These are my weapons of choice and I was a Fierce Defender of TikTok when everyone wanted to ban it and people's argument was the content on TikTok is trash. It's dangerous, it's demonic. Well not in my experience. I have seen some bad stuff on social media, sure, of course. But I've also had the pleasure of my algorithm feeding me tons of faith based content and in the last few years I have followed more Christian creators who, who inspire me to grow in my faith every day. And today I am joined by one of those creators. Noah Haidu, founder of Operation Carry the Cross, joins this episode of Scrolling with Haley. Noah, thank you so much for joining me. I'm excited about this.
Noah Haidu
Yeah, thank you so much for having me.
Haley Carania
Well, in my intro I talked a little bit about social media and the negativity that is on social media and, and your entire brand is the antithesis to that. I feel like your brand is so positive and so faith based. So I just want your take. You know when people say that social media is a bad place, do you agree with that?
Noah Haidu
I've definitely seen both sides of the spectrum there. I mean you see these anonymous platforms like Yik Yak being pretty cancerous obviously because someone can hide behind their phone. But then you see, I mean, TikTok now I've, you kind of just have to change your algorithm in a way and I've, I've done that. I had a completely rewire my own and now I see people like you on my feed and I see other faith based content creators, honestly that just make my day better. So you can, it depends what you're liking and definitely depends on the platform that you're using.
Haley Carania
Yeah, it's kind of a choose your own adventure thing. Like the more Christian content that you like and engage with if you share it with your friends, if you save it, if you comment, comment if you like, the more your algorithm is going to get to know you. And once your algorithm gets to know, oh, this person likes faith based Christian content, well guess what, you're going to get fed more stuff like that and then all of a sudden scrolling for hours and hours, which I do, it's not good, but it's not as bad as it could be. You don't get wrapped up in some of this dark content. And I argue, you know, when they were trying to ban TikTok, I said it's not a platform problem, it is a societal problem. Our society is dark at times, it's very demonic at times. I think a lot of the content especially that is fed to us through social media, but also Hollywood can be very dark and demonic. So I think people like you, that is a awesome alternative. When there are Christians on social media, they get to follow some of the good stuff. So I wanted to ask you about your faith journey. I mean, how did you get into the Christian faith? Were you raised in it? Are you a convert? How did, how did you come into this Right, Yeah.
Noah Haidu
So it's definitely been an interesting journey. I mean, I was raised Catholic. My dad's actually first generation American. My grandparents, who are obviously no longer with us, they were immigrants from Hungary. So they were probably two of the most devout Catholics I've ever met in my entire life. Actually, we visited them in California one out of two times in my life. And they actually took us to a monastery. So that was pretty interesting. And then, I mean, I did the whole shebang. I got. I had first communion. I got confirmed in the church. I'm probably going to get married in the church now, too, which will be great. But I. I was Catholic, and then I went to. I kind of went to college. It's a. It's a common theme. You kind of lose your faith a little bit in college. And that happened to me for sure. I definitely was taking my faith for granted. But after that, it was kind of just. I found myself a little bit more when I actually blew out my patella tendon in my knee and I couldn't play baseball. I still am. I mean, I'm trying to play baseball right now, but after not playing baseball, I had to start something new. And I didn't know what else to do other than kind of pull back and find my faith once again. And that's where I'm at now. So I'm definitely strengthening my religion every day.
Haley Carania
That's very cool. And I think it's very relatable, too. And I'll just be candid here. Also, like, in college, I went to a Catholic college and a Jesuit college, and we had a beautiful church on campus. Did I go every Sunday? No. Looking back, should I have. It was right there for me. Yes. And, you know, all of my friends, we went to Catholic, all girl high schools, and then we ended up at this Jesuit college. And, you know, should we have all gotten together and gone to church on Sunday? Yeah, absolutely. A lot of weekends we were hungover and we didn't feel like it. But then we would go some Sundays or we would go on Ash Wednesday and things like that. But that's pretty relatable. Like, I think a lot of people, their faith journeys, they don't look linear. They kind of look something like this, and that's okay. I think it's good to be honest about that because a lot of people online, I see this rhetoric of, oh, Christians are so judgmental and we really shouldn't be like that. I mean, because I'm not a perfect Christian all the time, and I strive to be, but I'm not and sometimes I fall short. And I think it's good to be honest about that, especially when you have a platform and you get to basically bring more people into the faith. Like we're called to do this. And I feel like it's good to be relatable and say, hey, I'm not at 100% every day. But that's where the faith comes in, where we, we have that to rely on. So I think that that's wonderful. And I want to get to your foundation and Operation Carry the Cross because you have been on social media carrying a massive cross on your back every day. How did you come up with this idea?
Noah Haidu
Yeah, so actually while I was injured, I visited my little brother Jake, who, who plays baseball at Elon University and drove down there or I flew down there. And I mean, they're obviously in North Carolina. So I was just hanging out with him. There was one day that he had class and was super busy. So I was like, you know what? Like my screensaver is Pretty Place Chapel down in South Carolina. It's like a six hour drive. When the heck am I going to be back here? So I actually drove all the way there and I went and visited Pretty Place Chapel. It's basically that generic screensaver of the cross and the chapel on the mountain overlooking the Blue Ridge.
Haley Carania
Oh, I've seen it. It is on my bucket list to go to. It's so gorgeous.
Noah Haidu
Yeah, you have to go. And I went there initially. There was like a sign in front that said they were closed and obviously I had no idea where I was. So I was like, you know what, I'm going to move the sign and drive down there. Anyways. I did. There was a car down there and there was some lady sitting in a car and I'm like, hey, like, can I get in there for like five minutes, please? I don't know if you even work here, but please. And there's actually a wedding going on. And she let me come back two hours later. God bless her. I just drove six hours to get there. She saw the Mass, Massachusetts license plate and was probably like, this guy is like not lying. So I came back two hours later and I visited the chapel completely alone. There was nobody else there. And I honestly prayed. I took a couple quick videos to send to my parents, but I just prayed. And I've always wanted to do something relating to physical fitness in my faith. But seeing the cross on the mountain and wanting to spread that beauty of like what the Lord created at different mountains is kind of how I came up with the idea.
Haley Carania
Very, very cool. So how did you get this, this kind of cross? Did you build it yourself or like how and how heavy is it?
Noah Haidu
So we did, we built the cross. My dad is a contractor. I keep telling people it's a perfect storm. I actually, I hit a deer with my car. My car would have not fit a 12 foot cross in there. So now I have a truck. We got the insurance money. I got a truck. And then we started this, the cross thing. So my dad and I built the cross and it weighs 130 pounds. It's made out of Douglas fir.
Haley Carania
Wow. Okay. So historians say that Jesus, the cross that Jesus carried was about 300 pounds and he likely was carrying the cross beam was, which was probably around £130. He carried it for about a half a mile. So how long are you carrying this? Every day?
Noah Haidu
I go for a mile by myself every day. Sometimes I have some special, some special guests and we, we switch off. The other day I was in Boston, we carried it up a five story parking garage. There was only parking on like the top, the top row. So I had to go spin around in a circle and get up there. So that was definitely an extra easily half a mile.
Haley Carania
But I was gonna ask, so where has this, where has this taken you? Are you taking the cross on the road? And if you do, how do you get it there? I guess it fits in your truck.
Noah Haidu
Yeah, yeah, thankfully it fits in my truck. We actually, every single time I go out, I have a screw gun in my car. So I, I have to undo the screws and then put them back in. Every single time the, the bigger beam, which is 12ft long, goes through my, my window in my truck and it like slides in the front seat and then the horizontal beam fits in my tailgate. So I put that in there. I look like a man.
Haley Carania
You take the cross apart or you're how you. Okay. And then you put it back together and then you take it apart every time. Wow, that's dedication. So I was going to say, I mean if you're driving on the road or on the highway like this, like have you ever gotten weird looks or people can't tell that you're carrying this cross in the car?
Noah Haidu
I don't know if people can really tell. I think I kind of just like, I look like a blue collar guy driving with a bunch of plywood in his truck. But other than that, like people that know who I am, they'll be like, oh, there he goes. Especially on, on My campus. Like if I drive through campus, my friends will see me and they'll be like, oh, there he goes, first mile today, you know. But that's very. Outside of that, no one really knows
Haley Carania
what I'm doing, so. Well, I wouldn't say that because you've amassed a huge social media following doing this. And what do you think has attributed to that? I mean, obviously the optics of this are, wow, you know, it stops people in their tracks because. But I also think that now we're seeing this huge resurgence of Christianity. There are more people flocking to the church than ever before and a lot of that is younger people. It's Gen Z, it's Gen Alpha, which is an amazing thing to see. What do you think has attributed to that?
Noah Haidu
It's a really good question because I think a lot of the people that claim to be Christian are very lukewarm in their faith. If you read Revelations chapter 3, verse 16, you'll see like even in the Bible they'll call out the lukewarm Christians for not really believing in the truths of Christianity, but they claim to be Christian. I think that that 44% or wherever that crazy number is in the United States of those who claim to be Christian, it's definitely lower for those who actually believe in it. But I think the resurgence aspect of it, I think one Charlie Kirk, man of faith, he 100 brought people to the church. I've talked to priests about that. I know people say that he's not a man of faith. He was, he really was. He lived the life according to the Bible. And then two, like just people kind of sick of the honestly, for lack of better terms crap that's being put out there by a bunch of other people especially, I mean we spoke about a little bit Hollywood. Hollywood is not putting out honestly, like the good, like people are not fulfilled in their lives and they don't know why that is. And then you see these people that are extremely happy and don't have much, you know, and people start, people are starting to question that. I think so I think there's double sided sword there.
Haley Carania
Yeah, I totally agree with you. And you mentioned earlier that sometimes you go on these walks and it's a mile walk and you said that sometimes you get special guests. So who are these special guests? Is it just people who see you walking and they ask you questions and they want to help you or are these planned special guests?
Noah Haidu
Depends on the day. Sometimes it's a planned special guest. People will hit me up on social media and I'm like, you know what? Like, I don't care if you want to build a cross on your own and do it, because that's what the mission is, to just spread the gospel. You're not taking my idea. This idea came from the Bible, which is what of the most. One of the oldest books that we know in history. So I Sometimes I just have some of my best friends come walk with me. Like my friend Mason Bates, or. I actually met up with this guy who created the first Christian energy drink. Tanner. He's great, man. He's. He was so. He was so great. We actually took it up a mountain together. And that was off of a whim. Somehow we got it up there. My camera actually flew off and broke, and he sent me a new one. God bless him. So shout out. Tanner.
Haley Carania
Yeah. I've seen videos of you walking and you get the best reactions. People are like, whoa, what is this? What are you doing? And then I've seen other videos where people just come and help you, or they say, oh, can I help you? Can I walk with you for a little bit? So what has. Some of. What are. What have been some of the best reactions that you've gotten?
Noah Haidu
I actually. I gotta make a video of, like, over the last 30 days, which ones are the best. But there have been some people where they're like, there goes Jesus. There he is. And I'm like, oh, geez. Like, please don't compare me to Jesus.
Haley Carania
Big shoes to fill.
Noah Haidu
Yeah, I'm just trying to spread the message here, you know? But people will compare me to Jesus, even though that's not really what I want. People will just be so at a loss for words where they'll just stare at us. What I call it is the other day, me and my friend were walking, and this woman passed by and she just, like, stuck her phone out. And there people are trying to be sneaky with taking pictures, but I'm like, yeah, you can just take a picture with me. Like, it's fine. I don't really. Yeah, I don't care if you are trying to sneak one by, you know,
Haley Carania
and even the people that are just staring at you funny, that sparks curiosity. And maybe you never know, that person gets back to their car or they get back home and they're like. They look something up, and maybe they find you. And then maybe, you know, because at the end of all of your videos, you put a Bible verse. Maybe it speaks to them in a way that they never thought. So I think that even just in little subliminal ways, you're making such a big difference. So at the end of your videos, like I just said, you have a Bible verse at the end. So how do you pick that every day?
Noah Haidu
Initially it was just Bible verses that kind of stood out to me. And then we have, we had like a donation page where you could donate money and have someone's name written on the cross who's either battling something like cancer or have passed away. And I'll use those Bible verses because we write a different one under each of the names. So I started kind of going into that and then once we started amassing people like followers and they would start commenting, oh, can you use this Bible verse, please? Like, this is for my grandma. And I'm like, sure. Like, there's a lot of them. I need to like make a bucket and just pick randomly out of it. That'd make it a lot easier. But it's definitely rewarding. Definitely rewarding how big it's growing.
Haley Carania
I feel like you should make business cards with Bible verses on them. And then when people ask about it, you can hand them out. Because I feel like you get so many questions. You should have a QR code, like frequently asked questions. When people come up to you, have you ever gotten any bad reactions?
Noah Haidu
It's, it's interesting because I'm like, I don't know, some of my friends have said that I'm kind of a scary guy in person. So I'm like, oh, well, I don't know if anyone, anybody will really do anything or come at me. But people that are kind of upset about it or see me, they just ignore me. And I can tell, like right off the bat, I, I'm obviously taking up the majority of a trail walking with a 12 foot cross down it. So it's kind of hard to ignore me. And, and I always tell people, I'm like, hey, how are you? I, I know I'm walking under a cross, but like, how, how's your day going, regardless of who it is? And some people will just like completely ignore me even if they're not even walking with music or anything. But other than that, no bad reactions.
Haley Carania
Well, that's great. I hope that that keeps up. How long will you do this for? Forever.
Noah Haidu
Oh yeah. I wish, I wish my body could hold up for that. I am, I'm gonna try, I'm gonna try doing it for as long as I can. We're on a roll right now. I can't believe today will be day 38 or 39. I'm losing track right now. I Have to go back and watch the videos because it's, it's a big number.
Haley Carania
So you started filming right off the bat. Like day one, your mission was to film this.
Noah Haidu
Day one, I just was walking with the cross. To be honest, I was just training because on day it, it lands on June 6th. I'm not sure what day that will. It's past day 50, but that's when I'm carrying it up a mountain and we're having mass on the mountain with the cross. So.
Haley Carania
So cool.
Noah Haidu
That's like initially why I trained for this. I didn't the whole videography thing about it, like, that was more. So maybe we could get the word out there and help raise more money for campus ministry. I self taught myself how to use capcut and I, I feel like I'm getting there. I feel like I'm definitely getting better at editing, but it was never to just like grow. I tell people that my followers are not followers of me, they're followers of Christ. They're just tuning in for the journey that I'm on. So.
Haley Carania
Very cool. Is carrying 130lbs getting easier every day?
Noah Haidu
No, no, I think like it got easier the first couple of days and I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm getting the hang of this. And then I started realizing, like, oh, well, I should probably take a break of a day. And then I didn't. And then it would just kind of start degrading my shoulders a little bit. I actually, when I took the cross of a waterfall, it kind of slipped and it cut my neck like pretty clean. So that wasn't great. The splinters, obviously not fun, but just a fraction of what Jesus endured. Right. So.
Haley Carania
Right. I was gonna ask, you know, what gets you through the hard parts of this when you're carrying the cross and you're thinking, oh, I need to take a break or I can't do this anymore. Is there something that you think of?
Noah Haidu
Yeah, I. I know you've probably seen the movie Happy Gilmore where it's like, oh, you gotta find your happy place. That's like. Sometimes I think about that, like, what's my happy place? And then I think about like when I'm pass. When it's a busy day out and I'm passing more people. You get better reactions when you're carrying the cross. So I mean, sometimes I'll put it down every like half a mile just so I can give my neck a little bit of a break. But I just. When I see other people walking by me, I'm like, oh, Shoot, like, I can't put it down now because then they're gonna see just a cross on the ground. It won't mean anything to them. When they see someone carrying the cross, it means a lot more.
Haley Carania
So do you switch shoulders?
Noah Haidu
Yeah, I've mastered the art of hopping it onto each shoulder while I'm going. So I'll have my hands up like this and it's kind of like a tricep workout. And then I' kind of hop it on the other side while I tuck my head down midway. But.
Haley Carania
Well, I'm sure you'll get all the tricks of the trade as you do this for, you know, 40 days and 50 days and 60 days and 100 days and so on and so forth. I'm sure you know this movement and obviously your followers have grown a ton like you've talked about, but what's your ultimate hope for carry the cross? I know you mentioned raising money for campus ministry, but is there anything else that you're working towards?
Noah Haidu
Yeah, I think raising money for campus ministry is definitely a big one. I wanna. I wanna take it global. I wanna go. I'm not afraid of anything other than Jesus Christ and our God. Because once you only fear God and you get to that part of your faith and you strengthen it to that part, then I honestly am not afraid to do this. And people say that they would not allow this in the uk. I will take it to the uk Seriously, I did not care. I'm going to take it to Times Square probably next week. So that's a little spoiler. Not afraid of people there. I know people are not happy with Christians there. We see it in the news. We see what the public prayers that they do. I don't care. I'm not afraid there of people there. I'm. It just whatever, wherever this takes me, it will take me. And I'm. I'm honestly just like, my DMs are open. If anybody wants to have me out somewhere, I'm going there. Philippines. I use. I don't know if you've ever seen the Philippines Holy Week celebration. They literally beat somebody while they're carrying the cross.
Haley Carania
Wow. Wow. Well, I'm glad that you're taking this global. I think that this is such an amazing movement that you've started. And, you know, it just goes to show that you could start something and it could just start with you. And as small as that is, it's grown into what it's grown into. And I think that that's really, really lovely and a wonderful testimony of your faith as well. So I want more people to follow you and find out more. So where can people follow you? And do you have a website? I mean, I want people to. To know all about this.
Noah Haidu
Yeah, sure. Well, my main instagram is op carry the cross and then that's also my TikTok as well. Op carry the cross. And then I have my personal account which is just Noah, hi. Do my last name spelled weird so it's H A J D u. And then if you guys ever wanted to donate, it's Worcestervocations.com operation. That's where you can donate to our mission of raising $10,000 for campus ministry in Massachusetts.
Haley Carania
Amazing. Noah Haidu, thank you so much for joining this episode. God bless you.
Noah Haidu
Thank you. God bless you as well.
Haley Carania
Haley. Karen, you're here. Host of scrolling with Haley. I had the honor and privilege of interviewing Noah haidu, who's right here.
Noah Haidu
What's up? What's up?
Haley Carania
Founder of operation carry the cross. And after our interview, I said, where do you take this thing? I want to learn more about the movement. He said, I'm taking it to New York City next weekend. Well, guess where I am this weekend. And now we're carrying the cross together.
Noah Haidu
We are in New York. No one else better to be here with. We already have a good little squad carrying the cross. This is amazing. You're gonna carry it, right?
Haley Carania
Yeah, I am 100%.
Noah Haidu
We need women to carry the cross. How does it fit? Good. Pretty nice.
Haley Carania
Are people signing this?
Noah Haidu
People will donate and then I'll write the name on there and then I'll write a specific bible verse that they want or just a unique one that I have. You're a beast. Running on the shoulder, flat, hands out. Or you kind of just hold it straight up.
Dan Bongino
I'm going to get through at least a mile.
Noah Haidu
Gl you're able to. I was able in very happy to
Haley Carania
be a part of this.
Noah Haidu
Here we go.
Haley Carania
Of course I hit triceps yesterday. I hit upper body day, so this is not going to be good for me.
Noah Haidu
Well, but we'll try Haley under the cross.
Haley Carania
First moment under the cross.
Noah Haidu
She does it all. Hey there. I'm Paula Pan.
Haley Carania
I help people make the smartest money decisions possible. If you don't control your money, it controls you. You're not in control of your finances and you have to look outside of
Noah Haidu
yourself to live the life that you want. You're not in control of your life.
Dan Bongino
Like, what is it that you actually want? Want money should follow the dreams and goals because Sometimes we make the dream and goal the money. And you've overworked yourself and you've exceeded what you've needed for the actual thing you want. Sometimes we forget, like, what's the actual thing you want?
Haley Carania
Afford anything.
Noah Haidu
Follow and listen on your favorite platform.
Haley Carania
I love to see good people doing good things in this world and I love to amplify these messages. So I absolutely loved that. Definitely go follow Noah and all that he's doing. Just, just absolutely awesome. And in lieu of our normal scrolling time where I do, you know, stupid AI slot videos, I am doing a faith based scrolling time today. So let's get into it. This first video was sent to me by Jasmine on Team Bongino and she sent this to me and I actually saw this video before she sent it to me and I loved it. And this is about having a boring testimony because even boring testimonies are wonderful. Watch.
Unknown Testimony Speaker
I don't know who needs to hear this, but you do not have a boring testimony. People are like, oh, I've always grown up in the church. Everybody in my family is a Christian. My parents loved me, they protected me. You know, I didn't have some crazy event. I've just always known Jesus. I don't have an amazing testimony. That is an amazing testimony. And Satan doesn't want that kind of testimony to get out because it proves that if you raise your child up in the way that they should go, you raise them to know Jesus, you surround them with love, you love them according to how God wants you to love them, that they will not depart from it. And if that is not a good testimony, nobody has one.
Haley Carania
I thought that that was so cool because you see these videos on social media and some people have wonderful testimonies. You know, they've been through just horrific tragedies and hardships in their life and maybe they fell on hard times and then they found Jesus and then, and then they got into the faith. And sometimes you don't have a story like that. Sometimes you just grew up going to church because it was the thing that you did. And you know, some of those people, you know, getting raised in the church, you don't really know why you're going. You just go because your parents make you go, that kind of a thing. And that's okay. I think that's a, that's a wonderful testimony to be raised in a faith and then to keep going and then to choose it every day for the rest of your life and choose it into adulthood and beyond. Because you know that this is the right thing to do. And your parents raised you with that faith. And, you know, I was talking about this in my interview with Noah. Your faith sometimes isn't a straight line. It's not perfect, it's not linear. And we're all imperfect followers of Christ. You know, not every day are you gonna be the best version of yourself. But you, you try to get to that place and you try to be a good person and you try to not make mistakes and you try to not stumble. But even Jesus knows that we stumble and that's okay. And he forgives us. And, you know, his ultimate sacrifice is to forgive our sins. And I think that that's a wonderful, wonderful thing to remember. We are not perfect. We are not meant to be perfect. And our testimonies don't have to be perfect either. So I just thought that that was really cool. And then Justin sent me this one of Jonathan Roumie talking at that rededication ceremony at, at 2:50 in Washington, D.C. so take a listen to this.
Jonathan Roumie
The last eight years of playing Jesus on the Chosen and the last six as a voice guide on the Hallow app, prayer has been at the. The center of my life. Not because I fancy myself a saint, far from it. But, you know, I am playing Jesus. So I'm going to pray. There's really no getting around it. Because if God hands you the assignment of portraying on a global stage his own son, the savior of the world, the alpha and omega, the great, great I am. And you do not have faith.

Lord, Lord help you. Lord help you. I just thought that that was so cool. I've actually never watched the Chosen. I really should. It's because I don't watch TV and I don't have time for it. That is a show that I need to make time for because I have heard nothing but incredible things about the actors that are a part of it and of course, the storytelling and, you know, just wonderful, wonderful piece of cinema and art that glorifies God. So of all the things that he needs to need to make time to watch it is that. And I think, you know, the power of prayer. I mean, imagine being gifted with the opportunity of playing Jesus. That's really daunting. It's really daunting to be told, you know, you're going to play the son of God, you're going to play Jesus, and. And I mean, what big shoes to fill. I mean, I would feel very scared in that moment. But as he said, you know, you're not going to get through this without praying. So I Thought that that was very cool. And on that same vein, when we were talking about just younger people, Gen Z, Gen Alpha getting involved in churches, we're seeing just this skyrocketing interest in going to church again, which I think is so cool and I'm so happy to see it. But we never really see young priests in the Catholic Church. I mean, when you think of Catholic priests, you don't really think of young kids. And this came up on my Tick tock feed recently and there were eight priests ordained in Philly. And I just thought it was so cool to see their young faces take a look.

That

normalize water down so much radical. And that last part really spoke to me because like I just said, it's like you never really see this, the. These young boys and young men becoming priests. And it's. It's not something that we see every day and it shouldn't be that radical, even though it is. It's like it's a complete rejection of today's society. And as we know, society has gone completely to hell and it's. It's horrible. And we talk about Hollywood and all these negative influences and demonic influences in our media and on social media, and these men have just vowed to give their life to God. And I think, I mean, what better way to spend the rest of your life? So I think that is very cool. And God bless these men and this next video. Whether or not you believe in signs, like this might be a sign from God, it might be a sign from heaven above. It might be a sign from a guardian angel or a past loved one. This is a very cool story. Watch this. They say dead people don't send signs. This is my grandmother, Marie. We always felt like my grandma had strong intuition, almost like she could feel or communicate things beyond what most people could. But she was always too afraid to channel any of that, and she would play it off all the time. When she was sick and dying in the hospital, we got a call from her doctor saying they had to intubate her and immediately to save her life. Since all this happened so quickly, she never had the chance to decide if she wanted to sign a DNR or not. So the decision was left up to us. The hardest possible decision for any person to make, especially with your mother, grandmother. So we all jumped in our cars and started to rush to the hospital as fast as we could while talking on the phone about what we should decide. And none of us wanted to make this decision for her. And as my mom and I were driving to the hospital this truck passed us on the highway. If you are listening and not watching, I urge you to go watch on rumble so you can see this. But it says this truck. Someone wrote do not resuscitate on the truck. Like, what are the odds of that? You know, you're asking for a sign. You don't want to make this decision by yourself, but in Christ, you're really never alone. So I believe that this is a sign from. From God for sure. You know, this time of need, this family, they're. They don't know which way to go, and they give them, you know, they get this sign in a time of need. It just seems perfect because it probably was perfect. So she said, yes, she's still with us at this time when we saw the truck, but we truly believe that was her making the decision for us. She passed on later that same day. But I still get signs from her almost daily, even nearly five years after her passing. My best friend in every lifetime, I will always look for those signs from you. And you know, when I saw this video, I just. You know, all of us have loved ones in our lives who have passed on, and it's. It's very sad, right? Grief is, Is. Is hard to go through. And when it's someone that you're so close with, and especially in this kind of difficult time where there's medical decisions being made, I know a lot of families can sympathize with this, and you don't know if you're making the right decision. And I just urge people, if you're going through something like this, to just pray on it, because I promise you, you'll find clarity. And ending on a lighter note, this is a podcast. They're talking about this theory that maybe the biblical trans translation of do not be afraid might be a little different. Watch this.

In the Bible, when angels appear, they

always say, don't be afraid.
Dan Bongino
Be not afraid. Be not afraid. Apparently a more literal translation was stop screaming. It's fine. Which I hope is true, cuz it's so much funnier. Like in instant terror. Stop screaming. Just imagine like a jaded angel, like your. Yes, I know how I look. Stop screaming. It's get this every time.
Noah Haidu
Chill, bro. Are we done? I got to tell you something really important.
Dan Bongino
Why would you choose that for Wanted to be relatable. I don't even know what the wheels

so, you know, I've. I've never seen a biblical, biblically accurate angel. I'm sure I'd be screaming my head off if I did. There Pretty scary looking I hear. But I, I did look this up. I don't think that what they said is true. The historians say that the accurate translation is the translation that, you know, we all read. But do not be afraid. But I just thought that that was still very funny. And people say that, you know, the UFO files that were dropped, you know, Annapolina Luna and some others were sharing that photo of what kind of looks like a biblically accurate angel. And you know what, angels, demons, whatever you think that these UFOs are what these files have. Listen, just pray about it. If you're scared, just pray about it. That's, that's the only thing that's going to get us through. So thank you for watching this episode today. I hope you enjoyed it. A little light hearted and some good faith. So I love that and thank you for watching. You can follow me on social media at Haley Karania on most social media platforms and I'll see you next time.

There are a bunch of people out there pulling you into, into an information vortex, dumping the dead pig in the well, hoping you jump in. Don't jump in the well. It's a trap. Find a way out immediately. This is the nothing is happening trap and it is an inverted sense of reality. If we don't correct it and your kids believe it, I'm sorry, this show's for nothing.

Operation Carry The Cross
Date: June 8, 2026
Host: Hayley Caronia
Guest: Noah Haidu, Founder of Operation Carry the Cross
This episode of Scrolling with Hayley centers on faith-based social media content and the inspirational story of Noah Haidu. Hayley Caronia interviews Noah about his viral project, "Operation Carry the Cross," where he physically carries a 130-lb cross daily to raise awareness about faith, encourage spiritual conversation, and raise funds for campus ministry. The discussion interweaves commentary on the positive potential of social media, personal journeys in faith, and how public acts of belief can challenge and inspire in the modern landscape.
Insight: Both agree that, while social media can be toxic, it can also be shaped into a force for good through intentional following and sharing of positive, faith-driven content.
Memorable Moment:
"I think it's good to be honest about that because a lot of people online, I see this rhetoric of, oh, Christians are so judgmental and we really shouldn't be like that. I mean, because I'm not a perfect Christian all the time...I strive to be, but I'm not and sometimes I fall short."
— Hayley ([06:47])
"There have been some people where they're like, there goes Jesus. There he is. And I'm like, oh, geez. Like, please don't compare me to Jesus."
— Noah ([16:32])
“Just people kind of sick of the...crap that's being put out there...especially Hollywood. People are not fulfilled in their lives and they don’t know why...then you see people that are extremely happy and don’t have much, and people are starting to question that.”
— Noah ([13:34])
“I wanna take it global...I’m not afraid of anything other than Jesus Christ and our God...I know people say that they would not allow this in the UK. I will take it to the UK. Seriously, I did not care.”
— Noah ([23:05])
"My followers are not followers of me, they're followers of Christ. They're just tuning in for the journey that I'm on."
— Noah ([20:23])
"Sometimes I think about...when it’s a busy day out and I’m passing more people. You get better reactions when you’re carrying the cross. So I mean, sometimes I’ll put it down every like half a mile just so I can give my neck a little bit of a break. But I just...when I see other people walking by me, I’m like, oh, shoot, like, I can’t put it down now because then they’re gonna see just a cross on the ground. It won’t mean anything to them. When they see someone carrying the cross, it means a lot more."
— Noah ([21:42])
“We are in New York. No one else better to be here with. We already have a good little squad carrying the cross. This is amazing. You're gonna carry it, right?”
— Noah ([25:37])
“Because if God hands you the assignment of portraying on a global stage his own son, the savior of the world ... and you do not have faith... Lord help you.”
— Jonathan Roumie ([29:52])
“Just imagine like a jaded angel, like your. Yes, I know how I look. Stop screaming.”
— Dan Bongino ([36:07])
