We talked all sorts of Tate, Bravo, Nancy Guthrie. All of the things. All the things. And yeah, raised eyebrow says Lizzo went down fast. Yep. Faster than her weight dropped. It's crazy how much of a downfall she has had. Her career, her music, her trajectory, it's all just, you know, completely yikes. It's fallen, and it's fallen fast. Fallen. Don't you grow up in a hurry? And mama be worried. Even the starry nights. That's a Kanye west song. So, yeah, we'll get into that. But we do have a Nancy Benet Ramsey update. Nancy Benet Ramsey, who. Who needs a little Nancy Renee Ramsey update. We'll get into the Lizzo stuff in just a sec. But when it comes to Nancy, we have two things that just hit. First off, Sheriff Nana. Nana Nanos is ripping into tmz. So he. I guess he was on. Cause he's still out there trying to do his life of a showgirl press tour. And so he was on a local radio show, KVOI 1030. KVOI am 1030. Or yeah, 1030. So he was on this radio show talking about TMZ and the FBI. He says, I think the FBI has done a number of arrests for false or fake ransom notes. It's a shame that that happens. But I think we're looking at another one of those today. And this was in reference to, I believe, the letter that came into tmz. So this is. You remember last week, Harvey was like, I. Harvey says that it's the same person that keeps sending TMZ these emails that seem to claim to have information about Nancy and what happened to her. Remember, there was the secret phone in the secret location. And then on top of the secret phone in the secret location, there was also the video. They claimed that they have a video of Nancy Guthrie with her alleged old lady snatchers. So I don't know if Harvey's going to pay it. I feel like at this point, Harvey should just pay it. But Sheriff Nanos is like, nah, none of that's real. Don't pay attention to that. And it's like, okay, Sheriff Nanos, let's not pay attention to that because you seem to be doing a fabulous job. So let's continue to trust you. When I think all of the American people have absolutely lost faith in all of the Sheriff Nanos coverage. So he continued by saying, it is a shame that these types of events occur. People have great interest. That's good because it helps us. But then it gets really abused. Has it helped you at all? Because you don't seem to be utilizing any of These resources. He says people will call in fake ransom notes. People who claim, for the sake of media and the family, they get out and disturb, in this case, an entire neighborhood. Okay. Now, I believe he's referencing, like, the. Like, the YouTubers and people that want to cover the case, because he's also, I guess, pissed that people are still trying to cover the case. But I don't know. He said. And then he references the two notes that, as Savannah said, they believe are the real notes. He said those two that someone may or may not have. Wait. He said that someone believes may or may not have been legitimacy to them. And the FBI is working on that. I can't tell you much more on that because it would be inappropriate. It is ongoing. So we're nowhere. We got nothing. That's what he gave us. Don't believe tmz, but believe us. But we're also not sure that the two notes that we believe are real are even real. Thanks, Sheriff Nanos, for literally nothing, because all you do is give us nothing. It's like we're like, serve. And he's like, he's giving us Hilary Duff style dance moves. Who gets mad that people want to help? It's not even that they're mad. It's like they're annoyed. Like, why are you helping us? Like, stop trying to help us with this investigation. We're doing a terrible job, so please stop trying to help us. Oh, remember, yes, Al, that's right. He did say, haters gonna hate. So, yeah, that's where we at. But we do also have this other story from New York Mag. They did a whole. I guess it's New York Mag and New York Magazine and Vulture, because they did a collab post on Instagram. But they did a full story on the Today show and Savannah Guthrie and whether or not they believe the Today show can even continue on or if it will continue on despite all of this coverage about Savannah's missing mother. So it doesn't seem like they think that the Today show is even going to have much success beyond. Beyond this case, because it just seems like it's really struggling. So this is from the New York magazine, the Today show goes dark. Savannah Guthrie brought optimism and faith to the Today Show. Can it survive her tragedy? I actually think it did a decent job. It says under Savannah Guthrie and Hoda copy, the Today show became more personal, more inspirational. Guthrie's influence was explicitly Christian. According to a former contributor, NBC would rather lesser stars keep their personal views to themselves. But the company was completely behind Savannah's book about faith. No one competes with Savannah. She's the undisputed queen of the whole show, the former contributor said. Now, Nancy. After Nancy Guthrie went missing, insiders began to fear what Savannah Guthrie's extended absence would mean for Today. Maybe she wouldn't come back at all. It would be like if the quarterback went down. Oh, now she's the, she's the Michael Phelps. She's the Kobe Bryant of the Today show. It would be like if the quarterback went down, a source at the show said. Is this a career ending injury? I always said the real career ending injury would have been if something happened, right? If something, if some stuff went down and it was somebody on the inside and there was a cover up or something. Something. But hold on because it gets better. For the show itself, Nancy's disappearance was unlike any other investigation. Many would eventually cover the story. Many would eventually cover the story. Were close with Savannah Guthrie. They would now be working under unprecedented scrutiny. How could Today fairly cover the story given such clear and competing conflict of interest without knowing where the reporting would lead? How could they protect Guthrie? That's the crazy part, is that that was even in their mindset, is that they have to protect Savannah Guthrie. NBC journalists were told to go find the story as they would in any other case. But the process was still fraught, the boundaries inherently unclear at times. Someone directly involved in the coverage conceded such worries went too far. In the first day or two, they said, we opted to protect our friend and colleague. But leaving out details and not trying to use Guthrie as a source to verify their reporting, why, that's crazy. In what world would a news station would. Reporters, you're reporters, you would never do this to another subject. But the fact that she's your queen, suddenly you have to have these boundaries that she even knows don't exist in her line of work. Boundaries that she herself has crossed with the number of interviews in the past. That's crazy to me and just shows that there is a hierarchy and that there was a concerted, a concerted effort to protect Savannah Guthrie. It says a senior, a senior Today executive denied that NBC reporters were ever with. Who would ever withhold any information? Well, it's not saying that they were withholding information. It was just saying they were unclear of what the boundaries were. And I think that there were probably certain questions that they didn't feel comfortable asking or certain lines that they didn't feel comfortable crossing. So if it's not even about crossing the line and finding the information and then withholding it, it's about having the fear to even approach that line at all. That's the issue, is that there was this fear and there were these questions that people were having that they weren't willing to ask. Okay, the article continues. It took a couple of days to realize that we had to cover the story objectively. In hindsight, that may have been a mistake. We were overly differential. Well, obviously there was no way to cover it objectively. In the early days of her mom's disappearance, Guthrie barely thought about work or how she might eventually handle her return. As the case dragged on, the questions became harder to avoid. It was a month after her mother went missing that Guthrie decided to return to her family in New York. Over a month of February. The old public image of Guthrie was warm, yet poised. Self deprecating had given way to the Guthrie seen in her video appeals. A woman in desperate pain, forced to beg. Did she really beg? We only got like. I mean, the videos we got weren't very much. I would have expected her to, I don't know, plea with them a little bit more. But it was all very strange. And it's hard. Cause I don't wanna judge her in that position. Right. None of us know what that would be like. And I think we're all like. We would be, you know, we would be on every news station. Typically most families are on every news station doing that sort of stuff. But like, I don't know. I don't know. It says. At her first visit back to the studio, Guthrie stood before roughly 100 colleagues, looking pale, trying and failing to keep her composure. I mean, she was also in front of all the paparazzi. TMZ suddenly had cleared photographs of her right outside the studio. Because they were right there in the windows. If you saw her face. Isn't there has to be a place where they have staff meetings, all hands meetings that aren't accessible to the public? Right. You would think that there would be some sort of private location where she would have been able to address them without all the windows and cameras. I digress. If you saw her face, this is somebody that was entirely broken. Broken and shattered, one person said. Her colleagues wept. Guthrie thanked them for their prayers. She had felt them, she said. I don't know how to come back, Guthrie said, but I don't know how not to. You're my family and I would like to try. How would we know what she said? Unless there was like an inside scoop and then it directs you to go to the link in their bio to read the full story on whether or not. The author. What is it? Iron Erin. Carmen. And the premise of the article is whether or not she believes the Today show can survive Savannah or Nancy Guthrie's disappearance. I think that Today show can survive that, but I'm not entirely sure it can survive that With Savannah still at the helm, right? With her as the lead, with her face being plastered out to everybody every day. I don't know how confident I am that the show can continue, because that's all you see. All you see is her, is Nancy Guthrie. Every time you see Savannah, you see Nancy. But I always said it was better to. For her own reputation if Nancy stays missing rather than to find out what happened to her. If something happened. If something nefarious happened and somebody close to her, you know, was the one doing it. Izzy says she should retire. As in Savannah. I. I think she should take a pause, right? Heal, grieve, you know, do whatever she needs to do. But just like, I don't think it's healthy for her to be so public facing. I think the more she's out there, the more public scrutiny is gonna continue to surround her as questions still arise. I mean, take some time. Be with your kids. It's summer. She could have totally taken the summer off to be with her kids, written a new book. You focused on the investigation. I don't know. Something. It's just. It's interesting. I don't know. Elle says the sad. The sadness out in the streets may not survive. The tone is too dark. I know. Oh, yeah. Josh brought up wordle. Susan, thank you for the super chat. Susan says this Nancy Guthrie disappearance in the investigation is insane and truly makes no sense. Shady. Why wouldn't Savannah do everything she can to find her mother? Yes, that was a report that also came out that Hoda's been put on standby in case they need to take Savannah off and. And put Hoda back in the game. And, you know, Hoda's ready. Kate Kate Kate Kate Kate plus 8 Kate plus 7 Now so as we know, Kate Goslin's son Colin, Colin Goslin, he is going to be releasing a new book this October, October 17th. It's called in the Shadow of Eight and the COVID looks like a paparazzi photo they probably got off of like Getty Images or something. The COVID is Kate Gosling and she's covering Colin's mouth. So I mean this is going to be a bombshell book. It comes out this October and there's a new report that came out in the New York Post that claims Kate Goslin is spiraling ahead of estranged son Colin's bombshell memoir. She knows it's about to hit the fan and so Colin reposted the New York Post, shared this to his Instagram story, and he shared a comment from a woman named Sally. And Sally wrote, what's done in the darkness will always come to light. And so Colin made sure to repost it and to share that specific comment. And so it seems like Colin's like, get ready lady, I'm about to blast you and it's gonna be messy. It's your bestie miss. Ms. Wetson. These hosts try to test me. Test me. So yeah, seems like Colin's gonna come out swinging. He is. Ready? Ready Freddy. But the book comes out this October. You can pre order it now on Amazon. We'll see. And then he also included the song Day One by Han Zimmer. I don't know what's gonna happen, but it's gonna be messy. Kate, as we know, Kate institutionalized him. She said that he was a trouble kid. She said that he was hurting his other siblings. There's a report that came out that claims that he was locked in the basement for some time. Like she would put him away in the basement when he was being punished. So it's crazy. Tanya says she's spiraling now. She's been spiraling from the jump. She's just very. She's wound very tight. And so I'm sure she's always been spiraling to an extent. But like now she's really, I'm sure spiraling because she can't control. Kate is a control freak and she can't control this. He even blurred her face out in the COVID of the book. So he put like a. A sensor over her face. He didn't even want to show her, which is crazy. So I don't know. Christina says, not a basement again. I know. Why is everybody. Keep putting everybody in the basement. Leave the basement alone. Beyond that though, he did comment because I guess his sister Hannah. So Colin and Hannah were the two siblings that were estranged from Kate. And they're the two that had been living with Jon Goslin. So Hannah left, Colin left. They were living with John. The rest of the kids were living with Kate. Remember last week or the week before, we played that awkward clip of the twins, the two older girls outside of the sex tuplets, they. She had that awkward interview with them. It was like, oh, wasn't it with Savannah Guthrie? It was on the Today show. So Hannah, not one of the twins, Hannah was one of the other sex toplets. She I guess has started to talk to Kate again and started to try and make amends with Kate. And so Colin, he just did an interview and he. It was with the sun, the US son, not the UK son, but the US son. And so in that interview last year, he said, I think Hannah's is very sentimental and reminiscent in a way that I think she wants to still have peace, still have a piece of that family. And even I look back at it like this. During my parents divorce, Hannah was always so much closer to my dad. But now that I look at it, I don't think it's that she was closer with my dad. I think she just wanted both parents in her life and it makes a lot of sense. And that is lit and that literally is normal. And that's a normal thing kids want. So it doesn't seem like he holds any resentment against Hannah for wanting to make amends with Kate. Understandably, as these kids are getting older, I'm sure they're starting to notice the nuances of your relationships with your parents. I think that just kind of comes with age and, you know, just understanding that, like, your parents aren't perfect and you can accept them for their flaws and still have a relationship with them as long as you stay, navigate your expectations, and also can set clear boundaries. And it sounds like Hannah's been able to do that and is at least trying to work on a relationship with Kate. However, I think Colin just has a very different relationship with Kate. And I feel like Colin, I mean, even the fact that he is able to analyze that and be like, listen, that's who Hannah is. Hannah wants a relationship with both parents and I respect that. His relationship with Kate was just very different. And he's like, let's rock and roll. I'm blasting this bitch. We're gonna. We're gonna rock this until the wheels come off. So he seems pretty level headed. And yeah, I keep trying to make his activation nation happen. The name. Are you trying to get me Zactivated? I don't think I have. There's nothing that's activating me today. I'm trying to remain very Zen is what I'm trying today. I'm trying to remain Zen. I'm trying to, like, see, stay in alignment. I'm trying to. You know, I actually got really good news this morning. I had a court hearing this morning and it went very, very well. So the day did start off well and we are praying that it continues to stay well. Kate is going to need to nurse herself. No, I think she's brainwashed enough. She's got a lot of kids that she's gonna get at least one or two of them that are gonna always be there for her because she's gonna condition them too. Okay, let's move on. But the book again is called in the shadow of eight, and it comes out this October. October 13th. Ha. Okay, moving on. Oh, did you guys see this story over the weekend about the kid at Disneyland? It was a teenager and, and he was riding. It used to be Splash Mountain. And now I guess it's called Tian Tiana's Bayou Adventure. And so it's like, now I'm not on parole, but Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which is based off of. I think it's like the Princess and the Frog, right? Is that the Tiana story from Disney? And so they changed Splash Mountain to now be about Tiana and. And in it, at the very end, they have a big drop that splashes water and you get wet, Right? Well, when the ride was coming down, there was a teenager in the back of the log. Cause you ride a log in the cabin, and he was sitting in the back of the log, and he jumped out of the log. He tried to jump off of the ride as the ride was going down the. What is that? The drop? And so, from what we've heard. And so. But when he tried to jump off, there is video footage of him, and he's. He ends up falling down the water slide where the log is, which seems very dangerous considering, you know, that. That's crazy. I think I have the video here that we can play so you can see it for yourself. I'm gonna mute it and we'll watch it back one more time. But this is video that somebody filmed at Disneyland, and they happen to capture the moment that the log was coming down. See, you see him jump out or try to jump out. He misses the landing. It looks like his mom kind of like, slaps or, like, hits him, tries to catch him. Something happens. The mom does something, and, like, it looks. It's uncertain if she's trying to grab him or she's pushing him off or I don't know. But you see him. And so you see, he tried to jump out. He doesn't stick the landing, and he ends up falling all the way down the water slide. Which is crazy, because that's meant for the logs to come down, not for children to come down. And so it's crazy. We were like, oh, my gosh. So idiot kid was hoping that right before the drop was about to happen, he was going to be able to jump off. And so I've. Based off of reports, I believe they thought that he was gonna jump out. And in his mind, he was gonna jump into the next log. And he thought that he could be quick and fast and be able to pull that off, and clearly not, because he ended up falling all the way down the ride. Now, the ride was shut down for the remainder of the day. It did open up. The next day, it's back up and running. There were no serious injuries to the kid. I believe he had maybe some scratches and some bruises, but for the most part, he was totally fine. People were speculating. They're like, wait, did he do it on purpose? Was. Did he get scared? And because he got scared, he just jumped off. And I kind of thought that too, because, like, being that I have a brother with autism, and I've worked with a lot of families that have individuals on the spectrum, and there's no. For a lot of them, sense of danger is not. Is not real. So if they are, like, scared of something or something frightens them or a bit, they will just do things like they'll run in the middle of the street. That I remember even with my brother, he would just, like, dart out of the house and run out the front gate, climb the gate, jump over it, and would just, like, run in the street. And like, that was. You know, there is a real sense of danger when it comes to individuals that have autism. And I remember when he was little, like, they had to get a gate and they had to put a lock on the gate, and it was a whole. It was a whole thing. So I thought maybe that could have been the case. But no, apparently he was just an idiot kid that thought he was gonna be funny and jump into the next log. And I'm just like, well, this stupid kid gets what he gets. And so he was taken to the hospital to get looked at. He was totally fine. Again, just a couple of minor scratches and bruises, but for the most part, he survived. I mean, maybe the water helped, right, because it was water, so maybe prevented him from getting more seriously injured. But that's scary. Could you imagine if, like, that wasn't caught and, like, the next log came down immediately after, and, like, it could have ended very, very badly. Very, very badly. Luckily, it did not. He's fine. The parents seemed a little annoyed by it, and so I'm. People then are looking back at the moment that he jumped off, and you can see the mom's hand. Look, see her hand goes up right there. And so it's uncertain if she's trying to grab him. I would assume that's what's happening here, is that she's trying to, like, grab him. Like, ah, I don't know. That's kind of what it looks like, but who knows? But is there a track under the waterfall? Yes, I believe there is a track under. There has to be a track under the waterfall because that's what the log stays on. The log has to stay on a track. So I don't know. It's crazy. No words for this kind of behavior. He should be banned. I agree. Especially if he thought that it was funny. Idiot kid. Idiot kid doing idiot things, but he's fine. But it was a viral story that was going around over the weekend that I was like, crazy. Okay, let's talk about Tom Sandy Balls. So as we know, last week Tom Sandy Balls, he got into a fight with his girlfriend Victoria. She was, I believe, arrested. And there was a temporary restraining order that was put against a protective order that against Victoria and her father, who were both living with Tom Sandoval. I'm hearing that that the reason the dad was living with them is because the dad is sick. I believe he may have cancer. And so because he, I guess, needs to be cared for, he was living with Tom and Victoria. Protective order was granted. They also got a protective order against Tom. So the protective order goes both ways. We did see video footage. It looked like it was like maybe like a ring camera or some sort of surveillance camera that was at the the property. And you do see Tom fighting with Victoria. They're arguing. He does get upset when he notices that she's recording him with her cell phone. And the dad kind of gets upset and he like throws Tom. He like grabs him and like throws him over. And after that, Tom shoves him and the dad falls into the fireplace. We watched the video, I believe on Friday's episode of the show. And he pushes the dad over. The dad falls into the fire pit and you know that. And then the dad chases him in the house. It I don't believe Tom was detained, but it I believe Victoria and her father may have been detained. And then there were photos of bruises that we saw from Tom, scratches on his neck. There was the door that looks like it was severely damaged. I don't know how or what she did, but that was crazy. So now we have video footage that TMZ captured of police showing up at his residence and making sure that Victoria and her father left the property because obviously they can't stay together. So Victoria and her dad had to leave, probably because I believe the rental is under Tom's name. And so being that he is the tenant there, not her, I would imagine he. That's why he was able to have cops come. But here is a video clip from Tom Sandy Balls leaving or packing up his car as Victoria, I believe, is leaving. And Victoria tells Sandoval, I effing hate you. Just like all your ex girlfriends. Nobody likes you. Let's roll the tape. Can you tell us what you're doing in the house today, Victoria immediate move out order and restraining order. So are you here to make sure they leave? Yeah, the police are here to make sure that. Oh, so you brought the police with you?

They seem to be like, okay things, you know, even though there are some words exchanged, you guys seem to be like figuring your stuff out. So, you know, do whatever is procedural, procedurally necessary and, you know, if you need us, we can come back. And so doesn't look like that relationship is getting back together anytime soon. I mean, it seems like they've had a toxic relationship for a while. There have been rumors of stuff, substance abuse between the two of them. We remember at Bravocon when they got into a fight and there was Lindsay Hubbard who had to get involved and like, help mediate between the two of them. So it's not looking good for Tom. Sandy balls and his girlfriend. But we'll see. I'll keep you posted. The dad needs to go. What A bump needs to go. What a leech bumming off his daughter's boyfriend's house. I mean, yeah, and there are also, like, reports that Victoria was like, trying to get on Vanderpump rules and she had been applying as a waitress at sir and so maybe she was dating Tom Sandoval for the fame aspect. I don't know. Who knows? Nobody knows. But yeah, J E M says Tom went from everybody saying, at least Tom took accountability, unlike Wes to Tom is so messy in a heartbeat. That's the thing, is all these people, like, they just can't help themselves, right? Like Amanda Petula, she was getting the hero arc and people were on her side. And then her and Wes had to screw everything up. And then now here's Tom Sandoval and he's like, oh, Wes came and took the attention. Everyone can forget about me. And then here he is getting messy all over it. It's like, these people just can't help themselves. They just can't help themselves. Isis says, if he has sandy balls, does he have a sandy bush? I don't think he has a bush. I think he shaves it. He's like a bald eagle down. From what I've heard. I don't know. I've never seen it with my own eyes. Wink, wink, okay, let's talk Lizzo. Lizzo, Lizzo, Lizzo. Oh, oh, oh, oh. So Lizzo, it's about damn time. Has flopped and she has flopped hard. So her new album is called Bitch, and it sold, get this, it only sold 2,649 copies in its first week. Okay, first week. And it sold 2,000 copies globally, nationwide. That's crazy. Crazy, crazy, crazy. Nobody is interested in Lizzo. She didn't even. Her album didn't make the Billboard top 200 charts. Top 200. That's relatively. Especially being Lizzo. Like, that's relatively easy. But she's blaming streaming and she's saying that she used to be a radio darling, and radio just, you know, isn't around anymore, so they can't push her music the way that they used to. And so that's why she says that she's flopped. But the thing with radio is that radio was never, like, driven by demand of the people. It was always driven by direction of the labels. Right. The labels. You would have to play certain songs, and then the labels would bring certain artists on those radio stations to promote their albums. Like it was a whole game. It was a whole system. And now that system doesn't work anymore. And that's how you were able to create these artists was because you would just force the radio stations to play the song over and over and over and over, over. Not. The song didn't even have to be good. You just kept pushing it so that they could continue to get it stuck in your head. And then eventually it became like cars. Cars for kids. Right. 1-800-cars for kids. And that. Like Beyonce's Cowboy Carter. What was that? What was her. Was it. Cowboy Carter was. That was the name of the album. But what was the song on that one where I was like, her songs haven't really been that good. And so you would have some of these artists that maybe weren't that good, but their music was just constantly played. And maybe it was a little catchy. And if it was catchy, if you heard it three times, if you were listening to Ryan Seacrest, KISS FM every morning, and they were continuing to play that song every morning, you heard it at least once or twice a day. Yeah. Eventually it would get stuck, and sometimes you would actually, you know, enjoy it. Texas Hold'. Em. That's. That's right. Texas hold'. Em. Thank you. She didn't really promote her album. But here's the thing, Ariana, this is where I disagree with her about how well, like, oh, streaming has ruined things. Actually. No, because with social media and the power of social media is it's actually so much easier to become successful in music now than it was then. Unless you're not talented and used to being used to hacking the charts because you would have your label force radio stations to play your song. And so this is where I think Lizzo is just not with the times. And also I think people are just not that into her. Like people are like, they don't care. And she was like so disappointed because she said that this was some of her best work and she was so proud of it and, and okay, cool. But like it, you're doing something wrong. So she did an interview with Swiftologist and this is where she says, like, it was really hard. Her record label was really disappointed with the reception. But I mean, to your point, she didn't seem to be doing a lot of press for it. But you also don't even need to be doing old school press the way that you used to because now you can literally just make a video go trendy on TikTok, right? You can partner with TikTok and TikTok can actually pay creators to feature that song. Like there are ways to do it. You just have to hack the new game. But that's why you're seeing people who are becoming like big stars off of TikTok or Instagram or you know, wherever they're putting their music, their, their songs are going viral. Like there is a way to play the game and hack the system to where you can actually make good streams. And you know, you direct people to Spotify, you direct them to Apple, you can direct them to itunes if you want them to like actually purchase the music. Like there are options out there. So I just don't think her team was smart. I don't think she was smart and I think she, you know, understandably flopped.

Sales. Let's say new album. I want to see what Meghan Trainor did because she just released a new album, right? Oh, wow. Oh, okay, wait, there's more album. She had a new album, didn't she? Let's see. Meghan Trainor, new album. Her. Okay, Toy With Me is the latest. Yep, that was her, and it just came out in April. I know she's been promoting it. She's been trying to go on tour. Let's see. Okay, listen. That did really bad, too. I was like, oh, wow. So, okay, yikes. Again, it's very different in today's. In today's, like, music Game. So Meghan Trainor, very successful for a long time. Or, well, more successful, like back in the 2010s. Her first album came out and sold over 200,000 in its debut, and it peaked at the. At number one on the Billboard top 200 charts. Okay. Her second album in 2016 sold over a hundred thousand, so actually did less than half of what the first album did. And then her albums continued to, like, flop more and more, but they were at least charting well on Billboard. Her third album ranked 25 on the Billboard charts, and that one sold 22,000. Her fourth album in 2022 peaked at number 16 on the Billboard top 200. That one sold only 21,000. And then in 2024, she peaked at number 27, and that brought in 15,000 units that were sold in its first week. But then her latest album, which is from this year, April 2026, that one barely even hit the top 200. It peaked at number one 98, and it sold only 6 to 7,000 units in its first week, which is crazy. Yikes. Whereas Lizzo only sold 2,000. So Lizzo did worse than Meghan Trainor. That's interesting, because I thought. I mean, Lizzo has some good songs that even her last album I thought did really well. But I mean, 2600 in its first week is like an epic flop. I'm actually surprised. Well, I'm not surprised that Meghan Trainor flopped because I don't think she's in, like, her. Her. Her moment era anymore, and the music just wasn't that good. She was trying, though. Like, she was doing all the music video, all the. The TikTok music videos. She was really trying to push it. But Lizzo, I mean, I think Meghan Trainor's kind of just fallen off with her weight. But with Lizzo, she's outside of her blaming radio and streaming, she did also put a tweet out where she said, lizzo said, I actually, because someone posted this cyhrme on X posted Lizzo not having a fan base is so weird to me. When this woman was literally selling out arenas not even two years ago, like, where did all those people go? And so Lizzo responded to this and she said, I actually can answer this. The industry changed so much in the last three years. Streaming replaced radio. True, but I mean, streaming's been happening for the last six years. And if you thought that radio was gonna continue to carry you and that streaming was not going to be the future, you're an idiot. Sorry. And you deserve to flop. If you did not foresee where the industry was going, then you've lost touch with the industry and you don't deserve to be as famous as you used to be because you are no longer in touch with what the industry is. And if you are still, you know, still trying to sell ice when they're ice makers, then sorry, but you're gonna get left behind. She says, that's how my fans discovered my music was through radio. No, your fans were forced to listen to your music because they only had radio, whereas now they have so many more options and streaming has just completely changed the game. And if you didn't invest in that, then you, my love, are the problem. Right? You can get your music to people in far better ways and can reach so many more people outside of radio, which nobody's even really listening to anymore. You have to do a cute, trendy TikTok dance. You have to make sure that you're constantly playing your music, getting people to use your song in their stories, like on Instagram, like, there are ways to do it, she said, not to mention the very obvious and public attack on my career change things. But I'm out here doing my absolute best and you can't knock a bitch for that. That's true. I respect the hustle. I just don't think you're hustling very smart. But you do you. All she needs is a TikTok trend. Yeah, it's really not that hard. Like, it's actually so much easier now, which is why you're seeing so many of these newer independent indie artists that are really breaking out because they're utilizing the power of social media. And so if you're still like Blake Lively relying on those old school PR tactics, you're not going to be very successful. Sorry. Not sorry. Eat my ass. So. And yes, there was the public scandal, but I don't think the scandal is what ruined Lizzo. I think the scandal is what made the industry walk away from Lizzo. But I don't think the scandal is what turned people off to Lizzo, like, her fan base. And so the scandal was. Well, I don't know. Let's have that conversation. So the scandal was that there were dancers that I that filed like a sexual harassment suit against Lizzo because they claimed that, I don't know, she was shaking her booty on somebody, something. There was some sort. They made these allegations and Lizzo, Lizzo's like, that's not true. But like, they really, you know, put this story together about how Lizzo had harassed them. And I think it was because she was like shaking her butt on them or something. But also, you have to understand, your fan base was built off of that woke, you know, body positivity movement, right? Where it's like, well, we like Lizzo because she's a woman. She's a woman of color. She's a bigger bodied woman. You know, she's body positive. And so when you're pushing somebody forth based off of those attributes and not based off of their talent and not based off of the quality of their music, then, yeah, the second that there are allegations that get lodged against you, your fan base is built and already conditioned to think in that way. So that probably did affect her, right? When those allegations came out, they were very. I believe her audience was like, you know, body positive, you know, all of those things. And then when it came to allegations of sh. People are like, oh, no, she's canceled. Because you have an audience that's so focused on cancellation and then amplifying people based off of, you know, their minority buckets. And so when you build your fan base off of that, like, I'm not out here being like, you need to support me because I'm Hispanic and because I'm gay. No, I want you to be here because you like me, because you enjoy my show, because you appreciate my commentary. I want you to like my show for the merit of the show and for the quality of the content that I'm producing. Not because you feel bad for me, because you want to support the gays during Pride Month. I mean, I have enough dudes that can suck my dick to do that. I want you to be here because you actually like me. You know, blaming radio, like, for real. Try again, sis. Right, Holly, like, blaming radio is wild. Like, truly wild. You gotta launch your own campaign on how you can get your Lizzo love back on top. Yeah. And, like, also relate to people. And it's just so crazy because Anthony Weiner, whether you like him or not, has been somebody that's been very, like, Pro Trans, Pro LGBTQIA 2 +. Like, he's been a huge champion for that movement. And they completely turned on him because I guess they believe that he. I don't know, something to do with Gaza or he's like. I don't know. They're like, they believe he's a Zionist. I don't know. It has something to do with Gaza. And they're just like, you're funneling a genocide. And it's like, wow. Oh, Scott Wiener. Was it Scott Wiener? And did I say. Oh, was it. Oh, sorry, not Anthony Weiner? Did I say Anthony Weiner? Scott Wiener. That's what I was talking about. And he's. He's a Senate member. Right. In California. And so, yeah, huge, you know, Democrat, very pro trans, very, you know, big in that movement, has done so much legislation for that community. Right. He's helped them. But it's. Sorry, Scott Wiener, not Anthony. Did I say Anthony? If I said Anthony, I did not mean Anthony Weiner. I meant Scott Wiener. But so, yeah, he went to this parade and then the mob shoved him out. And it's like, when you build your fan base, your community around that, you know, hungry audience, they're always ready for a takedown. And they will take you down, too, if you become the target. They always want a new target to take down because you feed them in that way. But they will turn on you. They will absolutely turn on you the second that they get a chance. Because they're not down for you, they're down for the fight. You got your Wieners crossed. I know. Too many wieners on my brain this week. Oh, man. So, yeah, the mob said, you're not woke enough, Right. Because it's just. It's like when you become so progressive, you just get more, and you have to think of, like, how can we get even more and more and more progressive? And so, unfortunately, Scott Wiener got his wiener handed to him. Honestly, Anthony Weiner would do the same thing, but he would be paying for it. Yeah, it's. How can we victimize ourselves? Yeah. More and more. It's really crazy, though. It really, really is crazy. All the wieners. Too many wieners. Too many wieners to think about who's the one but Anthony Wieners, the one that.
