Bell says James Harden is a better player than Dwyane Wade. And it's not really close. You're talking about a player that can score it, a player that can get to the free throw line, a player that can pass out of the. Out of the pick and roll. A lot of people are going under D. Wade on pick and roll and I ain't going front. You feel me? A lot of people were letting D. Ray have that. Joe, you played against both of them. You know what D. Wade is? He's the first Battle hall of Famer. He won gold medals. He was a Finals mvp. He was an all NBA selection, a multiple time all Star. Pat Bell, he played with James Harden and he's played against D. Wade. He says James Harden is not only a better player, but. But a match.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey, Joe, before you go. Before you go. Joe.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
When you have a conversation like this, right. And we. Somebody like Beverly say something like this, who is a defender, Right. I'm sure Pat has been able to have the chance to play against both of them.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
When you measure it by metrics and comparison, don't you take out the accolades and the resume in general and just talk about skill, not what they've won as a team accomplishment. I'm just, I'm just curious.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
It just depends on. It just depends.
Sports Analyst 1
It depends. It's hard. It's hard, Ocho, because what we're doing is that when we say one is other than the better, we got a nitpick. So we gotta, we gotta take things down. Okay? One guy's been to this minute, been a this many time all star. This guy's been that many time all star.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
This guy's been this many time of all NBA selection. This guy's been that many times all NBA selection. This guy was a Finals mvp. This guy was a regular season mvp. This guy led the league in scoring this many times. This guy was an all defensive player, so. Cause you nitpicking now. Here's the interesting thing. They're debating about who's the third best two guard in NBA history. Cause one and two is already solidified. It's Jordan, Kobe. So the one two spot is already solidified. We're talking about the third best shooting guard in NBA history. Ocho. That's the funny thing. It's not like we talk about, well, who's the best, who's this, who's that? Those two positions are already locked. And I'm not So sure that somebody's coming along in the very near future that's gonna unseat them. Yeah, I don't think anybody's gonna unseat Kobe. Let's just go ahead and be honest. I don't think anybody gonna unseat Jordan and Kobe and the two guard, Joe. You think so? Somebody's coming along, Joe.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I don't. I don't know. You know, we got so many guys who surprise you. You never know. You never know. It's gotta be somebody who's gonna come along and break some of these records. I mean, this is, this rest is a.
Sports Analyst 1
Even if you break the records because the records don't matter when it comes to Jordan and Kobe because of who they. How they did it. Everybody remember the big shots, everybody remember the killer instinct. And they got the two most popular shoes. How you beating that Ojo Joe?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I. I think you. It's some kids who, who. Who got a chance. It ain't gonna be easy now. It ain't gonna be easy. It's gonna be a hard feat. But to kind of go back to what we were talking about.
Sports Analyst 1
Yes.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I'm taking D. Wade first. I think James Harden has a better offensive package, but this way all around. I don't know if y' all noticed, but he's probably top five in NBA. Two guards as far as shot blocking, you know.
Sports Analyst 1
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
He played both hands on the floor. He was a.
Sports Analyst 1
He.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
He was locked down defender when he needed to be playing alongside LeBron. He led the NBA in scoring one year. I think that's the year.
Sports Analyst 1
Yep.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
When I was playing for the Hawks and we played them in the playoffs. But I think D. Wade, man, he's accomplished so much, bro. Like, I think it's your preference on what you like. I think D. Wade is more of a two way, two guard. One of the best who could post up, make plays. Obviously a champion. And I guess it's just your preference, bro.
Sports Analyst 1
It is.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Probably D. Wade is definitely more a complete player.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Because before the knees got bulky, Dwayne would take the challenge defensively. Played really big. D. Way. Played really big in big games a lot. They down 02 to the Mavericks.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
And he goes crazy. And he wins the finals MVP. He's averaging. I think he averaged 36.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
For that series.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah. But. But y' all know. Y' all know the game is about show. Showman's highlights. People like points and James Harden. Yeah, yeah. They like scoring dribble moves, making people fall. And James Got crazy highlights in that, in that. In that aspect. So that's a lot what people gravitate towards. And you still see him out here playing and balling, so you could still be a prisoner of the moment. But I mean, they top five and two guards all the time, bro.
Sports Analyst 1
And that side step, that step back. Hard credit for that, that Euro step,
Joe (Former NBA Player)
that side step, that step back, that one legged. I mean, offensively, his package is much better than D. Wade's if that's what people talking about. But you know, that's what people gravitate to more to scoring.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Damn, that's crazy.
Sports Analyst 1
Shake, yo, just. Alexander spoke about never letting his mental affect his play. Shea said, I think I just love competition. I love adversity. I love when things don't go my way. It just gives me an opportunity to grow and get better. It's easy to be super engaged when you're making every shot and. And you're up 20. But when you're in the thick of things and the things aren't going your way, you really find out about yourself. Those are the moments and the games where I learned the most. So as a bad, as bad as it may seem, I relish those moments. I appreciate those moments. I use them for good, man.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Listen, it's hard to find anything bad to say about the kids.
Sports Analyst 1
Nope.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
You know. Yeah, it's hard to find nothing, man.
Sports Analyst 1
Nothing.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I mean, he seemed like he living right. He take care of his body and at the end of the day, every time he touched the flow, Uncle Ocho, he competing at the highest level. I don't care who they playing against. He trying to put on the show. He trying to score 30. Hey, he say, he say he was inspired by AI when it came to his shoes. He got one of probably top three shoes in the NBA. And he comes out, he plays with that aggression. He plays with that poise and patience and being under control and the confidence every night, man, it just seems like he know the dude standing in front of him. Boy, you gonna have a long night tonight, partner.
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah, I agree with you.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
That's how you play.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
You just asked Joe. Yeah, well, you just said nobody will be able to unseat Mike. Mike and Mike and Kobe.
Sports Analyst 1
I don't think so. Michael ain't played it. Michael retired and. And Michael ain't played him down there 30 years in 20 years.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
But Shay is, is. I'm not. It's very early in his career. Does he have any chance. Joe went on not unseat them, but still be in the same Conversation as them.
Sports Analyst 1
Oh, yeah, he could be in that. He could be a one of them. But see, here's the thing, Joe. A lot of these guys are point. Them two guards masquerading his points. Yeah, Shea the two, but he masquerades at the point. Yeah, but he's a two guard. Yeah, these guys are too. The, the. The Magic Johnson, the Steve Nashes, the Jason kids though. The. The John Stocktons. The. They. A true, true point guard. These guys could absolutely bucket getters. Yeah, those guys wouldn't get no 50 points. The every point guard you talking about, from Tyrese Maxi to Murray to who we just shay, all these guys can go get 50. Yeah, John Stockton wasn't getting no 50. Jason Kid wasn't getting no 50. These guys can go. These guys are bucket getters. They just happen to. But see, this is why they don't have 8, 9, 10 SIS tonight, because their scores is really not facilitators. They're looking more to get their shot than to get other people involved. Yeah, Luke is a point, but he's one of the few points that can go get 50 and have 15 assists. There ain't very. There haven't been very many guys like that in NBA history that can score the bucket, score the basketball like Luca and you look up and like this man had 50 points and 15 assists.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey, Uncle Joe, don't that mean if we had the traditional point guards in today's game, being that the game has evolved and they're more of a facilitator than a score, then you probably don't. You won't get. Get paid as much. Huh?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
You saying the smaller guys won't get paid as much?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
In general, if you're a traditional point guard like the Stocktons and the Magic.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Oh, yeah. No, no, no money. If you can't shoot the three, if you can't score that ball and playmate, you got to be able to do all that now at the point guard spot.
Sports Analyst 1
Yes.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Like the quarterback. Everything revolves around the point guard, bro. Like, you gotta be able to get to that chicken at the point guard position. You think you just gonna come down, run the offense, go to the corner and camp out over there. Now we gonna run this pick and roll. We need you to get a bucket. We need you to get us a great shot. Now whether it's you shooting the floater or pulling up for three or getting in there spraying out the guys for three, or throwing lives, you gotta be able to do all that now to be elite.
Sports Analyst 1
Yes. And these guys, I mean and these guys are big. Ain't no more. Ain't no more six foot point guards. No, no, no, no, no. The Chris Paul days and the John Stockton days. The small point guard. Look at Shay. Look how big Shay is.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
What's buddy named?
Sports Analyst 1
Joe.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
You know, from Dan's acre. How tall he is?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
About six, two, six, three. You seen? Hey, hey, you seen his body, though? You see how rocked up that boy is?
Sports Analyst 1
He gonna be more like an AI.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
He's an exception
Sports Analyst 1
point guard, man. The only thing he did was bring the ball up. Hey, I was looking to get his shot off. Yeah, I was looking to get buckets.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
But, but, but, but, but Acuff, they come for a little different though. Like, he gonna get buckets. Okay, Ocho, but he has an awareness as far as, like, how to keep guys around him involved, you know what I mean? Having to get guys easy buckets. Like I was telling y', all, you get your big. Some easy, some easy buckets, bro, you know, they gonna play a little harder for you, you know what I mean?
Sports Analyst 1
And like Luka tonight, Luka had 40 and 10. Yeah, Luka tonight, Luca had 40 points and 10 assists.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Luka well rounded, bro. He get to it.
Sports Analyst 1
Yes, he. But he's not a traditional point guard. Luca. Luca is, like I said, Luca really like a he because he's so big
Vuse Commercial Announcer
and he can see.
Sports Analyst 1
He got such great vision. Luca, Big Luca. People don't really. Luka 67, 68.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
So ever since Magic Johnson ushered in the big point guard, because prior to him, the point guard was small. Other than Oscar, Oscar was like six, four and a half. Six, five. Yeah, but then if you were six nine, you were a center or a power forward.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Right?
Sports Analyst 1
Before Magic Johnson, that's what you were.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Mr. Russell was 6 9. He was a center. All the 69 guys were either centers or fours. And then here come Magic. He got the ball in his hand, right? Penny Hardaway got the ball in his hand, right? So it's a different era now. The traditional point guard. Now you get a guy like Trey Young, a guy that's about 6 foot tall. He could score the basketball. Portray's led the league in assist.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah. Like, he.
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah, you got to be dynamic like that. It's just not good enough. Oh, he could just. He could just playmate. Nah, I mean, just facilitate. Nah, they can find those guys anywhere. You got to be dynamic. You small and you won't play. You got to be dynamic now.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hey, yeah. Hey, hey, hey. You gotta have some dog in you.
Sports Analyst 1
Man, yes.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Gotta have some doc. Look, when you look like that, they gonna post you up every play, Ocho. They gonna put you in pick and rolls.
Sports Analyst 1
Pick and roll.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
You gonna be guarding LeBron in the post and you ain't gotta expose you, huh?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
You better. You better call for help.
Sports Analyst 1
What do they do? What do they do to Luca? They put Luke in the pick and roll. Okay, you want to give us buckets on the other end, we're gonna come right back at you. What they do to Austin Reeves, what they do to Luca?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, I mean,
Sports Analyst 1
if you, if you gonna be held on the offensive end, they're gonna say, let's see what you can do on the defensive end.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Hey, come here. No, no, no, no, no. You go back. Yeah, come here.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hey, hey. That's why I tell these kids, bro, you want to be in the best shape possible, especially if you the best player, because you gonna have to work the hardest. They gonna be double and triple teaming you and you gonna be out there looking like, man, how can I? I can't score. I can't. That's why you're gonna have to work a lot harder than everybody else, bro.

Malcolm Gladwell
Hello. Hello. I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of Smart Talks with IBM. I recently spoke with IBM's new director of research, Jake Mbetta. We discussed his vision for the future of quantum computing at IBM Research.
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
What we always do is answer what is the future of computing? Whether it's coming up with new algorithms, coming up with better AI, coming up with quantum, or coming up with just how do different accelerators go together? It's our DNA to answer the question of what is the future?
Malcolm Gladwell
Isn't it a perfect problem for IBM because you kind of need to have a legacy of building stuff.
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
Yes.
Malcolm Gladwell
Building actual physical machines.
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah.
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
It's why I came to IBM. I wanted the experience, the culture of building hard things that others have not done before.
Malcolm Gladwell
Where do you imagine we are in the timeline of this technology? There will come a point when it will mature, right?
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
Yeah.
Malcolm Gladwell
My cell phone is a mature technology at this point. How far are we from that point?
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
With conduit, by 2029 we'll build the first fault tolerant quantum computer that is one that can run a very, very large, large problem.

Giannis has refused the Bucks request to shut him down for the season. The Bucks did not provide a timeline for Giannis return, but he'll missed at least a week because of a hyperextension and a bone bruise to his knee. Milwaukee 28 and 40, is 11th place in the Eastern Conference trailing the Bob Bobcats. The Hornets by six and a half game for 10th place and the final spot in the playing tournament. Giannis has missed 32 games this season, the most of his career, and he's seen. And he's seen extended absences because of strains to his right calf. The Bucks are 11 and 21 without Giannis in the lineup this season, and 17 and 19 when he plays.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Man, I think they gearing up to get ready to get rid of Giannis, of course, because the injuries are starting to pile up. Okay. Oh, yes.
Sports Analyst 1
You.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
You know, you noticed that, too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He dealt with some last year, and this year, missing 32 games, it's like. Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
And that's why they want to shut him down. We ain't going nowhere. Oh, we tried. We trying to keep the value high.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah. Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Oh, that's a. That's a car. Oh. So I know. I want to get rid of it. I'm gonna park it.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
I'm gonna have it cleaned up, and I'm gonna sit in the garage. Y' all come look at it if you want it.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Because before I drive it, the more chances somebody run into me or I'm not paying attention to somebody running and I run into somebody, there you go. I decrease the value of it.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Does he view it like that? Maybe he doesn't.
Sports Analyst 1
No, they.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Of course he don't. Of course he don't.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Maybe he want to play to make sure that value stays high.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Nah. Well, I mean, if you continue to get hurt, Ojo, I mean, you gonna diminish your value versus.
Sports Analyst 1
You see the value, See, Max Crosby. You see that? You see? You see. You see the value, Ocho, you see what happened?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Is it the same? It's not the same when it comes to basketball, though, huh? We talk about. We talk about Giannis now.
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah. But I'm saying the injuries are starting to come with great irregularity, and they're starting to keep him out longer periods of time.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
And here's the thing. His whole thing is athleticism. He doesn't shoot the three. Well. He don't shoot coming downhill. Basically, everything is all about you, all about speed and athleticism. Now, if I take some of that away, what are we really getting?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
No, Joe, because the game slows down for you now. Now you got to go into another whole nother package. You got to have that 15 footer, that three ball. You know what I mean?
Sports Analyst 1
If LeBron didn't develop his shot, Joe, he couldn't play this long. Because if you look at LeBron, you look at the game, when LeBron come, everybody was playing with two bigs.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Everybody had a. Everybody had a five or four or three or two or one.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
And he's watched the evolution. He said in order for me to stay around, I. I'm gonna have to get proficient at shooting the three ball.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
And guess what happened now he's top five and three maids.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah. He's improved.
Sports Analyst 1
He had to develop that. He go to Kareem. I mean Hakeem now. He developed a turnaround. Yeah. He's not as athletic as he once was. Can he get to the rim? Yes. But he can't get there with the regularity because it takes too much out of. He is 41.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
But he can shoot the three ball now. His three has let him down a little bit this year. I think he's about 30, 31, 32% where last year I think he was like 36, 37. And there have been a couple of times he shot 40%.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
But you have to. As you start to get older, you've got to evolve. And if you just rely on athleticism, where that athleticism goes, it won't be long.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
You better. Hey, you better have some mean muscle memory in their shoulders and shoot that. I'm telling you. I'm telling you. Hey, look. Because when the athleticism gone. Because even you think about it, I think, I think somebody who transitioned pretty good. Uncle Ocho was Blake Griffin because he was just a dunker.
Sports Analyst 1
But then. Yes.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Turned into a three point shooter.
Sports Analyst 1
Yes.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
A mid range shooter. You know, when he got to Detroit and he was playing and you know his knee was giving him problems. So he's a prime example of that, bro. You got to expand your game as the years go if you want to
Sports Analyst 1
continue to play another guy. Aaron Gordon.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Aaron Gordon. When he was in Orlando, Duncan.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Put backs. Now he's got that three ball. Now he's got the midi.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
See, this is why Kevin and Ran can play a long time. Because he can shoot it. His game isn't relying on athleticism.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Right.
Sports Analyst 1
Even if he's. Even if he slows a step or two, he still can get that jump off. Still got to try to block it. Something that shoot. And he's shooting at a. A damn near 9 foot apex. Good luck with that.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, you got to bring the double.
Sports Analyst 1
Miami traded Jalen Waddle to the Broncos for 22. Jalen Wall and a 2026 fourth round pick to the Broncos for the first round pick this year as well as a third and fourth round picks going to Miami. Ocho clearly clearly the Dolphins are in rebuild mode, piling picks. But don't you got. Don't you got to have something for your quarterback?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
I don't. I don't know what they doing. I don't know what they did.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
They get draft picks, though, Uncle Ocho.
Sports Analyst 1
They got a first rounder and they got. They got a four, but the fourth round was canceled out. But they basically got a first.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Everybody first and the third, Joe. But we talking about somebody coming in and making a immediate impact, especially at the receiver position. You look at what Malik Willis had when he was at Green Bay. He had some dogs around him. He had some. Some really, really good receivers. They might have been young, but he had some really good receivers around him. Now when we come to Miami, I'm not. This is no disrespect to them. You got brother Tutu Atwell. You know, we. We have some guys, we have some good guys, but you still need that dog Joe.
Sports Analyst 1
You.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
That. You still need that dog Joe as a quarterback. When you come out there and come hella high water, you know, this individual here, I can count on I. For him to get open every single time.
Sports Analyst 1
They.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
They, they don't. I don't. I don't think they have that right now, Joe. They have some good players, but you need a difference maker, Joe. You need one now. You got a quarterback. You saw the situation you came from. You saw what he had around him. You know why he had success in the short amount of time that he did play when Jordan Love went out. I hope to do the Dolphins, they do that. They do. They do the young, young bull some justice. Are we going to be right back in the same goddamn situation again, struggling?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Well, Ocho, you. You don't think, you don't think. You, you don't think they can go in the draft and get a dog?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey, Unc, who do we have?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I'm asking. I'm saying think about this. Think about this. If they, if they rebuild and they reload, we getting rid of Waddle. So Kyrie. So yeah, maybe we want to start young and grow with. With some of these, Some of these young talent.
Sports Analyst 1
I like. You know what the thing is, I kind of like a proven commodity now. Everybody, look, everybody ain't gonna be Jamar Chase coming out or Justin Jefferson have those title rookie seasons or Randy Moss have the outstanding rookie season. But my question is, hell, the happiest people in the room are the Eagles because they said if Jalen Waddle went for a. A first of a third, Y' all got Me a cursed over here. Oh, Joe. If Jayla Waddle go for a first and third, what the hell is A.J. brown Worth?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
About. About the same or better? About the same or better.
Sports Analyst 1
I don't think anybody gonna say Jalen Waddle is a comparable receiver to A.J. brown. The problem that A.J. brown, that everybody knows is that they know Philly want to move him and they know AJ Brown want to be moved.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
So that's kind of the thing. Like we know y' all want to move him. We just not gonna flinch and give y'.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
All.
Sports Analyst 1
We're not giving you two first rounders. That ain't happening.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Right. I think first and the third. First and the third is good. The first and the third is good. I think he's still going to get moved. I think it'll probably be after June. I think right now. Yeah, I think it's going to happen in June. But they know he doesn't want to be there.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
They hold on, though. But if it happens in June, I mean, you, you can't draft the draft
Sports Analyst 1
compensation next year because you know they're working on the plan Ocho to try to extend draft picks out to five years. Basketball is seven years. Football is three years. So they're trying to work out a proposal and propose it like you can trade draft picks up to five years in advance.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
So hey, I, I, I, I don't like it. I don't like it. Listen, I know they have a new regime over there in Miami. You want to tear it all the way down. I hope they keep Devon H. Hand.
Sports Analyst 1
I, I hope, yeah, they said, I'm
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
gonna think about giving him away because right, right now that would be your best offensive weapon. They still need some type of veteran presence for those young receivers, someone in it that they can count on for that quarterback. You got, you got to have it.
Sports Analyst 1
No, the Broncos gave up a first round pick. They gave up this. They gave up the first round pick this year and a second round pick. But hey, the fourth Broncos to the
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
four to do that. Look at the defense. They can afford to do that.
Sports Analyst 1
They just for me. I'd rather have AJ Brown. I'd rather have AJ Brown.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Wait, as opposed we talk about for
Sports Analyst 1
the Broncos as opposed to wallow.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Okay, I understand what you're saying.
Sports Analyst 1
Hold on. Oh, you said you rather have wall A.J. brown.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
A.J. brown is obviously the better player. But hey, Waddle ain't no goddamn slouch. Now we can't that Right, right. We talk about somebody that can also take some immediate and go, yeah, yeah,
Sports Analyst 1
he take it up. He's the deep bread. Yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
See, I, I, I, I don't, I don't want to just put Waddle in that, in that boat. We'll say, you know what? He's just strictly a deep there because he's so.
Sports Analyst 1
No, no, no.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
I seen him catch some short stuff, you know, take it.
Sports Analyst 1
Yo, for sure. He got speed to burn now. But, but I mean, all honesty. Oh, I don't look at Waddle as a one. I don't look at Cortland Sutton as a one.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
No, I don't.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
You don't. You don't think, you know she said is one, huh?
Sports Analyst 1
Nope, I don't.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Okay. Okay.
Sports Analyst 1
I don't. I like, I like, I think the thing is people like, well, he's the number one receiver. Okay? Yeah. Every, Everybody got. Everybody gotta be somebody gotta be the number one.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
But we know, we know what makes people.
Sports Analyst 1
But when I look at a number one Ocho, I look at a guy that says, they going in the game, they gotta stop him.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Okay?
Sports Analyst 1
I don't think people go in the game saying that we got to stop Courtland Sutton, we gotta stop Jalen Waddle. They go in the game, said, we got to stop Tyreek, we gotta stop Jetta, we gotta stop Chase. I think they go in the game, we gotta stop Puka. I think jsn, they go in the game saying, we gotta stop those guys. Those are, those are the guys I
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
look at is okay, I see what you mean.
Sports Analyst 1
That's a one. I look at a Nico Collins, That's a one to me, Ocho. Now, everybody got their own opinions, but I look at a one is that somebody put him the game plan, said, we got to stop him.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
And I don't, I don't, I don't.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
When I look at Waddle, obviously, and a lot of people probably wouldn't agree with me, for someone that has speed to burn, that can take the top off of defense the way he does that can just shorten intermediate routes and turn those into 70 and 80 yard touchdowns at times. If he's the only viable option offensively, defense adjustments when they come out the huddle are made. We have to worry about this individual right here.
Sports Analyst 1
When he goes, look at his number when Tyree got hurt, what his number looked like when Tyree got hurt.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
And we also know why that was.
Sports Analyst 1
See, but my thing is, Ocho, whether TJ was there or not, whether, you know, Scott was there or not, you
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
did what you did.
Sports Analyst 1
That's what ones it don't Matter. It don't matter. Okay. The number two can go out. The number three can go out. Okay. So that's, that's how, that's how. That's how I judge the number one. I, I get it. Yeah, he caught this. But, but no, like I said, I judge number one a different than most fans judge number one. But hey, to each his own. Yeah. And I'm not saying they're not. They're bad players. But I'm saying my criteria for being the number one. You got to be that boy. You gotta be. You gotta be that boy. You gotta require special attention. If somebody got a number one corner, they need to see you.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Yeah, I know. One thing just got much, much, much better with what they have already. Much better.
Sports Analyst 1
Who, The Broncos?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, absolutely.
Sports Analyst 1
But I don't know. I don't know what, I don't know what the Dolphins are doing. They got so much ocho, they got damn near $200 million in dead money.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
They don't care. They ain't tripping. We can demolish everything and start all the way over from scratch.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Damn. How you feel about your Broncos, man? I mean, what y' all missing? What you think y' all need now?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Y' all got every goddamn whole field.
Sports Analyst 1
Nah, I still look, I, I, we solid. But if you look at the, look at the teams. When I look at the teams that, like, I look at the Rams,
Joe (Former NBA Player)
they
Sports Analyst 1
got a number one receiver, Puka.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
And then you got devontae. You look at jsn, you look at the teams and they got. I just like. And look, I think Bo is good. I thought Bo had an unbelievable season. It would have been great to see what the Broncos could have done had he been healthy. We'll never know. Do I think they would have won if they'd had both? Would it beat the Patriots? Yes, I believe they.

Malcolm Gladwell
Hello Hello, I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of Smart Talks with IBM. I recently spoke with IBM's new director of research, Jake Gambetta.
It's our DNA. To answer the question of what is the future?
Malcolm Gladwell
Isn't it a perfect problem for IBM because you kind of need to have a legacy of building stuff.
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
Yes.
Malcolm Gladwell
Building actual physical machines. Yeah.
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
It's why I came to IBM. I wanted the experience, the culture of building hard things that others have not done before.
Malcolm Gladwell
Where do you imagine we are in the timeline of this technology? There will come a point when it will mature, right? Yeah. My cell phone is a mature technology at this point. How far are we from that point
Jake Mbetta (IBM Research Director)
with quantum by 2029 we'll build the first fault tolerant quantum computer that is one that can run a very, very large quantum. Large problem.

Sports Analyst 1
But that's neither here nor there. I want to play making tight end. That's what I want. A playmaking tight end. They don't have that. They got guys.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Nothing special.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Oh, I don't know. Y'. All. Y' all loaded? Everything.
Sports Analyst 1
Hell, go get there. So we got a bunch of receivers, but ain't no hell raises, man, I need Ocho. You need a difference maker. The days okay. The Patriots could win with. With a hodgepodge of guys,
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
man.
Sports Analyst 1
Come on, now. Everybody keep on thinking. Everybody keep on thinking. They gonna be. They gonna be Kansas City. Well, you gonna be Kansas City. Your quarterback better be Mahomes. Because sometimes you need your guy to make that guy look good. We're gonna find out, because guess what? Everybody start down in the bottom in the ravine. Ocho, you don't. You don't. You don't get to pick up where you left off. You don't get to pick back up at the AFC Championship, NFC Championship, or the divisional rounds or the playoffs. You got to start all the way at the bottom.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
What have you done for me lately?
Sports Analyst 1
Hey, that's it. And don't nobody care about last year. Last year ain't got nothing to do with this year.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hello.
Sports Analyst 1
You know, hey, you look there, man. You know you got the homeboy. Man, I used to date. I used to date a lawyer or doctor. Where she at now? You ain't got no doctor or lord lawyer under your arm, so I don't know what you used to have. I'm telling you what you got right now. Hey, hey. Shot man.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hey.
Sports Analyst 1
She a lawyer.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Hey, man. What? I look bad? Shot man, you know he was tripping, okay? You didn't seem like she was tripping when you shout out on credentials. Oh, yeah. She had med school.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
All right. Right, right. Hey, hey. They can't wait to brag on the girl, can they? Hey,
Sports Analyst 1
you got a homeboy. Hey, Sean, what you think? She nice?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Got you a little something. Yeah, you know, he'll heal a little old doctor.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, thanks. That show how. Can't be. I've been dating for a little while. Yeah, she got her own paper. Yeah. She bad boy.
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
This boy you gotta watch out for, man. I will. Hold on. Who's that? Simba was talking, telling the story about how he. He introduced this girl to the game and Game sliding. The girl. Dm.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Oh, man, who was that?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Who was the game?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Sports Analyst 1
You know, Hurricane game. The game.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hey, hey, hey, hey. But y' all know how the game played now. Y' all know it's. It's some cats out here who don't mind now. Hey, putting that knife in your back and twist it a little bit.
Sports Analyst 1
Oh, yeah. Hello. I introduced old boy to somebody. I said, hey, man, this okay right here?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Hey, y'. All. Now, mind you, I don't say no name, but I did put a word in for him. Help them get a job with a team in the league.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Take your time.
Sports Analyst 1
Now, I entered right there. My people right here. Yeah, she nice. She nice. How? Two days later, she sent me a thing. You know him. He don't smell. It was nice to meet you this weekend.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Oh, that dirty business.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Oh, boy, I didn't have something worse than that.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Joe, what happened?
Sports Analyst 1
Joe, talk to me. Hey, did I call him? Oh, you. Oh, you called him. I said, bro, I introduce you. Nah, man, I. I thought that was her. What difference does it make?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey, he playing nasty, huh? He playing nasty. Joe. What happened with you, Joe?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Man, this is a long, long, long time, Man. I was. I was. I was dating this girl, and one day after practice, she hit me. She hit me. She going off. She was like, I can't believe you think I would try trying to run with one of your teammates.
Sports Analyst 1
This. That.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I'm like, what are you talking about? She was like, one of your teammates called me, said, he got my number from you. I'm like, say he got my number from you. I'm like, man, I ain't got nobody. So somebody done went in my phone during practice, and they got the number out and then hit her, and now she think I'm the one put. I told him to.
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I mean, yeah. I don't do no dirty business.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hold on. Time out. Joe, he went in your phone and got the girl number?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, man. Got the girl number, called her, then
Sports Analyst 1
tried to throw his little whoop down that dirty outro.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
I can't believe you ain't had no. Oh, man.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Can I. Can I be honest with you?
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey. Hey, Joe. And I'm like, I normally never been number one. I always, always been in the number two spot. Most of the time. Most of my life, most of my you know, career, especially during.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
That's why I'm so cautious, because I understand how the game go. Because I didn't been number one so long. I didn't seen everything and had worked. So I. I always thought.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
You mean you'd have been number two?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Yeah, I'd have been number two so long. So I didn't seen all the plays and. And all the stuff that they do and the lies, and I didn't, you know, you sitting here with me, you on the phone with him. Oh, I'm about to go to sleep. And so I understand that. So I. I've always been real cautious about being number one because I understand how it was to be number two so long.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Absolutely. Absolutely.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Anytime I see any kind of confusion on or I see any. Any signs.
Sports Analyst 1
Oh, that one thing you will do now, my homeboy got no, my homeboy Ultra ain't got no problem being a clown. He's still circus coming. He dress up immediately.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey, hey, Joe. Oh, oh, are you trying to be funny? Oh, baby, we can make it a comedy show. That's what you want to do, you know,
Sports Analyst 1
but, Joe, I can. Joe, I sit there, I. Hey. I walked up to him, I said, hey, but bad. Hey, this my boy right here. We worked out together.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey, hey, and Joe. Joe, you've been in the big league, uncle. You've been in the big leagues. We live a different lifestyle. You hear the stories all the time, Joe, you know how. You know how the game go.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Big face, big fish take little fish. It's always been that way. And most of the time.
Sports Analyst 1
But I, I. If I go around Ocho, I go around somebody, I ain't even looking. As a matter of fact, I don't even feel comfortable. I'm gonna move. I'm gonna. I'm not, bro. Check this out. So we there. Me and I know, I know old boy. I know to do. I. But one of his homeboys. So, you know, I'm, you know, I'm doing what I'm doing. I'm working.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
So about leave. Go to another station. She like, babe, I want to get you upset, but do he know that I'm with you? I was like, yeah. Why? He said, but because every time you look away and I look up, he winking and smiling.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Oh, yeah, man, that bad.
Sports Analyst 1
So I like, for real. I said, okay. I say, I say, maybe you. Maybe it ain't like that. She said, you know what? Maybe you right. So we go sit down. I'm done with my thing. We Just sitting on the couch. We just sitting there. She lean over. It ain't my imagination. You're doing it for real. And I told him that I was with you, and I think it's disrespectful.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Damn.
Sports Analyst 1
So I said, well, let me. Let me handle. She said, no, no. She said, if it's a guy, it's my job to handle it. If it's a lady, it's your job to handle it. She said, I have. I said, don't worry about it. So I called old boy that he was with because I've been knowing him for years. I said, my man, I don't know if you know this, but let me. Let me pull you. Let me pull you. Let me pull your shirt on something.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
He said, what? He said, what's up, Shop? I said, oh, boy, that's with you. He's being disrespectful. I said, I didn't step to him and make no scene because of you, but him doing what he's doing is a reflection of you because you got him in your company.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Absolutely.
Sports Analyst 1
I said, out of respect to you. He said, you know what? He said, I'mma handle it. He said, give me 10 minutes. I'm going call you back. He hit me back. He said, I handled it. Everything that you said, you right. He said, you know, I ain't got nothing but love for you. He said, I've been knowing you since I was in college, and you always been straight with me.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
So I will be straight with you. I handle that situation. I'm like, dude. I said, yeah, but it's. But it's all. It's always been like that with me. I mean, I'm talking to.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I might, I might.
Sports Analyst 1
I don't go out that much. I might go out one time.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Talk to the girl. She called me, oh, you. Why you tell such and such? I said, I didn't tell nobody nothing. You think I want my business out there? Well, he said that you said he done went back because he saw us talking. He done went back, told the girl that I told everybody the locker room I was having sex with her.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Oh, man.
Sports Analyst 1
Hey, see, that's why I move. That's why I moved by myself.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
It's a dirty game, Uncle Joe.
Sports Analyst 1
Come on. It is. It is always been like, if I. If I. If I see somebody with somebody, it ain't no misunderstanding. She with him. I don't care what the capacity is.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Right.
Sports Analyst 1
If I see y' all out of the club, I see y' all at A restaurant. I'm assuming y' all together.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hello.
Sports Analyst 1
I'm cool with it.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
It's too many. It's too many to try to butt heads with you over one.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Absolutely.
Sports Analyst 1
I don't care how good she. How beautiful she is, and there have been some beautiful women, but, nah, it ain't that serious, man.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Hey, Joe, you know, for, you know, firsthand, boy.
Sports Analyst 1
Yeah.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
You hear me?
Joe (Former NBA Player)
It's a dirty game, Joe.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
You not Joe.
Sports Analyst 1
But see. Oh, you keep the twelves, though. You keep a 12. That one thing about. Hey, look here. He keep a 12.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
I didn't say. I didn't sat down. I didn't sat down, Joe.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
I'm saying you better. You ready to get married?
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Two brooms, huh? Hey, matter of. Matter of fact, I'm gonna say after. After I whoop your ass, I'm gonna jump the broom.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hey, hey, bro, I don't want to lump you up for your win. Now. I just need three minutes. Three minutes just for us to swell, man.
Sports Analyst 1
Who does that? Oh, you. I ain't no way. Somebody say, hey, this is my girl, Ocho. Hey, how you doing? Such and such. And then you gonna slide on a
Joe (Former NBA Player)
dm, man, you gonna be winking at her like that.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
That's even. I didn't. What. What I done showed you.
Sports Analyst 1
You showed it to me now. You did.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
There's some cats out there, like, what are you telling.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
But my grandma. My grandma always had a saying, Joe. My grandma, my grandma. How would you know about this? Why are you talking to me like this? Like, baby, I don't understand. I don't. I don't care who you're dating, asking me. You make it. You have to understand most of the people that you're going to meet at this point now that you are who you are, and you're making what you make. It's not who you are. It's what you can do. And she might say she love you, but if anybody asking your girl is single, depending on who the person is asking. Joe, you're not hearing me, Joe.
Sports Analyst 1
I'm picking up what you're putting down.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
Depending on who it is, trying to holler.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Absolutely.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
It ain't Sunday. I'm not here to preach. I'm not here to do that. But there have been many examples. Even in the chat, there have been many examples. I'm sure y' all can understand what I'm talking about. And at our level, it's even worse. At that point, it's about opportunity. Many of those that we have access to are opportunists. And when a better opportunity presents itself and they know they can't get caught and they gonna play the game.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Absolutely.
Sports Analyst 1
But y' all do realize the night has a thousand. On most night, it has a thousand and two. Cause somebody see you.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Hello? Hello?
Sports Analyst 1
Could that happen? I mean, until this day. I shut it down. I ain't say nothing up.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
What.
Sports Analyst 1
I ain't saying what. I know who told me, but they saw it.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
Getting out of one car, getting into another. Don't to this day, don't even know. I just stopped talking.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Thought they were low as the floater.
Sports Analyst 1
Found it 1:30 in the morning.
Ocho (Sports Analyst 2)
You know the time.
Sports Analyst 1
And all the time each call and told me, yeah, because this was because he like, hey, hey. He's like. He's like, dog, you in such and such there together. So you know when somebody asks you a question like that. So I got.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
He's like, hey, dog. I said, what? What you see, dog? Man, I saw her getting out of such and such car.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Oh my. Yeah, yeah.
Sports Analyst 1
What time was it? 1:30. You know what I'm saying? Like 1:30. He say.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
He say, homeboy.
Sports Analyst 1
He said. He said. Because he called. He called me room. He called me room. He's like, room. He's like, I was creeping too.
Joe (Former NBA Player)
Yeah, yeah.
