Wow Bethany. Wow. We got a new statement from Blake Lively. She's breaking her silence celebrating her victory and I have an exclusive statement from Brian Friedman in response, plus some additional details that I have been digging up this morning. So much to get into. We now have the settlement that has officially hit the docket. But it's getting messy and I predict the Judge Lyman is not going to be happy today. So take a deep breath. Let's dive in. This is no Filter with Zach Peter your go to source for all the latest pop culture and reality TVT Surf fresh all week long. Now let's dive in. What's going on everybody? Welcome on in. Welcome on in. Welcome on in everybody in the club.

I'm tired.

Oh I didn't even make it to the gym this morning because my body was just so physically tired and exhausted and I was like hitting it hard at the gym all week. And then today I was like I'm gonna do a light workout and I was like, my body physically just can't even. Just the roller coasters, the ups, the downs, the highs, the lows, the Blake of it all. Oh, my God. She's, like, spinning my head in a whirlwind because she is now out here celebrating her official victory. She's. She's celebrating her victory. You guys. It's. It's quite delusional. I. Like I said time and time again, the depths of her delusion know no bounds. We have some new statements that both parties have issued, and I am told. I'm just gonna tell you guys right now. I got some. Some. Some info on background, and apparently we will be hearing from Justin Baldoni and Jamie Heath very soon. It seems like Blake has officially pushed them to make a statement. Sources are telling me that the Wayfarer team is going to address why they chose not to go to court, and they are ready to tell their side of the story. So just know, I guess at this, we saw Baldoni. He was walking with his wife getting some coffee yesterday, and they looked cute and cozy. They had, like, some fun. Some. Some cute jeans on and just kind of like a little cozy look. Obviously, paparazzi caught. I would imagine probably a paparazzi plant, but I'm exhausted. I feel like the Wayfarer parties probably felt like this was some sort of victory, being that it seems like Blake is the one that she is the one that wanted this settlement. And I imagine that happened after her case got gutted by the judge and her defamation and toxic workplace and sexual harassment claims all got tossed out. I did Billy Bush this morning again. Every day I wake up, and it's like a new storm, a new disaster. So when Steve at Billy Bush's show texts me, and he's like, can you come on? And I was like, sure. He's like, can you come on in five minutes? I was like, sure. And so I, like, had to just hop onto Billy's show, and then now here I am on my show, and we're getting all of these pieces as they're coming together. But from what I've gathered, it seems like Billy and I are both convinced, pretty sure that. And this will likely come out at some point. I hope in some way. There will need to be a digging into some. Some forensic accounting, but it seems like there was likely some money that was paid out to Baldoni, whether directly or in probably indirectly. Billy seems to think that there was, like, a charity or some sort of donation or payment that was made somewhere that was likely to kind of be like, A hidden payment that was made on behalf of Blake Lively and her team. And it's just. It's crazy. It's crazy. It's crazy. It's crazy. But let's get into these statements, because Blake Lively, statement. I'm just. I'm warning you right now. Trigger warning. You're about to get pissed. You're about to Teresa Giudice, flip a table. Because I know I was done. Damn. Ready to flip a table when I saw this new Deadline article that, of course, all the Blake bots are going around and parading. I'm again, am warning you that you are about to be sick to your stomach when you see just the level of delusion and just insanity. So, first of all, well, we saw Baldoni and his wife Emily start and getting coffee. I had imagined that that was totally, you know, planted, but I don't blame them for it. He needed to make some sort of statement, and it was much better than Blake's, right? Blake was out there walking the Met Gala, and she's like, you know, bossing all of the little minions around, and she's like, hold my dress. Stretch it. And then words she's never told Ryan Reynolds, stretch it out. And then she went up to Lala Anthony, and she's like, oh, my God. And my kids. My kids are in my purse. And I just. You know, I'm so shy. And I'm like, okay, yeah, you're so shy. Strutting down with this giant ball gown, strutting up the stairs of the Met Gala, posing for all of the photographers and doing an interview with Vogue, with Lala Anthony at Vogue. And yet you are shy. And I'm also. I've also been told, according to my sources, that Blake Lively was actually not on the. The list for that night. The. Not the guest list, but she wasn't on the press list. So usually with the press, they get this packet that has all the names and all the photos of all of the celebrities that will be attending that night, so that when they take their photo, like, when Getty Images or whoever takes their photo, they know who it is, and they know who to credit that person as, right? So usually the person, like, someone comes out and they're like, oh, this is now Billy Bush walking in. And then they have a little sign that has Billy's name, so you know exactly how to spell it. And then Billy walks in. And so I. I've heard that Blake was not on that list. So the press was not expecting Blake to be there, I assume. Lala Anthony was also not expecting Blake to be there. And it was like, oh, wow, we got to pull this together. We got to figure this out. So. But in, you know, true Blake and Ryan fashion, they ended up posting this very similar smug selfie on their Instagram. Just, like, cute makeup free, just, like, smiling. And this, to me, is just quintessential bullying trolling. Like, ha ha ha, ha ha. We won. We're happy. I mean, strutting at the Met Gala, posting photos with your. Your. I mean, this photo disgusts me. I look at these people, and I am visibly disgusted by the lengths that we have seen them go through just to hold control and hold power. They know Baldoni didn't harass them. At this point, I'm not even going to pretend that they even believed that these harassment claims were real, because I think at this point, they know deep down that they were not real. They were totally fake BS bull claims that they were trying to use to bury Baldoni because there was something in him that triggered them. And so now here they are trying to act big and bad and smug, and they're like, oh, my God, we're just. We're winning. Hashtag winning. Hashtag drinking tiger blood. F all the way off. Okay, I'm waiting for the 15 minute marks that YouTube doesn't flag me for cursing, but I want you to F all the way off. As Ariana Maddox told Raquel Levis, screw yourself with a cactus or no, with the cheese grater. That's what she said. My words are cactus. But cheese grater, if that feels appropriate to you, then you do that. Like the fact that they just keep doubling down. They don't care about the reputation. Like, the smear campaign is not even real anymore because now they're causing and perpetuating the. Their own smear campaign. Like, this is your reaction. And of course, all the delusional Blakebots are out there like, oh, my God. Hashtag winning. Hashtag, oh, you guys are sick. You're delusional. You have a mental illness, and there's no reasoning with you. You are just truly delusional. And you can eat the scraps that your queen gives you. But this is the latest statement that Blake Lively's team has issued. I'm giving you a trigger warning now just because, again, there's. This is nothing of a true victim. This is not somebody that is speaking up or trying to be a champion for women. It's smug. And the smugness just proves that they are Hollywood bullies that will do anything because they have money and they have power and they have privilege, and they will stomp on anyone they have to to continue to, you know, exude that. So anybody that says understands them. Again, mental illness, delusional. I hope you're never put in a position where you get harassed, truly. And if you have, I don't know how you can look at this woman as your queen. But again, these are people that don't have discernment. They don't have critical thinking skills, and they are truly mentally disabled that I'm sure are at home collecting their disabled checks and crying to their therapist week after week. Okay? I mean, that's. Let's be honest. That's how. Ex patriarch. That's the only way he knows how to get his wife wet is with his tears. His big, manly tears that he cries every night. Okay? Blake Lively. This is her attorney's response. This is attributed to the Blake Lively attorneys. In response, they say their new statement this morning that was published all over the place, specifically in Deadline, that wrote a scathing new article. This settlement is a resounding victory for Blake Lively. Again, the delusion knows no depths. By agreeing to this settlement and waiving their right to appeal, Justin Baldoni and every individual defendant now face personal liability for abusing the legal system to silence and intimidate Ms. Lively. And by admitting that Ms. Lively's concerns deserve to be heard, the defendants have ended once and for all the fiction that Ms. Lively fabricated. Claims of sexual harassment and retaliation from day one. Blake Lively's mission was clear. Expose and hold accountable those who weaponize smear campaigns and retaliatory lawsuits to intimidate and silence survivors. That mission contains. You are fucking full of bullshit, okay? There's bullshit coming out of your ears, Blake Lively. The bullshit is diarrhea spewing out of your ears. And you know what? Spewing out of your nose. I hope you taste it. And I hope you taste how disgusting you are, okay? Because this is sick. The way that they are flipping and twisting this narrative is truly diabolical and is so offensive. And that's why you see so many true survivors that I believe are the true champions in all of this. And I hope you continue to speak out and I hope you continue to express your genuine disdain and outrage for this woman who is making a mockery of sexual harassment. She is an embarrassment to every single survivor that is out there because she is completely twisting this into something that, one, it is not, and two, harming all the women and men in the process because she is not a true survivor. She is a Hollywood bully with a narcissistic complex that has no idea what it is to be put in that type of situation. Because she's never heard no. She's surrounded by yes people. She's had nothing but power and money and privilege that is just continuing to be spread, spewed out. Oh my gosh. Donna bowling. Give me a minute. Ah, Donna's texting me her outrage right now, and she doesn't know that I'm in the middle of a rant right now. Donna bowling. Um, it's just. This is sick. This is truly, truly diabolically sick. And it makes me sick to my stomach. But also, this is where I'm sorry, I'm gonna call out Baldoni and Jamie Heath and the Wayfair parties. Stop being the nice guy. Stop taking the higher road at this point. Get in the fucking vehicle and hit drive. Okay? I'm not saying you need to drive her off the road, but she is doing laps in her Ferrari because she can afford a fast Ferrari Ferrari with the helmet on and everything, okay? It's time you stop giving her everything that she wants. Nobody has ever told this fucking bitch no. And it's time that somebody finally puts her in her place. Okay? And this is unfortunately. And this is why I'm even pissed at the Wayfarer parties. And we'll get to the statement Brian Friedman shared, But this is where I'm upset with even the Wayfarer parties because they should have made this part of their settlement agreement. That, that, that the 47.1, you know, Blake Lively's fight for fees in his defamation claim. Because remember, there were two lawsuits. There's Justin Baldoni's defamation lawsuit against Blake Lively. And then there's Blake Lively's sexual harassment case against Justin Baldoni. Okay? Baldoni's case got dismissed. Now I believe he still has the right to appeal that. Again, it's gonna come down to what the settlement actually means and what the terms of the settlement actually are defined as. And this is where I think it's gonna become a fight that's going to end up in lineman's hands. What does it mean to not like for an appeal? What does it mean? Like, all the terminology is now gonna come into question because it seems Blake Lively's team came out and they tried. They, they tried. They pretended to play nice. And then after playing nice, issue this statement and post this selfie and are like, hahaha, we want. And I bet you anything Judge Lyman is not gonna like this. He got pissed off at Brian Friedman for playing games in the media and doing all the Hollywood theater theatrics at the very beginning. And now here we are again. And I think Lyman is not going to be happy about this at all. I think he's going to be pissed because now they're not going to have to battle this out at trial. My understanding from the attorneys that I've heard from my understanding is that now that there is a settlement agreement and the settlement agreement has hit the docket, it's now going to come down to which pieces of the settlement agreement are enforceable. And so now this is going to be a battle of the settlement agreement rather than the trial at court or the battle in court at trial with the jury. So it's not gonna be determined by a jury. I think a lot of this is gonna fall into the hands of Lyman. And based off of the statement, is it in here legal system? No, there's another piece of. That was. Part of the. Part of this is in the Deadline article. And this is from Sigrid. So Sigrid McCauley says it pulls Mr. Baldoni, Mr. Heath, Mr. Sarewitz, Jen Abel, Melissa Nathan, and all the Wayfarer parties we have on this issue. And they will have to face whatever punishment Judge Lyman finds appropriate under this new law. They waive their right to an appeal. In other words, this will be the final judgment by this court, and it will not be able. And they will not be able to hold things up with years of appeals. So this goes back to Baldoni's lawsuit against Blake Lively. That was a defamation lawsuit. Okay. And remember, that got dismissed. He did. He does have a right to appeal. But. But it seems like based off of the settlement, it was. My understanding is it looks like it was supposed to be like a handshake deal. I won't come after you, you won't come after me. We're gonna drop it moving forward. We're not gonna appeal anything. We're not gonna come after each other. It's done. We'll be allowed to talk about it. We'll be allowed to share each other's stories. But at this point, it is done. And so now it seems like this is going to continue in terms of what the settlement is, what it means, what the terms are gonna be defined as. Should they have been defined prior? Like, it's about to get a lot messier. And I have a feeling Judge Lyman's going to be pissed because not only are they now having. Are going to have him have to weigh in, in terms of which Pieces of the settlement agreement will be legally binding. Right. Because now it seems like they have a different interpretation of what the settlement means. But then you have Sigrid's statement that says that this will now be in the hands of Judge Lyman and that the Wayfarer parties will have to face whatever punishment Judge Lyman finds appropriate under this new law. 47.1 has not been litigated in court like this before. So Judge Lyman is now going to have to make some unprecedented decisions in an unprecedented case that will ultimately determine how these laws are used and applied moving forward. Which is a really fucked up position to put Lyman in because his decision ultimately affects how people are able to utilize or weaponize this law moving forward. It's a really bad position that they've put him in and they've backed him into a corner. And I imagine he. He is not going to be happy about this. The. And this is how, you know, her attorneys are in such a bad position is because they're having to stoop this low and play these games. And it's just. It's not a good look. It's not a good look. Um, Zach. Read the settlement, Judge. Read the settlement, Judge. Just signed on the docket. Oh, this. Is there a new settlement that just hit the docket? Let me see. I have the settlement that hit the docket this morning that I was going to pull up, but is there a new one that's now just come in? Okay, let's see. This is just honestly crazy, Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy. Okay, I believe it's okay. Federal cleansing fail. Okay, Absolutely clear. This is. I don't think anything. Okay, it looks like the last one. Is this Notice of settlement and joint stipulations. Okay, so this is the same one I have. So it, it hit the docket a couple of hours ago. Okay. Actually, before we get into that, let me give some lurve in the clerb to this week's sponsor and then we'll read. We'll read that statement. Cause it does not look like a newer statement has come in from the one that dropped earlier this morning. So I'll read that in just a sec and we'll get to Brian Friedman's response. your mattress may be the problem and it may be time for an upgrade. Right now, save up to 20% on mattresses when you go to Casper.com one last time. That's Casper C-A S P E R.com and save up to 20% on the mattress you deserve. Oh, okay, here we go. Let's pull up the statement. Or, sorry, the settlement agreement. That way we have that here and we can review this together. Okay, so it says notice of settlement. I believe this is the one that Judge Lyman signed. Is like. Okay, got it. Here you Notice of settlement and joint stipulation pursuant to a settlement agreement and through their undesired counsel, Blake Lively on on the one hand. And Wayfair Studios, llc. It ends with this Movie LLC Justin Baldioni, Jamie Heath, Steve Zarowitz the Agency Group pr Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel on the other hand, the Wayfair parties, collectively, the stipulating parties hereby stipulate and agree as follows with respect to the above captioned action, number 24cv lively's action, the Wayfarer action, and collectively, the consolidated action. So if it says the Lively action and the Wayfarer action, what did that mean? Both of their lawsuits? That would be my understanding of it. I don't know. The stipulating parties hereby irrevocably waive any appeal of any orders in the consolidated action. Okay, so any appeal in any orders. Got it. Including without limited to any appeal by the Wayfarer parties on the order on the. On the order on the motion to dismiss. K. Notwithstanding anything here and to the contrary, the stipulating parties acknowledge and agree that Blake Lively does not release and retains all claims, rights and remedies in connection with her motion for attorney's fees, tribal damages, and punitive damages under California civil code section 4700 in the Wayfare action. Okay, so they're stipulating that that is the one thing that they're allowing to move forward. The stipulating parties agreed that the 47.1 motion is not withdrawn and remains pending before the court. The stipulating parties further agree that they thereby irrevocably waive any appeal from the court's determination on the 47.1 motion. This is a big win for Blake. The Lively action is dismissed with prejudice as between the stipulating parties pursuant to the federal civil procedure dated May 7th. Signature as follows. This is. I mean, listen, I'm not gonna lie. That does come off as a big win for Blake Lively. So I understand why she then issued this statement, like, saying, I won. I want. I want. Even though her case was dismissed. But she's now seeking her attorney's fees for his defamation lawsuit. I'm surprised that they didn't, like, say no to that. I'm surprised that they're allowing that to move forward and that they explicitly allowed that to be said in the settlement. So this is Brian Friedman's response. And like I said, I have been told on background, on good authority, that we will be hearing from the Wayfarer parties soon. I believe Justin Baldoni and Jamie Heath will be speaking out. So basically, they can both sue each other for legal fees then, I would imagine. But, yeah, I mean, it's possible that they can file their motion against Blake Lively for their legal fees. That would be a separate stipulation, but I don't know. Oh, see, girl, it's a new law in California that Blake is trying to get used for treble damages. Yeah, that's the thing. That's the issue is they're putting Lyman in a really tough position. They're backing him into a corner, and I don't know how this is gonna. How this is gonna play out. 47.1 would allow triple damages for Blake. Yes. And treble damages means three times. So the damages times three. So I don't know. It's gonna be crazy. But also. Okay, so if. If they've now litigated, and there it's estimated that it's what, about 60 million amongst the two of them? Let's just split that evenly and say they've both paid 30 million. But that's over the course of almost two years. But his case got dismissed last year, so she would only be able to fight for attorneys fees between. When did his case get dismissed? In April. April or June. Can somebody remind me of when Baldoni's case got lit? Actually, Wait. What did Nag say? Nag is not impressed with this. Yeah, no, it's a terrible settlement agreement. I can't believe they agreed to still allow her to move forward with that. Because she could. Technically. I mean, again, it just depends on what the judge will ultimately say. Okay, so it looks like Justin Baldoni's Lawsuit was when? Okay, where? In June. So it looks like. So she would likely only be able to collect her legal fees from December to, I assume, June, because that's when she was litigating that piece of it. So if it's so, we're probably looking at maybe 10 million. 10 times 3. They maybe have to pay her out 30 million. I don't know. We'll have to see. But here's Brian Friedman's response to all of it, which I'm not. And be honest, I'm not loving his response to this either, because it doesn't really tell us much. But it says, let's be clear, this is a win and total victory for the Wayfarer parties. The court has already dismissed 10 of Ms. Lively's claims, 10 of Ms. Lively's 13 claims, including every sexual harassment claim, every defamation claim, and all claims against the individual defendants. Ms. Lively voluntarily dismissed the rest. In our view, they settled because they knew that they were going to lose in court. All that remains is a pending request for fees based on a very narrow issue that has been with the court since September of 2025. That is correct. That is when she filed for her fees was in September of last year, after the case was dismissed in June of last year. I don't. I don't know. Settlements suck because you don't get to know shit. I know. And I don't know where this is going to go. 47.1 relies on evidence, which makes no sense for the judge to grant since there will be no trial. That's the thing is, it's a really big decision that the judge is going to have to make. And I don't know if he's going to award treble damages or if he's going to. He may award Blake Lively her attorney's fees because technically. Well, I don't know, because Beldoni did have an opportunity to appeal, but he agreed not to appeal. The judge may say it's a wash and let it go. But the thing is, for me, and I think I said this on Billy Bush, is regardless of what happens is next, right. She's already planted this statement. She's already planted this narrative. She's already laid down that foundation that this is a win for her because she's going to be. But I mean, it's not really a win for her if you really think about it, Right? Let's take our motion out of this and think about this objectively. It's not really a win for her. There may be a payout that The Wayfarer parties need to pay based and. But again, that's ultimately whether or not the judge determines that she deserves her attorney's fees in that case, which he may not. Right. He made rule and say, listen, no, neither of you get attorney's fees. This is a wash. I don't know how those types of things typically happen, but I don't think that this is a bad thing. I think she's spinning it in a positive way by saying the judge is going to rule and all the parties will legal will personally be responsible for paying this, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But I don't know if this is really the win that. That she's claiming that it is, because I think the Wayfair parties are correct. Like, her case was dismissed. Her case was gutted. Her. The judge dismissed majority of her claims. She released her smear campaign claims. She wasn't able to prove anything. There was no evidence that she ever had that proved any of her claims. And the sexual harassment retaliate or the sexual harassment defamation, and what was the third? The toxic workplace. Like, all of those things didn't meet the legal criteria to move forward. So she may be spinning this as a win, but it's not a win at all. Now that I'm like, talking myself through this. She lost. Friedman is right. Her case was obliterated. There was no way. She had no evidence to prove any of her cases. Even the smear campaign. She withdrew that because she knew she wouldn't be able to prove that in a court of law. She knew she wouldn't be able to convince a jury that she was in the right. Now, the Wayfarer parties should have still gone to trial, but I don't know. We'll see. We will see. We will see. We will see. Yes. Hit the like button. Hit the subscribe button. You're right, Selma. She's not winning. Hit the like button. Guys, if you have a genuine disdain for Blake Lively and you collectively agree, hit the like button right now. If you are watching this live on YouTube, hit the like button. There's 5, 1500 people watching right now. Hit that like button. If you have a genuine disdain for Blake Lively, a baseless complaint can be bad legal advice. That doesn't mean it's retaliatory. According to people that went to the hearing. Lyman said something like that. Yeah, I don't know, Zach. When do you think Lyman will speak on this? I think he's fucking pissed about all of this. The judge will say no. I'm hoping the judge says no, because there's no real reason. But this is the last card she had to play. I said this on Billy Bush's show, too. This was the last possible card she had was to flip anything in her favor. And it's true. That's why as much as I was so angry and still am kind of angry about how sloppy or annoying all of this is, she's always going to find a way to flip the narrative and err on the side of what makes her look good and eliminate all types of context. Right. To. It's all rage bait at this point. So I don't think that this is a win for her. I don't. Now that we've talked ourselves through this. She lost her career. Yeah. What a win. Yeah, that too. She also lost her career. Yeah, but she's already. Yeah, but already some headlines are spinning. We knew they would. But now it's going to be a mainstream media spin with the 47.1 BS again. Well, until we have a ruling on it. Right. And a judge may not rule in her favor. And I hope those same media outlets are able to still hold that same level of accountability. Okay, let's see. Jones, Jones Mercado 6296 says this is why settling was a horrible idea. Yes and no. Because, I mean, Friedman is right. Her case was obliterated. She had no case. And now she's admitted that she couldn't prove her case and she had no evidence to be able to prove that case. Kayla says, I personally believe that Justin and Jamie are going to go on their podcast and do a literal tell all. I think Blake forgot that they could make their own statements from their own mouths now. Fingers crossed. I. That's what I projected, that Jamie and Justin will do a joint podcast together. And I think that's the only forum or medium that they can do that will really be effective. Is the two of them just humbly sitting down together telling their side of the story? Like I said, I would gladly interview them. Just throwing my name out there. Jennifer Abel, if you're watching this. Melissa Nathan, if you're watching this. I actually have been a professional interviewer for a long time before I was live streaming pop culture news every day. So I, I genuinely would love to throw my hat in that ring. I would gladly do. Do the interview justice. But whatever strategy they put together, I do think the smartest thing for them to do is to. I think that's. That's the new trend. We need to start. Zach Peter for the official Beldoni Interview Zach Peter for the official Beldoni interview. I don't think we'll get like a real tell all until this is all said and done. Right. Until the judge makes a decision on 47.1. We'll have to see. We'll have to wait and see. I would love if you interviewed just. I would too, manifesting it for you. You're a great interview. Listen, that's what happened with the Erika Jayne interview. A lot of people said I would never get the interview when I was covering the Tom Girardi embezzlement scandal and it took three years. But I was the first one, the first night, I want to say the only one that got a one hour sit down with Erica to get into all of that, to talk about her marriage, talk about the legalities, talk about housewives. Like I got her to open up about all of that. I think I'm the only one that actually got that one hour sit down interview. And I was very grateful for that. So I'm not losing faith just yet. I can see Blake doing an interview. Blake? Yeah, she'll be portraying herself as a victim forever. Blake will want to do like a. Who do you think Blake will do? I don't think she'll do like the squeeze. I don't think she'll do. Call her daddy. No, I think call her daddy. I think Blake thinks is too low brow for her. Blake likes mainstream press. Is Chelsea anti Blake? Chelsea Handler? I believe so. Justin Anderson posted a really funny video where he was making fun of Blake being like, oh my God, I'm so shy. And he's just like, blake, Blake, Blake, knock it off. It was really funny. I love Justin Anderson. Shout out to Justin. But he posted that video and I did see that Chelsea Handler commented and she was laughing about that. Nick Viall. No, I don't think she'll do Nick Viall. Adam, the doctor went on Piers Morgan. Yes. Adam Monchin. He played the doctor, the OB gyn in It Ends with Us. And he came out very much in support of Baldoni. Pro Baldoni. He was there during the birthing scene that Blake performed. She was like, I was naked and she was not naked. So yeah. Zach, did you talk about not actually Golden's reaction? I'm. She is so pissed at Blake's lawyer. Let's watch. Not actually Golden's reaction. Actually, I think I have that. That here somewhere. I have not seen it. So I'm just going to preface it by saying I have not seen this yet. Okay. But we are going to put it on two times speed. Because I. I love that not actually golden Bar videos are so long. They're so long. I'm like, girlfriend, I just. And we don't need. Just because we're allowed to post 10 minute videos doesn't mean we should. That's why I always keep all of my videos, my reels and TikToks under three minutes. Because I'm like, let's not ramble. Let's get as much as we possibly can. But I do love not actually golden. Okay, so she is pissed. Okay, well, let's. I. Let's. Let's see this. Let's watch this video together and then we'll get into the other news that I wanted to touch on. Gwyneth Paltrow was one of them. And, oh, this hot Lana virus I want to talk about. But first, let's. Let's do not actually golden.
G
All right, guys, I'm still working against this deadline. I don't have a lot of time, so I'm just gonna double up my time and talk you out this one.
D
I'm sorry.
E
It's janky.
D
Okay.
G
No, this isn't normal. Yes, this is probably what they've been doing for the past couple of days that likely wanted to carve out the 47.1 motion. It is stupid for many reasons, the first of which is that the 47.1 motion is based on evidence.
D
Right.
G
It is a substantive motion. And it was not clear from the earlier briefing because there's never been any case on this before. It's still not clear as to whether one has to have an evident rehearing before a motion like this can be granted. And there's a pretty good argument that if you're going to award somebody tens of millions of dollars of attorney fees, you're going to want to have an evidential hearing first with the judge actually taking evidence and not just relying on whatever is on the record. He's going to want to determine what's hearsay and what's not. He's going to determine what's admissible and what's not.
E
Okay, so sorry. I did slow it down a little because people like, it's too fast. I can't understand it. I'm just so used to watching things on. On two times speed. But so basically she's saying that 47.1, you would need evidence to be able to prove that in order to get that. And unfortunately, Blake doesn't have evidence. But the thing that I think they're leaning on is the fact that in Their statement, the Wayfair parties, their statement says that they believe that Blake Lively's concerns should have been heard. But that doesn't mean that they say that her concerns are valid. They just say, sweetie, there's a comment box. You can write all of your concerns and drop them in the comment box. That's basically what the statement said. But of course, her and her bots are going to twist it in a different way. But so it seems like not actually golden is saying that evidence needs to determine whether or not 47.1 should even apply.
G
And by settling her case and not going to trial, Lively just gave up her right to have an evidentiary hearing. The trial would have been the evidentiary hearing. So what she is essentially saying here is, your honor, I don't want to go to trial as we have scheduled, but I'd really like you to hold a totally separate proceeding so that we can work this out, which is absolutely bananas.
E
Bananas.
G
Now, I know a lot of people are saying, why would Wayfair agree to this? I think that Wayfair agreed to carve this out of the settlement because they know that she is going to lose the judge.
E
Because, again, she does things based off of the optics. We have to remember that. Remember, she's rage baiting us. She does things based off of the optics. Okay, Zach, you should put on her newest video. She has another one. Another one? Thank you. I didn't know she had another one. Okay, but let's let me pull up the other one while we listen to this one.
G
The judge didn't want to do this to begin with, and now he won't have the potential of. Let's just say that Lively had gone to trial and gotten a judgment that said she was retaliated against by these people and that the Wayfarer case and complaint was part of the retaliation campaign. Campaign. Now he's got something he could potentially base this ruling on. But she gave that up. It's gone. Now, of course, Gottlieb is gonna. Gottlieb? I've thought it the entire case, and I think now this guy has the biggest client control problem. I am starting to wonder, and this is pure speculation, but I'm starting to wonder if Reynolds is so mad that they had to settle that he's refusing to pay his attorney's fees and that this is the only way that Gottlieb has to try to get them paid. I don't know, but this reeks of desperation. And the judge may what they're asking for in this letter is to even let the judge hear them. Right. Hey, we'd like to file another brief to update you. The judge may say, go yourself. No, I don't even want to hear this. Or he may say, okay, go ahead and then read it and say, no. I mean, there's always a chance, but I think the chances are infinitesimally small. And if you. If you try to look at it from this PR perspective of what about the victims, Right? Like, maybe she's trying to show that she gives a. About victims. She tried. I think that's really the only angle that makes sense, other than they're refusing to pay their lawyers, is, well, I took that motion all the way to the end. The thing that this was really about, which was me speaking out about sexual misconduct. I took. I took that all the way to the end.
E
That's an interesting theory. That they think that that. Or that she thinks that it's possible that Blake and Ryan are not paying their attorney's fees, and this is how the attorneys plan to get their fees is because they would have to go through. They have to go through, like, this litigation to fight for their attorney's fees. It's very possible. And it could be the attorneys that are trying to push that forward. They're like, well, shit, we need to get paid. Okay, let's watch Nag's newest video, since apparently there's a new one that we need to see. Okay.
D
I ranted on Patreon because I'm behind the paywall there, so I can say what I want. But I feel a responsibility as someone who makes legal content and holds myself out, as somebody who has legal ethics to speak to what I see here and to share my opinion about what I see here. Send me a cease and desist if you want to, you guys. I really don't care.
E
Okay, Mag.
D
To enter into a joint statement about the end of a case and say, you know, they. They argued over that language forever about domestic violence victims and the. Ms. Lively's right to be heard in workplace and all that, to put your name on that as a resolution matter, and then three days later, to come out and say, this settlement is a resounding victory for my client is embarrassing to me as lawyer because this is why people hate us. This is why people think we're sneaky and liars because of behavior like this. In my opinion, this is completely unethical and immoral. It doesn't matter what I think. They can, you know, deal with their God, but, you know, it's clear. I think Like, I think we can assume what happened here, which is that she went to the Met Ball. That basically the Met Ball was the press tour two years later. Right. The Met Ball in 2026 was the it ends with US press tour of 2024 redux. I'll just go out there and be fancy and everyone will love me. Oh, no. People don't like it. We have to fix it. And so they pulled this rabbit out of a hat somewhere. I mean, the things that Sigrid is
E
saying
D
are not untrue. Like she's. She's right inside the lines. They are intended to mislead people. Of course they've waved their right to appeal. Well, so has she.
E
Yeah.
D
It will be the final judgment of this court because it's a combined case. And so the last thing that happens is the end of the case. Right. So I think it's intended to mislead, but it's not, you know, in terms of, like, could you say that it's inaccurate? I'm not sure that you could say it's inaccurate.
E
Right.
D
But to say that you're. First of all, is anyone gonna buy that? I don't know. People are running with it. The settlement when my client gave up her right to go to trial and prove her claims, that was a resounding victory for my client is an insane thing to say. But I think this is the one that's gonna stick with me. I mean, up until the last day or so, last couple of days, you know, I've seen all the evidence, right. I. I had formed, like, I think, who has a better case here and what I think the lawyers narratives are and who I think has what intentions. But when the case settled, I was like, you know, in the end, like, I got to be here and we all met each other and, you know, I was kind of like having this, like, I don't hate her. I'm never gonna watch anything of hers again. I'm never gonna watch anything of Ryan Reynolds again. I probably never would have anyway. But like, I, you know, I never get on here and bash her or call her evil or whatever.
E
I will. She's an evil.
D
But that Met Ball thing, and this, that is another order of magnitude. And this sentence in this statement that was given to ET. And by admitting that Ms. Live is concerns deserve to be heard. The defendants have ended once and for
G
all
D
to enter into a joint statement under your own name. And then to use the language you agreed to, to say, by the way, that other party that we agreed to settle this with Creeps use a joint settlement statement to then make your client look better. And not like generally, but specifically is so beyond the pale that I don't even know how to it put words to it, honestly. Now Fredman's down here saying like, you know about the, the Met gala, like, I don't know, whatever you need. I expect that there will be something from Wayfair on the docket later today talking to the judge about this 47.1 stuff. But as a matter of fact, of who lawyers are and what they do, I feel it very important to let people know that this is not who most of us are. Most of us, when we make a statement and we give our word, it means something.
E
Yeah.
D
And most of us, when we enter into an agreement on behalf of our clients and we say this is what everybody's going to say in public, we stick to it. It's embarrassing. It is embarrassing for them to go out there and say with their names on it, this is a resounding victory for her. They have given up every shred of credibility that I was willing to give them ever. They have sold their souls.
E
Yep.
D
They're legal souls for this case. I just want people to know because I get questions. I've gotten questions from the very first minute of is this an ethical thing for lawyers to do? Is this an appropriate thing for lawyers to do? And my answer most of the time is it's a hard question.
E
Yeah.
D
Because legal ethics are complicated and gray and it's all very fact dependent and there are very few hard and fast rules because we are expected to regulate ourselves and we are expected to be smart enough and capable enough to know where the lines are. And some people push those lines and sometimes they push them in a way that you're like, okay, I guess that's kind of necessary. And sometimes they push them further than that. This is a level of pushing the lines that to me, there is no question as to whether this is a proper use of ones legal license. Not saying they should have their licenses taken away. I'm just saying I no longer have any respect at all for either one of these people. I had some. I had some because I can appreciate like they were well written briefs and you know, that kind of stuff. But with this, No. And so it's okay if you feel that way, because I feel that way. I'm a woman and a lawyer. That woman doesn't speak for me and those lawyers don't represent me. I just want it on the record.
E
I feel her. I'm not a Lawyer. I'm not a woman, but I feel her like it just. It makes a mockery of victims. I said this on Billy Bush's show yesterday when Donna Bolling and I were on. You know, I. It used to really bother me, I guess I should say, when people would say that I'm a misogynist or that I hate women, because that couldn't be further from the truth. I was raised by women. I was surrounded by incredibly strong, independent women. You know, the men in my life just always kind of fell short or just weren't the breadwinners or weren't the ones that held the household together. They weren't the hard workers, or they were to a degree. But it was the women in the household that I grew up with that really held it down. You know, that's why I have such great relationships with both of my grandmothers. One of them who was very, extremely close to who has passed on, and then another who is still alive. And then I have, you know, my mother, who raised me when she had me in high school. You know, I watched all of my aunts go on. My aunt Gina did it single through a messy divorce. My aunt Amber did it on her own. You know, they had baby daddies that just weren't always there or not the most present or weren't the best dads. You know, I can even say my own father, even though I have a good relationship with him today. We're not particularly super close, and we didn't have a strong relationship growing up. He's always been my dad, but, you know, he was always kind of like, fun Disneyland dad. And so that's kind of how the men in my life showed up. And the women in my life were the ones that were putting food on the table. They were the ones that my grandmother was working late nights. My other grandmother was, you know, working her way up at the company to retire so that she could take care of the households. You know, my grandfather was an alcoholic, and so he, you know, made things challenging. My mother, my stepfather, was an alcoholic, and she, you know, really had to raise the kids. My brother had autism. Like, the women in my life are far so much superior than the men. So I've always stood up for women. I've always been a champion for women. And that's why when I see women that repulse me, like Blake Lively, I'm just like, how can you even call yourself a champion for women? You're an embarrassment. You're a joke. You are truly diabolical to your core. You are not a good person. Like, it's hard to believe. I'm somebody that always tries to err on the side of believing that, yes, evil exists in this world. But I never. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I try to have a lot of grace. You know, I understand that when people do bad things, even if the bad things they do are to you and are personal to you, it still is not about you. It's about them and whatever shit they have going on inside of them. And they just need to project it in whatever ways they need to project it because they don't have the tools or the resources to do it differently. Right. I believe that if people knew how to be better, they would. But sometimes people just don't know how. They don't have the skill set to be able to choose a different path because maybe they're just innately selfish, or maybe they're just innately self absorbed, or maybe they do have narcissistic tendencies or whatever it may be. And I believe that is the case with Blake Lively. I don't believe that she wakes up and chooses to be an evil person. But I believe that there is just. She was raised in a bubble of privileged and she was raised as a spoiled brat that never heard an know. So again, the faculties and the skill set and the, you know, resources that she had and has just don't allow for her to see beyond that. But at some point, you can still choose to be a better person. And it's disappointing to see that there are people like this that exist on this planet and that they are so diabolically just evil. Like, this is like, I feel nag when she's like, these attorneys have sold their soul for this case. I mean, I think we've now seen that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have. Have clearly don't have a soul. But to see the attorneys go to these lanes and these depths and to like, Sigrid, like, what. What an embarrassment. You stood up there and you try to defend the Epstein victims and you're a fucking joke. That's exactly what you are. Sigrid. You are not a champion for women. I don't know how you sleep at night, but you make me sick to my stomach every time I see your ugly fucking face. And I hate saying that about a woman, but you are not a woman. You are just a diabolical, evil human being. And the fact that you even try to pride yourself on standing up for the Epstein victims and then turn around and pull this shit, because again, as NAG said, there is a clear ethical violation of agreeing to a settlement statement and agreeing to putting a joint statement out there. And Brian Friedman came on this show. Brian Friedman spoke, as, you know, kindly as he possibly could, even when I asked him, what was your reaction to seeing Blake Lively at the Met gala? That was a perfect opportunity for him to take a jab at her. And he didn't. Right. And I know I keep saying that I wish the Wayfarer parties would stop taking the higher road. And it's hard because I understand why they do, and I want them to still stay in that lane, the higher lane. But I'm just like. But they keep playing these games, and it's like, how do you even fairly fight with somebody that has no moral compass, that has no ethics, that has no sense of. Of any sort of morality in this world? Like, are just disgusting, diabolical human beings that are just awful, you know, and secret to go out there and to push out that statement and make this as if it was a resounding win for Blake Lively. Like, it's just, again, I don't know how you sleep at night. I hope the money is worth it. I hope that every penny you got fills your empty soul, because that's what you've done. You've sold that soul to the devil, and your karma will come back to you. It will. At some point. I know so many people are like, I'm tired of the higher road. And I get it. I'm. I'm trying. I'm trying. You know, I think Wayfair just released a statement. They did. They issued. They issued the statement that I just shared with you, the statement that Friedman sent me. That's the statement here. That just reminds everybody, let's be clear. This is a win and a total victory for the Wayfarer parties. I mean, it is. Like, both statements are technically true, but to go into this, like, Blake statement is technically true, that she's taken some creative liberties and taken things a little out of context and twisted them in her favor. But, you know. Exactly. Karma. I know, but sometimes it's hard. Sometimes I don't want to wait for Karma. Sometimes I'm like, but this is just so wild. And this is not a smear campaign. Like, I'm not here because I want to smear this bitch. I just. I'm so sick of seeing her ugly, smug face and her husband. Her diabolical husband, too. All of these people, like, make you lose faith in humanity. So I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I did have some other news. I did want to get into Hotlanta Virus and I did want to talk about Gwyneth Paltrow, but I think at this point, I'm going to save those topics for tomorrow. I think I'm drained. This has been an emotional rollercoaster of a week. So I'm just going to move Gwyneth Paltrow and Hotlanta Virus over till tomorrow and hopefully that'll be a fun. I'll pop off on some other things. Zack Peter delivers the breakdown with characteristic unfiltered candor, raw emotion, and sarcastic humor. The episode is heavy on critique, outrage, and deep-dive legal/PR analysis, peppered with viral internet commentary (especially from “Not Actually Golden”). Zack repeatedly centers the experience of real victims, denouncing what he views as legal theater and manipulative PR spin. The tone is part investigative, part cathartic rant — with Zack openly commiserating with listeners about the exhaustion and injustice of “the Blake of it all.”
This episode is an essential listen for those following the high-profile Lively v. Baldoni legal saga — especially if you want a deeply unfiltered, emotionally charged interpretation that cuts through the media posturing. Zack makes it clear: the outcome is more complicated (and murkier) than any side’s press release would admit, and the lasting legacy may hinge on both legal precedent and the court of public opinion.
