sat down with Clarence Hill Jr and spoke on working with the Dolphins as a consultant in the off season. Let's listen to what Troy had To say, I don't know.
Troy Aikman
I. I think the Dolphins were wise in understanding my relationships around the league and knowing that I have information that they don't have.
Interjecting Commentator
Right.
Troy Aikman
Or can't get. And I think they were smart in taking advantage of that, whether it was. Whether it was through me or through somebody else. The Cowboys have never elected to do that, at least with me. You know, maybe they have with others. But. But no, I don't. I don't feel there's a conflict. But. But I will say I'm pulling for the Dolphins, and I know that because. Because now I have something at stake. And I think. I think they hired two really talented, wonderful people, and I think that's going to prove itself out. Now, 26 is going to be a tough season because of the cap that took a big hit when they let you go. But, you know, time will tell. But yeah, I'm pulling for him. I want to see him do well because I feel like my fingerprints are on it as well.
Joe (Co-host)
Well, the Cowboy, you gonna trade Jordan Brooks at Cowboys?
Troy Aikman
I like Jordan Brooks.
Ocho (Co-host)
That's my guy.
Shannon Sharpe
Clarence Hill Jr. I've known Clarence for a while. He's always at the Super Bowl. He used to be the beat writer for the Cowboys. I think he's kind of doing his own thing now. Right? Isn't he? Or is he still. He's still with the Cowboys, but he got an opportunity to sit down with Troy, who's one of the great. One of the great players in Cowboys history.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yes.
Shannon Sharpe
Joe, what do you think about. In Ocho. You could chime in with this, man. What do you think about Troy, one of the great players in Cowboys history, and Jerry allowed him to give intel to the Dolphins.
Joe (Co-host)
I mean, I don't understand what kind of intel is he going to have that the organization and the resources that they have that they can't find out on their own? When it comes to. When it comes to picking players, when it comes to getting players, I mean, there's film study. You have scouts, you have GMs.
Shannon Sharpe
I think it's more of GM. I think it's more of GMs and coaches because he gets an opportunity to talk to these people. He ain't talk. He not in. He's not in production. Meeting 20, 19 weeks of the year. Yeah, Troy is. He's not joy. Jerry not meeting with head coaches and general managers. Troy is.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, yeah, but how.
Shannon Sharpe
How he's picking up schemes and what they do and how they operate.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey, hold on. Oo so the Dolphins gave Aman A job as a consultant.
Shannon Sharpe
They say, look, we got a couple of. Probably a couple hundred thousand or a million dollars to come in. Look at, assess what we have. Look at where you think we're weak, where we're strong, where we can get better. Who are some of the coaches? Who are some of the executives that you think would work well here in Miami?
Ocho (Co-host)
Oh, y' all know Jerry ain't studying that. He don't need nothing.
Joe (Co-host)
You, you know, none of that matter, huh? You could have Jesus and the 12 disciples and in the goddamn Dolphins front office if you ain't got the goddamn product on the field.
Shannon Sharpe
But who picking the players? You don't think. You don't. You don't think the people in. You don't think the guy in Detroit did a good job of picking the players. He traded for golf. He picked J. Mo. He picked Gibbs, he picked Amon R.A. he picked Hutchinson, he picked all those guys. What about the guy in Chicago?
Joe (Co-host)
Phenomenal.
Shannon Sharpe
Did he pose? Brad Holmes, if I'm not mistaken, is a Detroit polls.
Ocho (Co-host)
Is it?
Shannon Sharpe
So what. So what about these guys that the guy did in Chicago? It's not making a difference. Look at where they were before those guys took over and look at where they are now. You think high Roseman is not making a difference?
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, huge difference.
Shannon Sharpe
You think Brett Veach, who's picking the guys in Kansas City?
Joe (Co-host)
And I can ask you a question.
Shannon Sharpe
Yes.
Joe (Co-host)
So do you think that the answer to the Dolphins problem is getting the answer is from Aan Aikman?
Shannon Sharpe
I think the thing is, is that they're looking for who do you think would be a fit. Right. You see, the thing is you can have a fit, but if Jerry go say, I want you to play this guy or I want you to take that guy, but that guy might not fit the offensive scheme, he might not fit the defensive scheme, but Jerry likes it, then what do I do? And then if it doesn't work, then who gets blamed? Ocho. Just like the. Just like the Luca trade. Who gets blamed for the. The luca trade? Ocho.
Joe (Co-host)
Mr. Nico and.
Shannon Sharpe
But who made that decision? Josh Dumont. This is why the Cowboys don't have. Look, I think the thing is, is that Troy has access because he's doing these production meetings. He's talking to head coaches, he's talking to assistants. Cause sometimes it's obviously the head coach ain't leaving, but you're talking to a defensive coordinator, you're calling a linebacker coach, you're talking to this or that or you talking to front office people and they're giving you intel. And he said, well, I think this guy would be a great fit for. For who you. For who you are, your personality.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I think this guy would be the. Because at the end of the day, Ocho, when we put this thing together.
Joe (Co-host)
Yes, sir.
Shannon Sharpe
And I said, I think Ocho. Ocho. Why Ocho? I said, because he don't take himself serious, and he's the direct opposite of me.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I'm serious. And he very Take very little stuff serious, but he understands the game.
Ocho (Co-host)
Right.
Shannon Sharpe
So you got to have a pair. You got to have a match. I could have somebody the exact same as me, but I couldn't have somebody the exact Ocho and somebody that's the exact Ocho. That's not going to work either.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
So you have to have a ying and a yang. You have to have a give, a pull and a push.
Ocho (Co-host)
I agree.
Shannon Sharpe
I. I. Look, Jerry, Jerry, Jerry. Look, Jerry. Jerry wants the credit. This thing works. Jerry's gonna get all the credit. That's just the way it is. That's that. A. And. And I'm a firm believer that you don't realize how successful something can be as long as you don't care who gets the credit. Yeah. Jay wants to credit.
Ocho (Co-host)
That's why he's the GM and the owner.
Shannon Sharpe
GM, owner, VP.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I mean, all I know is Mr. Kraft, Mr. Craft ain't Mr. Kraft. Like, he's the owner. He have a whole bunch of titles. But all I know is how many times he picked that trophy up. How many times did Clark Hunt pick that trophy up? How many times Jeff Lurie picked that trophy up. Jerry ain't picked that trophy up in 30 years. Ocho,
Joe (Co-host)
you're not changing. You're not changing. I mean,
Ocho (Co-host)
all right, not too much, fella. Not too much. Not too much.
Shannon Sharpe
That's the thing. As long as you don't care who gets the credit, you can be really, really good. But if you start thinking about you, because sometimes you undermine your own. Your own self because you care. You worried about who getting the credit, right? I want to win. Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
I. I get it. I. I still. I still don't think, obviously, even. Even though, you know, Troy Aikman, obviously Super bowl winning quarterback, he does what he does. Superb analyst, you know, culling commentary when it comes to helping the Dolphins franchise and changing some of the things. And I. I just. I just don't. I. I don't see it. I don't see it.
Shannon Sharpe
Tell me what you don't see, Joe, and I can help you see what you don't see?
Joe (Co-host)
No, nothing gonna see. Because we're going to see when it's time to play that regardless of who you come in there, it's not going to change until you get the goddamn players. You have to be. If you got that. We haven't had the products in Damarino.
Shannon Sharpe
We haven't had the products. I don't know if you've had a look and you hear this stuff coming out about. About McDaniels and guys possibly didn't respected him and how he talked to the players in X, Y and Z. There has to be a healthy combination. There has to be good players, but the players have to have a respect for a coach. Ocho, it's got to be that if the players don't respect the coach, they're
Joe (Co-host)
going to run them up.
Ocho (Co-host)
Go ahead.
Joe (Co-host)
Before. Before Mike McDaniels. Who do we have?
Shannon Sharpe
The black guy that's in.
Joe (Co-host)
That's D.C. in Minnesota.
Shannon Sharpe
Yes.
Joe (Co-host)
He was respected. He was respected.
Shannon Sharpe
He was respected. But the thing was, he didn't want the quarterback, that the owner overruled him.
Joe (Co-host)
He what again? See there. There's a problem. That's where the problem lies. You have someone that knows football already and understand what it takes to win. Listen, I don't think he's the answer for our organization going forward. So now the owner was the problem.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah. My thing is, if you hire somebody to do a job, are you gonna let him do the job? If you hire somebody to do your roof, you'll be out there telling what he should, how he should do it. Are you gonna let him? Are you gonna let the mofo do it? O joke, Joe. You ask somebody to do a job in your house and you want to tell it well, you should have did it.
Ocho (Co-host)
Right, Right.
Shannon Sharpe
If you telling him what to do, why are you paying him this money when you know what to do? Just do it yourself.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah, yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
But like you said, Ocho, we'll see if they get the right pieces. If this the right coach, if this the right general manager, if they could. They clearly didn't believe. They believed that they were bloated. They believe that their quarterback and some of the other pieces that they have, they weren't going to win and they. And they went for it. Give them credit. Steven Ross believes that. Look, let's go for it. I'm assigned Tyreek. I'm assigned Bradley Chubb. I'm gonna sign a lot of these guys. It didn't work out. Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. Now they starting from scratch, boy. Absolutely. Super scratch. It's gonna be. It's gonna be a rough, what, one or two years?
Ocho (Co-host)
Joe Aikman said that, though, because they
Shannon Sharpe
got all that dead cap money.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
You think they got Tyreek's money? They got Chubb's money. They got tools money. Did they trade Mika Fitzpatrick? They traded somebody. They got a lot. They got a lot of other money out there. So you got 100. You got $100 million in dead cap money, Ocho.
Ocho (Co-host)
Your guppies. Your guppy's going, yo, yo, yo, yo,
Joe (Co-host)
yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. Hey, listen. Listen. My dolphin. Your cowboys in the same boat, homie.
Shannon Sharpe
No.
Ocho (Co-host)
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Joe (Co-host)
We in the same boat.
Ocho (Co-host)
We are not in the same boat as them damn guppies. Don't do that, Joe.
Joe (Co-host)
When the season ended, y' all was on the same couch we was on. What is you talking about?
Ocho (Co-host)
Oh, you know. You know, y' all starting over. Ocho, come on.
Shannon Sharpe
Stop it.
Ocho (Co-host)
We got some promise over here, okay? Oh, no, don't do that. Don't do that. You've been trying to get our wide receiver for the. Since the season been going on.
Joe (Co-host)
Hold on. You still got promise after 30 years, you still believe that?
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah, we got a decent team, Osho.
Shannon Sharpe
We gonna be all right.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah.
Ocho (Co-host)
We just need a little help defensively.
Joe (Co-host)
Yo, you have a decent team every year, Joe. Y' all say the same thing every year, Joe. You talk about delusion. This is part of it, Joe. You part of the problem.
Ocho (Co-host)
No, no, you're being naive now. You naive with them damn bangles, that's who Naive.
Joe (Co-host)
We better than y'.
Ocho (Co-host)
All. That's a damn lie.
Joe (Co-host)
We better than y'.
Shannon Sharpe
All.
Ocho (Co-host)
No. Hell no.
Joe (Co-host)
Okay. We'll see this year, all right?
Ocho (Co-host)
We play out. We gonna play y' all this year.
Joe (Co-host)
I would hope not, Joe. I would hope that's not what you want.
Ocho (Co-host)
Well, I bet the house. I know we gonna run mud hole in y'.
Joe (Co-host)
All. Who gonna stop? Who gonna stop? Jamar?
Shannon Sharpe
Joe.
Joe (Co-host)
Who gonna stop?
Shannon Sharpe
The Cowboys are faced with an approximately between 175 and 182 million in dead cap money, which is about. Which is about 58 to 60% of their total cap space tour. Hill. Jalen Waddle. Where they still got him. And.
Ocho (Co-host)
Oh, I thought they traded.
Shannon Sharpe
They traded Jalen Water to the Broncos.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
So, Tua, he'll Waddle and Ramsay. So, guys, they're not even on their team and their cap space.
Ocho (Co-host)
And Tyreek Hill, too, right?
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Tour. Tyreek Hill. Jalen Waddle and Jalen Ramsey. That's crazy. The Most ever was 127 million in 2022. So they're over almost $60 million clear of that.
Joe (Co-host)
Damn.
Shannon Sharpe
56 million to dead calf. Space waddle is 26. Bradley Chubb is somewhere between 10.9 and 20. And also with Tyreek Hill and Jalen Ramsey. Damn. So basically, over the next couple of years, they're gonna have to build this thing. They're gonna have to hit it out the park. Ocho and Joe with their draft pick,
Ocho (Co-host)
and they draft y. Yep.
Shannon Sharpe
When you in the deck, when you dead. When you got that kind of deck, you can't spend no money in free agency.
Ocho (Co-host)
Who they got the quarterback this year? They got.
Shannon Sharpe
They signed the guy from Green Bay.
Joe (Co-host)
Malik. Malik Willis.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Malik Willis.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, we got Malik Willis.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah. Who he got to throw to?
Joe (Co-host)
Oo 22 at 22 at Will Washington. You know, some other guy. I mean, just. I mean no disrespect. Just, you know, some. Some guys. Some guys, you know, they decent. You know, it ain't no Justin Jefferson's, no Jamar Chases. And I mean nothing like that. We. We have a good. A good core receivers. We still need a dog, though.
Shannon Sharpe
You do.
Joe (Co-host)
You need. You need a dog because you.
Commercial Voice (VIZ, Synergy Kombucha, Cosentyx)
You.
Joe (Co-host)
You look at what Malik Willis was able to do in Green Bay when Jordan Love went down and understand the success he had, but also look at the supporting Cassie had.
Shannon Sharpe
Look at who he was doing it with.
Joe (Co-host)
Exactly. So don't think you sign him and you bring him into the Dolphins repeat the success he had in Green Bay, but he ain't got the same supporting cast.
Ocho (Co-host)
Right.
Shannon Sharpe
Hey, you watch ballroom dancing. That guy might be doing his thing, but look at that lady he doing it with. Hey. Because she doing all those moves he doing, and she doing it backwards and heels.

Hi, I'm Dr. Jake Goodman, host of beyond the Script, the podcast where I sit down with pharmacists to answer the health questions you didn't even know you could ask at the pharmacy counter. In this episode, we are diving into gut health with CVS pharmacist Victoria Mottola, who explains why so many of us live with stomach issues we should not accept as normal.
Pharmacist Victoria Mottola
A lot of what I see is just, like, chronic bloating, chronic stomach aches. Like, I get a stomachache every time that I eat, and it just becomes like a lifestyle where, oh, yeah, you know, I just. I have a stomachache every day or I'm constantly feeling, like, gassy. And all of those things are not something that generally, if you have a healthy gut you should be living with. So that's when we deep dive. We deep dive into your medication, we deep dive into your OTC medication and then at that point we can probably identify something that we can change.

Joe, before we go, we want to tell you about Nicola Jokic. He had a monster game again. 35 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists. Man, listen. The season with his back to back triple double, only Russell Westbrook has been able to go back to back with triple doubles.
Ocho (Co-host)
I'm telling my.
Shannon Sharpe
All right, it's time for our final segment of the evening. It's time for Q and A. He gonna lead the league in rebounds and assists. I don't know if we've ever seen that kind of combination before.
Ocho (Co-host)
He got a chance. Do you think he got a chance to win mvp? Keep it real.
Shannon Sharpe
I do.
Ocho (Co-host)
Do you really?
Shannon Sharpe
I do. But I think. I think. I think it's gonna be Chet. I think it's gonna be. I think it's gonna be Chad, him and Wimy.
Ocho (Co-host)
As far as what?
Shannon Sharpe
Mvp? You mean Shay? I mean Shay. Not Chad. Shay.
Ocho (Co-host)
Him and Wim.
Shannon Sharpe
Shay. Jokic and Shay, Yolk and Wimp. All right, before we get to the super chat, we got another five videos or five voicemails from our discord. Like it. Let's take a listen to number one. What up, Unc? Ocho ISO in the Nightcap family. I hope all y', all, you know, good, healthy, from Louisiana. You heard me. But I got a question for Unc, because I've seen this YouTube, this clip on my YouTube shorts, you know, was on TV doing this thing, man, gonna say for 50 million, I'll go to hell. I just always wanted to ask, like, what was you talking about? And, like, what the hell?
Ocho (Co-host)
What made you say that, bro?
Shannon Sharpe
I just been geeked ever since. Like, it just been playing back in my head ever since. So I just want to ask you this. I think they were. We were talking about a quarterback. A quarterback. I forget who the quarterback was. And we were talking about he's about to get 50 million. And I'm like, 50. They told me, what does he want to go to such and such a place. I like 50 million. I'm going to hell. Yeah. Sam Darling going back to the Jets. That's what it was. Sam Darling going back to the Jets. You do. I mean, I think the thing is, Ocho, people take, like, everything that we say literally. It'll. Literally.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
The whole thing is a part of it. It's like, well, I would go pay for that. I mean, sometimes you just got to make stuff entertaining.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah, yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
They don't understand that.
Shannon Sharpe
But I mean. But they say all the time. I mean, when we talk about these salaries or I do this, or I'll be at training camp. I'll be at training camp right now. Or I'll play two games. Yeah, I play three games in a week. Yeah, but it is what it is. All right, here's our second one. Let's take a listen. What the. What he said in that second one,
Joe (Co-host)
Ocho, Joe, shout out to you guys. Congrats on 2 million subscribers. I've been watching you guys since you guys used to sing the Outros. Question for you guys. Uncle no, Joe, what was the best touchdown that got called back? And, Joe, what was the foul that almost set you off and still King Ocho? Hey, somebody. Hey, somebody that knows. Somebody that know. That's what I'm talking about. Huh? Huh? Get it right. King Ocho get eight. But what he said, the best celebration.
Shannon Sharpe
What that you got. What's the best touchdowns that you had called back?
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, damn, that's a good one. Oh, that's a good one. Boy, I can't. I can't even remember any test.
Shannon Sharpe
I don't. I mean, Ocho and Joe, I don't know if I've had a touchdown, you know, I'm sure I have.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, I don't think I've had a touchdown callback. I've had catches call back, but I can't think of a touchdown,
Ocho (Co-host)
man. Hey, he talking about them that foul that almost sent me off. I can't say it's a foul that almost sent me off, but, boy, I was playing in Phoenix and we came here, played Atlanta Hawks, and they had Theo Ratliff. You from Theo Ratliff?
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, he was swole, wasn't he? Swole. Woo.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey, look, I got in the paint, Ocho and I gave him a pump fake and he jumped. And when he came down, he. In the top of my head. I'm talking about blood just started coming down side of my head in my face. I had to go in the back, get like eight stitches, bro, at the top of my head.
Shannon Sharpe
Damn. Yeah, you were high swing on the joke.
Ocho (Co-host)
Nah, I ain't swinging on hell. I barely even know what the hell was going on. I'm talking about he elbow me. He had them sharp elbow.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah,
Ocho (Co-host)
man. What
Shannon Sharpe
that's. You remember what you call him? Carl Malone did that to Zeke. Zeke came down the lane with a layup. Put 44 stitches over his eye.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, 44?
Shannon Sharpe
Yep.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Joe, you might have to watch my elbows when we play, huh?
Shannon Sharpe
You.
Ocho (Co-host)
You too.
Shannon Sharpe
You too.
Ocho (Co-host)
You too, little partner.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. Yeah, you might well call me Ocho. Rattler.
Shannon Sharpe
Here's our third video. Appreciate you, Nightcap.
Joe (Co-host)
But Unc, I'm still disappointed the way
Ocho (Co-host)
you treated that Josh Allen loss. Disappointed? Put your big boy pants on. You need to talk about that again for real.
Joe (Co-host)
Damn. What happened with Josh Allen?
Shannon Sharpe
Joe Ocho, we said he had five turnovers. When you're that guy, you can't turn the ball over five times. I said before he turned it over, Ocho, before he missed a throw, he had a guy wide open. Yeah, and he missed him going to the left on the over route.
Joe (Co-host)
On the over route, yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Talked about ad nauseam about Josh Allen playing small at the end of the day. Yes, we know he hadn't had to try a whole lot of turnovers in the postseason. He's done a great job, but not this game. I don't know what you want. What you want from me? What? What guys? You want more from me? He didn't play well. We Spoke. He was the reason that they lost.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
But that wasn't good enough. So what you want me to say? They should cut him? Okay, Buffalo cut Josh Allen cut him. I mean, ain't no way this man. Ain't no way he should be your quarterback after the way he played. That's unacceptable. I just. I don't know what y' all want me to say. I mean, Ocho, what you got for me, Ocho?
Joe (Co-host)
I mean, I. Listen, I. I don't know. I don't know exactly what he wants. Maybe. Maybe a delivery. Maybe the energy in which you criticize him. Maybe. Maybe they won't. Maybe they want it a little better. I. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Shannon Sharpe
Because Josh Allen turnovers, and I know he hadn't turned them. And I said, I know Josh hadn't had a whole lot of turnovers in the post.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, he had.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah, he's been really good about that. But not today. Yeah, I'm not talking about the previous games. I'm talking about today. He had five. He had five fumbles right before the half that led to three points. Interceptions when they. Yeah, yeah, I know. James Cook had a fumble, but Josh Allen, you got the ball in your hands the majority of the time. You cannot play like you played today. We said that.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
And until he gets over that hump, we thought this was going to be his year and everybody else's year, because what. The guy that stood at the gate and kept everybody away?
Joe (Co-host)
He was out.
Shannon Sharpe
It was out.
Joe (Co-host)
Was hurt. Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Here's our fourth one.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey.
Shannon Sharpe
Un.
L
Oo ISO. Congratulations on 2 million subscribers. I'm super happy for you guys. Glad to say I've been here since about January 2024, and I love this content, you guys. It's great. Can you guys please give my mom a shout out of some prayers? She's going through breast cancer right now. She's getting towards the end of it. Her name is Barbara. Please give her a shout out. Also shout out my D, who's been her rock. He's going to be by her when she does her surgery and she can't lift her arms, so he'll be there the whole time. His name is Johnny. And then give a shout out to my sisters, D and Aisha and my wife, Lorna. They've been amazing helping out my mom. Give them awesome love, please. And also, please come back to California for your live show. We'll be excited to see you guys.
Shannon Sharpe
Barbara F. Cancer. Stand strong. Johnny, your son said you've been the rock You've been by her, and you're gonna be by her while she goes through this. And through your love and support and your prayers, she's going to be able to get through this. To the. To the daughters, I think D. And Aisha, I think that's what he said their names were. And if I'm wrong, I apologize, but congratulations. But thank you guys for being there for your mom. This. I'm sure this means the word world to her, that you guys have been the rock and been the foundation, because this is a very. A very troubling time and probably something that she's never had to go through before. But she's not going through this alone because she has somebody that says high looks low, but she also has somebody that's eye level, which is her family, her husband and her kids. And thanks to your prayers and the man above that's watching over her, Barbara is going to be just fine. Johnny, we can't thank you enough because, bro, I understand when family goes through things, and sometimes it's even harder on the family than when the person, the individual that's actually going through it. Because you know why? Because ain't nothing they can do. There's nothing worse than feeling helpless in a situation when your kid's going through something. Oh, Jordy, the kid, like, what's wrong? Why are you crying? You don't know if it's a stomachache. You don't know if it's teething. You don't know. What. What is bothering you?
Ocho (Co-host)
Damn. Ojo.
Joe (Co-host)
What's up?
Shannon Sharpe
What.
Ocho (Co-host)
What happened?
Joe (Co-host)
I. I don't know. I think something messes that, but I think we still got the chat live, Miss. I mean, again, prayers, Miss Barbara, Johnny, and all family members, we will keep her in our prayers. Hopefully every. Everything is. Is rectified in that situation. Cancer does suck. And I hope everything comes out good on that end.
Ocho (Co-host)
Oh, boy.
Joe (Co-host)
What we do? What we do from here, Joe?
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey,
Joe (Co-host)
let's. Let's look at our last video Nightcap, gang.
Shannon Sharpe
What it do? What it do?
Ocho (Co-host)
Ocho ISO. We rocking with y' all for a long time. Keep rocking with y' all to the wheels fall off.
Shannon Sharpe
If they fall off, I got a Mexican homeboy that'll put FOMO back on. Now we're gonna get back to pushing, baby. But anyway, my question for y' all real quick. Which one of y' all teammates do you feel like is the most underrated who doesn't get talked about? But he was really that boy. I know y' all got plenty, but I just want y' all to name one for me.
Ocho (Co-host)
All right.
Shannon Sharpe
Holla at y'.
Ocho (Co-host)
All.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, that. That's a good one. Especially for me, obviously, who I played with in college and obviously the NFL. TJ Husmanzada. I think TJ Husmanzada is a huge reason for my success, being that he was able to take some of the attention away from me some. Sometime during those games, he was really, really good, being able to manipulate routes, intermediate, short, whether he played on the outside, whether he played on the inside. He was a master. He was a master at his craft and. And what he did. And I think most of my success come because of the attention that he took, you know, off of me at times. So that.
Shannon Sharpe
That.
Joe (Co-host)
That. That would be my. My. My one teammate who. Who's. Who's underrated, that doesn't get the credit he deserves, being that guy.
Ocho (Co-host)
Man. I. I got two. Oh, I. I got two. Two unique guys who played, I would probably say the same position, and that's Sean Marion. Hey. And Josh Smith. Yeah, and Josh Smith. Two dudes who I was very close with. You know, Sean, early in my career, especially playing in Phoenix, he showed me the ropes, showed me how to be a pro. He got a lot of family in Arkansas, so he came to Arkansas a lot and spent. Me and him spent a lot of time together. Same with Josh Smith. He's like a little brother to me, bro. Like, I know his family well, his pops, his moms. He's also came to Arkansas and hung out with me numerous of times. So. So, you know, we. I built a bond with those two cats, bro, from playing with them over the years, and, you know, just having a lot of fun. And, man, we have some. We have some special times together, bro.
Joe (Co-host)
Are you back?
Shannon Sharpe
I'm back.
Joe (Co-host)
What's up? What. Where you been at, twin?
Shannon Sharpe
You know, God don't give you the patience that you ask for. He puts you in situations that requires patience.
Ocho (Co-host)
There you go.
Joe (Co-host)
Yes, sir.
Shannon Sharpe
So, yeah, you know, unfortunately, we had a situation where it died. Nobody's at fault, at least as far as I can tell, because you best believe if they were at fault, this stuff would not have gone well.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. Stuff happened, huh? Stuff happened, man. You know, it's cool.
Shannon Sharpe
Oh, Lord.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah. Don't worry.
Shannon Sharpe
If I'm not mistaken, I think you. He asked your teammate that you think was the least.
Joe (Co-host)
What, underrated? He doesn't get the credit he deserves, but, you know, he's underrated, I think.
Shannon Sharpe
Rod Smith.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah. I think foots don't get the credit that he deserves. You know, he played an era where you had, you know, you had Marvin Harrison and you had Reggie Wayne, you had Tory Holster, you had to. And Randy Moss. But he led the league in receiving. He's an all probably multiple pro bowls. He just played big for us. And to come in as an undrafted free agent.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Be on the practice squad. And then his first catch is a game winner over Daryl Green and. And to turn himself. He's the all time leading receiver in Broncos history. I think now maybe. I don't know. I. I think. No, I don't think D.T. caught him. I don't think D. T. Caught him. I think he still has the most catches in. In Broncos history. But I think I. I definitely think Rod Smith foots is the most underrated player that I played with. Jacob Motor. Much love nightcap fam. Just brought. Just thought about for a nightcap outside episode. Goat, Jeremy Wade Ocho are country boys. Ocho thinks he can swim with orcas, so why not hit the waters with the goat himself, you know? Jeremy Wade Ocho. Isn't he like some kind of. Doesn't he. What is he on like National Geographic or something?
Joe (Co-host)
I'm not, I'm not sure. But when it comes to swimming, I'm like a dolphin out there.
Ocho (Co-host)
I Smokey, I smoke you and swimming.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh God, here we go.
Ocho (Co-host)
But I already know you're gonna be like, oh, it's cause you tall.
Shannon Sharpe
You ain't got Joe.
Joe (Co-host)
You will not.
Shannon Sharpe
Okay, okay. They'd be fishing, they'd be catching okay. River monsters, you know. He'll be catching all them fish.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
They got teeth and all kind of stuff.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, hey, Joe. I'm a swimming night, Joe. Huh? You asked about me, Joe. Liberty City Charles Hadley championship use on swim team.
Shannon Sharpe
Huh?
Joe (Co-host)
We made swim teams out there in the hood, Joe. Huh? Off the high dive. I could dive whatever you want. Backflip. I mean with somersault. What you want, Joe? I give you anything in the ocean, Joe. Joe, this ain't in the lake. It don't matter where it's at. We got gators in the lake. We take that chance. I'm out swimming gators, Joe. In the canal at Opalaka.
Ocho (Co-host)
Unc, I see why you got him on here, Unc. I see why you got him on here with you. I see why you got him on here with you.
Joe (Co-host)
You talking about Joe? That's what I do, Joe. You talk about swimming, Joe, you could barely beat me in basketball. Talk about swimming. Stop playing with me, Joe. Don't play at my top like that. This what I do.
Shannon Sharpe
Boss man said, what's the time your family humbled you when you. Or when your success got high also? Was your grandfather a big man? What, Joe Ocho, what did your family do to humble you when you were at the peak of your success, man?
Ocho (Co-host)
Gonna lie. Okay, Ocho. I've been a humble individual since I can remember, bro. I think it's because, you know, that only child syndrome. I ain't, you know, never, never. My britches never got too big to where I disrespected, you know, anybody in the family. No matter what I had or didn't have, I always respect everybody, bro. I can't. I. I've never. I can't say I've never got humble, but I've never done none, you know, to be humble. Hey, man, you need to chill out. Nah,
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, I. I was. I was never like that. I mean, obviously, those that know me personally, you, You, You.
Troy Aikman
You.
Joe (Co-host)
You would think the perception being. Being controlled by the media, the way I was on the field was nothing. That was merely a character. The. The villain and the fun and the antics, that was just a character that I displayed on Sundays off the field. I'm nothing like that. I'm completely different. So there really was no need for me to actually be humbled. I think God humbled me in a sense where he wanted me to slow down in other areas that had nothing to do with football.
Ocho (Co-host)
Right, Right.
Joe (Co-host)
He did that, and he sat my black ass down outside of that. As far as just. Just having to be humble when it comes to family, I was. I was always there. I was always there especially for them in times of need. I didn't allow anyone to take advantage of me. But you know where I saw. Where I saw fit in. In. In need to give. I did do that.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I agree with both of you guys. I mean, for me, you know, coming. Y' all know how. How I speak about my grandmother. It was nothing. I mean, she tell me to take the trash out to go cut the grass. I'm like, huh? Cut the grass, Liv, you need to go jump on that. Hey, I cut the front. Libby. You got to cut the back, man. I'm like, dang, you gotta pay for the house and cut the grass.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey, hey, hey, hey, Uncle, I got my grandpa that ride lawnmower. Hey, yeah, he. He ain't want no help. Yeah, I got.
Shannon Sharpe
Hey, I brought my sister a John Deere. Yeah, that one rent out got a snapper.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I said, you want a zero Turn. No, no, no, no, no. That's something I've. I've always been. I mean, I know people think, you know, the way I talk on here, but when I'm around family, I'm. I'm even keel. I don't, I don't yell and scream. I mean, yeah, I have a. I have a. An abrasive personality, but when I'm around family, when I'm around people, I. This is. I'm different. When I'm around family, yeah, I'm. Because I'm the same. Cause I'm, you know, the guy, Mr. Joe. His sons, when they see me, they hadn't seen me in a long time. Joe, I'm at the peak of my career. I'm a SUBO champ. They still call me Pee Wee. Hey, hey.
Ocho (Co-host)
My family called me Lil Joe. Cause my dad named Joe, too. So they always called me. Still to this day call me Lil Joe. What you doing? Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Dr. Jake Goodman
A lot of what I see is just like chronic bloating, chronic stomach aches. Like, I get a stomachache every time that I eat. And it just becomes like a lifestyle where, oh, yeah, you know, I just, I have a stomachache every day or I'm constantly feeling, like, gassy. And all of those things are not something that generally, if you have a healthy gut, you should be living with. So that's when we deep dive. We deep dive into your medication, we deep dive into your OTC medication, and then at that point, we can probably identify something that we can change.
Dr. Jake Goodman
Hear the full conversation, plus some thought fascinating facts about how gut health affects so much more than just your stomach on beyond the Script, a podcast from CVS Pharmacy and iHeartRadio. Listen now, wherever you get your podcasts.

Most of my family called me Shane. But like the people that I work for, when they see me, they still call me Peewee. Yeah, bro, that been 50 years ago.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
So, kid, what's up? Ocho King ISO and still. Hello. That's on 2 million subs. Which four athletes from your hometown do you put on? Mount Rushmore, Glenville, Atlanta. Oo, Miami, Joe, little Rock.
Joe (Co-host)
That's exactly.
Ocho (Co-host)
I go first. And mine ain't hard. You got Scottie Pippen. You got Derek Fisher. Oh, you got Corliss Williamson. Sidney Moncrief.
Shannon Sharpe
Damn.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah, I came over.
Joe (Co-host)
Who you got, huh?
Shannon Sharpe
My hometown. I think for me. I think me and my brother, we gotta occupy two of those spots.
Ocho (Co-host)
You and your brother?
Shannon Sharpe
Oh, we got two of those spots. Atlanta. Damn, Cam.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh,
Shannon Sharpe
Boy.
Ocho (Co-host)
This a melting pot here. They got so much talent. Hell yeah, it ain't.
Shannon Sharpe
I go. You know what? I go. I go. Cam and Dwight Howard.
Joe (Co-host)
Okay. I like. I like that. Liberty City. Antonio Brown. Andre Johnson. Oh, it's so many from down here, man. God damn. There's so many. Am I. Do I throw myself in there or no?
Shannon Sharpe
Hell yeah, you can.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, I'm throw myself in there, man. Dade county legend, Liberty City Zone. One more, one more. I mean, there's so many still playing now. Trying to think who else I mean. McGahey. Shoot. Hey, Frank Gore.
Shannon Sharpe
Okay. Yeah. Tony O. Hey, fellas. Got a workout question. I'm five ten weigh 208. I can Mac bench 315 unassisted. I've been working out since I was 13. I'm 42 now. What should I expect to. What? When should I expect to start losing strength? How old are you now? Oh, you're 42.
Ocho (Co-host)
42.
Shannon Sharpe
42, yeah.
Ocho (Co-host)
If you keep going, you won't necessarily lose strength.
Shannon Sharpe
You just gotta be consistent. I think I started really like, man, man, you hit that God dang. 150.
Ocho (Co-host)
Oh, man.
Shannon Sharpe
Man, they kick you in the ass, hit you in the head.
Joe (Co-host)
I ain't like, hey, I'm still getting stronger, huh?
Shannon Sharpe
Up until I was 50, I mean, even. Hold on. I'm trying to think in 22.
Joe (Co-host)
So.
Shannon Sharpe
22, that was four years ago. At 54, I still could bench about 450. Yeah, 455, 460.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, about me, too.
Shannon Sharpe
But, man, I just got tired of being sore, man, I can't sleep on my shoulders. My shoulders aching.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I said, man, this. I said I shouldn't have to feel. I shouldn't have to feel like this. And I stopped benching heavy. I stopped playing because I used to be. I don't do number Smith machine now.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Because before I was, you know, I was doing free bench.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah, I'm done.
Shannon Sharpe
I'm done with that. I might get back because they've got a couple of guys out there talking reckless, talking about they. We can't beat them in nothing. I ain't gonna say no name. I think he on fourth and one, maybe third and three, or second and two. But if you want to go into that weight room, you need to come see me.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, hey, I'm right there with you, too, huh?
Shannon Sharpe
Okay.
Joe (Co-host)
You. You.
Shannon Sharpe
Hey, you take Peggy, huh?
Joe (Co-host)
Nah, I want Cam.
Shannon Sharpe
You want Cam?
Ocho (Co-host)
Hold on.
Shannon Sharpe
What me and Peggy go do? What Peggy go do?
Joe (Co-host)
I. I don't know. But listen, I'm.
Shannon Sharpe
I'm. I'm.
Joe (Co-host)
I've never been this sad before, Joe. I've never been this sad. I'm not a big guy. I'm not a big guy. But I'm. I'm just saying right now, I'm. I'm. I'm at a point in life where I'm like, well, damn, I'm. I didn't filled out my body, you know, the only thing wrong with me is my shoulders. You know, they're not wide like, I want them. So I'm, like, kind of aerodynamic, but everything else, I'm chiseling my arms and got big.
Shannon Sharpe
No, you gotta put them caps on there. You gotta start doing some side laterals. You gotta start doing that thing. So you gotta. You hold it up and then you come down.
Ocho (Co-host)
One, two, three.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay.
Shannon Sharpe
That thing off.
Joe (Co-host)
I'mma try that. I'mma try that. Yeah, I didn't. Got strong.
Shannon Sharpe
Didn't hit real ds.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. Hey, you know, I'm getting ready for the summer now.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
Oh, yeah. I'll be right there. With you?
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, I'm getting ready for something.
Shannon Sharpe
I'll be right there with you. I'll be on somebody balcony.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I'll be on somebody balcony.
Ocho (Co-host)
Acting a fool.
Shannon Sharpe
Pierre Coffee said, crazy. I have the same birthday as the great Sterling Shark. Would mean a lot if you could give us a happy birthday shout out. I'm 28. Y' all really need y'. All. Y' all are really the uncs I never knew I needed. Yes. Yes. Happy birthday, Pierre. I appreciate that, y'.
Troy Aikman
All.
Shannon Sharpe
My brother today, man, he wouldn't do it. I was like, bro, you ain't doing nothing. You ain't on the golf course. He's like, nah, man, I'm just chilling. I'm just chilling. I say so. All right, bro. But, you know, Happy birthday, man. April 6th, man. I called him early this morning, wished him happy birthday. He was, like, excited. Like, man, you and Ocho and I saw y' all doing your thing, man. Oh, yeah, I see y'. All. Y' all ain't gonna have the boy back on no more. I said, man, you know, you gotta open everybody anytime you want to come, bro. Come on, Titan. Guy, what's up? Oh, what's up? Ocho and ISO, can you guys wish my mom Erlene a happy birthday, guy? Earlene, happy birthday.
Ocho (Co-host)
Happy birthday.
Shannon Sharpe
I went to a high school with a. A lady named. Her name was Earlene Fate. Yeah, we were the same class. Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
What if. Hey, you never know. Ask him if that's the last name.
Shannon Sharpe
I doubt it.
Joe (Co-host)
Happy birthday to you, Brandon Crow.
Shannon Sharpe
Sup, Nightcap? What's your favorite moment on the show in the last few years, and did you guys envision the show growing to what it is and what it has? We did envision, but just not this quick.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
The original premise of the show. Ocho and I was gonna do a quick recap. The show was only supposed to be 30 minutes long, 45 on the. At the absolute max, but mainly 30 minutes.
Ocho (Co-host)
Really?
Shannon Sharpe
Ocho and I, yeah. Take the three. Big game. The three. The game. The. The. The Sunday night game. So we do Sunday. Let's just say we do Sundays. We're gonna take the Sunday night game. We're gonna take the big game on Fox. We're gonna take the big game on cbs, and then we'll talk about another game that was important. We were going to decide. Okay, Ocho, if we couldn't decide on one, we would take two games. So really, theoretically, we were only supposed to talk about four. That four was the absolute max. Five was the absolute Max. But mainly three to four games.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
And then somehow Ocho. Ocho made me tell one story.
Joe (Co-host)
That's all she wrote.
Shannon Sharpe
It was. And Joey was that.
Ocho (Co-host)
It was.
Shannon Sharpe
It was. It was downhill from there. It was downhill from there. And it's like, man, you know, you guys need to start. Stick to football. And the people. Like, man, we need more stories. We need more stories. And so we current. The term come for the sports, but stay.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah. And now over two hours. Three hours.
Commercial Voice (VIZ, Synergy Kombucha, Cosentyx)
Three.
Shannon Sharpe
Yes, yes. But in the original. In the original format, the show was only supposed to be 30 minutes on the low end. The absolute max the show was supposed to be was 40 minutes, 45 minutes. It was. And yeah, to do the show three days a week. So the show was going to come on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. That was the only time the show was supposed to come on. So we were gonna follow NFL. We had no idea. Like, okay. Then we was like, what about when football go off? Like, okay, I guess. Hey. And so here we are. And, you know, we started talking track and field. Like, Ocho, like, man, I like track and field. His daughters run track. Yeah, I love track and field. It's my favorite sport to sit down and watch.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
And we were able to parlay that. And we got young men and women coming on, talking about it. We got a ride. Come on. And we got. I mean, we had. So we got Vernon Norwood, we got the team that came on, Shamir Little, and we had all those people coming on, and we have guys that broke record swimming. And so it's. It's turned into this. Yes. Ocho and I thought. We thought that it was going to take us about three years. I said, ocho, let's get. Let's give it three years. I think in three years we'll grow because we started from scratch.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
I mean, 100 people, 200 people. But Akron, J Dub, he was one of the first guys. Dr. Frankie L. Bellamy was another one. Lainey Ray, she was another one. So we had a core group. I remember looking down, I was like, Damn, we got 300 people in the chat. Okay, we got 300 people, Ocho. And then that was a Sunday night. And then Monday, like, Ocho, we got a thousand. We got 1500. And then it just grew.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah, grew and grew.
Shannon Sharpe
And I just remember having a conversation with Ocho as we started to build, and, you know, we started to get 10,015 and 20,000. And in the postseason, we ended up almost having a hundred thousand in the chat. I said, you know, we're not going to be the only ones in this space anymore.
Joe (Co-host)
Right? He.
Shannon Sharpe
Like I said. Nah, I said people, because we were the only ones in this space. Nobody else did this at night at the game on. During the day.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
That's why we did it at night. And we do have a lot of other people in the space. And congratulations. But
Ocho (Co-host)
this is what.
Shannon Sharpe
This is what Ocho and I, when we sat down and had a conversation, I say, I think it's going to take us about three years, but I think we can be good at it.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey, I got a question.
Joe (Co-host)
So.
Shannon Sharpe
Yes.
Ocho (Co-host)
When you left Fox, you. You already knew you wanted to do Nightcap. You already know the name Nightcap and all that?
Shannon Sharpe
Nope. When I left, the only thing that I was able to leave with when I left Nightcap was Club Shay Shay. Because I had that wrote into my contract. Because if I didn't have that written to my contract, Fox would have got to keep Club Shay Shay. Even if I. Even if they let me now, I would have had to share the revenue with them. So I'd had to do everything and they would got to share the revenue. But it was written in my contract. I got all intellectual properties of Club Shay Shay, the image, everything. The catalog. That was before that. I got that.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
And Talking to people, YouTube, rewards, frequency. The. The only thing is I can only do Club Shay Shay once a week. So we had to come up with another thing. Now, mind you, I left Fox. Ash was still at Fox. I had told Ash. I said, ash, if I ever do something on my own, I want to take you with me.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
She gung ho. She don't know any better. Okay. I go, So what happened at Fox? And I leave. So she called me, say, what are you doing? I said, I don't know. I said, I just know that, hey, I would like for you to come with me. She's like, okay. I said, I don't know what I'm gonna do, but I want you to come with me. She says, okay. She put her two weeks in, and I had to. I was paying out of my pocket. I have no job. And next thing you know, I get picked up by espn. She's gonna be my producer. They're like, we got. I said, no, I got my own producer.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
And then cj, I said, cj, look, bro, Club Shay is not gonna work without you. I say, you and I started this thing in 2020. He's like, okay. So I started paying him out my pocket. So that's how it happened, Joe. But no There was no nightcap when we started. We didn't think of nightcap. Didn't come to be until like, what, like August? Like, damn near September. We lost the first week of September. And it happened. I think I talked. I think Ocho and I got together, like, two weeks before the initial launch. It wasn't gonna be no nightcap. Cause I didn't have no gas. I have no host. I didn't have no co host.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, hey, hey, hey, Joe. I went to LA and he. He pitched me the idea.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
I said, yeah, I'm good. Okay, let's go. That's it.
Shannon Sharpe
Hey.
Joe (Co-host)
He told, hey, all you needed was five minutes. I ain't got time to be sitting in no business meeting, you know, going over logistics and all that. You want to do a show? Okay, I'm in. That's it. I went outside.
Shannon Sharpe
That's what he said. I was like, well, you already know the idea. He's like, oh, if you do it, I know it's gonna be successful, so
Joe (Co-host)
we gonna be good.
Shannon Sharpe
So that was. That was it. And so once we got Ocho. Once I got Ocho, I had a producer in Ash. Boom.
Ocho (Co-host)
And.
Shannon Sharpe
And the rest is, as they say, history. That's. That's. That's really. We basically put this show together in two weeks. Now, we've evolved. We got producers, we got graphics, we got editors, and we have all these things that's housed up under this. But in the beginning, it was just Ash, and, you know, we talking about the games, and Ocho and I was doing what we did. Jose Jorge Castillo up for 5 million cash. Would you rather go number two and use a porta Potty?
Ocho (Co-host)
Lord have mercy.
Shannon Sharpe
Damn. Yeah.
Ocho (Co-host)
You'll do it for 5 million cash. Yeah. Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Wait. To do what?
Shannon Sharpe
Go in the Porta Potty.
Ocho (Co-host)
Take a deuce in a Porta Potty.
Shannon Sharpe
Oh, you'll do it for. For 200.
Joe (Co-host)
I do that. If I got to go.
Ocho (Co-host)
I'm doing that for free in the Porta Potty.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Ocho (Co-host)
You know.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, Joe, you don't. You don't sit. You don't sit on it, Joe. You gotta squat, Joe. Like, you know, you gotta squat like
Shannon Sharpe
this, man, my knees. I gotta sit all the way down.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, you can't do that, man.
Shannon Sharpe
They have to pry me up out of there.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, yeah, okay, I got you. I got you, Joe. I got you. Well, hold on.
Shannon Sharpe
You just.
Joe (Co-host)
You got. You gotta sit there. You ain't got to squat down. Just kneel a little bit. That's it.
Ocho (Co-host)
Well, please, for 5 million.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah, I'm gonna have to go to use the Porta Potty. Yeah, I've never. I've never actually sat down on one. I've never had to do number two in a Porta Potty.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, normally you just got a pp, that's it.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they. They just. They just smell horrific. They just. Terrible.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah, they do.
Shannon Sharpe
I just kind of tell. I'll be. I mean, you know when you go to the airport bathroom and all, and all the urinals are taken and you go to one of the ones that you sit down and somebody ain't even. I said, God damn, y' all can't even flush the toilet. I said, y' all buy some nasty mofos. Hey, I said, man, forget that. I can't. I can't. I just. Wait.
Ocho (Co-host)
That's why I don't like eating when I travel, because, boy, that's the last thing I want to do is have to use that bathroom in the airport.
Shannon Sharpe
Hey, hey, I'm very particular what I eat. I don't really. I don't deal with no fruit. Boy. Fruit go through me. Joe. Yeah, What?
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, ain't nothing. Ain't nothing worse. I mean, I'm assuming y' all don't do number two in public, but ain't nothing.
Shannon Sharpe
Hell, no.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, you don't? What about you, Joe? Any.
Ocho (Co-host)
Anytime I'd rather go in the woods, Ocho. Let me tell you something. My daughter had a volleyball game a couple weeks ago.
Joe (Co-host)
Yes, sir.
Ocho (Co-host)
And, boy, that deuce jumped down on me. Yeah, I'm talking about. Ocho. We 35, 40 minutes away from the house, Ocho. Yeah, but it was a tournament, so she had, like, three games.
Shannon Sharpe
Oh, yeah, You. You stuck, boy.
Ocho (Co-host)
I drove home. Yeah, y'. All.
Shannon Sharpe
So you drove all the way home instead of home? Thank you, Joe. See, y'. All. Now, y' all ain't. Now, I ain't the only crazy one. Thank you, Joe.
Ocho (Co-host)
I drove home.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, what's something wrong with y', all, man? Now, the only problem I had, it happened every blue moon now. Every blue moon. So what I got to do is, most of the time, if you squat over the toilet, sometime when it come out and hit the water, it smash up and hit you in the ass again. I don't like. I call that the teardrop. I don't. I don't like the teardrop, you know? So that's one of the worst things about using the bathroom in public is that water. You know, that. That toilet water catching you when.
Shannon Sharpe
When you.
Joe (Co-host)
When Your stuff fall in the. I don't like.
Shannon Sharpe
Look, I've been dropped. Joe. I'm Joe and Ocho, I ain't never told this before. I've been driving home from Atlanta, going to Glenville, So, you know, you own 16. Yeah, Joe, I done pull aside the road, put the hazard on all my cars. I got toilet paper in there with me. I got. I got a roll of toilet paper.
Joe (Co-host)
Damn.
Shannon Sharpe
Huh? I put. Put the hazards on poolside of the roads and went in the woods.
Ocho (Co-host)
Get out of here.
Shannon Sharpe
I swear to God.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey, listen, I'm telling you, I got to be comfortable. Boy, when I drop that deucer.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah. Hey. That's how I am. I take all my clothes off. Yeah. I don't want nothing around my ankles. I take all I need to be. I need to be.
Joe (Co-host)
Hell, no.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey.
Shannon Sharpe
Cause she.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey. Cause sometimes you might have to hop right in the shower after that joint.
Joe (Co-host)
Oh, yeah, yeah. But y'.
Shannon Sharpe
All. Y' all ask me this. Joe, when you go to the hotel, when you just get to the hotel, do you get in the bed or do you take a shower? What you mean, when you go to a hotel? You go to a hotel, Let you. You just got the plane. You travel, you get to your house.
Ocho (Co-host)
I gotta get that flight up off me. I gotta get that flight.
Shannon Sharpe
Thank you. Thank you. This nasty N word right here. Go in the bed. He don't take no shower.
Joe (Co-host)
I'm going. I'm going right to sleep. I'm going right.
Shannon Sharpe
Thank you.
Ocho (Co-host)
I gotta get that fight off me.
Joe (Co-host)
I'm going right to sleep. I don't understand. Hey, listen, you. You washing every goddamn skin follicle off you. That ain't healthy. No, that ain't healthy.
Shannon Sharpe
Thank you, Joe. Thank you.
Joe (Co-host)
Nah.
Shannon Sharpe
Thank you.
Joe (Co-host)
I'm going to bed. Hey, Joe, I take me a shower
Ocho (Co-host)
in the morning, Ocho, you take a deuce on the plane.
Shannon Sharpe
Absolutely. In the little small joint. Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
No, I'm just saying. I'm just saying, if. If circumstances. If it comes to that, Joe, I'm using the bathroom anyway. My homeboy house and my girl house.
Shannon Sharpe
Oh, no, no, no. You're not doing. No, no, no. Don't nobody take no. Don't nobody do no deuces with me.
Joe (Co-host)
No.
Shannon Sharpe
No. Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, Joe. I don't care where I'm at, Joe boy. I'm gonna get. I'm gonna get it in. I don't. Yeah. I'm not gonna sit down now. I ain't gonna sit down. I'm a squat. I got a good squat game.
Ocho (Co-host)
You can lace the toilet. You don't lace the toilet with tissue.
Joe (Co-host)
No, I ain't got time. I ain't got time for that, Joe.
Shannon Sharpe
Oh, man.
Joe (Co-host)
I'm gonna just squat. I'm gonna just squat over it. I ain't gonna touch it. I ain't gonna touch it. I. I what I do hate. I hate the backsplash. I call this. I call the backsplash the teardrop.
Ocho (Co-host)
Well, ain't no way.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. You know that, that water.
Shannon Sharpe
I can't do it. Look, I had a guest. I had a guest house when I was in la.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Shannon Sharpe
If I had somebody over, I'm like, I'm gonna. I go to the guest house.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. I ain't got time to be doing all that, man. Yo, talk about. He drove 30, 45 minutes.
Ocho (Co-host)
I promise you, the water on.
Shannon Sharpe
I don't do nothing. I cut the water. Even if I'm going to pee, I cut the water on. I don't want nobody hear me peeing. I don't want to hear nobody peeing. Yeah, nasty.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah. 30, 40 minutes. Oh, Joe.
Joe (Co-host)
Y', all, thank you.
Shannon Sharpe
Thank you. I've driven all the way home from the gym, too, Joe. Yeah, absolutely.
Ocho (Co-host)
Y' all telling my stomach hurting and everything, that thing.
Shannon Sharpe
Yes, thank you, Joe. Thank you.
Joe (Co-host)
Y', all.
Shannon Sharpe
Y', all, this is why I rock. Which I knew it was something I said something about Joe.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, Yeah. Y' all ain't living, y', all, but y' all ain't living, man.
Ocho (Co-host)
Play, you know, at them volleyball game, man, Kids running around, they in and out the bathroom. Come on, man.
Joe (Co-host)
Joe, the stall ain't open. You close the door.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, and listen, Joe, you know what you could do, this would happen. Let's say you're at the volleyball game, right? You know, it's a lot of kids. There's a lot of traffic going in and out the bathroom.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
I really don't want nobody to see me. Take your pan down to your ankles, right? You hear me? And just inside, sit on the toilet. Dress your toilet up right. So can't nobody see, huh?
Ocho (Co-host)
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)
Feet up like this.
Ocho (Co-host)
No. Oh, no. I gotta be comfortable. Oh, told I gotta be comfortable.
Joe (Co-host)
They can't see you in the store, Joe.
Ocho (Co-host)
How can you take a deuce like that with your leg high? Stuff like that, man, I need to be comfortable, bro. I'm sorry.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah, but Joe is no different than when she. When she eats.
Ocho (Co-host)
When she eats. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Shannon Sharpe
no, no, no, no. Joe like me. That's Joe. Me. And that's how I am because I eat healthy. So normally I have a pile. I have a hop down off it.
Ocho (Co-host)
Oh, Joe. Oh, you hide your leg up like that when she go down,
Shannon Sharpe
Joe?
Joe (Co-host)
She eat your ass, Joe.
Ocho (Co-host)

Joe (Co-host)

Steve Barton. Just want to give you guys a shout out for my brother Nate, the biggest Michigan fan ever. Tonight is. Tonight is your night. Congrats on the win. Yep. Um, you guys are celebrating. Daryl Nickers. I found a place in Atlanta where I had a 24 ounce wagyu for $164. What are you guys top three favorite country music singers? Who are you guys top three Charlie Pride songs?

Joe (Co-host)
Oh, yeah, I know. I know that.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Joe (Co-host)

Shannon Sharpe
Yeah, I like that song.
Joe (Co-host)
I was there when he wrote the lyrics. I had somewhat of a hand in creating and. And being a part of that song. So, I mean, that's. That's pretty much it.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah, that's it. I don't really. I don't really, you know, a whole lot of. No country scene.
Joe (Co-host)
Country jelly roll.

Ocho (Co-host)
Man, Kobe was a tough guard, you know, Hard to guard anybody in the NBA when they got free range and can shoot when they won't do what they want, you know what I mean? And they do it at a high level, too, like. Cause you can't relax on defense. You know what I mean? And a guy like Kobe, who obviously could shoot the three, could post up, shoot the midi, get to the rack, dunk on you. Like, he has so much in his bag, bro.
Shannon Sharpe
He kept you on your heels.
Ocho (Co-host)
Hey, I tell you one thing. The night before, boy. You got a good night rest. Cause he gonna try to embarrass you.

Joe (Co-host)
Oh, Million Dollar worth of game. Not the gold bottle. And the Gold bottle. Yeah, yeah, I know you.

Shannon Sharpe
Oh, yeah, yeah. No, somebody gave me. I. I mean, normally when I get cologne, I don't. I don't do cologne. So. Bucky got a bunch of cologne. Like I said, I haven't. The last cologne that I bought was Obsession by Calvin Klein.
Joe (Co-host)
Damn. What year was that, huh?
Shannon Sharpe
Like 86. A.
Joe (Co-host)
Obsession was the. The burgundy bottle.
Shannon Sharpe
No, it was a clear bottle. See if Calvin Klein still make Obsession.
Joe (Co-host)
I. I could have swore. I could have swore it was burgundy. Like.
Ocho (Co-host)
Like, hey, one more Versace. Versace. It come in a. Because they got so many. They got one in like a. Like a. It's like a blue. It's like a blue bottle. Five.

Ocho (Co-host)
If you plan on being around anything like that. I make sure.
Shannon Sharpe
I definitely will.
Ocho (Co-host)
I'll make sure we got our feet on the wood, you know, we'll be good.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, hey, hey, hey, Joe, look. Listen, listen, listen, listen, listen.

Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings. My. One of my favorite shows growing up was Hee Haw, Hee Haw. Buck Owens, Roy Clark, Ben. Coach Ben was great. I've known Ben a long time. I met Ben in college. I was a year. I'm a year older than Ben. So my sophomore year, Ben would have been, well, my freshman year. So the end of my freshman year, they. They recruiting. Being the only guy that I've ever. That I've ever shown around campus, you know, did anything. Told him what it's like. So now I know they're going to move me to tight end, because the tight end at the time, he's gonna flunk out. We know that. Coach Davis already informed me, say, hey, son, I want you to go out here, do your thing, wide receiver. But probably we're going to end up moving you to tight end if we can't find anybody, if we can't get anybody out of high school. I said, okay, coach, cool.
Joe (Co-host)
No problem.
Shannon Sharpe
I had played tight end my senior year in high school, so I had played tight end before. It was All State tight end, so no problem. So I'm walking around being. I was like. I said, what? You know, because at the time, I didn't know what position he played. He's like, I'm a tight end. I said, really? I said, okay, that's good. I said, what you trying to do? He said, man, I'm. I want to go somewhere I can start. I said, don't come to Savannah State. I said, they moving me to tight end, and you can't beat me out. He went to Livingston. Ask him, y', all, hey, as big. I told him, I said, if you want to start, don't come to Savannah State because you can't beat me out. He went to Livingston, and we both end up in elite. He went to five promos, I went to eight. We was on the. The Pro bowl roster from, like, the mid-90s. If you in the AFC, you weren't going to the Pro Bowl. We had. We had that thing on lock from, like, night. From like, 90 90. From, like, 93 through 98. You weren't going. Jared Ward Watson made a post Working out with Jerry. Judy, what do you think? He didn't play hard for Sanders. If you watch the tape, you can clearly see he didn't give effort with the bag he got. Look, all I know is that Watson, they paying Watson a lot of money. And if he's healthy, he's going to have every opportunity to start. It all depends on how soon. Because everybody's starting scratch from scratch. Ocho. Because this is entirely different offense, so nobody has an upper hand. J Dub, Akron. I remember Monday night game when you were miked up against the Steelers. You told Holmes he was the weak link and he was slipping over the middle. Yeah, he did. He called me slipping. Did you, Earl Holmes ever talk about that later? No. I told him, I said, you the weak link. We gonna take advantage of you. I said the other guys, they good. You. I think
Joe (Co-host)
Earl from Miami. Huh? Ain't Earl from the crib. Ain't from Miami.
Shannon Sharpe
No. Yeah, I think they had. I think they had Peasy and Gilden. I think that was the starting linebackers.
Ocho (Co-host)
But outside Peasy was there.
Joe (Co-host)
Yeah. Okay.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah. Hell yeah.
Ocho (Co-host)
And.
Shannon Sharpe
Cause inside I think they had. What's her boy name? Kendra Bell.
Joe (Co-host)
Hey, boy, he can hit. Boy.
Shannon Sharpe
Boy, Kendra Bell drop boy.
Joe (Co-host)
He can hit. Hey, Kendra Bell. Every. They always buckling tackles, pulling guards and stuff. Kendra Bell and Brandon Spikes. You ever seen. You remember Brandon Spikes?
Shannon Sharpe
I do. Brandon. Brandon. I remember Spikes.
Joe (Co-host)
Yes. Man, this was a load and they buckle. Everybody. Everybody. I don't care who it is.
Shannon Sharpe
Yep. New York cooling. Who's winning the quarterback battle in Minnesota? I personally think Kyler Murray.
Ocho (Co-host)
I do too.
Shannon Sharpe
Pappy Ray. What's up y'?
Joe (Co-host)
All?
Shannon Sharpe
What's the best all time sports moment you've witnessed live at a game before? Does All Star Game. Because I was at the All Star Game when Josh Hamilton had put on that show at Yankee Stadium. That might be the best moment that I've seen.
Ocho (Co-host)
When. When was that? The Lakers lost to the Pistons.
Shannon Sharpe
2004. It might have been three. 2000-2003-2003-2003, 2199-2000-2001-2003.
Ocho (Co-host)
No. My, my. Before I got drafted that summer, being in la, I went and watched Philly play against the Lakers when AI scored
Shannon Sharpe
that 50, that 50 something 48 and stepped over fish.
Ocho (Co-host)
Game one.
Shannon Sharpe
Yeah.
Ocho (Co-host)
Yes.
