Well, we're telling ICE you're going to enforce the immigration law without apology. You're going to public, you're going to concentrate on the worst first, public safety threats first. But no one's off the table. If they're in the country illegally, they got a problem.

Trump's supporters are traveling from all over the country to be in the nation's capital for the new president's inauguration. But with wind chill temperatures forecast to come in well below freezing at the time of the swearing in, Trump announced it will be taking place indoors in the Capitol rotunda instead. The last time that happened was 1985 when it was 7 degrees Fahrenheit outside. At the time, President Ronald Reagan put his hand on the Bible in a packed standing room only rotunda. Trump said in a social media post he wanted to spare people from dangerous conditions and encouraged supporters to watch the proceedings from a large arena downtown. Tamara Keith, NPR News.

You're listening to NPR News from Washington. The Department of Justice is accusing Walgreens of knowingly filling millions of prescriptions without checking to see if they were legitimate. Officials say it's been going on for more than a decade and includes dangerous amounts of opioids. The suit says Walgreens, one of the country's biggest pharmacy chains, also pressured pharmacists to fill prescriptions with, quote, clear red flags that they were likely to be unlawful. The Department of Justice alleges that some of Walgreens patients died of overdose deaths shortly after getting invalid prescriptions filled at that pharmacy chain. Walgreens says it stands behind its pharmacy with new movies and TV shows featuring Captain America, Daredevil, the Fantastic Four and Superman. 2025 may be the year of the superhero. And Piera's Eric Deggans reports it's also Hollywood trying to create big traditional events.
