tremfiaradio.com Tony Romo only regrets not winning a Super Bowl. A cow. Well, not winning a Cowboys a Super Bowl. He said that's his only regret. He said the only regret I guess I would have is that my job was to win, was to bring a Super bowl to Dallas and I didn't do it. So that's always sticks with me a little bit because you give your whole body, heart, soul, everything into it and you just want it wanted and you just wanted that for all the fans, the Joneses, for everybody. For everybody that you're around. And so that only always sticks with you. Sticks with me a little bit just because I had the opportunity and wasn't able to do it. So that kind of. So that part of it kind of still sits there anyway. Joe, you think if he won a Super bowl, he'd be in hall of Fame? You think he'd be a Hall of Famer now?
Joe
I mean, the. I maybe. Probably not. I don't. Probably not. Do you think he would be if he won it?
Commercial Voice/Ad Announcer
Hell no.
Debo
Why? No, he wouldn't, bro. No, he wouldn't.
Joe
How.
Debo
Listen, why not? Joe, if you want a couple of them. Yeah. Two of them. Maybe three. Three for sure. Two maybe like, dude, dude, he, he was. He was good, but he wasn't great. That man didn't make one All Pro. Not one. He made Pro Bowl. Hell, that's voted on by the fans. And like, anybody could slip into a Pro Bowl. Like the All Pro is hard to get. Yeah.
Joe
You know that the whole process ain't getting nothing there.
Debo
Another one of them. Like when we played, you know, we played the Cowboy one. Like, okay, like we, we ain't like Tony Roma, go just go ahead and dice us. Like he, he was. He wasn't that guy that you was like, oh, man, we got. We got to worry about this dude, man. He might. He go slang that thing to whoever he can get it to. It don't matter. Like. Like Tom Brady, man. He go slang that thing to one of these. All they got to do is catch it sometimes. Like, he go get it to him and then like, just getting the ball off. Like, you.
Joe
You.
Debo
You went to a game with Tony Romo and you was.
Joe
I don't even know if I ever. I did. I have a place, I think. Yeah. It's just the stats, Debo. So say. I mean, if he.
Debo
I understand the stats.
Narrator/Commercial Announcer
He got.
Debo
He got. He got the Cowboys team record 248 touchdown passes. He ranked second in the franchise history with 34, 183 passing yards. You know, he won 78 regular season game. Put him in the ring of honor with the Cowboys.
Joe
Ring of honor. That's good enough for sure. I.
Debo
He gotta be in there or he should be in there. He got the Cowboys records. Is he in there? Jerry ain't even putting. Why? Because he ain't get him a suit. Jerry would have put him in there if he gave. Jerry would have show put him in there if he gave him the Super Bowl.
Joe
Jerry, about them rings.
Debo
No question.
Joe
I know that.
Debo
I just don't.
Joe
Yeah. Yeah.
Debo
I don't think you.
Joe
I feel you, Deebo. I feel you. When we talk about the hall, we talk about the hall, then that's when it's just. It's not the hall of Good, it's the hall of Great. So, like, that's when it's just like, if you can't just start putting everybody in the hall, and that's what makes it the exclusive class. So, like, obviously, like, I wasn't saying what ballot or anything, but then you start part. Everybody's getting skipped over that probably some. Some dudes that deserve to still get in there. So trying to throw in the Tony Romo when like amazing records. I think cowboy like you said Ring of honor, obviously. But then we say Hall. It's like, I. I feel you. It's tight.
Debo
This. I'm looking at something. It say. It say he ain't in the ring of honor.
Joe
But.
Debo
But Jerry. Jerry say he should, don't he?
Joe
Don't.
Debo
Huh? He deserves to be in the ring.
Tab Ramos
So who.
Commercial Voice/Ad Announcer
Who.
Debo
Who do the Cowboys Ring of honor? The owner can't tell y' all who he want in his ring.
Joe
Jerry can do what Jerry talking to himself.
Debo
He get a listen.
Joe
He should be in there. So he probably. He's the board.
Debo
The board that run the.
Joe
He's talking to himself. He should be in there.
Debo
Well, you know what?
Joe
I might put him in there sometime.
Debo
He talks to himself. Gotta be Debo.
Joe
He makes all the decisions for the Cowboys.
Debo
Listen, bro. The last person to get put in. Listen, listen, bro. The last person to get put into the Cowboys ring of honor was Jimmy Johnson in 2023. You put Jimmy Johnson in, it took you to a couple.
Joe
They was beefing up, him and Tony Robo. They got a good relationship. That was. They. They was riding with each other.
Debo
It ain't good enough because why he ain't in there. He said he should be.
Joe
So he's probably gonna put. Look, it took him for his coach that he put in there. They had a little relationship with. It took 20 years, 25 years to put him in there. So now maybe he just going to take Tony Romo a little bit. Like probably, you know, he gonna get in maybe three, maybe two years. He could put him in next year. He could put him in anytime he should.
Commercial Voice/Ad Announcer
Okay.
Debo
Okay. So hold up.
Joe
What's up?
Debo
Dak finished his career is Tony Romo and Dak are up.
Joe
Who go in time that got. I mean Tony Romo gotta go in first. Unless that goes and win and if that goes to win the bowl, then. Then he goes win the ship then. Then Tony Rumble.
Debo
Tony Rumble ain't never getting.
Joe
He might not get it for a long time, but that's what I'm saying. It just depends because both of them they putting up numbers. They doing what they got to do.
Debo
Yes. Back holds nearly all of them except for these rings. Except the rings Back hold nearly all of them except for these two records. As far as passing that like. No, no, for sure.
Joe
That's what I'm saying. That that is doing everything you got to do. And he's still. And Dax still got years to play. He ain't got.
Commercial Voice/Ad Announcer
He ain't got no.
Joe
No, he still got time to play. He still got time to play. And it's not that fault. I don't think it's Dax fault that they've been like. It's not that slinging it there his yards.
Debo
He's saying that. I ain't even lying. I didn't even realize.
Commercial Voice/Ad Announcer
And now
Debo
you know, at prevent time too. A lot of. He's only throwing a lot of yards. Time. All that. Yeah. You know, it ain't all, you know, just right there game.
Joe
You know that guy that still got you that still got time to play.
Debo
That guy trying to Play.
Joe
So he didn't put up his numbers. He done did.
Debo
We had to do what he had to do. Man, listen, you won't. You got paid and then you got paid to announce.
Joe
Paid to talk about the game.
Debo
Love it.
Joe
Love it.
Debo
Super paid. Love it. Hey, love it. Can't stop thinking of it. Yes, sir. Bucks. Baker Mayfield reveals he played through a sprained knee injury. Injury suffered in the second week in the 2025 season. So I guess during the season of Netflix quarterback docu series, Mayfair revealed that he had been playing through a sprain, MCL and PCL in his knee since week two. He was also dealing with a bruised bicep contusion and later suffered a shoulder injury in Week 12 loss against the Rams. Mayfield had the best year of his career in 24, completing 71.4% of his passes, 4,500 yards and 41 touchdowns. Last year, his numbers dropped across the board. 36, 93 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and 63% pass completion rate.
Joe
Yes.
Debo
You think this was a perfect timing on his release of this information,
Joe
man, look, it's the like, it's the, what have you done for me lately? So he's just letting them know that he still. He was fighting through some injuries. People gonna put out bad stuff. So at least he's on his fight. You're gonna try to defend himself and defend his honor and saying, at the end of the day, I was out there and I could have just tried to sit, but you know, I'm fighting through mcl. I'm hurt, but I'm still fighting. So I'm not mad at Baker. And I think at the same time, obviously, you know how it's been. Baker Mayfield has every right. People had been acting like they were trying to throw from Cleveland. I would have hoped they could have resigned him. He only wanted probably 25. And then we went and didn't think that was good enough. Went and got desean. Then he had to go. We went to the Panthers, then he went to the Rams, ended up playing well. Then he went to the 90s with the Bucs. Now he gets to 35 million. Everybody else is signing for these high contracts. He went and proved that he can make, he can play. So now Baker is still trying to show everybody, look, I did the 4,500 yards, 41 touchdowns last year. I'm still fighting for my life. I was hurt out there. 3,600 with 26 touchdowns. Like what? My market is still there. He's just trying to show everybody that he's He. He's putting his best foot forward because if he didn't do well, it's so easy to shun him.
Debo
He's 77 on the list, baby.
Joe
Say what?
Debo
He's 77 on the list, too. He made the top 100. Now, the man went out there and still gave you 30. What is it? 36? 93 with a bad shoulder, two bag ligaments in his knees, a, a, a contusion on his bicep, throwing down, slowing down the velocity of his throws and all that stuff changing his mechanism, mechanics of his throw. Everything still went out there. He's letting y' all know, listen, man, I ain't gonna just stop on y' all just because I. You know what I'm saying? Because it's a little. No, I'm gonna keep going.
Joe
They got.
Debo
They got to drag me off this field, and y' all telling me y' all can't.
Tab Ramos
Y'.
Debo
All. We can't even get close because in
Joe
these contracts, when I'm. Then they. And they looking at Baker, like, end of the day, too, they're. They're always trying to find reasons not to pay you. So sometimes this could be a little bit like Baker.
Debo
You.
Joe
They. They looking at. This could hurt you. Like, oh, man. So you might be injury prone. Like, are you sure this isn't the down. This isn't a sign that you're going to start declining now? Are you going to keep getting hurt? You are kind of a little bit smaller in stature, but that's just how the NFL goes. So with Baker, like, no, I've done what I had to do. I've proven myself. All these other people getting these deals, like, I'm up, and they're just. What is Baker looking at? Baker's looking at these quarterbacks making 50. He's looking at.
Debo
I want to know what he.
Joe
That's what I. That's what I want to know. I would think that he would probably want around whatever Daniel Jones is. If I get on Daniel Jones money, like, I don't know why that he. Baker would feel like Daniel Jones should be able to get paid more than him. If I'm just putting it, like, in that.
Debo
What does Daniel Jones get?
Joe
Let me pull it up exactly, but I'm thinking around. Let me see.
Debo
The highest paid quarterback is at, what, 65? 60.
Joe
Is it 60 what? 60 or CS?
Debo
No way. It gotta be 60.
Joe
Let me see.
Debo
It can't be 6. It's. No, it's not 60. It gotta be 60. This is 65. Oh, my God. Oh, my I need man.
Joe
I got quarterback average earning per year for The Patrick Mahomes is 64 per year in the in the extension Dak Prescott is 60 per year Joe Burrow 55 oh Lord Jesus.
Debo
Hey,
Joe
so that's where he just trying to get to like the numbers that everybody.
Debo
So what did he make last year?
Joe
Oh, Baker Mayfield.
Debo
Yes.
Joe
Well he's he signed. He signed a hundred three year $100 million.

3 million a year.
Debo
Okay, so he had 30.
Joe
Okay. And Danny Dimes is that he went and gave you all two for 88, $44 million a year.
Debo
Oh yeah.
Joe
You know what I'm saying.
Debo
So that's angle I see. He won't. He won't hit dog. He won at least five.
Joe
Jared Golf at 53.
Debo
Oh, Jared Goff might have strong you down. That's why they probably. That's probably why they trying to get you back at that 33. He trying to get 45 they talking about. Hey Jared Golf got 53.
Joe
I'm saying Debo where he's looking at those numbers and trying to figure out where he fits in. In the, in the. In the. In the Tampa Bay looking at it like ah, I think they might listen.
Debo
He done gave him a deadline now. He said if it ain't done by training camp start, it's over with. We ain't negotiating no more. July 28th. It ain't done. We over with.
Joe
That's. And is he still under contract right now?
Debo
Yeah, he's just saying you ain't doing no extensions. Y' all give me before I walk into this training camp.
Joe
Ain't no extension. So you're gonna go one more year for the 33. And then he's just. He betting on himself gone. Okay. That's crazy.
Debo
And they. GM said they ain't in no rest assigning. That's crazy. They must. And they must know something.
Joe
We don't think that's what they.
Debo
They must know somebody out there. Unless he trying to get 55. 50.
Joe
50.
Debo
Unless he up at. Bro, he got to be up at 50 million or better, probably. I ain't gonna lie. Yeah. I'm telling you. Hey, man, listen. I just did you.
Joe
I did you three for 33.
Debo
333.
Joe
Boom.
Debo
And you gave me this.
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
I don't know, man.
Joe
I feel.
Debo
I ain't gonna lie to you, man. I think. I think they're saying. What is it looking at something similar to Jared Goff. 55 is. 55 is 60. And Trevor Lawrence.
Joe
No, that's what I'm saying. That's what I'm trying to say. That's where I notice.
Debo
They ain't gonna do that.
Joe
They not. They trying.
Debo
That boy gonna be unrestricted free agent in 27 if he looking for that. That's what he looking for. And they that far apart. They probably in that. They probably in that 35, 40 range, and he talking about 55, 60. Yeah. I ain't gonna lie to you, cuz.
Joe
Look, the reason why they not, too, cuz. Sam Darnold. Sam.
Debo
Fully guarantee me. Fully guarantee me up 40. I take. I take. I take. I take three for 120.
Joe
And Baker Mayfield are making the same. And then there's the Daniel Jones at 44.
Debo
Did Sam Donald just win the Super Bowl?
Joe
Yes. Yes. I'm. That's what I'm saying. Sam Darnold. It's Baker Mayfield because both of them went to the.
Debo
Hey, Baker, man, if that thing anywhere close to 40, man, I think around and get out here and mess up something.
Joe
I think that's where you're looking at, though, because the Daniel Jones with 2 for 88, he's at 44. 44 a year.
Debo
Hey, man, sometimes it ain't good.
Joe
I know what you're saying, Debo, but when you are. I. I feel you, but how old is 30?
Debo
Baker. But I think Baker.
Joe
31.
Debo
Okay. 31. Okay. So you think you're gonna leave here and somebody else go give you 50, 60 to come near who
Joe
he's betting. Look, he's gonna have a year this year for 30. I mean, look, I'm. I'm. I'm in the math. I'm in a thing where kind of
Debo
where you are But I'm looking at it from. I got. I got my GM hat on. Even though it's white. I got my GM at all. That's what I'm looking at as gm.
Joe
Would you sign him for this?
Debo
Comparatively to what I could get out there versus what he wants? I'm. If it's 55.
Joe
No, no, no, no, no.
Debo
And that's why the GM is like, we're not in.
Joe
We're in no rush. No, for sure. If It's. If it's 40,
Debo
I'm gonna work with you. 40. We go get it. We're gonna get it because I just gave you 33. I'm the gym. I just gave you 33. I'm gonna bump you up. I know what you did. You was hurt.
Narrator/Commercial Announcer
You.
Debo
You struggled through for me. You did all that. But I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't do you 560. I'm gonna go ahead, and I'm gonna just. You saying you go play it out? Yeah, let's play it out and. And we'll figure it out from there.
Joe
Yeah, I'm with you a thousand percent, because the 65 number is not. There's no new set in the market. It's no Trevor Lawrence, Justin Burrow, the Jared Golf. Brock Purdy got 53, Justin Herbert 52. Lamar Jackson 52. Jalen Hurts 51. Deshaun Watson 46, Daniel Jones 44. And then it's a jump from 44 to Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield at 33.
Debo
Right.
Joe
He.
Debo
He must not be trying to jump to the 40. He trying to jump to the 55. That's where, you know, 50, 55, 60. He. No, I can't do that, bro. I can't do that. And then, you know, it's gonna be at least two of it, guaranteed. Two years of.
Tab Ramos
Again.
Debo
No, I can't do that. I can't do that. I'm gonna go ahead. I'll take my. I'm take my chances like you taking your chances, because I just feel like I'm gonna be able to get something else out there for. For a better value.
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
You know, Daniel Jones got 4400.
Joe
Yes, sir. Two for 88.
Debo
Hey, he ain't slumping. He trying to get a little more than that. Yeah, for sure. He trying to get a little more than that. Yeah, yeah. Bake trying to get more today. For sure.
Joe
See it?
Debo
Yeah, I. I ain't tripping. I ain't tripping. Hey, man, do what you got to do, man. Go ahead and get that money, man. But I'm just telling you, when my G ham at on my. My GM hat when it's on. I ain't giving you that money, though. I put my player hat on.
Joe
Hey, man, that's the agent. That's the difference between the agents. And then when the players start like you looking around, you only can get compared to your people that, you know, I'm saying the other quarterbacks in the league and what's going on. So the market is the market. What they paying is what they paying. So I feel Baker and his agent trying to get maximize on how they didn't believe they tried to let my man slide. Didn't think he did nothing.
Tab Ramos
And then.
Debo
Listen, but listen, man, you gotta. You gotta listen. The receiver they had, he gone. He just left and went to where?
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
Yes, he gone. You want me to give you all this money and then you throwing the hoop? I need to help build somebody around you. You got to give me something back, man, to be able to work with. You want 50? I need. I do. I do you for 40. I need. You want 55.60. I need that 15. 20 to be able to get something around you to catch the ball.
Joe
No, for sure
Debo
not like. What are you talking about? Ain't that what that boy Brunson did over there in New York when they went got a ship, man. Man, New York didn't even need that man. Brunson should have been. He shouldn't even been in New York. Should have been somewhere else doing that for another. Another. Another team. Because New York, they act they're tearing up and everything. Damn.
Joe
What we got D talking about our boy did
Debo
Stefan Diggs. Speaking of receipt joke. Stefan Diggs still trying to find a team as he. Oh, Tyreek Hill and others Find out how fast the info can move. Stefan Diggs believes he's better than every number two receiver in the NFL. He said my opinion, I can compete with anybody. You can't name a number two better than me, Joe. You surprised my man ain't picked up yet?
Joe
Not really. Not really. I wouldn't.
Debo
Why? Why?
Joe
Because.
Debo
Because what?
Joe
Just because. And I hate to say it because I don't believe it, but off. I think it's off the field. I think it's just some of the stuff that comes with my man Diggs.
Debo
What's that? It just comes with him.
Joe
I. I don't think. I don't think it's.
Debo
I don't. I don't Know what you're talking about. Tell me. Give me an example.
Joe
I don't think it's anything. I think they need to sign Diggs immediately because what he's saying with what he's on the field and his numbers. Smooth.
Debo
Y' all see what I'm dealing with?
Tab Ramos
Chat. What?
Debo
Y' all see what I'm dealing with?
Tab Ramos
This.
Debo
This. This dude right here. What I do, man, what you do is you went 180 degrees. That's what you did, Joe.
Joe
Cause you.
Tab Ramos
You.
Joe
You. You. You tried to.
Debo
You.
Joe
You're messing.
Debo
That was. That was. That was 108. I ain't messy. I'm not messy. Okay? I can't be messy. I'm not putting anything or saying anything. That would not be something that could be right.
Joe
Okay? So you. You go first.
Debo
I gotta go first. Here go Joe with this.
Joe
Come on.
Debo
The man got a lot going on, okay? He got lawsuits or had lawsuits, what, last year? Well, I think the chef tried to get him, you know. He was found now guilty on the assault and strangulation charges. You know what I'm saying? That was a whole. That was a whole flim flammer, wind battle, you know what I'm saying? Trying to get. You know what I'm saying? You know, they had a whole situation going on there, you know what I'm saying? Like that. That. I. I ain't. That one right there, you know, that was just unfortunate. Unfortunate. Man was found now guilty. That shouldn't. That shouldn't be held against him, but he just settled. He just settled a lawsuit that was out there for. For 10 million according to TMZ. It was a deal made that they, I guess, worked out to have the guy drop the lawsuit against him and his brother.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
I guess his brother, I guess allegedly was. Was going. Was. Was gonna put them. Put them according to the reports that TMZ had gotten and what. Dude, did you read that TMZ thing?
Joe
No, I didn't. Debo.
Debo
Right. Don't, don't, don't. So it's. It's. My point is this dude, it's a lot coming with him. And if you look at any of these things that are reported, allegedly not guilty and unfound, that's a lot to bring to your team. And I think that's what you were saying until you decided to just baldy up into a potato ball, tuck your head in between your legs, and kiss your ass.
Joe
Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Just because this one. These. He's. This is my personal friend. My good. This is My. This is my personal friend and I didn't get to able to talk to him before. Personal friend because we're from marriage.
Debo
How personal?
Joe
I know him, Debo. We hung out a couple of times. We hung out before. We from both America. Yes.
Commercial Voice/Ad Announcer
Okay.
Debo
What y' all do?
Joe
Kick it. We was out. We went to Vegas before for the Pro Bowl. We just kicked it. Nothing crazy, just a good time. He's a really good dude from the crib. Know him and his brother, they've been nothing but nice. So we always like hung out. And every time I kick it with Diggs, it's been nothing but just love, good vibes, nothing crazy. So when I, when I speak on it, it sucks because I didn't get to talk to him before. But now when I'm on it. This is kind of why when you are like. And it says when Stephon Diggs and Tyreek Hill, they're ballers in the league, but they come with some stuff that's been happening off of the field where they're going to deal with you as. As long as they can. And then like, they want to find reasons not to pay you. And now when Stephon Diggs, I respect them, but when you come in now and then it's like, how much are you going to come play for? They. They. There's always a younger receiver that's going to come in for the low. We have, like we talk about now, they drafted my man from Alabama. And we have Roman Wilson in the slot on rookie contracts. We got Michael Pittman Jr. Grown man at the number two. We got DK Metcalf, grown man that just comes in here. And we don't hear nothing about that, nothing about them off the field. They're not a locker room problem. We had George Pickens where it's. He's a baller and they still kind of got rid of him. Not because there's nothing in. He's done nothing with the law. It's just more like, is he going to be fitted for the locker room? Like, they kind of think if we ended up paying, how would it work? Happy for George Pickens that he's in. He's in Dallas doing what he's got to do. But it just shows you that even how much talent you can have, they can quickly just go the other way. If they don't. If you're not on the roster, they don't have to like bringing you in. That's just bringing somebody else in. And this, when we say baggage, it's just anything else that pertains besides football, Anything besides football. Because that means there's reasons that there's distractions and there's reasons where they could be like, nah, we just don't need that right now. It takes off everything from what you do in between those lines. And that's why when we talk about, like I talk about Minka, I talk about Cam Hayward, I talk about TJ Watt, you don't never hear about him. It's always going to be about them directly on the football field. And it'll be something about maybe they play or cause they're hurt or something. But it's never nothing. You only have to want he's going to ball because that's what does. And the only time you hear if he's hurt, that's when people start acting like, oh, and I'm like, this guys, you don't understand that's going to happen. But you're not worried about this man doing anything. But if he's healthy, he's going to be the best player on the best version of himself. He's going to be on time, he's going to be a motivator. He's going to be in the locker room getting guys together. And that's something that you can't pay for. You don't you. That's just. That's just because that's what he does. He's giving you reasons. T.J. watt is giving you reasons to pay him. Like, you trying. The only reason why you can say not to pay him is because he's getting hurt a little, like because of the injury. But I'm like, guys, that's just because it happened. When he's out here, everything else is going to be perfect. Like, that's not. That man's bad. So when we say like bringing in like Tyreek Hill or George Pickens not getting the contract, it's just anything else for a reason for them not to pay you. These. This bread. They can bring in another rookie that's going to come run through a wall and hopefully they think he's a ball and be a locker room guy. That's just chilling. Like, I don't have to hear what he say. High production, low maintenance. High production. You want dudes that are low maintenance.

With dude wipes there are no more dingleberries, no more itch and irritation, just a deep down the seam. Confident clean. Plus, unlike baby wipes, dude wipes are extra big for adult hands. Joe
It doesn't matter. He's going to come do his job and he's going to leave. And you don't have to worry about what he does when he's leaving because you don't hear about it. You don't know nothing. He's chilling. Like, the dude is like, he's just worried about his football. And that's the main thing. A lot of dudes, when you, it's not bad to have other aspirations and want to do things and want to have a good time. But when you're a football team and you're now I'm about to pay this dude $20 million a year, I need to know that he's just going to strictly be locked in. Like you can have other things, but what are you doing when you leave here? So that's what I'm saying with like the on the field production is not a question. You're nice. Thousand yards still at 3200 some catches. That is not what is in question. 0%. What is in question is now like, is something going to happen the locker room? And I don't, it may not be a problem. But when teams have to bring up that question of what's going on that he has dealing with some lawsuits and stuff. So they're like, oh well, it's kind of easier. And then he's saying, show me your second receiver. He's making 20 million a year. You're not, you're not trying to come in. You're not coming in on the low. You're not coming in for like a contract. You're coming in expecting that bag because your production speaks on it. But when they're finding a reason not to pay you, they're like ho ho ho. Like no, you gotta. We don't. And then it's. Why would we have to bring like Ayuk State?
Commercial Voice/Ad Announcer
You don't.
Joe
You. They don't need. They don't need. They don't need us. Like that's the thing that you gotta
Debo
realize that's way worse. But I understand what you're saying. His, his situation.
Joe
He, he's. He's.
Debo
He just, he just. Yeah, I don't understand that. But when it comes down to it, when you're off the field speaks louder and is talked more about then you're on the field play, you're putting yourself in a position to compromise your position and actually still be able to get a job in this league. And I don't think it's a lot of guys that totally understand that and they believe that. Oh you know what? They need me. No, they don't. They don't need you. You may believe that team needs you. That team don't need you either. Because when it comes down to it, the league is bigger than any one player. It's been around for 100 years. It's going to stay around, you go be dead in the dirt and it's still going to be around.
Joe
The quicker that everybody realizes and they happen, it happens. The league don't need you. You got. You're working for somebody. You're working for a company. So yes, like just as soon as you start feeling entitled, like being on the team is a blessing. Knowing that when you're walking in there, like understand, like you play, oh, you tell somebody I'm the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Brown. Like there's only two of those dudes in the world, so it could easily not be you. You know what I'm saying? Like, everybody's fighting for this spot that you got so understanding, not taking it for granted. Understand it. Like even if you play for 20 years, there's so much more life after this. And dudes are coming to take your spot every year. So when you start playing in an elite level, you get paid because you're playing so well now, they're ready to replace you instantly. They didn't even. They're happy that you are good. You know what I'm saying? But now they're planning on. If you don't do it every single season, it's time. It's easy for you to go and don't get that messed up. Nobody needs you. They don't need you. They want you. They'll deal with you. But don't start making it like, ho,
Debo
listen, man, make the number one thing.
Joe
The number main thing is the main thing.
Debo
You are here to you, you are here to play this game, man. Go ahead and, and, and, and play this game. Get your money. This is your job. This is your job, man. Okay? Now when you go and you work for McDonald's, your job is to, whatever it is to flip them burgers, man, and keep going. You're there to make that money and keep going, get the fries hot, whatever that is. And whatever your job description is, that's what it is. You're not there to be like, oh, I need to be personally treated this way or I need to have more freedom of this and that. No, your job description is this, this is what you get in that job description when guys start taking on their own liberties and going too far with it. And now you get outside stuff, noise. Your personal stuff now is coming in to the actual office. It's coming into the lobby of McDonald's. McDonald's. Your personal should have came in there to McDonald's. Now they, y' all in there fighting whatever it may be. They ain't there talking about, but they're not gonna talk about the McDonald's worker because you're in a higher position. So you got to understand, you know what, it's a lot more to come with that, like.
Joe
Yep, that's just what it is, brother.
Debo
So keep yourself out the news as much as possible and keep your play as high as possible. And then like, like you said, the second thing is the money. He want a bag, he ain't gonna go nowhere for no cheat. Now if he was just saying, you know what, I just want to get in there and you know the low. I can't even. I, I would, I wouldn't even expect him to take the lower, you know what I'm saying? But hey, I don't what's gonna get him in there. I don't know, you know, so we'll see. Tio said he doesn't see a drop off with AJ Brown leaving the Eagles. I mean, they got Divine, he said, I mean they got devonte Smith. He's always been a number one guy. Even when AJ was there. He could have easily been wide receiver one at any game. So again, he's going to show that leadership. He's going to bring those guys along. So I don't see Any, any drop off, those guys are going to be fine. Hey, yo, he said he don't see any drop off. Would you, would you. Why you think Tio said that, man? Cause everybody know it's gonna be some drop off, man. You know what I'm saying? Because they, what did they get to replace him?
Joe
Nothing.
Debo
Okay.
Joe
I'm thinking that Tio is a little bit of. You think he's saying it because he said that he was the best receiver that ever played for the Eagles.
Debo
I, I believe it might be a little. No drop.
Joe
No, no drop off is crazy.
Debo
But not yet. Devonte was the one. Has always, could have easily always been the one. They just gave you the one. Basically what he's saying, he's saying it
Joe
without saying it because I think he. What he's saying too is the devonte, even with the, the leadership part, he's saying you could. Devonte's not going to be on this.
Debo
The leadership is still there.
Joe
He's saying, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, he's not gonna be out there, you know what I'm saying? On the sideline, like putting, telling the quarterback, ah, come on, what's going on here? He's going to be galvanizing the troops. Devontae's really, he's a work pale guy. He's one of those dudes you don't hear nothing about. Devonte Smith. He not going to say nothing good or bad. He's chilling. So as far as like leaders.
Debo
Yeah, I think it was, I think, I think, I think it was a little, little slide in there with him saying it without having to.
Joe
Got to be a little bit slide because you know, if you losing the talent like that, it's instantly not better. You know what I'm saying? Like you have both of them now. You only got devontae. That's a drop off. If you have, you have two, two number ones, that makes your team better. That makes that room, I would think better. I think he's saying if you taking away one though, he's might be saying like the non professionalism or the lack of leadership, the not trying to galvanize that could probably bring it up with devontae just being the sole one and they're trying to get him. Right. I don't think that I'm saying production just going out here, him, AJ being able to go do his job is that drop off period is not going to make them better. I understand with the galvanizing of the troops, you can't galvanize that Much talent, in my opinion. So I think it was a little shot,
Narrator/Commercial Announcer
okay?
Debo
I'm 100% with you. I think it was a little shot, you know what I'm saying? We ain't going to miss nothing. He gone. We already got a one. We had a one. He's been a one. Could have been a one is a one. And him going, we ain't. We ain't gonna lose. Not. It's not going to be any drop off. I don't see any drop off. Yeah, it was a little shot. I'm saying. Best to ever do it. Ever did it here. All that. Yeah, yeah, we got everybody. Come on, man. You know Tio was over there. Stop playing, bro. So he's, you know, without having to say. He said it without having to say, you know what I'm saying? That's, that's, that's. It's kind of the easiest way to do it. Hey, we rounding off right here. I guess we got the World Cup. It's down to the semifinals this week. We got France and Spain, three o' clock today, Tomorrow at three, we got England, Argentina. Argentina. And the World Cup Final will be played Sunday at 3.
Joe
Yes, sir.
Debo
Joe, did you see that Home Run Derby yesterday?
Joe
Yes, I did.
Debo
Oh, my God, you was geeked. What, bro? I'm sitting there watching it, bro. And you know, I ain't even really into, like, baseball like that. I ain't gonna lie to you. But I'm like, you know what, man? The Home Run Derby, don't let me pop on there, man. He is up there, bro. He had eight. He had one out left, right?
Joe
So you get.
Debo
You get to keep popping that thing, bruh. Straight, full swing, straight. Boom,
Tab Ramos
boom.
Debo
We went back to back. He was waiting on the right pitch.
Narrator/Commercial Announcer
And.
Debo
Hey, listen, so I'm watching him, right? I'm watching him. And he do the little. He get that bat right, he do the little swing. He swing that thing around and then put it on his shoulder. I'm like, damn. He ain't swinging around and put it on his shoulder. I'm like, hey. I'm like, he gotta swing it around and put it on the shoulder. And every time he did it, bro, don't last out, boom. I'm like, oh, don't hit. Don't swing on this one. He ain't swinging around and put it on. You know me, I'm superstitious. I'm like, yeah, he ain't swing that thing around. Go and watch it, man. Watch the repeat. I'm trying to tell you, Joe. I'm like, hey, he ain't swing that thing around and put it on the shoulder yet. He swung that thing around, put that thing back on the shot. I said, oh, he about to bomb that bitch.
Joe
Boom. Joe Debo. Oh, dude, that was nice.
Debo
Billy was super.
Joe
He's sitting there watching like, is he about to do it?
Debo
They was up there, dude. That's why I wanted him to bang. Because they was yelling and screaming, Every A1 ain't going to the stands. They was cheering. I'm like, man, y' all hating like, baseball, please, come on. The baseball guys. I'm like, come on, give it to him. Boy, that came. Man, listen, that boy came through on that thing. What was it, Walker?
Joe
Yes, he did, bro. Right on time. And that's how you answer the bell. That's how you answer the bell, Debo. That's how you step up under pressure,
Debo
bruh. I ain't. I ain't never seen nothing like it, actually. I guess up until that. Well, I take. I take it back. The other, the guy from Philly, nobody had hit a home run with one out left until he had did it. And then he came back the next round. He banged four straight, one to win it.
Joe
Shout out.
