Jude Bellingham scored two goals in a matter of minutes, really was the difference. And Julian Quinones struck before the break. But Harry Kane restored it on a two go lead with a conceded penalty itself. The second half also. So they get a red car, they get a penalty kick. Kane knocks in, and then Cade ends up kicking the guy in the restricted area. He gets, he gets louder. Penalty kick. And so it's 3:2 with about 14, 15 minutes to go. Don't worry about me back here. Hey, I ain't got nothing for you. I mean, he was on fuse. He was looking, and it's like, no, you got to stay in there. And plus, you got to understand, Mexico is above sea level, so that's really. That's altitude. And I don't know how. I don't know how. I don't know if England trained in altitude to get adjusted to this. You have to train them, because, you know, that's what happened in Mexico City in 68. That's where. Now you see everybody go do altitude training. They go to a flag, they go to Flagstaff, Arizona, or they go to Colorado Springs. That's Big Bear training facility.

Yeah.

Or they go to Utah. They go to somewhere way above sea level to get Big Bear mammoth. They get their body acclimated to take on oxygen because you want the body to produce more red blood cells, which is your oxygen carriers. So when you come back down to sea level, you.

It. It's like, man, hold up. Y' all know they got pills and stuff for that. For them rib when I played in Utah, bro. They got stuff like that that you can take. That helps.

I know they got stuff that could help. I don't. I know. First it produce a lot of red blood.

We understand that why you had to break up pills. Why'd you say. You know what? You're right. You're the altitude training, where guys go way above sea level. Because normally they're below sea level or at sea level. So in order to increase, to get the red blood cells up, count up, which carries oxygen, and the more oxygen your body. That's what EPO does. It produces more, but it makes your blood thick. So you have to have doctor supervision to. To master that. You see a lot of endurance athletes. That's what a lot of the marathoners and distance runners, that's what they get popped with. That's what a lot of Tour de France riders get popped with. Yeah. Or they'll do what they call blood. They take blood out, freeze it.

[Joe Johnson]

Yeah. Spin it. Spin it and put it.

[ISO Joe Johnson]

Something like that. But yeah. What I was saying was the, the.

The type of training that you have to do to be a soccer player, Ocho. Obviously you play, so I know you would know. You gotta exert yourself, all that running out there, bro. They gonna be exhausted. There's no way you can play that game and not be exhausted, bro.

Yeah. Most of the time, Joe, by the time they get to the 7th, the 78th or the 80th minute, everybody's gone. Your legs are going. Your legs are shot. Most of the time, you'll see a lot of players cramping. And especially when the 7th to 80th minute come, you'll see a lot of people flailing and what people call flopping. I. I call it. I call it tactical timeout. To be able to give everything.

And everybody. Everybody. Yeah. Outside of that. Hey, uncle. Was a good game, man. I was hoping. I was hoping that England was down 10 men. I was hoping. I mean, Mexico found a way being that they had an advantage having one man up. I was hoping they would Find a way attacking and being able to. To get up to get that last goal. And the reason Jude Bellingham couldn't come out because of his height. His height. He's six, five, six five. You know, maybe almost six six. And they need him. They need him in there defensively. You know, when they. When they had everybody down in the low block on in the final third to get some of those balls up out of there.

And. And the thing is, Ocho, when you look at this game and Mexico has some chances, the goalie made a couple of great saves, but they missed some golden opportunities. Now they had a couple of point blank right. You got. And you're like, okay, yeah, that was early, you know, but I'm saying it's just this. Like anything, you don't know if and when those opportunities will present themselves again. So you really need to cash in because if it gets later, later, you feel the tension rises. And unless somebody just makes an egregious area error, error, likelihood of you getting an opportunity like you blew is not very likely. Ocho.

And you remember there was one. There was one right in the box.

The ball came right to him. And instead of just. It was hard because it was. It was waist level. So when the ball is waist level, you have no choice but to take a touch. By the time he made a touch, Jew Bellingham kicked the ball out of bounds and he. Right there in front of the goal. Yep, right there in front. And that was their chance.

[Chad Ochocinco]

Yeah, that was. That was an opportunity for them to get it. But look, I thought it. Look, this is Mexico. And the. The Mexican fans were going crazy. They were going bonkers.

[Joe Johnson]

Oh, yeah.

And you know, hey, I had some sound on, but I had it on the Mexican channel because I was. Because I didn't know they were going crazy.

Hey, you had it on Telemundo.

I guess that's what it was.

But it was. It was. I didn't understand anything that was said. I was just like. But I knew when that guy. I was like, oh, yeah, he about to get a red car.

But he. You. But you. You really about to get a red card on this one. And then, hey, he made it. And. But it was a great game. It was. I mean, it was crazy. It was going back and forth. I was like, man, this thing, hey, I don't know what's gonna happen because England jumped out there, those. That two goal lead. I was like, well, Damn.

Yeah. Yeah, they jumped out quick, and then

[Chad Ochocinco]

Mexico kind of get an equal, like, get. Gets one of those bags right before the half, and then they come right back out. But then Kane, you know, get the penalty kick, it's up three one, and then he commits the error that gets them another. Gets Mexico a penalty kick. And so now it's 3:2 with about 13. About 13 minutes of regulation. Plus, you don't know how much stoppage time you're gonna have, so you figure you're gonna have at least probably somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes to get a goal to tie this thing up.

Yeah. And you know what?

Give England credit. They dug the heels in oo and didn't give it up and didn't concede anything.

They did. And matter of fact, England's defender, I can't remember his last name, but he got a red card, obviously, for. For his. For the spikes getting up too high. They've already set a precedent. You know, Balagun gets to play tomorrow for usa. So this the. Hold on. Since the fe. Since the FIFA president already set a precedent on red cards and allowing people to play, I'm assuming he won't have to miss his game against Norway. Hold on.

Yeah, I thought we'd. Ocho. I've had a lot of people in the chat say we don't want politics in sports.

Oh, there's. Oh, there's always.
