Is Jim Carrey gone? Has he been cloned? What is going on? Plus we have a Nancy Benet Ramsey update. A few updates, but I don't know if they're really telling us anything. I'm going to get into Scream 7. I watched it over the weekend, so expect some spoilers at the end. And Claudia Ashri from the toast. She's got some tea that she's spilling and it's juicy, baby. This is no filter with Zach Peter, your go to source for all the latest pop culture and reality TV tea, sir. Fresh all week long. Now let's dive in. What's up, everybody in the club. Welcome on in. Welcome on in. Welcome on in. Please pray for me because my patience is being tested this week. Is mercury in the microwave this week? Is that what's happening? Just the number of miscommunications and tech issues and I. My patience is being tested. So just take a deep breath. We're going to collectively just not allow the cortisol in our body to rise and just take mercury out of the microwave. We can put it in an easy bake oven for the time being, but it needs to get out of the microwave. Hi, guys. Did anyone else think Jim Carrey was on Nick Viall today? Seriously, look at the thumbnail. Oh, I don't pay attention to Nick Viall. I'm sorry. It started the last week. It started last week on the 26th. Oh, lovely. Because that's. How long is it supposed to last? Can we control alt delete? Oh, the 26th. Great. Because that's when everything hit the fan. Was on the 27th. Just trying to breathe and breathe and bring home Nancy. Somebody light the sage. Somebody get some palo. And what is it? Paula Panto. Palo Santo, right? Palo Santos. Right? Yeah. Palo Santo. Right. And you put it at the coochie to cleanse all the demons. Oh, yeah. Yay. Mamma mia. Here we go again. I love PA Palo Santo. And I can't believe I forgot how to pronounce Palo Santo. Okay, well, hopefully you guys are having a great start to your week. Happy Tuesday. Happy Tuesday. Everybody in the clear. It's what a day, what a day, what a day, what a mighty good day. Let's see. What do we want to start with? Do I want to start with Nancy? Do we want to start with Jim Carrey? I mean, there's a lot that's happened with Nancy, but then there's also not a lot that's happened with Nancy. At the same time, it appeared that Brian Enten had been packing up his bags and leaving. But now it seems like maybe he's not. And JLR kind of seems to be back. It looks like there's some activity that's going on at Nancy Guthrie's home today. So I think because of that activity, I think they're now going to be sticking around. It's kind of like me. Every day I wake up and I'm like, there's nothing new about Nancy. I can't talk about Nancy anymore. Like, I'm done with Nancy. And then some, like, little thing comes up, and it's like, oh, are they going to find her today? Today? So that they were ladies with metal detectors and they were doing the heart monitor tracker. All of those things were happening. And now there's apparently some. Some new activity back at Nancy's home, which originally we thought was done. We thought that that. That was no longer, like, they were going to turn the hat. The house. House back over to the family and that we were moving on from this. But now it appears there's something new coming. We have a new search party. People that are showing up, and like I said, they're digging in the tunnels. They're doing the metal detectors. They're trying to do all the things that they can do, and it is just like, what. What the. So I don't know. I. I don't know. Every day when I think that the case has gone cold and the case has gone dry, more things just continue to. To come up. But then they don't really substantiate or materialize. Right. So we did yesterday. We saw that Annie, Tomasso, and Savannah showed up as a united front. They came to Nancy's house. Interestingly, NBC and the Today show ran a story. I think it was this morning. They ran a story this morning that disclosed the contents of that letter, which to me was kind of strange, because I don't believe that today or NBC is boots on the ground. It's possible. I mean, listen, they left the letter there. Here. We can actually. We can pull up JLR investigates his. His tweet from yesterday, because it seems like that's. That's what got pulled. So we saw that there was this letter. It feels weird and like. And when I say weird, I'm not, like, criticizing the family, saying it feels weird that we're even, like, looking at this letter. You know what I mean? Like, it just kind of feels a little like it feels invasive, but also, like, the family and they put this big, giant letter on the ground and left it open. They didn't put it in an envelope. Like, they left it there and open, so it seemingly is exposed, which I hate questioning them. But it's also, you know, it's just. It's a little interesting, but it breaks my heart. It really does, looking at this stuff. And I know, like, yesterday's episode, we went through the theories and we kept kind of coming back to some weird stuff surrounding the family. And I'm trying to not judge them to the best of my ability, but, like, there are questions that just remain unanswered. And so it appears that the. The Today show, which is the show that Savannah works for, they have the contents of this letter. Now, JLR did say, because people were asking him, what does the letter say? What are people saying about the letter? And he was saying he. He. It wasn't his to touch. And, And. And I appreciated that. Right? It wasn't his to touch. He shouldn't have opened the letter. And he. He didn't want to. He's like, this is private. This is between them. I'm not gonna go there. And he didn't. And I respected that. But then NBC, they somehow became privy to the contents of this letter from Annie. And it says, though we are surrounded by so much darkness and uncertainty, our love burns bright. We love you, Mommy. We miss you so much. Much, Annie Tomaso. And it looks like the son's name is Olmo. O Lmo. Almo. Olmo. I don't know. I think it's weird that that Savannah's news agency knew what the letter was said, what the letter says when they're not even there, and why they didn't have the respect of. Of keeping the contents of that letter private. Like, it almost kind of feels like somebody was like, this is what the letter said. You can publish the contents of the letter, which is just. I don't know, it's a little interesting to me. Not sure if it was just intentional, just a pic of run over flowers. Oh, yes. I believe somebody drove past Nancy's home, and it looks like they may have run over the. Run over some of the flowers that were left there. And like, listen, the vigil, is it a vigil? Is it a memorial? Whatever it is, like, it's. It's like more people are coming and putting flowers and. And. And cards and stuff in Nancy's memory. So the more stuff that starts to pile on, obviously it's gonna dip into the street, and sometimes you're gonna have somebody that drives by it and runs something over. And that's unfortunate, but take a wild guess Where I'm driving to Danielle. Danielle. We're always, always diverting the live chat. So that's basically the latest. We know what the card says. According to Brian Enten, they're saying the Pima county sheriff's department did an interview with NBC. It's interesting. Remember how I was saying this last week leading up to this week, Where's NBC and all of this? There's Savannah, Savannah's homestead station. Where's the family? It's like everything that I've presented, like now. Like now. NBC's over here doing interviews with sheriff Thanos, and the family's coming and visiting the memorials. I'm not saying that I'm leading or directing them as to what to do, but it's just interesting that when I present these questions and suddenly a day or two later, it gets addressed. But Brian Enten is saying the Pima county sheriff's department, the sheriff nanos. He did an interview with NBC and he says, I think investigators are definitely closer to finding Nancy Guthrie suspect. He says that new video of a car 2 1/2 miles away has been identified. And they are looking at hundreds of thousands of vehicles. Hundreds of thousand. It's been 84 years. Hundreds and thousands of vehicles is what they're looking at to financy right now. Hundreds and thousands of vehicles. Guys, I. I don't know. Oh, I didn't realize Brian Enten was following me. He's following me, but yet my DMS remain quiet. So. Okay. Oh, wait, there's more. Wait. According to news nation, it says the pair, along with Annie's husband, Tommaso, paid their visit to investigators and are still searching for a tip that breaks open the case. They left a note for their mother at the site that reads, mama, we miss you so much. Our hearts are broken. We are standing on ash on scorched earth. But, mom, though we are surrounded by so much darkness and uncertainty, our love burns bright. We love you, mommy. We miss you so much. Our best friend. Interesting. The NBC didn't publish the full thing, but news nation just did. So that's the full note. Mama, we miss you so much. Our hearts are broken. We're standing on ash on scorched earth. But, oh, it does say burns bright. But, mom, though we are surrounded by so much darkness and uncertainty, our love burns bright. We love you, mommy. We miss you so much. Our best friend. I mean, it's heartbreaking going through this. Brian Enten also continued. Oh. He continued his statement. So in addition to them looking at hundreds of thousands of other vehicles, Sheriff Nanos also says that the backpack that they found may not have actually been purchased at Walmart after all. I'm glad that we discovered that 30 days into this case it could have been purchased secondhand. That's promising. We have information on this case that we think is going to lead us to solving this case. But it takes time. That's right. Remember you said it could take years. It's okay. We only got a few years before we crack this code. Do you really think we're going to figure this case out in years if you're not figuring it out in one month? I just. I don't know. I don't know. Fifi 1770. There were. Yes, there were a lot of fire references in that note. I'm not saying that I didn't also have the same thought. I'm. You know, I'm not even gonna go there, but I could. I can see where your train of thought is. It's. It's very interesting. Yep. JonBenet Ramsey 2.0. Yeah, 2.0. It's crazy. But again, you were able to get away with the JonBenet case way back. What was that? In the 80s when. 96. Oh, wow. I was already born. I thought JonBenet happened before me, but it. I was. I guess I was three. Three and a half. Two and a half. So that was back in the late 90s before technology had ever really developed. And so, you know, it's so funny. It says that people that search for JonBenet Ramsey also searched for Patsy the mom, Burke the brother, John Andrew, John Andrew the dad, Erica Kirk. Isn't that crazy? Because everybody thinks that ERICA Kirk is JonBenet. Like that's one of the latest conspiracy theories. So. Yeah, I just. I don't know. But I mean, the reason you were able to get away with the JonBenet Ramsey situation was because that was back in the 90s. That was before technology. That was before GPS data that everybody had in their pocket with the cell phone like so much. That was before all of the. The cameras on the traffic lights and, and ring cameras and NEST cameras. That was before all of that really blew up. So it's interesting. I don't know how this continue how you can have a JonBenet Ramsey case. And I understand that they found JonBenet. So when I reference the JonBenet. Because there are always people that get mad, like don't confit that they're not the same thing. What happened to JonBenet was awful. And they found her in the basement and I get that. I call her Nancy Bonet Ramsey because it's a cold case. You know, the first business phone was literally a brick. Yeah, exactly. Like it was the first mobile phone. Yes, exactly. ERICA Kirk is JonBenet. Hadn't heard that one. Yeah, that's one of the latest ones. Is they think. Well, I don't know. I don't know if Candace Owens is peddling that or that's just like Internet sleuths that think that Jon. But they also thought JonBenet was Katy Perry. Have you heard those rumors that Katy Perry is secretly JonBenet? How are they. But, like, they found JonBenet. That's the issue. They found her. They just don't know what happened to her. They don't know how. And the theory goes that it was likely the brother. The brother had some, you know, reportedly had some anger issues. Burke, he did that weird ABC interview. He. I mean, I feel bad for the kid. Well, I feel bad for the family. Like, they're. They're clearly carrying something, you know, I don't know. I don't. But it was really interesting because he made it clear that it was not him. He spoke out 20 years after he broke his silence, did an ABC interview. This was 10 years ago. Wow. So she's been gone for 26 years or, sorry, 30 years. Because that was 10 years ago when he did this interview. Wow. None of these theories work. Sorry, none of what theories? The brother did it. That. That's a theory that doesn't work for you? Because of all the theories that we've heard, that's the one that probably makes the most sense. Like, that's the thing is, like, people would rather believe that some crazy, random person was able to break in and do. Like. It just. It makes no sense. Crazy how they didn't pay for the mother to have security cameras just in case she fell or got hurt. Yeah, I'm gonna need Zach to call me to fill me in. On what? Debbie, which part do you need to be filled in on? Erica Kirk or Burke? The brother. We got all the theories. Yeah, See, Karen says, I think Burke did it and the parents covered it up. Yeah, that's what most people have concluded at this point. Oh, you haven't heard about Katy Perry and Erica Kirk? Yeah, I don't think that. I don't think JonBenet is any of that. I think they found JonBenet. I think we know what happened to JonBenet Ramsey. Well, we don't know what happened to her, but they did have her. You know, she's not. She was. She didn't go missing and suddenly grow up to be Katy Perry. I think that's where the theories are that they think like some people don't. Being that it was a cold case that was never solved. I think people are confusing it with being like a. A missing person's case. Like that they didn't find her, but they did find her. They found her in the basement. So. Yeah, we'll see. We shall see. Yeah. They're saying that Patsy the mom is the one that covered it up. That Burke was likely the one that did it. Yeah. So here is one of the theories. I'll just. Oh, she had two brothers. That's right. Oh, are we gonna go down a JonBenet Ramsey like rabbit hole right now? I think we can. Right, a little educational update. Okay, so one of the theories is Burke had some mental issues. Patsy didn't want to lose both children. The dad seemed genuine. I don't believe he had anything to do with it. Patsy took it to the grave. They didn't do a very good job parenting either child. Affluence played a huge part there. JonBenet's pageant stuff was inappropriate and her parents went out of touch about that. Were out of touch about that. Burke probably got jealous that JonBenet was the center of attention and he did it to her in a fit of rage or something. Small. Nine year olds are capable. Wow. Nine year olds are capable of murder. Well, it was it well thought out or even premeditated? Not likely. Burke probably didn't even understand what he did would be permanent. Who knows if he even remembers doing it. Just my theory. Yeah, that's kind of the theory. That's from a Reddit user on JonBenet Ramsey's Reddit page. But she had two brothers. John. Oh, John Andrew was the other brother. Not. Oh, I thought John Andrew was the dad. So John Andrew. So they had a son named John Andrew and a son and a daughter named JonBenet. That's kind of weird. No. So her oldest brother, John Andrew. Oh, he was in the Netflix documentary as well. He's handsome compared to Burke. Okay, so this isperpeoplepeople.com but before the 1996 murder of six year old JonBenet Ramsey, her oldest brother, John Andrew Ramsey said that the Ramsey's were just a regular family. It's really important to remember that prior to Christmas Day of 1996, we were just a regular family. Yeah, I'm sure everybody thinks that when they're a kid. Right. We weren't perfect we were just a regular family with a regular life. JonBenet was the youngest of the five siblings. Her oldest brother, John Andrew, as well as her two sisters, Melinda and Elizabeth. William. What? Melinda. And she had two sisters, too. How big is this family? How is it that I didn't know she had all these siblings? Is this another Mandela effect? I did not remember. Robin says, I thought the older brother was from a previous marriage. Well, that's what we're learning. Okay. We're learning. Okay. Christina says, this has been my theory the whole time. What's been your theory? Oh, oh, That a Savannah stalker took. But you would think they would know that. But then again, that could explain possibly why that's one theory we didn't explore yesterday that a. A potential Savannah stalker. I mean, it would kind of make sense with the way Savannah was talking to the person. Right. You can still do the right thing. But, like, does Savannah really have. Well, I mean, I guess you do have crazies, but it's like, does she really have stalkers? I. I've kind of considered that, but it just feels a little strange that even a crazy stalker, like, they're. They're not that smart. Right. They're very impulsive. They're very emotionally driven. That, I don't think be methodical enough to be able to take. Nancy. I don't know. Ella says, remember, we listen and we don't judge. Zach, random comment, but I'm loving the Sunday episodes. I now have beef with the guy who was, like, bored on your show and didn't help promote it, and I don't even know who he is. Oh, I'm glad you guys are liking the tour tapes. Isn't it so fun? Are you guys enjoying the tour tapes? If you are, drop a comment and let me know what you're enjoying about it. Okay, let me. I didn't realize she had so many siblings. JonBenet was the youngest of five siblings. So there was John Andrew, who was older, and then there was Melinda and Elizabeth. Oh, they. They died. Oh, my God. They both died. Oh, interesting. Interesting. So John Ramsey lost three kids. I'm sorry, come again? That. What? Did you guys know this part of the story? That John Ramsey lost three children. His first two children passed away in a car accident. Melinda and Elizabeth. So then he was left with. What's the son's name? John Andrew. Okay, so there's John, John Andrew, and JonBenet. Got it. Okay, so he had those three kids with his first wife, Lucinda. Then they split after the daughters passed, and then he married his second wife, Patsy, with whom he welcomed son Bert and JonBenet. Okay, so when. Okay, so the JonBenet stuff happened in 96, and then his last children just died from four years prior in 92. That's crazy. Initially, JonBenet's parents, John and Patsy, were considered primary suspects in the investigation, but neither were charged with the crime. Burke, who was nine years old at the time, was later accused of being involved, an allegation he and his family have vehemently denied. John Andrew was out of state with his sister Melinda when the slain occurred. So Melinda's alive or she's not alive? Who's alive and who's not? Oh, Elizabeth is the one that died in a car accident in 1992. So it seems Melinda lived on. And Melinda was with John Andrew at the time that this happened. Got it. While JonBenet's only surviving sister, Melinda has stayed out of the public eye. Yeah, we haven't heard a thing about Melinda. Her brothers have opened up about her unsolved murder over the years. Both John Andrew and JonBenet's father, John appeared in the Netflix docuseries about the cold case while Burke declined to participate. The series examines the local police handling of the case and what the Ramsey's believe to be the authorities. Missteps he's ever. Here's everything we know about JonBenet Ramsey's older brothers, John Andrew and Burke. Interesting. Okay, so John Andrew. Okay, we're gonna take a quick ad break and then do we care to get into the brothers? Laura says she loves the tour tapes. Sarah says she loves the tour tapes. Billy says tour tapes have been fun to watch. Ms. Squishy says. Oh, my God. The tour tapes were tea. They were tea, right? Raised eyebrows. Yeah, it's good. The tapes. Yeah. Right. Well, get ready. We've officially gone cameras up for the next chapter. Get ready. The next chapter has already has officially begun. Love the tour tapes. Last week was so authentic. The raw. Yeah, it was probably our most like, raw and authentic side. I'm loving the tour tape shows. It's your candid honesty that I find compelling. Thanks, guys. I'm so glad you're enjoying them. I don't know, she seems a little wacky to me but she put out that I guess she has a source in Pima county that has confirmed that Annie and Tommaso's car is in the process of being released and that the family has been cleared. Dun dun dun. Oh, we have Nanos's. Oh, do we want to watch a bit of Nanos's interview? Let's nerdy addict who's been on this show Nerdy addict just posted it. Should we check it out? Check it out here. Let's check out Sheriff Nanny Nana.
B
Any closer days since Nancy Guthrie went missing, are investigators any closer to finding the suspect or suspects?
C
I think the investigators are. Are definitely closer. We got a lot of intel, a lot of leads, but now it's time to just go to work.
B
We also asked about that new ring camera video obtained by Fox News Digital.
A
He said they have a lot of info, a lot of leads, but now it's just time to go to work. It's we're only 30 days and now we go to work showing a car
B
two and a half miles away. Is this really something we should be looking at?
C
Look, what I would tell you is this. We're aware of it.
A
Haters going to hate. Remember when he said that haters can hate?
C
And we're looking into it just like any other piece of evidence.
B
Have you been able to identify the car that drove past at 2:36am no.
A
No.
B
But you are looking to identify it.
C
We're looking at that vehicle as well as hundreds of thousands of other vehicles that were out driving that time of day.
B
Nano says they still haven't identified the other clothes the suspect was wearing and told us this about the backpack.
C
We've now learned that maybe it wasn't purchased out of Walmart. That backpack, as new, is exclusive to Walmart. But who's to say I didn't buy it and put it on ebay?
B
That's what we're looking at with so many questions.
A
What is that really the theory right now is that maybe, like, okay, maybe we just, we didn't. Maybe the backpack was bought on ebay. I'm sorry, who's buying backpacks on ebay these days? Are people still. I mean, I guess people still use ebay, but, like, that's really his theory. That's. That's where we're at right now is maybe the backpack was bought at ebay, but we still don't know. A month later. He cannot look at 100,000 vehicles. They have no, hundreds of thousands of vehicles. Not. Not just 100. He said hundreds of thousands of vehicles. Okay, let's continue.
B
He told us there is a lot. They're just not sharing.
C
There's so much that everybody wants to know, right? Yeah, but I would be very neglectful, irresponsible as a police law enforcement leader to share that with everybody. We have information on this case that we think is going to hopefully lead us to solving this case. But it takes time and you'll get there. Absolutely. Absolutely.
A
All right. Well, that's.
C
That's good to hear, Liz. And by the way, you asked a lot of questions that have been top of mind for a lot of folks who've been following this case very closely.
A
What.
C
What did the sheriff say, if anything, about the DNA that was found at the house?
B
Yeah, Craig, that's a big question. I did ask him about that. He said that they are still having some challenges processing that DNA. He suggested that it's been 30 days. It may be a mixture from several people, not just two people, which we know from experts can make it really hard to extract an individual profile from. He says they have put some. Some of the DNA they found into CODIS, the FBI's national data bank. No hits yet. But despite all this, he says he still does believe that the unknown DNA may be the suspects and that he still very much sees he's not sure,
A
but he thinks it may be the suspects. May is not definitive. Unsure is already undefinitive. We have an undefinitive, unsure, may possibly. It's a whole lot. They have nothing.
B
DNA as a viable lead for them, but that it's just going to take some time.
A
Craig, how much more time? This lady doesn't have time. I literally cannot. Nobody knows. Nobody knows. We don't believe you. Nanos. Yeah, the sheriff is a joke. I mean. Yeah, you know, I just. Where did all the siblings come from? Oh, JonBenet. Sorry, I know I went on a little tangent there. Um, so most of the. Most of Jominnes siblings were from a previous. Were from the previous marriage. But yeah, those are the theories about Burke. We can. If you want to do a deep dive into JonBenet. I feel like so many people have done it. There are just so many things I didn't know about. But yeah, we'll see. She was paid by people to lie about Karen. Oh, yes, I saw. Donna was saying something about that. We did an Instagram live, which I think we're going to be doing on Monday evenings with Molly and. Molly, Donna and me. Dmz. Donna, Molly, Zach. I think we'll be doing more of those Monday evenings. If you want to join us live on Instagram, you can. And. But yeah, Savannah did have a stalker, but I thought it was a woman. I don't know. I don't know. The more you know, the more we don't get, the more things continue to. More questions we continue to ask. Okay, let's talk about Jim Carrey, because some people are Shooketh. Shooketh. Shooketh. Shooketh. So Jim Carrey attended the French Caesar Awards. It was an award show, I guess, in France. And so he showed up to attend because they were presenting him with this award, which sparked some new conspiracy theories that this was a clone and not really Jim Carrey. So people are now digging up old interviews where one where he particularly says, oh, my favorite character to play is Jim Carrey. And people think that this is his way of acknowledging there's a clone of him. But, like, not. I'm not convinced of that. You know, it's like, to me, I think it's like Beyonce and her Sasha Fierce Persona, right? Or even just Beyonce the celebrity, right? The performer. There's the person and then there's the public Persona. It doesn't necessarily mean that there's an actual clone. It just means that they embody a Persona that is not entirely who. They're like. They kind of, you know, they're on. You know, they say when you're on, like, it's just. It's a little different. So I don't. I don't believe that Jim Carrey is a public. I did see, like, TikTok psychics. They're like, I talked to Jim Carrey and Jim says that he passed on. He passed away at home. They said that he passed away of cancer. Again, it's a psychic. Take it for what it's worth. The show here is for entertainment purposes only. But his publicist, Mar. Mar. Marlia. Marlia Leslie, she told Rolling Stone showed a number of outlets, said Jim Carrey attended the Caesar Awards where he accepted his honorary Caesar award. So she's making it adamant that this is Jim Carrey. He does look different. But I do think that this is Jim Carrey. I think he's aged. I think he's clearly attempted some sort of cosmetic procedure. It's obvious that he no longer looks the same. But a lot can happen in five years. Have you seen me from five years ago? I look very different, actually. Let's do that. Let's Google me and see what comes up of me. And you're going to see. You're like, wow, you look like a different person. Right? So if you Google me, look at this does not look like the same person you see before you. I look completely different. You know, I don't look like that anymore. I was, I don't know, like 20 something there. This different person from this. This person and this person are two completely. Like, you would think something completely happened and something completely changed, right? I look like a completely different person even from this person, right? This wasn't even that long ago. This person. Oh, my God. This was a terrible. These photos, this lighting. Everything about these photos were just awful, awful, awful, awful. And then I had so much makeup on. Cause I had a black eye underneath. It got filler, and they went a little too hard, and so I had, like, an actual black eye. Billy says, zach, if we came on here with a different voice and green eyes, we would be saying that it's not our Zach. But it's not a different voice. I mean, people's voices do change as you get older. And the green. It's not that he has green eyes. It's more so about the lighting. Like, the lighting affected the color of his eyes. I didn't think that it was a difference. Yeah, See, look at. I looked so different. There's Jolene. Hi, Jolene. Yeah, see, like, I looked very different here. I didn't look. I don't look like that now. Right? Filler. It was a bar fight, Zach. Right. And that's the real story. I got into a bar fight. How often have you gotten your roots done when it was that blonde? I was blonde, I think, for six years. I was this blonde for six years, and I think I got my roots done, like, every six weeks. It was at least, like, four times a year at minimum. No, I think it was longer. I think it was like every. Every eight week. Eight weeks. Yeah, it was pretty often. But see how this lighting looks so much better than those other photos? This was the same. Like, the coloring and the lighting just look so different here in comparison. I also. In comparison to these. And this is literally the same room just like a year or two apart. Anyway, I digress. I apologize. But. So Jim Carrey. I don't think he's a clone, guys. I'm sorry, I don't. I'm not buying into the clone theories. He looks older. He looks different. He looks like he may have had some sort of cosmetic procedure. I think it's Jim. I just think he's aged. Right. His face looks fuller, which could be a combination of weight gain and filler. He could have likely had some sort of minor facelift, maybe a brow lift, which makes his eyes pop a little more. Like when you get Botox or when you get a brow lift, they pull it up from up here, and it can make your eyes look a little bigger. It can make them look a little crazier. Right. His eye color is the same. It's just the lighting. You can see here. He doesn't have green eyes. Here. It's just. I think it's Jim Carrey. The nose looks the same. He just looks larger. He looks heavier. Right. His teeth look the same. His lips look the same. His hairline is receding, which makes sense. His hair is longer. He's got, like, the. The Bruce Jenner before Caitlyn hair. Maybe he's becoming Caitlyn. We're gonna get a new Jim documentary. He's Jim. Jim is becoming Jenny, becoming Jen. Maybe that's it. So listen, I think there are photos. This is a photo from. I believe this was 2014. Same with a bunch of different comedians. And so. Or sorry, not 2014, 2024. When you zoom in here, like, yeah, he looks bigger. He's got the longer hair. We just don't see Jim Carrey out as often. So you're comparing him to photos from when he was, you know, much younger. But, like, this is him with his little lady haircut with a little. The little swoop at the end. Like, this is. He's got his little, you know, his little Flock of Seagulls hair. I just think, listen, he could be becoming Jenny. That may be the next series. I'm sure Candace Owens will love it. Candace Owens loves When a man Becomes a Woman. This is him even before then. Like, his face has gotten fuller, his hairline has receded. You know, I just think when you compare him to what he looked like 20 years ago, yeah, it's gonna look drastically different. But he's older. Even as you get older, your brows, as men, your brows start to fade. So then it opens up your eyes a little more. I just think he looks like an older, weathered man. Oh, he's becoming Jenny from the block. Jennae. Jennae, the princess is here. See? Era. This beat is. Listen, he looks different. He looks kind of. What a man, what a man, what a mighty good man. A mighty, mighty good man. When a Man Becomes a Woman by Michael Bolton. Yeah, I think it's Jim Carrey. I just think he looks old. I know somebody was. People were like, oh, my God. But there was that one makeup artist that posted a photo, and it showed his mask. Obviously, that was an AI generated photo. So please debunk that. That was AI. That was a joke that people were making. It was a makeup artist that's like, I was Jim Carrey and that. This is clearly Jim Carrey. He's just old now. He's not a clone. He's not hiding behind a mask. It's Jim Carrey. But speaking of bizarre things, wait for this one. Remember, did you guys see what was it last week or the week before Benny Blanco launched his podcast? And. Well, listen, actually, you guys, I'm not going to ask Jenny. I don't. I'm not touching that. The. You got, like. Take a photo of you from 10 years ago, and you're gonna look very different. Let's talk about Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's gross feet. So I think this is low key. Very gross. He. He broke the Internet last week, Benny Blanca, when he launched his new podcast with Lil Dicky, and he debuted his dirty feet. Like, it wasn't intentional, but he was, like, in. He was on the couch. He was just chilling. His feet were up. You could see them in the frame and dirty. And he, like, looks. He's kind of gross. I don't find him attractive at all. Please tell me that this is AI. This is not AI. These are real photos of his newest episode of his podcast with Lil Dicky. And Selena Gomez is making it clear not to come for her man. She says, don't come for my man's. That's her man. And she don't want you to touch him because she likes his dirty feet. She's like, yes, give me all those dirty toes. Yes. She's like, I love it. I want him to run on the pavement. So she. This is obviously. She didn't say that. That's my own. I'm adding my own sauce to that. But in the narration of these photos, she is kissing his dirty feet, which is letting you all know she likes him. He is gross. I'm sorry. He's gross. He grosses me out. Everything about him grosses me out. I don't find him attractive at all. I don't know what she sees in him. I. I don't like any of what is happening here. I think it is all visibly uncomfortable. I just. I can't. I can't. I can't. I won't. No, thank you. No, thank you. Get it off my screen. I never want to see it again. But she's saying, haters going to hate. Like, Sheriff Nana. She's like, haters going to hate. Haters gonna hate. What a time. What a time. What a mighty good time. Okay, let's shift gears to Claudia. Claudia Ashri. She's blasting the Roni newbie. Her name is Hailey Glassman. I think this is hilarious, and I'm obsessed, okay? I don't care about Roni. I don't care about the new Roni. I'm so over it. And they just announced that Carol Radzwill is gonna be joining as a friend of. And this is. Is the Roni reboot that they made. And so now they're rebooting the reboot. They left, they kept three of the original girls, and now they're bringing Carol Radswell in, and everyone's like, oh, my God, Carol, Yay. Which. The hypocrisy of these people, right? Despite Carol's very clear and obvious relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell, Carol Radsville was also brought up in, to my understanding, she's also brought up in the Epstein files. Right. There was, like, an email that references her ghostwriter, which she denied ever having. And so obviously. Listen, I don't care. I'm not going to watch this. I have zero interest in watching this Roni. I didn't like it last couple of seasons when they tried to reboot it, and I'm just not interested. But anyway, everyone, you know, has their shifting moral compass because they want to talk about the Amstein files, and they want to hold people accountable for their opinions and their association to people. And then when it comes to care Reds, well, suddenly we're just going to forget. But anyway, Claudia, she's one of the hosts of the toast. If you guys watch or listen to the toast, it's really funny. Podcast. Hilarious. I think she was girl with no job or girl without a job. Is that used to be, like, her. Her Instagram Persona. Very funny. Well, they announced the newest additions that they were bringing on to this Roni cast, and she recognized one of the names, Haley Glassman. And she explains how she knows Haley, and it is quite the time. So not that I care about Roni, but I do care about this story because it's so funny. And I just need you to watch this.

Okay, I have, like, some tea. I don't know if tea is actually the right word for this, but I saw this post on dumois talking about how new Real Housewives of New York has started to begin filming. Here are the returning housewives. And here are the new ones. And the new ones, you know, sound a little familiar. Of course I know my girl, Erica Hammond. Great casting. And then I saw the name Haley Glassman. I could not put my finger on why her name sounded so familiar to me. So I went over to her Instagram. I did not recognize her face. Nothing. And then I went to our messages, and that's when I realized, like, I know Haley Glassman. She has been a troll of mine, like a deep Internet troll, since 2017. The first message I ever received from her in 2017. Oh, my God, your voice is so annoying. Like Janice from Friends. Here's another one. Damn, you were thin. I must have posted, like, an old photo of myself. She's obsessed with my weight. Look, skinny mini now looks great. But you gotta own your on wegovy. I wasn't. I was on Ozempic. You're an influencer, and you should really be honest on your platform about it when you need any skin tightening. Since you definitely lost enough to need it, I'll set you up with a great plastic surgeon.
A
Audacity, Incredible shrinking woman.
D
Thank you. Once you get to where you want, we'll take care of you for a 30s neck lift. Hashtag Glassman plastic surgery. Not Ben catching strays. Dad bod.
A
Lol.

But I think she's also, like, a huge fan because she also has, like, mazel tov. When I announced I was pregnant, here she is again, my biggest hater, my biggest supporter. Look, happy Mother's Day. Soon to be mama. And then literally a month later. So weird how you were skinnier pregnant than you were two months, two years ago. Not pregnant. You're a magician. Congrats, mama. I don't know what barrel Bravo was scraping the bottom of when they casted this person, but, like, it's giving Monica from Salt Lake City.
A
I mean, what a time. What crazy messages. It's so funny. I was just like, I was dying. She's like, I don't know what bottom of the barrel Bravo scraped her out of. Like, what? They make their big announcement, and then suddenly there's, you know, the controversy, which is obviously going to come up on the show. People are like, wait, there was that girl that hosts a pot. There was that podcast host that said, trolling her. I know. She said she sounded like Janice. Oh, my God, that's so mean. What a. So I just wanted to share that with you because I thought it was funny. And that's the only thing I care to talk about with Roni. Let's talk Scream. Okay? Let's talk Scream, because Scream is juicy. So lots of discourse about Scream 7. And we're gonna get into it because there were a lot of people that are like, we're gonna boycott Scream because they decided that they're going to fire Melissa Barrera. And we stand with Melissa and whatever. Okay, got it. Go stand with Melissa. Don't care. You're free to protest, but. Doesn't mean it's not annoying. But. So anyway, despite all of their crazy, like, protests, they're like, go, Melissa. It didn't work because the spoilers ahead, guys. Spoilers ahead. If you want to watch Scream 7, but let's talk about it, because I have a lot of feelings about it and I don't fully agree with the Internet or some people really like it and some people really do. You don't like it. I'm gonna get into it. I'm gonna give you my thoughts. My thoughts, my feelings, my vibes. Because it did really well and it performed like a banger. And we're definitely. I mean, there's no way we don't get a scream 8 At this point, okay? I stand with Scream. I stand with Scream as well, okay? But we're gonna talk about the good things and the bad things and what I liked and what I didn't like. So if you don't want Scream spoilers, then I'm telling. I'm warning you right now. Or don't get out. Just keep watching. But, like, hit the mute button. Okay? Okay. I'm gonna give it an eight out of seven and a half. Eight out of ten. I really enjoyed Scream 7, okay? And I'm tell you why. I'm fine without Jenna Ortega or Melissa Barrera, okay? To me, Nev Campbell is Scream, period. End of story. I stand on business. Okay? I didn't mind Samantha's character arc, right? If you're unfamiliar, we are on scream 7k. But if. I know it's funny. My dad's birthday was on Sunday, and we took him out to. To lunch, and afterwards we were having cake, and I was like, oh, yeah, I saw a Scream 7. He's like, Scream 7. He's like, when do we get to Scream 7? It was just so funny because it's like 30 years and seven movies later, like, it's crazy. Okay, so for those. You know what? I'm actually going to give you a lesson in Scream. So if you want to enjoy the spoilers, but you're like, not a Scream girly, it's okay. I'm going to give it to you. Okay? So Scream starts. I think I'm going to do this for TikTok. Okay? So Scream starts in Scream number one, okay? And it's about this girl, and her name is Sydney, and she's in high school, okay? And her mom is a floozy, and her mom is just sleeping with everybody all around town. Actually, before we get to her mom and being a floozy, she's just a normal girl in high school, and her mom died a year ago, and we don't yet know that. Her mom is a floozy, okay? And so everyone's like, oh, my God, your mom died a year ago. And her boyfriend's like, ugh, you need to go over it. Because, like, I'm. I want to bang you. And she's just like, I'm not ready. I'm still. It's only been a year. And, like, my mom. My mom. And so I guess Sidney helped lock away the man, Cotton, okay? Cotton is the one that allegedly killed the mom and is in jail, okay? She locked him up. She got. Clink, clink. Locked him up, okay? Because Sidney's like, I saw him. He did it. Okay? But Gale Weathers, this is Courtney Cox, okay? Gail motherfucking Weathers comes up in it, and she's like, I'm writing a book about the Woodsboro murders, and I don't think the Cotton did it. I think your mom was a floozy. And then Sidney punches her in the face, okay? She's like, don't ever talk about my mama like that. And so Sidney punches Gale, who's Courtney Cox. And so Courtney Cox goes about her business trying to cover the story. And she's like this young and aggressive reporter, and she wants to, like, get the scoop, get the story. It's a small town of Woodsboro. Rose McGowan's also in the movie. And I'm so sad that Rose McGowan did not make a cameo in any of the movie since even though her character died, there's still hope. Okay? I'm hoping. Fingers crossed, lovers. Okay. Anyway, so suddenly, somebody comes out and starts killing people. Kills Drew Barrymore's character. Iconic. The opening scene of Scream is Drew Barrymore dying. Everybody was shocked because Drew Barrymore was, like, the name, the face, the legend of Scream, and yet she died in the first act. She died in the first five minutes. Crazy, right? What? So anyway, long story short, somebody goes off and is killing all the people of Woodsboro. And they're doing it to target Sidney because it's related to her mom. Then we find out her mom was. Her mom really was a floozy. Like, everybody was saying her mom was sleeping all around town, and her mom was sleeping with this dude, and this dude decided to leave his wife, okay? And he left the wife, and it ended up being. Or no, did he leave or the mom left someone. Something happened and the parents broke up. And so when the parents broke up because of Sidney's floozy mama, that kid was like, oh, my God, I can't believe this bitch broke up my family. So Then he went and he killed Sydney's mom, Maureen Prescott. Okay? And then he's the same guy that went and started targeting Sidney. So it's all because her mama went and was having an affair with everybody in town. And she also apparently had an affair with Cotton, the one that's locked up for murdering her. But he's not the one that actually murdered her. He was framed, okay? Because in that era, you could frame people. Not in 2026. Which is why I have questions about Nana. Nana Nano. Anyway, so all because Mama was sleeping, she was not keeping her legs close to married men, she pissed off one of the kids, the kid came and killed her. And then the kid was going after Sydney and was killing everybody to get Sydney. So then it finds. We find out at the end that the kid was also Sydney's boyfriend. And that's Skeet Aldrich. He played the boyfriend, okay? And so he's the one. Billy Loomis was his name. And so he played Billy Loomis, who was the original killer. And then he was best friends with Matthew Lillard's character. And so they were the ones that were going around killing everybody in town. And it was all because of Sidney's floozy mama, okay? Then Scream 2 comes in, and we find out that Billy Loomis, I think it was his mother. She ends up being the killer in Scream 2 because she's mad about what happened to her son. And then Scream 3 comes out. And Scream 3 is where the lure gets deeper, okay? The lore, like, really goes into it. Billy and Stu are a better couple than Brokeback Mountain. True. I do. I do. We love Billy Loomis, the original killer, okay? That's how Melissa Barrera gets introduced later on. Anyway, so that's. That's Scream one is Sydney's mom is a floozy kid comes, kills everybody, then he dies, okay? Scream two, it's the mom. She's behind it. Then we get to Scream 3. And in Scream 3, so apparently Sidney's floozy mama had a secret love child from back in the day, okay? And she doesn't want the baby. And then. But obviously it was. But listen, her body, her choice, right? And so she didn't want the baby after all. So she gets rid of the baby, and then the baby grows up, and the baby comes to find her. And she doesn't want anything to do with the baby, right? She's too busy bopping her coochie all around town. Anyway, the baby then comes back around, and he grows up, and he's Sidney's half brother, and he's the one that's doing all of the murders because he's like, I am your half brother, and your mom turned on me, and our mama didn't love me, but she loved you. And so now I'm going to haunt you as a result of this. Okay, what happened to Skee Ulrich? Oh, the actor or the Billy Loomis? Because we just said Billy Loomis died. Okay, so. So that happened. That was Scream three. Then we get to Scream four. This is the iconic Emma Roberts. Scream four. Okay. And in the iconic Emma Roberts, Scream four, this was also Hayden Panettiere. She played Kirby. But so anyway, Emma Roberts. I don't remember. Jill was her name in the movie. She was Jill, and I think she was like, Sidney's niece or her cousin or something. And she comes to stay with Sidney, and she's staying with Sidney, and then suddenly the murders happen again. And then we find out the whole time. Spoiler. We find out that was Emma Roberts the entire time that was going around killing everybody. But she was pretending to be the target of the latest Scream Kills. And it was because she wanted to become famous. Sidney had become famous for these Woodsboro murders. And so Jill wanted to be like, cousin Sidney or Auntie Sidney or whatever. And so she ended up orchestrating all of this and going around and doing all these kills and even, like, attacking herself because she was so crazy and she wanted to be famous just like Sidney. That was Scream four. Okay. Then we move on to Scream five. And this was the rebooted version. So there was a bunch of time in between Screams 1 and 3 and Scream 4. Scream 4 was a standalone, and there was a bunch of time. And then we brought back Scream 5. And in Scream 5, they tried to, like, pivot away from Sidney Prescott because they're just like, she's not important anymore. But like, hello, of course she's important. She's Sidney fucking Prescott. So Scream 5 comes in, and in Scream 5, that's where it ended up being. So the target became Sam and Tara, and that's Jenna Ortega's character, and that's Melissa Barrera's character. It was like these two sisters, and they were going to carry on the Scream legacy beyond Sidney, and it just wasn't really slapping right. But they brought Sidney back, and she had a smaller role in Scream 5, and they brought back Courtney Cox because she was Gale Weathers. And Gale Weathers has been in every single movie. And so Gale Weathers came and she's. Again, I'm trying to crack the code. I'm like a talk show host. I'm famous now. I'm trying to crack the code. So she was trying to crack the code and find out who came after who was trying to kill Tara and Sam. And it ended up being that Melissa Barrera's character, Sam Samantha, ended up being the secret love child of Billy Loomis, the first boyfriend killer that was killing Everybody from Scream 1. So the first Scream killer, his daughter ends up being the star of this show. And that's why her and her sister are being targeted, because her real dad ended up being Billy Loomis. So she has, like, serial killer blood inside her. And so that was Scream five. And then Scream six, they got rid of Sidney because Neve Campbell said, I'm important, and you better put some respect on my paycheck. And they said, nah. And she said, bye. And so she peaced out. And she was not in Scream 6, but Gale Weathers was in Scream 6. So Gale, Courtney Cox's character was the only one that's been in every single Scream movie. And so Scream 6 comes in, and they go to New York, and they're trying to, like, get away with it, and they're trying to get away, move on with their lives. And then somebody starts targeting Sam and Tara again. And that ends up being. This was, like, the most complicated Scream, though. That ends up being the killer from Scream 5. His family ended up coming together to, like, target Tara, the two sisters, because they were, like, getting revenge for, you know, their brother or whatever or their son, because the dad was involved in it too. And they had, like, a whole shrine and a Scream museum. And they brought back Hayden Pantiere because she's Kirby and she's, like, a detective now. And so it's a whole thing. Then we get to scream 7. Zach really knows his screams. I do know my screams. Like, hello. Of course I know my screams. And so here's the controversy with screams, okay? From. So when Emma Roberts came in, it was supposed to be the new trilogy of Scream 4, 5 and 6. But 4 didn't perform very well at the movie theater. So it didn't end up getting a five or a six. Then they tried to redo the trilogy with five, six and seven. Okay? So they had five and they had six. And that was Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera, who were gonna be the new leads. And then Melissa Barrera came out, and she was like, I don't know, something about, like, free Palestine and anti Jews. And so they're like, whoa, you're the, like, head of this franchise. Like, you can't be, like, uber political. And she was just like, I don't give a mic drop. And so they fired her. And so they were like, you got too political. And, like, you're the face of this franchise, and, like, we don't need you getting political. And so she got fired as a result of it, and Jenna Ortega quit as a result of that. And so they had to, like, completely revamp what was going to happen for scream 7. So guess who they call up? Nev Campbell. They're like, sidney Prescott. We need you back. And Sydney Prescott was like, that's right. You better put some respect on my check and what's my name? Period. And so she got. She paid. She. She got paid and she came back. Okay, I need a Scream marathon because I still don't remember the relevance of the Ortega role and Barrera. It was because Melissa Barrera's character was the daughter of. She ended up being Billy Loomis's daughter. And so it kind of seemed like the trajectory that they were working with was that she would eventually become one of the future ghost faces because she had Billy Loomis's blood inside her. Right. She had the serial killer blood inside her. So, yeah, that said, we get into seven. Okay, seven was the newest one that just came out over the weekend. Spoilers ahead. I'm gonna give you my thoughts. And so Scream 7, we got rid of Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera. We bring in the new girl, and she's playing. I don't even know her name because she's so new. But anyway, she. Isabelle. I don't remember her name. I don't care. But anyway, I think her name is Isabella or Isabelle. And so she. Great love her, by the way. Great actress. I love. And I love that. I'm pretty sure she's going to continue to grow on us in Scream 8. But. So she plays Sidney's daughter. And so now here we are all these years later, and there's a new ghost face that comes around and is haunting Sidney. Now she's no longer Sidney Prescott. She's Sidney Evans, and she lives in a new town. Her husband's Joel McHale, and they have their daughter Isabel May, I think, is her name. Look at that recall of my memory. Is that really Isabell May? Did I get that correct? I fucking got that correct. I don't even know where in my brain, I don't ever remember saying the name Isabel May, ever. And yet I got it. It's like the Time Zach took us through the Final Destination movies. Listen, when I have my. When I love something, I love it. I didn't realize that I did Final Destination 2. I remember loving Final Destination bloodline lines, but I didn't remember that I did that. But. So, yeah, Final Destination was a great one. Stranger Things was great one. My latest obsession at the moment is Scream. Okay, so here we. I heard it was the worst one written. Which one? You have to be specific when you're referring to which movie. Isaac says Melissa is Mexican. She can't even vote in the US and she went as an adult. Oh, I didn't realize she was Mexican. I didn't realize she's from Mexico. I refuse to watch the Final Destination. Why? They're the best. I mean, not all of them, but, like, they're great. Which is one thing about Scream is all of the movies are pretty good. They're not. I wouldn't say there's a bad scream. Even 5 and 6 had their. Their moments. Right. Anyway, so like I said to me, Neve Campbell is Scream. The fact that they tried to, like, bring on two new leads that weren't even Sydney adjacent didn't like it. But I appreciated Samantha, like, that character arc because it's Billy Loomis's daughter. But that's done. We've moved on from that. Right. So I like that this new movie, Screen seven brings in this new second generation. Right. We're mixing in her daughter, and her daughter's name is Tatum. Tatum was the name of Rose McGowan's character who played Neve Campbell's best friend in. In Scream 1. So Nev Campbell names her daughter after her BFF that died in Scream 1, which was played by Rose McGowan. Okay. Scream 6 was insane. Scream 6 was wild with the. The museum and. And all the kid. Like, it was a lot. Scream 6 was. Was definitely. But it wasn't bad. I watched it the other night. It was actually pretty good. Scream 5 and 6 are not the same, but Nev Campbell is 100 required. Yeah. Scream 5 and 6 were like its own, like, side tangent. But now we're back. Okay, so we have Tatum. Tatum's Sidney's daughter named after Rose McGowan. Okay. And I would have loved Rose McGowan to have made a cameo because there's a scene in the movie where they. It's AI generated. And I have a mixed love, hate relationship with the AI integration. But, like, I get why AI needed to be part of it because, like, it's. It's where we're at with the times, okay? And so basically, this movie, it's somebody new. They're targeting Sidney, and they're just like. And normally the thing of ghost faces, he's like, hello, what's your favorite scary movie? And it's always on the phone, right? And he's always, like, trying to, like, get them and, like, trying to scare them by hiding behind this voice changer, okay? But now Ghostface has evolved, and so Ghostface is like, he's. And Sidney's like, why don't you show yourself? Show me your face. And then Ghostface is like, I'm not hiding this time. And then he facetimes Sidney. And so now she opens it up and she sees Ghostface. And it's not like the Ghostface mask. It ends up being Matthew Lillard's character who played stu from Scream 1. Scream 1, Stu was one of the bad guys. It was Billy Loomis who was Skeet Ulrich. And then it was Matthew Lillard's character, Stu. And So in Scream 1, a TV falls and smashes Stu's face. And so people said that they believe that it's possible that Stu's character has been around and is still alive, and it's, like, locked up somewhere. Nobody ever really knew what happened to Stu. We just assumed he died in that final scene because his head got smashed in by the tv. And. And this wasn't like a little flat screen tv, right? Like, this was back in the day. This was like the 90s where, like, a TV, it was big, it was a box. It had the glass. It was, like, in his face. So suddenly, Sidney answers the phone. It's Stu on FaceTime. And he's like, ha, ha, ha, ha. Sidney, it's me. I'm coming for you. I'm coming for your daughter. And so he's at Tatum's school, and Sidney's like, oh, my God, I gotta go. And the dad's the police chief or the. The head police officer. And so she calls up Joel McHale, the dad, and she's. She's like, oh, my God, Tatum, you need to go get Tatum. And so he goes to go get Tatum. Okay? And so I like that Tatum's character in the movie, she's, like, meek, right? She's kind of like. She's not. Whereas, like, if you look at Laurie Stroder from Halloween, like, Laurie was a badass. She was tough. She was, like, grabbing her balls. She had a shotgun. And she's, like, teaching her kids, like, how to fight back against Jason, right? And is It Jason or Freddie? Jason. Right? Jason, yeah, because Freddy Krueger. Yeah, he's Jason. So she very different. Sydney is trying to protect her daughter. She doesn't want her daughter exposed to Ghostface. She doesn't want her daughter exposed to anything Scream related or Stab related because that was the movie that was based off of Scream. In the movie, it's like. It's very meta. Scream is very meta. Okay? And so she doesn't want her. She doesn't want Tatum reading any of the books or watching the movies or knowing about her past or her history or where she came from. And she just thought, like, I will protect you by not exposing you to any of this. But what it did is it ended up making her weak. Right? She didn't have confidence. She didn't know who she was. And so this movie is about Tatum kind of finding her own voice, finding her confidence, and being able to fight Ghostface and become Sidney fucking Prescott's daughter. Okay? So I liked that Tatum was. Was meek. I liked that. That's how we introduced her. And she had to learn how to find her own strength. She had to learn from her mother because her mother protected her from the lore of Ghostface. And so very different from Laurie Schroeder. And her character arc, again, the AI Piece of it, was a little annoying because then we find out it wasn't actually Stu. That is facetiming Sidney. It ended up being Ghostface. But Ghostface was using AI to, like, pretend that it was Stu. So when they're calling Sydney, it's not. Not really Stu, it's Stu. AI felt a little forced. I understand that. It's part of the times. I get it. You have to evolve with modern technology, right? Whereas, like, the original screams, you had the big box phone, and they were, like, calling on the big box phone, and then eventually had to, like, move to, like, texting and cell phones. And then now we're just in the age of AI and FaceTime. Right? So timely. I get it. Love Mindy and Chad's characters. Love Mindy and Chad's roles. Those are the only two that. They're the twins. And so they come from Scream 5 and 6. They were the new characters that were introduced, and they're the new legacy characters. So they're the new Dewey and Gale. So Gale Weathers is the news reporter. She goes through all of them. Dewey is the sheriff. And so Dewey was also Tatum's brother, Rose McGowan's older brother. And so he died in Scream 5. Spoiler. Sorry. Kind of threw that spoiler out there without warning you, but so he dies in Scream 5. And so now the only legacy characters from the original Scream movies are Sidney and Gale. But now you have Mindy and Chad, who are from the the diversion of Scream 5 and 6. So Mindy and Chad have now returned and they work for Gale. And now Mindy wants to be the new Gayle. And so you have Chad there and you have Mindy. They're not lovers. They're related. They're family. But they have that same, like, you know, we're not the main one. We're not the Tatum. But were Mindy and Chad were the new Dewey and Gail, which I love. And so they get to be, like, the supporting character, supporting legacy characters of the lead character, which now becomes Tatum because she's Sidney Prescott's daughter. So the film, I felt like, was like a handing of the torch to the next Scream generation in a way. I think, you know, they missed the mark with Tara and Sam's characters. And I'm kind of happy that they're gone, like, they filled the role. But we're moving on to one thing that I was disappointed in Scream 7 with. I mean, there were a couple of things. The AI again, felt kind of forced. I wish they would have had a Rose McGowan integration because they do have an AI montage where they show so many of the former, like, Ghostface characters and people from Sidney's past that have this, like, AI thing where they, like, come to Sydney and they're, like, talking to her, and it's the Ghostface that's messing with her. That I wish they would have integrated Rose McGowan in that way and let Rose McGowan have an AI version of Tatum in today's age stage, which I think just would have been, like, the perfect cameo. I would have died. But whatever. My biggest and saddest disappointment in this Scream, though, is Gail fucking Weathers. Courtney Cox is still alive. She's still here. She's still with us. But I don't love Gale's character in this movie because to me, it was, like, my biggest disappointment because Gale Weathers has always been a badass, too, just like Sidney Prescott. Love, Gail Weather. She's Gail fucking Weathers, right? She's been a badass in all the previous six movies, even when she came face to face and fought Ghostface in Scream 6. But her character arc here just kind of made me a little sad. I get it. You know, just like the AI integration. I understand. It's just a sign of the Times. But Gail's characters seem to have been weathered down right? Like, she's worn. She's got ptsd. She's crippled with grief. Her fame is fading. She's no longer the. The Gale Weathers. Like, she. Her show gets canceled, and she's, you know, struggling to find out who she is. Especially after losing Dewey, who she was so in love with. So I could see, like, she's now, like, taking pills because she has ptsd and she has, like, nerve damage. So her hands are shaky. And, like, she. You can just see they aged Gale's character, understandably. But, you know, I just. I was. I was sad because I'm like, no, she's Gale Weather. She's not supposed to age. But understandably, Gale Weathers character was older than Sidney Prescott's character. So it kind of could have been, like, Sydney seen her future of, like, you know, Gail, like, word, Gail's career and, like, trajectory has landed. Could be Sydney's fate too. So I can see how maybe they're setting this up for a possible future. Gail being ghost face in the future based off of, like, you know, her fame's fading, she's crippled with grief, she's got ptsd. So in turn, she becomes the villain. But also, you know, the way that they've aged her character. I don't know how believable that would be. Especially now that she has her nerve damage, like I said. So I don't know. And there's also, like, a really tender moment between Gale and Sidney at the end where Sidney's like, you're the only person I've ever trusted. You've always had my back. And she's just like, of course I was. I always had your back. I've always got you. Blah, blah. And I was like, oh, wouldn't that be the real, like, knife in the gut if the one person that Sidney actually comes to trust and love ends up being Gale, you know, in the end? I don't know. I'm just saying I could possibly see that. But I loved Gale's entrance in this movie. She ends up killing the first ghost face. She's driving her car, and boom, she hits him and he's dead. Loved the mother daughter dynamic of this movie with Sidney and Tatum. Because that's how it all started, was a mother daughter dynamic with Sidney and her floozy mama. Sidney, you know, she was dragged all in. She was dragged into this whole mess because of her mother. And now Tatum's dragged all into this because of the. Her mother. And she's now forced to become a fighter the same way Sidney was forced to become a fighter. Great. Right? Now, when it comes to the killer, this is the biggest discourse online. I don't think there's anybody, anybody that loved this Ghostface reveal. I thought that this was probably in all eight of the movies. Even though we had, like, wacky lost brother, like, long lost brothers, and, you know, the family with the museum and all of that stuff. Even though there were so many, like, strange tangents. This. This was probably the worst Ghostface in my opinion. Now, only because it was, like, it was lame. It was the lamest one, right? So it ends up being Anna Camp. She's the one from Pitch Perfect. So in this movie, she plays the neighbor, Sidney's neighbor, and Sydney's neighbor has. Sydney's neighbor has a son who's, like, super obsessed and wants to start a podcast. He's obsessed with the Woodsboro murders and he's, like, so enamored by Sidney Prescott, blah, blah, blah. He's, like, super into it and, like, so deep into it, which, listen, I was not. She ends up being the ghost face, but we barely see her. She maybe has, like, two minutes of screen time in the movie. So the whole point of Scream and is it always ends up being somebody close to you, right? The boyfriend, the best friend, the cousin, the long lost brother. Like, it's always somebody in close proximity to you, and you never really know who it is. So the fun of trying to find Ghostface is you're trying to look at everybody as a suspect, and you're like, who is Ghostface? And so what they did was they tried to completely change the rule book by killing all of the usual suspects. So everybody around Tatum, who it would have normally have been, all ended up getting killed by Ghostface. So then in the end, it gets revealed that it ended up being Sidney's neighbor, who, again, we've saw for, like, maybe two minutes of screen time, if that maybe, like, I want to say a minute total is the amount of screen time that Anacamp's character had. And so it just. It was so random. And it was like, we don't even know who this person. I have no emotional attachment to Anacam's character. You know, we're seven movies in. I get it. We had to, like, change things up. And the only way to shake things up was to pick somebody that was more random and not in the immediate friend group. Somebody that was unexpected. But this one, to me, it was just. It was too random. We didn't care about the ghost Face. And then the story itself just wasn't even that good of why she did it. She ended up being this woman who was in an abusive relationship who reads Sidney Prescott's book, and it inspires her to break free of her toxic relationship. You know, she's like Blake Lively and it ends with us. And she's like, I'm breaking free. And so she breaks away. And then she. But she's like, such a Sydney super fan. And then it turns out Sydney didn't go to New York. She wasn't in Scream 7, so. Or, sorry, she wasn't in Scream 6. And because Sidney wasn't in Scream 6, then the crazy neighbors like, oh, Sydney's gone off the grid. I need to find her. How dare she just abandon me? Like, she ends up being, like, a crazy person, and she's like, you abandoned me. Like, she was an obsessive fan that was upset that Sidney went off the grid. So she goes to find Sydney and find out where she's living. And, yeah, orchestrates this whole thing to terrorize Sidney and her daughter. Now, being that she did the whole Stu AI integration, I would have loved if Anna Camp's character wouldn't have just been a random obsessed fan. I would have loved the motivation to have been that Anna Camp's character was Stu's older sister. Stu apparently had an older sister in the original Scream movie. So it would have been better if the sister was using AI Stu. Because we find out Stu is actually dead and he only comes back because he ended up being AI. But her obsession with Stu and her obsession with Sydney is because she was really Stu's older sister. I liked that theory so much better. So much better. Zach better be on Scream A. Oh, I wish. But. So, yeah, I thought that the kill or the killer was just a little too random for me. I didn't necessarily love it, but overall, I really enjoyed the movie. I thought the kills were good. I loved all the nostalgia bait. We'll see. Like, we're in an era of nostalgia right now. We'll see how that ages. But, like, I want to remember that we are in the age of nostalgia. And I love this age of nostalgia. And I loved all the throwbacks to all of the last six movies. Based off of its box office performance, Scream killed it. I'm expecting Scream 8. I'm expecting something big to come from Gail and Sydney. I think they may even kill Sydney off at some point. Or maybe Gail. I think one of them has to go and scream 8. Like, at that point, one of them has to go now. So. There we are. That's where we're at. We have the worst actors in the movies. In a few years will all be a. AI Actors. It's possible. It is possible. I think AI is coming to replace a lot of jobs, and I don't know what's going to happen when that happens. Sense. I think they're trying to turn us into like a. What do they call it? Like a. The state that they call it where they're just like. Everybody is just, like, dependent on the government and we're going to be like, Wally. I feel like that's. That's where we're at. Gail is more expensive. Gail is not more expensive. It was reported that not Sydney, Nev. Campbell got paid 5 million to do Scream, whereas Courtney Cox only made 1 million to do Scream. This new Scream. Yay. Macadoo says, love this recap of Scream. You killed it. Gotta go see it now. Oh, you haven't seen it. You let me spoil the entire movie for you, and you didn't even see it yet.
