NFL has informed teams that it will not be holding a supplemental draft, mooning that Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby will not be eligible to enter the NFL in 2026. The CBA allows league to decide whether to hold a supplemental draft and and this year it won't. To sum up, a letter sent to Brendan Sorsby Brendan Sorsby the league wasn't planning on having a supplemental draft this year and so Sorensby application was the only one they received. With Sorensby submitting only a handful of days ahead of the deadline, the NFL felt that it wasn't enough time to properly evaluate the situation and didn't have time to complete the record of an NCAA investigation. The petition did not have any supporting information or documentation as to why Sourceby should be granted entry after being declared ineligible to play by college football. The lead did make it clear that it was very had real concerns regarding the pattern of improper gambling activity during swordsby collegiate career. The NFL used the word integrity several times within the letter and what appears to be an effort to drive home their stance on gambling. It closes the state by playing is a privilege and Soresby should focus on preparing for a possible entry in 2027.
Uncle Ocho
Damn.
Ocho
So what is it? Hey, listen, I know he made a mistake. Well, it's not a mistake. I mean, well, everything a mistake. He just did it multiple times over and over because nobody knew, nobody found out obviously, until it was. It was too late. But what does he do now? Obviously.
Joe
Well, he ain't playing the NFL. He can go to college. He can go to Canada.
Ocho
Play one. Play one year in Canada. Yeah, who has. I wonder who has his rights because that would be a good thing to do instead of taking the whole year off. Go play. Go play a year in Canada, boy. I mean, look, do that and get a better understanding on how good them boys is down there. Ain't gonna be no walk in the park, I can tell you that.
Uncle Ocho
All them boys down there home rain the man.
Ocho
Hey, Joe, why went to Canada, boy? Thinking it was gonna be sweet.
Uncle Ocho
Hey, what happened? Ojo?
Joe
What? What were you Ojo? Who you play for?
Ocho
I was in Montreal with the Alaws, okay? Hey, hey, Joe. It was the wake up call every week, Joe. No matter who he was playing. I'm talking about Joe. I'm on the sideline confused, like, what the hell is y' all doing down here? Yeah, I'm talking about, Joe. Like that, you know, so think about it like this. The NFL. NFL has its premier elite players. Every team has their elite players. When we talk about your backups and your role players, well, hell, that could be anybody over there. You can. You can exchange players in Canada and put them on NFL team and you wouldn't know who's who outside. Outside of the elite players. Now, that's different. You know, your Jamar Chase or Justin Jefferson.
Joe
Yeah, Burrows.
Ocho
Yeah, that's different. But the resident boys down in Canada, man, stop playing.
Joe
They get down like that, Joe, I
Ocho
swear, I wouldn't lie to you. Especially when. Not when it comes no goddamn football. Them boys could play some ball, Joe. It either was politics or number crunching or I got in trouble in college.
Joe
I didn't get the opportunity because you remember Cameron Wake started off in Canada.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
In Miami, he ended up with 100 sacks.
Ocho
Yeah. Hey, Joe. You talk about a humbling experience, Joe. Yeah, I mean, I'm already on. I'm already on the back end of my career anyway. You know, I wanted to.
Joe
I think that had more to do with it. Anything, Ocho. I don't think your heart was in it anymore.
Ocho
You don't think so?
Joe
No. Damn, your heart wouldn't.
Ocho
It felt like it, huh?
Joe
It was. You might know. I keep. I shoot you straight. It wasn't dark with it anymore. His heart wasn't in it.
Ocho
Hey, Joe, I just want. I just wanted to finish on my terms, you know?
Joe
That's all you wanted to finish in your hometown. And when that got taken away.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
You weren't the same.
Ocho
Yeah, they took it away. I might still get opportunity. You never know.
Joe
We about to put. We about to put. We about to put. Get T shirt with all three our heads on it. You can sit your old ass down, man. The NCAA Division 1 cabinet has unanimously voted to approve its age based eligibility model. This will grant athletes five years of eligibility over five seasons, notably eliminating red shirts and waivers. According to the NCAA Division 1, student athletes will receive five years of eligibility if they enroll in college no later than the academic year following their 19th birthday. Limited exceptions will be granted for factors such as religious missions like byu. Yeah, guys normally. Guys normally take a missionary trip. They have to go abroad for a year. Military services. You're in the army, you're in the Navy. You normally have to go do a beer. David a la David Robinson a la Roger Starbuck. Schools will have the Flexibility regarding student athletes who have remaining eligibility after the current academic year at the discretion of each school, these student athletes can either have an age based model applied to them or. Or continue to follow the original NCAA eligibility rules. Look, I got. Look, I think. I think what happened is that Covid put this stuff in a tape, man. We shouldn't have guys gotten. You shouldn't get six, seven, eight, nine years of eligibility, man. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, guys. I just can't. I've got 27. 26, 27.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Oh, no.
Uncle Ocho
Hey, that Kobe killed it, bro. Kobe killed it because a lot of cats went years without playing and they still got that eligibility back. Yeah, and it's unfortunate because we ain't come up like that, bro. No, you know what I mean? Think about it. You could still. Is it still that you can go to junior college for two years and still have four years of eligibility at a Power 5?
Joe
Ash. Did they put it in there? Can you go to junior college and still have four years? Because normally if you went to junior college for two, you had two left.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, that's how. But no, that's what I'm saying now. It's been like you could go to junior college, do two years at junior colleges, still get a scholarship to go to a power five for four years. Yes. And that's how guys are starting to be 24, 25 years old.
Joe
Yeah.
Uncle Ocho
You know what I mean, man, Listen, this is a professional sport now, Uncle Ocho. We don't want no 18, 19 year olds in here, man. Hey, hey, we don't want.
Ocho
Hold on, Joe. We trying to win now.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, we trying to win.
Ocho
Listen, if you can help us win, we gonna give you a little bag.
Joe
Yeah, if you.
Uncle Ocho
The upper echelon. Meaning like if you top 20, you know, as a freshman, you probably could
Joe
go somewhere and play.
Uncle Ocho
But I say five star. But outside of that, bro, just a normal, regular old 19 year old who could play, man, please.
Joe
Yeah, but it's. I mean, guys, 25. I'm. I'm out there. I'm 18, 19, and this guy 24.
Uncle Ocho
25.
Joe
Yeah, we paying.
Uncle Ocho
We paying too much money nowadays.
Ocho
Damn.
Joe
Yeah, Joe, it's still. Following the recent landmark antitrust ruling and core actions such as Diego Pavia case against the ncaa. Time spent playing at junior college level does not count against your four years of NCAA eligibility. Thus effectively allows athletes to play two years of juco and then transfer. Excuse me, Play at juco and still maintain four full years of NCAA eligibility.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah. So think about that think about, you come out of high school and you ain't getting recruited. For real, you. You need to still develop mentally, physically, all that. And you can go to junior college for two years, prepare yourself, and then look, when you come out of junior college. Uncle Ocho, you 21, 22 years old here. You a grown ass man now. Yes. Yeah. You don't think a power five gonna want you because you've been in the system already.
Joe
Yeah.
Uncle Ocho
You know how to play. You know what it takes, you know, to grind. You know what I mean?
Joe
That's why they like. That's why they like Joe. That's why they like guys. They like going into the portal because that guy already knows, like, what it's like to be a college. A student. College student. Athlete.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
I guess we shouldn't call them students anymore. They call it. They call professional athletes now. They just happen to go to college. But yeah, I. I like. Come on now. I mean, they were. They were doing too much. These guys had 6, 7, 8, 9. Guy 27, 28, playing college football.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Ocho
Hey, hey, what's. Young boy named Un from the Miami Hurricane. The tight end. That was what he had.
Joe
School like, Joe, like 27 this past year.
Ocho
Yeah.
Uncle Ocho
Hey.
Joe
Yeah.
Ocho
Hey, hey, Joe, he been there for a little minute, boy.
Uncle Ocho
Damn.
Joe
He done had. He done red. He done red shirted. Medical. Red shirt, Covid. Red shirt.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah. Hey, can y' all imagine being 27 out there on a college field? The way y' all probably cutting up
Joe
in the league, bro, I couldn't imagine.
Ocho
I would have scored 10 touchdowns, Joe.
Joe
I got to the league. I got to the league. I was 22. Cause I didn't.
Uncle Ocho
Red shirt. Yeah.
Joe
And I was looking back, I was like, man, can you imagine if I was a College freshman at 22, what I would do to these kids, Right? I did this at 18. I did this at 18. 19. Can you imagine, Joe, can you imagine your first two years in the NBA? You a college student?
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, I probably. I averaged about about 28 a game.
Commercial Narrator
What?
Uncle Ocho
It's just so much that you learn,
Joe
bro, when you go pro.
Ocho
I was getting ready to say that
Uncle Ocho
you learn so much of the nuances of the game, like how to. How to make the game easier for yourself. You, you, you, you, you. You learn great work habits, you know? And mentally, bro, you just. In a whole. A totally different space, man. That's why when you look at. When I be watching college basketball, I'm like, man, boy, if it was like this when I was playing, damn.
Joe
But I think the thing is, guys, we were now because the guy, they make money. Joe, ain't nobody really, unless you like the top top guys. Ain't nobody trying to leave. Oh, so I'm trying to keep getting that little one, little, little 500,000 million dollars. We were trying. The only way you get that kind of money, you had to go professional. Now we're getting professional money at college.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah. Hey, hey. And guess what? After, after your duration in college, that's it. A lot of them guys ain't gonna never play the game again, whether it's basketball, football. So you better take advantage of it while you young, you know? I mean, everybody ain't gonna make it to the pros, Unc.
Joe
So if, hey, if I can make me a couple of million dollars before I get there and give me a head start on the. On life.
Ocho
Oh, yeah.
Uncle Ocho
Hello.
Ocho
Hey, hold on. If I don't make it.
Joe
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. If I don't make it, give me a head start on life.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah. Hello.
Joe
George Kittle spoke out against NFL teams being willing to use grass for the World cup matches, but not for their own players via the nflpa. We've made it clear that we prefer grass fields. We know it's better on our bodies and clearly we know it's possible based on everything that went on, putting grass fields for the World cup in each stadium. At this point, it comes down to the NFL making it a priority and choosing to invest in us as players because our bodies are our business, which they get to capitalize on. Ocho, do you agree with Kittle?
Ocho
I mean, this has always been a real tough one for me too, Uncle Joe. And for me, you look at all the injuries, right? You look at the injuries when it comes to soccer, whether players are playing at their clubs or whether they're playing here at the World Cup.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Ocho
And the rate of injuries for them as far as ACL tears is so far few than the NFL. And most of the time we get hurt, it's on the artificial surface.
Joe
Yes.
Ocho
And what do we say it is? We say we're tearing our ACLs because of the surface. So, I mean, is there some truth to it? Probably so. But one of the things that what happened is now you're adding more money having owners to have to pay for maintenance to the grass because most of the stadiums that have the artificial turf on is cold weather stadiums where it gets cold at some point. Now if you have grass. But when you get the goddamn November, December and January, well, you have Hell on your hands. I get it, though. I understand where Kittle's coming from. We've seen it countless times with players having injuries on the artificial turf. And, I mean, for someone that never got injured and it played on artificial turf.
Tab Ramos
Unc.
Ocho
And Joe, you know, my whole life in Cincinnati, I think I had grass my first year before they changed it. I just. I get it. I get it.
Joe
Y' all did Ocho. As a matter of fact, I remember you guys used to have grass. Well, first at Riverfront, you guys had turf. Yeah. And then. And the state of that you got now, because I remember my last year, I think we played y' all in O2.
Ocho
Yeah, see, we already had. We had. We had.
Joe
Y' all had grass then, didn't you? Didn't y' all switch to turf? What? When did y' all go to synthetic grass? I think it might have been, like, 05.04.04.05.
Ocho
It might have been 03.
Tab Ramos
Huh?
Ocho
Okay, 03. I can't. I can't remember. But I, I mean, I, I, I didn't mind. Joe, Joe, I don't. I don't care what I'm on. But you might. They're on ice, but I'm gonna run routes on ice, you know?
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Ocho
Hey, Joanne, I'm saying, Unc, did you
Joe
have a preference when you played grass? Grass. Absolutely. Grass. Grass. Grass. And then, look, we always had grass. And the Chargers always had grass. Now, the Chargers, because they shared the field with the baseball. So you just hope to avoid the charges before September. If you got October on, you know, you're gonna get nice weather and you're gonna get grass. We always had grass. Kansas City had turf. Then they went to grass. The Kingdome. The Seattle Seahawks used to play in the Kingdome. That was turf. Then they went outside, and then when they started building luminous field, they played at Husky Stadium, that was turf. And then they got grass. And so, like, the last couple of years, everything that I played on is within my division was grass.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Then go to Baltimore. Baltimore was grass. Jacksonville was grass. Tennessee was grass. Cleveland was grass.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Cincinnati was the only one. But I think Cincinnati, by the time I got to Baltimore, Cincinnati was grass.
Ocho
So.
Joe
But no, Joe, I didn't like the turf because the old turf, now, they call this field turf, but the old turf was basically concrete with a carpet rolled on top of it. It was hard. And you stayed with strawberries. You didn't really know how bad until you got your ass in the shower after the game. What? And then have your ass red Cause you don't slid on that turf. You did the peel.
Tab Ramos
Hey.
Joe
Yeah. Elbows and your forearms, your knees. So, no, I prefer grass, but to Ocho's point, the upkeep and the maintenance of it. Remember, the objective of any corporation.
Ocho
Yes.
Joe
Is to make as much as we possibly can while spending as little as we possibly can.
Ocho
Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
Joe
That's it. That's. That's a. Output is here. Profits up there. Yeah, that's just. That's just the way it is. Yes. And yeah. And like you said. Plus also, they do so many other things. They got college football games there. They got concerts there. Can you imagine? You got a concert and you got 70,000 people in there.
Ocho
Grass. Nope.
Joe
That stadium, that, that, that, that, that, that concert stadium.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
People walking.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Eat that up.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
So I. I get. I totally understand. I think. I think the only two, like, true, True grass is. Is like Houston and Arizona.
Ocho
Arizona.
Joe
They roll them out on pallets.
Ocho
Hey, hey, Joe. They grass so beautiful. Boy. I'm talking about that, that low Bermuda grass.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ocho
Joe. I'm. Hey, it's like I've been on the golf course once, but it looked like that. Golf course grass, Joe.
Tab Ramos
Yeah.
Joe
St. Augustine, because, you know, look, you got. You got fescue, you got centipede, you got St. Augustine, you got Kentucky bluegrass. So it all depends because certain grasses grow different in certain areas. Some grass need a lot of sunlight, some grass doesn't need as much sunlight. So you got to understand where you are, proximity in the region that you live in.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Type of guy See that? St. Augustine is a thick type of grass.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
And some people like to kind of have that grass for the yard. You can't cut it too low because it'll burn.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
And then some people like centipedes, some people like fescue in the Kentucky blue. I don't know what Augusta nationally is, so. But they say. They said Houston turf now. So they said Houston is field turf now. Tampa has natural grass. Okay. But all I know is I got tired of cutting all of it. Don't push your law over and grab my yard.
Uncle Ocho
Oh, yeah.
Joe
Drake flexed on ig that he won a million dollars betting on Canada to beat South Africa in the World cup today after placing 707 on his country, he walks away with a smooth profit of 231,000.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Ocho
How much. How much he bet?
Joe
He bet 770.
Ocho
$770.
Joe
770,000.
Uncle Ocho
Oh, yeah.
Joe
And he can't. But here's the thing. Oo they scored. They scored with like. Oh, they scored left in extra time.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
On stoppage time. Yes.
Ocho
Yeah, it was a good game. South Africa. South Africa had some chances, too. They just. They did find the back of the net.
Uncle Ocho
Hey, hey. You can't even enjoy watching the damn game. You spend that type of money gambling? Hell, no.
Joe
But for me, that don't make no sense, though. 7. I bet 770 to win 231. No, I need to bet 231 to win 770,
Uncle Ocho
right?
Joe
I don't know. I don't know how y' all look at it, but that's how I look at it. Joe and Ocho, man. Yeah, I need to bet little to win a lot, right? I ain't trying to bet a lot to win a little.
Uncle Ocho
I'm saying. Canada was favorite, though, wasn't it?
Joe
Yes.
Uncle Ocho
I think that's probably why, if they were the underdog.

Ocho Gotta know what you want to think about this one. Ocho. Here we go. Have decided not to include OJ on their wall of fame in the new High Mark stadium.
Uncle Ocho
Wow.
Joe
President of Business Operations Pete. I don't know his last name, but his name is Pete. We have made an organizational decision. Yes, that he is not a fit to display inside our new stadium and family circle. Simpson was the first player added to the Bills Wall of Fame in 1980. Oh. Do you have any issue with the Bills trying to erase football legacy of O.J. simpson?
Ocho
Well listen, they can't erase football legacy now. They, they can not put him up there. But what he, what he accomplished when he played, obviously it's, it's cemented. That's not going anywhere. So them choosing obviously a business decision not to put him up in the new stadium and just based off all the stuff that happened off the field, that's all. And listen, what he did on the field can be erased. And the fact that they're not putting it up there and allowing people to view some of the things that he did for that organization back during that time, it doesn't matter. For those that know the game, for those that understand the game, for those that were around to watch O.J. play, I didn't get a chance to see him play, but I understand what he meant for the game. I understand what he did while he was playing.
Joe
I did commercials.
Ocho
Oh, yeah. Hey. The whole nine yards. But you have to understand, I did. Yeah, yeah. From a business standpoint, Joe. Yeah, we understand why they're not putting him in there.
Tab Ramos
We.
Ocho
We know. We know.
Uncle Ocho
Nah, nah, nah. Break it down for me and Chad. We want to know why they ain't putting him in there.
Ocho
I mean, Joe, I mean, you saying
Uncle Ocho
they seen the documentary.
Ocho
You ain't seen the documentary?
Uncle Ocho
I seen it, yeah.
Ocho
Yeah. I mean, they don't. That's. It brings, not confusion. But if I'm building something new, man, especially like a stadium that the one person, the one polarizing figure that's been a part of our organization that has had some unfortunate circumstances off the field, I don't want to bring that to my new place.
Uncle Ocho
Oh, so you saying he did it?
Ocho
He did.
Tab Ramos
Hey, Joe.
Ocho
I wasn't there, Joe. I don't. I don't know.
Uncle Ocho
I'm saying if you watch it, Unc, I know you've seen it. Unc did what you think?
Joe
All I know, that this is what they tell us. 12 men and jury. A jury of his peers said he was innocent.
Ocho
Yeah, so he's innocent.
Joe
The same thing they told us when George Zimmerman walked his ass up out of court.
Uncle Ocho
Hello.
Joe
The same thing that they told us when these police officers go between 12 men and 12 women, okay? 12 men and women, a jury of their peers, and they walk. They say, the jury have spoken. The jury spoke.
Ocho
What you think?
Joe
All that conjecture, all that innuendo, all that speculation does not matter. Well, this. I ain't been to law school, but I took a couple of law classes. The first thing they tell you, it doesn't matter what you think. It only matters what you can prove.
Ocho
Yeah, yeah.
Uncle Ocho
Hey.
Ocho
Hey.
Uncle Ocho
Damn it.
Joe
And there's a difference between criminal and civil. In criminal, you gotta prove it beyond a reasonable shadow of a doubt. In civil is preponderance of the evidence.
Ocho
What he went to jail for, huh? Taking his memorabilia back.
Joe
Here's the thing. And this is what I didn't understand about him in this situation.
Ocho
Why you laughing, Joe?
Joe
Because it was memorabilia, Ojo.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
The thing. The only thing that. The only thing that. Because he lost civilly. So anything. All the autograph signings, anything that he got, that money would have went to the families of the. Of the fallen people.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Why are you trying to get that back? Okay. They stole it. So what? Hey. Hey, man, my merch got stolen, man. It's insured, man.
Uncle Ocho
And beat a whole murder case.
Joe
Hey, it wouldn't. Sit down.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Hey, but sit down.
Uncle Ocho
He. He had good representation, you know?
Ocho
The best.
Pharmaceutical Ad Voice
Yes.
Joe
The Dream Team.
Ocho
Hey. The best at that time.
Joe
Johnny Cochran, F. Lee Bailey. He had Robert Kardashian. He had, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh. Barry Shaq. The Innocence Project. How many. I don't know how many people know, but go check the innocent projects. Embarrassing. The best.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
They call it the Dream Team. It was the. It was a trial of the century. Maybe you got to go back even further, maybe to the Lindbergh child kidnapping. I know y'. All. I don't want to get too far back, but I'm just saying, this is how big this was.
Uncle Ocho
He g. He got lucky, though. His ass got lucky. Because if it wasn't for. If it weren't for that damn furman. Hey.
Joe
All right, now, the moment they put up. The moment they put us on there was over, because they didn't forget. Think about it. Everybody saw. Millions and millions of people.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Saw what they did to Rodney King.
Uncle Ocho
Yep.
Joe
And they walked. Watched them walk out of the courtroom.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
A couple of years earlier, they saw what happened to Natasha Harlins. See, when things happen to them, they say, respect this decision that 12 men and women have spoken.
Ocho
Yes, sir.
Joe
But now all of a sudden, they. Y' all know he did it. Yeah, but, hell, I know. I know a lot of people did.
Uncle Ocho
Hello.
Joe
Hello?
Uncle Ocho
Hello?
Joe
Nah, I don't know nothing. All I know is those men and women spoke and they said, not guilty.
Ocho
Yeah, but listen, even with that.
Joe
And he said, hey. He said what?
Tony Ayo
That.
Joe
What that mean? He said, you guilty? Then they said, I don't know. I wasn't there. They said, O.J. said, if I'm not guilty, having my gloves back. I just said that. What he said. I don't know if he said that.
Uncle Ocho
Hey, hey.
Joe
I don't know. He said it.
Ocho
Hey. Innocent or not, we have to understand how those organizations think. You have to understand how those people that sit in power think yeah, he played organization, but to us, he's still a stain. And putting him in this new. In this new building, it ain't happening. Innocent or not.
Joe
You're right, Ocho. You're right.
Ocho
It's too many red flags. I mean, for those in the chat that might be Bill's fans or might say, whoa. Ojo tripping. No, I'm not tripping. I'm just thinking how they thinking. Yeah, I'm not thinking how we thinking. Like, if it was me, I understand what he did for my franchise. He. He'd be up there if it was me, but, hey, I don't own the Bills. That ain't my stadium. I know how they thinking, though. Hell, no, we ain't putting them in our new.
Joe
I don't think anybody. I don't. Look, we. We get upset, but I don't think anybody's surprised because it's just like any restaurant, any public building, guess what they say? We reserve the right to refuse service. Yeah, we reserve the. We reserve the right to put you up in this building or not. That's just. That's. That's just. That's just the way it is. Yeah, that's just the way it is. I mean, I'm not surprised. But you guys say you didn't see. I'm old enough to remember. If you played running back, you wanted one number 32. 32, yes, sir. You wanted to be the Juice. Now, I am not telling you. I'm not telling what somebody told me. Joe. Yeah, I ain't telling what. I ain't telling what. I'm telling you what I know.
Uncle Ocho
Hello. Hello.
Joe
If you played running back, you wanted 32. Yeah, the juice was it.
Ocho
I seen. I seen. I. Joe, I had to watch the highlights to get a better understanding on how good.
Joe
Oh, he was. He was every. He was. He had it all. He had world class speed. Yeah, he what? And he had a commercial appear before O.J. they would. No, no, Black was doing. Well, O.J. was getting commercials. Movies, car commercials.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, yeah.
Joe
He's the first in the movie. Kissing. Kissing people on tv.
Ocho
Remember him in the Naked Gun, Joe?
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, yeah, I see it.
Joe
I think. I'm trying to think. Hold on. I forgot what he meant. Elizabeth Montgomery.
Ocho
Hey, that was.
Joe
I think. I think that was the movie that he was in. No, Juice was. Juice was it. And like I said, I don't. I don't. I don't really, really talk about that situation, but I'm just saying is that it seems to be that things happen. Blacks go to trial Go to court and they get a non guilty. Well, you know, he did it. But we just accept. We are supposed to accept when the jury says not innocent with someone else.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Just take it at that. The jury's spoken. Yeah, okay, that. But, you know, I heard all the story. I. I've heard a lot of things about O.J. that really, that people really know, knew him. And you know, Jay Z had the song says, you know, I ain't black. I'm O.J.
Ocho
right.
Joe
Yeah.
Ocho
On the 444.
Joe
Sometimes you have to get reminded who you are.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Yeah.
Ocho
Bring you back down to earth, huh?
Joe
What Kanye say, no matter how you still end on a coop. Right.
Ocho
No matter what.
Joe
So. But look, I'm not surprised by this. I'm not surprised that they took this stance. I was going to be more shocked had they put. Allowed it to go.
Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Because had they do it, if they had done it in the old stadium. You see that where everybody know that the silhouette man, that's what his OJ Name used to be. So now in the new stadium, moving forward, and for the most part, when you go to the stadium, I mean, I did. I mean, but how many fans, Ocho Joe, go to a stadium and actually look, try to look at all the greats that play. I did.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Because I'm a fan. I'm a fan. I'm a fan. I'm a fan of the NFL. I'm a historian of the game. So obviously, you know, you go to the stadium and you see, when you go to Kansas City and you see all these names up there, you're like, damn.
Ocho
Yeah, it's dope. It's dope. I like, I like, I like. Do I like doing that? I like doing that.
Joe
Yeah. And now they never thinking, ojo, would I set foot in Mile High that one day my name would be up there?
Uncle Ocho
Absolutely.
Joe
Then one day my name would have the hall of Fame crest next to it.
Uncle Ocho
Damn.
Joe
I never, never in a million years. Ocho Joe. I went to the hall of. We played in the hall of fame game in 1991. I went in the building. I'm in the building, Joe,
Ocho
man.
Joe
Ocho, you remember at the Pro Bowl.
Tony Ayo
Yes, sir.
Joe
All the hall of Famers that got selected would come over to the Pro Bowl. You. So you meet them at the promo, they'd have on the Hawaiian shirts. Normally they have on khakis and they shake your head. They come out there at halftime.
Uncle Ocho
They.
Joe
I think now they, they allowed me to come out during the Super Bowl.
Ocho
Right.
Joe
Because obviously, obviously, the hall of the Pro bowl isn't after the super bowl anymore. And it's, you know, it's a thing. They have it in Orlando, wherever they have it. I think they had it in Vegas. But that was. That was the thing then I was like. Like, I remember in 91, we. As a matter of fact, we played the Lions in the hall of Fame game in the building. Just having a good old time. Like, damn, man. It's cool, man. Such and such, man. Look at. They go Joe Green, they go, this one, they go. That one ain't even dawned on me. Hall of Fame ain't crossing my mind. Having my name up in the stadium ain't even crossing my mind, man. I'm just hoping I can make me pay. Let me get me about two or three years. At least I can tell my kids I played in the NFL. Yeah, I ain't lie. Cause you know something? Yeah, man, I played. And hey, I got me two or three years old joke. Man, I had a nice little NFL career. Had a nice little run. Ain't a whole lot of people get to say they play in the NFL. I don't give a damn how long they played.
Ocho
Yeah.
Uncle Ocho
One percent, man.
Joe
Man. Yeah. But I'm not surprised. Hey, it's like, look, it probably. It probably would have caused more of a distraction had they put it in there as opposed to them leaving it out.
Uncle Ocho
You think so? Yeah. I don't know about that one.
Joe
Yeah, man. You see, man, Joe, they bulldoze that house. You do realize that, right? They bulldoze that house. If you don't know. If you don't know, you never know. His. That house was right where it was. Think about that. They tore the house down. They bulldozed it. They built over it.
Uncle Ocho
Damn.
Joe
You know what? Let's go. Have you ever found yourself craving a cold snack?
Uncle Ocho
Yep.
Joe
Montucky makes my favorite cold snack. It's a cold, snackable beer.

It's the rage bait. It feels like it's trying to divide people.

I love days like these at the pool, but my moderate to severe plaque psoriasis can sometimes take me out of the moment. I'm ready to make a splash with clearer skin thanks to Skyrizi risankizumab RZA Skyrizi is a prescription only injection for adults who are candidates for systemic or phototherapy. The Lions have released Terry and Arnold. Arnold was facing life in prison on kidnapping and robbery charges. Arnold had his Bond set at $1 million Monday in Hillsborough County, Florida. Judge Christopher Sabelli, who added the following instructions. He's not allowed to contact the six co defendants or witnesses in the case. He must surrender his passport within 48 hours. He was ordered confined to his residency in Tallahassee, Florida, except when he would be playing, training and traveling with alliance or making court related appearances or legal appointments. The state asked the judge to require Arnold to wear a GPS tracking device, but attorneys argued that he would not be able to play football with such a device. Another situation, Ocho, I guess he had an Airbnb. Normally, I guess if you have an Airbnb, you're supposed to have insurance on it.
Ocho
Yes.
Joe
Somehow jewelry, something got missing. He felt the people that did it, he knew who it was. And what's being reported is allegedly like they got some girls and they set the guys set them up. And allegedly, allegedly, that's what happened. But the police report says the people that they have, that wasn't the people that did it from what they do.
Uncle Ocho
Right.
Joe
And look, it's a tough situation. Look, I know the attorney that he represent, Harvey Steinberg. Harvey's out of Denver. Yeah, normally Broncos, when they have a case. I don't know one person that's ever not had something going in Denver that Harvey Steinberg didn't handle it. So he is as good as that you're gonna find.
Uncle Ocho
So the Lions cut him though, right?
Joe
They cut him?
Ocho
Yeah, they let him go.
Joe
I'm not surprised by this, Ocho. No, I don't think anybody's surprised by this.
Ocho
No, absolutely not. But you got to make better decisions, Uncle Joe. Yeah, we got to make better decisions. Matter of fact, the people around you, the people around you, they also have to make better decisions. You know, I'm not sure who. I'm not sure who idea it was. Understanding. Okay, Some. Something is missing. Something is going missing. There should be no retaliation for that, especially nobody that's under our. I'm under. My umbrella is me being the golden goose. As me being the football player. If anything does go wrong, it's all coming back on me. It's not coming back on y'. All.
Uncle Ocho
Some people ain't thinking like that, though, Ocho. I'm telling you. Look, you got. You gotta look at this young man's situation. Clearly, he wasn't thinking like that. Hell, he felt somebody wronged him. Hey, hold on. You think y' all finna get over on me? He gonna try to handle it with his own hands, and obviously that was the wrong thing to do. But some people don't think logically. You know, when something happens to you and you feel like you've been disrespected, bro.
Ocho
Hey, Joe, once you. Once you in that league, once you make it and those that are around, you gotta understand, once you the golden goose. All that stuff used to do back in the days, you know, when you ain't had nothing going on. And listen, somebody takes something from me, all right, I gotta get it how I get it, okay, then I understand. But once you make it, man, listen, man, whatever it was they stole. You know what, man, listen, my homeboys, listen. We ain't gonna worry about that. We ain't gonna worry about that.
Uncle Ocho
Hey, man, we. We all know that's how we. That's how you should handle it. But, hey, man, your influences around you are everything, bro. They are everything. They. Everything.
Ocho
So now you. Now you have a job. Because. Because of the influences around you, man, that.
Joe
That should be the least of his worries. He could possibly spend the rest of his damn life in jail. That should be the most important thing, right? Losing. Losing money is one thing. Trust me. Having your ass in jail is something entirely different. And like I said, stuff that. Look, and we. We've all said this. Somebody get the drop on you, okay? I got a watch on. I got a necklace on. Somebody get the drop on your bro. Here, take this.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
I ain't tousling about no. What? There is nothing that's been created that can't be replaced other than life. My life worth more than anything that I've ever owned. I gotta make it home. I gotta make it home to my kids. I gotta make it home to my brother and sister. I got people that love me. I know. If you think your family got drama, wait till you see Little Brother on Netflix. You got John Cena playing a big time real estate superstar whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his wild little brother, played by Eric Andre, comes crashing back into the picture. And trust me, Eric Andre is complete chaos. This thing got everybody in it. Michelle Moynihan, Christopher Maloney, Ego Wodom, Sherry Cola, straight comedy heavyweights. The movie has outrageous moments, R rated physical comedy, crazy situations, but it also has heart. That's what surprised me. You're going to laugh a lot. But underneath all that madness is really about family, pressure, rivalry, and trying to hold your life together when everything goes off the rail. If you've ever watched one of them luxury real estate shows, oh, they're having fun with that too. Watch Little Brother, now playing only on Netflix. I don't give a damn about no necklace, about no watch, about nothing, car, nothing. Hell, I get out, walk, somebody pick me up, they'll recognize. Man, I look like Charlotte. Pull side of rope. Hey, give me a ride to the crib. Damn, man, we just. We. We have to think. We have to think differently. We have to think smarter. And we got to do a better job. I mean, we got to do a better job of protecting ourselves. Let's. Let's. Look, Lauryn Hill said something very interesting like last night. If they not going to respect us, let us not disrespect us. We can work together. We can.
Ocho
Hey, if anybody got to have a sound mind, if the athlete's not going to have a sound mind, somebody in your circle got to have it.
Joe
You right, Ocho.
Ocho
Somebody, huh? I told you. Hey, Joe, when we was young, when we was younger, during my day, obviously I come up through the 80s and 90s, that era. You know how that era was? You know what that was about? Me trying to be cool and wanting to be with all of them. Man, if you don't get your ass from around here, man, this ain't what you do.
Joe
That used to be how it was, though, Ojo.
Ocho
We had structure and there was discipline. Even them boys that's doing what the people that's doing the shit that's wrong.
Pharmaceutical Ad Voice
Joe.
Ocho
It was structure and discipline. If you don't rock on that side of the track, you not even allowed to come riding there.
Joe
Nope.
Ocho
Somebody got to be in the right state of mind.
Uncle Ocho
Could be taken away from you just like that, boy.
Joe
Yeah, for sure. Joe, you remember Burning Forest, the fighter?
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know you talking about.
Joe
Yeah, Try to track. Hey, try to track the guy down. Nah, man. And the thing is, Joe, Ocho, I Don't even want nobody. Hey, y', all, we cool. I got home, man. I grew up with a lot. I grew up with you. But how you move? I don't move like that.
Ocho
Right?
Joe
And because I don't move like that, I can't have you in my circle. Circle?
Uncle Ocho
Yeah.
Joe
Hey, I used to go around the corner. Hey. And I stopped it. You know what? Hey, man, I ain't changed, man. I'm still sharp, bro. No, no, no, I can still be sharp. I ain't got to hang around here to do that. And I appreciate them, man. They like sharp, man. Come on, man. You know I can't let you ride the town. Cause you get stopped. I got the stuff on me that
Uncle Ocho
the headline's gonna be you all day long.
Joe
They. Hey, man, they like Sean. When I go in there, man, I tell him, that's my homeboy. Me and him. Me and him went to school together. I let. Well, you know, you can tell them that when they come out. You ain't got to go in there to tell them. You know what I'm saying? They like, hey, bro, you. Hey, man, they don't even believe me. Well, when you come out. When they come out, the couple right here, my sister tell them, say, yeah, we went to school together. You ain't got to go back in there to prove that. But.
Uncle Ocho
Nah,
Joe
damn, man, Taryn. But, Ocho, you said something very important. That used to be how it was. They protected us. Like, man, you ain't. You ain't get your ass around from here
Uncle Ocho
exactly how it used to be.
Ocho
Hey, the same one Joe still here? Yeah, still. He's still. Still here.
Uncle Ocho
Ain't gonna lie. A lot of cats I grew up with, man. A lot of them gone, too, boy. Yeah, yeah. Like from the neighborhood, Like. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Joe
Oh, they got time. Yeah. A lot of them ones that I grew up with my, like, my age or a couple of years younger than me. Oh, they got time. And what I don't get is they do a nickel, get out for six months, right back, do a dime, get out, go right back. I'm like, what is the allure that y' all keep going back?
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, it's the hustle in them that they can't shake, bro. They can't shake that hustle, that fast money. They can't shake it. Gotta get back out there in the field, baby.
Joe
And they. Joe, they love bragging, man. We be watching. I said, man, I went to school with him. That's my boy they love. I'm like, bro, you do Realize you don't have to be in there to be proud of what I've done. Yeah, we went to school because, you know, people come around and they come from different area. Sharp, tell them, didn't I play with you? What would I do with Sharp? Yeah, good, man. You know, like, if. It's like, if I say they good, they good. Because they're like, oh, he played the pro. So he said he was getting gas. Yes. I had guys that was my. The probably the best athlete. One of the best athletes that I went. His name was Frank Shepard. Me and Frank was like this here. He and I grew up. We went to the same church. You talking about a hell of an athlete. He could have played in the pros. He. He was every bit the athlete, if not better than what I was.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah, you see that? You see that coming up, too, bro. So, hey, hey, I don't see so many guys, bro, who I came up with, I'm talking about had talent at the wazoo. You hear me? But, man, when you don't got no structure of discipline with that, it's hard to make it, bro. Very hard to make it. Oh, it's hard to make it.
Joe
You know what, guys? What I used to do, I used to say all the time, man, if I made it, we from the same environment. I don't have any more than you have. You don't have any less than what I have. And I said, you know what? I stopped thinking like that. I said, because I had something that you didn't have. I had Mary Porter. See, why some of their moms and grandma let them do whatever they wanted to do. First of all, that never even crossed my mind when Papa was alive. And then when Granny. I think Granny got a little bit more stricter because she knew he wasn't going to be around. So stuff that she modeled slide if he was around Granny play that. And then knowing what she had done for, you know, took. Raised her nine and then took my mom's three. Yeah, I was used to, you know, suck the teeth here or there, you know, I got to get popped.
Uncle Ocho
Yeah. Yeah.
Joe
I ain't going to tell nobody I've been a model a bottle grandson. Good night. But, man. Damn, cj. But nightcap. Do us a favor, man. Send thoughts and prayers to CK, CJK, his family, CJ2K's family. I know he's going through it. I know he could use that. I know his family, friends and loved ones, they could use that. But do that. Yeah, I'm definitely going to make sure I said one earlier today, but I'm going to make sure before I lay my head down on that pillow tonight, I say another prayer for him and his family. Yeah.
