Well, sheriff Nanos, our favorite nana, Nana Nanos is in some hot, hot water. He. His resume is now being drug back up and we have lots to discuss about it. We also have Mormon wives drama Demi vs. Marciano. The the lawsuit is still ongoing as the new season of Mormon wives is set to drop. So much to get into. I hope you're ready for it. Let's dive in. This is no filter with Zach Peter, your go to source for all the latest pop culture and reality TVT Surf fresh all week long. Now let's dive in. What's up? Everybody in the club. Happy Monday. Or, sorry. Happy Thursday. It is Thursday, March 12th. Whoo. What a time, what a time. What a mighty good time. A mighty, mighty good time. How's everybody doing today? How's life? How is the fam. Bam. How's work? Like what's. What's. What's the 41 1, everybody. I did just want to give a little brief update on the Janelle. Well, Janelle, on the teen mom story that I covered the other day with Janelle Evans. So her son, as we. Did I cover this already? No, her son. Janelle. Janelle Evans son. Jace. Remember he. I talked about this. What was it on Monday, Tuesday, about how he had been put under psych care. He was at a mental health facility and the cops were called to Barbara's house, Janelle's mom. And I guess that's where Jace was staying. So it seems that Things were not that well. And it was reported that he pulled. He pulled a weapon on his grandma. I'll let you, you know, pew, pew those pieces together. But he. That was the report while he was under the influence. And his aunt Janelle's sister then spoke out, and she said she posted this on. On her ex account. She put, my nephew did not pull a firearm out on his grandmother or himself. That is a lie. None of that is true. Whoever keeps fabricating these lies is a sick person. The police also never found a weapon in my mom's house. That is a straight up lie. It's most likely my sister selling because. Selling the story because she's angry. She's losing control. So then this prompted, well, Janelle for her to respond. And she's calling out her sister and she's slamming her sister for being toxic. And this is like some Jerry Springer type of family drama. Yeah. What a time, what a time what a mighty good time A mighty, mighty wild dime. So that's the latest with Janelle, because I know we reported on the fact that he was placed into a mental care facility. And now we have an update because now Janelle's breaking her silence after her sister called her out and is basically calling her thirsty, saying she's losing control of the narrative. What a time, you guys, the Janelle story. Like, it's hard to not want to, like, be on Janelle's side because, like, I think we all watched her and were waiting for her and rooting for her to grow up, but she just couldn't get it together. And it feels like she still can't get it together. And so despite all of that, it doesn't seem she was ever able to get her life back on track. So that's the. The. Well, Janelle, let's see. Should we get into. We have Nan Nanos that we'll get into in just a sec. Let's talk about. I mean, we do have some juicy lawsuits or maybe we just jump in. Do you guys want to just jump in Headfirst into nanos because he is under a fire. So his old resume is now circulating online. And so I guess Sheriff Nandos used to work for the El Paso Police Department. This was from 1976 to 1982. Now come 1982, he resigns over issues with insubordination, using excessive force, sending people to, like, the ICU for excessive force. And he was labeled as consistently inefficient, consistent inefficiency. So the rumor mill goes that he was set to be fired and instead they gave him the option to resign. So he was able to withdraw willingly rather than it being a full on firing. But just before his exit, Fox News reported that he faced a 15 day suspension. Again, this is back in 82, a 15 day suspension for allegedly sending a suspected robber to. To the ICU after kicking him in the head during his arrest. This was back in the 80s, so we would have thought maybe he would have learned something by now. But he doesn't seem to have learned very much because he's still in the same old drama that he was caught up in back in the 80s. But I mean, it's interesting that consistent inefficiency and insubordination are two things that he was saying specifically called out for. Like, those were issues that he was having back on the police force. Now he's a sheriff. So. Wow, how funny how you know you can't teach an old dog new tricks because he's apparently still up to the same old stuff that he was back in the day based off of what we've seen from this Nancy Guthrie investigation, which is just crazy, crazy, crazy. But so, like I mentioned, his resume was going around online this week as people were poking around and trying to like, dig up info on him. And I mean, listen, we can all agree he has completely butchered this Nancy Guthrie case, but was that intentional? Was that accidental? Was that incompetence? Who knows? The story is still unfolding, and every day they assure us it may be getting closer. Maybe we're gonna get there. Maybe we're gonna find something. Maybe there's gonna be a smoking gun somewhere. And we're officially 40 days into this missing person's case. It has officially been 40 days. And this was the latest that we got outside of Nanos resume, which we'll get into in just a sec. But this was the groundbreaking alert from this week, or at least just where we're at. We have footage from inside Nancy Guthrie's home. This is an old segment, I believe on the Today show back in 2016, if I'm not mistaken. And it shows her bedroom. And Nancy Guthrie is teaching us how to make a bed. So this is likely the bedroom that she was taken from. And then I think, oh, Kelly says, why am I getting ads during a live. Oh, I mean, there usually are ads during lives. Massive incompetence. Liked seeing himself talk on TV too much. Yeah. I also think there was an ego. Michelle says, sad to see her in her bedroom. I know. Especially with this pose right from this photo. She's like Come and get me when you're ready. Come and get it. Like, poor. Like, now I feel bad. I didn't mean to make a joke about that. But it's just the pose that they choose. They chose to lead with which her, like, literally, like. Like she's on the Titanic with her arms spread wide, like, just waiting to be kidnapped. How can someone be a cop for 50 years and be this dang incompetent? It's giving very intentional. That was my thing. King Ringer. King Rigor ken Gregor. Gregor Gregor. 77. That was my thing is it's like you've been on the forest for this long. I understand when you're a young dude and you're, you know, you have a big ego and you're puffing your chest out, but when you already are at the point where you have to quit your job because things are just not going well, and there are all these infractions that are being marked against you, at some point, you learn how to grow up and be an effective leader. To does not appear that that happened with Sheriff Nana. Nana Nanos. And so this is where we're at. And so he's given us nothing. He's the king of giving us absolutely nothing. I just. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. But this, you know, we had the box that was found near Nancy's home, and there was potentially a WI FI outage. And there was a report, I believe it was on radar online saying that Nancy was likely wrapped up and carried out of the house. Again, these are all just theories because we don't have any real idea of what happened to Nancy Guthrie. Oh, man. A teen at Lena Martinez says Mrs. Nancy's family is giving her house, is getting her. Is having her house fixed up as we speak, live on jlr. Oh, let's take a peek at what JLR is bringing us. Maybe we'll get live coverage from Nancy's home and we'll see what's going on with Nancy. Because that sounds like quite the quite the time. Right? I'm sure it's something groundbreaking that we haven't seen yet. But you know what? We have seen our goals slipping away from us. Right? You probably promised you're gonna eat better, work out more, stay healthy, be consistent. Oh yes, he is live right this second. See, look at. There's a. There's an ad on his live. Ads on lives. How are, how are there still 20,000 people that are watching this daily? That's crazy. Like truly, truly crazy. Listen, no shade, right? Okay, we don't. Do we know what's. What's happening? Is this JLR in a tank top? No, that's not jlr. That's some old man in a. In a tank top. Okay, well, I don't know if there's anything all that pressing going on over on JLR's channel, but go check out JLR investigates. But back to Sheriff Nana Nanos. Right? Because lots to dive into there. But so his resume has come under fire as people are now calling in his competency and whether or not he's fit to run this case or even just fit to be sheriff, which at this point I feel like we can collectively agree there are some questions that we have. But when this resume started circulating, people noticed some, some indiscrepancies. Like it said that he left the police force in 84, but he's there claiming he actually left in 82. And so that was a discrepancy that people were noticing. And so the Arizona Republic, they had reached out asking Nano's for a statement, asking if he would like to clarify the inconsistencies in his resume and talk about why he actually left the El Paso police force. And Nano replied, this is according to the Arizona Republic. When they reached out to him for comment, his reply was, that's your urgent request. You sure you don't wanna go back to my high school and ask why I got swats from the principal? Good luck with your hit piece. This is what he said on March 9. This is his alleged email to the Atlantic. Sorry, the Arizona Republic. This was on Monday. They asked him about this, like, hey, we would like a comment. And that was his response. That's your urgent. And then he put urgent in quotes. That's your urgent request. You sure you don't want to go back to my high school and ask why I got swats from the principal? Good luck with your hit piece. This, this, you know, really gives me a lot of faith in Sheriff Nana Nana Nanos. I'm sure Megan Kelly is like. Or not Megyn Kelly. I'm sure Savannah Guthrie is like, oh my God, yes, he is the perfect guy to help find my mom. He's not short tempered. He doesn't have any conflicts of interest. He's not somebody we should be worried about at all. I mean, you think we just fell out of a coconut tree? Sheriff Nana Nana Nanos. We did not. But. So after Nanos responded to the Arizona Republic, now the Pima County Sheriff's office is issuing a statement and they're saying this is a statement directly from the sheriff's department. The Pima County Sheriff's department recently identified two clerical errors. Isn't it so funny how in 2026 there are so many clerical errors all the time? Like there are just so many. That's how we lost a whole old lady is based off of all of these clerical errors. So it says. The Pim County Sheriff's department recently identified two clerical errors in a. Sheriff Chris Nanos is publicly posted resume. Both date discrepancies were administrative in nature and were not intended to mislead or misrepresent Sheriff Nanos his work history. For clarity, Sheriff Nanos also served. For clarity, Sheriff Nano served with the El Paso Police Department from 1976 to 1982. His service with with the El Paso PD concluded in 1982, not 1984, as previously stated. Additionally, Sheriff Nanos was promoted to the rank of captain in 2007, not 2009. Okay, so it seems like we're two years off. We have a timeline that's a little off. But the interesting thing is, I believe this is, like, his resume. Right? Like, this is the resume it looks like he'd put together on Microsoft Word and then printed and was sending off to people, if I'm not mistaken. Right. I don't think this is, like a. I mean, somebody else, I guess, could have put this up there, but I just. I don't know. He did get voted in, right? Yeah, but I heard that it was very. Like, the margin was very small, so I don't know. I don't know. Hi, Octavia. Hi. Oh, Laura's back. Laura's in the live chat. She said, I hate being sick. It makes me mad. We are still rooting for you, Laura. We prayed for you the other day. We're rooting for you. Nanos lied. Oh, my gosh. Right? Shocker. Nanos has been hit with a $1.3 million loss. Yeah. Nanos has a shady background. Right. Just lots of questions surrounding Nanos. And I think this is also part of the reason why he wants people to stop digging into Nancy Guthrie, because then they'll dig into him, and he'll really. His incompetence really be put on display. On display each and every day. Every day. On display. On display. So I don't know, but we'll see. Doesn't look like there's a whole lot of new information about poor Nancy Guthrie. She's still missing, but I'm glad we got to see her bedroom. I'm glad that, you know, I don't know. This whole thing is just crazy. We still cannot find the lady. It's bonkers to me. Bonkers. Bonkers. Wackadoodle. Crazy. Okay, Today is also the premiere of season four of the Secret Lab Lives of Mormon Wives. Say what? So Demi, who was one of the original cast members on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, she's the one with the older daddy husband. I mean, he does kind of give daddy vibes. Not like grandpa vibes yet. Don't they call him Grandpa Brett? I think that's what Jesse was calling him, was Grandpa Brett. But anyway, Demi was one of the breakout stars in season one. People really liked her after season one because she came after Whitney, who was the villain of season one. And. And she has had the biggest fall from grace on this show because not only are we now at the season four premieres and not only did her role on the show get demoted, she's no longer a main cast member, which means she's not full time. She's not featured in the opening credits, she's now been demoted to a friend of role. But she's also battling Marciano from Vanderpump Villa in court currently. So he's currently suing her for defamation because as you'll remember, she. She was accusing him of SA when they filmed the last season of Vanderpump Village. She's like, oh my God, he touched me inappropriately and I didn't consent to that. And he was like, what are you talking about? We were flirting. We made out. Like, I didn't touch you there. Like that didn't happen at all. But like, you did kiss me. We were making out and you told me that like, I don't remember if the story was that her husband was cool with it or I think Brett wanted to join. I don't. Or maybe that was Jesse Marciano was fooling around with so many people. Like, it's hard to keep all those stories straight. But regardless, Demi was denying that anything ever happened between her and Marciano. And Marciano was like, nope, that something definitely did happen. And then the story went well. If he's saying something happened, it was definitely not consensual from my end. I did not consent to him doing that. All of a sudden something did happen, but it was non consensual from her end. That said, she's currently. Or he's currently suing her for defamation. And so he's also trying to sue the production company, Jeff Jenkins Productions. However, both Jeff Jenkins Productions and to me, they're hoping that the judge will dismiss Marciano's case because he essentially signed all of his. His rights away when signing his contract to appear on the show. Right. And this is where it gets interesting because people see like wins and losses in court didn't really. Sheriff Nanos resume was still up. But the interesting thing is like, we, we see people's legal wins or cases get dismissed. And as we learned with Blake and Baldoni, it's not always based off of merit. But somet there are certain protections in place. Like Blake Lively, she'd found a way to get her speech protected, to get her story protected, her narrative protected by making sure it was filed in a CRD complaint before it was published in the New York Times. Like there were Very big loopholes that she jumped through first before making these allegations public. So, like I said, both Jeff Jenkins and Demi are hoping that the contract that Marciano signed will be enough. And in the contract, it does state that there is a chance that you'll get a bad edit. There's a chance that your reputation may be harmed. There's a chance that other cast members may have negative things to say about you online. And despite all of that, you're not allowed to sue them or the company because you're agreeing to participate in this project. And obviously, they don't want you suing cast members because then you could sue a cast member over any little thing. And it just, like, hinders the ability to talk about anything. And then production can't even film anything because then things get caught up in discovery, and it just. It creates a big, strong mess for everyone. So it's just. It's not. It's not something that production companies want to deal with, especially when they're filming a show, a hit show at that. So I did hear Ceci from the Bravo docket on she posted, I think, like an Instagram reel. And in it she talks about. She brings up an interesting point slash angle that I think Marciano could use to fight Demi. And that's claiming that Demi statements against him were beyond the scope of the contract in regard to Mormon Wives. Because Demi not only made the allegations on the show, she also made them on social media. She made them in the press. If my memory serves me correctly, she was posting things like in the comment section about Marciano. And now that may have come back to haunt her because it's possible that he can use her statements outside of the show to fight his case against her. But the contract itself is very broad. So I don't know. I do believe that any press statements Demi may have done during the promotion of the of Mormon Wives may fall under the same protection of the show. Right. Just because she didn't make them specifically on the show and she made them in the press promoting the show. Is that the same thing? Does she have those same protections? I guess that's what we're going to have to find out, being that the contract clause is so broad. So I don't know. And this could mean that she's protected. Right. We saw Blake Lively get her protections from her CRD complaint, her litigation privilege that she got from that, plus she filed in California, which had additional Me too protect protections. It all depends on how the wording of the contract is and, like, how that will Be determined. So I don't think that Marciano has a strong case against Jeff Jenkins because, you know, one Marciano did sign his contract. He seemed fully cool and complicit to film this storyline and to address it on the show. In my opinion, the contract alone is pretty solid. But then the network even came out to defend Marciana by saying that they reviewed all of the footage from Vanderpump Villa when Demi was present, and nothing that they saw substantiated any of Demi's claims. Now, that doesn't mean that her claims are necessarily false. It just means that there's no evidence that they actually happened. And so they also. The network also makes it very clear, and Jeff Jenkins and his production team also make it very clear that they showed other sides of that story with Demi and Marciano. They even show cast members questioning Demi's narrative. So it wasn't like they were intentional, intentionally trying to paint Marciano out to be a predator or paint Demi out to be a victim. They allowed Demi to play her role as a selective victim. Right. She was self elected in that victimhood. But beyond that, you had all the other women who were questioning things and who were asking about things and who were like, wait a minute, I don't know if I believe the story. Something about this story feels completely off. And so they're like, we left all of that in there. So we gave a full rounded picture of that, of that scenario as it was breaking down. And so I don't know. But I do think he could possibly go after Demi for her statements that she made in the press. Depending on how, you know, the courts will rule in terms of the, the broad language in his contract, her statements may be considered defamatory. If they're made in the press, that's considered slander. Or on social media, that would be considered what is. It's slander and it's defamation. There's slander and why can I not think of the other word? It starts with an L. Why can I not think of the word? It's slander and oh my God, forms of depth. It's slander and libel. It was libel. I don't know why. I, I think in my head I was thinking liable. But it's libel. Yes. Libel is written. Slander is spoken. So in that case, you know, we'll see. Brigitte says, zach, you look so handsome yesterday with your shirt and your non prescriptive vision glasses. That was actually Tuesday, but thank you. What was I wearing yesterday? What did I wear yesterday? Not today, Not Today, not today. So yesterday. So yesterday. Haven't you heard? Oh, yesterday had the long sleeve, green pullover, but yes, the glasses in the blue. Yes. Thank you guys for. For correcting me with libel. Marianne Stout says, like, housewives are not allowed to sue each other while under contract. That is correct. So. And that's pretty standard with not just housewives, but with reality TV in general. Megan says yes, the MeToo movement was never a woman versus men movement. It was. It's been really messed up with celebrities not completely understanding the cause itself. Predatory behavior can be both ways. Yes, that is true. To be honest, women are never believed. The never. Women never believed. The whole E files are evidence of that. I don't think anybody's not believing the women in the Epstein files. Right. Like, I think people are pretty. Like, they believe that this happened. It just comes down to whether or not people will be held accountable. And I've covered that in the past. Like, I think there's just too much money and power. And it's not the people that we're looking at. It's not the faces or the names that we know. It's the people that hide in the shadows that have a lot of that money, that don't need the fame, they don't need the recognition, and they see stay in power by staying in hiding. Right? And they control our politicians and they control our celebrities, and they control a lot of our culture. And those are the people that are the real threat. Those are the names that you see redacted in these documents. They're not protecting Trump. They're not protecting Clinton. They're not protecting, you know, Prince Andrew. No, the people that they're protecting in those files are people you and I have no idea of. Right? Like, those are people that are hidden and they want to stay hidden. They don't want to come out of the shadows because that's where they yield. Their power is in the shadows. So I don't think that anybody's denying that these things happened. If anything, there's certainly no. But I do. I'm trying to understand your point about how women are never believed. And the Epstein files are evidence of that. Megan says people believe it. Issues around purity, culture, cleanliness. It's also religious. Sure. But when it comes to Amber Heard, let's start with who we know. I'm telling you, who we know is probably so insignificant to the real story. Who we know, like, is like, I think people just. And that's the unfortunate part is I think people are so caught up in the scandal of it, rather than the reality of what happened to these poor girls. Like, you know, like, these girls were trafficked. So many people get caught up in the salacious detail. This is what pisses me off. And this is why, you know, I get fired up with the Epstein files, and I get really upset with people who are like, talk about the Epstein files. Because here's the reality. All you give a fuck about is Trump, and that's the truth. And listen, that's fine if, you know, whatever you want to believe. And Trump's connection to the Epstein files, that's all fine and dandy for that. But the part that frustrates me or Clinton, right? Cause that's another one that people are focused on with his deposition, are so big on just wanting to see them get burned in public when it's like. But your priority isn't the victims. And don't stand up here and tell me that you care about the victims, because all you care about is exploiting the scandal. And these poor women's lives have been turned upside down. And the way that we've treated them is disgraceful. You know, we've not given these women the respect that they deserve and dealt with the reality that they have lifelong trauma and that they're probably never going to heal from. And so continuing to drag them out and continuing to exploit these details publicly for the salacious details, because. What, you don't like the fucking President? My God, get a grip, you guys. Like, let's remember the reality of the situation. It's not about the celebrity or the president or whoever the fuck you want to crucify. It's about these poor women that were victimized and taken advantage of. But the reality is, most people say that they care about them, but they really don't. All they want is their political dogma validated. And that's the uncomfortable truth that people don't want to talk about, okay? That's the reality. People don't want to focus on the victims, okay? They want to focus on whoever they want to see taken down based off of their own political dogma. And to me, it's fucking bullshit. We don't have enough respect for these poor girls and these poor women who were traumatized and who were treated like proper. They were treated like fucking rag dolls, and we want to turn that into some sensationalized story. That's awful. It's awful. McAdoo says, you are wrong. I care about the victims. If you care about the fucking victims, then why do you keep rambling about these people? The Trumps and the Clintons of the world and Clinton's Democrat, Trump's Republican. They're on two different ends of the spectrum, but people want to focus on them because it's about the sensationalism, it's about the scandal. And again, I've been very clear that the reason I haven't gotten further into the nitty gritty of, you know, the details of those files is because it's so unsettling and it's gross and it feels like we're exploiting these poor victims rather than we're actually holding anybody accountable. And I believe people should be accountable. I've just lost faith in seeing that actually come to fruition. And again, it's not because they're the Trumps and the Clintons that have the power that are going to conceal everything, right? Because the same people that are bitching about the release of these files are the same people that are very silent about the last administration not releasing these files. If you have a standard for how you think that these Epstein files should be rolled out and the accountability that should be there, then you should be fucking pissed off at the Biden administration and don't have these bullshit double standards. If you want to stand up for the victims and you want to stand up for these poor innocent girls, then stand on it 10 toes down and stop with the fucking Clinton and Trump shit, all right? Because those aren't the real people that unfortunately are pulling the strings behind the scenes. They're just not. Those are the front facing people and they get to be the puppets that get, you know, pushed out here. But the reality is like, it's just, it's not even worth the rant because I don't even know who the fuck I'm talking to. Because the people that already have their minds made up, their minds are not going to change. And so we're just going to move on from this because everybody's at this place where they. I've come to learn this lesson time and time again that people are only ready to listen to certain messages or to respond in an objective way when they're ready to do so. Right? And sometimes people just want validation rather than they want the uncomfortable truths. And I've never been afraid to say those uncomfortable truths because the reality is the truth sits somewhere beyond party lines. The truth sits somewhere beyond Democrat or Republic. It doesn't matter whether you're blue or red. The truth is beyond that. The truth is so much bigger than that. But people like to keep their focus on such a micro level rather than the objective lens that we need to be looking at these things through. But I also understand people are not ready to hear certain things, they're not ready to believe certain things until they are ready. And some people like to live in a bubble of ignorance, not accusing anybody in the live chat of that specifically, I'm just saying that's a reminder for myself, is not to get frustrated and not to fight back, but to just be like, listen, you can lead a horse to water. You can say something and people will listen to you if they're ready to listen and they will fight you if they want to validate their own positions on things. That's where that stands. But when it comes to Demi and Marciano, we'll see what happens with that. I if anything, if he gets lucky and he has a good attorney, they'll fight to to pull her statements from the press and fight that they're not upheld by that contract. They'll fight to pull in her social media comments and maybe create a pattern of behavior because I don't think anything that she said specifically on the show would fall under defamation because he technically did waive his rights to sue for defamation. And this is a civil case, not a criminal case. If it were criminal and if there were criminal charges against him, that would be different. But being that this is a civil dispute and being that he technically did waive those rights by signing his contract to participate in the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, that's where it gets a little dicey. So it's really going to come down to the wording. And this is why I think these networks put this very vague wording, is because they hope that by making it super ominous and super vague and super broad that it'll give them a blanket coverage and it'll scare people into not doing these things. But remember, that's how Amber Heard lost against Johnny Depp. I believe it was her tweet that was the most incriminating thing for her. It was her tweet promoting the op ed that she wrote that ultimately was the nail in the coffin for her. Which brings us over back to Lee McSweeney's lawsuit against Bravo and why I think Bravo is shaking in their boots right now because yesterday we covered the Lee McSweeney lawsuit against Bravo, Shed Media, Andy Cohen, NBC she's suing all of them. And people are thinking that Leah's lawsuit is dumb. And because they're like, oh, she's a grown woman. She made grown woman choices. She made a decision to go on the show. She made a decision to come back on the show. She made the decision to repeatedly interact with Andy Cohen and go and watch. Watch what happens live. And she even agreed to then come back to the franchise by participating in the spinoff Ultimate Girls Trip. And, you know, never once in Ultimate Girls Trip did she break her sobriety. But during that show, we do see her interacting with the other women and encouraging them to drink. And I believe Gisele Bryant even said, like, I'm not your show. We're not your show monkeys, Leah. Like, if you think we're boring, we're not just going to drink and dance for you. But so the thing with lawsuits, especially a lawsuit like this, is that they're messy, right? And that's what a lot of these plaintiffs, and Liam McSweeney is the plaintiff here. That's what a lot of these plaintiffs rely on. And we're seeing that with Blake and Ryan, Right. With the Beldoni drama, their dirty laundry got aired out for the whole world to see. And that's why a lot of people settle these cases early on. Not necessarily because they're wrong, but because. Or they're in the wrong, but because they know that discovery is bad. Right. Things come up in the wash. You can look bad. Things can be taken out of context. Things that maybe necessarily aren't nefarious can then be positioned as nefarious, as we're seeing with the text messages in Blake and Baldoni's case with Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel. Like, we're seeing text messages be taken out of context, emojis being edited. And so when you're. Or depositions. Right. We're getting excerpts from depositions, not the full deposition transcript, because those experts are. What are excerpts. Sorry. Are what both sides are trying to use to tell their story, to tell their narrative, to, you know, craft their version of the truth. And so that's where things get messy is in discovery. And that's where I think Bravo is worried, because in discovery, you know, Liam McSweeney's team is going to want to grab everything. They're going to look for all the. The skeletons in the closet. They're going to try to pick up any little bit of, you know, anything that can make the network look bad. And I think that's what the network is more worried about. And that's why they were fighting so hard to go to arbitration. So it's not necessarily that they're afraid of Leah or her lawsuit or her claims specifically, because I do think some of them aren't very strong claims, especially when you factor in the fact that she continued to come back to the network when they were asking her to. Um, but I think the discovery part is what they're the most afraid of, and I think that's what gives Leah the upper hand right now. Not the upper hand in the game of truth, not upper hand in the court of public opinion, but the upper hand when it comes to the leverage. Right. It's not that her case is necessarily strong, but she's forcing them to air this out for the public to watch. And like the Blake and Baldoni lawsuit, it's about to be a very messy public spectacle. So. Oh, yeah, all the text messages and emails for everyone to see. Blake and Mel. Yep. That means we're very likely to see some Andy Cohen emails. We're very likely to see some Bravo NBC executive emails or text messages. I'm pretty sure Leah will want to drag as much of that as. As they can to really kind of strong arm the network. I don't know if it's that they want to. I don't know if it's that they want to necessarily settle with Leah, but. Or if Leah is necessarily looking for a settlement, but she holds the leverage when it comes to, you know, who has the most amount to lose when it comes to the court of public opinion. Right. Rashid says. Zach, what do you think of the View bringing back Elizabeth Hesselbeck? I don't believe they brought her back full time. Right. Like, they only brought her back temporarily for the week. Well, who's the girl? Sarah, while she's out. And then they brought back. I saw Cheryl Underwood, and Cheryl Underwood was getting into the drama with Sharon Osborne when that whole stuff came out. So what do I think about Elizabeth Hasbeck return to the View? I think it's actually a good thing. I know a lot of people don't like Elizabeth, and I remember watching Elizabeth back in the day and being like, oh, she's the bad one. She's this, she's that, whatever. But what I will say is Elizabeth, I think, really was a lightning rod on the show. I think she brought a new life to the View that we haven't really seen in a while. Like, the. The issue with the View is they all kind of have the same opinion, even if they disagree on the little things, that there's not a lot of, like, strong discourse. There's not a lot of straw. Like, I think Whoopi's a strong voice on the panel. I think Sunny is a strong voice in the panel. What I don't enjoy about Sunny is I think she goes for the low hanging fruit. I think she goes for. And I was watching it in some of the clips that I was seeing with Elizabeth and seeing how Sunny was responding to Elizabeth, I thought Elizabeth was very well spoken. I thought she had conviction behind what she was saying. She was very confident in her arguments, whether you agree with them or not. I had a lot of respect for Elizabeth because I was like, wow, she's holding her own at the table. And she, she represents a type of woman that I think the View has kind of isolated and the View hasn't really, you know, hooked in because I think it's important to have a show like the View when it's done correctly because then you see a variety of different opinions and you're able to share those different opinions and people can watch the show and they're exposed to multiple different opinions at once, which then help them see the nuances and things, helps them look at issues objectively and helps them understand the people that they don't understand, agree with. Right. When you see somebody on the right and you see somebody on the left and they're debating in a respectful way, for the most part, you can be like, oh, you know what? I believed this. But I didn't see it from that side. I didn't see it from that angle. And that's why I think you need that type of discourse and obviously respectful discourse on the View. Sometimes. We like the spicy moments for sure, because we like entertaining television. But I think Elizabeth represents a voice that is lacking on the View and I think she really knows how to hold it down. She stands 10 toes down with her chest puffed out. And I thought she was really good on the View in terms of her performance. I don't, I didn't listen to all of her arguments, but. Or I don't know where she stands on each of the issues. I only saw a few clips, but from the clips that I did see, her cadence, her confidence, her conviction, like her. I mean, she came across very eloquent, but also very knowledgeable about the issues that matter to her. She came with statistics and Sunny, and this is where I think Sunny really looked dumb, is she would just pander to again, the low hanging fruit. Right? Whereas, like, you know, obviously ice is a hot topic. I don't want to get into the details about or like where people stand on that. But as an example, I saw a clip where Elizabeth referenced a number of statistics. She's like, well, this is, you know, these are the boarding crosses. And she did it very factual and very, you know, strong with the statistics. And Sunny's rebuttal to that was, well, you know, Alex and Renee. And then the audience started cheering and she's like, those lives matter. And like she just knew how to appeal to the audience's emotion rather than present them with any sort of factual information. Because then Elizabeth's response is, well, what about, like, Lake and Riley, you know, what about, you know, all of the women that unfortunately lost their lives? And listen, it's a, it's a nuanced issue. It's not black and white. Immigration is not black and white. And it's been an issue with every administration in the past. But the, but that's where I think the View has a lot of potential in terms of exposing people to different viewpoints, because I think that that's really valuable. And I think when we are willing to listen to people of different viewpoints and of different perspectives and we're able to see them talk through these issues, you then see the, the nuances and you're like, oh, well, that is a really good point. And Sunny didn't make a good point and then Elizabeth made a good point and I didn't really see it from that side. And I think this is where I stand. And maybe I'm 80% here on this issue, but then there's 20% of me that feels differently. And maybe there's a candidate that can come in that can sway me one way or the other. And I think those are very valuable and important, you know, pieces of exposure to have. So I think Elizabeth was a great addition on the show and I think she definitely is able to hold her own. And so we'll see if they decide to bring her back full time, you know, so. Yeah, but I, I did think that she did well and I think that she would continue to help the View probably really escalate in ratings because people 1 do like the fights between these women on the View, but I just think it also would be. Probably engage an audience a fraction of the audience that they maybe have lost over the years. So repro. Amanda says, I don't think she would accept a full time gig. She doesn't want to or need that in her life. I agree, but I think she. I mean, yeah, I don't know. I, I don't know where she's at in her life or what's going on in her life. I haven't kept up with her since she originally left the View. But, you know, I, I Don't know. Okay. I think that's all I have for you. Right? Anything else? Anything fun? Crazy. I think those are all the biggest, juicy, juicy bits to come out of the news this week. Right? That's the Nancy stuff. That's the celebrity lawsuits. We love a good celebrity lawsuit. We love a good celebrity legal scandal. Mom arrested for not bringing her child to post op appointments after surgery. What? That's crazy. It's like a child endangerment story. Nothing new that I've seen. I saw that her ex, Sam Asgari, he said that she's. He compared her to the women of Iran. He said that she's oppressed or she's being oppressed with this dui. I think Sam just knows how to get people fired up for the sake of, you know, attention. I forgot, wasn't he on the Traders? Right, Sam, Wasn't he on the trade this most recent season of the Traders. What was he on? He was on something. Yeah, he was on the Traitors. When was he eliminated from the Traders? Because he wasn't even. Was he at the reunion? I completely forgot that Sam Asghari was even on the Traders. The Traders, US Season four. I completely forgot that he was even on this show. Let's see, what was the elimination? Yeah. He was last season. He made it Relative. He made it to episode nine. Okay, episode nine out of 11 is strong. Why do I not remember him on the show at all? He was on the Tom Sandoval season. I don't remember him at all. He made it halfway the first ago was. It was Dorinda. Yeah. Sam was a Handler. I completely forgot. He was not this season. He was last. He was season three.
