Young, young progressives came out for a Muslim Democratic Socialist candidate in droves, effectively ending former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's political career for good. Then Rosie o' Donnell blaming President Trump for her weight gain and other unhealthy habits. I'm not sure how she's putting that together, but we're going to get into it. Hunter Biden is on the hook for more than $50,000 in unpaid legal fees. And then that Texas teenager who allegedly stabbed another teen in broad daylight at a track meet. He's been indicted by a grand jury, and if convicted, he could face life in prison. I've got some updates in the Diddy trial. Hilarious videos from our president and vice president. Oh, and TikTok witches say that something is brewing. What are they talking about? Nobody knows. But we're going to try to get into it. All that and so much more on this episode of Nightly Scroll. The results were in last night after the New York City mayoral Democratic primary. And Zo Ran Mamdani is a young socialist wet dream. He took the. He took the cake last night, pushed out former Governor Andrew Cuomo and He is the guy who's going to take on Eric Adams, the incumbent mayor, in November, as well as Curtis Lewa, the Republican candidate in November. The reason why Mamdani did so well was because in New York City, he ran a campaign that was completely opposite of Donald Trump's administration. So all of the TDS infected liberals are buying in, but everyone running as a Democrat in New York City is going to do that. Right? And a lot of the other candidates did. They took to the stage and they were in their debates, they were slamming Trump as if he was on the stage with them, as if he was a candidate going up against them. He was not. So what set Mamdani apart? Well, for one, he's not Andrew Cuomo. It hasn't been that long since the pandemic. Five years since it started. But honestly, I don't think young people even cared too much about Cuomo's horrific COVID policies. I don't think they tied Cuomo to all of the COVID lunacy. I think adults with parents in nursing homes were much more affected by Cuomo's poor leadership than voters who were in high school and college and just out of college during the pandemic. I think common sense young people were affected by the COVID lockdowns and that they had their graduations and their proms, all of those iconic high school experiences just ripped away from them. They never had the chance, some of them, to go off to college, or they did, and then they had to come home and they went to Zoom School instead. So normal social kids, I think, were more affected, deeply woke kids who masked up and thought that COVID policies were the right thing to do. I think they were less concerned about Cuomo's record on that. However, Cuomo is an older white man with a history of MeToo accusations. That doesn't fly these days, especially not in the Democrat Party. Whereas Mamdani was this new shiny candidate with less baggage. He's younger. He's tapped into the more progressive, pro Palestine crowd, which more traditional Democrats did not. You know, in the 2024 presidential election, a lot of young Democrat voters were upset with Biden and then with Harris for not being critical enough of Israel. And therefore their infatuation with this more progressive, pro Palestine candidate began. Now, wherever you stand on Israel, most people would agree that arresting foreign leaders who happen to be American allies is a crazy stance to take. But here is Zoran Mamdani saying he wouldn't allow Bibi Netanyahu to even visit New York City.
Andy
Watch Mayor Mamdani would he welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu to New York City for whatever he comes for, given the US is not a signatory to the icc so he can travel to the us, unlike a lot of other countries. Wouldame welcome Benjamin Netanyahu to the city? No. As mayor, New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu. This is a city that our values are in line with international law. It's time that our actions are also. Even though the US is not a signature to the icc. No, it's time that we actually step up and make clear what we are willing to do to showcase the leadership that is sorely missing in the Federal administration.
Haley
Not only. I mean, he asked Mamdani, would you welcome him? And he said no, I would arrest him. He went like 0 to 100 real quick. The United nations headquarters is in New York City. I mean Netanyahu might be. He might have business in New York City. And the potential New York City mayor wants to arrest the Prime Minister of Israel if he ever came. I mean it sounds insane because it is. You don't have to agree with the guy, but to arrest him for what? Because you disagree. But the kids on college campuses who march around with the queers for Palestine signs, of course they are all in and that's all that matters to pull off a W. So now Zoran was part of. He was a big proponent of the defund the police movement back in 2020. Here is a resurface tweet of his from around that time. We don't need an investigation to know that the NYPD is racist, anti queer and a major threat to public safety. What we need to do is hashtag defund the NYPD. But your deal with at NYC. Mayor Cuomo @ the time, I'm sorry, de Blasio at the time uses budget tricks to keep as many cops as possible on the beat. We don't need an investigation to know that the NYPD is racist and anti queer and makes it more dangerous. I don't understand like how do the left has this mentality and we saw this pop up with the no Kings protests as well in LA and across these blue cities. They think that if police show up, it's about to get worse. That's because liberal leftists attack police officers. That's because of language like this. That's because of defund the police movements. If you tell these people that the police are bad and they run with a campaign acab all cops are B word that I'm not going to say, but people would interchange the B for bad. You know, all cops are bad. You know, they spray paint F12 and F pigs and all this stuff all over the city. If you have leaders, Democrat leaders, who are a proponent of that movement, you are responsible when police officers are attacked violently. Now, Zoran Mamdani wanted to put in social workers instead of cops. That's what a lot of these defund the police politicians wanted, which is like bringing a marshmallow to a gunfight. New York City needs more cops, not less. If you think that the city needs less, less cops, the only people who think that are criminals. And then white liberals with white guilt who have bought into the lie that cops are randomly hunting down minorities and cops are just inherently evil. But Mamdani ends. It's not just the destabilization and the chaos that he would usher in with these defund the police movements. But he also aims to end cash bail, which would put criminals back out onto the street to reoffend, and they usually do. He also wants to decriminalize drug possession and implement safe injection sites. That's an oxymoron. There's no safe way to shoot yourself up with heroin. Sure, there might be someone there with Narcan who could potentially save addicts from overdosing or dying, but this is a band aid on the problem, not a solution. This is telling drug addicts don't get help. Keep doing what you're doing and New York will be a safe haven for you. You won't go to jail, and you can shoot up as much as you want. And there's going to be people on hand to help you if it gets bad. So during COVID I. When I lived in New York City, and I lived there for seven years during COVID and after Covid, it got very bad, you would see a lot of drug addicts. If you walked around Midtown Manhattan, near Penn Station, near Herald Square, Madison Square Garden, you would have thought they were filming scenes from I Am Legend or the Walking Dead Zombie. Like addicts all over the streets, they are hunched over, they are laid out on the ground, they are passed out. I would never feel safe walking around alone. And you can't have a firearm. They make it next to impossible to have a firearm in New York City. But. And you can't even order Mace, by the way. And you would have to order Mace to New Jersey and have a friend bring it to you, because you couldn't order Mace or pepper spray off the Internet to your New York apartment. That was illegal. So it is not safe for residents to Walk around and imagine people visiting New York City. They have this greatest city in the world. They have it all hyped up in their head. They go to, you know, Madison Square Garden for a concert or, or a game or something. They're probably horrified, and rightfully so. So with this guy potentially going to be the next mayor come November, New Yorkers have more of that to look forward to. Because these were some of the policies, by the way, that de Blasio put into effect. You know, decriminalizing homelessness and public urination and drug use and all these things. This is more of the same. Mamdani also wants to legalize sex work. He wants to ban guns, which of course, criminals don't care about these things. This is just making citizens less safe. Mamdani also pledged to freeze the rent on more than a million regulated apartments and push for a tax increase on the rich to pay for that. Not only that, but to have free bus rides. And he wants city owned grocery stores. And I will say rent in New York City is totally absurd. I lived in a one bedroom apartment with two other girls. So there was three of us in a one bedroom apartment. Our rent was 30$600 a month. Then I moved into a duplex. It was a one bedroom. I lived in the kitchen. I should send you guys this photo, if you can. If I airdrop you a photo, Andy, could you pull it up if I airdrop you a photo or is that okay? I'm going to. Okay. I'm gonna find this picture of my apartment in New York City. You need the full effect. This is why I'm taking a hiatus here, because you have to see what I was working with. Anyway, so I moved out of that apartment. Then I moved into this duplex, which I'm gonna show you a picture right now. I lived in the kitchen. Essentially. There really was no kitchen. We had an illegal kitchen under the staircase. And if you've ever seen the movie Harry Potter, it's basically where Harry Potter lived under the stairs. That's where our mini fridge was. And we had basically a boat sink. And I lived right there. It was the kitchen, the living room, also my bedroom, all in one. And yeah, it was. What did we pay? I think I paid like $1200 and my roommate paid maybe like $1500 or something. I mean, it's totally absurd. I. I didn't even have a bedroom door. I had a curtain. Then I moved into another studio with another friend in another part of Manhattan. And it was $3,600 a month, same thing, but it was a studio. And we split it into a two bedroom apartment, but it was the size of a studio. So we had these tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bedrooms. And we had to put up these fake walls and fake doors. I mean, it's totally absurd. Living in New York City is just. It's not for the, it's not for the faint of heart. It is, it's an experience. I'm grateful for my experience, but I'm also very grateful that I, that I have a door on my bedroom now. Do you have that photo, Andy? We're getting it.
Ghee
Yeah, Here it is.
Haley
Yeah. So everyone, this was my, this was the kitchen, the illegal kitchen, surely, in my second apartment in New York City. Very small mini fridge, the oven and stove, very small, like something you would find on a boat. The sink was so small we couldn't even fit our pots and pans in it. And you'll notice that there's very little counter space. But we did manage to fit a Keurig on there. Yeah. And I will say that this apartment, full of rats, full of cockroaches, it wasn't good. It really wasn't good. But I'll tell you a funny story. I was working on Sean Hannity's show at the time and I, we were on his private jet because we would use his jet to go fly if we had to travel for work. And I don't know where we were. We were doing something. We were on a trip, work trip, maybe to D.C. or something. And I had, you know, talked to my co workers about my insane living situation. And so we're on, you know, this private jet and my coworkers were like, you have to show Sean your apartment. So I showed Sean my apartment and he was in shock, to say the least. And he went to HR right away and got me a raise. So this, this picture was all it took to get a raise. I was very, very grateful for that. And then I could move into another apartment that wasn't so disgusting and cockroach filled and rat filled. So.
Ghee
And also, people don't understand the competitive nature that is the apartment getting.
Haley
Oh, you have, you have less than two weeks easy.
Ghee
I mean, it's like you go see it, make a decision. You don't have another.
Haley
No, you do not. And this was a very, very fast option. This apartment with this horrible kitchen situation. This was a last minute thing. You tell your one apartment that you're living in, hey, we're not going to move in. And then, you know, you have 30 days to find an apartment. But, but apartments won't even, you can't even see them 30 days ahead of time. They only take you to look at the apartments within two weeks. So it's the most stressful two weeks of your life. Then you have to book movers or get a U Haul or whatever. It's horrible. I mean, living in New York City and the whole rent situation and everything is horrible. So I will say something needs to give. But the rent freezing and all this, it's going to leave landlords in a position where they have no choice but to let these buildings fall into disarray. If they can't charge people more rent, they're not going to make more money, they're not going to make a profit. It's going to just spiral in a, in a bad way. So yes, you know, things need to change, but the things that Zohran Mandani are proposing, it's not, you know, taxing the rich and all that stuff. And, you know, it's just not going to have the effect that I think his voters think that they're going to have. And maybe he thinks he also wants free health care. Guess what, morons? They're going to start with all the illegals first. The tens of thousands of illegals that are in New York City thanks to Biden and all the open borders. I mean, they're the ones that are going to get the free health care. Not all of you American citizens won't even reap the benefits of all the freebie policies that they voted for. Just look at California, Minnesota, all of these states that are headed for financial ruin because their leadership puts illegals ahead of their own citizens. California, for example. I've talked about this on the show at length. Billions of dollars in debt after providing health care to millions of illegals. Does not take a mathematician to see how these policies can sound like sunshine and rainbows on paper if you're a dumb ass. And then they fail once they're implemented. But white liberals with white guilt are okay with it because they've been sold this DEI lie that they should feel guilty and ashamed for their so called privilege because of the skin color they were born with. And then they will vote for their own demise because of it. Here's a quote from Politico. They were talking about who it is in New York City that is voting for Zoran Mamdani. And it is that the rich white liberal faction of the city, it's not people who make less than $50,000 a year. It's people who make $100,000 a year and more. They are the people voting for the socialist. Make it make sense. But here's what Politico said. It is the most high profile Democratic primary in the country since President Donald Trump won a second term seven months ago. Seen as a referendum on how Democrats should counter the White House. New Yorkers lined up in droves during nine days of early voting. And many of them matching the profile of a prototypical Mamdani supporter. Young, white, and in gentrifying areas of the city. And here's a video of all of these supporters celebrating Mamdani's win yesterday. Watch this.
E
Oh my God.
Haley
It's very white. You could see any of these people in a Cracker Barrel or Bucky's. You could see any of these people in a Buc EE's, but these are Mamdani supporters. And I don't really know how New Yorkers can't see how these policies will make the city more of a shithole than it already is. And anyone with enough money to flee the state is going to, mark my words, there's already been a mass exodus from New York, California, all of these deep blue states. These policies are ruining the state. And anyone who can afford to leave is doing so. They're moving to states that have a low income tax or no income tax. They're moving to Tennessee. They're moving to Florida. They're moving to Texas. Nobody's going to start a business in New York City knowing that crime is going to be running rampant. There could be a Luigi Mangioni type murderer who could just take you out in broad daylight. Since Mamdani wants to get rid of prisons, I guess, you know, people like him would just walk free. Business owners, like I said, are going to flee to states with no income tax. And that is going to leave the middle class and people in poverty. Anyone left in New York City is going to have to foot the bill for all the dumb policies that make them feel less safe. That's why these tax the rich policies don't make sense, because rich people are like, hell no, I'm not signing up for that. You, you want to tax me, I'll leave. And then they do. But these people, they feel good inside. It doesn't matter what the policies look like or how they're going to be implemented or what this actually does to New Yorkers. They don't care. They get to just check off their. Their little box. You know, I did my part. I don't have any guilt Voting for this Muslim socialist because, you know, this is what, you know, minorities want. But. But that's what white people think.
F
Yeah.
Ghee
So two things. When this turns into Gotham City, after about two months of this guy, half of that room will realize this was a bad decision. And I was just social voting to get a check mark.
Haley
I don't think they'll ever. I don't think they'll ever come to terms with that. They're just so deep into it. They. It's this vote blue no matter who mentality. They would vote for anyone with a D next to their name. And a lot of these people feel like Trump is in office now and they feel like voting for this progressive candidate is an F you to Trump. It's not.
Ghee
Drives people to him.
Haley
Yeah, it's not. I mean, and it's going to drive people out of New York City and they're gonna realize that these policies are going to put them in a very bad position. I can tell you as someone who grew up in New York, when I was growing up, I visited New York City frequently. Like I said, I lived in New York City for seven years. I have family who still lives in New York City. I have friends who still live in New York City. The city that used to be great is on a downward spiral that I unfortunately do not see stopping anytime soon. I think the city is going to crash and burn before New Yorkers wake up and are desperate for a Mayor Rudy Giuliani type candidate who will have his work cut out for him to clean up whatever mess is left of the city. But it will take a catastrophic event for New Yorkers to wake up and say, oh my goodness, we need a real leader. And by that time, it'll be way too late. So what happens now? Zoran Mamdani will face off against incumbent Mayor Eric Adams come November. He will also face off against Curtis Lewa, the Republican candidate in New York City again. However, even with Trump in office, a lot of New Yorkers on Long island and Staten island being more conservative, it is not indicative of where New York City is as a whole. It is still deep blue. We can make inroads in other areas around New York City, but New York City's not turning red anytime soon. And this, this election really exposed that Republicans are now in a position where they know that Curtis Lewis not going to have a shot. So I've seen people like George Santos, who's not in Congress anymore, people saying, you know, Curtis Lewa team up with Eric Adams. Sort of like how RFK Jr did with President Trump. But will that coalition make Eric Adams less popular among Democrats? Probably. And I don't think that in this race against someone as progressive as Mamdani, I don't think that's going to help. However, billionaires who funded Andrew Cuomo's campaign, they support Israel and they will likely back Adams now since Cuomo is out of the race and Muslim Mamdani is so pro Palestine. So this issue is going to end up being a hot button issue in this election and it might move the needle. I will say this. Leaving New York City was the best decision I've ever made in my life. I couldn't imagine trying to buy a house there. I couldn't imagine trying to raise children there. I have conservative friends who live in New York City. They were texting me earlier today. Former coworkers who work at Fox. They work at Newsmax. They don't want to live in New York City. They, they, they live there because they either grew up in the area like I did or, or they have this great job in conservative media that they love. They don't want to leave it. They've built a life there. They have all their friends there. It's very common for conservatives who are in a position like that to not want to leave New York City. But they realize that this was a massively impactful election and they are very nervous about what New York City is going to look like. I think in a few years, conservative media will end up being forced out of New York City because they're not going to have people who want to live and work there anymore. And I think that a lot of industries will follow suit. And this isn't going to happen overnight because this stuff doesn't happen overnight. But New York is going to no longer be a viable place to live and work, unfortunately. But like I said, the reason why Zoran Mamdani won is because of white liberals. And Cynthia Nixon. She ran for mayor in New York City and lost a few years ago. And she is one of the stars of the HBO show Sex and the City. Now they are rebooting the show and let me just say Sex and the City back in the 90s, early 2000s, great, great show because it wasn't woke. Now they've done this reboot and I think it's called and just like that, it is unwatchable. I tried to watch it. The, the messaging and the indoctrination is so woke. They, all of the characters are woke. This one's trans. This one has a trans kid. This One's bisexual, this one's a. It's like, it's insufferable. The entire show is just consumed by this crap. And Cynthia Nixon is an actress in this show. And here she is. Here's what she said on X. Zoran Mamdani, a Muslim Democratic Socialist, has won the NYC primary for mayor. Exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point. We know where she stands, but I feel like a conservative. Also could have posted this on X and for a totally different reason.
Ghee
Totally.
Haley
All the explanation, exploit exclamation points. But yeah, this is. I've been seeing a lot of people on social media saying, you know, this is who voted for him. You know, white liberal elite, Holly weirdos. I mean, these people legitimately think that Mamdani, this is a win because of his religious affiliation and he's not white. This is a rich, A very, very rich lady who is championing socialism. And I want to just remind Cindy, Cynthia Nixon and rich white liberal ladies like her that you can donate money to these charities and these causes that you so care about without giving over your paychecks to the government and then having them do it. You. Cynthia Nixon has enough money to pay for illegals housing. She has enough money to pay for, you know, someone's health care or someone's education, but she doesn't do that. She wants to urge all of these New Yorkers to vote for socialism so that the government can pay for all these things, AKA the taxpayer. And it doesn't just fall on her. And she gets to like, pat herself on the back and be like, I'm such a good person. But this is expected from these Holly weirdos. They have so much privilege. They get to care about dumb stuff. As we know. Rosie o' DONNELL she moved away from the United States. She moved to Ireland after Trump was elected. And now she was just on Chris Cuomo's podcast and she was complaining that Donald Trump is the reason why she gained weight and started drinking a lot. Watch this.
F
During his first go round, it was very difficult and I got myself into some bad places. You know, I was very, very depressed. I was overeating. I was over drinking. I was, you know, I was so depressed, Chris, I can't, you know, it, it hurt my heart that America believed the lies about him. And then it broke my heart to be in a business that creates and sells those lies for profit. You know, it. It was very heavy to tell you the tr.
Ghee
Well, my first thought, if she's Listening, Rosie, I'll help you out. Promise me and Guy will help you out. If I, if Amazon sends to Ireland, I'll, I will get her one of those stands that you can put a phone so we don't have to look up her nose whenever she does those hits. Like, I don't agree with you, Rosie, but I will help you out on that. Me and GI'll do it for you. So if she hears this, that's just my good, good natured.
Haley
That's a very nice offer. Thank you, Andy and Ghee. Yes, this is, it's very sad that these people are so sick in the head that they think about Trump all the time. He lives rent free in their heads. The reason why, first of all, I don't remember Rosie o' Donnell ever being, you know, this svelte, athletic body type. I mean she's always been, you know, I don't want to call her fat but like, you know, she's never been this epitome of health. Now all of a sudden she's blaming it on Trump. It's like you've been fat girl.
Ghee
I don't know, 100%.
Haley
Yeah. Someone in the chat just said, when was she slim? This is my, this is my point. She was, she was larger before Trump ever came onto the scene. So what's your excuse, Rosie? Maybe she said that she did start drinking more after Trump, which could have been true. I think a lot of people started drinking more during the pandemic, which was a very negative side effect. I think a lot of people went home, they were depressed not because Trump was president, but because people were forced into their homes, not because of Trump, because of Democrat governors.
Ghee
And don't you think too that like, you know, the Trump derangement stuff, although in 2016 started, started showing itself but really during COVID some of that turned into severe mental totally illness.
Haley
Totally. And it's not Trump's fault. Want to take a quick break to tell you about the sponsors for today's show. First up is blackout coffee. Coffee lovers. You know, I love blackout. All right, Hunter Biden, back in the news because he has unpaid legal fees to the tune of over 5, $50,000. He owns Winston and Sean LLP. That was the law firm that represented him in the federal investigations. The one in Delaware, the gun case, other federal investigations. So they've represented him multiple times. And the firm claims it devoted substantial resources to defending Biden, which makes sense. They said that they incurred significant financial damages as a result of Hunter Biden's failure to fulfill the terms of the contract, AKA, they are owed this money. And Hunter Biden just, you know, dined and dashed and didn't pay it. So Hunter Biden's attorney at the time, his hourly rate. And this is crazy. I mean, these legal fees are. Are insane. But you do have to pay them. But his. One of the lawyers, his hourly rate was 15, $10 an hour. And then. I know, I know. That is a lot of money. I mean, could you imagine making over a thousand dollars an hour? He's eating.
Ghee
I get Rosie that camera stand.
Haley
Yeah, he's. He's. He's eating filet mignon for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That guy. $1,500 an hour. Oh, my goodness. And then the other attorneys in that law firm charge between $230 an hour and $1945 an hour.
H
Who.
Haley
That is almost $2,000 an hour. So I don't know who in this firm. You know, the one of the attorneys that was working, you know, on Hunter Biden's case charged fifteen hundred dollars an hour. It could have been almost two. So. And you know, working on multiple different cases for Hunter, it makes sense that this, he racked up $50,000 real quick. And the firm claims that Hunter Biden never objected to any of these costs, but he has not paid. And you know, he can no longer ride his dad's coattails and get jobs that he doesn't deserve to pay for it. And nobody wants to buy his art anymore. Since it doesn't give them access to Joe Biden, they can't buy access to the President of the United States. So this is not looking good for Hunter Biden. He also dropped, he dropped a lawsuit recently against Garrett Ziegler for leaking the, or allegedly leaking the contents of his laptop because Hunter Biden said he couldn't afford the legal fees. So how is he going to make the money? I think he could make an only fans. He's already a disgrace to the family and anyone who's seen the contents of the laptop has already seen him naked. Just a thought. This isn't sound advice, but this is advice that I would give to Hunter Biden. You know, and yes, I have seen the contents of the laptop and it's sick. I mean, it's, I can't talk about what I've seen because it's, it's so inappropriate now I'm having flashbacks. It's really bad. But anyway, he could put it on only fans. I'm sure it would do very well. Yesterday, moving on, there was a house hearing on locking in or codifying these Doge cuts. The Department of Government Efficiency Democrats brought in a witness who was supposed to testify how damaging the these Doge cuts will be. But when it got around to Congressman Brandon Gill, he asked about one specific cut. But of course, this witness, she couldn't answer. Watch.
I
I'd like to read, read through a couple of the grants that Doge has pulled back and I'd like to get your take on them. They pulled back a 1 1/2 million dollar NIH grant to Morehouse College. It was called the center to Advance Reproductive justice and Behavioral Health among Black Pregnant Postpartum Women and Birthing People. Do you think that that makes Americans lives easier and more secure?
I think that medical and scientific research of all types do you think that.
That constitutes critical research? According to your testimony, NIH grants are critical research.
I think that government research of all.
Types in the medical, including a birthing people.
I think bench research of all types plays a fundamental role.
What is a birthing person?
Sir, I am here to talk about the DOGE impact.
I'm asking you about this grant and you're defending it. So I'm asking you who is birthing people?
I am not familiar with this grant. I take a position that all kinds of government research, medical pharmacies is a birthing person.
A woman. Is that another word for female?
That is outside the scope of my expertise.
Haley
Imagine admitting that whether what a female is, what a woman is, is outside of the scope of your expertise. That makes you an expert in nothing anyway. This was Emily DeVito, a senior advisor for economic policy at the Groundwork Collaborative. Where did Democrats find these people? I don't know. I think Democrats are probably like, do you know what a woman is? And if they say no, they're like, you're hired. Perfect. Because they never want to answer the simple questions. I am impressed and I love Brandon Gill. I think he's awesome. He absolutely just. He has a gotcha question at every one of these hearings. He's very, very good at this. I am impressed at how what is a woman come up comes up at every single hearing. It doesn't matter what the hearing is about. This was about DOGE cuts. Why are we talking about what is a woman? It comes up. It could be about literally anything. Foreign policy, it could be an Armed Services Committee hearing. It could be anything. If there's a Democrat witness, some Republican is asking them what a woman is. It's a little old. I feel like the what, what is a woman thing is very 2022 and it just seems like we're beating a dead horse a little bit. But Brandon Gill is awesome, so I love it. On the topic of what is a woman, Martine Croxel is a newsreader for the BBC and she was given a script that said birthing person and she was not having it on live tv. Watch this.
Andy
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine has released research which says that nearly 600 heat related deaths are expected in the UK.
H
Malcolm Mistry, who is involved in the research says that the aged, pregnant people, women and those with pre existing health conditions need to take precautions.
Haley
Pregnant people, pregnant people are only women. They can only be women. So amen to Mark. Martine Croxel. And she even posted on social media. She posted on X. I Don't know why so many people are following me, but thank you for all the support. Conservatives probably came to her page once they found out who she was and just wanted to support her. Probably mostly Americans who know what a woman is. But finally, more people who aren't afraid to go against the grain are speaking out. Obviously, she had a woke script in front of her written by whoever and she refused to read it in real time. Standing up against the erasure of women. And that's what it is. It's the erasure of women. There are only males and females, and only females can get pregnant. Enough with this bending the knee to women who think that they're men. You can only get pregnant because you were born a woman. And if you wanted to be a man so bad that you would transition to a man, why are you getting pregnant anyway? That's not very masculine of you. I don't understand that, like, getting pregnant is the most female thing you can do. And how many trans men are getting pregnant? Like, how many people are they catering to? It's got to be this many.
Ghee
Zero.
Haley
It's just so stupid.
Ghee
Gil's these people have done it, right? And I think that they're getting the idea of how to deliver the. What is a birthing person? It's the deadpan. You have to unemotionally deliver that question, like Matt Walsh did the entire documentary. And it just puts them in a state of, I have no common sense, you know, I mean, it's a great. I hope they keep asking it. I don't want it to go away. Because, yeah, I mean, it's. It makes them look incredibly stupid.
Haley
They're all very squirrely. They get very uncomfortable when asked, what is a woman? They don't want to get pigeonholed into saying that it's a female because then they'll, you know, piss off mentally ill people anyway. Borders are. Tom Homan joined New York Post reporter Miranda Devine's podcast Pod Force One, and he discussed the toll that being borders are takes on his family. Take a look.
E
It was a criminal investigation. Having to deal with money laundering, tax evasion, and customs wrong. Where millions of dollars of unclaimed property was brought to the United States and no tariffs paid on it. And millions of dollars. And we know that the garment District there is strong suspicion that some of that funding is sent to Mexico and Colombia to fund cartel activity. Cartels are involved. So it was a criminal operation, a criminal investigation and criminal search warrant. But right away, the left went nuts. I spent a lot of time with my boys growing up. But as I got more and more climbed the ladder of what I've done with ICE director and now back, I don't see my family very much. My wife's living separately from me right now, mainly because I work so many hours, but mostly because of the death threats against me. I don't, you know, she's someplace else. I see her as much as I can. But the death threats against me and my family are outrageous.
Haley
Wow. Isn't that telling that border czar, Tom Homan? The death threats against him are so intense that he can't live with his family, and the death threats against his family are so bad that he doesn't feel safe being around them. And it makes sense. Even before the riots in LA and all across the country, attacks against ICE agents were up 400%. More than 400%. So imagine being the head, the top dog of all of these ICE agents and you were the face of Trump's immigration policy. I can only imagine. I mean, I get death threats in my DMs, and I'm a nobody. So I can only imagine how many Tom Homan is getting, or people in President Trump's inner circle where all they're doing is just implementing policy that the American voters wanted, by the way, overwhelmingly. And that gives you death threats so bad that you can't even spend time with your family. I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm so sorry to hear that. Tom Homan doesn't feel like he can see his. His sons, his kids, his wife. That's the tolerant left, ladies and gentlemen, not so tolerant. Also not tolerant. As you know, I don't say the names of murderers and, you know, shooters and all these people, these terrorists, because I don't want to give them the time of day. All these people get all the media clout and then, I think, encourages others to either be like a copycat killer or they feel like, well, let me go carry out this horrific attack or this, this murder or whatever it is, this crime, because I'm going to get attention in the media and I. It's important to cover, but I don't want to give these people the attention that they want. So if you remember this track meet in Texas a few months ago where there was a altercation between two high schoolers about which team was sitting where, and apparently this alleged murderer was sitting in the wrong section. And Austin Metcalfe told him, like, hey, man, you're sitting in the wrong section. Well, that ended up with Austin Metcalfe being Stabbed in the chest and dying in his twin brother's arms. Really horrific. And the 17 year old who carried out, allegedly carried out that horrific attack was indicted by a grand jury yesterday for allegedly killing Austin Metcalfe. Of course, he is innocent until proven guilty. It is unknown when the trial will begin. That is up to the court system. But he faces up to life in prison if he is convicted. And I hope that he is. The judge presiding over the case is a Republican. Not that that matters, but I do hope that justice is served and this teenager is not given some kind of special treatment because he isn't an adult yet. You know, I've seen videos of his family crying on TV at press conferences about him being a good kid. I mean, save it. Good kids don't bring knives to other schools and allegedly murder other kids over a disagreement. I'm saying allegedly for legal reasons, so I don't get sued. Obviously, you all know where I stand. But speaking of other legal issues, I want to give you an update on the Diddy trial. Lastly, is this the last thing before scrolling time? Yeah, well, I've got the. I've got some funny videos. I'll just make it part of scrolling time. Doesn't matter. Quick update on Diddy. So the closing arguments in the Diddy sex trafficking trial are set to begin tomorrow and we could see a verdict as early as next week. And according to this article, Diddy had scored a huge courtroom victory because prosecutors are dropping key parts of the charges. I want to talk to you about these charges because all the charges are remaining intact, but they are no longer going to pursue some of the theories presented during the trial that Diddy was involved in an attempted arson and kidnapping. So these two acts were part of Kid Cudi's testimony because Kid Cudi dated. Kid Cudi's a rapper. And he briefly dated Cassie Ventura, Diddy's ex girlfriend. And after Kid Cudi and Cassie started dating, Crazy. But Kid Cudi's car, his Porsche, was set on fire. And not only that, someone had broken into his house. And another one of Diddy's assistants testified that she was there during the break in because Diddy kidnapped her. This is according to her testimony, who was armed with a gun and then drove them to Kid Cudi's residence. So those two testimonies are matching up to me. But the prosecutors essentially do not have enough proof for the kidnapping and arson and some of the sex trafficking claims. So it doesn't mean that he didn't do these things. But they can't prove that Diddy did it. Diddy did it. So they will be not charging him with those things, but all of the charges. Those are the details and the charges, but the charges remain. Not only that this is odd, but Diddy's legal team was considering talking about Iran. So like I said, the closing arguments are set to start tomorrow. And according to tmz, Diddy's lawyers wanted to invoke the recent conflict with Iran. In their closing argument, they were planning on saying that this entire case against Sean Combs was instigated by Homeland Security. So their point that Diddy's legal team, the point that they wanted to make was they should have been worrying about the escalating conflict with Iran, not worrying about what Diddy is doing with baby oil. Well, that's a horrible, you know, idea. And one of the prosecutors, Maureen Comey, essentially said, don't do that, because if you bring up Iran or anything political, I'm going to object. Totally stupid. I mean, if the defense brought up politics and Diddy's team decided, you know, this decision is just asinine. Dhs, Homeland Security is not the problem. And our law enforcement agencies have to focus on many different threats at once, especially if there are allergic allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering and all of these things. So, you know, they can focus on Iran and they can also focus on Diddy allegedly trafficking and, you know, doing whatever he was doing. But. Interesting. We'll have to see what happens here in this case. And on that note, scrolling time.
H
Foreign.
Haley
Dancing with me today. I love it. I. I know this isn't technically part of scrolling time, Andy, but I want to play number 14 first. So JD Vance, he was at a GOP fundraising dinner last night in Ohio, and he told a funny story about President Trump. So let's play that 14.
J
And the president looks over at me, puts the foreign leader on mute, and says, this is not going very well. And he presses the red button. And my eyes get really big And I'm like, Mr. President, you know what just happened? And he looks at me and he goes nuclear.
Haley
Nuclear.
J
And two minutes later, a guy walks in with a Diet Coke. And he looks back at me and he says, it wasn't nuclear, it's just the Diet Coke button. And that's. So that's the kind of guy, my fellow Republicans, that we have as the President of the United States.
Haley
So I wanted to ask you guys, Ghee, you can answer, too. If you had a button on your desk, what would it be for? You could just bring. Someone would bring it to you. If you had a button on your desk, what would you want?
Ghee
I drink a lot of diet Diet Coke. I like. I'm going to. I'm going to say that I would definitely have that co signing the President Trump Diet Coke. Oh, yeah. I mean, it's just. I feel like that's a real Coca Cola classic or a real sugar Coke in a glass bottle.
Haley
What do you want on the desk?
Ghee
You know those massage ladies that come.
I
To the poker table?
Haley
Yes. Yeah, one of those with the Vegas reference. Okay. I would probably go with iced coffee. I love iced coffee during the day. And I have been upping my coffee addiction. I used to just drink one cup. Now it's. Now it's two or three, sometimes four. And my sleep is not well.
Ghee
Chad said margaritas.
Haley
I'm not margaritas. See, I don't drink during the week. I save that for the weekend. But I did drink last night with ghee. But normally no. Normally, no. But yeah, I would say an iced coffee button. If I'm President of the United States, I'm probably very stressed, so maybe like a Xanax button. I don't know. I feel like I would need that. Maybe lots of pressure. But let's go to. I'm going to skip 15. Let's go into 16.
H
Hi, my name is Jennifer Tiernan, and on Saturday, after leaving protest, I was struck and injured by a motor vehicle while leaving the protest. The cops here in New York took several days to get an accident report together and they would not give me any information. They never interviewed me after the accident. They never. I've been asking for information for days because I've been very traumatized by this event. And now in order to re traumatize me, the cops here in Catskill are telling me that it's my fault that I put my human body in the street to be hit by a motor vehicle. The people in the motor vehicle actually got out.
Haley
Imagine that.
H
Started screaming in my face after they had struck me. I spent the rest of the day in the hospital having x rays and MRIs, cat scans on my pelvis and on my head. And they never came to check on me. They never came to ask me any questions. They never did anything. And now they're giving me a citation for being in the road. So honestly, I think that's a bunch of crap. And I'm very, very upset because I want to press criminal charges against this person who hit me. And the cops just handed me a fucking citation saying that it's my fault that my fragile Human body got hit by a motor vehicle after the protest.
Haley
Get out of the road. I mean, this is the ultimate fafo. You're laying in the road and then you get upset that people run you over. You're in the way. Get out the way. You know that ludicrous song, Move, bitch. Get out the way. Get out the way. This is so stupid. And then she's, you know, she's got her phone out. I'm just. I'm really upset. They didn't even come and check on me. They're checking my head in the hospital. I'm like, yeah, they better check again because a screw's loose. Anyway, let's go to. Let's go to 19. So there are. There are TikTok witches. I'm just telling you guys what's going on on the Internet, okay? There are TikTok witches who are using their witchy intuition. They think that something. I don't know what, but something is a brewing. Watch this. It says, the entire witchy community right now knowing June 25th is creeping closer. Can you play it again so I can read that?
Ghee
You play it again?
Haley
Yeah, play it again. June 25th is creeping closer. The air feels heavier. The signs are louder. The veil isn't thinning, it's pulsing. Something's coming and we can feel it. Winds in the east. Okay, miss coming in then. Her caption said this. The dreams are vivid. The Synchronicities are stacking. June 25th is humming with something. Ancient witches don't wait for proof. We listen to the quiet shifts before the storm. You feel it too, don't you? Well, today's the day. It's June 25th. I guess you could argue that something happened. I mean, something happened today. I got up today. I came to work today. I went to the gym today.
Ghee
Yeah, that's sort of vague. But I'll tell you what was coming for that lady before.
Haley
What?
Ghee
A Ford F150 in the middle of the road. That's why it hit that lady before. That was coming after her.
Haley
That's true. Yeah. So they're thinking that this is their witchy intuition, but I would beg to differ. I think that they're just reading the news and they. It's very, like you said, very vague. They could just say that something is brewing. I feel something happening. What are they trying to do, Predict the tensions with Iran?
Ghee
Or so you're calling scam?
Haley
Of course it's a scam. These people are insane. My common sense senses are tingling and I think something is going to happen. Tomorrow that could mean anything. I also the, the things that I do for you, I did some witchy research. So what they're talking about here, this, these things happening in the air that they're feeling, there is a new moon in cancer, whatever that means. And this apparently will usher in a new 12 year cycle and any chaos that is ensuing the world is because the universe is, is rearranging. What I will say to that is pray to God and have faith. But whatever these people are talking about, you know, you just give it up to God. These people are insane. And you know, these are witches on TikTok and a lot of witches on TikTok have tried to like put spells on President Trump and people actually hire Etsy witches. You know, Etsy the site you could order, you know, handmade stuff. You people are ordering Etsy witches to cast spells for them. Most recently, a New York City influencer named Jazz had a wedding and she hired a, a witch off of Etsy to make sure that it didn't rain on her wedding day and it didn't rain on her wedding day. Crazy. But all I'm saying is praying to God is certainly good enough. And that's it. So on that note, thank you for scrolling with me. I had so much fun. Thank you to everyone in my chat. I love all of my homies who join me at 6pm Eastern Time every day. The only place that you can join them is rumble rumble.com Haley's where you can watch the show, listen on your favorite podcast platforms, follow me on social media at haleycarania on most platforms, the cool platforms, and I'll see you right back here tomorrow.
Nightly Scroll with Hayley - Episode 77: NYC Chooses Socialist Mayoral Candidate
Release Date: June 25, 2025
In Episode 77 of "Nightly Scroll with Hayley," host Hayley Caronia delves into the recent mayoral election in New York City, where a socialist candidate emerged victorious. The episode offers a comprehensive analysis of the election's outcome, the implications of the new mayor's policies, and touches on various other pressing issues shaping the political landscape.
The episode kicks off with an in-depth discussion about the New York City mayoral race, highlighting the unexpected triumph of Zoran Mamdani, a young Muslim Democratic Socialist. Hayley challenges the electorate's decision, arguing that Mamdani's progressive agenda is set to exacerbate existing urban challenges.
Notable Quote:
"Zoran Mamdani is a young socialist wet dream. He took the cake last night, pushed out former Governor Andrew Cuomo, and he is the guy who's going to take on Eric Adams, the incumbent mayor, in November, as well as Curtis Lewa, the Republican candidate in November." [00:45]
Hayley critiques Mamdani's campaign strategies, asserting that his policies are a departure from practical governance. She emphasizes Mamdani's stance against traditional Democratic approaches, particularly his refusal to condemn figures like Donald Trump, which she believes alienates moderate voters.
Key Points:
Notable Quote:
"You don't have to agree with the guy, but to arrest him for what? Because you disagree." [05:22]
Hayley shares her personal experiences living in New York City, painting a grim picture of exorbitant rents, cramped living conditions, and rampant drug addiction. Her anecdotes underscore the challenges faced by residents, reinforcing her argument against Mamdani's proposed policies.
Notable Quote:
"Living in New York City and the whole rent situation and everything is horrible. So I will say something needs to give. But the rent freezing and all this, it's going to leave landlords in a position where they have no choice but to let these buildings fall into disarray." [12:15]
Shifting focus, Hayley addresses the financial woes of Hunter Biden, who faces over $50,000 in unpaid legal fees. She criticizes his inability to honor contractual obligations and speculates on the potential impact on his reputation and future endeavors.
Notable Quote:
"One of the lawyers, his hourly rate was $1,500 an hour. Oh, my goodness. And then the other attorneys in that law firm charge between $230 an hour and $1,945 an hour." [35:24]
The podcast provides updates on the high-profile Diddy sex trafficking trial. Hayley discusses the prosecutors dropping key charges related to arson and kidnapping due to insufficient evidence, while maintaining that all other charges remain.
Notable Quote:
"Those two testimonies are matching up to me. But the prosecutors essentially do not have enough proof for the kidnapping and arson and some of the sex trafficking claims." [37:46]
Hayley explores the intriguing subculture of TikTok witches who predict unprecedented events. She dismisses their claims as baseless and highlights the incident where a TikTok witch perceived something significant on June 25th—a date coinciding with the episode's release.
Notable Quote:
"Praying to God is certainly good enough. And that's it. So on that note, thank you for scrolling with me." [59:44]
Discussing celebrity influences, Hayley criticizes Rosie O'Donnell for blaming President Trump for her personal health issues. She questions the validity of O'Donnell's claims and mocks her rationale.
Notable Quote:
"So what's your excuse, Rosie? Maybe she said that she did start drinking more after Trump, which could have been true." [30:58]
In her closing thoughts, Hayley expresses skepticism about NYC's future under Mamdani's leadership, predicting a decline in the city's livability and a potential exodus of residents to more conservative states. She calls for a return to strong, decisive leadership to avert what she perceives as impending chaos.
Notable Quote:
"The city that used to be great is on a downward spiral that I unfortunately do not see stopping anytime soon." [22:05]
