My drunk mind thinks everything is content. My drunk mind is almost the opposite. Whereas, like, when I'm sober, I'm more like, I think through when I'm posting. When I'm drunk, I'm like, this will be the greatest idea in the world. And like, they were so messy. I'd be out at parties and just have a flashlight. See someone who had drama be like, let's make a tik tok. Put crazy text on it.

Oh, I don't even know where to begin. My friends giving last year, I was hammered. I had to delete them all in the morning. I was like, faced.

I flew home from Hawaii and I drank the whole flight I got home, I think I still thought I was in Hawaii. It's friends giving, everyone's cooking a turkey. I jump in the pool, it's freezing, it's November.

You know what level do that for you? Love can change you. Everyone's like, don't find a man to change you. But like sometimes the right man you'll want to change for, you know?

And just like when you're in, when you're with someone that you respect, you then hold yourself to a caliber that's different. Like I think that was it for me. Like a lot of times I was with people who was, who were on a more crazy level with like just, you know, being insane. But with Makoa, he's so sane that I was like, wait, let me get my act together.

Totally. I was always around people. I totally disrespected me. And then I disturbed myself. I was like, yeah, whatever. I'm just like. But then when I met like Moses and he actually was. And then I was like, you know what, Let me be better. So like people don't like attack him for being with me or like questioning.

Why he's with me, you know, like, yeah, 100. It's like, oh my God, like his family, I think about that. It's like I don't want them to see things and like, you know what I mean?

Hello, ladies. So I'll keep it short, I'll keep it cute. But basically my question is, is it wrong to try to bring on karmic retribution yourself? Let me follow this up. I'm a practicing Wiccan, all right? I've never done a hex, okay? I've never done, like, a nasty little spell at somebody. However, I've been caught up in a situation with somebody in which I feel very, very pulled to. I don't know, I guess push karma towards their way a little bit more in the form of a hex, okay? So that being said, what is your opinion on hexing people? What is your opinion on just taking karma into your own hands? Because I don't know if it's correct. Also, just to add a little bit of tea, the person I am thinking of hexing is not actually a partner of mine or a boyfriend or anything. It is my father. So. Yes, let me know. Is this a bad idea? More bad karma coming my way, where I've, like, sat in the back seat. Now when people have done me wrong and I just, like, don't say anything. And you do see their own karma come, like, over time. Yes. So, like. Like, the true color show whatever you want to say. Like, something comes out, and I'll get that all the time. Like, oh, Trisha. Like, I don't know. People like, Trisha must be happy. It's like I'm not either way about it but like it. What comes around, goes around always, you know.

I agree and I think even that you saying you don't feel either way. I think that's important too because the best thing you can do is unfortunately forgive. Not for them, but for you. But I'm saying for you because it's like if you want bad karma for someone, that means you are holding something that is also negatively affecting you and that can be so toxic and bad for you. It's so hard when it's your father, you know, like that does add a layer to it. I don't know enough. I get, I get a lot of girls on my shows weirdly who tell me that they put hexes on people. Like I get a lot of Wiccan.

I guess that's true. But I think like, true stand up is like, you can make anyone laugh and I, that's. I won't send myself out to do it until I think I'm actually good enough to make anyone laugh.

I see it, I guess maybe just going to like a random bite. Like it's like Matt rife, like, he's not going to go to like a club. Like, that's like. Well, I guess he is girls. And that is crazy when you think about his audience is like girls and gays and he like hates them.

Yeah. Which is so wild. I always say that. I'm like, what do you mean? Women like his comedy.

He thinks it's like the.

Yeah, like, they probably just think he's hot though.

But I think he thinks his audience is like men or something, like, for sure. And. But they're like, not.

Remember when he said God left the tag on about all about. He said Audi vaginas. It looks like God left the tag on. And then like Brooke and I ran with that because were like, no way this man with a female audience said that.

Like, but like we were saying earlier how like the girls will hear like the worst things about like the Zach Brian and being like, love him, like date him. Like, there's probably girls that like ate that up.

Yeah, for sure. They were like, God left the tag on. Crazy. Yeah. I have a voice in my head probably like a few. Honestly, that's.

Yeah. I think it's actually like way more common than you think. And I think if you don't have a voice in her head, it's kind of like hard to like understand it. But a lot of people do.

[Tana Mongeau]

Yeah, it is. I can't imagine imagine not having one, so I can't imagine what it's like not having one and then being like, you have one. Like, it's Right, right. It's mind blowing. It's kind of cool that you guys. Now I need to ask Makoa, like, does he have a voice?

I think Moses doesn't. He has a visual. He's visual.

What about you? You have a voice in your head.

It's very common. And like, is it like, do you hear it, like, or are you just more like. It's just. You're overthinking.

I. I am overthinking. Always overthinking.

So different voice. Sometimes I have like a British voice in my head.

No way. Do you think, wow, I have so many questions on that. Like, I wonder if it's like. Because obviously you can write that off to psychology, but you could also write that off to, like, spirituality. Like, what if it's like, a dead person and, like, you're a medium trying to communicate?

That would be. That would scare me.

Yeah, but maybe mediums are also crazy. Like, what do you mean? You're just hearing the dead talk all the time out, go insane.

Okay, so, like, that's what I'm saying, John Edward. Yeah, he'd be like, on Oprah and, like, maybe the Long island medium too. Like, they're going on these talk shows and they just like, okay, someone in the front just, like, lost their husband and they're like, okay, he's coming through. Like, how did you find him so quickly?

You know, so many people up there. Isn't it like an arena? Like, you know, like, how did you. That is nuts.

[Trisha Paytas]

That's what I'm saying. Like, I. I do maybe believe in.

[Tana Mongeau]

It, but especially for television, because there's got to be a day where just no one comes through and you have to be like, I found him.

[Trisha Paytas]

Yes, exactly. It probably is a little bit as far as the TV ones go.

[Tana Mongeau]

Maybe a little judged up. Yeah.

Yeah.

But I don't know. It's just crazy.

Believe in it. Yeah, I. I try not to believe in, like, ghoster mediums. I don't want, like, any of them coming through to me.

You know what I mean? But now I need to ask every person I know if they have visual or if they have voice. Because that is just so interesting to me.

I feel like it is probably half and half because, yeah, so many people I know that, like, don't have the.

[Tana Mongeau]

Voices, but I'm just imagining all the visual people have a more peaceful life, for sure.

That is the ultimate goal. I am whatever the exact opposite of that is. I just got a book, the Power of Now, and I want to read it about.

No, I haven't.

Changed my life. That was the first book I started with.

Yes. Well, technically it was. The Secret was the first book I started with and I liked it. That's more about, like, manifesting and stuff. But then the Power of Now is so good. Eckhart Tolle, like, amazing.

Yes. I went on the Soul Boom with Rain Wilson and he was. That was like. His favorite book was like, power.

What was your biggest takeaway?

[Trisha Paytas]

Being in the present and just being like.

Does it give you ways to practice it?

[Trisha Paytas]

Yes. Yeah, very much so. Just very much. Being present, being conscious, like all that stuff.

Yeah, I can't wait. Because I am so not present. It's so bad.

And mentally everywhere.

It's such a good book. I have to, like, reread it. It was. That was like, life changing for me and I started reading like, so many other ones. But it's amazing.

I just. Yeah, I get, like, sad at myself because I'm so not present. Even just with writing my book, I like, notice myself. I get to these places in my life and I hit this wall because I'm like. I really, like. I don't know if it's my memories or the things other people have told me that I'm remembering and, like, I just wasn't present, you know, it's so common.

[Trisha Paytas]

But that's like more trauma response. It's like when you kind of don't remember.

[Tana Mongeau]

It's my biggest thing. My trauma response entirely is just not remembering.

[Trisha Paytas]

Disassociation, Blacked out. Yeah. I don't Remember? Hi. So interesting. Do you have someone helping you with your book? Like, kinda helping you with your story? Because I have someone that, like, helps me so, like, kind of gives me like, okay, so what happened here? What did you like? Kind of those kind of things. So it helps me guide, but kind of the same thing. When he asked about childhood, it's like, I don't. I don't remember. Like, you know what I mean? And, like, I do remember here and there, but I think I feel like something crazier even happened, that I'm just like, okay, I know we talked about this. I talked about this. Like, 5,000 podcasts on here and on my own, and I'm so over it. But, like, you seen Blink twice?

[Tana Mongeau]

Yes.

[Trisha Paytas]

Okay.

[Tana Mongeau]

So no, I love it.

[Trisha Paytas]

He's like, how. He's like, you know the greatest gift. Gift is forgetting, right? It's like not remembering. And that's the reason. Spoiler if you haven't seen it. But, like, that's the reason he came up with this. Like, what is it, the perfume or something? So people forget the trauma and. Because his sister, like, his sister couldn't remember, but he could. Or something like that. His trauma. It's crazy because obviously they traumatize these women on the island, but then, like, they forget it, and then they're just, like, so happy and.

[Tana Mongeau]

And fine. And it is. I like, do feel that way. Like, I don't remember a lot of my childhood. So, like, I guess it's good, but it's in there somewhere and manifests in other ways. So it's like.

[Trisha Paytas]

You know what I'm saying? It resonated me. Like, it is such a gruesome. And, like, a lot of people didn't like it because they thought it was, like, too much or tasteless. And it is, like, very, like, trigger warning, all of it. Like, it's very triggering. But it just was, like, so real because it's like, yeah, you could have all this trauma and completely forget about it. And not only forget about it, be like, happy to be with your. Or whatever, you know?

[Tana Mongeau]

Yeah. Which is nuts.

[Trisha Paytas]

Yeah. And it's. I think it's, like, so real because that's like your trauma response in your head. It's got, like, so weird.

[Tana Mongeau]

But no, it's. No, it's so real. It's my biggest trauma response. I do not remember. Remember anything.

[Trisha Paytas]

Do not remember or like, you kind of, like, kind of do. And that's where. That's when it gets in trouble. Because then you're like, I kind of remember It, I don't know for sure.

[Tana Mongeau]

And it's like.

[Trisha Paytas]

And then people of course will be like, well, you don't remember this or you said this and then it changed this exact.

[Tana Mongeau]

It wasn't this exact timeline. It wasn't this, it wasn't that. I'm just doing my best, dude. Like I don't. Yeah, I don't remember so much of my life.

[Trisha Paytas]

Like when it's a book, it's like in print. So you just want to make sure it's like. Yeah, but it's.

[Tana Mongeau]

I was writing about that in my book because it's like I always just like. I don't know, like even just my friends will be like, do you remember this? And it was like the best thing ever. And then I say no and I like watch the light leave their eyes. And it makes me so sad that like I was there but I wasn't, you know, it's like one of my saddest things.

[Trisha Paytas]

So much. I know I've been like so present since like 2021 and I like love it and it's like great and I feel like it's wonderful.

[Tana Mongeau]

But I'm gonna, I'm working on that this year. That's a goal of mine to just. Even just with touring, I was like, holy. I did all of that but I was going so fast I wasn't present and like, like I had fun and you know, I think you gotta be in the moment.

[Trisha Paytas]

I was so in the moment with the Michelle. I was so in it. Cuz I've never had that much support. So I remember each face, I remember each smell. Like he just like really, really loved it. And so I was never like that with my other tours either.

[Tana Mongeau]

Yeah, I need to just really focus. I. In the moment, I think I'm being as present as possible. But then I look back and I just don't remember much and it makes me so sad.

[Trisha Paytas]

It's hard when you have a lot going on too.

[Tana Mongeau]

Yeah, it's like a lot. But yeah, I'm just always moving very fast.

[Trisha Paytas]

Slow it down.

[Tana Mongeau]

I gotta slow it down. I don't know how this year for you.

Yeah.
