home. Back to Cleveland. He meant back to Cleveland.
Host
He ain't going to Cleveland.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
That's what he meant by go home.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
No, no, I'm saying go home.
Host
So Braun, Mitchell, Harden.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I don't know. I gotta, I gotta have, I gotta have Braun, Mitchell and Mobley on my team. I don't know, like everybody else, I can, I don't know. You know what I'm saying? I gotta have Moby. I gotta find a way to keep Mobley. I can make him a five, maybe make Brian a four. You feel me?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Give me a three and D in there at a three. Keep Mitchell. Ain't no telling what I can do with my one. For real. Depending on, depending on how much Harden won't. You know what I'm saying? I Can get him, you know, so I can keep him. You know what I'm saying?
Host
You want a three year deal? Probably around 90.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I mean, it depends.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, he going to want him.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
They got his bird, right? They got his bird, right? So they can do what they want to do with him. You feel me?
Host
On that, on that championship team, it was Luca, Kyrie, PJ Washington, Derrick Jones, Jr Daniel Gafford, Derek Lively, II, Josh Green, Hardaway Jr, Jane Hardy, Maxi Cleaver, Marquis Morris, Dante Exum, AJ Lawrence and Dwight Powell.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah,
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
say the bench again.
Host
Luca, Kyrie, PJ Washington, Derrick Jones, junior, Derek Gafford. And then you had Derek Liver ii, Josh Green, Tim Hardaway, junior, Jaden Hardy, Maxi Kleber, Dante Exum, Marquis Morris, AJ Lawson, Dwight Powell and what was that?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
What was the finals? What was the. It was four wood. Four one.
Host
Nah, I think they got swept by Boston, didn't he?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, they got swept. They ain't win no damn game.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
All right, all right. I don't know where you going with
Host
that, Ross, you say hey, you said. I'm just saying though, the Thunder.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah, he got past the Thunder, 4:1.
Host
4:1. They got beat 4:1, Joe.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Oh, 4:1.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, but I'm saying though, like you said, that. You know what I'm saying? For Braun to win the championship, whatever it is.
Host
No, no, no, no. We were talking about Luca. You said Luca got past that. I said, even if. If they bring Luca and AR back, are they better than OKC as concurrently?
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I don't think nobody. Nobody OKC in San Antonio. No.
Host
Are they better? Are they better than dip? Are they better with Denver with Aaron Gordon being on the roster? Because Aaron Gordon got hurt. So are they better? Denver? So I said every time, at best. Because who they got to deal with? Who they got to deal with? Jokic and they can't defend Murray because you know what? Give the Lakers problems. If you go back and look at the Lakers over the last five years, every guard that's quick, give them a problem from Jamar Murray to Darren Fox.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Oh, no, you think. You think the Timberwolves better? Is the Timberwolves better than the Lakers without Burn?
Host
They put them out. They put them out with Luke and LeBron and AR.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
You remember, is the Timberwolves better than the Lakers without Braun?
Host
Yes. The table was beat away.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
LeBron, they the four best team then. So the Lakers like five, six, so.
Host
But see, that's what I said. I said therefore, at best, at the absolute best. Therefore, I think.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
I think what's taken for granted here is that the Lakers didn't have Luca in this postseason. The leading.
Host
Yes.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
In the NBA. You look at. You look at the Thunder, they didn't have Jalen Williams in that series against the Lakers. I just feel like you missing such a huge piece from the Lakers.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Yeah, bro.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
That I. I know y' all think I'm crazy when I'm saying it, but I think it would have probably been a totally different series had you had Luca. Now. Can't.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Oh, me too. Me too. Me, too.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
But if he averaging, damn, 30, 35 points a night. Come on, man. I think that's a huge difference.
Host
But who he gonna stop, though, Joe? Who can they stop? Because every time, if you go back and look at them in the clutch situation, they put two guys in the pick and roll. They put Austin Reeves and they put Luka Doncic, as great as he is offensively. Go back and look at every clutch situation that the Lakers getting in. Who do they. Who do they go to? You. You're right for him, whoever he's guarding. They say, come set the pick. I want Luca.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
You're right.
Host
AR Is garden. They say, come set the pick. I want him.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
You right.
Host
That's just facts.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
What I'm saying is you right about that. But what I'm saying, his offense is his damn defense. You know what I mean? That's how he offsets. It's like, look, I'm gonna come out and get y' all 35. Now, my man may have, you know, 30, but, hell, I'm gonna do my job. That's all I'm saying. I just feel the way he plays the game offensively and passes and make guys around him better and score the basketball. I. You can't eliminate that man.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Get to the bonus. Yeah, he put the team in the bonus early. Like.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Throwing his head back. Get a foul, you're in the bonus with 5, 6 minutes left in the first, second quarter, third quarter, you know what I'm saying? That's.
Host
That's extra that you have, is when he goes to the bench. See, when Shay goes to the bench, you saw.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
But it wouldn't, though, because when Luca goes to the bench, Braun, then. The problem was right now, they come
Host
with Caruso, they come with Kason Wallace, they come with Isaiah. Joe, they come with all those other guys you think about. Shay was in foul trouble. Shay go to the bench. They're down six. He comes back in the ball game, they're up nine. What other team can give you that?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Well, well, look at this. They they.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
They made the Knicks. The Knicks can.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
They made. They made a trade and brought Marcus Smart over.
Host
You gotta.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Look, understand something. When the Lakers play the Thunder. Now we. We know AJ Mitchell had a hell of a series, but outside of that last game, Shade never got loose from them. I thought. I thought Marcus Smart done a hell of a job in being physical and making it tough on them. Now if I got my 33 point score next to me with Marcus Smart, man, it could be a different series. That's all I'm saying.
Host
Yeah, but now you gonna have. But see. Okay, let's just. So who do we start? Because I can't start. So you want to start Marcus Mark, Oscar reeves, Luka Doncic, LeBron James and. And Deandre Ayton. Right. So now you got three terrible defenders on the court.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Well, my thing is AR and D A. I ain't gonna lie to you. I ain't talking about starting Smart because I feel like he's a igniter. Meaning the times he's came off the bench and the Lakers have been in these lows. He's managed defensively just by being disruptive, you know, giving them extra possessions, whether it's defensively, picking his man up, picking his pocket. Just get momentum boost. You know what I mean? I ain't saying you got to start him, but you need guys like that, especially if you got Luca AR at the 1 and 2.
Host
But just imagine if you don't start him. Who guards. Who guards? Shay. Now you don't let Shay get his rhythm. Once he gets his rhythm, I don't give you them. You get Marcus Smart. Maxwell Smart. Chief Smart. He going for 40.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Who you say again? Say it again. Who that.
Host
Who you say he could get? Marcus Smart, Maxwell Smart, Keith Smart, he going for 40.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, hey. And that's what you dealing with when you. When you. The Lakers. Hell, Luca averaging 20. 20 points in the first quarter.
Host
He is.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Hey, you know, hey, man, I'm just saying momentum is.
Host
Is.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Is a real thing. And without Luca, I don't feel like the Lakers get a real fair assessment on where they could have really went.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I thought you was a Laker fan, huh?
Host
Oh, I'm. I'm a. I'm a laker, I'm a LeBron fan. But I'm a realist.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
That's.
Host
That's what I am. I'm a realist. And at the end of the day, and you know, playoff basketball comes down to the defense.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
You got to get stops. And when the Lakers. Lakers had to leave with. They couldn't get a stop. They couldn't get a stop. It's hard. It's that. That is. You put so much pressure on your team when you're defensively challenged. Because guess what? Both guys get broken down off the rip.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Rip?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah.
Host
Once you get broken down off the rip, you know this, BP you had the teams, you had the team's mercy. They get whatever they want. They don't broke Luca down. They don't broke AR down off the rip. They get to the float game, they get wide open, threes or they get lobs at the rim. The same thing. Remember what they did to James Harden in game one when they went 11 straight? Yeah, brother. We did what level? Straight. And then when he came, I got the lob right here. Boom. And then guess what? When they came to help, I kicked. Boom. At some point in time, like you say, you know what? God dang it. You ain't finna beat me, right?
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Facts.
Host
I refuse to. And then D. A. I don't know what DA was did. I mean, we recommended that he go try apply for a cdl, but we don't know how that's gonna turn out for it. But, hey, that was a recommendation. I just. I just. I just wish. I just wish he had some consistency. I wish he just, like, cared a little bit about this much, give you
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
a little more effort.
Host
Oh, my goodness. How you gonna be okay with two points? You play 30 minutes, you okay with two points, four points and three rebounds at seven foot? I don't know. We gonna see. We gonna see. Hey, BP man, thank you, man. Thanks for coming on, bro. We appreciate that.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I appreciate y' all for having me on here, man.
Host
We're gonna call you back. We're gonna see what it's talking to, see what you talk about in the finals.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Come on, man. Call me back, Remy, man. I'm always around. I'll be doing stuff with fan dude, running back always, every week, so.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah. Hey, good to see you, bro.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Likewise, bro. Likewise.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yes, sir.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
BP make sure you in that lab.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I'm in that lab every day, bro. That's why I'm here. Hey, I started with 60 players in my job, bro. It's only nine players left on my draft on one of them years later, but I'm still going.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, okay.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Okay.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Guys like Joe, where I'm from, and coolest new, inspired young like.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, yeah.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
Gotta keep.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
That's real.
BP (Basketball Player/Analyst)
I gotta.
Ocho (Co-host/Analyst)
Yeah, that's real. That's real touching. I ain't trying to hear that.
Joe (Co-host/Analyst)
I'm gonna give his ass. Some humble pie, don't worry.
Host
And now Superhuman Shaq.
Superhuman Shaq (Shaquille O'Neal)
I keep telling them not to say that. I'm no superhuman. Believe it or not, I struggle with moderate obstructive sleep apnea or OSA in adults with obesity. Moderate to severe OSA is a condition where breathing is interrupted during sleep with loud snoring, choking, gasping for air, and even daytime fatigue. Let's just say it could sound a lot like this.
