these examples from the wine era. I did, like, a whole get to know me video on Instagram where I went back to. Cause people always ask, how did you start with the podcast? And I was like, well, it actually started. I grew up wanting to be an actor, and then I met actors in college when I was trying to become an actor. And I was like, these two people are terrible. I'm not gonna do this. And then I dipped into standup, and then I fell into podcasting. And then, you know, all of the books and the tours and the wine line and the products and all of

the stuff in between.

But I guess I haven't really. I mean, there are a lot of new people that came in from Blake

and Baldoni and that came in from

Obviously inspired by an infamous Jersey table flip.

I'm ready to mention it all. There's like an apple on there. I stole Kent's goddamn house. And there's a diamond on there. Um, it was really fun. It was a sparkling rose. It did so well. We launched in the summer that then I believe by the fall or by that winter, we ended up launching. I went on tour, and we launched a new collection that included both the

sparkling rose and a sparkling white wine.

And the goal was originally to develop a. A red. Like a chilled red wine, and, you know, to just kind of continue to evolve the brand. But my contract ended at the end of 2023, and I initially wanted to look for a new partner, and nobody was really buying into the idea that

canned beverages and canned wines were going

to be a thing. And I was like, no, but this model's working and so smart.

And it just ultimately kind of fell onto the back burner.

But it was a good time.

It was a lot of fun, so maybe I will bring it back.

You should pimp it out. You should absolutely, 100%, 1,000% get the photos so that I can use them in my marketing.

And listen, this was a perfect example because Lexi did say that Bethany has worn her stuff in the past. And this was, you know, a perfect example where Lexi could have, rather than pissing off Bethenny Frankel, she could have used this to actually promote her brand. Because here's the. Here's.

You know, she wasn't like, oh, I'm posing, guys, go buy this wine. Yes, she did do a story tag, but at these events, like, I strategically made sure I set it up so that there was reality stars that had my wine in hand. And, you know, Janice says, I think,

how to pronounce the brand. She wasn't like that familiar with the brand. But yeah, and listen, the shoes were all sold out. Lexi didn't have anything in stock. She's restocked everything because she's leveraging the moment, which also smart and drives brand awareness. But speaking of Bethenny Frankel, she just appeared on Emma Gerd's podcast, her Aspire podcast, and in it, she reveals that she makes over $20 million per year as an influencer. That's just her influencer, you know, just as, you know, pimping out products, brand

deals, endorsements, affiliate links, et cetera.

So as an influencer, she brings in $20 million.

That doesn't include, like, her real estate

Like I had the example I said yesterday, I think Lexi got a lot of attention, but I don't know how much customer retention. If Donna Bolling is in the live chat, I want Donna Bowling to stand up 10 toes down right now and reveal whether or not as much as she was willing to. Rah, rah. I hate Bethany. Did it drive you to buy shoes? I guarantee you 90% of the people that commented on this story did not purchase a single pair of $375 shoes from New Donna Bowling. Did you drop that over the weekend to Support Lexi's business because that will tell you whether or not that was a smart strategy for Lexi to make an enemy of Bethany Frankel rather than to actually make an ally of Bethany. The people that are ranting about Bethany Frankel and complaining and upset with Bethany, guess what? Are still going to give Bethany their attention moving forward. And it didn't actually provide real value to Lexi's business. So as much as Dena wants to come up into the comments and, and flex her, her, her chubby little fingers to call people out, sorry, not sorry. This was not a win for Lexi. This is more of a Bethany haterade train that everybody wants to jump onto to drink the haterade against Bethenny Frankel more than they really wanted to support Lexi's business. Your argument makes no sense. My argument again is about the Pro to con ratio with making decisions when it comes to your business on social media. Lexi had options to promote her business in a smart and strategic way. What she did completely screwed her in the end. I'm not saying that Bethany's right. I'm not saying that Bethany's wrong. Bethany's entitled to not post a link if she doesn't want to post a link. I've sent out product to people that did not post links, and it was disappointing. The risks are. And in this case, I think that this all rah rah uprise actually won in Bethany's favor. Because on the Aspire podcast, Bethany continues to say that, yes, she does get a lot of haters. But the thing is, those haters are driving attention to Bethany, which then continues to push Bethany's business forward. And Bethany continues to thrive, inspired, spite of the hate that she gets. So, again, I'm looking at it. Donna says I'm missing the whole point. What is the whole point again? I can only look at this from a business analysis perspective. So if the argument is about the dupe link, then the dupe link, you know, was driving product for a pro or was driving traffic to a product that was readily available. If people are asking, if people are like, hey, Zach, where do I buy this black shirt that you're wearing? I love this black shirt that you're wearing. And I'm like, well, actually the black shirt that I'm wearing is, you know, I don't know, is Voss Water's black shirt. But if you go on the Voss Water website, you can't buy the black shirt. Well, then you know what? Here's here are similar black shirts that you can get from Target or from Amazon. Like get a black shirt to get. To get the look. Because you like the look, then get the look. But if Voss Waters specific black shirt is not in stock, why would I link to a product page that people cannot purchase from if people are asking for that product?

The finale for Summer House was diabolical. Diab. I was gonna watch it last night because Molly and Donna and I were all texting. We're like, we're gonna watch this live. If you're no longer in it, right? But then we see Weston Sierra. This was like, insane to me. We see Weston Sierra because everyone, like, some people go to bed, some people go out, and. And then by the end of the night, west and Sierra are cuddling up outside by the pool, making out. Like, full on making out, which to me is just insane. Now, granted, Amanda doesn't know any of this is happening. She's in the house, she's going to bed. She's dealing with her drama with. With Kyle. But, like, west knew that this happened. And to be fair, Amanda may have never known that this even happened at all until more recently. But west knew that he was making out with Sierra the final night in the summer house, which is insane. But I, I liked Scream 7 overall and I hope that they hit it out of the park with Scream 8 and find ways to bring back more of the legacy characters. But I would love, love, love to see what's her face. Kirby, come back. Bring back Hayden Tier. Yeah, I think that's, that's it.
