Hello and welcome to Nightly Scroll. I'm your host, Hailey Karenia. Hello to everyone in the chat, all my homies. If you want to join them, you have to do it on Rumble. I know we have some, maybe some new viewers on Facebook and X. Hello, Hello. But if you want to watch Nightly scroll in full, you have to do it on Rumble. That's where you can scroll with everyone. Live in the chat at 6pm Eastern time. If you can't catch us at 6, I get it. You can watch on Rumble whenever you want or on your favorite podcast platform. You can catch up tomorrow. So what do we have on deck tonight? Well, according to reports, Letitia James and James Comey are expected to be indicted soon. Something to look forward to. Hopefully we have some more details tomorrow and I'll go in depth, but I just had to, you know, start off the show with that little tidbit of good news. Something to look forward to, something to come in the days to come. So I'm excited about that. I'm sure everyone in the chat is as well. Plus, another act of political violence, this time directed at an ice facility inside what we know now. Unfortunately, lives were lost to our thoughts and prayers go out to them and to everyone affected. Just horrible. Jimmy Kimmel made his tearful return to late night last night. Were they crocodile tears or were they genuine? We're going to get into it. Then the man behind Trump's second assassination attempt tried to stab himself in the neck after being found guilty. I wanted to cover this yesterday and then I totally forgot. I think it was before the show and I made a note of it and then I skipped. Skipped past it. But have to cover that, of course. Camp mystic is set to reopen next summer after 27 campers were killed in those devastating floods. Are going to be opening a sister location. Then Jenner, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's daughter, Violet Affleck is masked up and extra jabbed and it shows she spoke at the UN we're going to play the video and point and laugh and then you only have a few days left to marry Your first cousin in Connecticut, they are banning it starting October 1st. I can't believe this is officially becoming illegal in 2025. But we're going to get into that and other strange laws that Andy has. For me, I ask, I tasked Andy with finding strange laws that we're going to. I'm going to blind react to them. So I'm excited for that. Put your phones on. Do not disturb. Nightly scrolls starts. So DHS put out a statement this morning. Unfortunately a sniper opened fire on a rooftop near a ICE facility in Dallas Is a Dallas field office. The shooter fired at the ICE building and unfortunately three detainees were shot. One is dead and two are in critical condition. The gunman also killed himself after that. This is not the first attack on this facility. Last month there was a bomb threat on the same facility. This is according to dhs. An unknown male. He was later identified. He is a 36 year old U. S citizen. He arrived at the Dallas field office and he claimed to have a bomb in his backpack. Thankfully, he was arrested and charged before anything happened. Then in July, there was a separate attack on the ICE facility in Prairieland, Texas, just 40 miles from this Dallas ICE facility. Ten people were arrested on attempted murder charges. They attacked the Texas immigration detention center. It was a planned ambush that left a police officer wounded when he was shot in the neck. So again, this is. We know that attacks on ICE agents are up over a thousand percent now. And the attacks aren't coming from our side at the political aisle. That's obvious. But Kristi Noem, the DHS secretary put out a statement earlier saying that and this was before there was a motive that was known. So this was earlier today. But she said there was a shooting this morning. Details are still emerging, but we can confirm there are multiple injuries and fatalities. The shooter is deceased. While we don't know motive yet, we know that our ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop. Please pray for the victims and their families. But we got a little bit more information from FBI director Cash Patel where he posted this on X with a photo of the bullet casings that had anti ICE written on them. But this is what he said in a larger post this morning. Just before 7am local time, an individual fired multiple rounds at Dallas, Texas ICE facility, killing one, wounding several others before taking his own life. FBI, DHS, ATF, all on the ground with Dallas PD and other state authorities While the investigation is ongoing. An initial review of the evidence shows an ideological motive behind this attack. See photo below. We'll show you in just a second, one of the unspent shell casings recovered was engraved with the phrase Anti ice. More details will be forthcoming. If you could scroll down there. Thankfully, Cash says that no law enforcement were killed. But unfortunately the lives of, you know, one detainee is taken. And we don't want anyone to die. Of course this is an act of violence and just because you break the law doesn't mean you deserve to die in a random attack. Of course, we are vehemently against this and we're against it on both sides of the aisle. I don't care if you're a Republican, Democrat, a criminal, not criminal. You shouldn't die in an attack like this. Of course, politically motivated it seems. But MSNBC says just because the FBI comes out and says one thing, don't trust the motive. So this is what he had to say. Watch.
Haley Karenia
You can't just assume by that, what was written on that shell casing, that that's necessarily his motivation. You know, he could have been doing that to, to, you know, thinking it was funny, trying to put law enforcement on the wrong track. This is where when you analyze the person's phone, talk to his family and friends, that you get an idea of what his motivation perhaps really was.
Show Host / Commentator
Okay, so we have to, we have to talk to the friends and family of the gunman before we figure out the motive. Even though the motive was written on the shell casings. We've seen this happen multiple times, right? We saw this with Charlie Kirk's assassin. We saw this with the trans killer at the Catholic school in Minnesota where they had these political messages, motives written on the shell casings and on their firearms in the case of the shooting in Minnesota. So anyway, MSNBC says don't listen to that, that, you know, just because the FBI says something, don't listen to them. So that's MSNBC's stance. They are also blaming the right.
Expert Analyst / Guest
Watch this, the writing. The first time we really saw that was Breton Tarrant in the Christchurch shootings, shooting in a mosque in New Zealand. And he was a fierce white supremacist and neo Nazi and wrote all over his weapon and his rounds. Very hateful information. So to see this coming from potentially the other side of the political spectrum is a little strange because it is not something, you know, if you are trying to, you know, carry out some kind of message countering, you know, more extreme right wing stuff, I don't know why you would, you know, use a tactic that a famous white supremacist who has been revered and copycatted over the years by other white supremacists. Why you would do that. But it does appear that people are moving in that direction because they want people to know what they're doing and why they're doing it. Again, terrorism is theater. They want people to understand their message and why they're doing so.
Show Host / Commentator
Christopher o', Leary, former FBI executive, senior, you know, so he's of course, an expert. It was. I wish you all could see us when he said, it's strange to see it from this side of the aisle. We all stared at each other like, what?
Andy
Say. Say that one more time. But say it as boring as you talk, please. That guy, the most monotone voice.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah.
Andy
Ever.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah, really boring. But anyway, also kooky. Keith Olbermann, he was calling for DHS Secretary Christine Ohm to resign over this. This is what he had to say on X. The victims were detainees in your care. They are your responsibility. Resign. And then tagged Secretary Noem. He's been on one lately. And when I say lately, I mean for the last, like, few years, but certainly lately.
Andy
Yeah. I mean, this guy's losing it.
Show Host / Commentator
Losing it. I mean, he would go after. I remember this was maybe like a year or so ago. He's going after Riley Gaines, saying that, you know, she's really not that good of a swimmer. And it's like, what are you talking about? Then it's like, what? He called for Scott Jennings. He said, you're next. CNN contributor Scott Jennings. He said, you're next MFer and tweeted @ him. And then, of course, he quickly deletes it after people tell him, like, hey, you're inciting violence against people on the other side of the political aisle. Like, maybe you shouldn't do that, Keith. And then, you know, he goes back on it like a coward. So anyway, he's back to his antics and, you know, he's acting like Christine Ohm should have been there, like, shielding with the illegal aliens with her own body, which I don't understand. Like, yeah, she's. They're in her care. Yeah. Like, I guess not really.
Andy
This guy was. This guy was good when he was with Dan Patrick on Sports center back in the late 90s.
Show Host / Commentator
And then a long time.
Andy
He must have. He must have tripped and fell and hit a curb. I don't know.
Show Host / Commentator
Too much Tylenol, I think. Little too much Tylenol. Keith Olbermann cut back on it. It's not good for you. But, yes, you know, Christine ome is the secretary, and this is a horrific attack on an ice facility with, you know, bullet casings found with anti ICE messaging on them. And the left still cannot figure this out because they refuse to. That's why they refuse to see that any of their rhetoric could have inspired these attacks of violence. It's always the Trump administration's fault. Christine Ohm, you should have used your own body as a shield to protect the detainees. Where were you? You know, people were saying this same rhetoric after Charlie Kirk's assassination. People were saying, like they saw that FBI Director Patel was out to dinner. What? He didn't know that this was going to happen. There are also FBI agents, field agents in Utah who were likely doing their job. And like, people just think that, you know, anyway, I think people have unrealistic expectations. And I would say the same for Biden's DHS secretary. Like, you can't be everywhere all at once. You know, I think that you should do a good job, but we're expecting perfection.
Andy
Yeah. I mean, realistically, you expect those top officials to pounce on being on top of the altercation when it happens and begin investigating. And I mean, obviously that's what happened fast this morning. But, you know, the Keith Olbermann is the kind of guy that the far left even looks at and is like, hey, dude, please shut up. Yeah, you're making us, you're making us all look bad on the far left.
Show Host / Commentator
But you know, it's not their own words and actions that have led to over an 1000% increase in attacks on ICE agents this year. Take a listen to this.
Haley Karenia
Every single ICE agent who's engaged in this aggressive overreach, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will of course be identified. This is not the 1930s secret police who are masked, who are intimidating, who are scaring people.
Expert Analyst / Guest
These Gestapo like tactics, this is Gestapo like behavior.
Show Host / Commentator
Donald Trump's modern day Gestapo is scooping.
Haley Karenia
Folks up off the streets. When you compare the old films of the Gestapo grabbing, grabbing people off the streets of Poland, it does look like a Gestapo operation.
Show Host / Commentator
You posted on social media that, quote, ICE is acting like a terrorist force.
Hillary Clinton
ICE agents, they are coming and kidnapping.
Show Host / Commentator
And disappearing people on the streets of the United States.
Haley Karenia
But this terror campaign of having masked people rolling up in vans, but we also have to talk about the agents themselves that are carrying this out. If you have any decency, quit now, because just doing what you were told has been the justification for some of the worst whores and crimes against humanity.
Show Host / Commentator
Mask agents of the state in unmarked vehicles are terrorizing communities. They are disappearing people.
Haley Karenia
One has to assume they're hiding something or they're hiding misbehavior, because otherwise why would they be wearing masks and denying their identities?
Show Host / Commentator
Everything aggressive overreach. They said 1930s. This is like the 1930s secret police. They use words like Gestapo and Nazi to talk about ICE agents sitting members of Congress. That was Pramila Jayapal saying that ICE agents are terrorists that are committing crimes against humanity. All for enforcing the laws on the books that the Biden administration refused to do. Remember, they made Trump out to be the bad guy for sending National Guard troops to LA after rioters got violent and were throwing cinder blocks at ICE agents and law enforcement. And then they wonder why ICE agents wear masks to shield their identity. Probably because they don't want people coming for them, doxing their families, hurting their families. But Vice President J.D. vance gave this powerful message earlier today, calling on Democrats to do better watch.
J.D. Vance
But when you go around and lie about our law enforcement and you tell them that they're mistreating five year old girls, what do you think is going to happen when Democratic politicians incur doxing? When they encourage us to unmask ICE enforcement officers? What do you think is going to happen when the Mayor of Los Angeles encourages violent protesters to get in the face of our law enforcement? What do you think is going to happen? What's going to happen is political violence. And political violence has gotten out of control in this country. We got to stop it. We got to condemn it. And that starts, unfortunately, at the very top of the Democratic Party. If you want to stop political violence, stop attacking our law enforcement as the Gestapo. If you want to stop political violence, stop telling your supporters that everybody who disagrees with you is a Nazi. If you want to stop political violence, look in the mirror. That's the way that we stop political violence in this country. And we got to do it. And while we're all mourning and rooting for and praying for everybody who was injured at that ICE position facility, and as far as we know, it looks like some of the detainees, in other words, some of the potential illegal aliens, were some of those who are affected. Look, just because we don't support illegal aliens, we don't want them to be executed by violent assassins engaged in political violence or either. So we're praying both for our ICE agents, but also for everybody who's affected by this terrible attack. But that was an ICE facility. And as these guys behind me know, and a few of our police officers know, police officers writ large face too many threats.
Show Host / Commentator
Spoken like the next president of the United States, in my opinion. And I'm looking at the chat right now, and so many people agree that they're saying, here, here, J.D. vance. J.D. j.D. For President 2028. Yeah, we need a leader who is going to actually say what needs to be said and not be afraid to do so, to call out and call on Democrats to actually do something about the rhetoric. Because they put out these lukewarm tweets every time something bad happens. They say, oh, well, you know, there's no place for political violence in this country. Blah, blah, blah. They all have the same playbook. I don't know if it's like the, you know, the DNC or something. They all got the same PR rep telling them, hey, you know, you got to write this whole thing out. And then they do. And then they go back to going on their hits on MSNBC and cnn and they're saying vile stuff about Republicans, VILE Things about J.D. vance and President Trump. So it's all lip service. And thankfully, we have a vice president who's man enough to call it out. Hopefully Democrats can get their you know, what together and start acting like leaders. But, of course, Jimmy Kimmel is the real victim in all of this, of course. And he is a victim of the consequences of his own actions. And Jimmy Kimmel Live made its emotional comeback last night. Watch this.
Haley Karenia
I don't think what I have to say is going to make much of a difference. If you like me, like me. If you don't, you don't. I have no illusions about changing anyone's mind, but I do want to make something clear because it's important to me as a human. And that is, you understand that it was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man.
Show Host / Commentator
I don't.
Haley Karenia
I don't think there's anything funny about it. I. I posted a message on Instagram on the day he was killed sending love to his family and asking for compassion. And I meant it, and I still do over the weekend. A very beautiful moment. I don't know if you saw this on Sunday. Erica Kirk forgave the man who shot her husband. She forgave him. That is an example we should follow. If you believe in the teachings of Jesus, as I do. There it was. That's it. A selfless act of grace, forgiveness from a grieving widow. It touched me deeply, and I hope it touches many. And if there's anything we should take from this tragedy to carry forward, I hope it can be that. Not this. So thank you for listening, and I'LL have more to say when we come back.
Show Host / Commentator
All right, Andy, you watched the show last night?
Andy
I did. I watched it, Yep.
Show Host / Commentator
You took one for the team, Watched Jimmy Kimmel live.
Andy
Yeah. No, I stayed up, watched it.
Show Host / Commentator
What do you think?
Andy
Well, I will say this, probably not. What disappointed me was he sort of scathed around saying, I'm sorry. Flat out says, I'm sorry. But 22 million Americans were impacted worldwide. Impacted by that act of forgiveness by Erica Kurt. I. I hope Jimmy Kimmel's heart isn't impervious to that. So I. I think that he could have been emotionally impacted by how all of it had played out and wish that he would just never made that joke, Never, never talked about it, you know, but he still should have said, I outright, without any equivocations, apologize to Turnpoint usa to the family. You know, my. My idea of trying to be provocative. I didn't even have all the facts. I jumped the gun. We shouldn't have said that.
Show Host / Commentator
Right.
Andy
But I do think it is possible to be emotionally moved by what? Listen, that's how you win people to the Lord, is display love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self control, like love. That's how you show the heart of. You know, we were displayed Erica. Erica Kirk's heart. So maybe I hope for Jimmy's case that that was something that was like.
Show Host / Commentator
Damn, do you think that the tears were real? Justin is shaking his head, saying, no.
Andy
Justin's like, absolutely, absolutely not. I hope that that moved him in a way, like it moved all of us because we were all moved to tears.
Show Host / Commentator
Absolutely. You know, him crying. When he started crying in the beginning, it seemed very fake to me, but I do think that he was moved when talking about Erica, which, honestly, is how most Americans felt watching Erica. I mean, I don't know. You could have a heart of stone. And I think if you watched Erica forgive her husband's murderer, you. You would feel something. And I think even Jimmy Kimmel felt something. And what Jimmy should have realized is that that emotion, that's how a lot of those same Americans felt when we watched Charlie Kirk get murdered. And conservatives will always fight for the right for you to tell jokes, whether they're insensitive or not. But a lot of Americans were grieving, and he took a political assassination, turned it into a joke to dunk on the president, which is insensitive. But that's also not why he was fired, which is why when he went straight back to his show, he went straight back to dunking on Trump. So watch this.
Haley Karenia
Fortunate to work at a company that has allowed me to do the show the way we want to do it. For almost 23 years, I've done almost 4,000 shows on ABC. And over that time, the people who run this network have allowed me to evolve and to stretch the boundaries of what was once traditional for a late night talk show. Even when it made them uncomfortable with which I do a lot every night, they've defended my right to poke fun at our leaders and to advocate for subjects that I think are important by allowing me to use their platform. And I am very grateful for that. With that said, I was not happy when they pulled me off the air on one. I did not agree with that decision, and I told them that. And we had many conversations. I shared my point of view, they shared theirs. We talked it through, and at the end, even though they didn't have to, they really didn't have to. This is a giant company. We have short attention spans, and I am a tiny part of the Disney Corporation. They welcomed me back on the air, and I thank them for that because.
Show Host / Commentator
I know.
Haley Karenia
That unfortunately, and I think unjustly, this puts them at risk. The President of the United States made it very clear he wants to speak. See me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from our jobs. Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can't take a joke.
Show Host / Commentator
Okay, so obviously he's back to his old tricks, right? But Andy is. Is part of the 6 million viewers that tuned in for his first show back.
Andy
And after that, after that bit right there, and he did this bit where he had Robert, you know, De Niro as the FCC person, because, I mean, it was just. That's when I. That's when I. Oh, never mind. Heart, heart. Potential heartfelt moment gone, right? Jimmy's back.
Show Host / Commentator
I'm right. Right back to his UltraX. But this is telling. I mean, everyone is saying, you know, Jimmy Kimmel gets 100,000 views. Will the picture of my, you know, hamster get more than that? You know, this, like, joke is going around on X. But this is telling because I feel like when it came to Stephen Colbert, like, I don't think he saw a bounce back quite like this. I think people really did, you know, people in, like, Holly weird circles, right. Kind of rallied around Jimmy Kimmel, of course, Democrats, because there was this, you know, free speech censorship narrative that they were pushing. This became more of a big deal for them. I mean, 6 million people tuning in to the first showback is a huge show. And not only that, it was not available in 23% of the company because of the Sinclair and Netflix blackout. Nextar blackouts. They were not carrying it on their affiliates. Their.
Andy
But this is a skewed stat, too, because so many people like me have Internet television that. That doesn't. That doesn't matter. I could.
Show Host / Commentator
His monologue. His monologue was posted. Well, those are the ratings that were reported.
Andy
Yeah, no, no, I know, but, like, what I'm saying is, like, people who live in places where Sinclair and NEXT are. We're not broadcasting. I mean, the amount of people that are ditching cable could have Internet TV. You know what I mean?
Show Host / Commentator
6 million is a big number. No matter how you slice it, that is a big number. And not only that, they posted this monologue about Trump and Erica Kirk and all that stuff on the show's official YouTube account, and that had 14 million views in just 15 hours. So people really have come and watched this. You know, I didn't. I watched clips on. On X. Like, like other normal people. I'm not trying to, you know, shame you for watching it, but I think.
Andy
The majority of this number. And they're saying it in the chat, I wanted to see if he would apologize.
Show Host / Commentator
Right.
Andy
I wanted to. I'm like, man, this is. This potentially could be a moment where there's some. An apology and more grace given, and then he can go on and be unfunny, and then the market will decide, right, if they want to dump him or not.
Show Host / Commentator
And to your point, you tuned out.
Andy
About 15 minutes in.
Show Host / Commentator
A lot of these 6 million are also going to tune out. I think a lot of people tuned in because it was like, oh, my gosh, he's back. And then all the people that weren't watching originally are going to go back to not watching him, and then the ratings are going to dip, and then, you know, it's going to be the same old story. So anyway, Hillary Clinton, she joined MSNBC, where she peddled the narrative that Jimmy Kimmel's suspension was all dictator Trump's fault. Listen to this. She's back.
Expert Analyst / Guest
So what you think of the bigger picture of what's happening around free speech, whether it's the message we hear from Attorney General Pam Bondi or the head of the fcc, the President United States, the vice President of the United States, about going after explicitly people they view as political enemies or opponents and silencing those voices. How dangerous do you view that moment to be?
Hillary Clinton
I view it as very dangerous. It is right out of the authoritarian playbook. Willie I mean, this is, you know, this is point four of the authoritarian playbook. Silence your opponents, cripple the media. That doesn't give you the slavish attention and agreement that you desire. Use the power of the government to go after corporations and individuals. I thought, you know, Jimmy Kimmel did an excellent job last night in, you know, being very emotional, actually, about that moment for him and how he felt misunderstood and he certainly didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But on the other hand, you know, know, standing up for free speech, I've said a million times. I mean, good lord, the things that have been said about me, the lies that have been propagated. If I had only known, I could call up the FCC chair and say, take this person off the air. Get that person out of my sight. Off with his head. I'm just looking at Joe.
Show Host / Commentator
What? Yeah, they are. They're getting this so wrong. That is not what happened. It's astonishing how they're getting this so wrong. President Trump did not get Jimmy Kimmel fired. Jimmy has to abide by certain rules, and he didn't. He didn't tell the truth on broadcast television, and his employer punished him temporarily. Jimmy is back, okay, on less networks, maybe less eyeballs over time, but he is alive and he has the right to do what he is doing. What Jimmy Kimmel experienced was not an infringement on his constitutional rights, but he learned that actions have consequences. And when you were a contracted employee of a company, they get to decide when to give you a slap on the wrist or even fire you with no warning. Unfortunately, Charlie Kirk will never be able to do what he loved ever again. He will never work again. He will never have the opportunity to speak his mind and touch the millions of people that he did again. That is why I cannot stand that Jimmy Kitmull is playing the victim and the left has turned him into their next martyr when the two cannot be compared. But with a rise in political violence, Hillary Clinton also had a very, very quick moment of self awareness. She was talking about how we have to stop the demonization. Even she's responsible. Watch.
Hillary Clinton
This raises a larger question. I mean, we have, and I include myself, we have got to stop demonizing each other. Now, I think most of that right now in our country's history is coming, you know, from the right, coming from people who want to dominate. They want their point of view, their, you know, writing out slavery from history. That doesn't make it go away. You know, we have got to stop with the finger pointing and the scapegoating we can have legitimate disagreements.
Show Host / Commentator
Right, right.
Hillary Clinton
I mean, how do you provide quality, affordable healthcare to everybody? Let's figure that out. How do you deal with what's gonna be job loss from AI? Let's get working on that. You know, that's what we should be doing. But we should do it in the truth based reality that we have to live in. You know, facts and evidence have to matter again, and then we can start having good debates. You know, when I was in the Senate for.
Show Host / Commentator
Stop demonizing the other side. Says the woman that called us a basket of deplorables.
Andy
All right, so this is what you have right now. This is what you have right now. Justin's.
Show Host / Commentator
What are you guys eating? They're eating dinner in there.
Andy
No, I love it. Yeah. So here, this is what's happening. You have. You have Kamala Harris going around the country making herself look stupider with a book tour on major networks. That dumpster fire is happening. And if you leave the door cracked open, Hillary Clinton for Hillary Clinton. I don't care if it's 100 years from now, she will dig herself up out of the ground and start talking about things, things that make her sound presidential. It's happening again. It's deja vu. It's happening again.
Show Host / Commentator
She's like a cockroach. She literally will not go away. You can try to kill her and she won't. And I, I don't mean kill, is like, don't take that literally. I'm not calling for her. Her to die. I'm just saying, like, she will not go away. Also, she said that Republicans are the proponents of all this hate speech and all this violence and stuff. Then she also randomly brought up that we're trying to rewrite history to erase slavery. What is she talking about? First of all, it's not relevant to the conversation, but like, what I've never read, I've never met a Republican that wanted to rewrite slavery, rewrite history, to erase slavery in my life. Like, we all admit that it happened and it was bad. What is she talking about?
Andy
She's just trying to be presidential. I mean, these are talking points that are on a huge checklist. It's about 30 subjects. She has them completely memorized. And she's going on any talk show ever.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah, like I said, though, you know, all these people, they say the right talking point, like, oh, we need to tamp down this violence. I can include myself. You know, she's making. She's making herself out to be the bigger person. You know, I. I'VE done this in the past too. Like, we can all do better about this. Something tells me that she won't actually stop. This is the sound bite that makes her look good in the moment. And we all know that Hillary Clinton is capable of casting out the, you know, 50% of Americans as a basket of deplorables and all the other nasty things that she says because she's a nasty woman. But, you know, neither will everyone, anyone else on the left. This is what they do and the problem will fester. And everyone keeps talking about how we have to like, turn down the temperature. Meanwhile, they're turning up the dial and it's hotter than hell in here and nobody wants to look in the mirror. I've said this before. Republicans call literal liberals idiots. All right, this is the headline that I wanted to cover off the top of the show yesterday. And I don't know where my brain was, but I totally forgot to even mention it. But the man found guilty of trying to assassinate Donald Trump at his Florida golf course last year. He, you know, this whole case is going on in Fort Pierce, Florida. He was found guilty. And after the verdict was read in court yesterday, in federal court, he attempted to stab himself in the neck with a pen. And people in the courtroom reported that his daughter was screaming out, dad, don't hurt yourself. He's. He's trying to kill himself. Someone stop him. And he was facing five charges. He was charged with attempted assassination of a major presidential candidate, assaulting a federal officer, possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. And he was found guilty on all counts. So he's going to be sentenced in December, December 18, to be exact. And he faces the possibility of life in prison. I think that's fitting for someone who tried to kill a presidential candidate and a former president of the United States, if you ask me. Speaking of justice, North Carolina legislature, they passed Arena's Law. You remember Arena Zarutska, the Ukrainian refugee who came here to flee a war torn nation and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina? She was savagely stabbed in the back of a neck by a crazed lunatic on the Charlotte light rail. This completely gripped the nation. Everyone felt so horrible for her and the state of our nation. You know, she's fleeing Ukraine. She comes here for a better life, and this is the life that she was given. So the North Carolina state legislature, they have called this Arena's Law. And it passed in the Senate, it went to the House and passed with an 81 to 31 vote. So now it heads to the Democrat governor's desk. And we don't know how it's going to go. But Arena's Law is a criminal justice package that will limit bail because, you know, this whole part of the story was that the crazed lunatic, schizophrenic, crazy Guy was arrested 14 times and let back out in jail, and let back out of jail. And, you know, you can't just post bail and then, you know, wreak havoc on society over and over again and not be held accountable. So this limits that. And it also makes sure that defendants like this guy actually gets evaluated for whatever mental health issues they have, because, you know, we talk about this all the time. The common denominator here is mental illness. And no one on the left really wants to talk about that because they just want to like push the anti gun lobby, you know, and their anti gun legislation. They just want to push gun control and all this stuff. Like that's the narrative that they keep pushing. But it's not the guns because law abiding gun owners don't do this. Like it is crazy people who do things like this. It is crazy people who kill other people for no reason. It is crazy people who stab innocent women in the neck on a, on a train. So you know, the bill also lays out that offenders should be examined for involuntary commitment. This is like a guy who probably would have benefited from someone saying this guy needs to be put away. And I know it's, you know, controversial to, you know, do that against people's will, but this is someone who is like so mentally incapacitated. I mean someone has to step in and do something for the better of society to make everyone else safe. So hopefully that passes. I think that would be just wonderful to especially you know, in her name because it was just a horrific story and you know, we were all were so moved by it. Not in a good way, in a, in a, you know, like a heart wrenching way. So you know, making change in her honor I think is really, really great. I also want to talk to you about Violet Affleck, Ben Affleck's daughter with Jennifer Garner. She's 19 and she was on the floor of the UN at the UN headquarters in New York yesterday. She was talking at the Healthy Indoor Air, a global call to action event. And she is a Yale University freshman and you know, she contracted long Covid and I guess is now telling everyone that they need to mask up. So listen to this.
Violet Affleck
For adults, the relentless beat of back to normal ignoring, downplaying and concealing. Both the prevalence of airborne transmission and the threat of long Covid. Covid manifested in a series of choices. Young people lacked real choice in the matter and information about what was being chosen for us. Here's what we know about SARS CoV2 it is airborne, floating and lingering in the air. One infection can result in deceiving damage to almost every cell in the body from the brain and heart to the nerves and blood vessels. Every subsequent.
Show Host / Commentator
I can't hear you. Take your mask off.
Violet Affleck
And places people who already have it in greater danger. Here's what we don't know is what it does to reinfect children over and over and over again with no end point in sight from the day they are born. We are about to find out. As Dr. Akiko Iwasaki says, at this point, the whole population is the control group. And after only five years long, Covid has surpassed asthma as the most common chronic illness in children. Five years. I am terrified for the children who do not or soon will not know a world without debilitating pain and exhaustion, who cannot trust their bodies to play, explanation, explore and imagine, and who will not know the potential of their own minds unfettered by the copy of damage from a COVID 19 infection. And I am curious on their behalf. It is neglect of the highest order to look children in the eyes and say, we knew how to protect you and we didn't do it. We have access to a technology to prevent airborne disease, something that millions of our ancestors and millions of people around the world, and we refuse to use it.
Show Host / Commentator
Thank goodness for the closed captions because I. Womp, womp, womp, womp, womp. That's all.
Andy
That's exactly what. Remember the teacher and just said peanuts.
Show Host / Commentator
You know, Charlie Brown.
Andy
And the biggest question of all, if I was like. If I was like, the one of the ambassadors for, like, Yugoslavia, I would just, you know, raise my hand. Why are you wearing safety goggles? Like, she looks like she's getting ready to go play paintball.
Show Host / Commentator
I think those were her glasses. They're just ugly, right?
Andy
Oh, my bad.
Show Host / Commentator
Although people during COVID would wear, like, face shields and goggles because they said that, you know, you've. You've got multiple places that you can contract Covid, right? Whatever hole opens, you know, to the air, you can get covet. So people would be like, well, you can get Covid in your eyeballs. And they were totally convinced of it.
Andy
I mean, I. I mean, I hate. And I wear contacts, so I ain't trying to. I ain't trying to hate on her. It's more about what she was saying that was a little annoying. But, like, I mean, come on, like, addressing the U. N. Like, you know, I'm pretty sure the air inside of that building is pretty good.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah, I think it's probably. I think she's probably okay. But these are the two options for Hollywood kids. Masked activist, or you can become trans, but those are your two options. But really what this tells me is that nobody has ever told her no in her whole life. She has never struggled. She has two absurdly famous parents. They're absurdly rich. She's not oppressed in any way. People with unlimited resources and time who don't need to find a job, and they have to figure out a Victimhood thing that they can go with. This is what they do. It's just like a time filler and they can pat themselves on the back and then everyone can tell them what a good job they're doing. That's like literally what this is. This is a resume filler for Violet Affleck. And leftists, of course, are celebrating her today after yesterday when they said don't take medical advice from people without medical degrees. Oh, oh, okay, so then we're not listening to Violet Affleck then, because she doesn't have a medical degree. Okay, we're just using the leftist logic here. You know, you can find. You could also find someone with a medical degree to validate almost anything you want. That's the problem with that narrative. Like, oh, I don't listen to people unless they have a medical degree. There are pro vax doctors, there are anti vax doctors, There are holistic doctors. There are doctors who chase big old checks from big pharma. And this honestly goes for any information on the Internet. If you know the sky is blue, I can go on Google right now and prove to you all that the sky is blue. But if I wanted to find articles that the sky is also purple and orange and pink and black, I could also find scientific articles backing up those claims too. Right? And this goes for literally anything that you want to prove. There is both sides you can find on the Internet. Everyone's an expert. Everyone's got science and facts on their side. That's the problem. Everyone feels validated all the time. And everyone's got a fricking platform. So I'm tired. We saw this, right? The tylenol tweet from 2017 resurfaced. Of course, Tylenol themselves said that pregnant women should not use their products. This is the tweet. We could pull it up here that, you know, people were making known, they were making it kind of go viral again today. This is what they said March 7, 2017. We actually don't recommend using any of our products while pregnant. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns today. Whatever that is about. I don't know. But yeah, they. And they've said this multiple times on their X page. If you go to their X page and you search pregnant pregnancy, you're going to see multiple things like this where they say, you know, contact your doctor. Like, if you are using Tylenol, go to your doctor. They're, you know, they're putting the blame on the doctors. Right? And of course, doctors who are bought and paid for by Big Pharma and the lobbyists and whatever, they are going to push certain drugs. Like, this is how this all works. So, yeah, and I think the sad thing is a lot of women. Well, we saw this yesterday. A lot of liberal women are, you know, taking Tylenol because they say, well, my doctor said so. And I think people have still not woken up since COVID about the fact that your doctor can be wrong, your doctor can be wrong, the experts can be wrong. Science is supposed to evolve. Information in the medical industry evolves. And when you get new information, you have to adjust. And we've seen this. Like, there are so many drugs that you can't take when you're pregnant. And they didn't always know that. And they realize that it's bad after someone takes it and something bad happens to them. For example, Accutane. People take Accutane for acne. And you. It is so the regulations are so crazy. If you want to take this drug, like, you need to prove that you are not pregnant. You have to do you have to pee in a cup. You have to take blood work every month to make sure that you are not pregnant. Like, they are so serious. Because the side effects, if you take this drug and you are pregnant are so severe, your baby will be severely malformed. And, you know, people had to find out the hard way. Right. That's how you find out that you can't take certain things when you're pregnant. You realize, oh, there is a pattern. This is happening. So again, like Tylenol themselves have. Has said this for years. You should not take this while pregnant. And people are all up in arms yesterday about President Trump saying, take it sparingly. And they're all annoyed over it. I mean, it's just totally insane. Totally insane. Should we go to number 20 here? President Trump, he unveiled the Walk of Fame.
Andy
Oh, yeah, yeah, this is a good one.
Show Host / Commentator
Ah, the Walk of Fame. President Trump unveiled this earlier today. This is a video that shows all of the presidents. They are in these, of course, gold frames. And then, of course, you see Bush, you see Obama, you see President Trump his first term, and then. Who's that? It's the auto pen. And it says Joe auto pen Biden. Because as you know, he wasn't really. I mean, he was there, but it was kind of like a shell of Joe Biden. And then was he there towards the end? We don't really know. Still unconfirmed. So the auto pen, you know, he.
Andy
He's a quintessential troller. Trump is that. That's the best one.
Show Host / Commentator
Troller in chief.
Andy
That is the best one.
Show Host / Commentator
I want Biden's reaction, you know, like, you know, someone sent this into the Biden family group chat. What I would do to be a fly on the wall in the Biden family group.
Andy
I bet he has no clue. I bet he's eating ice cream somewhere and has no clue.
Show Host / Commentator
I want to see if Trump hangs. Trump snubs Biden. We have to. We have to check Biden's X account and see if he said something that would be so funny. Should we get into some scrolling time? Let's do it.
Andy
You want to hit 22?
Show Host / Commentator
Oh, yes. Okay, so one more story before we hit scrolling time. Connecticut is banning marriages between first cousins. Finally.
Andy
Yeah, you gotta be on East Tennessee here. Speaking with knowledge. You gotta be fifth cousins. You gotta be.
Show Host / Commentator
Andy knows from personal experience.
Andy
You gotta be fifth cousins, y'.
Violet Affleck
All.
Show Host / Commentator
This reminds me of the. The mean girls scene when they're at the Halloween party and Karen, who's very stupid, looks over at this guy and she's like, oh, like, Seth is looking fine tonight. And then Regina George is like, isn't that your cousin? And Karen's like, well, you have your cousins and then you have your first cousins. He's my first cousin. First cousins can't do it doesn't really work like that. You don't have cousins, and then your first cousin.
Andy
Fifth cousins.
Show Host / Commentator
Fifth cousins. All right, so Connecticut is placing a ban, a firm ban on marriages between first cousins. This starts October 1st. So if you're a freak and you love your cousin, you have a few days left to marry them in Connecticut. But, yeah, this was a unanimous agreement between Republicans and Democrats, so we can agree on something. Maybe in Alabama might be a little different. Maybe we wouldn't have everyone come together. But in Connecticut, everyone came together to say, no marriages between first cousins. And basically it just says that no person can knowingly marry their first cousin. But if you don't know, then it's not your fault. But how do you think that's where.
Andy
You get into that? It'd be hard not to know somebody's your first cousin.
Show Host / Commentator
You wouldn't know.
Andy
But fifth cousins are. That's way down the line. You're not gonna know who your fifth cousin is.
Show Host / Commentator
You're freaking me out.
Andy
You think I'm. It sounds like. This sounds like a bit. I'm usually an idiot. This sounds like a bit. I'm being serious.
Show Host / Commentator
It's fifth cousins in Tennessee.
Andy
Well, I mean, I would practice that everywhere, but like definitely in east Tennessee. Yeah. Fifth cousins.
Show Host / Commentator
Oh, man. Anyway, the state law already prohibits marriages between immediate family members. So you can't, you know, you can't marry your parent, you can't marry a stepchild anyway, so now you cannot marry your first cousin. Interestingly enough, other states, Arizona, Illinois and Indiana, they permit marriages if the parties are near geriatric or infertile. So essentially they're saying love is love. Unless you're trying to have children. Then we're going to step in and say, you can't do this. But isn't that crazy? If you're near geriatric, both parties have to be near geriatric or infertile. So if both of you are infertile, you can get married if it's just.
Andy
Saying like if you're first cousins.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah, if you're first cousins.
Andy
What took you so long to figure out you was in love with your first cousin? If you're a geriatric and for known them forever.
Show Host / Commentator
Right. You think? Anyway, this prompted me to ask Andy. I said, this is a weird law, right? I mean, it's not a weird law. The law is great, I approve. But I'm saying this is strange that it took place in 2025. But then it got me thinking. There are some funny laws that are on the books elsewhere. So Andy's gonna share some for us.
Andy
Oh yeah, this is, this is definitely stuff. I mean, most of it's from Buzzfeed article this year. So like these are legit. These are legit on the books. Real laws. If you're in Alaska, it's illegal to push a live moose out of an airplane. I mean, you gotta think like, you gotta think like, damn, a moose can race some. Oh, we almost had a spit take there. Race some heck on an airplane, but you can't kick them out. You gotta try to land with them. Don't read the next one. She's still, she's still recovering.
Show Host / Commentator
You can't push a moose out of an airplane.
Andy
Yeah, you can't do it. You can't push a. It was a live moose. A live moose?
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah, a live moose.
Andy
You can shoot it and I guess push it out of a plane, but you can't kill a live moose.
Show Host / Commentator
How would you get a live moose on an airplane anyway?
Andy
If you've ever been to Alaska, which I have, and you've ever been in the bush and seen a moose, a moose was taller than me in the passenger seat of a 15 passenger van. You've been in the bush in Alaska.
Haley Karenia
Too, or just In Alaska.
Andy
No, I was, I was, I was pretty far. I was pretty. In Alaska. Yeah. But you can't push a moose out of a plane, so I'll move on here in Montana. You can't leave a sheep unattended in.
Show Host / Commentator
A truck in Montana.
Andy
Yeah, that's a bad thing to do in Montana. Also in Washington state, harassing Bigfoot, Sasquatch or any similar unproven creature is a felony.
Show Host / Commentator
Don't. Yeah, I agree with that.
Andy
It gets a little squatchy in Washington state.
Show Host / Commentator
I totally agree with that. You have to have that on the books just in case 100% is out there. Bigfoot is out there. And if you see it, don't, don't. Don't poke him with a stick.
Andy
You know, I thought this was a little obvious, but you know what I mean? I mean, I'm just one man. It is illegal to fish for whales in Nebraska.
Show Host / Commentator
Seems.
Andy
Whales, yeah. Nebraska seems a little landlocked. But like, I don't, I don't know.
Show Host / Commentator
This just has to be like people trolling. You know, they get into office and they think like, let's pass something dumb.
Andy
This is real. No, this is real. In Virginia, it is illegal to tickle a woman.
Show Host / Commentator
That people must break the law all.
Andy
The time in Virginia.
Show Host / Commentator
That's an easy law to break. What's the. I need to know what the fine is or the punishment if you tickle a woman in Virginia.
Andy
We can look that up. Absolutely. We can look that up. You want to get one more here? Yeah, let's see. Okay, I got one. In Alabama, it is illegal to wear a fake mustache to church if it causes laughter.
Show Host / Commentator
But if it doesn't.
Andy
I mean, stash it up.
Show Host / Commentator
People don't even know that these are on the books. Right? So like, if you wore a fake mustache at church, no one is calling the cops on you.
Andy
I, I don't know how many. I don't know what Good thing would be to figure out when the. Oh, in Texas, tying your elephant to a parking meter is forbidden.
Show Host / Commentator
There's a lot of that going on in Texas. I hear everything's bigger in Texas, so.
Andy
But I mean, I needed, I need. We need to do a follow up segment here and see if I can figure out when some of the last times these laws were actually enforced. That would be. That would be funny.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah, that would be funny. Then we need the story because, you know, you know about Florida, man. You search Florida, man. There's a crazy headline every day of the year, right? And I think it's because there's a law on the books that says, says that certain things are made public in the media and then in other states it's not.
Andy
So anyway, all this is, all this is fascinating. In Arizona, donkeys are not allowed to sleep in bathtubs, which is a big problem.
Show Host / Commentator
I'm glad we're talking about this now.
Andy
Yeah, it all, it all seems overall less important than the second cousins legislature in, in Connecticut. That seems for the DNA pool. That seems pretty, pretty, pretty important up there in Connecticut. I cut.
Show Host / Commentator
Well, I've been enlightened. Thank you, Andy. This was fun. Let's get into some scrolling time. Okay, so yesterday I played a video and we're not going to play it again. So if you want the context, you have to go back and watch the show from yesterday. But I played a video of a University of North Georgia student who made a TikTok video saying she found something very concerning in her textbook. And it was that in a chapter about identities, it said that Christian identities, it was a white supremacist group in the United States of America. And she's reading this and she says, what? Why is this happening? Why can they even say this? Can we cancel these professors that have this book? Can we cancel the writers of the book? Of course. Because of course, you know, Christian is not a white supremacist group. All Christians are not white. This is ridiculous. And we all know that this is false. So someone in the Instagram comments, because we posted this clip on Instagram yesterday and someone said, can you please do a follow up? I went to her page and, and there's an update. So here's an update. Here's what she had to say. Watch.
University of North Georgia Student
I'm back about the book. First I'm going to show the page so everybody calling me dumb or not getting the context can see what I'm talking about. All of these words were written in regards to identity, but the last word written in regards to identity was Christian and in the parenthesis it says that's what I said. Therefore, the reason I posted this is because I had no idea about the Christian identity movement and neither did the book mention that. So without the book mentioning that, I am sitting here thinking that these authors are calling Christians a US Based white supremacist group. That's my fight for why I made the video. Okay, so I reached out to the dean yesterday and he replied this morning and told me to reach out to my professor. I ended up reaching out to my professor and she enlightened me about the Christian identity movement, which I had no clue about. Because the book doesn't. The book doesn't go there. Anyway, my professor was very nice. She emailed the whole class explaining the Christian Identity Movement. But I, at the end of the day, I don't still, I still think the book shouldn't be on the shelf. And my dean emailed me saying, is there anything else or am I unhappy with the end of the conversation? And I feel like I should say I don't think this book should be read. I don't care if it's one sentence. Yeah. So I have to say what I have to say.
Show Host / Commentator
You know, also, the professor assigned this reading without the context that they're talking about the Christian Identity Movement, which I have never heard of in my life, by the way. I've never heard of the Christian Identity Movement. And I guess this was a chapter on identities, but it literally just says Christian and then in parentheses, white supremacist group.
Andy
So of course it feels like a bait and switch.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah. If you don't have that context, of course you think that. But I think that it's wrong for the professor to assign it without explaining. She only. The professor only explained it because a student brought it to the dean's attention. But I've never heard of this in my life. And you know what? This is obviously something that the left has completely made up, Right? Because I've never heard of the Christian Identity Movement in my life. But I just googled it and it says that the Christian Identity Movement is a racist, anti Semitic and extremist religious ideology that believes that people of Northern European descent are the true Israelites. It is a fringe belief system and is not part of mainstream Christianity. I've never heard of this in my life.
Andy
I've never heard of it either, ever.
Show Host / Commentator
And like, I'm a Christian and I am a conservative and if you ask a leftist, they would probably say that I'm a right wing radical right. I'm like alt right crazy. I've been working in conservative media my whole career. I've never met someone who thinks like this. I've never heard of this in my life. Like, this has to be fake. I've never heard of this.
Andy
It's like they write a chapter about it in a book and it don't exist, but they teach it anyway to kids. It reminds me, I have a history degree. So it reminds me of like when I was in school taking modern Middle east and all these courses the teacher would always make us buy. Her book was in the syllabus for the classroom. And we Never read it. It was just a way for her to make money. So it was just like a PA. Every student have to buy the teacher's 100 page book that she wrote just to be. You know.
Show Host / Commentator
She makes money.
Andy
Yeah, she makes money. And so this. This feels like an easy way to indoctrinate college kids. Let's throw a chapter about something that we just created.
Show Host / Commentator
Yeah. And most students question it, like, she has 100%. So, yeah, this just goes into the fact that the indoctrination is happening. Stay woke out there. We're gonna end it on the last video that I have here, and we'll save the rest of the stuff that I have for tomorrow. But I was cracking up at this video. This is a mini horse from Mini Horse therapies. And this is a horse that I'm gonna read you guys the Instagram caption quickly. And it says, black Pearl loves to wake up kids out of anesthesia when with her keyboard playing at Shriners for Children Medical Center. Watch. This is a mini horse playing the keyboard. Could you imagine? This is how they're waking people up out of anesthesia. Could you imagine if they're like, how many fingers am I. Am I holding up? And then this poor girl is like, well, I see a miniature horse playing a keyboard.
Andy
If I have woken up from anesthesia and that thing was playing that keyboard, I would just ask that trainer to turn it around and ask it to kick me in the side of the head and put me back to sleep. Because that's a horrible.
Show Host / Commentator
This is a horrible way to wake up from anything. I would be, yeah, I would be afraid. I'd be shocked. I'd be, you know, that's no way to wake up.
Andy
Just give me some smell and salts. Like, don't crack it open and let me just wake up like I'm coming out of a concussion.
Show Host / Commentator
Anything. I'd be like, I'm still asleep. Clearly. Anyway, I thought that was funny. All right, thank you for watching. Thank you for scrolling along with me, everyone watching on, you know, Facebook and X. I hope that you made it over to Rumble. I hope that you watch the show tomorrow because all the videos that I have for scrolling time we're gonna get to tomorrow and all the things that we missed. So plenty of good stuff coming. You could follow me at Haley Karenia on most social media platforms. X. True social. Tik Tok. Instagram. And I will see you right back here tomorrow. Bye.
Hayley Caronia delivers sharp, unapologetic conservative commentary on the recent surge of attacks against ICE facilities and agents, dissecting the political rhetoric driving this violence. She offers candid analysis on media responses, criticizes prominent figures on the left, and covers viral cultural stories—from Jimmy Kimmel’s contentious late-night return to bizarre U.S. laws and the latest in Covid activism. As always, Hayley’s wit, skepticism, and no-nonsense attitude guide listeners through the night’s most explosive headlines.
