How was your weekend? Did you have a good weekend?
Guest 1
Oh, yeah. You know, hung in there. It was fun.
Haley
Good.
Guest 1
Yeah.
Haley
What did you do? Nothing.
Guest 1
Yeah, a whole lot of nothing. That's exactly what I did. Played a little guitar, tried to ride and finish up some music. So that was, you know.
Haley
Okay. You played guitar, I played golf. It's a good weekend. Ghee, how was your weekend?
Guest 2
It was good as well.
Haley
Okay, we're low energy here today. We got to turn it up. We might need some blackout coffee in a little bit. All right. Hunter Biden has spoken. I don't know who let him out of the house. I don't know who let him do an interview, but he's spilling the beans about his drug use and his father's drug use, for that matter. We're going to get into it. Plus, the disgraced Andrew Cuomo threatens to move to Florida if he loses the NYC mayoral race. Governor Ron DeSantis says, Not so fast. Plus, I've got a lot of sports stories today. I know that you're not really used to that from me. I kind of. My last job, I used to talk about sports a lot more, but I'm. I'm bringing it to Nightly Scroll. So we've got the Washington Whatevers, as President Trump likes to call them. We've got WNBA players demanding more money. We've got N. Nike's viral social media post of Scotty Scheffler and his son, and so much more. Put your phones on. Do not disturb. Nightly scroll starts now. I just saw someone in the chat say this is their first time making it to a live show, so welcome. 6:00pm Eastern Time live is the greatest way to watch Nightly scroll, in my opinion. It's more fun that way. But let's get into the Hunter Biden stuff. So Hunter Biden did an interview with Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan. I know it sounds legit. It is legit. It's not a legit news station, but it is a popular YouTube channel with more than 3 million subscribers. And Hunter Biden spilled the beans on a few different topics. You know, the FBI announced at the end of May that they were Reopening the investigation into that baggie of cocaine that was found in the White house back in 2023. Hunter brought that up in this interview. Here's what he has to say about it. Watch.
Hunter Biden
I think they're opening up an investigation to cocaine that was found in a cubby outside the West Wing of the White House.
Guest 1
I think it was Don Jr. Oh, you're talking about old White House.
Hunter Biden
Yeah, when my dad was there.
Guest 1
Oh, so they blame. They just got to blame you automatically.
Hunter Biden
Yeah. I mean, they're literally going to do an FBI, another congressional investigation because they've convinced themselves that it had to be me, that there was a little tiny. And my. Is my point of even bringing it up is that, no, I have been clean and sober since June of 2019, and I have not touched a drop of alcohol or a drug. And I'm incredibly, incredibly proud of that.
Guest 1
And why would you bring cocaine to the White House?
Hunter Biden
Why would I bring cocaine to the White House? Stick it into a cubby outside the Situation Room in the West Wing when I wasn't there anyway? Like, I mean, this is the most. Who the fuck knows?
Guest 1
And politicians, I mean, they do. They do blow. Right?
Hunter Biden
I testified before the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committee. It was a whole big family shindig on the Republican side. All of them showed up, from Marjorie Taylor Greene to Lauren Boebert to Matt Gates to, You know, they're all sitting there now. None of them had the guts, except for a couple at the very end, to ask me any questions at one point in the seven hours that I was being deposed, and which, by the way, I demanded that they do it in public. And they refused. And the reason is, is because they're morons. Matt Gates, of all people, was giving me about my drug use. I said, really? All the people of his table, you're going to talk to me about my addiction, my alcoholism? And I said, how many of you have had your own experience with alcoholism and addiction? Because I knew at least four or five people in that room on the Republican side that were in recovery. And I knew of three that have been accused credibly of being drug users. And I knew that every single one of them had somebody in their family that was. That was absolutely facing a serious drug problem.
Haley
Other people dealing with family issues and drug problems has nothing to do with Hunter Biden. So I don't really know why he was bringing that up. He was being investigated because he got a firearm while he was on drugs. So this is about Hunter Biden. I Don't know why he's trying to pass the buck here. I will say, in the grand scheme of all of the investigations that need to be done, this is very low on my list. I really don't care about whose cocaine it was. Is it possible that it's under Biden's? Highly likely. If it was, I don't care. I mean, he was a drug addict. We know that. So if he's a drug addict doing drugs at the White House, that tracks for me. Not as scandalous as the tranny who flashed his boob job on the front lawn, in my opinion.
Guest 1
I think that was a little more scandalous about that.
Haley
Yeah, that's, that was way more inappropriate, I think. Not that I am condoning drug use at the White House, but I think people need to realize how many politicians and how many staffers are probably doing hard drugs. Again, I'm not condoning it. I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying it's probable. They work very long hours. They have to keep up with President Trump, who's the Energizer Bunny. And these people are not built like President Trump. So I think that it's probable that a lot of White House staffers are doing blow.
Guest 1
I think, like, you're right. It's not a, it's not a surprise. I think, like, what was the frustrating point is, like, how do you get that in there? That's the, that's the question mark to me is how do you get, how do you get that?
Haley
People who have clearances who don't need to be, you know, they walk in with their pocket, it's in their briefcase. I don't, I mean, this is like, I don't think that this is scandalous at all. I mean, if they want to open in the investigation and get to the bottom of it, I'm all for it. I just feel like if it was, if we find, if they go through the whole investigation, we find out as Hunter Biden, everyone's just like, yeah.
Guest 1
We wasted some time, right?
Haley
And then if it's not Hunter Biden and we find out that it's some low level staffer that, you know, needed a bump to keep up with Trump, I also don't care. I just. A bump. A bump to keep up with Trump.
Guest 1
So, man boo. Bump. A bump to keep up with Trump. So man boobs on the lawn.
Haley
Man boobs on the lawn was way more scandalous, in my opinion, than a bump for Trump. That's. With that being said, talking about all this drug talk. Joe Biden, apparently, according to Hunter Biden was on drugs during that infamous debate appearance where he really pooped the bed and Trump ran away with it. Watch this.
Hunter Biden
I know exactly what happened in that debate. He flew around the world, basically, the mileage that he could have flown around the world three times.
Haley
Yeah.
Hunter Biden
He's 81 years old, he's tired as shit. Give him Ambien to be able to sleep. He gets up on the stage and he looks like he's a deer in the headlights. And.
Haley
Again, he's 81 years old and you and your family pushed him to run a second time. I, the, there's no one else to blame but the Bidens themselves for putting their old father, grandfather in that position. They decided to do that to him. Joe Biden said, I'm going to run for president again. I just don't feel bad. And yes, it is a job that requires a lot of energy. Not a lot of people can do it. That's why the American people said we don't think that Joe Biden could do this job. And they pushed them on us anyway. It's just, and then let's get into the ambient of it all because it doesn't make sense. He's flying around, he's tired. So you give him Ambien. Like, I don't like, what is that argument? If he's tired, if he's old and he's tired, why would he need, well.
Guest 1
He needs some speed, adrenaline to the heart.
Haley
Yeah. And honestly, I mean. Yeah. No one's questioning that. So that's crazy because if he's 81 years old, he's flying all around the world. I, I, why would he need help falling asleep? I mean, and again, a lot of people need help falling asleep. This isn't crazy to me. I saw someone in the chat say that a President of the United States shouldn't be on Ambien, but a lot of people are on, are on Ambien. And I think as long as it's being monitored, I, I think it's probably okay. As long as you're not abusing it, I think it's probably okay.
Guest 1
But I think I got it.
Haley
It's a hard drug.
Guest 1
I think I've solved the, the mystery.
Haley
Okay.
Guest 1
I think that what happened was after his mid afternoon nap, he needed, it was hard for him to go back to sleep in the, in the evening. That's, well, that's what I think happened.
Haley
That doesn't make sense though, because you, if he took his nappy in the middle of the day, he'd be able to wake up for the debate then.
Guest 1
Wow, naps make you draggy.
Haley
Here's the thing. During Joe Biden's speeches, remember he would get that like kick in the pants and he would just start yelling. He would stare in the camera and then he would like whisper a little bit like, come on, guys. And then he would start screaming. I think that that was drug fueled. And a lot of people used to speculate that he was on some kind of a cocktail of drugs that would wake him up and get him through the day. And I mean, leave it to Hunter Biden to blame Joe Biden's poor debate performance on drug use. This is the first time we've ever, we've ever heard of that. But the Internet, the interview weirdness doesn't stop there. Here is Hunter Biden dropping F bombs while advocating for illegal aliens. Watch this for someone.
Hunter Biden
Am I going to be like all these Democrats say you have to talk about and realize that people are really upset about illegal immigration. You, how do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you have food on your table? Who do you think washes your dishes? Who do you think does your garden? Who do you think is here by the sheer just grit and will that they figured out a way to get here because they thought that they could give themselves and their family a better chance. And he's somehow convinced all of us that these people are criminals.
Haley
He said he's been sober since 2019 and I truly hope that he is, but this interview isn't helping his case. I'm just gonna say it's a lot of erratic behavior. Very angry. But yeah, this, this comment about illegal aliens, it's very reminiscent of the Kelly Osborne moment on the View when she said, well, who's gonna clean your toilets, Donald Trump, if you deport all these illegal aliens? Which is horrible. That did not land well, because that's a horrible thing to say. And Hunter Biden is essentially peddling this exact same narrative. And the Democrats keep peddling this exact same talking point that we must import cheap labor, we must allow people to seek asylum and cross the border to work here to do the jobs that Americans won't. They claim that the economy will just absolutely collapse without illegals cleaning toilets and washing dishes, which is absurd. But business owners are hiring illegal aliens, paying them next to nothing. It's modern day slavery and Democrats are advocating for it. These are the same people that claim all the time. They love to claim the party switched, the party switched because Republicans will always say, well, we're the ones who freed the slaves. And they'll say, the party switched. Meanwhile, they're the ones advocating for slavery. Oh, man, it's insane. And they are. They're also advocating for illegals to come here and get SNAP benefits. They don't save us money, they cost us money. Sanctuary states are hemorrhaging money. California and Minneapolis and Minnesota, for example, they are offering billions of dollars in free health care for illegals. And we've seen this in New York City. Free phones, free hotel rooms. I can assure you all our economy won't collapse if we get rid of all of these unnecessary costs. Again, I always say this. This is my solution. I would never, ever take this to the bank. Never run for office. I'm not claiming that I have all the answers. I just like to complain about them. But I think that every family on snap, every homeless person, put everyone into the jobs that illegals had. If you deport illegals and there are job openings, put every family that needs government assistance, every homeless person, homeless veterans, anyone that needs a job, force them to fill those jobs. That's what I would do. I guess that's really not free, but if you're getting free benefits from the government here, work for them. That's. I mean, that's my opinion. I also want to know, was anyone consulted about Hunter Biden's appearance on this YouTube channel? Did he tell anyone? Does he have handlers? Did he have to tell his mom and dad? Did he have to? Like, it just seems odd that he would go on this show. Why? I think that Hunter Biden should probably stay out of the limelight forever, but at the same time, he's got legal bills to pay. He's dropping lawsuits against the journalists, and that exposed the Hunter Biden laptop because he can't afford to pay the legal fees anymore. He's like millions of dollars in the hole.
Guest 1
So one question, too, involving any of this stuff that's going on right now with Comey and Brennan and any kind of. Maybe this pot, this guy's not going to ask any kind of in depth, interesting question like that.
Haley
Well, it doesn't matter. Hunter Biden was willing to give it all up for free.
Guest 1
That's what I'm saying. But, like, he. He needs to be quiet so we don't have to plead the Fifth.
Haley
I know, dude, I know, but that's what I'm saying. Like, who let him go do this? I think maybe he's planning on getting some press so that maybe more exposure Will prompt more art sales because he has to make money to pay for the lawyers. But someone in the chat said, I guess Hunter has never had to clean his own toilet. I wonder who cleans the Biden's toilets. They're so adamant that we need illegal aliens to do it. Maybe that's pretty telling. Who are they hiring? Makes you think. I do want to get to a story. This is very sad, but there is a Border Patrol agent who was killed by a. An illegal alien. Wait, I don't think he was killed. I think he might be in critical condition. We're going to have to pull up the DHS post. Don't hold me to that. We're going to get into it. But there. There's an illegal alien who shot a Border Patrol agent. And that illegal alien was released under Joe Biden. Caught and released under the Biden administration. So let's pull up the DHS post. We'll read more into it. I might have misspoke there. It says on the evening of July 19, the U.S. customs and Border Protection officer was shot in what looks like an attempted robbery. The officer, who was off duty at the time, is currently in the hospital in stable condition. So I apologize. I did misspeak there. He did not die. He got shot and he is in stable condition. Thank goodness. But the alleged perpetrator was an illegal alien with prior arrests for felony, second and third degree assault and an order of deportation. Wasn't deported, though, because of the Biden administration. Totally insane. He was a citizen of the Dominican Republic, released into the country, into the interior by the Biden administration because he was apprehended in 2023 after crossing the border near Arizona. So this was completely preventable. And thank God this agent is in stable condition, expected to survive. These stories make you wonder why Democrats jump to defend these people. They claim that they're innocent asylum seekers. These are families who want a better life. Meanwhile, they're out here robbing people and assaulting people. It's crazy. And to answer that question, it's that the Democrats are very easily duped. Activists were duped into supporting this woman who claimed she was kidnapped by ICE agents. But she all made it up. This wasn't true at all. Here's the headline at a town hall. Illegal alien charged for staging a kidnapping and attempting to frame ICE I. This is ballsy. I will say this is very ballsy. She is. There is a fine line and she's walking it. I'm just going to say that this is an illegal alien from Mexico. She Pretended that that ICE took her and kidnapped her in a Jack in the Box parking lot. Has she not learned anything from Jussie Smollett? I don't know. These hoaxes don't ever work out.
Guest 1
Well, that's even worse because, like, those border patrol agents have body cams and all kinds of stuff. It's like, you know, that's Jesse Smollett was in the middle of a snowstorm in Chicago in the middle of the night.
Haley
He also framed two random dudes that he paid on the side. Not police officers.
Guest 1
Police officers.
Haley
Hello. So this kidnapping involved a fake press conference, a fake police report, and a GoFundMe, of course, because you need to have a GoFundMe. All the leftists, they love it. GoFundMe now has been completely ruined by leftists and these fake, these fake scenarios that they, they drum up.
Guest 1
It's fake causes.
Haley
It's totally insane. So anyway, after this woman claims that ICE kidnapped her, she was found roaming free. So the Los Angeles Police Department legitimately was searching for her as a missing persons because everyone was convinced of her lie that ICE had kidnapped her. So by the end of July or middle of July, Los Angeles, they closed the missing persons case because she was found totally insane. She claimed that bounty hunters, people who were. It was unidentified men in ma, unmarked vehicles, wearing masks, had kidnapped her. So this was very easily debunked because the Department of Homeland Security said that they found her, her phone was on her the entire time she was using it. Then she was found roaming the streets, which the kidnapped people don't do that. They're not usually found roaming the streets.
Guest 1
No. And, you know, I mean, criminals do this all the time. When you commit a crime, leave your phone somewhere other than your pocket. I mean, it makes no sense.
Haley
It's so dumb. And this is also very easily debunked because ICE knew that they had never arrested her. So, no, we did not arrest her.
Guest 3
Why?
Haley
I. I just have a lot of questions. Why would an illegal alien draw this much attention to herself? If you want to stay in this country illegally, why would you want law enforcement officers to go find you if you claim that you're missing, you claim that you were kidnapped, authorities are going to come looking for you. Why do you want authorities to come looking for you if you're illegal and you're trying to fly under the radar? I mean, what was she expecting? I guess she was expecting attention and money, which she got from these moron Democrats who put out press releases and, and the GoFundMe totally embarrassing. This is what I like to call expert level retardation, because you do have to be an expert level retard.
Guest 1
This is fafo with some special needs.
Haley
Yeah. This is insane. Totally insane. All right, I want to get into Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. She is claiming that Russiagate whistleblowers are just coming out of the woodwork. They're coming out in droves and accountability is coming. She was on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo on Fox earlier on Sunday. Listen to what she had to say.
Tulsi Gabbard
There's no question in my mind that this intelligence community assessment that President Obama ordered be published, which contained a manufactured intelligence document. It's worse than even politicization of intelligence. It was manufactured intelligence that sought to achieve President Obama and his team's objective, which was undermining President Trump's presidency and subverting the will of the American people. So, yes, next week we will be releasing more detailed information about how exactly this took place and the extent to which this information was, was sought to be hidden from the American people, hidden from officials who would be in a position to do something about it. And that's really the point here that I think is. Is most important. Maria, and you said it in your opening, accountability is essential for the future of our country, for the American people to have any sense of trust in the integrity of our democratic republic. Accountability, action, prosecution, indictments for those who are responsible for trying to seal our democracy is essential for us to make sure that this never happens to our country again.
Haley
Sounds good to me. So the DOJ confirmed earlier today that it has received Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's criminal referral related to these claims that Obama era officials manufactured and politicized intelligence to push the Russia, Russia, Russiagate narrative. And they released unclassified documents on Friday that show overwhelming evidence that then President Barack Obama and his national security team basically allowed all of this to happen, which we already knew. But I guess it's good that more details are going to be coming out about it. The skeptical, cynical part of me thinks that this is just supposed to make us all shut up about Epstein, like we mess up on Epstein. But like, here, take this, talk about this. I'm not saying that I'm not happy about it. I'm just saying.
Guest 1
I, I get the, I get the thought in the, in the, and the timing with that. But hey, I think like, this is, I was telling you, I think this is the biggest political scandal in the history of the country. Like this Is like, I mean, what was it, 68? Richard Nixon by far, put microphones in the. In the dnc, and that was, like, everything.
Haley
Right.
Guest 1
But this is.
Haley
This is way worse.
Guest 1
This involved the Democrat. This involved the dnc. This involved FISA warrants that they covered, that they covered up and lied about. And what Tulsi's doing is now trailing this. Not the FBI or the CIA. Tulsi's trailing this to the White House. And this is. This is huge.
Haley
Yeah.
Guest 1
And. And both stories, Epstein, and this one need resolve. But, like, this is unbelievable.
Haley
It's unbelievable. And, yeah, I'm not trying to sound negative. I am. I. I love that she's doing this. And, you know, when Gabbard said that accountability is necessary for the American people to trust in a Republican ever again, I wholeheartedly agree with her. We are salivating, waiting for prosecutions to take place. We are tired of hearing about wrongdoing after wrongdoing, after corruption after corruption, and we need to start seeing criminals face consequences. We've been hearing about Russiagate for years and years and years, and it just seems like, okay, now we have the evidence. Now, this isn't some conspiracy theory. Like, we have been knowing this the entire, like, for years. We've known this. So if they can actually use this information to put people in jail where they belong, then I'm all for it. The Democrats completely fabricated a lie about Donald Trump, and then four years later, they did it again with the intelligence community. They found 50 agents to say that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. This is why we need to see people go to jail, because if you let criminals get away with influencing elections, they will do it again. Twitter 1.0 blocked the new York Post story from being shared about the Hunter Biden laptop when it was true. 100% true. And polls show that the election would have gone differently if voters had known about it. So the Biden administration bullied big tech giants to spew whatever propaganda they were trying to push, whether it was Hunter Biden's the smartest guy I've ever known, or, uh, the vaccine is safe and effective. These are career media narrative manipulators, and it is high time that they are held accountable before they can pull something like this again, because they were able to convince people. People in this country are still convinced that Donald Trump was having strippers or whatever, peeing on him in Russia when he's a germaphobe, by the way. So there are people who believe this stuff. So they were able to force this lie on the American public. People are dumb. So they believe it, and people still believe it to this day. And then no one, no one is held accountable for that. So then these intelligence agents just feel like, well, great, we got away with that one. Let's do it again. The Bidens need help. Let's, let's go fabricate something and we'll help him get elected. Like, this is the way that it happened. So if no one goes to jail, whoever it is, the next time they'll fabricate something on JD Vance or Marco Rubio or whoever's next. Like, it just, it doesn't stop. So the buck has to stop with the Obama administration and the Biden administration and what they did and the, the Clinton campaign. Because if it doesn't stop, it's not going to anyway. Sweeping. Speaking of sweeping, truth under the rug, Democrats are still seizing the Epstein moment, if you will, to dunk on President Trump. And the hypocrisy is really glaring. So Jake Tapper asked Senator Amy Klobuchar why Democrats sat on Epstein when they were in charge. And spoiler alert, she doesn't answer the question. Watch this.
Amy Klobuchar
But it's true that the President says their Democrats didn't really seem to seem to do anything about the Epstein files throughout the four years of the Biden administration. I mean, she's laughing. Should you have you sit on the Senate Judiciary Committee? Senator Marsha Blackburn for years has been trying to get flight records and other information about Epstein released. And she seems to have been the only one on that committee trying to do so.
Haley
So the president blaming Democrats for this disaster. Jake is like that CEO that got caught on camera blaming Coldplay. Okay? Like, this is his making. What? First of all, she's laughing. Jake Tapper asks, if the Epstein files are so important, why didn't you do anything about it? Because the Democrat, I mean, it's obvious the Democrats only care because it's Trump now. But Jake Tapper is actually asking her, okay, so if you care so much, why didn't you do anything about it? Because your, your colleague, Senator Marsha Blackburn was trying to get all this stuff and, you know, no one was on her side. So what is it? She's, she's laughing.
Guest 1
I don't think that gap in her response was audio delay either. I think that might have been a little bit of like a wheels turn and trying to see how I can spin this question.
Haley
She's like, how can I bring up the CEO that was cheating on his wife? How can I bring up this viral moment for no reason.
Guest 1
Oh.
Haley
The reason why she couldn't answer the question because the truth would have been we would have, if Donald Trump was implicated. We would have investigated the Epstein files if Donald Trump, if we could have gotten Donald Trump. The reason Democrats are pretending to care about Epstein now is because the handling of this has been botched beyond belief. So unfortunately they can criticize the Trump administration for it. It's not Trump's fault. But you know, Pam Bondi kind of ruined it and then he goes out and then he says something about it and that's not good. So it's just this snowball effect that doesn't look good. And you know, Attorney General Bondi's binder fiasco and then over promising under delivering. The Democrats are seizing on this as a get Trump moment. I don't blame them. But it is hilarious to watch Democrats pretend to care about protecting children. This is why Amy Klobuchar is laughing, because Jake Tapper is calling her out on her shit and her hypocrisy and she can't, she doesn't have a good answer for why they didn't look into it because they didn't care. And she can't say that now. She can't say, oh, well, we didn't care then, but we care now. It's just very hypocritical when Democrats are the ones pushing for teachers to talk to children about sex and sexuality in third grade and below. They're pushing for mentally ill, potentially sexually confused children to use the bathroom in the locker room of their choosing, making women and girls uncomfortable. They're pushing the normalization of gender affirming care. That's what they call it. It's really mental illness affirming care for children that would render them big pharma experiments for the rest of their lives. None of the Democrat policies protect children. So do not believe a Democrat when they say they give one rip about exposing pedophiles. They don't. They don't. All right, I wanted to take a quick break to tell you about blackout coffee. Blackout coffee is the good stuff. This is what I drink in the morning. You should too. Use code Haley for 20% off your first order. I want to go into Cuomo and what he has said about moving to Florida. So Andrew Cuomo, of course, disgraced governor of New York. Now he's running for mayor, trying to revive his political career after he was totally disgraced. He left the office after MeToo movement stuff and accusations he killed everyone's grandma and grandpa in New York City during COVID Just absolutely horrible policy decisions. So he's trying to revamp his. His career and it's not going well because he lost the Democrat primary. Zoran Mamdani is the young, sexy, shiny socialist that all the liberals are obsessed with in New York City because Gen Z and millennial voters, Democrat voters, are trending very progressive. Biden and Harris were never progressive enough for them. They just voted for them because that was the only option. But they wanted to push Biden even further to the left on Palestine issues and things like that. And they were unhappy with Biden because he said that he was going to forgive their student loans. That was one of their socialist wish list items. And he never delivered on that. So it is no surprise that these very scary socialist candidates keep popping up, like in New York and in. Where is it? In Minneapolis, the mayor's race there. So this, this comes at no surprise to me. The left and the very progressive left, they hate America. So of course they want. They want candidates who hate America as much as they do. And the best way to ruin the country that we love so much is to vote in a socialist. So anyway, Cuomo loses the Democratic primary to Zoran Mamdani, and now he's running as an independent, which is just hilarious because he's taking the scenic route to losing. It's a scenic route, very expensive route, but he's going to lose. And, well, I shouldn't say that because I feel like he's going to have a lot of funding behind him. But I don't think the Democrats are going to vote for Andrew Cuomo. I think his career is as good as gone. But Andrew Cuomo made a remark over the weekend at a fundraiser in the Hamptons. Of course he's speaking to people in the Hamptons, because real people don't like him. So he has to speak to the people who are going to fund his campaign, essentially. So he's speaking to all these wealthy business donors in the Hamptons. And he said, it's all or nothing. We either win or even I will move to Florida, God forbid. That's what he said. I will move to Florida if Mamdani becomes the New York City mayor. And apparently, you know, he tries to crack this joke and the crowd of all these rich people, they start laughing. And Governor DeSantis weighed in on this because here's the New York Post article or headline about it that they posted. And Governor Cuomo, I'm sorry, Governor DeSantis, if you could scroll up so I can read his response there. He oh, maybe you don't have it. But anyway, Governor DeSantis said, don't even think about it. Don't New York our Florida do not New York our Florida don't do it. And that's, it's a saying that was popularized in 2020, really, when so many New Yorkers fled Cuomo's New York to come to Florida. That was the selling point for so many people was Covid and COVID 19 policies. You have to be vaccinated to go to a bar, you need to be vaccinated to go to a restaurant, you need to wear a mask in the gym. I mean, these were all Democrat doings. And it forced so many people who are living in New York like minded, level headed people out of New York to Florida, Texas and other places. I was one of them. I moved to Tennessee. I didn't want to live in New York anymore. It was dangerous and dirty and disgusting. I didn't want to live there. It was too expensive. There are rats everywhere. I was living in rats, rat infested, cockroach infested apartment. I lived in three apartments in New York City. All of them had cockroaches. Only one of them had rats. And I'm very clean, by the way. It wasn't my fault. I just want to say that. I just want to make that very clear. But Yeah, I like DeSantis response to this. Don't you dare come here.
Guest 1
Yeah, people in the chat don't think about how. I think he would, he would find Southern California beautiful. I think, you know, coastline, Malibu, all that. Just that just sort of screams Cuomo think he could, you know, he's got his heritage on the east coast and just go on out to the West Coast.
Haley
And I think it's funny that he said, God forbid, like, God forbid you had to move to Florida. That's where everyone's moving because of you. It's not so bad. All right, let's get into the sports stories, shall we? We've got a few sports stories. I'm going to try to get through them fast, that we can go through some of the scrolling time stuff, because I have some good stuff today. But the Washington Whatevers. That is what President Trump is calling the Washington Commanders, formerly the Redskins. And let's pull up his truth social post here. He's wrote about this quite a bit, and he said the Washington Whatevers, which is absolutely hilarious, by the way, should immediately change their name back to the Washington Redskins football team. There is a big clamoring for this. Likewise, the Cleveland Indians, one of the six original baseball teams with a storied past, are great Indian people in massive numbers want this to happen. Their heritage and prestige is systemically being taken away from them. Times are different now than they were three or four years ago. We are a country of passion and common sense. Owners get it done. President Trump has also threatened to essentially not make this deal happen for the stadium to be built for the commanders in D.C. so now this is the art of the deal. President coming in here. He's thinking like, maybe we can force this name change, which will be very popular amongst normal people, and that'll be a win for President Trump.
Guest 1
Haley. The stadium that the Commanders play in is deplorable. It's in Maryland, so it's, it's forever away. But it also had, like, the sewer pipes in the middle of the games bursting last year. So it's like, you know, poo water is flowing and it's just absolutely disgusting. They need a new stadium. And also, you know, the polling amongst even the Native American polls that were asked, they don't.
Haley
They don't care.
Guest 1
They didn't care at all.
Haley
So, I mean, they love it, as a matter of fact. So I have spoken to a member of the Wetzel family. So the Wetzel family, they are direct descendants of Blackie Wetzel, who is a Blackfeet tribe chief, and he is the inspiration for. Blackie Wetzel is the inspiration for the Redskins logo, the storied logo, the iconic logo. And they are descendants of that man who is pictured. He is literally the face of the organization. They feel snubbed. They feel like their Native American heritage is no longer acceptable because it offends white people. And that's the problem. White people, it's white liberal Karens, because these Front offices. And these woke corporations, essentially they cater to white liberals. They get offended by everything and they're the loudest. So corporations bend the knee to these cancel culture mob warriors. The companies, in my opinion, need to implement the cry it out method with these crybaby liberals. They're babies, so treat them as such. At some point they're going to cry, cry, cry. They're going to get over it and move on to the next thing. And then you can save a lot of money by not changing the stadium and the uniforms and, and all that.
Guest 1
Well, I mean, Kansas City, they're the Chiefs and they're in the NFL. Atlanta are the Braves and they're in baseball. So it's like you have, you have.
Haley
You have people get mad about the tomahawk chop with.
Guest 1
They do that in Atlanta and they do that in, they do that in, in, in Kansas City, you know, and so you still have a football team that is still the Chiefs and a baseball team that's still the Braves.
Haley
Right.
Guest 1
And it's like, I'm with Trump on this. Like people want it back.
Haley
It's so stupid. And it costs so much more money to change these names. First of all, can we just get, can we talk about the Washington football team interim name that they. Wasn't it the Washington football team? That's what they were calling it? Or the Washington Football Club or.
Guest 1
No, they were. They were the Washington football team.
Haley
Yeah. Who came up with that? Someone with two brain cells. Why even come, why come up with an interim name? Just leave them.
Guest 1
Wanted to buy a year before they invested all the money in a change of the mascot. But I promise you this, anywhere you go in the Washington Commanders, formerly known as the Redskins, are on the road and they're playing a game. The amount of merch, it's red that you see in the stadium, 98% of it is Washington Redskins gear.
Haley
It is. Of course it is. And this cancel culture crap will not be over until businesses, front offices, corporations, organizations stop capitulating to the mob. It's a lose, lose scenario. Because these liberals, it's like I said this on Newsmax earlier today. They are. If you give a mouse a cookie. Do you remember that book, the childhood book? If you give a mouse a cookie. I grew up on that book. If you didn't see. If you didn't grow up with it and you didn't read it. It's about a mouse in a house and the mouse asks for a cookie. And here's the warning. If you give the mouse a cookie, he's going to want a glass of milk and. And then he's going to want a napkin, then he's going to want a straw, then he's going to want something else, then he's going to want to take a shower, then he's going to want. This is the left. You give them a little bit and then it's not enough. So if you, if you give the cancel culture mob the win by being like, okay, the Washington Redskins are now the commanders. Now they're going to demand it all over the place. And they have been. We covered it on this show in Massapequa, Long Island. They have. They're trying to change all these Native American names. I'm from Long Island. We have a lot of Native American culture. All of our town names are Native American. I grew up right around Matinicok and, and Quag and Patchog. These are all Native American names.
Guest 1
Well, you live here now and it's the same thing.
Haley
Yeah, there's a ton of it. Yes, exactly.
Guest 1
That name changed happened in 2020. And that right in the middle of all of that George Floyd, crazy peer pressure. Yeah, It's a different game now.
Haley
It's a different game. And also, who's going to fight it? I think they're just, I think the front offices and these owners, they're maybe not going to do it or they're going to be hesitant to do it because it makes them look really dumb. But it was really dumb. I mean, I think we can all look back on the mask wearing and the black squares and all that and say, this is. This was a very collective, stupid time in our history. Like, maybe we should just erase it.
Guest 1
The Redskins have, you know, they had a super controversial owner and Dan Snyder, and he was booted out in 2023. So it's like a whole new leadership regime. They want a new stadium. You know, play a little ball here, no pun intended there. But like Trump, I don't. I agree with it.
Haley
Whole new thing. All right. Scotty Scheffler, of course, big win this weekend. And Nike put this on Instagram, people. I saw people calling it an ad. I don't think it was an ad. It was just a post on social media.
Guest 1
It's like a moment.
Haley
They have a lot of. They post a lot of these on social media. But if you're listening, not watching, you've probably seen it, but iconic photo of Scottie Scheffler on the green with his son. They're both holding on to his putter. And the text on the Screen says, you've already won. And the caption by Nike says, priorities unchanged. Another major secured. The winds keep on winning. I'm sorry, the winds keep coming on and off the course for Scottie Scheffler. And some conservatives were applauding Nike for posting this photo of Scotty and his son. They were trying to say that they've turned a corner on. You know, they. They used to have Dylan Mulvaney model leggings and sports bras for them, and. And now they have this pro family thing. I wouldn't call this a win. I don't think that Nike is done being woke and all of a sudden they're promoting family values. I would not give them that much credit. This is a very cute moment, but any social media manager knows that babies generally do very well on social media because they're cute. So social media team, this is a sports company. They seize the moment. This is a. It's breaking news. Scotty Scheffler wins and. And here's a cute moment with his son. There's a TikTok trend going on where people are listing all of the ways that they are rich. Not monetarily, but example, I'm rich because my parents are still alive and I get to see them for Sunday dinner. Or I'm rich because I'm surrounded by my best friends. So to me, this is Nike jumping on this social media trend that's going on right now, saying that, you know, yes, Scotty's a winner, but even if he lost, he'd still come home to his wonderful family, so he never really loses. It's very sweet, but I would not go as far as to say that Nike is ditching their woke ways to now promote the nuclear family. Not giving them that much credit. I'm just not. It's very cute, though. I mean, I. I love the moment. I'm not. I'm not crapping on it. I think it's very cute. I mean, it's got hundreds of thousands of likes and views, and I just. I'm not giving Nike that much credit. Shall we get into the WNBA of it all? All right, so women, female basketball players, the WNBA players, they wore shirts that said, pay us what you owe us. So if you want to pull this up here, we can see the visual. You've got Caitlin Clark, you've got Angel Reese. Don't ask me who the other ones are. I couldn't tell you.
Guest 1
Nobody knows. That's a. That was a shameless joke, by the way, over the weekend.
Haley
Yeah.
Guest 1
At the SB's yeah, nobody knows.
Haley
Well, he literally was like, that's my wife's friend. Thanks for clapping for her. You guys are idiots. But, yes, no one knows who they are. I know Caitlin Clark and I know Angel Reese. But it's very simple as to why women's sports are not equal to men's sports. The WNBA loses $40 million and the NBA keeps it on life support. It keeps them afloat. But this is all very simple. It's just Math. It's Economics 101. If you're not getting butt cheeks and seats and men are, that's not equal. You don't be. You don't deserve to be treated equal if you're not pushing merch and the men are, that is not equal. Most importantly, if you are not gluing eyeballs to the TV and men are, that is not equal. Everything in the entertainment industry and in this business is driven by ad dollars. If nobody is watching your product, nobody is being influenced by the ads and commercial breaks or the ads that you see on the court or on the uniforms, the sponsors, etc. So if you don't make money, you can't demand raises. And it's not that women's sports can't be exciting and they can't be talented in their own right, but when it comes to the dollars incentive and all, it's not equal. The men are just more fun to watch. They get more eyeballs. Women don't even support women's basketball. I don't watch women's basketball. We're not into it.
Guest 1
What is could possibly be the solution when you lose $40 million a year and want more money? Luka Doncic is getting ready to sign an extension with the LA Lakers if he could. It could be. It could potentially be like a four year, 229 or $30 million contract. Okay, what do these ladies expect? Like, I don't. Hey, listen, give me an idea. You want to get paid more? Give me a. Give me an idea.
Haley
Give me something.
Guest 1
What are you. What are you talking about?
Haley
What are you bringing to the table?
Guest 1
Yeah, like 150 more grand a year. Or are you talking like you want to get paid equal? You want. Caitlin Clark wants a four year, $229 million deal?
Haley
Well, what they're saying is, pay us what you owe us. What they should be saying is, pay us what we're worth. And I think they are. They are paying them what they're worth. Why would any business flood money and resources into something that's not giving them anything back? In return, that is bad business. But the NBA does it because it looks good for them. And it would look really bad if they did away with the wnba. So they fund this ball and chain. And now what WNBA players should be doing is not just demanding more pay for subpar viewership, but proving to the people that you're fun to watch. And the only woman who can say that she's doing anything on that front is Caitlin Clark. I wouldn't even give it to Angel Reese. People are not. If there wasn't a rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese from college, no, no one would be watching this at all. So basically, if not for Caitlin Clark, no one would be watching it. There's just no way.
Guest 1
But Caitlin Clark also has a substantial amount of money from ad revenue like State Farm and other stuff going on. And so there's potential for these ladies to make money and other. Other avenues. But, like, what does equal pay mean in this? I mean, it's not equal, but it will never, ever have the potential to monetarily in a. From a business standpoint, it never will ever.
Haley
No, it won't. All right, let's get into some scrolling time. Someone in the chat said Haley's dropping sports knowledge. I like it. I barely have sports knowledge. Okay, we got.
Guest 1
We can do a sports segment here. Coming. I think the chat needs to needs a sports segment.
Haley
I know what I know. I'll say that I would rather play sports than watch sports or talk about sports. So, like, I like sports in that I like playing them. I'm athletic, but I don't really like watching other people play sports.
Guest 1
Well, I don't think a lot of people like watching the wnba.
Haley
Yeah, exactly. I'm not alone in that. All right. I love a good plane controversy and I found a very entertaining video of this man who just would not shut up on a plane. Watch. Yeah.
Lil Nate
You're literally pissed off your customers. Shut the up. Take those glasses off. You don't even deserve to see.
Haley
You don't even deserve you just expecting.
Lil Nate
All your believe I bought the scene, bro. Call the police off them up. You guys mess with the wrong one. You guys with the realest person on the east coast. Like I'm doing the future of Kodak black. I'll on all you guys. I'm taking off in five minutes for everybody's getting off this planet and I'm giving money for everybody. I'll y' all up like go ahead and call the police. Like so my worries. You think I give a call them in here. I packed It. It's in my suitcase. Can you get that from under the plane? If someone grabbed you guys gotta make it up to me. If you just grab that from under the plane real quick, I'll shut the up. I'm just trying to go to sleep at this point and charge my phone. Like, if I get a text and I miss it, I'm up. I do. You should be helping me by now, dude. I'm all up, dude. I'll do this all night, bro. I'm not shutting up till I get a core, bro. Literally.
Haley
How many drinks did he have? How many airport margaritas? How many airport mimosas? How many airport old fashions?
Guest 1
Never should have gotten on 100 airplane. There should have been 17 ladies pulling him from that jetway.
Haley
And where are the flight attendants? I didn't see any. He's just got free reign to stand up, walk through that. He's telling someone, I'll you up in the back. He's walking up threatening people.
Guest 1
We don't even get an indication of who he's talking to.
Haley
He's not talking to anyone.
Guest 1
I was waiting on him to teach people how to put their masks on.
Haley
So why? So why? What was he upset about? He didn't have a phone charger.
Guest 1
From what? From the research I've been able to do, I think he was pissed because he didn't have the means to charge his phone because it was under the plane in his bag. And if you missed the text. Because he's the biggest deal on the East Coast. If he missed a text, it would have been bad news. Well, because his boss needed to hear from him.
Haley
Here's why. He's a big deal on the East Coast. This is what one of the comments says. FYI, he's. Oh, you can't see it. I think it times out because I always start it. Maybe it only does it for like an hour. FYI, he's an NC rapper who goes by Lil Nate. Look him up on YouTube. We might need to do that.
Guest 1
I'm doing it right now.
Haley
See what his rapping sounds like. Why does he sound like he's gonna cry? He reminds me of Jonah Hill and Superbad. This is actually really dangerous because they just mess with the realest person on the East Coast. Bro is making way too many threats on an aircraft. Totally true. He said, bring the cops here, I'll F them up. That is not something that I would say on an airplane. For sure. These people have no fear of being put on a no fly list.
Guest 1
I guess you have seen Internet videos of people talking like this, and then they get ambushed and like, he's lassoed out of there. This guy was given the State of the Union on this plane and no one is around.
Haley
No, I know. No, he. Someone in the chat or someone in the comments said, who is he even talking to? Nobody is responding to him. And someone said, he's speaking in fluent fratnese. I agree. All right, I want to get to this next video because this has gone massively viral in the past few days and I needed to cover it. So this. Maybe this will be the last one that we covered today, but this woman has gone massively viral for spending seven hours in a Target and stealing a bunch of items. Here is just the highlights from this video. Watch. Where do you live? India.
Hunter Biden
Negative.
Haley
This has been the store we've been watching for at least four hours. She's taken a ton of merchandise, different kinds.
Amy Klobuchar
We're getting a total right now.
Haley
For you, it'll be well over 500, I'm sure.
I
No, it will be more.
Haley
You're right.
Guest 3
You don't have any sort of Illinois id, anything like that.
I
I'm not from this country.
Guest 3
Okay, look, there's a lot of people who aren't from this country still have stuff that's simply not going to happen. You don't get to have that choice anymore. You made lots of poor choices today, and now you have to pay for the.
I
He's not going to put me in the station.
Guest 3
Well, that's not. He doesn't work for us. I don't know who this man is.
I
Please don't. Please don't embarrass me.
Guest 3
Ma', am, I think your own choices are going to embarrass you. It has nothing to do with me.
I
What do you want me to do?
Guest 3
Like you said, you're not allowed to steal in India either. Most places do not really appreciate themes.
I
Oh, course. I'm really sorry. I'm ready to pay for this.
Guest 3
That's. Again, I understand you're sorry. I know you're ready to pay for it now, but you didn't want to pay for it then, so I need you to give me your identification.
I
I'm really sorry.
Guest 3
Well, I need to wait for the receipt to see how much stuff you.
I
Stole, but don't at least use the word stole. I don't mind paying for it.
Haley
Okay, don't say the word stole, because I don't mind paying for it. She's really trying. She's like, I. I didn't steal. I'm very sorry. Very, very sorry. Very cooperative. She. She spent seven hours in this target. She collected thirteen hundred dollars worth of items in this target and she kept spending all day there taking the tags off of them. She was going to walk out with them. She attempted to walk out of the target with them and they caught her. She didn't go through the second double doors, just the first ones. And they. That man in the video said, we're sorry, you're coming with us. You're not leaving with all this stuff. And she's an Indian citizen. She said, she's not a citizen from here. She doesn't live here. She has family here that she was visiting or something. I thought it was hilarious when the cop, the lady cop said, are you allowed to steal in India? No. Yeah, I didn't think so. And, well, don't embarrass me. Don't embarrass me by saying I stole them. You stole them? You stole them. This is a felony. This is a felony. Someone, someone in the chat said she would have gotten away in California. And then someone else said, libs will release her probably. And this happened in a blue state. This was in Illinois. So we'll see. We'll see what happens. I'll stay on it for all of you and I'll let you know what happens. That is all that I have planned for you tonight. But I want to say that the Bongino army lost a good one. We lost producer Joe. He has sadly passed away. I never had the opportunity to personally meet him, but of course I heard his voice many times on the Dan Bondino show, felt his impact, and he will certainly be missed. So, Guy, if you want to say a few words, I think you should.
Guest 2
This is on. Hey, guys, this is Guy. If you don't know me, I was a producer for the Danna Bongino show and now for Vince and Nightly Scroll. And I just wanted to speak a little bit about my friend Joe Armacost, Producer Joe, who, like Haley said, passed away this weekend, Saturday, July 19th. Joe was the original producer for Bongino, and he was responsible for launching that show alongside Dan all the way back in 2016, way before I was ever here or any of us, as a matter of fact. And it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that without Joe's talents and contributions, none of us would be here tonight. When I came on board in 2021, Joe was one of the few people to welcome me to the Screw. He taught me a lot, not only about producing, but about life as well. He was a great professional and a great friend. And he'll be missed very dearly here. And I'm sure throughout the Bongino Army. Joe loved working on the Dan Bongino Show. And most of all, he loved you guys, the audience. So I'm going to sign off tonight with a clip in his memory. Joe Armacost, may he rest in peace.
Guest 1
Just want to thank everybody for hanging with us through the year, through the troubles, through the good times. But great, great audience. Everybody here loves to do this show. We love to do this show. And I want you to know that from the bottom of my heart.
