and ways to save sources with the Eagles organization. Believe Jalen Hurts is not the most coachable, says Jeremy Fowler. Yo, keynotes they talking about? Well, the one big one is the Four verts of the Eagles last game in the playoff game. What was that? See, Hertz was the person who called the four verticals on the Eagles last play. 20, 26 playoff, not Kevin Putulo. Now I know what you're talking about. They talking about the game with San Francisco. It was like 43 seconds left. They ran four verse reading. Didn't sound like he called it. It sounded like they act well reading article. They said they asked him, he gave a suggestion and the Eagles went with his suggestion. That's a big difference between him just saying, hey, this is what I'm running. Let's go. And why wouldn't you ask your quarterback, you know what he would suggest. He's the one that's going to be throwing the ball. He has to be the most comfortable person with the play, I would think. And I don't see that being an issue. But as a head coach, offensive coordinator, y' all need to do what y' all think is best for the team. The that play, whatever. Obviously everybody thought that they were in agreeance of that because that was the play they ran. But you know, you just ran that play. I think it was the play right before it. It just ran the same play. So to double back on it, I don't think it was a good idea. Because if it was open, the first thing we go do as defenders, especially if it wasn't covered well, is we're going to be like, hey, if they do that again, we got to cover, you know, X, Y and Z. So to come back the next play and do that, that's just crazy to me. But that wasn't, you know, the only thing that they stated. They also went with. They said they wanted. He wanted to avoid under center play. Reluctant to let it rip at times, particularly against own coverages, push back on changes that would diversify the scheme. Poor body language not always brought in, bought in, diverts from the game plan and changes play calls to an excessive degree. I mean, and not the most coachable. And his teammates notice. Like I don't, I don't know, you giving him that option to. If you're giving him that option to make play calls and change play calls, then you have to be comfortable enough with his decision making in that process. When you look at, you know, guys like, you know, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, hell, Ben, Ben even does it. I mean, you know, you look at guys, quarterbacks that were able to do that and go out there and, and convert and change the plays. You know, Aaron prime example last year, he's he's the reason why we were able to get as far as we did, because it. It damn sure wouldn't have been a. A 500 season if we didn't have him. So I think I need. This is where I need like, like the source. I need. I. I need a name attached to it, but, you know, so I could give it or take away credibility from what. What is being saying. And then again, they can't because they're still with the team. They work there. They don't want to have to deal with. No, no lash back from it. Where there's smoke, it's usually. Usually a little bit of fire, you know, with every lie, it's a little bit of truth. You know what I'm saying? But again, you know what kills all this? Winning kills all this. You ain't hear nothing about this until just this year. After. Then I had a couple. Couple down seasons, and now all of a sudden, the man ain't coachable. He. He can't make this throw. He changed this. He do that. Like, where was all this at before this happened? If you was winning, getting the Super Bowls and all that in the playoffs, in the super bowl, win the super bowl, where was it at? Tell me about that then. Tell me when. Tell me when it's going good, what's going bad through the organization and y' all still doing great that you gotta fix how much better you could be then.
Liberty Mutual Announcer
Let's get that.
Joe
How much better could you be then? If you win the Super Bowls and you still got so much going on back here, if you change all that instead of it just being one now, it could be two in a row. Maybe it could be three in a row. Like, you fix all the back end even though you winning on the front. See, don't nobody want to fix nothing to the records and the. In. The whole, you know, thing starts to change. Like, hey, I'm just. I'm just, you know, spitballing off my head. That's what I do. But if I have something that's working good, why wouldn't I want it to work great? I have something that's working great. Why wouldn't I want it to work excellent? The whole goal is perfection. Even though we'll never get to the perfection part, the goal is perfection. Coach LeBeau would tell us, hey, baby, we always strive for perfection. You know what I'm saying? We ain't gonna never get there. We know that. But the goal is to go and try and attain it day in, day in, day out, week in week out and hopefully at some point we could put up the perfect. The perfect defense. Y' all want to hear what the perfect defense chat. Y' all want to hear with the perfect defense, and you want to hear the numbers of the perfect defense. I know y' all want to hear the numbers of the perfect defense. The numbers of the perfect defense is this. Zero yards rushing, zero yards passing, 350 something sacks. The defense don't give up nothing. It's impossible. Perfection is impossible, but you still shoot for it. You don't give up no points. You don't give up no yards. You'll do none of that. As a matter of fact, speaking of Coach Le Bow, I might have a surprise for y' all on Monday. Monday. I may have a surprise for y' all on Monday. I'm just saying it might be, you know, just make sure you hear from Monday, you know what I'm saying? Tell everybody you know, tell your friends, tell your mama here, your papa, everybody here listen. The great, the great Dick Lebo, Dakota's deep fencing coordinator, the inventor of the Real Fire Zone, True Life eob, here on Monday talking and conversating. Matter of fact, if y' all got something y' all want to ask, you know, get it in the chat. He only go be here for one show. Might want to put it in today to make sure it get in there because you know how I get going. Okay, Hookah. Nakua has checked himself into a private facility his attorney confirmed to focus on health, personal growth and overall development. Puka Chucks this. Checked into the facility on his own and will remain there until he completes a program ahead of the Rams OTAs that start in a few weeks. Chat. What y' all think about this? What was it? So last month he allegedly had a. What they call a unprovoked anti Semitic statement on New Year's and I guess bitter allegedly on her shoulder, which he denied. I believe another incident was in December or he was on a live stream and it was another statement of whatever it was, but he ended up apologizing for that. So it was in the same nature of the alleged statement from last month. He apologized for it. That was a live stream, I guess, from December. It was also reported that he had already checked in a substantial. A substantial time before the allegations that are currently out were public. So I think that's a good thing. He's trying to take accountability, improve himself. He's young and it said that, you know, he likes to have fun, drink a little bit, and y' all know how that go. That messes with your judgment, you know? So I'm hoping, you know, everything comes out for the best for him. But again, y' all know I said I. I know me. I look at it from both sides, you know? And you know, you also have to be thinking that maybe he got wind of it.

Lori Siegel
We're experiencing one of the greatest tech accelerations in human history. And let's be honest, that can be messy.
Lily Herman
There's no playbook for what to do when an AI model hallucinates a story about you.

But it's my belief that we should all benefit from this moment. Mostly Human will show you how. My goal is to give you the playbook so you can benefit.

Experts are suggesting that UCLA is the number one challenger to UConn, and that right after that would be Texas. SEC is so. Is so deep and so thick in just about everything. It really is annoying. So it's ucla, Texas, South Carolina, lsu, only ones that could possibly upset on flagrant and Funny.

It's it's a contract. You know, it's coming up. And before, you know, this goes public, because you already know it could affect the deal. He needs to get ahead of this and try and do some damage control and show that he's trying to better himself, you know, to, you know, lessen the blow and get out of it. And as, you know, the saying goes. What is it saying? A drunk mind speaks a sober heart. I don't know. I mean, I hope personally that, you know, he's there to better himself. He saw the era of his ways and, you know, all that. And I'm wishing the best for him, you know, but only time will tell if. If that's the case or not. Wish the best for all players, especially in growth. You know, if you was to look at me back when I was. What is he, 24, 25. Oh. Oh, man, I got so lucky. Wasn't no social media back then. A lot of us did. Like, you know, now you say something that 17, 18, 16 years old, they come back 10, 20 years later. You said this when you were. Yeah, you know, it's. Tell my kids this. Listen, don't say nothing that you don't want to be judgeful or that you won't stand behind 100. Don't put it out nowhere because this stuff don't go away no more, baby. It don't go away. You can't. You can't have something be said like you can't have it. Like, you. It's hard, though, you know, Especially when you're young, like you spitting vinegar and you really think you know everything. You don't know. You don't know nothing. You know, you might have some people listening to you, and like, now all of a sudden, you. When they start listening, you get, oh, yeah, I'm right. Nah, it's a lot of stupid people out there, and you may be one of the stupid people that's agreeing with stupid people. That's all. I don't. I don't understand, you know, and then you added to the fact that, hey, you might have some paper, which you might have some money with you, so now you got. You might have a whole bunch of yes men behind you. You know what I'm saying? Hey, yeah, you right, dog. Yep, you right. Maybe they just there to see if they can get something from you, and then it may. It may not even be getting something from you. It's just being around you, having, you know, having access to you. You know what I'm saying? I don't. You know, I don't know. I do know, or I can assume I should say, but you gotta, you know, you gotta keep an eye on all that, you know, you don't, you don't wanna, you don't want to be on the Internet, you know, out here like, looking like Tiger woods, man. Like, check this out. Put it up, put up. Where is it? We got this. We got this right here. Listen, man, come on, like, Tiger going to get some help too. He needs it. He unders. I don't know if he understands fully, but like, listen, go, go, go to the. Go to the next one. My dude is in that. Is he yawning or is he screaming? I can't tell, bruh. I need you on here like this golf thing and Tiger Wood. But this one right here, that's the coldest chat. That's the code is right there. Where you all. Any Dallas fans in here, man? Where them Dallas fans at? They got. You got any Dallas fans in there? Is this, this is a true, false statement. Please tell me Tiger woods has as many DUIs and car crashes, has as many DUI and car crashes than the Dallas Cowboys have playoff wins in the last three decades. Hey, the last three decades. That's crazy. That's crazy. We them boys, though, that would. They say. They say we them boys. I can't, I can't tell. I can't tell you them boys, but I think the best one is the next one, yo. Still better at finishing drives than the Cleveland Browns. This. Hey, this is facts, people. This is facts. Hey, he still. Sideways. Still better. You can't, you can't knock it. It's a true statement. You can't deny none of this, man. I ain't, I'm just a messenger. I didn't make these up. I did not make these up. I'm just, I'm just showing what's out there. I'm. I'm reporting, reporting the news, so to speak. You know, like. And see, this is why I really needed Joe here. He would, he would have a greater appreciation or hate, dislike, maybe a rebuttal, maybe some discussion, you know, like, like, your boy needs a driver. That's all. That's all this to it, you know, I don't understand. Like, I think he's a little concerned about privacy issues and all that other stuff and blah, blah, blah. But, man, have them sign a. A NDA of some sort or get you a car, bro, that got a whole sealed off area. They can't hear or see nothing unless you call them. Like, they can't do Nothing back there. Like it don't matter or like, I don't know, it gotta be some way, shape or form, and you ain't got to worry about nothing no more. Is Tiger even married anymore? He ain't married, man. You could do what you want to do. Like he got a girlfriend or something? Maybe. I don't know. Let's go to this next one, man. See, Joe, this is where I need you, man. Your boys just. Your boy just teed off without me. Yo, Joe, this is what you said, is what you said. Hey, yo, just tee off without me. I'll meet you. I'll meet you at the fourth hole. Nope, not this time, baby. Why? Why it look like my boy hiding in the bushes like ain't nobody. He peeking out like, did anybody see me flip this whip? Like, Come on, man. You know they're not saying you flip that whip. He trying to call somebody to come get him before. Before anybody else. No, it's over with, bro. Yo, you got it. What is that, a Rover? They didn't call. They didn't call the medical emergency already. As soon as the car went sideways on Star, maybe even your phone then called him, too, like, you. You like. Like. I. I don't even know, bro. Like, I know you limited on your privacy and. And all that, but, you know, one car, two car. Didn't you. Oh, no, that was. That was his. That was. His wife went. Put that club on it. I was thinking of something else. Yeah, look here, man. This was me. This is me, man. When your mom. When you ask your mom From. When you ask your mom to go to McDonald's and she says it's food at home, that was me. That was. That was when I like to go to McDonald's, Bruh. I couldn't even say nothing. I'd have to look straight ahead, too, because, you know, if you eyeball, you go get popped. No, you eyeball, you go get pop. Don't, don't, don't. Don't get no size. No what you say? Don't do none of that. You looking. You looking for trouble. Damn, Joe. It's a shame, man. Like, Tiger, you. And what is the second, Third. Second. Third time he's in for your hat? I don't know. Hey, I'm. I'm a. Yeah, I'm a hope and pray that, you know, he's able to figure out what he need to do, how he can get back to where he needs to be to be able to. I know the initial cause was, you know, the surgeries and all that and pain management and all that and getting, Getting the wrong people around you. That's allowing certain things and then, you know, them allowing it in the process, you know, possibly trying to keep where they're at. I could have swore he just did a. A thing where he said he wasn't taking no more of anything. He was using some. Was it CBD or some type of treatment or something? Am I right? I don't remember. Maybe it was. Oh, no. Hey, game. So Floyd Mayweather is accused of taking advance payment from many Pacquiao rematch. Pacquiao's camp says Mayweather took upfront money, signed for a pro fight, and is now trying to change the terms. I don't know what's going on with, with Floyd, but something going on, man. It's too much smoke going on around there. Like, this is the same cat that, I guess he. He spends like crazy extravagant amounts of money. Like he only wears shoes. They say like one time, and then he, you know, he gets rid of them. Buying three and four of the same watch, just different color or something different. Like spending millions of dollars. Like how you don't wear your clothes and shoes more than one time. That'll make no sense. Like you got to run out of money and you spending big money for stuff. It's like, it's no way that you can keep that up and not be bringing in like hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars of hell a month probably. How many cars this dude got? What, two and three of the same car? Like four or five, 600? He got a million dollar cars. Like, what's the. What's the one car that he got that's like four or five, $6 million or something? Don't got like two of them or something. And he ain't getting rid of nothing. Or he just giving it away. Who knows, man, you ain't wearing shoes but one time. You ain't wearing clothes for one time. They say this man got five Bugattis. He got 16 world Royces. Okay, 33 Mercedes. From the same dealership, bruh. All that from the same dealership? How in the world. And probably paying cash for it straight off the lot. I might need to go to car dealership where he. I can't afford that. Car dealership. Joe, this is something. This is something I ain't gonna say Joe would do, but this is like, you know, just something Joe wouldn't even. He wouldn't even blink at. Oh, you got. Oh, you got five Bugattis. That ain't nothing, bro. You gotta you know it which color you. And you don't know if you want to dry the same color every day. You know he just bought a 4.8 million dollar car with a body that shimmers like the 4.8 million for a car. What are we doing? 4.8 million dollars for a car. And they talking about back taxes and everything else. You taking advancements, Bro. You spending. I don't even know. I need an advance on something. Give me. I don't. 4.8 million. You don't need no advancement. You got a 4.8 million dollar car, bro. Sell all that. Sell it. All I got. I know somebody you can sell it to. I know name they. They initials is. Nope, I ain't gonna say that because I got the same initials. That's. Their name is Joe Hayden. Their name is Joe Hayden. I was gonna say that this is a jh, but I ain't want you thinking it was me, bro. I ain't got that kind of paper, bro. I ain't got nothing close to it, man. Like, like, hey, no, I can't. I can't afford it. I don't even know how to afford it, man. Hey, I'm just trying to keep the lights on, man. Did the lights on? Did they go? Lights off. The power on? I think my power's still on. Internet still on? Internet's still working. I'm doing good, Chad. I'm still on here. The Internet's still working? Yeah, it's still on here. Hell yeah. Hell yeah. Listen, that's what we got to do. That. That's it. That's it. 4.8 million. I ain't gonna lie to you. I saw a car. I did see a car one time and it was recent and like, I could never buy it. Maybe I could. I would have to have stupid money though, and then it would just be so wasteful. I could do other good things with that money. You know what I'm saying? You know, I can. I can afford to do something stupid here and there, but I can't live stupid. I think, you know, when you live stupid and you spend too much, that's when you. You get in trouble. But the car was like $12 million. Now the only way I think I would contemplate buying that car is if by some. Wow. Stretch the imagination. I can't maybe a billionaire, but I can't just become a billionaire. I gotta be bringing in. I gotta be bringing in like maybe 150 to 200 million a year because the money gonna go away fast. Okay? It'll go away fast when you spin it like that. Okay, now I need. I don't even know what kind of car it was. It might have been some kind of Bugatti of some sort or some other kind. It was like a race. It wasn't a race car, but it looked nice. I gotta ask my son. He. The car, dude. He showed me it. He's like, dad, you can get it. I'm like, no, I can't. Yeah, you can. No, I can't. I can't. Unless you want to be living it up under a bridge somewhere, son. Can't afford that. Never could, never will. But might be, might be. You never know. Never know. Hopefully. Hopefully. Look here, man, I'm jump on into the chat. Covered like she back. She got. She asked $5 coming to life. What do you think about the franchise tag with Pickens and Jerry's comments about his agent? What was the comments about Jerry's agent? Is it the same agent that was Micah's agent? What were the comments? I'm trying to. What were the comments? I didn't see him. Tell me in the chat. What was it? What was the comments? We'll get back today once y' all get to me. It's a little delay on this, though. Back to Covenant Liar. $5 resurrection Sunday testimony. On the third day, he rose meaningful. Cleveland still. Meanwhile, Cleveland's still waiting. Cleveland's still waiting on a season to rise. Hey, man, Cleveland, listen. I love this. Hey, listen, listen. Y'. All. Y' all need to do something, bruh. Y' all need it. Hey, y' all need to do something. Y' all can't. 89. He still ain't winning. 89, he still ain't even winning. You got the north. That was it. That was it. You got the AFC North. That was it. Y' all can't even get the north no more. Y' all can't even beat three other teams consistently. The year Joe was born. That was it. Man. Listen here, man. Oh, my. Oh, my. Good Lord. Come to life back. She be flooding the chat. She be flooding the chat. We love you. Appreciate you for it. No question. $3 she said, Debo. I could have co hosted with you and pretended to be Joe and responded just as he would. Joe, you messed up my. Joe. You messed up my. How well do you know your co host, Jeopardy. Edition? I will ask the chat. You know the 100 yard return before James was a Steeler, you know the 100 yard return, but before James was a Steeler, he played in NFL Europe, which Team did he play for? Oh, chat. NFL Europe. Which team did I play for? It was $300. This is a question we need to be asked. Covenant Life said, hey, chat. Just for the chat, though. What team did I play for in NFL Europe? Which team? Don't be going and looking and going on chat. GPT and all that cheating. See, Let's hop back to the franchise, y'. All Give me that franchise. Tell me where Jerry, we probably ain't got no cowboy fans here. We kind of talk crazy to him. Yes, Somebody was right. Ryan, fire. Ryan, fire immediately. Listen, y' all can go to Germany if y' all want to. I'm cool with. Was cool. It got done what I needed to get done. But NFL Europe experience, that wasn't. That wasn't for me, period. Like, the NFL Europe experience wasn't for me. I like doing what I was doing over there playing the game. But, like, it was. Dude, it was worse than playing on practice squad. Like, it was worse than that. Like, you. You. You at least on practice squad, you got paid some good money. I think I was getting like 500 a week like this. And then the. You know, they get your housing and whatever. You stay in a hotel and you know all that, but you can't. What they do for you, you still gotta do other things for yourself. And then you had guys over there to help whole families, dude. And they were over there playing. I'm like, it was. You had to want it. That's for sure. Like, you had to want it for sure. But I did not like the experience. What we got here? Oh, my goodness. They said Jerry said Pickens would save a lot of money if he did the deals directly without an agent. Same BS he tried with Micah. That's purple yet I pack. Wow. Purple YETI pack. Purple, yeah. Purple YETI pack. I don't even know if you can do that. Can you. Can you do your contract without an agent? I think you can, but it don't never work that way. You use your agent as the in between to say the things that you shouldn't directly say or be upset about because of the process of how you got to work that out once you actually do do the deal or you don't do the deal. So all this stuff that Jerry is talking about is nothing but stuff to benefit him. It has nothing to do with the player, is to benefit him and his team. And to get a player at a cheaper price or a better price than what the value is of what they should be paid, period. Like, yeah, go without representative go without representation. Yeah. Don't know of the wording that I'm putting in here where I changed two or three words and now you're screwed and you got to give me all your money back because you said it. Don't listen to him. Don't listen to him. Y' all cry, y'. All. You're out of control. Out of control. He. He has Jason. You can't. You can't do that, man. Get your money. Get your money. Pickens. Use your agent, use your lawyer, use your attorney. Use everything pay tell. You need to pay top dollar, man. You gave top performance. You need paid top dollar, period in the discussion. Look here, man. Thank you guys for joining us. Oh, so thank you for joining me on this episode of Debo. Please make sure you like subscribe and download where you get your show. This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed Human.
Aired April 3, 2026
This episode of Nightcap is co-hosted by NFL vets, with Deebo holding down the fort in Joe’s absence. The conversation dives into fresh NFL and sports headlines, focusing on instant reactions and authentic locker-room takes. Deebo gives his unique perspective on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts’ coachability rumors, Rams WR Puka Nacua’s decision to seek rehab, and—injecting some much-needed humor—analyzes viral Tiger Woods memes. The show also turns to Floyd Mayweather’s alleged business drama, excesses of sports wealth, and candid recollections about the pressure and pitfalls young athletes face in today’s internet era.
[02:38-08:17]
Deebo reacts to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler’s report that “sources with the Eagles organization believe Jalen Hurts is not the most coachable”—detailing claims about Hurts calling his own plays, pushing back on coaching suggestions, and displaying “poor body language.”
Takeaway: Deebo defends Hurts, places blame on team management, and underscores how narratives shift when a team’s not winning: “Tell me when it’s going good, what’s going bad... Tell me how much better you could be if you fix the back end while you’re still winning up front.” ([07:19])

Deebo on anonymous leaks:
“I need a name attached to it, so I could give or take away credibility from what is being said. Then again, they can’t because they’re still with the team... Where there’s smoke, it’s usually a little bit of fire, but... winning kills all this.” ([05:46-06:44])
On Puka Nacua’s accountability:
“He’s trying to take accountability, improve himself... That messes with your judgment, you know? So I’m hoping everything comes out for the best for him.” ([11:45])
On life as a young athlete:
“You might have a whole bunch of yes men behind you... just being around you, having access to you. You don’t want to be on the Internet out here like Tiger Woods, man.” ([19:58])
Tiger Woods meme on the Cowboys:
“Please tell me Tiger Woods has as many DUIs and car crashes as the Dallas Cowboys have playoff wins in the last three decades… Hey, the last three decades. That’s crazy. We them boys, though. I can't tell.” ([21:10])
On Mayweather’s spending:
“You got five Bugattis, that ain’t nothing, bro... you just bought a 4.8 million dollar car with a body that shimmers... What are we doing?” ([31:20])
Financial advice:
“I can afford to do something stupid here and there, but I can't live stupid. When you live stupid and you spend too much, that's when you get in trouble.” ([32:14])
On negotiating contracts:
“Don’t listen to him. Get your money, Pickens. Use your agent, use your lawyer, use your attorney... You gave top performance, you need paid top dollar, period. End of discussion.” ([41:28])
Casual, unfiltered, and authentic—Deebo’s solo delivery channels not just sports expertise but also honest, funny big-brother energy. The show stays true to Nightcap’s ethos: peeling back headlines with locker-room wit and real-life context. Whether poking fun at memes, empathizing with young athletes, or calling out front office politics, the conversation is both insightful and entertaining.
Next Episode Teaser:
“Monday, I may have a surprise for y’all... The great Dick LeBeau… here on Monday talking and conversating.” ([09:20])
