There's new evidence against singer songwriter David as his preliminary hearing kicks off today. Last week was like so hot and, like, not cute. And I feel like we're finally, we're finally setting down a little bit. The dogs are getting to go back out. They've been driving me crazy because they've been, like, wanting to go out and go out and go out, and I'm like, it's too hot to go out and go out and go out. I'm gonna be honest with you guys. The. The news cycle has been a little. A lot. It's not been all that exciting lately. But we're gonna try to keep it as, as f u n as we can, starting with Mr. Deadpool himself. I know you are so, so excited to see that Ryan Reynolds is returning because he has confirmed that there will be another Deadpool movie. Uncertain of what that'll look, what that'll look like, whether it'll be another, like, actual Deadpool movie or it'll be like the last one, which was Deadpool and Wolverine. I don't know. We're gonna have to wait and see what comes through. But I. I don't know. Do we think that it's gonna do? Well, if you look at the comments here, let me actually pull up the comments. That way we can fully discuss this more in depth because the Hollywood Reporter was the first to report on it. But the comments are not looking too promising. And I'm just like, at what point does Disney bail on the investment? Like, at what point does Disney say, you know what? Maybe this isn't worth it? So here's the Hollywood Reporter. It says it looks like Ryan Reynolds will be. Will be putting on the Deadpool suit once again. The actor confirmed during a recent appearance at the Fanatics Fest 2026 that another Deadpool movie is coming, which would follow the box office success of 2024's Deadpool and Wolverine. Well, that's before Ryan Reynolds reputation kind of took a hit with the Drums with Blake Lively. Says Reynolds said, there. There's a few really deep cuts that I think are missing behind the movies. And so he just goes on to talk about how, you know, he's excited for this and how Deadpool is not going anywhere. Donna Bowling says nobody wants this. I said add that to the Blake Lively legal fund. Oh, are other people hard pass? Stay mad, Zach. The only funding that needs help is Beldoni, made clear by his request to the judge. Okay. Ding dong, Rita's 1980. What does she even look like? Of course she has a private account. Rita S. 1980. Okay, Rita Baldoni doesn't need help because again, get the. Get out your thinking cap. Put on your thinking. And he has insurance that'll likely cover this up to, I believe, $2 million. So it's likely Baldoni is not paying a dime out of pocket. And number one. And number two, we've had Steve Sarawitz, who we believe has been funding his legal bill because Steve Sarawitz is a billionaire. So he has more money than Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. So it was a battle of the egos and a battle of the paychecks. I believe Steve Sarawitz came out and he did his first exclusive interview. But so, number one, it's not going to hurt Beldoni. It's going to be likely Wayfairs insurance money that's going to pay out whatever needs to come to. The reason Beldoni filed that the judge limit Blake Lively's attorneys fees and costs is because $8 million is one, astronomical and two, outrageous and three, not reasonable. Okay? Because the judge only allowed. He limited her scope. He only allowed a teeny tiny little bit of her attorney's fees to be. And her costs to be covered in this litigation. Okay? And that was specifically with her fighting his defamation claim. Okay? So really, it was just a motion to dismiss that she. Her attorneys had to fil. Um. And so she was trying to ask for more. You give her an inch, she asked for a mile. Right? So it's likely going to be significantly reduced. We've already had the Wayfarers response. We've already had Blake Lively issue her asking without any invoices that she even provided. So it's not that Baldoni needs help. It's that Blake Lively is a greedy bitch, okay? And she's likely not gonna get what she's asking for. But of course, you're too stupid to understand that. So why am I even wasting my time and my breath trying to explain it to you, Rita? Because clearly you have some bon bons to get to. Okay? Ryan says more like Dead to me. I'll never watch another movie with him again. So that's, that's why, I guess. Moving on to David. The hearing is happening right now. I'm wondering if there's anything new that has come out. It looks like nothing has been reported just yet. I know there are people that are in the courthouse right now. Oh, Brian Enten may not have his phone on him at the moment because there is no. No phones allowed in the actual courthouse just yet. So, you know, we'll see what happens. I know I do have someone that is in the courthouse that I was hoping to get updates from, but it appears they have not yet let out. Court just began less than an hour ago, so I would imagine there's not going to be a break for a minute. So we likely won't have any updates until we get that break. But I will keep you posted. Thank you for the super chat. Okay, Cosmic says, doesn't he live in Florida? That's not too far away. Yeah, it's only on the other side of the country. Okay, so the latest in the David case. So for those of you that need a little catch up, David spelled d the number 4 and then VD D4 VD. But it's pronounced David Is real name is David Burke. And so he has been arrested, he has his. And he's facing charges of. Are we 15 minutes in yet, the offing? Oh, yeah, we're 50 minutes in. Okay. He's being charged with murdering his or I mean, presumably girlfriend, lover. He's 21. She was 14. Okay. That's where it's a little dicey because, I mean, he may have known her as young as like 13. Very, very young. And so he's charged with murdering. Her name is Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her remains were found in the back or, sorry, in the front of his Tesla because I guess the trunks for Teslas are in the front, they're not in the back. And so she. Her remains, pieces of her were found in his Tesla, or at least the Tesla was registered to. Registered to him. They found this last summer. Okay. But they believe that she had been there for a while because she went missing. I believe it was the April prior. April 2024 is when she went missing. They have not seen her and then they didn't find her remains until last summer in 2025. So she went missing in 2024. They found her in 2025. To the. The Tesla that was registered to David, he's claiming that he's innocent. Prosecutors are now alleging that David sa'd revisited. I mean, granted, he is over the age of 18, so he is an adult. He's now 21. She would have now been, I think she was 14 at the time that she passed. But then when she was found, she would have been, I believe, 15, if I'm not mistaken. But when she went missing, she was 13 at the time. So regardless, still ridiculously young, way underage in comparison. Even though he's only 21. 18, 19, 20, 21. That's still four years of him being a legal adult where he was still having an inappropriate relationship with a girl, a young teenage girl. Completely inappropriate to have any sort of sexual relationship with her. But they believe that she was murdered by David for threatening to expose their relationship. I guess she knew or he. They both knew that what they were doing was not appropriate, not legal. There have been not allegations. There have been rumors that she may have been pregnant and that that may have also been part of why he wanted her. The theory is that she was pregnant. This hasn't been proven, but I just know that there was chatter about this that she may have been pregnant and he may have done this to prevent her from having a baby. Because then at that point she would have been outing that they had this inappropriate relationship. And if this happened when she was 13, so two years ago, he would have been 19 at the time. 19 and 13 wild. 14 and 20 wild. He's now 21. She would have now been 15 wild. But. So the theory is that just trigger warning. The details are a little graphic, but prosecutors believe that he stabbed her, dismembered her, and then concealed her remains, and he used a chainsaw and other tools to accomplish this. The prosecution claims that they have digital evidence, text messages, surveillance footage, forensic evidence, and DNA that will incriminate David. Prosecutors are also alleging that the murder was committed under special circumstances, including financial gain and to silence a potential witness. So this would make him eligible for the death penalty if he is convicted. He's pleaded not guilty. His defense, they claim that the evidence will prove that it wasn't him. There have been additional theories that it may have been somebody close to him, that it may have been possibly a friend, an employee. I believe some people thought that maybe it was even his brother. I don't know. I really don't know. But I guess that's what it's going to be proven in court. So this is the preliminary hearing. So very similar to Tyler Robinson a couple of weeks ago when we covered that preliminary hearing. It's just the beginning, right? It's just for them to present the case and to kind of be like, is there enough evidence for this to move forward to trial? From there, we will see what happens. And so presumably this will be moving forward to trial. The prosecution seems pretty damn clear they are now presenting all of this evidence in court. The judge will make the determination to see if the evidence is strong enough for a full murder trial. We'll see, we'll see, we'll see, we'll see. But in terms of. Of evidence that they have, so here is what the prosecution is claiming. That they have one. They have the Tesla that's containing Celeste's remains. Arguably. I mean, unless somebody else had access to this car, and maybe that's what the defense will be able to present in court, is that the defense has someone, again, maybe an employee, maybe a sibling, maybe a friend that David had given this Tesla to, and that's why David didn't have access to this Tesla. But somebody else that was close to him may have had access, and the car may have just been registered to him. But, I mean, this is kind of a big. A big piece is that the trunk was part of a Tesla that was registered to David Burke. So it was Likely, you know, just a place that he was holding the body, at least for now. There's also the potential theory, just to play devil's advocate for the defense, that somebody had access to the car and knew that it was registered to David and therefore, you know, did that to set him up. It's also possible that somebody helped him and was supposed to dispose of the body, and instead they did this to kind of, you know, prove that he was guilty. We're going to have to wait for the full case to be presented. Then you have the DNA and the forensic evidence. Prosecutors say that they have DNA evidence that connects David to the crime scene and to the handling of Celeste's remains. Their forensic evidence includes DNA testing involving both David Bark and Celeste, evidence recovered from the Tesla, evidence from the Hollywood Hills property that he lived on, and then forensic evidence relating to the alleged dismemberment. So presumably his DNA is all over everything. So I don't know how he gets out of that. Right. He owned the car. His DNA was found all over the car. It was found all over the tools that were used. Then there's the evidence that prosecutors say place Celeste at David Burke's home, believe that she went to David. David Burke's home, around April 23, 2025. They believe that that's where she was murdered. They allege that the dismemberment occurred and was connected to the property. And they're expected to use surveillance footage and digital records to establish the movements and the timing of David and presumably Celeste's remains. So we'll see. But it does appear, and I would assume they probably have, like, her cell phone data and GPS with her cell phone data, or if she had an Apple Watch or some sort of device that was tracking her location, I'm pretty sure that they can track her location to the house that day, which is the last day that she was believed to be alive. It's crazy. Beija says this is why social media is so toxic for children. Celeste was a child. She was a child. She's 13 years old. It's crazy. And to think that she's been missing this entire. I mean, I shouldn't say air quotes because she's been missing, but, like, she's been missing, but she was with David this entire time. And where were the parents? Like, I'm sure they're. They're beating themselves up enough already. But also, where were her parents? Like, that's the part that's so crazy to me. Okay, so beyond the digital evidence that presumably places Celeste at his Home found in his car. His DNA is all over not only the car, but also the tools that were used to dismember her. Then you get to the text messages and digital communication. This is where prosecutors say that they have the biggest category of evidence, because they say that they have recovered text messages and digital communications between David and Celeste that they believe establish the nature and timeline of their relationship. So I, at best, they still have him for this inappropriate relationship he was having with a minor, with a young teenage girl. The communications, they claim, include sexual discussions, discussions about pregnancy. So that kind of feeds into the theory that she was likely pregnant. It's uncertain if she was pregnant or possibly saying that she was pregnant, or there was likely some pressure of him wanting her to get rid of the baby. All of that we have yet to see. But these are just rublings that we have so far. So we have sexual discussions, discussions about pregnancy communic that date back to when she was very young. I'm assuming this was like, 12, 13 messages that prosecutors say demonstrate a secret relationship, probably to hide from her parents or to hide from people that would really, you know, report him or feel like this was completely inappropriate. Then there were communications surrounding the period before her death. So presumably communication via text message stopped at a certain point. Now, did he still reach out to her? Did he still text her saying, hey, where are you? I haven't heard from you. Hey, I'm getting worried about you. Where have you been for the last three weeks? Which I would assume if they have a timeline of when they believe that she died and he's no longer communicating with her, I think that that's also some pretty strong circumstantial evidence that proves that he knew she was already passed at that point. Yeah, but I guess keeping the relationship a secret is what prosecutors believe was the motive and possibly concealing this pregnancy believed to have been conceived through their relationship. And then there was, I guess, a threat to expose their relationship. So this is where they really hone in on that motive, is that Celeste threatened to expose the relationship. He had motive to silence her. She was killed shortly after. So they say that they have. They had a significant argument shortly before her death. They say that she threatened to reveal the relationship, which could have exposed him to both legal and professional consequences. He was about to go on tour. He obviously had a career that he was trying to protect has yet to be proven. But this is what the prosecution's theory is, is that she was threatening to expose this relationship, which would give him motive to silence her, which Would also not explain why somebody else would have done this or would have done this on his behalf. He would have been the one to do it because he wanted to keep this relationship a secret, understandably, given the consequences that were on the other line. Obviously, there are the tools. The chainsaw, they said, or the prosecution alleges that he purchased the chainsaw. He purchased other tools that were used in connection with the dismemberment of Celeste's body. I believe they also have the DNA evidence. They said that they traced the purchases of the tools allegedly connected to dismember her. Some of the purchases were made under an alias. So it seems that there was some premeditation, at least with the dismemberment and the planning and the preparation to dispose of the body. Uncertain why the body stood or the remains, I should say stood in the car and not buried somewhere or disposed of somewhere, because obviously it's a really risky move. And I believe the car had been sitting there for a while and her body had been decomposing in the trunk. But they claimed that she was stabbed and her body was dismembered. Parts of the body were removed and the remains were concealed and then transported. But it was ultimately left within the Tesla. Uncertain why. But based off of the severe decomposition, the exact cause, manner of death, and potential pregnancy, I think have yet to be determined. But that's just what they believe happened. They also claim that they found a ton of child material, inappropriate material. They claim it's a significant amount of child essay material on his cloud, which also super incriminating. So even if they can't prove that he did this to Celeste, maybe it could have been somebody else. I don't think it was anybody else. I think that it's pretty strong and overwhelming. I'm sure Candace Owens would love this case. And she'd be like, well, where was David? And what about this and what about that? You know, I mean, to me, this David case and the Tyler Robinson case both seem very, very clear. Very, very, very clear. You know, I think there's just. There's enough evidence, right? I think, you know, the prosecution's gonna tie that. The amount of essay. Child essay on his. On his cloud also could lead into their theory that there was an inappropriate relationship with Celeste, which again, would give motive for him to, you know, make sure she doesn't tell anybody. But to think he's going to get away with this is crazy. Like, how do you just make a young girl disappear and think that nobody's going to come looking for Her. But I guess there's also surveillance footage and digital location evidence that reconstruct the movements of both David and Celeste and the Tesla, because, hello, you have a GPS in your pocket. But not only that, but your car also has GPS tracking. So I'm pretty sure they can track David and. And track the car and track Celeste device. So we can kind of see what the movements of all the people were. Where was the car? When did the car get moved, Was the car trunk opened? At a certain point, I imagine the black box in the Tesla would be able to track when was the car, you know, opened, when was it turned on, when was the trunk opened. Like all of those things. I imagine a Tesla is very. I mean, well, as we saw with the Mackenzie Shurilla case, right? Like they saw, they were able to track what was going on inside that car when she accelerated, at the speed, when she hit the maximum speed, how long she held it. All of those things, I would imagine, are even more clear in a Tesla because a Tesla is like all digital. So they said they have. They know exactly when Celeste arrived and left the location. They have David's movements around the time that she was allegedly killed. They have the Tesla's movements. They have the timing of the vehicle's abandonment, because, remember, the Tesla had been abandoned for some time. And I believe somebody reported it and reported a foul smell surrounding the Tesla. And they also can determine whether he was present at certain key locations during key times. But they claim that they have a minute by minute timeline, and they don't even need witness testimony to verify that because everything is documented. They also have Celeste's passport card and her personal property. They recovered this, I believe, at David's property. So he or she had been staying there, and he at least had this information. And then, you know, there's all sorts of. They said they have roughly 40 terabytes of evidence that will incriminate David, which establishes his identity, his relationship with Celeste, the movements on key. At key locations, on key dates and at key times. They have an alleged motive. And, you know, they think it's pretty clear. But they have phones that verify everything, cloud accounts that verify everything, text messages, photos and videos, surveillance location data, social media, digital searches, and other electronic records. We'll see. We'll see what comes out of today's hearing. I would imagine all this really gets presented. And, yeah, I think that's. That's where it lies. Megan says and if you are not registered on the car, you can use a key card so that they can check on that too. To see if it was him or if it was someone else driving it. Yep. I mean, yeah. Tesla is probably one of the most trackable cars that you can have. So. Yeah. Susan says, yeah, the Tesla will be able to reveal so much about what happened. It films and records everything that happened around the car. Oh, yeah. Because it has cameras inside and outside. So, I mean, at this point, it's pretty clear. The fact that he's even proclaiming his innocence and saying that the evidence will prove something else is kind of wild to me. Not gonna lie. Cosmic Mochi says, But was the evidence. Will the evidence be there from that long ago? I don't know. They also have ring cameras. Yeah, ring cameras at his home. Well, also, he can delete some of that footage from the ring. They will dig up his and Celeste phone. Yeah, they have all of that. They have it all. Not to mention on camera. Yeah. So I imagine they have a ton. You will have to be possessed by something evil to do this to another human being. Well, if you look at his music, if you look at the themes of his music videos, like, it's very dark, it's very disturbed. So I would imagine he's not somebody in a very healthy mindset, which I don't know. Susan says the Tesla will tell everything. That has to be where they have gotten most of the evidence from. The goose is cooked. I mean, not just the Tesla, their phones. They have the text messages between Celeste and David. They have their GPS location. You know, the phones are tracking everywhere you're going. So they have a digital footprint of everything that was gone. Like, the Tesla is overwhelming in and of itself. But then that's when the prosecution would say, well, if she was in the home, then how. And he was also physically in the home, then how would he not know what happened to her? How could this have been done without him knowing what was going on? Who else was in the house? Who else was present? And do you have camera footage of who went in and out of that home? Where's the ring footage that shows the friend or the assistant coming in and out of that home between the hours that they believe she had been stabbed and when they believed she was dismembered? And like, how do you see anybody? You have to see somebody taking her out of the home and placing her into the Tesla. Who was that? They would obviously be going after the person they believed did that. And they said that they don't even need witness testimony, that the, the forensic evidence, the DNA evidence, the. And then there's also Odyssey that has come out, and people seem to really be liking Odyssey. Like, at first, I know people were, like, really critical because they were like, oh, Ellen, they have Elliot Page, that's in Odyssey. And like, at first people were thinking that she was going to be. She was going to be replacing Brad Pitt's character. And they're like, how do you go from Brad Pitt to Ellen Page? But that ended up being a rumor. I believe she's. Sorry, Elliot Page, she is not Achilles. She is. What. Who does she play? She plays Simon and Simon. Or. Sorry, he plays Simon. I'm sorry. I remember her from Juno. I'm not intentionally trying to butcher it. I just haven't kept up with Elliot Page interview in a while. But so Elliot Page plays Osinon, which is a Greek warrior. And so people believed that Elliot Page was originally going to be playing Achilles, but that is not true. Elliot did not play Achilles. Elliot played Simon. And there was also criticism about. Was it Lupita Nyong'? O? She's playing Helen of Troy, Which I know a lot of people were also kind of like, you know, feeling weird about, because they're just like, oh, this is a historical character. This is history. And they've changed, you know, the character. And, you know, Lupita doesn't represent what Helen of Troy looked like originally. And so there were some critiques going into it, but from what I've heard, the movie is really good. And that's hearing that from people that were even kind of critical about fearing that the Odyssey was going to be too woke. And apparently it's not woke, and it's actually really good. It's shot really well. It. The cinematography is done really well. The effects are done really well. The acting is really good. The only critique that I did hear that was maybe a more negative critique is that it's a lot of story and a lot of characters to squeeze into one movie that they. Some people felt like it could have Been two movies to really develop the story and the characters that are introduced because they kind of come in, you kind of see them a little bit, but then you don't really dive into them any deeper, which is understandable. I mean, this is an all star cast. You have Matt Damon, you have Anne Hathaway, you have Elliot Page, you have Lupita Nyong', O. You have Tom Holland. So there's a ton of different people that are in this film and a ton of key characters that are also in this film. I want to see it. I'm. I guess you have to watch it in. What is it? IMAX or whatever the fancy thing is you have to watch it in. So I want to see it. I heard it's really good, so I want to check it out. It is like a three hour movie. I think it's two. It's almost three hours. 2:45. Nearly three hours. So, yeah, that's a lot to squeeze into one, into one movie. So people were thinking it should have done, like, what Wicked did, where Wicked had two separate movies. Those Wicked Part one and then Wicked for good. Whereas technically one whole story. But they broke it up. But I didn't like the Wicked Part one and Part two. I liked Part one. I didn't care for Part two. I felt like Part two was a little unnecessary. So sometimes. Or like Harry Potter, Remember the Deathly Hallows? I felt like even the Deathly Hallows, like, did it need to be part one and Part two? I don't love when they do Part one and Part two because then they're just pieces that are there to fill the time and it's not really necessary. So. Yeah. Romy says I live under rock because I know I have no idea what you're talking about. You've never heard of the Odyssey? It's like the number one movie everybody's talking about. Yeah. Beijing says Wicked was drug out. Wait for too long. Yeah, I agree. What did they call it? Wicked for money? Wicked. Two parts was a mistake. It didn't need to be two parts. There were some parts that could have been condensed down to just fit everything into one long movie. And I think it would have done well. Part one was great. The music was great and everything because there wasn't even good music in. In the second part of Wicked. The first part was. What is the song? What's the song that the lady sings? Cynthia Erivo. And she's. Yeah. Lance loved. Yes, Donna told me that Lance loved it. Three hours is very long for a movie and without an intermission. Oh, it was shot entirely in IMAX. Yes. So. Yes, true. But I want Scream 8. Yeah, we're getting Scream 8, right? I believe, like, Scream 8. It's definitely happening. I'm ready for Scream A. Oh, Defying Gravity. Yeah, I'm defying Gravity. The Wicked story was fine, but I did not like the songs. The only one that was good was Defying Gravity or there's Popular. I Want to Be Popular. That was in it, right? I've never seen Wicked the play. I've never read Wicked the book. I'm not a theater kid. I don't care for plays and musical, especially a musical. I don't like musical as well, like, at all. But, you know, whatever. Whenever. I'm not into that, even, like, with Broadway plays. I remember there was a guy that I was going out with last year, and he was like, so into Broadway plays. And he was like, have you ever been to. Have you ever seen a Broadway play? And I was like, yes. I was like, I've seen three. He's like, three this year or three in your entire lifetime? I was like, three in my entire lifetime. And one of them was the same. I was like, I've seen Hamilton. A little tipsy for that one, but I've seen Hamilton. And then I've seen Chicago twice. Not intentionally, though. I went on, like, a team trip years ago to New York, and everyone got to, like, vote, like, what they wanted to do while on a trip. And one guy voted for, I guess. I think now he's like a they them. But at the time, he was a he him, and he him wanted to go see a Broadway show. And so we went to see Chicago, and then people were excited because Kandi Burruss was in Chicago at the time. I wasn't really that into Housewives, or specifically Atlanta Housewives at that time. I became much bigger into Housewives after. But, yeah, I remember Kandi Burruss was there and they wanted to see Candy. And then I went to see Chicago again last year because Erika Jayne was in it. And I went to go see Erika in New York and I went to support her. So that's those. And then I did recently see another one. I don't remember what it was, though. It was about this girl, and her dad died, and she comes to America for a better life, and she's an immigrant, and it's hard, but she works hard, and then she, like, you know, thrives. We'll see no pee breaks in Odyssey. I know. That's the shitty part. It's like There are no pee breaks. I saw Chicago and NYC with Ariana. She was phenomenal. I mean, it's Chicago. Is it really that hard to nail a performance in Chicago? But listen good to Ariana. Good on her. Right? Good on her. Even though she hates my guts, Good on her.
