Joe
So it is said by. What's this guy's name, Tom? NFL Media. Pelissero. Yep. He said at some point the patience is going to run out. It's currently seems like, well, Aaron Rodgers decisions. It says Aaron Rodgers decision delay could cause Steelers to run out of patience. I don't believe it. NFL media Tom, whatever that dude name is, Pellicero. He said at some point patience is going to run out. It certainly seems like the patience for the Steelers fans, just based on feedback I get every time I talk about Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, because you keep talking about it may. I've already be running out for some people, for Art Rooney II, for Mike McCarthy, who's trying to get the team ready on the field, that patience, that patience may be tested. He said. I don't believe that has happened yet. If they don't have something in place by the start of next week, I think we get there, bruh.
Co-host/Commentator
Yeah.
Debo
You know what you're talking. Who.
Co-host/Commentator
Who is we?
Joe
You ain't. You ain't Art Rooney II or Mike McCarthy.
Co-host/Commentator
And last time I heard, you didn't
Joe
work for the Steelers, bro. Nope. First, the Steelers, they got three other quarterbacks over there in a room right now. Stuff. They ain't. They ain't just sitting there doing nothing. You make like if Aaron don't show, the Steelers are going to, you know, forfeit the season. It's over with. They're going to forfeit the season. It's over.
Co-host/Commentator
All y' all make like that. Y', all, y', all, y'.
Joe
All, y' all reporters and analysts and all that stuff. Y' all ain't got nothing else to do because, like, it's nothing, like, for y' all to talk about, I guess, other than Aaron. I guess that's the big thing. I mean, I wouldn't.
Co-host/Commentator
I would agree that maybe, like, some fans have run out of patience, but I would have to say that would
Joe
be like more of, like, our. Sorry to say this people, uneducated fans that are, like, out there and just can't, like, read the room and understand and just, you know, listening to what y' all write because y' all supposed to have some true knowledge of what's, you know, going on in the rally. And the reality is, like, the only people that's losing patience is all of your reporters and analysts that are trying to anticipate and predict Aaron Rodgers. What Aaron Rodgers is going to do. Like, what is Aaron's next. This is what Aaron's going to do.
Co-host/Commentator
And if he don't do it.
Joe
They're going to get pissed off. No,
Co-host/Commentator
they already stayed and that Tinder
Joe
was a training camp.
Co-host/Commentator
They said that man got all the way into a training camp. He got all the way into training camp. And I think that was on purpose. Why, why would that be on purpose, Joe?
Joe
Because you got these young quarterbacks. You got the young quarterback, you got Will Howard, you got Drew Allen. Now you can go ahead and you
Co-host/Commentator
can see what they look like.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
Yep.
Joe
Like what?
Co-host/Commentator
I mean, I don't, I don't know. Like tell I could be wrong. What do we know? It wasn't like we had like a
Joe
GM or something on the show that said, you know, maybe on Tuesday that it's. Oh, he said, quote, it's a great time of the year for young guys.
Co-host/Commentator
What? What?
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
What?
Co-host/Commentator
Joe, you say that? What does that mean, Joe? It's a great time. Oh, that's because that gives his young guys an opportunity to grow, develop, see
Joe
what they could do.
Co-host/Commentator
Hey, Tom Pelissel, why didn't you report that?
Joe
I don't know, because it didn't fit your demographic.
Co-host/Commentator
That's, I mean, like you had the words, you know, the actual. I believe it's.
Joe
It's Omar Khan, right? GM Omar Khan.
Co-host/Commentator
That's. That's who we talked to on Tuesday.
Joe
I'm just trying to make sure that's
Co-host/Commentator
who we talk to.
Debo
So we going through this for moving on. We're not going to listen to anybody else talking about Aaron Rodgers because it's all opinion based and we know right now nothing's going to happen. And until at least training camp. So until A Rod signs the contract, we know what it is. Right now we're doing everything they gotta do to work the young boys, they're getting all those reps and OTAS vets, same time they don't come. Sometimes they just don't come to OTAs. Like that's not mandatory when you know what's going on, you know, divide, you get there, you're gonna come in, you're gonna perform. Training camp legitimately is when it is OTAs for sure. I would want people to be there,000%. You want your guys, you wanna get growing. I A Rod's a different dude. He didn't do it last year. He didn't go. Probably doesn't go to OTAs all the time. He's. You talk about the knowledge of the playbook, he'll learn that playbook. He's seen all the playbooks, he knows all the routes, all the combinations. He's another coach on the field. So him being able to get into the feel of it is going to be a lot quicker than a rookie or a second year guy that doesn't know, doesn't know schemes, hasn't played in the NFL, doesn't know what's going on. So for him right now with the Steelers, keep doing what you're doing, developing our young dudes, trying to get them ready to play a rod. Hopefully he signs before training camp, he's on his own time. We know what it is. But when he gets out there, he's a pros pro. He's going to do nothing but trying to get right, get everybody together. So understand that. But the Steelers, they already, they know what it is. They know who they're dealing with. They're not the media just trying to, oh, what's going on? A rock. They're chilling, they got a plan. They're growing, developing their young dudes. They and the thought of a rod coming. But when he gets here, they know he's able to jump on and get moving quick. There's not no lot of L, but a we got, we know exactly what's going on. We know where it stands. We got to get the defense, we got to get these young quarterbacks, we got to make sure everybody knows what's going on on the team now. Because when a rod gets here, he's. It's not like we gonna pull a, a rod along. No, no, no, a rod's gonna be fine. He's gonna be.
Joe
Look here, you know, I like to think what up? And I've just been thinking that
Co-host/Commentator
what
Joe
if, you know, I'm just like I told you, my mind goes everywhere. What if Distillers are making a offer or made an offer to keep the communications together, keep it up and going. And that's in the process. Just to, you know, keep everything cordial. It's not a definite that they want him back or it's not a definite that they don't want him back. And maybe they're in the process of trying to see what they have at the quarterback position and to see if maybe they have what they, they need already and this is a safety net, so to speak, that they will use if it becomes necessary through the process, which is why they tendered him like they did because he couldn't go nowhere after the season started so he would have no one left but them to negotiate with. And now again, as I said before, I don't think Aaron plays for what the offer is. But if they get to a Situation where they're kind of unsure they can maybe sweeten the offer and then get him to come in and sign it sooner. That's just me thinking a lot, you know?
Co-host/Commentator
I don't know.
Joe
You know, I'm just. I'm just looking. I'm looking every direction. You know what I'm saying? Always looking every direction, y'.
Co-host/Commentator
All. What we gonna do, though? We're gonna go.
Joe
Going over here to this. This Browns, this brown schedule.
Debo
Yes, that's what we gonna do, so. Yes, sir.
Joe
Tell me about this round. Schedule. Week one, Joe.
Debo
Jacksonville, number one week of schedule in the league. Yes, I'm excited. What you got at Jackson? We spend our first two weeks.
Joe
Come on, Come on.
Co-host/Commentator
What you got? What you got? What you got? What you got?
Joe
What you got right there, Joe?
Debo
See, we got to see. Okay, I got us. I got us winning, beating Jacksonville.
Co-host/Commentator
You got y' all beating Jacksonville.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
Okay, Joe, first game of the season.
Joe
First one.
Co-host/Commentator
I want to write this down.
Joe
Damn. Okay, now what you got?
Debo
Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay. Okay, we may lose to Tampa Bay.
Joe
Okay.
Debo
Yeah, you know we may lose.
Joe
Okay, go ahead.
Debo
Okay, right there, we 101 Carolina Panthers. Okay, we're going to. We're. We're going to beat the Panthers.
Joe
Okay?
Debo
So right now. We are right now. Okay. Thursday Night Football versus the Steelers. This might. This going to be the one of Steelers. This might be. This is going to be a Steelers game right here. So we're two and two.
Joe
Okay. Okay.
Debo
Jets got him out the way.
Joe
You'll get just. I got you. Okay, I go with that. I go with that. I go with that. First one, we got Baltimore.
Debo
Baltimore at the crib. Baltimore at the crib. Week six, we got Baltimore.
Joe
Okay,
Pharmacist Amy Lynn Safety Valentine
wow.
Joe
Got Tennessee.
Co-host/Commentator
Next
Debo
Titans. Matter of fact. Matter of fact, I'm gonna go back. I'm gonna. I'm gonna take. I'm gonna take the. The Ravens now. We. We're gonna win that. We winning that. And we're gonna be. We're gonna beat the Titans, too. Five and two, Stillers, you beating.
Joe
You beating the Titans and. And you beating Baltimore and Tennessee.
Debo
Well, all right. Honestly, I. I. Yeah.
Joe
Okay.
Co-host/Commentator
Okay. I just. I'm just asking questions. I'm just. I'm just making sure. I'm gonna make sure I got this range, Joe. So we.
Intuit ERP Advertiser
We.
Co-host/Commentator
We. We over here right now on week eight. You back. You back with. You back in.
Joe
You back in Pittsburgh.
Debo
We split it because y' all won the first one.
Dr. Jake Goodman
Hi, I'm Dr. Jake Goodman, host of beyond the Script, the podcast where I sit down with pharmacists to answer the health questions you didn't even know you could ask at the pharmacy counter. In this episode, we are diving into gut health with CVS pharmacist Victoria Mottola, who explains why so many of us live with stomach issues we should not accept as normal.
Pharmacist Victoria Mottola
A lot of what I see is just like chronic bloating, chronic stomach aches. Like I get a stomachache every time that I eat and it just becomes like a lifestyle where, oh yeah, you know, I just have a stomachache every day or, or I'm constantly feeling like gassy. And all of those things are not something that generally if you have a healthy gut, you should be living with. So that's when we deep dive. We deep dive into your medication, we deep dive into your OTC medication and then at that point we can probably identify something that we can change.
Dr. Jake Goodman
Hear the full conversation, plus some fascinating facts about how gut health affects so much more than just your stomach on beyond the Script, a podcast from CVS Pharmacy and iHeartradio. Listen now wherever you get your podcasts.

Debo
So we won this.
Co-host/Commentator
You go, you go. You go. You go. Split it at our house.
Joe
That's crazy. Okay, go ahead. No, I'm gonna mark it down. I'm working on. This is. This is your stuff with your team. Anyway, go ahead. Tonight go to week nine New Orleans Joe.
Debo
Saints at. Matter of fact, Saints. No, the Saints. We gonna beat the Saints.
Joe
Okay. You gonna beat the Saints?
Debo
Lose to Houston.
Joe
Lose Houston. Okay.
Co-host/Commentator
You gotta buy a week then.
Debo
Yep. So what are we right now?
Joe
It don't matter what you are. Just keep going. You got Vegas next.
Debo
Be in Vegas.
Joe
You got Atlanta. No, sorry. You got Cincinnati.
Debo
Cincinnati. We probably. We might lose this one.
Joe
Okay, then you got Atlanta beating Atlanta,
Debo
beating New York, losing to the Ravens.
Joe
We're about to beat.
Debo
Beating the Colts. What look like right now?
Co-host/Commentator
I don't care. You got one game left.
Joe
Cincinnati at Cincinnati.
Debo
It's depending on what we need for the playoff position.
Co-host/Commentator
Well, if y' all need to win, y' all gonna win.
Debo
That sound like you. We might be resting. We might be resting, huh?
Co-host/Commentator
I got 11 wins already, Joe, you ain't gonna be able to rest because we gonna have 13.
Debo
That's 11. Okay, honestly. Honestly, when I'm just picking it out, going like that. I really like us at. That's a lot. 10, 10 wins. For real? 10 wins.
Home Depot Advertiser
For real.
Debo
Somehow one of those 10 wins.
Co-host/Commentator
Oh, you got 10 wins.
Debo
10 wins is not 10 wins. And 7 losses. That's not.
Co-host/Commentator
So 10 to 7.
Joe
That's your record. That's what you're going with?
Debo
10 and 7. Because I might have mixed up a little one. Like a little.
Joe
Yes.
Debo
Okay. You know, I mixed those up for sure. You know, I think the first one, y' all might. Y' all probably win tonight. The. You don't. I don't know we're gonna split. I just know we're gonna split. I just know we're gonna split it. I don't know how we gonna split it. We just.
Joe
I'm just trying to figure out.
Co-host/Commentator
They got y'.
Joe
All.
Co-host/Commentator
They got. They.
Joe
They said from this, the weakest schedule in the league, they got y' all at six or seven games.
Debo
Winning six or seven games. That's. That's. They. Listen, that's fine. We could. We should have won eight last. I got 10. We could have won eight last year. Flukishly missing stuff in the end zone. Just. That's part of.
Joe
That's part of what they. That's part of Browning.
Debo
But our way this time, you know, we got better offense, we got better offensive line. We got a whole nother year in. Our defense is still nice. Special teams. Now we're gonna put Casey Concepcion back there. Please do pump return and kick returns. Get the ball in his hands. Our special teams wasn't doing that well last year with our defense balling like this. And now.
Co-host/Commentator
Oh, your special teams were selling and
Joe
your defense was selling sometimes, too.
Debo
Sometimes. That's what I'm saying. The same thing you talking about. I'm glad if the best case scenarios with those players that we have on the Steelers, I mean on the Browns defense and the players that we have now on the Browns offense that has been subpar. Subpar. Like give us a real live team where we can actually go out there. Let's score 30 a game. Let's go. Let's go 30 in the game. Let's go 23. Let's just walk around walking there. Three touchdowns. Not too much to ask. Let's do that. And our defense holds it down. Special teams does what they got to do. Like our team. They look at the Browns crazy because last year special teams wasn't that good. But our defense is always on.
Co-host/Commentator
Not always.
Debo
Defense has been solid.
Co-host/Commentator
They've been solid. No question.
Joe
But you said always know they sold a couple times.
Co-host/Commentator
They sold a couple times where I thought I could. I could. I could buy.
Joe
And they sold on me.
Dr. Jake Goodman
Yeah.
Debo
Yes. But this year is when I'm talking best case scenarios. That's what I heard through you. We went Steelers went 8 and 0 off the rip. You got 13 and 3. Me having 10 and 7. I don't think it's crazy.
Joe
I'm just saying, Joe sounds crazy to me.
Debo
It's going to be dependent on these division games and how we pop off if we gonna get into the playoffs or not. Cause I'm like the Steelers, obviously, I'm not getting. Still is going to beat the Ravens, beat them up both times, beat up the Bengals both times, split it with the Browns. So y' all are automatically in. You know what I'm saying?
Joe
Oh, my goodness.
Co-host/Commentator
Oh, my.
Joe
I don't think you.
Debo
What's up?
Joe
You.
Debo
You who y' all not talking crazy?
Co-host/Commentator
So how many times y' all beating the Ravens and how many times y'
Debo
all beating the Bangles Listen, I'm not talking about that. We beat him before. That's all that matters. I don't have Joe.
Co-host/Commentator
Ain't we going through telling me what games you go win and lose? I think that's what we was doing. Ain't that what we doing? I'm lost if I'm. If I'm wrong.
Debo
Oh, I thought. I thought you was talking about.
Co-host/Commentator
I thought what I was asking.
Debo
I thought you was talking about. I thought you was talking about in the history.
Co-host/Commentator
I'm just asking where you see the wins at right now. I don't care about history. You got a new coach. I got a new coach. You got a new staff. We got a new staff. Yes, tell me.
Debo
And that's why I like.
Co-host/Commentator
Who you stomping on 10 to 7, 11 to 6. What we talking about, Joe? You stomping on somebody?
Debo
We. It's at Jacksonville. Does concern me to start off the season, they're not a bad team at all. They gonna be out there ready. So. So I want to see how we start.
Joe
Damn.
Co-host/Commentator
You going back through the whole schedule now, huh?
Debo
No, no, no. I'm just trying to. Cause I was trying to figure out where I thought we was going to get them, make sure. I wanted to know where we was going to get them. Exact wins and losses. Jacksonville. That one kind of scares me a little bit.
Co-host/Commentator
But you said the exacts, so that win ain't exact no more.
Debo
The exact win we gonna get for show.
Co-host/Commentator
What's the show?
Debo
I'm counting up the shows. Week three, Carolina for show. Week five, jets for show. Week seven, Tennessee for show. Week nine, New Orleans for sure. Bye. Week, win for sure.
Co-host/Commentator
Is that. That don't go on the list.
Debo
I know. I'm just saying we ain't playing. So we won. I count that as a duck versus the Raiders.
Co-host/Commentator
Dub.
Debo
Okay, that's week 12, Falcons. Dub. New York Giants. Week 15.
Co-host/Commentator
Dub.
Joe
I don't know that one, but. Okay.
Debo
How many is that?
Joe
That's seven right there.
Debo
That's seven. And then we got the Colts. And to finish the season, last game of the season is the Bengals. So what's that right there?
Joe
Damn. That's nine now.
Co-host/Commentator
That's nine for sure.
Debo
That's gt. That's nine for sure. That's nice.
Co-host/Commentator
Record this and make sure y' all bring this back, because that's nine for sures.
Debo
I'm gonna got you nine for sures.
Joe
Man, that's crazy. Wow.
Debo
And that's. That's. And that's just only with one division.
Co-host/Commentator
You count Books that ain't even there, huh?
Debo
I didn't say.
Co-host/Commentator
You know, sometimes you don't pay attention. Maybe you ain't paying attention to the table.
Joe
Look at the schedule again, Joe.
Debo
I look, I'm looking right at it. This the, the best part about it is, Debo. The best part about this is we actually get to come and talk about it after it happens, week by week.
Co-host/Commentator
Yes, sir.
Debo
You're gonna be able to sit there. Just that you talk. That I'm gonna be able to talk about too, and all that. Boy, that you like this. Hey, Joe. Yeah? How about you talking about them Jacksonville Jaguars, right? Yeah, I'm gonna be sitting right here taking it in the same way. The game's got to be played, Debo. Me and you ain't got no cleats.
Co-host/Commentator
This is true.
Joe
It's true. It's true, man. The game, the game.
Debo
All this right now. I'm speaking for somebody else. I'm speaking for somebody else to come out there and put. And put they. And put their foot. Well put. And do. Do what I'm trying to do for me. I'm talking for them and they got to go out there and I understand
Joe
what you're saying, but I hope, I hope they listen. I know they listening. I know they listening. The Raiders go stump the Browns,
Co-host/Commentator
you
Joe
know, they got a Crosby over there. You know he ain't go to Baltimore, right?
Debo
And I'm not disrespecting Cross. He's a. He's a dog, okay? He's a dog. He.
Joe
Oh, you saying the quarterback ain't and
Co-host/Commentator
go get it done.
Joe
I understand.
Debo
Oh, my God. We're gonna, we're gonna see, we're gonna see what the young man does.
Joe
You know what I'm saying?
Debo
We're gonna see what little, little Fernando go out there and do.
Joe
Wow. Little Fernando.
Debo
Young bull. He's a rookie. He's a young. He's a young bull. Drew Aller, Young Bull, you know.
Joe
Goodness, goodness, goodness. So we're gonna stay over here in Cleveland.
Debo
Yes, sir.
Joe
Man. Deion Sanders said his son Shador went through hell during a tribulate pre draft process and rookie season with the Browns. This man said when he takes off his shirt, I see the scars on his back, that he's been through hell, but he's made it through hell. A lot of things that was said, it bothered me, but it didn't bother him. I just wanted the opportunity to get on. He just wanted the opportunity to get on the grass and do his thing. Yes. Yo, I'm Misreading this.
Debo
What's up?
Joe
He takes off his shirt. I see the scars on his back.
Debo
I see the scars on his back. He's been through hell.
Joe
But he made it.
Debo
But he's made it through.
Joe
I don't. I don't know.
Debo
He's saying that people was talking trash about. He's not.
Co-host/Commentator
This is not a real thing.
Debo
It's not. It's not literal scars.
Co-host/Commentator
Oh, bruh. I'm like, what the hell are they doing?
Debo
Know my son Take off his.
Co-host/Commentator
Should I see the scars on your back, bro? That's like slave with a whip type words, bro.
Debo
He's.
Joe
Yeah, he's.
Debo
He's. Yeah, he's like, speaking. Yeah, yeah, but. But not. Not literally. Not literally, bro. I was about to.
Co-host/Commentator
I lose.
Debo
I know. For sure. For sure. Traffic. No.
Co-host/Commentator
You thought they was laughing. No, sir.
Debo
Oh, he. The D.A. been pulled up.
Co-host/Commentator
Come on, Deo.
Debo
Okay. What? That whole spot would have been. Come on, Debo, right? They ain't really smacking. Oh, my gosh.
Co-host/Commentator
Come on. That's a little much. That's a little. I don't know, Prime. That's a little much, bro. That's a little much. We gotta. We gotta reword that. Oh, you know,
Debo
they talking. They talking about it.
Co-host/Commentator
I understand that, bro, but I ain't. I ain't never seen somebody put some scars on my son. I had scars on my back, bro. Real life scars in a fight, like, with four, five people, bro.
Joe
Yeah, that's.
Co-host/Commentator
That's a real thing.
Debo
Yeah. They tried to jump up on you. No, no, no.

Hi, I'm Dr. Jake Goodman, and I'm the host of beyond the Script, a podcast where I sit down with pharmacists to answer all those health questions that you forget or maybe are too embarrassed to ask when you're at the pharmacy counter. In this episode, all about women's health, Amy Lynn Safety Valentine, a CVS pharmacist from Long Island, New York, talked about just how often women approach pharmacists with questions about menopause symptoms.
Pharmacist Amy Lynn Safety Valentine
When it comes to patients that are really suffering with. With the symptoms of perimenopause or menopause, it's really important for them to be evaluated by their ob gyn because there are a lot of prescription medications that can help with that. If someone is really opposed to taking medications, there are a few lifestyle modifications that they can do, like avoiding caffeine and spicy, trying to stay hydrated, have a regular sleep cycle, get some exercise. Those are all things that could kind of help to limit the symptoms.
Dr. Jake Goodman

Ha. 100%.
Debo
Oh yes.
Co-host/Commentator
Yes, bruh. Like that's real.
Debo
Okay, okay, Trust me, I feel you. But I'm letting you know he was speaking in between the lines. Okay, I got you.
Co-host/Commentator
I got you, bro.
Joe
I was trying to figure that one
Co-host/Commentator
out for a minute. I ain't gonna lie.
Debo
Yeah, no, you good.
Joe
I'm like brother, hey man, we might have to go do something. We might going over there bro.
Co-host/Commentator
Like we might.
Joe
Yeah, I might have to go ahead and see what Stefanski was talking about, man.
Co-host/Commentator
Like like nine days bro. I know. Listen, no, you can't say that, bro. Not. You know what I'm saying? That. That create a whole different thought in your head, bro.
Debo
Yeah. See? Yeah.
Intuit ERP Advertiser
You.
Joe
Yep, yep, yep.
Debo
He wasn't. He wasn't there. Oh, shucks, man.
Co-host/Commentator
Said he plans to travel to Cleveland
Joe
to meet Monkin, meet Monkey.
Co-host/Commentator
He said I want to meet him
Joe
because I think it's vital as a coach not.
Co-host/Commentator
Not the dad. I can tell you a few things
Joe
about Shador, how to get him going that I wasn't. That wasn't asked of me a year ago. I understand it. Even a guy like Travis Hunter being drafted to Jacksonville and I've had him for the last three years. Do you think you would want to talk to me to ask me what gets him going and what backs him off? You would want to know that. So I anticipate and I can't wait to have the conversation with Coach Monkin. Joe, do you think that is a good idea?
Debo
Yeah, I mean, I don't think it would hurt. I think if the same way when you would go through the draft process, Deion is actually just not his father. He was his coach. So when you want to talk, not like how would you treat your son? That's a whole different hat that he puts on. When you talk about coaching styles when you get drafted, they do their homework on their coaches. They ask them questions, ask them how they learn what. What kind of rubs in the wrong way the way that they know about their draft picks. They go deep, deep. They ask teachers. You ask people that they knew back in high school. So it would not be crazy to access head coach, but it happens to be his dad. So some people might be a little scared of Dion. They don't want to talk to him. No. That's your door's dad same time as his coach. So if he wants to put that hat on, go ask him. Boom. Like what things did. How did Shador do? Like just certain coaching questions that he would ask another coach if Shadow was coached by somebody else. I think that's not a bad idea. So just I think coach Tom Monk and being comfortable in his own skin, not being afraid of coach prime and be able to ask him something that I think is not a bad question. It's something that other coaches that they would have probably asked those same questions about the learning techniques. What come. Like, what rubs in the wrong way? What rubs in the right way? What?
Co-host/Commentator
Yeah, I think that would be something
Joe
that would have been already asked to be honest with you. Because that's just natural process when you're, you know, when you're looking at selecting a player or trying to get a no player. You ask the people who have been around them the most, who. It's. Who have coached them the most, who have an understanding and idea of, you know, what it is that, you know, motivates them. You know, what. What. What doesn't motivate them, like you said, what will shut them down, what will build them up?
Co-host/Commentator
You got.
Joe
You got to understand that and know that process, because everybody's not motivated the same way. Yep. You know, and with him, me and his dad and his coach is. Is very. It's very advantageous for them to, you know, to talk to him, I would think. Honestly. So. I mean. Yeah, that's like. I think if a guy was coaching,
Co-host/Commentator
you know, dude, coaching my son. Hell. Hey, James. Hey, man, tell me what. Listen, hell, I'm open book, man. All you gotta do is ask me a thousand percent.
Debo
Hey, and this. It's not. And it's not. I would think that they were asked about Dylan Gabriel's coaches back in the day, too, but you just won't hear about it because Dion's is Deion Sanders, so.
Co-host/Commentator
Well, see, they trying to be so much on. Oh, it's prime.
Joe
Is this. Yeah. You know, he feels like he needs to be taught. No, bruh. That's just the process of what it goes through.
Co-host/Commentator
I'm his coach and his dad. You can't get through the process that I'm his dad to realize that I'm his coach and I have everything that you need. Plus, yeah. Everything that he done grew up through and been and how I done raised him, like.
Debo
Like.
Co-host/Commentator
What is he talking about?
Debo
I'm with it. I'm with it.
Co-host/Commentator
First call.
Joe
Hey, Brian.
Co-host/Commentator
Hey. Tell me about your son.
Debo
Easy.
Joe
No question.
Debo
Some people don't have. I feel they don't feel as comfortable in their own skin, though. They feel like. Nah.
Joe
Yeah, yeah, I understand. Here, get the.
Debo
Asking us some. He gonna feel like he gotta. No, no, no, no. But no. Ask for knowledge, ask for information. You don't have to use everything, but you know what I'm saying? It's always good to ask around. Don't feel like you're the smartest person. It's always smooth.
Co-host/Commentator
No question, bro.
Joe
I ain't never trying to be the smartest person in the room, baby.
Co-host/Commentator
I mean, I'm. Hey, I'm the smartest person in the room.
Joe
I can't do no growth in there, Joe. I can't grow.
Debo
No.
Co-host/Commentator
I'm stag. I gotta get it. I gotta get these people out of here, man. I gotta get some more people.
Debo
You got to find a different room.
Co-host/Commentator
I gotta get some more people in here, man.
Joe
Or I got.
Co-host/Commentator
Like you said, I gotta go to a different room.
Joe
Something gotta happen.
Co-host/Commentator
They gotta go. I gotta go.
Joe
Yep, that's it, bruh. We have what up super chats.
Co-host/Commentator
It's all.
Joe
Dude, it's almost 12:30. We got super chats right here.
Co-host/Commentator
Got two super chats. What up?
Debo
What up?
Joe
Let's do this. 12:30, bro. We have pit fan 898-595-SAID.
Co-host/Commentator

Joe

Co-host/Commentator
Still a football.
Joe
It's time to get back to telling our opponents that even if you beat us, you will remember our names.
Co-host/Commentator
Not only will you remember our names, but you will remember this pain. You will feel it. It ain't nothing that you gonna have to remember because you go wake up with it. You go wake up so that you can't.
Debo
You.
Joe
Damn.
Co-host/Commentator
Is this game really for.
Joe
Do I really want to be here playing the Sters three times a week?
Co-host/Commentator
No, don't send me to Cincinnati. Don't send me to Baltimore or Cleveland. The Steelers are over there.
Debo
Yeah. No, you gotta have full blown crash outs ready. You got to. You have to.
Joe
For the show. For sure.
Co-host/Commentator
Company live now. Even though you can't come live back.
Debo
Go ahead, cover it.
Joe
She said Debo and Joe. With three A's. With three AFC teams like the Steelers. With three AFC teams like the Steelers getting new coaches, can we predict exact wins? I do believe the Browns will be better thanks to their draft picks, but I'm still cautious. Listen, you can predict
Co-host/Commentator
whatever you want. The question is, can you be right?
Joe
Yep.
Debo
Now everything Joe.
Joe
Because he said 10 or nine, so we know Joe's wrong.
Co-host/Commentator
Yeah, I didn't know I'm right.
Debo
I'm saying you said 13 and three.
Co-host/Commentator
Listen. I'm saying 13 and four worst.
Joe
16 and two best.
Debo
13 and four.
Co-host/Commentator
Six. Sorry. 16 and one best.
Debo
16 and one best. Okay. And I'm going to. Let's see. Eight and worst case scenario, we are eight and nine. And best case scenario, we are Tennessee.
Co-host/Commentator
Hey. Damn, Joe. You told me. Hold up. Joe. You just dropped to 8 because you told me.
Debo
I said worst case. 8 and 7. Best case. Best case. Cause you look, you. You gave yourself three. Three. Three game. Three game wiggle room. So let me give myself three game wiggle room. Eight. Eight. Eight for the least amount of wins and 11 for the most amount of wins.
Joe
Bruh. Bruh.
Co-host/Commentator
What, bro? We talking about 13 and 16.
Joe
Bruh, you talking about.
Debo
You let. Okay, you go ahead, Go ahead, laugh. Go ahead.
Co-host/Commentator
That's all good.
Debo
But look, I'm being honest about mines. When you come in. If we come in here and y' all and. And the Steelers, because you look at. Because you keep looking. Because you keep talking about my brown.
Co-host/Commentator
My brown. There you go, There you go. Chat when I'm going against you.
Joe
Yeah.
Debo
This man. Debo, I'm telling you, we knew what
Joe
you was when you first drove in.
Debo
It's going this year. This year, this year. Year two of the show is going to be so much fun because I know. I know what I know. I know how to get to you now. I know how to get to.
Joe
This is a shame, bro. I swear, man.
Co-host/Commentator
Listen, bro, I know how to get to you too. I know what you mean. I know. How about that cash me outside. How about. Hey, chill out, bruh. Chill out. My good man coming to life. She's back again, man. She said 20. She said, I don't think Dion needs
Joe
to go on his son's job to talk to his boss. At what point do we realize our children or at what points do we release our children to be grown? You can still coach and father your son at the dinner table, stay off his job. It's a little different right there, but
Debo
that's what I'm saying. They got to still look at Dion.
Co-host/Commentator
I understand what she's saying. Like, he has to grow and he has to figure out all this other stuff. Like. But you're talking about somebody that played the position the best that it has ever been played. And he coached his son from knee high to grasshopper all the way up until college. Hall of Famer. He has understanding. He sees and knows what's going on
Joe
because he still does it and coaches
Co-host/Commentator
it and all that. I'm going to go and get in his ear and say, hey, let me know.
Joe
Let give me some insight on this
Co-host/Commentator
because I want him to be able to be as successful as you like, like you're talking about. Listen, man, he got. He got a. He got a daddy and a coach and they co. Mingle. And the same way you are able to coach someone dude and father someone, man. And you're like, it's guys that look at coaches as father figures because of that.
Debo
Because they just coaching you and they know, you know, they care like, you know, they want.
Co-host/Commentator
I got dad. That is the coach. Like, what are we like hall of Famer at that? I'm going to listen. I'm a Benjamin ear, bro. He might be mad at me because I'm a calling like, hey, Shador gave me a little attitude today because I said, hey, what I need to do to get in his ass?
Debo
Hey.
Co-host/Commentator
He would hate me. Hey.
Debo
Your dad said no, listen, listen.
Co-host/Commentator
I tell my kids, I tell my kids teachers, I give them this, I give them the cell phone, I say
Joe
hey, before anything become a problem, he come in here, he ain't paying no
Co-host/Commentator
attention, he want to lay his head on the table, whatever that may be, I don't care before it even become an issue. If he come in and he really ain't ain't participating like you think he should be before it even get to the point of now he laying down in class. Now you don't call me he. He, you know, he come in class, he don't participate.
Joe
You know, he sleeps half the time.
Co-host/Commentator
Did not tell your ass to call me the first time.
Debo
First time.
Co-host/Commentator
Didn't I tell you call me the first time. I could have nipped this in the
Debo
it had been done.
Co-host/Commentator
It only been one now I'm finding out later. So now I'm mad at you.

But I'm hi, I'm Dr. Jake Goodman and I'm the host of beyond the Script, a podcast where I sit down with pharmacists to answer all those health questions that you forget or maybe are too embarrassed to ask when you're at the pharmacy counter. In this episode all about pediatric health, Heidi Martinez, a CVS pharmacist from Edinburgh, Texas, talked about how parents can help manage their kids fever.
Pharmacist Heidi Martinez
When it comes to fevers, it would just depend on the child's behavior as well as the number that the thermometer is kicking back. If the child is behaving normally and they're not having any obstruction to their lifestyle that they usually lead, then maybe a fever reducer might not be necessary. If you see that later on in the day it progresses to mom, dad, I'm not feeling well, I need to lay down. And you know that's not normal for your child. Then it might be time to give them a medication for a fever.

Yeah. Now they running over. You scared of one.
Co-host/Commentator
You scared of one little. Doing this because I want to do it. I'm doing this because I have to do it.
Joe
It's called discipline, and kids need discipline.
Co-host/Commentator
I'm raising two boys that need to become men. I am not about to allow them to do anything that is out of character. Especially when you growing up with everything that I wished I had when I growed up as a kid. And now you don't want or need for anything. Come on.
Debo
Come on.
Co-host/Commentator
And you're privileged at that.
Debo
I'm sitting here.
Co-host/Commentator
I choke you out.
Debo
I'm sitting here like this right now, listening to you, because I'm raising two boys, and you're trying to raise them to be men. And they are consequences for your actions. The world out here does not love you. They do not love you. They will not take care of you. They don't care. They want you to fail. So when you do stuff wrong, you're never just gonna walk around my house. And you would never get popped upside the head if you didn't deserve to get popped upside the head. There's.
Co-host/Commentator
There's.
Debo
There's actions. There's repercussions for actions. Everything you just spoke on was how my dad raised me. You never just doing nothing. You're never just gonna get walking my head. Oh, what's up? No, you did something stupid. You did something that you needed to be disciplined for. And guess what? You won't do that one again. Cause, you know, like, Pops ain't just. He's not doing stuff for no reason. Dad's out here trying to raise me. World don't love me. I see.
Co-host/Commentator
Yes.
Debo
Running around crazy stuff. He said, you see that kid right there? I said, yes. He needs to be smacked inside his tail. Like, just because I'm like, that's just. Shut up, Mom.
Co-host/Commentator
Whoa.
Debo
Like, just. Just any of that. There's no. There's no type of time for that. So, you know, just. Everybody is raising their kids, and everybody got somebody that's going on and stuff. But when you say what you just said, Deebo, I am on the same accord. I'm raising two young gentlemen, and I gotta make sure there's the law, there's A law.
Joe
Listen, it's easier for me to teach you now so that somebody else out there don't teach you the hard way. And now you end up being in jail or somebody takes your life because you don't realize there's repercussions and consequences to your actions. Yes, I'm a discipline mind now. Discipline now. And. And.
Co-host/Commentator
And even now, dude, I'm like, yo,

Debo

Joe
Who is the Falcons quarterback against the Steelers? Protocol on deck. Get the blue temp ready.
Debo
What you think?
Joe
Listen, my thing is this. Your daughter is an engineer covering life and his son as a football player. Two totally different careers. I don't know how much motivation I
Co-host/Commentator
need to do for an engineer. That's why people don't tune in to watch somebody engineer. That's why it's not multi billion dollar organizations, corporations, TV industries to watch somebody engineer.
Joe
It is to watch somebody play football.
Co-host/Commentator
I'm not saying her job is, is,
Joe
is less than I'm just telling you as far as it is to the
Co-host/Commentator
people that want to pay to watch is.
Joe
I wish my sons was an engineer.
Co-host/Commentator
I wish they would do great things like that. I would love for all that to be be the case. But when it comes down to it, a coach that coaches motivates, you have to motivate players. I don't care what you, what you do. If you can't motivate your players, you can't get them to get to their potential, then you have a problem. And then when you're a great coach, you get them to play above their potential. I had great coaches. Dick LeBeau, great coach. Keith Butler, great coach. James Harrison was supposed to be a perennial special teams player all his life. Never start. Never start. I ended up being a starter. I ended up being a pro Bowler AR Pro defensive player of the year because I was coached beyond my potential by great coaches. You don't get somebody that's gonna coach you so great that you just go be a, a better, you know, was engineer. How do you motivate? It's not two different fields.
Debo
I just want people to start looking at the Deion and Shador situation not so negatively and more positive. Like, if it's Archie Manning and somebody hits up Peyton Manning.
Co-host/Commentator
Come on, man, you know it. Now stop playing. Good thing.
Debo
That's a good thing.
Joe
You know what it is?
Co-host/Commentator
Manning, stop playing.
Joe
You know what it is?
Co-host/Commentator
Stop.
Debo
Oh, you got.
Co-host/Commentator
You got Peyton Manning, Eli.
Debo
I'm like, you got Deion with his son. You know what I'm saying? He's asking a real coach. You know what I'm saying? It's just a Deion thing. Got people like. I'm like, man, that's a coach, though. It's still Deion the coach. If anybody else was the coach, then it's not as. It's not as bad as people try to make it seem sometimes. So, I mean, he doesn't need to be there. I could feel what some people like Shador just wanting to bring more 10. Like, does he need his dad there to, like, always, like, hold his hand? I'm like, he doesn't need his dad there. His dad's trying to stay out the way. Like, Shador wants to do it on his own accord. You know what I'm saying? It's like, it's not. I just try to not make it as a, like, chador needs. Does his dad need his dad coming off there and rubbing his, like, making sure everything is on it? I'm like, no, he doesn't need it, but that's his dad. He loves his son. He wants him to be successful.
Co-host/Commentator
All he was saying is like, yo,
Joe
you want to have some insight, holler at me. That's it, bruh. That's it.
Co-host/Commentator
It's not. It's not. It's not like he's saying, hey, man, you need to talk to me because you don't know how to do this or do that. Da, da, da. No, listen, man, you want a little insight? You didn't draft him. The dude before drafted him, okay? You go through that draft process, you're supposed to be talking to the people and doing all that other stuff, and then, you know, Barry is still there. Of course, I would assume that he had those conversations with Dion. I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, but with Todd Monkey being the head coach, Barry is not going to
Joe
be the person there coaching him every day.
Co-host/Commentator
It's going to be Monkey, okay? He's going to be there motivating, doing whatever it is. How that process is that you build your players.
Joe
So why not, like, why not get a little insight?
Co-host/Commentator
What are we talking about?
Joe
Yep.
Co-host/Commentator
