Listen, for one, for it to be a preseason game, uncle, it was very exciting. Most of the time, the hall of Fame game can be boring, you know, especially once you get to the second, third and fourth quarters. But throughout the entirety of this game, Uncle Joe, the game was really exciting. I was very surprised. I was very curious what Carson Beckley would look like, you know, with his first start. Obviously being a winning quarterback first at Georgia, then going to, um, and transferring, have a really good season, you know, at, um. I was wondering, would it translate, you know, as far as the speed of the game, being able to process information, you know, after having a. Having a training camp, what he would look like tonight? Carson back looked really good. He was in command of the offense. He was poised. He was efficient. You know, from the pocket. He made some throws. Carolina, they look good too. You know, fourth to be the twos and the threes for the most once

Probably about 10 days. For this. For this?

Yeah. Yeah. There's a lot of. A lot of stuff to improve on, but both coaches have to be happy with what they saw from their offenses. Defense might. Might need a little work, you know, obviously, you know, you know, both teams scoring over 28 points, but outside of that, offensively, those coaches have to be happy.

Before you go, Joe, I thought Haynes King really impressed me because he's in a running offense at Georgia Tech, and so I'm not used to seeing him throw the ball like he did, but he throw the ball like he had been throwing the ball, like he threw, like he played in a pro style offense, which is really, really impressive. I think one thing that they're doing, and I'm gonna let Joe take it over, is is that I love the fact that coaches are identifying Haynes, King. You're going to get basically three and a half quarters of the game. Hey, Carson, Beck, you taking the whole while, it ain't no going there for five or six plays. Come out, you got guys shuffling in and out. They established that early. OO and Joe, you playing? Yeah. So get your mind ready to play the whole damn game. Go ahead, Joe.

Yeah, yeah. Hey, hey, I agree with oo. I thought both quarterbacks played pretty well. You know, the game was pretty exciting. And then when you look at Kings, bro, he went undrafted, Uncle Ocho, you know what I mean? And to be able to come out and be effective the way he was throughout this game and to win that, that, that last minute drive and get a touchdown, I know we talk about, man, it don't mean nothing right now. This, that and the third, but hell, man, when you go undrafted, bro, and you get an opportunity to play, yes, man, you trying to put your stamp on the game, man, that's a highlight that'll go down for the young man. So I was impressed, bro. I, I mean, well, the lawyer, you

were drafted, the more it means something because it's showing. Because a lot of times they need camp bodies. They can't, they can't go to camp with just 53 players. You tie all your damn guys out. Go ahead, Ocho.

And the funny thing about it too, uncle and Joe, listen, the way Hay and King played tonight, he got, he got everybody's attention. Yeah, he has everybody's attention. The fact that you went undrafted, you're able to come out there and look the way you look coming from the type of offense you came from in college, but was able to come here and transition in the NFL and throw the ball as well as you did tonight, as efficient as you did, made all the right reads, made all the right throws, you definitely open some eyes tonight. And I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to quarterback number two. Yes. I'm saying it early because we've already seen Kenny Pickett on multiple teams and we've seen what he can do.

I mean, no, I mean no disrespect by that.

I'm just saying you say Joe, you know, anytime somebody say, man, I ain't mean nothing by it. They meant something by it. I thought, I thought Haynes King had one bad throw. He overthrew Horn Jr. Jimmy Horn Jr. He had him wide open, you know, wide open. They blew the coverage. And he, he just, hey, he just, oh, he said it sailed on him. I was really impressed with Haynes Kings for the very reasons that you guys said is that I never saw. I watched the Georgia Tech. Oh, you remember that? We watched him when they went down to, went down to Colorado and beat Colorado. It was mainly with his legs though. They couldn't stop him from running. Colorado wasn't really any quarterback that had athleticism and they couldn't put.

And they had that good. They had, they couldn't stop that running back either.

And so I was, I can't remember

the running back name, but he was toting that thing.

I'm looking at him like, well, damn. And I think that's part of the reason he probably went undrafted because we're, we're not surprised by this because we saw this a lot. If you go back and study the 70s, 80s and even the 90s when guys came from a running style system, those quarterbacks didn't get drafted high. They got, they either, what did they do? They either switched positions, they became a running back, wide receiver or they went to db. They didn't get no opportunity to play no quarterback. Now they're seeing, they give, give them a little bit more leeway. These guys got got coaches now. They're going to spend six, eight weeks with the coach after the season's over, get up, get into a pro style offense, learn to take the ball under center. But still, still a lot of people still from the gun. Sean McVeigh, Kyle Shanahan is two of the coaches that they like to play their quarterback to get up under center. But most people still take it from the gun. And so guys didn't get opportunities that came from running especially they were their color. They ain't get them get. They ain't getting them opportunities. They ain't getting them opportunities. Tommy Frazier ain't getting no opportunity. Jamel Holloway ain't getting no opportunity. You go back and look at the guys and study the guys that came out of those systems. They didn't get opportunities like that. Yeah, so it was good to see. I thought Carson Beck played really well. Now you understand, you're like, damn. I, I just didn't understand why that man had that kind of talent at Georgia. And once he got hurt I guess they got hurt. And then Stockton came in there. You know, hey, you know, sometimes guys, you get hurt, hey, you get wildly pipped. And we've seen it happen, you know.

You know, hey, but you know, you. You know, you. You almost offering that bag.
