So I saw this tweet yesterday and this is From Daily Wire reporter Luke Groziak. And he wrote this. The vice President started raising chickens. So the Washington Post called the city of D.C. on him and tried to get him cited for a zoning infraction. They called a chicken expert a they them who has a chicken as an emotional support animal because of Long Covid. And I had to look into this myself. Did the Washington Post really do this? Did the advances really put up a chicken coop? And we're the Washington Post trying to get to the bottom. Yes, yes. Look at all those chickens. Look at all those chickens. And this is the Washington Post story. Real story. I'm not joking. Real story. This is it. The Vance has added a chicken coop to the Vice President's residence. We had questions. Well, thank goodness someone's asking the hard questions. What would we do without the Washington Post? Democracy would surely die without them shedding light on this very necessary story. So here are some of the questions that the Washington Post had. So who exactly will be raising the hens? And why are the Vances taking on this project? For eggs? For educational purposes? For feathered pets. A spokesman for Vance did not respond to multiple emails seeking comment. I can't imagine why. Maybe the spokesman for the Vance family is a little busy with requests that are less. Maybe they're laughing at this request. This so called journalist, Tim Carmen. He apparently does food stuff for the Washington Post. And whoever handles their press, they're probably in an office somewhere in D.C. saying, Can you imagine that? The Washington Post food reporter emailed us again about the chicken coop. As if there aren't pressing things happening in the country, in the world that they could actually ask about. No. The Washington Post is concerned about a chicken cooperation. So this is how they continue on. In this article, the Washington Post turned to former and current backyard chicken keepers to gather insights on what may be going on at number one Observatory Circle. This is so ridiculous. We also talked to the guy who built the pricey coupe. We even checked with a city official to discuss whether the Vances are following the proper protocols to raise hens here in Washington. Wow, someone give this journalist a Pulitzer. This is the most ridiculous part of the story. The addition has led to some speculation that there may be political motivations behind the flock's appearance. It's a theory that resonates with Danny Bowers, who keeps 19 chickens on a suburban property in Utah County, Utah. Bowers, who uses they them pronouns, points out that some conservatives have embraced the values espoused by trad wife influencers, many of whom raise chickens. Bowers the Utah chicken keeper, thinks of their hens, especially a bearded white silky bantam named Karen, almost as emotional support animals. When Bowers is having a particularly bad day, they suffer chronic pain from several autoimmune disorders. They will cuddle up with Karen. This is a real quote from this article. This is a real article. This is the Washington Post. This is a real quote. And this is behind a paywall. People pay for this crap. I, for one, am really glad that the Washington Post found a they them with an emotional support chicken to weigh in on this massive blockbuster of a story. And the they them chicken expert surely wasn't influenced by conservative trad wives on Instagram, but he thinks that the Vances are. He thinks that the reason the Vances have a chicken coop is because they're on Instagram and they're following the Nara Smiths of the world and, you know, the ballerina farms of the world. And they're like, you know what? I should.
Conservative Commentator
That's.
Haley Carania
That's what the vice president is doing and his and his lovely wife Usha, that's what they're doing. They're on Instagram and they're like, let's get chickens. Ballerina farm has chickens. Let's get chickens. I mean, this is seriously what this they them thinks.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
JD should just come out and say they're emotional support chickens. And then everybody would be like, y.
Haley Carania
They should. Or be like, yes. We were scrolling on Instagram and we got this idea from some trad wife. Exactly. Obviously, not everyone who has chickens in their backyards was influenced to do so on social media. I know a ton of people who've been doing this for years. This is nothing new. And this isn't because of trad wives. And of course, farmers are rolling their eyes. They've been doing this for, you know, their whole lives. It's been in their family. This has been their family business. And, you know, you have this they them. Like, I don't even know this they them chicken expert. I mean, it's just ridiculous. Now to the burning question on everyone's minds, Quote, is it legal to raise chickens in D.C. yes, but chicken keepers must meet some requirements before the city will issue them a permit. And every coupe in Washington must be located at least 50ft from a building used for human habitation. According to regulations, a hen house and run must also be at least 250ft from any property line. Or failing that, the owners must get written permission from all neighbors located within 100ft of their property line. Something tells me that where the Vances live in the second family. I don't think they have neighbors up on their, on their behinds. I think they have more than 100ft in between them and their neighbor. Anyway, have no fear. The Washington Post journalist is, is getting to the bottom of this quote. I tried to confirm the regulations with a few people at DC Health. No one returned my calls or responded to my emails. This journalist is getting left unread. Everywhere he goes, trying to write this story, he's like, damn it, I'm trying to get a statement from someone and no one will give it to me. Maybe because you're ridiculous. But one city official said D.C. regulations don't typically apply to federal property. And he spoke on the condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to talk to the media. But locals don't follow the rules either. The official said, I know we have plenty of people in the city that are raising chickens on properties that don't meet the requirements. Exactly. These kinds of requirements are for people whose neighbors just want to get them on something. Similarly, the Washington Post just wants to get the Trump administration on something, right? I mean, they couldn't get them on all those felony charges. They couldn't get them on the Epstein stuff. They couldn't get them on the Russia gate. They couldn't get. I mean, name a hoax. They couldn't get Trump, right? And now they're going to the Vance family. They're trying to dig up all these skeletons or whatever. Now they're. They're digging in the chicken coop. And this is the chicken coop. Gorgeous chicken coop, by the way.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Looks like it passes a lot of these regulations.
Haley Carania
I don't see any buildings 100ft away. It's probably in line with the original architecture. So they're, you know, everything is. Looks up to code to me. I mean, it looks. It looks beautiful. And like I said, this is the most beautiful chicken coop I've ever seen in my life. But the Washington Post is mad, of course, so they're thinking, okay, let's make sure that the Vance family has the right permits to have chickens, you know, and if they don't, we're going to expose this massive misstep. And would the American people really care if the Vance family didn't have a permit for this? You can tell me in the chat if you think that you would care, like, if you found out that the Vance family had a, an illegal chicken coop on the property, would you give one rip? Because I know I wouldn't. But this is the kind of thing that gives the left more ammo for their tds. Like, they're always looking for something to get mad at. So I guess illegal chickens, like the. This is really. They'll be mad at anything. So, yep. People in the chat are saying, nope, don't care. I could give a rat's ass. Exactly. And someone else in the chat said, no, wouldn't change my day. I could live in that chicken coop. I agree. It's gorgeous. Hell no. Nope. Who cares?
Co-host or Guest Commentator
It looks like a swanky golf simulator.
Haley Carania
It does. I mean, it. It. It's gorgeous. It really is gorgeous. And the purpose of the media used to be to hold media and government to account right where it matters, exposing real corruption and crime. And when there isn't any, they're left grasping at straws. And in this case, chicken, chicken coop, chicken wire. This is what they're grasping at. And speaking of the second family, the second lady of the United States, Usha Vance, had a podcaster, Jackie Ashre, as a guest promoting her children's book. And Jackie Ashrae is one of Pamela Geller's daughters. So if you haven't heard of her, she's a very popular podcast host with her sister. And I became aware of their mother, Pamela Geller, because she was an outspoken critic of the mosque that Muslims wanted to build at Ground Zero in Manhattan where 911 took place. And this was one of the news stories that made me realize I was conservative. I've told this story on the show before. I won't bore you to tears if you've already heard it, but when I was in college, I got red pilled real big. I got that red pill. And it was specifically because I was taking a lot of media courses and we were learning about media bias. And I realized very quickly that I was on the right side of things. And I thought, well, I don't want to work at one of these leftist news organizations. And this is how I ended up working at Fox and Newsmax and the like. So, long story short, but Pamela Geller was so outspoken against this Muslim takeover decades ago, and because of that, she became a target of radical Islamic terrorists. They put a fatwa out on her and her family. And at the same time, her daughters, Jackie Ashray and Claudia Ashray, two of her daughters, went on to start one of the most successful podcasts for women, which used to be called the Morning Breath. It was like a YouTube show, I think, that they were doing with Yahoo at the time. And then they rebranded it and it was called the Morning Toast. And now they dropped the morning, and it's just the toast. And that's sort of what people have shortened it to over the years. So they ran with that. And they cover pop culture mostly. They're very funny. They don't talk about politics much, really, at all. But because of who their mom is, the radical left attempts to cancel them every few months, it seems. They say something on their podcast that gets the left all riled up, and then the cancel culture brigade comes for them yet again. And the sad part is, their father passed away when they were younger, and their mother is their only remaining parent. And the left wants them to disown their own mother. They always ask, you know, why haven't you disavowed your mom? Why haven't you distanced yourself from her and her beliefs? And because it's their mom, you know, I guess, like the left, they really have no qualms about just cutting people off from their life if they think differently than them, even that if it's their own blood. And again, I've dealt with this not in terms of family. I haven't had anyone in my family cut me off, but I've had friends cut me off. And, you know, this is the kind of mentality that the left has. They don't really care. They don't want to support anyone that doesn't believe the same things that they do. They want to live in this echo chamber. It's totally absurd. But these two girls, Jackie Ashrae and Claudia Ashray, have had their old tweets dug up, and with every attempt to cancel them, they just come back stronger. So Jackie Ashre accepted the invitation to join the Second Lady's podcast to promote her children's book, the Camper and the Counselor. And it was as wholesome as you'd expect.
Jackie Ashrae
Watch.
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
Tell us a little bit about the book that you brought today. Yes. So this is my book, the Camper and the Counselor. I wrote this book, actually, when I was pregnant with my first son. All four of us sisters growing up went to summer camp. We went to sleepaway camp, and it was one of the best experiences ever. But one morning at camp, my youngest sister came dressed for the day, and she looked like such a counselor. So I started calling her Counselor Snitch because her nickname in our family is Snitch. And it just became this running joke and little story that carried on for months afterwards. I would always call her Counselor Snitch. I was, you know, the fictitious camper, and she was the counselor. And so when I was pregnant, I knew I wanted to put the story into a children's book. So I wrote the first draft and then really edited it and honed it while my son was a baby. And I would read him versions of it and we would tinker with it. So how did your son help you write this story? Did he give you feedback?
Haley Carania
If he looked a little bored?
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
If he looked a little bored, or if the rhyme didn't hit quite right, I'm like, you're right about that. He was able to, like, finish the rhymes, which is what's so great about rhyming books. That's when I knew. I'm like, this is a winner. So what did you love best about summer camp? I loved the feeling of independence that I had at summer camp, while also knowing that I was cocooned by friends and even family because I went with my sisters. And I love doing new things. I feel like that's where I discovered so many hobbies. I got really into horseback riding when I went to camp, and that was something I might not have tried if I didn't go to camp. I love the camaraderie of being in a bunk with your friends. Did you miss your parents? I did miss my parents a lot, but I loved writing letters. I back home, and I loved receiving letters. Our son is actually going to his first sleepaway camp, and he's very excited. He's going for a week.
Haley Carania
It's with Cub Scouts.
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
And I'm very nervous because I think I'm going to miss him so much. I know that's how I feel now as a parent.
Haley Carania
So I'm already planning all the letters
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
that I'm going to write to him and exactly when I have to send them to make sure he gets one every day.
Haley Carania
Okay, so what is there to hate about this? This is one of the most wholesome conversations I've ever seen. This is a podcast, obviously, for moms and parents who want to read to their kids. And what's the issue here? They didn't get into anything political. They're talking about summer camp. And this is a book that any kid that's going to camp could appreciate. And yet the Cancel Culture mob has decided that even being remotely associated with this administration is supposed to be a career ender. Listen to this reaction. Watch the belief that where you choose to promote your products or your platform matters and is indicative of the type
Jackie Ashrae
of values that you want your followers.
Haley Carania
Followers do have and show what you have. And Jackie o' Shea from the Toast podcast, it just did a podcast with usha Vance, the second lady who's married to J.D. vance, if you don't know, advertising her
Jackie Ashrae
new book and promoting her new book on Usha's podcast.
Haley Carania
And I just think people need to
Jackie Ashrae
remember that when they go watch her podcast.
Conservative Commentator
White women will not be canceled. Toast edition. White women refuse to be cancelled. They're like literally uncancellable. But that, that is something I want to try and rectify. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I used to be a breather. I used to watch the morning breath every single day. This was like back in 2016. Thought it was amazing until the great cancellation of 2018. That year, Taylor Lorenz published an expose of sorts in the Daily Beast in which she cataloged all of the myriad horror, offensive tweets and memes the sisters had either promulgated themselves or had supported Miller. Lorenz also revealed something that had been like a well kept secret, which is the identity of their mother. Their mother is an alt right Trump acolyte who's like, incredibly Islamophobic. The article revealed, among other things, that the sisters had tweeted horribly offensive Islamophobic things about President Obama and taxicab drivers. The lesson to the larger and general public is that white women can do whatever they want. The lesson becomes that white women don't have to be held accountable. They don't have to take responsibility for anything. The lesson is that white women are born draped in this, like, cloak of interminable forgiveness, right? Like you owe these women forgiveness. The lesson is to be white and to be female is to be totally and utterly blameless. It's all really gross. Like, how can you even function with all of that privilege? All right, bye.
Haley Carania
It always comes back to race with these people. It comes back to race. It comes back to being a woman. And it's so exhausting to, to listen to this and also, you know, she's saying their mom is this Islamophobe. I think if radical Islamic terrorists wanted to kill me and my whole family, I wouldn't think too kindly of the radical Islamic terrorists either. So call me crazy, but yeah, I would be an Islamophobe as well. But here's what people were saying in the comment section. I remember watching Alex Cooper's interview with Kamala Harris thinking, wow, what an amazing opportunity for Alex. And I just watched clips of Jackie's book promotion on Usha's podcast and I thought, wow, what an amazing opportunity for Jackie. And that's on not being blinded by your declared political affiliations, being able to function in a bipartisan democracy. This is how most normal people think.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Think.
Haley Carania
When I saw that Alex Cooper had Kamala Harris on, I thought, okay, wouldn't be my first choice as a podcast guest. But again, as a liberal, I could understand that. Having Kamala Harris on your podcast would be a cool feat, right? That would be an achievement and accomplishment, and I can appreciate that. For someone else, that would be like me having Donald Trump on my podcast, that would be a feat. That would be an accomplishment. So to this commenter's point, yeah, for Jackie to go and speak with the second lady, this is an honor, so why would you turn it down? Right? And someone else said this. Conservatives will listen to any musician or podcast they like, no matter who they voted for. Liberals will cancel them if they don't agree. That's the difference. And again, not everything has to be political. And then someone commented this. She's always been conservative. I'm liberal, but I still enjoy the toast, and people are allowed to have opinions. I've actually never heard that said from a liberal, which is why I included that comment, because it was very refreshing to see. Usually liberals say, if you're conservative, I can't support you. I can't listen to your podcast. I can't. You know, so this person's probably not very liberal. They're probably more middle of the road, independent. If I had to guess, maybe they're just, like, left. Their center left. But I included that because, wow. I guess there are some people who are common sense, not idiots who. Who can't accept the fact that someone would have a different viewpoint than them and go on a podcast that they. That they align with. So accepting an invitation to the White House or. Or anything to do with a member of the second family or the first family, no matter who's in office, is an honor. If Kamala Harris invited me to the White House, I would go. And I didn't like Kamala Harris, and I didn't vote for her. But if Kamala Harris invited me to the White House, I would go. And maybe if Doug Emhoff had a reading podcast for kids, Jackie might have gone. But he didn't. This opportunity arose during the Trump administration, and it would be dumb to pass it up. So I'm glad that she accepted the invitation, and I'm glad that every time the critics come for these sisters, they persevere and they don't let it get to them. Jackie had to have known that this would trigger the liberals and maybe piss off some of her remaining liberal listeners. And she weighed the odds, and she chose to go anyway, which I appreciate. This next video, though, also highlights the difference between the left and the right. The left has a lot of time to protest.
Guest or Additional Commentator
We.
Haley Carania
We're at work. So we don't have. We don't have the extra time on our hands to do this kind of stuff. But le Leftist activists think that they're saving the world when they bang pots and pans at hotels that they think ICE agents are staying at like this. So this is in front of a Hampton Inn in Suites somewhere in central Ohio, and there's been some ICE activity in Ohio. There's been ICE activity really everywhere. But they're doing Operation Buckeye, and they're doing operations like this in every state. I mean, there's ICE agents everywhere and, you know, they have to do their jobs whether the left likes it or not. So. But I know that there's some activity going on in Springfield, Ohio, where, of course, you may remember famously during the presidential debate when Donald Trump said, they're eating the dogs, they're eating the cats. Speaking of the Haitian migrants who were quite literally eating dogs and cats and walking around with animals, and people were having their pets go missing, which was true, but then the media just didn't want to report on it. So there's some reporting that ICE has issued letters to Haitian migrants who are illegal. They are here illegally to basically deport, to self deport, and they are self deporting. So this was going on in Ohio. Not sure where. Um, I don't think this was in Springfield, Ohio, but maybe it's somewhere else in Ohio. And this is not a form of protest. Um, sitting outside of a hotel and making noise is not effective. It's annoying. These are annoying people doing what they do best. They're just being a menace to society. And is that any way to affect change in your community? You can dislike ice. You know, you're allowed to dislike ice, but how is this protest doing anything? You're just annoying. You're going viral on social media because you're annoying. And people think it's funny because you're playing some Charlie Kirk remix song or whatever and you're looking stupid and you're causing chaos and imagine you're not an ICE agent. Where do they even get this? Like, I, I tried to look it up. This is probably in, like, these dark web circles where liberals and activists, they go meet up and figure out where they're going to go wreak havoc next. But, like, how do they know where ICE agents are sleeping? They don't know that it's not like it's publicly available. So, you know, so they're stalking them.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Yeah. It's somebody who sees an ICE agent walk into a hotel, puts in a telegram and then chat and then spreads and.
Haley Carania
Yep.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
And it's probably just a guy who has like icy like the drink T shirt on and they messed it up and now they've ruined the day for millions of people. As if being in Columbus, Ohio isn't enough.
Haley Carania
Was just going to say that. Imagine your. Your summer vacation is in Springfield, Ohio. You probably already want to off yourself and now you have libtards outside banging pots and pans and, you know, broadcasting. We are Charlie Kirk EDM remix. Like that's not going to make your stay any better.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Just some guy on the phone to his wife. I'm. I'm here in Columbus, Ohio. I don't think things could get worse.
Haley Carania
Seriously.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Actually, they did go.
Haley Carania
Or you're on a work. You're on a work trip. Could you imagine calling back home? This is the worst work trip ever where I can't sleep. You know. And they're not ICE agents. They're just like some dude that works in accounting or something and he's. He's on a work trip. I mean, this is the reality that they think that they're affecting change and they're not. So way to go, liberals. Also, if this were ICE agents at the hotel, obviously the whole hotel is not full of ICE agents, so they know that they're being annoying to everyone. So who's there? They don't care.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
But you're compl complying by staying at the same hotel. That is your plight for being even near an ice age. Right.
Haley Carania
You're complicit. What do they say? You're complicit. You're, you know, whatever, you're adjacent. I think most ICE agents are pretty tough, don't you think? They can run on little sleep. I think of ICE agents and police officers and military. I mean, they can withstand things that the average person cannot. Much stronger.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I'd also venture to say this got broken up pretty quick. I don't see how.
Haley Carania
Because it's a noise violation. Yeah, it's noise pollution, actually. If I was. If I was in that hotel, and I'm not a Karen, but I would probably complain if I wanted to sleep.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Oh, that night's comped immediately.
Haley Carania
Oh, yeah. Oh yeah, absolutely. Now this one. I know you've been looking forward to this video. This is a vegan trying meat for the first time in years and she is brought to tears. Watch. I've been vegan for 14 years. Today is a day. I got a little steak killer.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I'm more nervous than you are.
Haley Carania
It looks really raw.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
It's almost done. Smell good at least.
Guest or Additional Commentator
Guys.
Haley Carania
I'm really nervous. Don't smell good.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Is that too rare? Water?
Haley Carania
You're asking me too many questions right now. I think it's perfectly cooked. Guys. 14 years.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
You're shaking.
Conservative Commentator
I feel like I want to cry.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Don't eat it then.
Conservative Commentator
But I want to.
Haley Carania
I'll eat it.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Why are you crying?
Conservative Commentator
I have a ptsd. People said bad things to me because I was vegan.
Haley Carania
Doesn't make sense.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
It tastes really good.
Haley Carania
She's crying.
Conservative Commentator
Want to.
Haley Carania
I just don't know how to do it.
Guest or Additional Commentator
No. No.
Haley Carania
Are you okay? It tastes so good. Really? Imagine the life you could have had eating steak this whole time.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
She cries for a long time. At the very end she goes. I can't believe I waited all these years and missed out on all this.
Haley Carania
Yeah. I don't know why anyone would be missing out. I think everyone should eat meat. I think everyone should be a little fat phobic also. Which brings me to this next video. Because it keeps you healthy. And this body positive influencer has a problem with Bethany Frankel's Skinny Girl brand. Watch this grocery store and would you look at this? One of the most fat phobic brands to ever exist. And again it's okay to have these types of options, but it's not okay to perpetuate and profit off of fat phobia. So that's. That doesn't make sense. Play the video again. Hold on. There's a contradiction there. Listen to this grocery store and would
Co-host or Guest Commentator
you look at this?
Haley Carania
One of the most fat phobic brands to ever exist. And again, it's okay to have these types of options, but it's not okay to perpetuate and profit off of fellow. Yeah, it's okay to have these products but you can't profit off of them. The products can exist but you can't make money off of them.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Huh.
Haley Carania
So which one is it? You're allowed to have fat phobic products, but you can't. You can't sell them. I. I don't understand her logic behind that.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I just picture somebody really taking advantage of that and creating a product called something like Fatty mcfat Fat super slim drink like you see in a comedy movie. But it's free so we're allowed to put that front and center.
Haley Carania
But if Skinny Girl was a non profit and they didn't take any profits. Would she be okay with it? No, she has a problem with it being called skinny. And she's assuming that Skinny girl is inherently fat phobic. The target audience for Skinny Girl is women. Women who are watching their weight. And like I said, I think everyone should watch their weight. Everyone needs to watch their weight. If you're fat. If you're skinny. If you're skinny, you might want to put weight on. It depends. It depends on the person.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I've had some skinny girl products, salads, dressing. It's okay, I guess.
Haley Carania
Well, you know, how good can your salad dressing be if it's 5 calories, right?
Co-host or Guest Commentator
There's no in between with salad dressing. Fun fact. It's either an insane amount of calories and sugar and. Or it's like it's bare bones water with a little bit of ranch seasoning. There's no in between.
Haley Carania
So for me, personally, I don't mind a tangy salad dressing. There is nothing better than just like a little lemon wedge on top of a salad. Lemon, olive oil, a little mustard, red wine vinegar that mixed together. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, whatever. That's a great. I could drink that. That is a salad dressing I could have all the time. Is it Caesar? Do I want that on my Caesar?

But you can make very healthy salad dressings that are not high in calorie.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
For sure. It's the diet protein ranch at Publix.
Haley Carania
Someone in the chat said, oh, wait, it just went away. Oh, yeah, it's here. Would she buy a brand called hey, you, fat ass? And people were like, okay, that's what I'm saying. You start a brand. Biggie.
Conservative Commentator
Big. Big, big.
Haley Carania
You started a brand, Big girl. Like, what the heck? I think. And I think we've played her videos before. I think she rage baits on purpose. I think she might have been the same girl that said Weight Watchers was also fat phobic. So she's just posting rage bait and I'm falling for it.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
It's fun. I like it. Good.
Haley Carania
Funny. It's funny.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Yeah.
Haley Carania
And I think she should go to Weight Watchers sign up, and I think she should. Again, this isn't me being mean. I care about this woman's health. I think she should go to Weight Watchers. I think she should try some skinny girl salad dressings. It might do her some good. All right. A debate has been heating up on TikTok, and it's whether or not women should be open to dating bisexual men. Listen to this.
Jackie Ashrae
Not dating a man just because he's bi is 1000% homophobic. And I'm gonna break that down. First off, I need to address the really common response that women give where it's just like, I'm not allowed to have preferences. So women are allowed to say no. You're taking away their autonomy, which is the stupidest thing. Actually, the easiest way to break it down is like a history lesson. If you go back to segregation and all of the racism towards black people, where people would say, well, I just don't want to be around a black person. I just think that white people and black, like, that's my preference. I don't want to be friends with a black person. Why was that preference not respected, Quote, unquote? Why was it not okay for white people to say no? And the answer is, if you look at black people, when you look at white people, when it comes to friendship, the only actual difference you can distinguish between making that choice is their race. You can't make any assumptions on who they are, what they're like. You're making that choice based off race. And because race doesn't actually make any difference in friendship, that's racist. So when someone says, I have a preference, I like people with brown hair instead of black hair when dating, that does actually make a difference in terms of physical attraction, who you're looking at. So it's not shamed on because, oh, if you just are attracted someone with black hair, it's not a meaningless choice. It's a choice that has some tendency to change your actual attraction to a person. And so that brings us to dating a bi man or not wanting to date a bi man. And the issue if you tie it back to, like, racism and all of that, is that it shouldn't have a difference in who this person is at fault. And the problem is that you are viewing being bi as a trait the same way you're viewing having a different color hair. And it seems like something you can just choose and be like, I'm just not attracted to it. But. But it actually makes no sense because you could line up a straight man and then a bi man, but they're the exact same people. Like, clone the two people and they would be the exact same act the same, talk, the same, look, the same. The only difference is that they are bi, is that their preference is men. And that's why choosing not to date a bi man is homophobic, because it's that same thing where your preference is at the root because of their sexuality, and it has no other impact on the person itself itself. Because every claim or rebuttal made by
Haley Carania
people just saying, you get it. This is one of the dumbest videos I've ever seen in my life. Also, someone in the chat said that there's no such thing as bi men, only gay men. And I will say one of my friends who's a lesbian told me the exact same thing. She says, I don't believe in bisexuality. I think you're just. You're gay or you're straight. But other people in the community would say that it's a spectrum. And like, one day you could be this and one day you could be that.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
So the comments she said were, if you put a straight guy and a bi guy, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. Except for when you marry the bi guy and he decides he doesn't like women anymore.
Guest or Additional Commentator
Right.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
And now you've just married a gay man who left you.
Guest or Additional Commentator
Right.
Haley Carania
And this happens to people so often. Yeah, but women are just supposed to, like, sit down and shut up and marry gay men. And like, here's my question. Are straight men allowed to deny male advances? Or it just. Is it just women who have to date gay men now? Or, like, is she hearing herself? It's just women who have to. It's. It's homophobic if women don't want to date gay men. And do the bi men even want to date straight women anyway? Don't you.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Too many. I have too many equations going on in my head.
Haley Carania
Don't you have to date someone who is also by. And if you're okay with them being bi, like, you're on some sort of a spectrum.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
All I know.
Haley Carania
Sexuality spectrum is.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Throwing it back to segregation is probably not the argument to go.
Haley Carania
Probably not. And yeah, she said
Guest or Additional Commentator
that.
Haley Carania
Yeah, she's like, turned this into a race thing. And she said, you know, well, if you say, I don't want to hang out with black people, that's the same thing as saying, I don't want to date gay men. That's not the same thing. You're allowed to be friends with whoever you want. And certainly when it comes to romantic partners, you should be physically attracted to them. And it's okay to not be attracted to everyone. This is why, you know, people don't go and date everyone.
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
You.
Haley Carania
You pick one person that you like and you marry them, ideally. And I feel like what this girl is saying is that essentially everyone should want to get with everyone in the name of inclusivity. They used to call these kinds of people easy and now it's. It's inclusive. They're inclusive and woke. And these people don't even really know what they're attracted to. Anyway, take. Take a look at this one.
Conservative Commentator
Are you a lesbian?
Haley Carania
I identify as queer.
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
What does that mean?
Haley Carania
I guess I like people who are not men. You like people that are what? We're not men. Again, Non men, which are women?
Conservative Commentator
Yeah, I mean, do you date male people?
Guest or Additional Commentator
I don't. I don't know.
Haley Carania
She doesn't really know anything. She doesn't really know. She doesn't know what it means to. What does she say? Can you play that again?
Conservative Commentator
Are you a lesbian?
Haley Carania
I identify as queer. What does that mean? I guess I like people who are not men. You like people that are what? We're not men, I guess. Non men, which are women.
Conservative Commentator
Yeah, I mean, you date male people.
Guest or Additional Commentator
I don't. I don't know.
Haley Carania
She doesn't know what she dates. How can you. How do you not. How do you answer that question like that if you don't know who you're dating? You got to start paying attention. Or maybe she's just not dating anyone and that's fine too. But just say that she says that she's queer. What does that mean? I like people who are not men. Okay, so women. So you're a lesbian. Well, I don't know. They're like a very afraid of labels. It's bizarre. It's okay to have labels. It doesn't make you a bad person. You could say that you're straight. You're allowed to be straight. It doesn't mean you're a horrible person.
Conservative Commentator
It.
Haley Carania
It's okay to be straight and white. You're not a horrible person. It's okay to be straight and white and conservative. You're not a horrible person. You can date who you're attracted to. It's okay. You don't have to date gay men if you don't want to. We're all allowed to do whatever we want to do in the confines of the law. So if you want to date someone, go for it. If they want to date you back, great. That's all it takes. Consent. And for it to be legal. Date who you want. To put parameters on it and restrictions on it is weird. But to be so afraid of labels is also weird. Wasn't that delicious?
Conservative Commentator
So good.
Haley Carania
Your bill, ladies. I got it.

this woman, she had a student teacher job but she got canned because of her piercings. And now she's crying on the Internet about it.

Watch.
Guest or Additional Commentator
This shit's so fucking embarrassing. I'm supposed to be student teaching at my local school district. Supposed to be. And I put in accommodation request for my piercings because there's certain piercings that I can't put a retainer in because they're hard to find and or don't exist or they cause physical pain. Like this one causes physical pain because just because of the way it was pierced. So I thought I would just find like, like a black thing that'll make it look like a mole. Same with these two. And then the septum, I just flipped up these, I just put in the clear retainers. This I can't find a retainer to. So I asked for these accommodations and I tell them like, yeah, my piercings are very spiritual to me. It helps me feel connected to my ancestry and the culture and my indigenous ancestry. And also there it like they are intensely spiritual for me. When I got my nozzle on, for example, that was an intensely spiritual experience. And if I took it out, I would feel like disconnected from, from it. Even when I take it out to change or clean, I feel disconnected. It just, I, I did everything right, right. I write my personal statement, I explained the meaning and everything. I, I put my religious affiliation with like the Church of Body Modification and, and how I practice and everything. And, and then I, I also recommend and say that, oh well, I could also just wear a face mask to complete my student teaching. And, and they just wouldn't budge. Like there was no discussion, no duh.
Haley Carania
The Church of Body Modification. The Church of Body Modification. Never heard of it. Never heard of it. I saw someone in the chat say, it's never the I want to have a job look. They can never pull that one off. It's always I want to look as weird as possible. I want to flaunt my every, I want to make my personality something that I can wear. Right? These are all things that you should be able to put aside for your job. You're only at your job for a few hours and you're teaching children so maybe they don't want to be scared looking at you in all of your piercings.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I did full time music for like all through college. When I wasn't at school and then after college for five years.
Haley Carania
So what did you look like then?
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I had silver hair. I had silver hair and I maintained my silver hair. Did I want to do some crazy stuff and get a bunch of tattoos or. I was really into like the SoundCloud rap scene where it was like all face tattoos. But in the back of my mind I thought, hey, eventually this is going to come to an end and you're going to have to sit in front of a person who's interviewing you. And if you have young Trap Lord tattooed across your eyeballs, it's probably not going to go great.
Haley Carania
And then you interviewed for a job at Silverlock and you were like, let me have a hair color that's found in nature. So I don't scare these people because conservatives are normal and I need to fit in for a little bit. This is Andrew. This is Andrew outing himself as a crazy person. A crazy colored hair, something.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
You can't just be a default white guy, dj, musician. You have to have a little bit of something, well, pizzazz.
Haley Carania
But then you came here and you had to cosplay as a normal person to. To get the job.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I'm a. I'm a secret. That's what it is. I'm undercover.
Haley Carania
Yeah, right. Yeah, right.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Can I make a point real fast?
Haley Carania
Yes, you. Yes, you may.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
The church of Bible speaking. Yes. The church of body modification. I am. I am taken back by that very much. And I don't want to make it super spiritual right now, but I do want to quote First Corinthians 16 or 6, 19, 20, which says, do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. You are bought at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. Well, basically the implications of that teaching is that you are to respect. You're to have respect for your body. Your body is viewed as sacred and is deserving of care and honor. So.
Haley Carania
Well, I agree with that. You agree with that. We all agree with that. But this girl doesn't go to church. She goes to the church of body modification. So what does her scripture say?
Co-host or Guest Commentator
That's a first.
Haley Carania
That's what I'm saying.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I don't know what Bible she's reading out of. If that's not.
Haley Carania
She's not.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
You could call that a Bible, but.
Haley Carania
And that's the thing. This is the point. These people want to live in an alternate Reality. I'm not saying you ha. She doesn't have to be Christian. I hope everyone's Christian. I hope everyone comes home one day. I do. I want that. But I. If this person doesn't want to go to church, that's fine. But she says, well, this is. This connects me to my spirituality and my ancestors. Therefore, I need to have piercings in. You don't. You don't need to have piercings in. If you want to have piercings in. And. And you can find a job that will allow that. But this specific student teaching job that she wanted requires you to look like a normal person. So therefore, it's not a good match. If you want your job and you want to keep your job, you play by their rules. If you don't want to play by their rules, you can either get dropped like she did, or she can walk away and find any other job that allows her to look like a freak.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
You could teach music maybe at a after school thing.
Haley Carania
Sure, sure. I. Okay. So I worked at Abercrombie. We talked about this. I worked at Abercrombie when I was in college during Christmas break.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Did you have a nose ring?
Conservative Commentator
No.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
You didn't get a nose ring in college?
Haley Carania
No.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Not even like a little hoop? I almost got. I almost got a stud. It was so Chance the Rapper had one. It was so cool.
Haley Carania
Well, if Chance the Rapper had. Has one, then, you know, I saw Regina George wearing army pants and flip flops, so I had to wear army pants and flip flops.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
There you go. Anyway, add Abercrombie.
Haley Carania
No, I. I ever. I have one ear piercing. I tried in college to get a few. I tried to get a piercing here and here, and I ended up this. This is probably TMI and no one wants to hear this, but it is kind of funny. So my mom gave me diamond earrings that I did not want to lose. So I put them on really, really tight because I didn't want them to fall out. And my ear, exactly where this grew over the earring. It was stuck in my ear. My ear just. My ear grew over it. I had to get it surgically removed.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Nice.
Haley Carania
They gave me multiple shots of novocaine to the side of my face. I couldn't feel it. And they had to rip my earring out of my ear. It. It became we. I became one with the earring. It was part of my body.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Nice.
Haley Carania
So then I got an. After that whole debacle, I got a. Whatever they call this, I even forget what it's called, but a piercing up on the top part of my ear, same thing happened. And when I went back to the doctor to get that removed, they were like, why don't you just cool it on the piercings? Like, you're probably not a good candidate for this if we have to keep pulling your. Your earrings out of your ears. And I said, yeah, you're right. So these give me no issues. These are my only piercings and that's fine. I'm not going to try to put one in my nose and have that grow. You know, it's just. I'm good, I'm good. I. And I don't want any tattoos. I've never wanted tattoos. I don't mind them on other people. I'm not like, unattracted to them. But for me personally, there is nothing that I would want on my body permanently.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
It's kind of gone out. I mean, not a ton, but it's a little. It's starting to go a little out of style. But it's also cooler to have no tattoos, is it.
Haley Carania
Has it flip.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
It's starting to make a little bit of a. Who knows? Maybe I'm talking out of my.
Haley Carania
I see a lot of content of people removing their tattoos.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Correct. There's been a. Pete Davidson got a lot of his tattoos. A lot of the celebrity class are removing their tattoos. So it's kind of coming back into style to be clean cut.
Jackie Ashrae
Yeah.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Well, grats, you did it.
Haley Carania
I just was ahead of the curve. I was just always clean cut. Well, I tried to have a little rebellious moment with my earrings, but my body said no. My body said, you're just. You're meant to have one normal ear piercing anyway. So long story short, that's my piercing story and why I have no tattoos. And I will never. But this is, you know, when it comes to job interviews nowadays, it really only. Oh, I forgot to say why I brought up the Abercrombie thing. I just, I brought it up and then I realized I didn't finish the story. They said you must wear normal colored nail polish. No blue, no green, no yellow, no orange. Like natural. Like what I have right now. Natural nail color, pinks, red's fine, but nothing crazy. And again, I agreed to work for this store. So I play by their rules. That was my point. If they have a. A set of rules laid out for their employees and they want to maintain a specific look for their employees at Abercrombie is certainly more to maintain a certain vibe and a look than it is to, you know, teach children. But you don't want to scare children. And my point was, if your job gives you a list of, you know, parameters, you fall within those parameters or you get axed. So she got axed. But in terms of job interviews, you go in, you want to put your best foot forward. You don't want to have silver hair and a septum piercing like. Like Andrew and his. In his back of the day, in his emo phase, but you want to put your best foot forward. And how is that possible when jobs are having AI conduct interviews on behalf of the company? Watch this.
Conservative Commentator
Great.
Jackie Ashrae
Thank you.
Haley Carania
First question. Are you artificial intelligence?
Jackie Ashrae
Just have to ask this.
Haley Carania
Due to the increase in AIs joining interviews.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Wait, what? You're asking me if I'm artificial intelligence? Are you artificial intelligence?
Haley Carania
I'm not an artificial intelligence. I'm a human hiring manager here to
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
get to know me better.
Haley Carania
Let's keep going. How did you find out about this job and what attracted you to apply?
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Wait, what? You're telling me you're a human?
Jackie Ashrae
I understand it can feel a bit
Haley Carania
unusual, but I'm a real person conducting this interview. I'm glad we can clear that.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
No, that's not unusual. It's typically a human.
Haley Carania
Thanks for confirming. I'm impressed with your application. And you interviewed Wong. How did you find out about this
Jackie Ashrae
position and what interested you most?
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Oh, well, I found it from Wonderin AI. That's what helped me to basically find this and just apply automatically and tailor my applications.
Jackie Ashrae
That's great to hear.
Haley Carania
It sounds like Wonderin AI was a
Jackie Ashrae
helpful tool for you.
Haley Carania
I'm also curious, are you available to start on Monday? Okay, so obviously this is an ad for some AI company, but this is a reality for people who are starting new jobs. There are people going to med school who are being interviewed by AI. This is some sort of thing that companies are doing to kind of bypass the first round of interviews. Like, I'm sure a human would step in at some point to hire someone, maybe in a second round or third round interview. But this is supposed to weed out certain people. And I. This is completely disqualifying in my opinion. If I ever sat down for a job interview and the interviewer was an AI bot, I would close out of it. And I would just say, this is not a good fit for me. I probably wouldn't even thank the company. If you're. If you've been in the job search recently, you know that on the. On the application end, you can send in application after application, after application. You never hear back. And for Whatever reason, companies, they just don't want to extend that courtesy of letting you know, hey, we got your application. This isn't a good fit. They just leave you in limbo forever and ever and ever, which is so rude. And I see people online complaining about this system all the time. And then companies have the audacity to take out another human level to this where there's just absolutely no humanity at all. They don't care. This tells me that the company thinks of their employees as numbers and that is it. They are a bottom line, they are a salary. They are not human.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
If I tried. Interviewing sucks. We've had this conversation before. Interviewing is the absolute worst. Yeah, I show up and it's an AI person. I, I mean, depending on how desperate I am for a job, I think I would bail. That's so disrespectful.
Haley Carania
Yeah, it's absolutely disrespectful. And I unfortunately think that this is the future. We keep seeing companies do this. I think the more videos that are posted of people naming and shaming the companies that are using AI to interview their candidates or potential candidates, I think maybe can companies will course correct and they'll think, okay, this is not landing well. People don't like the AI interview aspect. I guess we'll have to hire a human. I guess we're going to have to have someone physically in HR that handles interviews just like you know, we've always done. And if it isn't broke, let's not fix it.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Even for a screening call like that would tick me off so much. If I picked up the phone and it's an automate automated voice. Tell me about your background. Why do you think you'd be a good fit for that? Have Sam in HR give me a call. They're a recruiter sending an A. That one drives me crazy.
Haley Carania
And would the candidate put their best foot forward if they were responding to these automated questions? I wouldn't, I would be totally thrown off. I wouldn't feel like myself. And like you said, it's already nerve wracking enough to go to a job interview and then you're being thrown off by having to talk to a robot. How would I, how would I put my best foot forward? I wouldn't. I absolutely wouldn't. So anyway, I think this is the future and it's an unfortunate side effect of just this AI world that we're entering into. I think AI can be great and then there are companies that use it in the wrong avenues and I think, you know, we just have to be smart about where and how we're using AI. This certainly is not smart. And this next debate, we're going to get into this, I think, because you say that you like this, but this is a debate between coworkers who. Who are from different generations. This is a millennial versus a Gen Z. Watch this. It says pov. Your millennial coworker likes the lights on, but you're Gen Z and don't. So this woman is standing on her desk and she's putting up some kind of. I don't even know what that is. Like wax paper, parchment paper, it looks like, to cover the light so that it's not shining on her desk. Is there something else connecting it? I. I don't know how she's doing this.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
She stuck it in the ceiling tile, something like that.
Haley Carania
So what's your take on this? Andrew's sitting in the dark.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
So, yeah, that's.
Haley Carania
Andrew's sitting in the dark, and I'm sitting in the bright light.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I want the vibes, guy. I want the vibe to be good. Even when I worked in a corporate office, I loved when I'd get in early and work in the dark. I hate fluorescent lights.
Haley Carania
I do, too.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Now when the older. It was the older people. When the older people in the office get in and they flip all the lights on and you get like, flashbanged. I'm not going to say anything, but if I wasn't at my desk, I was probably down. We. There were, like, some work space areas that were darker, and I would usually go set up there.
Haley Carania
It's interesting that it seems to be a generational thing. I think in generations past, they never questioned the way that things are. It was like, you go to work, the lights are on, you know, And I feel like younger generations are going into the workforce and it's like, but why does it have to be this way? You know, they're questioning the status quo, and that's also okay. But I do think so. I think there's a generational divide there. But I wonder if there's a generational divide and a reason for why younger people don't like the lights on. Or is it just because older people never thought that they could question the system?
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I think it's a little bit of both. I do. I have worked with younger, like, Gen Xers. It gets to a point where you're sort of asking them, okay, do you have to question why we show up to work at 9? Like, come on. There's a certain amount of that. The lights Though I think the office can be moody. I. Why do, why does it have to be fluorescence? Why can't it be dimmable LEDs, right.
Haley Carania
In today's age, I guess it's probably stemming from more corporate culture where they, they have these companies that are paying big rents and they're in these sky high built and it's just they, it
Co-host or Guest Commentator
comes where it comes.
Haley Carania
Fluorescent lighting. Right. But I think with younger companies and newer employees and managers, millennials who are becoming managers now, it's like, okay, well maybe let's do something different. You have to sit here in this office for however many hours a day. Let's make this a little more palatable for people and a little more comfortable. But where does this go into the comfort culture debate that I have where not everything has to be tailored to your comfort all the time. You're. It's okay to go to work and sit in fluorescent lighting. You will survive. There is an aspect to that where it's like you're annoying. The lights are on, but they're not going to kill you. Like just do your fricking job. Right? So to go to that length and to get out your parchment paper and stand on your desk and tape it to. To me, that's annoying.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Now I'm like reeling through my head. Who decides though? Is it Sheila who's been there? It. It's Sheila. It's Sheila who's been there 20 years. She decides if the lights are on. What am I saying?
Jackie Ashrae (continued)
Yeah.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Bringing the parchment paper is ridiculous.
Haley Carania
I think it's worth a conversation though. If your neighbor is got this fluorescent lighting on and it's bothering you, you're allowed to ask and say, hey, would you mind if we turned this off and used smaller lights? This is a huge. The lighting thing. I see this on Tik Tok a lot. Again, this is a generational thing. Younger people are really getting like red pilled by.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I mean, I hate little light. I hate big lights. Like in our household, the overs do not come on. We have lamps. We have, we have lamps. I don't.
Haley Carania
Lamps, candles.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
You know, I'm very much against like the bedroom fan light. Never at the office. I'm. You're paying my bills. I don't. I'll do whatever.
Haley Carania
Right.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I have to work in pitch black. I'll figure it out.
Haley Carania
I also think there's something to be said for working in the dark and what impact that has on your health,
Co-host or Guest Commentator
your eye health, drowsy and sleepy and all that. Right.
Haley Carania
And here's the thing. You have to stare at this damaging blue light anyway. So does it matter if you're staring at damaging blue light under fluorescent light or if you're in the dark, are your eyes being strained that much more if you're in the dark again, you can adjust the color temperature on your devices if you want. You can, you can, you can adjust the brightness level so you're not necessarily straining your eyes if you can tailor it to what you want.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
For sure. I've been really lucky. I've also worked at a lot of places that have had really big windows. So you can leave the lights off for that crowd.
Haley Carania
And you're not in the dark.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Yeah, you're not in the, you're not in the absolute dark.
Haley Carania
Yeah, when I'm at home, I don't turn any big lights on.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I don't like trying to create like a teepee that she is over there. That feels ridiculous.
Haley Carania
It is ridiculous. And when I saw this, I was immediately not on her side. I thought, you're annoying. You're doing this because it's almost selfish to think of yourself rather than the collective. You're going to turn the light, you're, you're not going to ask to turn the light off. You're going to try to compromise with your neighbor and then put up this apparatus on top, which is even more distracting. I feel like I would if I was the millennial co worker next to the Gen Z and I saw this thing being built next to me. I'd be eye rolling.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I'd be eye rolling or I'd fold. And that's how people win, how the
Haley Carania
right just be annoying.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Be annoying.
Haley Carania
I guess this is a, this is another debate. We'll do one last one. So we could fight about this, but this is an airplane debate which we've talked about before. You know, I love my airplane chaos stories and my airplane debate stories, but this woman is asking about to recline or not to recline thoughts on the person in front of you putting their seat back on a one hour flight when you have a six month old baby on your lap. So that's the question. To recline or not to recline. Is the person in front of this mom the a hole immediately? No. In my opinion, you're allowed to recline on the seat. You are allowed to recline because what you seem shocked with the baby on her lap? I don't look who's behind me.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I'm saying all she has to do is say, hey, I have my 6 month year old as a lap child. Can you not donk him on the head with your chair, please. And I feel like problem resolved.
Haley Carania
The mom can recline. No one's stopping the mom from reclining. People get mad. People get mad because the person in front of them reclines and they don't want to. Okay, you could fix that. And you. It's like, you're like this, but you're like this.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Yeah, it lays your. Your back. Back, but it doesn't change the position of your lap where the child.
Haley Carania
It's also. This debate is so frustrating to me because people are acting like plane seats actually recline. They don't recline enough, in my opinion. Airplane seats recline, and it's like that, and people are complaining about it. It's so, like, you're soft.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I had one guy one time, I was trying to do some work, and he kept pushing back and it would close my lap.
Haley Carania
Oh, that's annoying.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I just closed my laptop.
Haley Carania
Yeah, it's like, well, I'm not working.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Yeah, I'm really bad at confrontation.
Haley Carania
I never get good work done on an airplane anyway. Partly because I don't want people looking at my laptop and seeing what I'm working on. Not that people care, but some people are kind of nosy, and I work on some sensitive topics.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Oh, I. I very much snoop on what people are writing on.
Haley Carania
So when I'm, you know, if I'm working on this show and I'm talking about politics and whatnot, and I'm writing and doing research, I don't really want them up in my business. And certainly, like, I'm writing a book right now, and it's a sensitive topic, so I don't want people looking at my business. Basically, I would have to get a screen. What are they called? Screen protectors.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Yeah, I think that.
Haley Carania
Privacy screen.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Privacy screen. And even then, those are so annoying.
Haley Carania
It's annoying. So I just choose not to work on airplanes. But, yeah, to that. I mean, again, all of these TikToks, you don't need. You don't need to post a TikTok. You could just, like you said, ask the person in front of you, hey, would you mind? I have this situation. But just be prepared for people on airplanes to say, no, I don't care about you and your baby. If someone asked me, hey, I have a baby, of course I would unrecline the chair. I would. But I think people are getting a little ridiculous. It's not like the seat is reclining that much. You can get over it. Yeah.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
I also feel like I'm in the minority where I. I just would fold so quick. Yeah, absolutely. Whatever. I. I'm not looking for confrontation. I think more people are looking for confrontation in this world.
Haley Carania
Agreed.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
Than aren't.
Haley Carania
And they're looking to go on TikTok and find, you know, 60,000 people that find this video and agree with them and make them feel like the cool queen, you know, that's what this is all about. It's really. It's about attention. It's about a conversation starter, which, again, we're having the conversation right now. So we fall into the rage bait every time on this show. But I just think it's really not that big of a deal. Someone in the chat said, I never fly. And on that note, you know, you never have to deal with people. You. You never have to deal with anything, really. If you never. If you don't download social media, you don't leave your house, you can eliminate a lot of problems in life.
Co-host or Guest Commentator
You won. You beat the game.
Haley Carania
You never have to deal with airplane chaos if you never fly. So on that note, thank you for scrolling along with me today. We've got I even some more videos that we didn't get to today, so that I guess we'll do on tomorrow or Friday.

My platoon went home early, and I just went up to my chief and I was like, I'm not going home. Turns out I'm staying.
