President Trump said he would be shutting down what he's calling the Trump Kennedy center for two years to bring it to, quote, the highest level of success, beauty and grandeur in a new tree Truth Social post. President Trump says he plans to shut down the Kennedy center for two years starting on July 4th to begin construction of a new entertainment complex. And bring Trump says this is in honor of the 250th anniversary of the country, adding that financing for the project is already in place, but did not offer further details. He added the plan was totally subject to board approval. 5 year old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father Adrian Conejo Arias, are out of ICE detention in Texas and back home in Minneapolis. Texas Public Radio's David Martin Davies reports.

Preschooler Liam Conejo Ramos arrived back in the Minneapolis area Sunday morning. He was released from an immigration detention center south of San Antonio under a federal court order. Representative Joaquin Castro says he accompanied them from the South Texas family residential area. Liam is now back home with his hat and backpack, Castro, a Democrat, wrote on social media. A picture of the boy in a floppy bunny ear hat before he was taken by ICE came to represent the immigration crackdown in Minnesota. His return follows a sharply worded ruling by San Antonio based federal judge who ordered the government to release the father and son by Tuesday. Much of the Southeast is digging out from under snow and dealing with record cold after a second winter storm struck this weekend. The Arctic blast is stretching from Virginia to the Carolinas, even Georgia, down to Florida. South Carolina Public Radio's Victoria Hansen reports from Charleston.

Snow moved in across the state Saturday, dumping as much as 6 to 8 inches inland and farther north and just a couple of inches here in Charleston. Justin Hutchinson ventured out to see it Sunday only to be struck by gusty winds and bitter temperatures.

The frigid temperatures are expected to stick around with local officials warning the area could see black ice Monday morning. Israeli authorities say preparations are underway to reopen Gaza's main border crossing. Reopening the gateway is a major step in advancing the ceasefire agreement. In Mississippi, Governor Tate Reeves said at least 23 people have now died in storm related deaths from Holy Springs to cities in neighboring Tennessee, thousands of customers are still without electricity due to a power grid that has been broken from last month's winter storm. One of the biggest categories for the Grammy Awards is for best new artist. And this year, TikTok had a big effect on who made the cut. NPR's Isabella Gomez Sarmiento reports.

This year's best new artist nominees run the gamut from an indie pop band from Los Angeles to an English soul singer. The one thing they have in common, they all had a breakthrough moment this year thanks to TikToks nominees out of Ray and Alex Warren were TikTok creators who used their popularity on the app to launch music careers. Artists like Leon Thomas, Lola Young, the Marias and Olivia Dean were signed. Artists who gained major traction on TikTok.
