I hope you guys had a great weekend. If you were on YouTube this morning, then you will know this is my second time going live and it's because I was taping today's episode this morning and then I had a power outage. So the WI fi was dead. Everything was dead. And unfortunately I wasn't able to keep the show going. I like tried to log on on my phone. Even logging or ending the stream was crazy and chaotic. So this, we are doing this again. So if there were a couple of the stories that I already delivered to you this morning, I apologize. Apologize. But have no fear, we're just gonna recap some of those stories yet again. Tanya says nothing better than Zach twice a day. Thank you, Tanya. I'm glad you appreciate that. I'm glad you're here and you're loving it and you're. You're down for the vibes. Okay? That said, shall we dive in? Okay. Emma Roberts has gotten married. Emma Roberts. I know it's very exciting. Everyone loves Emma Robert. I love Emma from Scream Queens. Her biggest, I think credit currently is American Horror Story. She's been. Or she was actually in Scream for Scream. Yeah, Scream 4. She was Sydney's niece, but she was also. She was in we the Millers. She was or were the Millers. She was in Unfabulous. That was like her first, like big breakout role on Nickelodeon. And she's most notable for American Horror Story. She's usually on the cast. She's been in several seasons, I believe there are only a couple that she was not in. But the rest of it she was definitely a part of. But Bert. Yeah, she has gotten married to Cody John. Her. Her hubby, her now her new hubby and her aunt Julia Roberts was in attendance. However, her dad was not in attendance. And the interesting thing is when I went live and I broke this story this morning because obviously Eric Roberts, her father, who's also an actor, brother of Julie Roberts, he's been estranged from his daughter for quite some time. But at least when I delivered this story this morning, we didn't know why Eric Roberts was not attendant, was not in attendance. We just assumed that it was because their feud, their falling out, whatever it is, had continued to carry on. But he is now addressing why he was not at Emma Roberts wedding in Idaho to Cody John, who is also an actor. He's not, I think he did like a CW show. He's done like some stuff, but he's not super famous like his wife, Emma Roberts, who also has a son. Her son Rhodes is the one. I believe he's now five years old. She had Rhodes with her ex back in 2020 and I believe they split in 2021. But. So her son Rhodes is the one that walked her down the aisle because her father was not there. But he confirmed to Page Six that he was not in attendance. And he gave a statement to Page Six. He says, I love my daughter. Always have, always will. It was perfectly wonderful to her. It was perfectly wonder wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants with whomever she wants. And I guess he's accepting that. I mean, sounds to me like he was not invited. Sounds to me like she did not want him there. She was like, nah, no thanks, bruh. So, yikes. Another big wedding uninvitation. First Blake Lively, not invited to Taylor Swift's wedding. Now Emma Roberts, her famous dad, Eric Roberts, not invited to her wedding. But at least now he's addressed and he's like, listen, kind of sounds like he didn't get the invite. I wish Blake Lively would have given us a statement as to how she felt about not being invited to Taylor Swift's wedding. But the thing is, Emma. Emma. Yeah. Emma Roberts had a very, like, intimate ceremony here. I'll pull up some pictures that were published by Page Six and by people of the wedding. It looks cute. So cute. Julie Roberts was there. She was in like a fun florally gown. But sadly there was no Eric Roberts. But I wish, like I said, I wish Blake would have given us something. Thousand people were invited. At least Emma Roberts had like an intimate ceremony, whereas Taylor Swift had like a giant ceremony. And everybody was there. Except, like there were like somebody was saying that. I think it was like a comedian on Instagram reel or a TikTok. And they were like, you know, some waiter, bartender, person that doesn't even care about Taylor Swift. Got to see Taylor in her wedding gown. And that is an image that Blake Lively will never have. But one thing Blake Lively does love is her man, Ryan Reynolds. Is he hurting for some cash? Is he having some money problems? Ryan Reynolds was spotted at Comic Con. He crashed Comic Con in a Deadpool. A denim themed Deadpool suit, which is very strange. So Marvel was at Comic Con announcing the cast or new cast member, I guess some of the cast members for the upcoming Avengers Doomsday. So obviously there have been a million different Avengers movies, million different Marvel movies with a lot of different superheroes, I believe now some sort of licensing thing or some sort of merger or something, approval was given. So now the X Men are allowed to be in these different Marvel and Avengers movies. And so now we're starting to see the X Men. But the traditional, the. The original X Men in the original X Men movies in the early 2000s, they're now coming back around. So we had like Hugh Jackman who was Wolverine. Obviously we've seen Wolverine. He had his own movie. He did Wolverine and Deadpool. But like, there were a bunch of others that had. That were a part of the original X Men movies. That was James Marsden. He played Cyclops there. I'm really. We better get a Halle Berry. Okay. She played Storm in the original X Men. I feel like that's the most important X Men to me. I mean, outside of like Hugh Jackman, who's Wolverine, and James Marston, who is Cyclops. There was. How do you say her name? Famkey Jansen. Fame key. Fomke Jansen. She played Jean Gray. And we also had Patrick Stewart who played Professor X. Ian McKellen who played Magneto. I Believe they made cameos in the recent. Not Loki. Was it Loki? Was it the Loki movie? Oh, no, it was Dr. Strange. Dr. Strange and the Multiverse or Multiverse of Madness or something like that. Anyway, a lot of these X Men characters are now being reintroduced into these Avengers movies. And it's like this big, exciting announcement that comes every week. There's like, oh, who's gonna be in? Oh, my God, Chris Evans is returning, but he's Steve Rogers. He's not Captain America. I know it's very confusing. There are lots of threads and ties and stuff. But so the Marvel universe has a bunch of these different characters. And I like that what Marvel is doing is incorporating, like, some of these legacy characters or the legacy actors that played these characters into the newer movies. Like, there was one of the recent Spider man movies did a. Because they're like playing into this multiverse, you know, multi universe, sort of alternate dimension theme. And there was one where in one of the Spider man movies, now Spider man is played by Tom Holland, the little guy that married Zendaya. But previously, Andrew Garfield played Spider Man. And then prior to him, my Spider man was Toby Maguire. He was in the first three Spider Men's. He is my Spider Man. Although I think Andrew Garfield is the hottest Spider man, but Toby Maguire is my Spider Man. And so they did it where, like, they had all three of them dressed up as Spider man, and then they, like, run into each other and they're like, wait, you're Spider Man, I'm Spider Man. Oh, wait, we're all from a different universe, a different dimension. And so I just. I thought that was kind of of cool. But so they're incorporating all of these different legacy characters. So, like, Rebecca Romain, I believe, is going to be in the New Avengers Doomsday. She played the original Mystique. Back in the original 2000s film series, there were three films, I believe Mystique. Eventually, when they did the younger versions, Mystique was played by Jennifer Lawrence. So Jennifer Lawrence played the younger version of Rebecca Roman's Mystique. But, yeah, I'm excited to see these characters kind of all come together. I kind of enjoy. I mean, I'm not like, super into it. I don't know. I don't nerd out. I don't go to any of the Comic Con events. I'm not like that crazy. But, like, I am, like, fascinated by it. But anyway, so like, even at this past Comic Con, they announced Elizabeth Olsen is returning as Scarlet Witch. She's gonna be in the new Avengers Doomsday movie. Obviously, Robert Downey Jr. Is coming back. He originally played Iron man, but Iron man dies in Endgame. And so now he's coming back, but he's coming back as Dr. Doom. It's very complicated, I know, but multi layered. All you need to know is Ryan Reynolds plays Deadpool. Deadpool is part of the Marvel universe. As far as we know. Deadpool is not a part of the new. Is not a part of this new, what do you call it? Movie. But Ryan Reynolds showed up in this denim costume dress, dressed as Deadpool in denim, face covered, claims he didn't have a handler, he didn't have an assistant, he didn't have anybody, but he bought his own pass and he walked. And so when they were doing the Q and A at the end of the panel, Ryan Reynolds walks up and he's like, hey, so tell me a little bit about, tell me a little bit about filming. When does filming start? And you can clearly see it or hear that it's Ryan Reynolds voice, but he's obviously wearing the Deadpool mask. You don't verify that it's him. And as far as we know, he was walking around with his mask on and didn't have any security or handlers as far as he claims. But he was like, poking fun at, like, the fact that Deadpool is not in the upcoming Avengers Doomsday. But the fact that he stood in line and asked a Q a question tells me that Deadpool might be making some sort of cameo. I don't know. I don't really care to see Ryan Reynolds based off of the comments that we're seeing. Nobody wants to see Ryan Reynolds. Nobody wants him back in Doomsday. But Andy said the leaks have shown Deadpool is in Doomsday. I don't know if those leaks are real, though. Like, so many of these leaks show show like they seem like they're AI. So I don't know. But Blake Lively posted about her hubby, Ryan. She's like, ooh, when you're reading a Captain America book and you get interrupted by a FaceTime from dad. And then she is. It's a FaceTime screenshot that she posted because of course she has to show us that her and Ryan are still good and they still talk to each other and calls her all the time. He calls her all the time. So they can act like their relationship is so great. It's so perfect. They love each other. Kissy kissy kissy lovey lovey lovey ooh lovey doo doo goo goo. So okay, great. Thanks for letting us know. And then she has one of her kids assuming the youngest olin because it looks like a young little boy, but then she has his face covered with a bear emoji, which I think is just weird. Like when. Especially when celebrities cover their kids faces with emojis. I find it so strange because, like, we've seen their kids on red carpets. We've seen their kids on paparazzi photos, and the kids faces aren't blurred out. We've seen Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's kids before, so I don't know, but she put a little bit. At least she put a bear. I'll give her that. Whereas it's even more annoying when people put, like, the emoji smiley faces or the hearts, the different colored. That, to me, is so stupid and annoying. But the little bear at least is cute. But of course, Blake had to jump in on this and be like, oh, my God, look at my man. Ooh. And then she reshared a video that he posted to his Instagram of him showing off the suit and getting ready to go to Comic Con. I don't know if this was staged or not. I do kind of feel like this was planted so that they can have some sort of. And I'm pretty sure it was Ryan Reynolds idea. He was like, oh, I got the funniest idea. I'm gonna pretend to be a fan dressed up as Deadpool to do Q and A. Oh, I'm so funny. I'm sure he thought he was just the funniest thing ever. You know, he's. He's the best thing that's ever happened to this world since knock, knock jokes. But he posted a little video, and Blake Lively, we shared it, and she put my kind of lol. Surprise. I'm just, like, so sick of these two. They're so gross to me. They used to be so cute. They used to be couples goals, and now they're just gross, grossy, grossy, grossy. But speaking of grossi, The Wayfarer parties, Justin Baldoni, who is one of the collective Wayfair parties, has just been issued by Judge Gerald Lebovitz to pay up the New York Times. The Wayfarer parties have been ordered to pay $171,000. More specifically, 171,616. And wait, how do you say that? $171,616.20. So they even threw in a little extra 20 cents. Little extra change. The order has been. The bill has been slapped down on the table. So this is not Judge Lyman, and this is not for Blake Lively. Okay, so this is just what the Wayfarer parties will have to pay to the New York Times for their defamation lawsuit. Right? Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties collectively. It was Baldoni. It ends with us. Movie llc, Wayfair Studios Steve Sarawitz, Jamie Heath, Jennifer Abel, Melissa Nathan and Tag pr. Okay, all of them were suing Blake Lively for defamation. And furthermore, they were suing the New York Times for defamation. I believe there was also claims against Leslie Sloan and Ryan Reynolds. Uncertain what's happening with Sloan or Reynolds, but at least for the New York Times, they were fighting for their attorney's fees because the Wayfarer parties did not prevail on their defamation claim. It's not because they didn't have evidence. It's not because there wasn't a real case, but it's because there were protections that were put in place to legally protect them. Right. So the press, which includes the New York Times, the media does have certain press privileges that make it really difficult for celebrities to sue the press. Right. Even if they technically tell a story that's maybe not entirely true or it's done in an unsavory way, that doesn't mean that they don't still have protections. And so the arguments that the New York Times made, which got the defamation claim dismissed before we even went into discovery, Right? So before there was any evidence that could have proved any sort of malice. Because that's a really key thing in a defamation claim with a public figure, with somebody that has, like, a celebrity profile or even just somebody like me, that's public. Right. It's very challenging to win a defamation lawsuit. You have to be a very private citizen, and something has to be done that. That can hurt your reputation. Whereas, like, somebody like me or somebody like Baldoni, if you're known, if you have a public profile, it's hard, because even if there's something that hurt a story that may hurt your reputation, you have to prove that it was done with mis. Malice, Right? It was. It was false. It hurt your reputation. And then the publisher knew that it was false and still moved forward. Right. They were reckless or they were malicious in publishing this story, and it ended up hurting you. There were damages, your reputation was hurt, yada, yada, yada. So really hard to do. Bold move of Baldoni to even go at that. But I also think part of the strategy wasn't necessarily to win a defamation lawsuit, because that's always going to be an uphill battle. I think what they were really trying to is to make sure that they got their side of the story out there. And I think that even though they ultimately did not prosper on that defamation claim, they still ultimately ended up winning. Right, because they came out, they put all of their evidence out there. They put together their entire website. I think that they were hoping that the case would at least get far enough to where they could get into discovery and start to dig up things that could prove malice and could maybe give them a fighting chance down the line. But ultimately, Judge Lyman did not allow it to move forward because, like the New York Times argued, one, they didn't come up with this story all on their own. They were reporting what was written in Blake Lively's CRD complaints. So they kind of, like, kept their hands clean of being like, well, listen, we didn't do anything. We just believed her. Who knows if she was lying? If she lied, that's not really our fault. All we did was report on the document that was provided to us. We had sources. And not only that, not only did we just report on that document, but we were also given additional materials that we reviewed that verified or backed up the claims or the allegations that were made in the CRD complaint. So the New York Times was protected in that. And they also claimed, because smear campaign was like, a key term that was used in their reporting. And they even fought back about that because they were like, well, that was our opinion. We're allowed to have an opinion. And in our opinion, based off of the information that we got access to and based off of the sources that we had, we believed that that in our minds, equated to a smear campaign. So that's where they were able to get get off on certain technicalities, semantics, whatever, because technically they can have an opinion, and they were just reporting. And that was their opinion based off of what they reported from the information that they were given, which was the California Civil Rights Department complaint, Blake Lively, CRD complaint. Now, Blake Lively had her protections against defamation, because you can't sue somebody for defamation when they have litigation privilege. So New York Times had press privileges, but Blake Lively had litigation privileges. And so the litigation privilege, whatever claims you make in a court filing in a legal document like this is protected speech. Right? Because it's you. The intention is to protect people from bringing forth claims or allegations for fear of being sued for defamation. So when you put it in a legal filing, it's technically protected speech, and you're not allowed to be sued for defamation. Now, had Blake Lively given a quote to the New York Times, then the Wayfarer parties could have come after her. That's where Amber Heard lost. Right, Because Amber Heard one didn't put any of her allegations in any sort of formal legal documents. And what she did was she wrote an op ed and then tweeted that op ed. And that's what ultimately came back to bite her in the butt, is because her words were published in the press. And not only that, but her words were published on Twitter, now known as X. And so that's where she lost on defamation. Because there's no litigation privilege for tweets or for quotes that are published by the press. Those quotes are attributed to you, and that can be. I believe that's considered slander. Well, I don't know if it would be slander or libel because it's technically. It was a written op ed, so I guess that would technically be considered libel. Slander is spoken word. So if you give a quote, that's slant. If you. If you verbalize a quote, that's slander. But if it's in written form, that's. That's libel. So in this case, well, regardless of whether it was slander or liable, I believe, I guess it would technically be considered libel. She lost because she didn't have any of those protections. Which is why I always said from the beginning, it looks like Blake Lively's team analyzed the Amber Heard case and then made sure that they had themselves protected in every which way that they could so that they didn't end up getting screwed like Amber Heard did. They put these protections in place. So the New York Times is protected, and Blake Lively was protected. And the New York Times can also say that they were technically not biased because they did reach out to the Wayfarer parties and they did give them an opportunity to respond to the allegations that were going to be printed in the New York Times. Now, arguably, we can say, well, that was a little unethical or unsavory at best. Right, because you gave them, what, a 12 hour window overnight to respond to this seemingly my opinion hit piece against them. It was ludicrous. It was preposterous. But also, to be fair to the New York Times, not that I want to be, but we trying to be objected here, objective, they were only printing the information that they were given. And where they're sucky is they didn't do their due diligence to look further into it, right? They just took the communications that were provided by Blake Lively's team. And I said this in this morning when I was recording this episode, that a lot of times, what happens with the press is they're on such a rush. They have a quota, and they're trying to get out as many articles as they can, right? So the unfortunate part is a lot of the times, PR teams will basically hand you the story when you work in the press, right? They'll give you the quotes that you need. They'll give you the pieces of, you know, documents that may be relevant or helpful. And in this case, it looks like they kind of, you know, put everything together on a nice silver platter, provided that to the New York Times. And the New York Times, who I think was so ju. Was so hungry for a juicy store, another Rose McGowan, Harvey Weinstein story that they just ran with it. I think they didn't care to do their due diligence. They're like, wow, you got a subpoena, you got text messages like, this Seems pretty sound. Let's run it through legal. Legal says as long as we're reporting on the CRD complaint, I imagine that's how it went. And they ran with it. And they're like, well, let's give them a chance to respond if we want to, but, like, let's not give them a ton of time, because we kind of want to hit them. Hit them from the side, get them with the jugular. And, yeah, that's. That's what they did. It was unsavory. It was sloppy journalism. It was shady. But it's technically all legal. And nothing. Nothing about that would be considered defamatory under the law. We may think it's defamatory. We believe that Blake Lively lied. But again, whether she's lying or telling the truth, her words, her allegations are protected because they were only ever disclosed in the CRD complaint. Complaint and in her. Her lawsuit that came later. But if she had tweeted something, if she tweeted Beldonia as a predator, if she had posted on her Instagram a video being like, oh, my God, this is my experience has happened to me, all of that would be different. You wouldn't have the press privileges. You wouldn't have the litigation privilege. But so, because the Wayfarer parties did not prevail on their defamation claim against the New York Times, the New York Times provided their bill, and their Bill amounted to 171,000, so just under 200, which is probably what I assume Blake Lively will end up getting herself. I'm sure the Wayfarer parties will, as they did before, will use this as an example. Yeah. Not gonna look too good for them in the end, but we'll see. We shall see. We have Judge Lyman's order that should be coming out soon, hopefully very soon, because I am ready for it. I am ready for this whole case to be done. Those done, done, done, done, done. And on that note, let's move into the David trial. Or sorry, not trial. Preliminary hearing. We are not at trial yet. We are awaiting trial. But. So the preliminary hearing. Oh, wait, is it still going on? There's no way. No, it ended right. Oh, we got an answer. Well, look at. See all of these things that we didn't have answers for this morning. We got an answer. So long story short, breaking news. The judge has ordered David to stand trial for murder. So the preliminary hearing has finally come to a close. The judge has made his ruling. He has ordered that the murder case for Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who is or would have been 14 years old, that will be proceeding to trial. It will be moving forward. Also, on the topic of true crime, we'll get into the David details in just a sec. I am going to be covering two other cases, but I'll dive into them tomorrow because as of right now, it's just too many topics to cover. Actually, three things that I'll be covering on tomorrow's show. Show one. Brian Coburger. He is seeking to withdraw his guilty plea. That is a crazy murder case. So tomorrow is going to be true. A true crime Tuesday. We're going to get into Brian Coburger. That's a crazy one. We're going to be getting into. Nolan Wells because there's a new TMZ voicemail or a voicemail that's been cleaned up that people are thinking may indicate that his friends may have done something to him. Nolan Wells is the the teenager young adult that went missing 4th of July weekend when his friends left him on an island for fourth of July weekend because he allegedly wanted to hang out with some girl. And then he was found dead a few days later. And then we'll also get into Lindsay Clancy because her trial has begun. She unalived her three young kids and now is claiming that or her defense team is arguing that the reason she did this is because of she had postpartum and she was on a cocktail of different medications that ultimately contributed to her not being in the right mental state to care for the kids. Her husband ran an errand, left her home alone, came home and she had taken all three kids lives and tried to take her own. Ultimately she did not prosper in taking her own life. But her kids unfortunately did not make it. And so now she is. Her trial has begun. So Clancy, Nolan Wells and Coburger. I'll cover all three of those tomorrow. So tomorrow is going to be a true crime day. Susan Jump says CO Burger pleaded guilty so that he can rescind that plea but it will result in a trial. a trial date set yet? A specific trial date has not yet been set. Following a five day preliminary hearing, the judge ruled today the 27th, July 27th that the murder will proceed. Murder case will proceed to trial. Defense prosecutor Prosecution lawyers are scheduled to meet in the coming weeks to set a formal timeline with an arraignment scheduled for August 31, 2026. Dang. Trial date is expected to be discussed and scheduled following the August arraignment anticipated to take place within 30 days of that August. Okay. So that's September. October, November. So by December, before the end of the year, we will have this trial. Wow. Yeah. Within 90 days. Because. Right. Because criminal cases, I believe there's a precedence that takes place. It was heartbreaking with Prince Patrick Clancy on the stand today. I know. We'll get into that tomorrow, guys. Okay, David. So biggest developments that came out, prosecutors presented digital evidence from David's phone that say that it included explicit images involving Celeste and messages concerning her alleged pregnancies and abortions. So it appears that she likely got pregnant multiple times and then aborted those pregnancies. The testimony also reportedly included messages suggesting that Celeste feared or threatened to expose their relationship, which could have been the motivation as to why David may have allegedly done this. I believe he did, but we. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, so we'll have to wait to see what comes out at trial. I personally think it's not looking good for him. Seems a little clear to me. But, you know, legally, we can't say certain things because everyone is innocent until proven guilty. There was also forensic testimony that focused on blood evidence. An LAPD criminalist testified about blood stains that were found on items associated with David's home and other evidence. Prosecutors are arguing that some of the blood evidence could be connected to Celeste. I don't know if there's clear confirmation. The defense has challenged that. And, I mean, they're going to challenge everything that's kind of their job. But clearly, none of their challenges affected the judge because he's. He's moving this case forward. And then the prosecution's theory of motive, I think, has now become a lot more clear. So they believe or they allege that David did this to Celeste after she threatened to expose the relationship, potentially jeopardizing his career. Obviously, he was making millions of dollars per year. He had properties, he had cars, he had a staff. His family seemed to be benefiting from him financially. And so they also presented evidence that shows planning around the alleged dismemberment and disposal of the body. As we know, Celeste was found dismembered in the trunk of his Tesla or the Tesla that was registered to him. So now that the hearing has concluded, it was very graphic. There were photos of the state of Celeste when they found her in the Tesla, which was very unsettling and very disturbing. It does appear that there was at least a reputational career motive and a money motive. The defense, to my understanding, was trying to push back and claim that David wasn't Even though, yes, he was making a lot of money. He wasn't even the one that was in charge of the money. And he had a manager that was claiming that the mother was. Or David's mom was in charge of the money. And it also appears David's mom was somewhat aware of this relationship that he was having with Celeste, which is crazy. But, yeah, there was, you know, evidence of their alleged relationship, those digital communications the prosecution presented, their alleged motive. There was physical evidence. There was, you know, the remains that were found. We'll see what happens, but looks like it's. It's moving forward regardless. It's just sad, you know, and the parents being there. But it also, like, brings so many questions about, like, well, what did the parents know? Both parents, right. What did David's family know? And what did Celeste's family know? If you have. I mean, it seems like they met when she was, what, 11. So let's see. 21, he's six years older than her. So even at 11, he was, what, 15, 16, 17. Still, you know, not of age to be doing that with her. And then also brings into question, if they believe that she had multiple pregnancies and multiple abortions, how was she? Did they not find all of her body? I believe they did, Amy. It was just in piece, or I guess there were a couple of pieces that were missing from my understanding, but the body, like, it had been there for so long, it had decomposed. They said that there was skin slippage on her face, so they couldn't even identify her until they reviewed her dental records. But the part that's really strange for me is that in terms of Celeste's family, and I know that they're grieving, and I don't. You know, I can't even imagine what they're feeling or how difficult this is for her. But I also have questions about what they knew and when they knew it. Because when Celeste first went missing, one of the first places that police were directed to go to was to David's home. We found that out in court that they visited his home back in April of 2024. That's when she was first reported missing. So if police officers are going to David's home to ask him some questions, then that tells me that it's very likely that somebody knew that she was in a relationship or some had some sort of relationship with David or actually, sorry, there was somebody on Spotify that's like, don't say they were in a relationship. He groomed her. Yes. Sorry. You know what I mean, but if the police were first directed to go visit David's home and to see if he knew anything about her, then. And I'm assuming that came from the parents. Right. That tells me that there was an awareness that she was involved with David, number one. Number two, when the body was found in David's Tesla, because the Tesla had been abandoned, ultimately it ended up getting taken to it, getting towed, and then once it was towed, they opened it and found the remains that were all chopped up. And when that news broke and it was on and it was on television, on the news, that's when Celeste's father called into authorities and said that he believed that that may have been his missing daughter, who at that point had been missing for over a year. She went missing, what, it was April of 2024 and she was found, what, September of 2025, if I'm not mistaken. I might be a little fuzzy on those exact details. I'm going based off of recollection, but that's understanding of what the timeline was. So she was missing for over a year. They said that she was 13 at the time. She would have been 14 at the time that they believe she was murdered, and then she would have been 15 now if she were still alive. It's crazy. So, I mean, did the parents think she ran away with David? Did they think like, I don't know. And David, you know, seemed like he tried to play it off to authorities and be like, I don't know. I didn't really know her. I've only met her one time. But then they had matching tattoos. Remember, he had her name tattooed on his body. They had matching shh. Tattoos on their index finger, which is usually the finger you use when you go shh. So I don't know. How do you not know that you're 11, 12, 13 year old daughter has a tattoo and is spending a lot of time with this guy. He had plane tickets. What was it to? To Dallas and to London in his name and Celeste's name. So again, how was she going to travel with this guy if her parents didn't have some sort of awareness? Susan says they couldn't have thought she ran away. Wouldn't they have been looking for her? I believe they were looking for her. Right. Katie says she was not missing for all that time. She left her home to go to his house via Uber the night she was killed. No, I believe she was missing. I don't know the exact timeline, but my understanding is she was missing for some time and then after she Went missing at some point in the year that. In the year in between when she was reported missing to when she was found. She was killed within that time frame. But I my understand we don't know exactly when she was killed. Is my understanding. Am I. Oh, the April 2024 incident is different. I thought she would. Hold on. When did. Sometimes people do put wrong information in the live chat. When did Celeste revisit go missing? Because they get the details wrong. She was. Yeah, okay. I'm not wrong. She was reported missing on April 5, 2024. She was 13 years old at the time. Oh. However, she returned home earlier. She returned home after earlier missing persons reports in February and March. What? She was last reported missing, however, she returned home after earlier missing person reports in February and March. Okay. So, yes, February and March she was reported missing, and she sounds like she came home at some point, but April. Yeah, I'm not crazy. You guys were. April is when she was officially missing, and April is when they went to David's home. That's when David was questioned in April of 2024. And she was officially reported missing in April of 2024. However, yes, I believe there were of her. I mean, it kind of seems like she would run away or she would leave at some point. So, again, her parents had to have known that this guy was in her life. Let's see. If you're asking about the disappearance that preceded her death. Prosecutors alleged she disappeared in April of 2025 after leaving Lake Elsinore and traveling to David's Hollywood Hills residence. Her remains were discovered in September of 2025. Got it. She was last reported missing in April of 2024, but she disappeared in April of 2025. That was the last. No. Okay. So my understanding of this is she was not home with her parents from April of 2024 to April of 2025. April of 2025 is the last time she was known to be alive with David, and she was ultimately found in September. So presumably she died in April 2025, and that's May, June, July, August, September, October. Whoa. Five months. Right? May, June, July, August, September. For a little around 4ish months. 4ish months. Christina says. I'm trying to tell you that the parents signed a consent form for her to travel with him. Yeah, see, the parents were well aware. Yeah, I think that's what one of the things that came out in the later, I think. I mean, do we know if the parents were financially benefiting from this? If, like, he was paying them in some way? It's crazy that they. I mean, I also understand her being young and her being like, I love him, you. And it's like a Romeo and Juliet thing. But it sounds like the parents were very well aware of this and were probably okay with it because he had money and he was famous, and they think because he has money and power. I just. I could not imagine that. Okay. So they. They. It was April 24, when they believed that she was taken. Zach got me counting my Counting with my fingers, because we're trying to. The timeline is so. Because I think that's the part that confused me was April 2024 and April 2025, because, like, she had been reported missing. And that's the part that gets confusing, is they believed that she was missing multiple times. Sorry. So I apologize. The timeline is a little hard to keep up with. After the April 2024 incident, she went to the middle school. Got it. April 23rd is when he offered her. Allegedly offed her. Allegedly. That. Because that's when Uber dropped her off. He text her, where are you? After she was already dropped off, he never text her again. So at that point, he must have known. He probably text her to be like, she never showed up that night. I have no idea what happened to her. As if we just fell out of a coconut tree. The detectives testified today that both families were well aware of the nature of their relationship. Wow. So that came out of court today because today, I believe, was the final day of the hearing. So. Yeah. So then it's confirmed. The parents knew. That's crazy. Like, that to me, is wackadoodle. Wild crazy and just sad, you know, just sad and heartbreaking. And, like, I just. I don't know. Just breaks my heart that this poor little girl had nobody protecting her. I just. I can't. Like, Uber isn't tracking everything. That's the thing that people don't get. Like, Uber tracks everything. Like, every where you got picked up, where you got dropped off, the entire map. Ubers usually have cameras in them now. Like, I don't know how you think you're gonna fool anybody by being like, let me text you and say, hey, honey, where are you? And then suddenly, I just never text you again. Be like, hello, where are you? I'm worried because that would be a normal response, right? If she's on her way to Uber to your house, and. And then what? She doesn't show up, you're gonna be like, hello, where are you? And then if she doesn't respond in an hour, you're gonna be like, hello, I'm trying to get a hold of you. Are you okay? Please let me know that you're okay. You're gonna try to call them? Especially since she's a young girl. He's what? At that point, he was 20. He's now 21. Ridiculous. Ridiculous. Thirteen is a baby. I agree. A baby. It's tragic. Celeste was let down by everyone. It's crazy. Wasn't her. Wasn't he giving her parents money as well? I believe that's the speculation. I don't know if that was confirmed. If it was confirmed, it must have been confirmed in court today. Yeah, it's just insane.

The precise circumstances of their initial meeting have been part of a prosecution's broader timeline. Of their relationship. Then fast forward. So they met in 2022. Fast forward. In January of 2022. Fast forward to November 2023. So this is almost two years after they met. And this is allegedly when they began. When they became intimate with each other. So she was 11 at the time that they met. She's now 13. Okay. He was now 18. So he was of legal age. She was still underage. So he must have been maybe 16 or 17 at the time that they met. And she was 11. 11. That's crazy. You guys. Crazy.

Celeste was reported missing February 15th, 2024. Investigators subsequently identified Burke's cell phone number in connection with Celeste's phone records around this time of February 2024. Then February 17, 2024. This is when police contact David. So according to the prosecution's account, investigators contacted David. He reportedly said that he had spoken with Celeste several days earlier. He allegedly told investigators that he didn't know that she was a minor. How do you not know a 11 year old girl is 11 years old? How do you not? How do you think? How do you confuse an 11 year old for an 18 year old? You. You sick. That's what you are. Demented, twisted sick with an 11 year old girl. You're disgusting. He says he allegedly told investigators he didn't know she was a minor and wasn't aware that she'd been reported missing. A welfare check was then requested at his home. During the that interaction, David told investigators that he had Met Celeste only one time. In November 2023. Oh, Dink. The same time you allegedly were sleeping with her. Perv. So he's claiming he's that nothing happened. He didn't know her in 2022. I remember this was part of his claim was he only met at one time. And other than that it was only communication via phone. Which all turned out to be a lie. Okay, so this is February. Okay, so she was originally reported were missing on February 15th. Then police come and talk to him in February. On February 17, February 19, Celeste comes home after the first missing person incident. Where is she? And why are they just letting this girl? If she's missing one time and that little girl comes home, you're putting her on lockdown. You are locking her in her bedroom and saying you are grounded. You are not leaving anymore, little girl. Girl, you are too damn young to be out in them streets. Especially with this older boy. Comes home February 19th. Then a month later, March 19th, she's reported missing again. Gee whillakers. Then April 5th is the third time that she's reported missing. This is the date that has some that has sometimes been described as her last missing person's report in coverage. But it is important to distinguish this from her her April 2025 disappearance. Got it. So this is the last time she was reported missing. Is my understanding. Weird, but whatever. So prosecution alleges that Celeste and David, their relationship ended in November 2024. However, prosecutors say that they continued communicating and remained involved intimately after that. So maybe they weren't officially boyfriend and girlfriend, but they were definitely still doing things that they should not have been doing. Then we get to 2025. So April 22 is when they get into an argument. So prosecutors alleged that Celeste and David Burke exchanged a series of increasingly tense text messages. According to the prosecution, Celeste threatened to expose information about their relationship, alleging allegedly threatening to damage Burke's career and reputation. Prosecutors say this argument is important to their theory of motive. So here she is threatening to expose, dispose him. She's getting savvy, she's getting older. And she's like, yeah, homie, I got more to use against you, and you have more to lose than I do. That's the 22nd. Then April 23rd, apparently she goes to his home. And so it's. Let's see. Prosecutors alleged that Burke arranged for the Uber for Celeste. Oh, so he paid for the Uber. She came in the Uber. And then he's like, oh, she just never showed up. Where you at, girl?

Prosecutors allege that she was killed shortly after that. The prosecution's theory is that she was stabbed. Her exact cause of death was later classified as a homicide with penetrating injuries to the chest abdomen, although decomposition made it difficult for investigators to determine the exact weapon used. Then, April 2024. A shovel. So this is the next day. A shovel is purchased by David and delivered to his residence. This was approximately one day after the alleged killing. He purchased a shovel, presumably to bury something. Bury some flowers, I don't know. May 1st. This is a few days later. Two chainsaws are then purchased. Wow. So it's likely that she was just sitting there. He bought them on Amazon. What a fucking idiot. He's doing Uber rides and ordering shit off of Amazon. The prosecution argues that the purchases are significant because of the theory that the body was dismembered. I mean, I don't know if that's a theory that they found the body dismembered. Then May 5th is when body disposal supplies were purchased. What has he been doing this entire time? There was a body bag, heavy duty laundry bags and inflatable pool. Prosecutors argue that this fits a broader sequence of actions allegedly taken to conceal and dispose of the remains. Then May 2025, there was the alleged dismemberment. Prosecutors alleged that the body was dismembered around this period, sometime in May. Investigators later found evidence that the prosecution says linked, remaining linked the remains to the property, including blood and DNA evidence. Then in July, there was a burn cage that was purchased. That's what he described as a bird, as a burn cage. This is another purchase prosecutors have cited as part of their theory to dispose of evidence. Interesting. So it's possible that evidence was burned in the burn cage. It's possible that he was. Was likely going to try and dispose of the body that way. This is crazy. This is sick. September 2020, 2025 is when she was discovered Got it. So she went missing in April, and they hadn't found her then, but she was reported missing three times the year prior. It seems like at this point, the family was done reporting her missing. They're like, listen, she's probably with that dude. Let her go live her life, you know? That's when the Tesla was. Was outside, and people said there was a smell coming from it. They took. They impounded it. They investigated it. They found the body. Here we are. Now it's moving forward to trial. Crazy. Costco sells caskets so Amazon can sell body bags. I guess. I mean, I guess, but crazy. The burn cages reportedly still in the box and never used. Not yet, at least. I mean, I'm sure there were likely things that he was contemplating when the body was sitting there for months. Months? Well, I mean, we don't know how long. At some point, they believe that the dismemberment happened in May, so. Yeah, May. So at least June, July, August. At least three months. The body had been sitting in that trunk, presumably. It's a Christmas Carol movie, but I believe it focuses specifically on Scrooge. And I guess it's like the prequel of how Scrooge became Scrooge back when he was just Ebenezer. And yeah, it's his first, like, big time, like, comeback since all of the Amber Heard drama and all the. The trial. It's his first big movie role that's now putting him back out there. And it's a family friendly movie. I think that that's huge, right? Who's producing it? What I want to know. Yeah, it's Johnny Depp. He plays Ebenezer. It also has Rupert Grint. Oh, he's from Harry Potter. Harry Potter. I don't recognize any of these other names, but, yeah, produced by Emma Watts. Paramount. Wow. Paramount Pictures. That's Big Christmas Carol. Big family friendly movie. Huge. I think that's great. Scrooge's backstory with Belle and being bullied at school. Good for Johnny. Good for him. I'm loving this late afternoon. Well, we're not gonna be doing more of the late afternoon. Ooh, Scrooge's backstory. I like it. Yeah, like how Scrooge became Scrooge. Susan says, I can't wait for Johnny Depp. He will make a fun Ebenezer. I think he will too. And it's great. It's right around the holidays. It's a holiday family friendly film produced by Paramount or distributed by Paramount. Huge. Huge. Huge. This is the sign of the Johnny Depp comeback. After all that he went through, getting fired by Disney. And I believe Disney has tried to get him back from what's been reported for Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack Sparrow, and I believe he turned them down. And good for him, as he should. They turned their backs on him. They threw him to the wolves before there was any sort of real evidence that came out outside of just Amber Heard's claims, understandably. Listen, at the time, it was me too. Believe women, all that stuff. But, I mean, we've now come full circle. It'll be interesting to see what Baldoni does from here on out.
