The spurs beat the Blazers 114 to 95 to close out this series in a gentleman. Sweet. The spurs first playoff wins in nine season. They take on the winner of the Nugget Timberwolves. They got up to this big lead. Portland would not go away. I think they cut it down to like nine, maybe 10 points. But that was as close as they could get as the spurs pull away and fashion and win by 19 points. Joe, what did you like about. What did you like about what you saw from the Spurs? Because they came with the game with a singular focus. They jumped on them right away and really didn't look back until late in the ballgame. They made that run, but the spurs and their head coach have to be very, very pleased with what he saw from his team tonight.

Yeah, I think they did what they were supposed to, Uncle Ocho. You know, considering the fact that, you know, they want to go and get this series over with, man, they. They played great on the road, was able to come. Was able to get two victories on the road, being down double figures on. On the road and being able to pull those games out. So you come back home 3 1. Man, you want to get these guys out the way to alleviate injuries and get you. Get you a little rest and prepare for the next series. So I thought it was great. I think they attack you in waves, bro. They like even to start the game. Basil started the game. Him and Chad Penny started the game. So hot. It's like, damn, if those go. If those guys get going, Uncle Ocho, you gonna have hell. Cause I don't know how you gonna turn off Wemby and Fox and Castle and Harper, you know what I mean? They just got so many guys who can attack, they play the right way, they're very unselfish. And they're all playmakers, bro. You got on the perimeter, you got three guys who can break the defense down at any point in time. Fox, Castle and Harper. You can't stay in front of them. They can go get theirs and they can create for the big fella and everybody else around them. I think they just have a complete team who is dangerous, not only offensively, but defensively. They bring it every night, bro. They bring it every night.

Joe, you said something very interesting that they do come at you in waves and a five point lead. And next thing you know, before the opposing team can call a timeout, you're down 14, man, it was just 5 and nice 14. And if you're not careful, that 14 goes to 21 and you gotta call another time. Man, I really enjoyed it. The thing about them in this series, even though it was a gentleman sweep, every time they played, each night they did play the Blazers, it was Always somebody different. If it wasn't Castle, it was Vasso. If it wasn't Vasso, it was Fox. If it wasn't Fox, it was Wimby. So what it reminds me of, and I'm gonna use football terminology for those that don't know, because I don't know the basketball game the way you guys do it reminds me of the goddamn greatest show on turf where you had to play the goddamn Rams, where every time they had a game, Joe boy, it was by committee. It was always somebody different. Either Oz Hakeem or Isaac Bruce or was Marshall Falk or hell, it was Torrey Holt. But either way, they got the job done every single time in a different way throughout the entire. I mean, throughout the season, obviously. I mean, where they played in the same way. It reminded me of that. I don a comparison in basketball term because I don't have a knowledge of the game the way you guys do. But I mean, I. I enjoyed it. I think the spurs are a legit contender to get to the finals. The only team I see with the type of. Type of depth, not only offensively, but having the bench to deal with them would probably be what's young young bull out of okc. That's about it. Especially a guy at the helm, running the point guard, making sure, you know, everybody's in the right spots. And then in them clutch moments in the fourth quarter, under six minutes, under five minutes. He's gonna deliver, bro. He's been doing it this whole series. Being clutch in the fourth quarter, making big shots, making big plays when needed. He ain't just scoring, he out there fighting defensively, too. I think that's the separator of the Spurs. Everybody defends, bro. It ain't. I know Wemby a hell of a. He a hell of a backdrop back there, but for the most part, them guys on the perimeter, they defending. But if you get by them, I don't know how you plan on scoring the ball.

Be able to knock down, be able to a roll to the basket and get a lob, get a layup, a defend, just a little bit. We don't expect you to be Wimby.

You give a starter, all those guys played at least 27 minutes to start a lineup. He got 17. So he's probably looking around like, damn, now what's gonna happen next year when Dame comes back?
