Welcome to Design youn Strongest year ever, a 26 day special edition of the nonprofit Mastermind podcast. I'm your host, Rukruchi Babbage. I created this series because I believe that how your year ends is determined by what you do now in August, not in November. My work is rooted in the idea that intentional design, not more hustle, is what determines how far your mission can scale. So every day I'll share one very simple but very powerful lesson, shift or tool you can use right now to prepare yourself for year end and for each one. If you sign up for the emails that go with these episodes, I've created a worksheet or prompt. You can collect them as you go and have a whole bundle. Finally, if the day's topic hits a nerve, I'll point you towards the most relevant of my implementation toolkits. For the length of this series, I'm offering 26% off all purchases. Let's dive in. Let me ask you something. Are smart people in your organization disagreeing about things? Does it feel like it happens way more than is comfortable about what to do next about the direction you're going? Here's what's really happening. You don't have a people problem. You don't really even have a friction problem. You have an alignment filter problem. Clarity of direction doesn't come from consensus. It comes from design. And the consensus comes from the clarity. Your North Star is not just a slogan. Your mission, your vision. These are not just words you hang on your wall. Your vision is a filter for every yes, no decision you and your team have to make collectively and while in motion. So why does this matter? Without a clear North Star, without a clear vision as a decision tool, every idea competes equally. That's how you get priority whiplash, scattered execution, and projects that die midstream. With a North Star vision, you trade debate for clear, efficient direction. So your micro action for today, you can do this in five minutes. I want you to draft a 90 day collective north Star vision statement. This is not your big organizational vision or even your long term strategic vision. It's a. This is what we're aiming at collectively for the next 90 days. Here's the statement and you're going to fill this in. By X date we will insert singular outcome so that insert strategic advantage Right by this date we will do this one thing so that we achieve this one thing. That's your statement. Then you take the last three stuck decisions that you and your team experience friction around and run them through that statement as a filter. If those actions where or decisions where you're feeling stuck. Don't advance the sentence. It's a no for now. It's one of the most powerful statements in an organization. No for now. So you can get some examples of how to complete this North Star statement, this 90 day North Star statement in the email that goes along with today's podcast. And if you want to install this organization wide, grab my Reset your North Star toolkit to help you create a real filter across your entire organization, your entire team. And as a reminder, you can use the code strong26 to get 26% off during the course of this series. It.
