The U.S. and Iran have opened talks today in Oman. NPR's Jackie Northam reports. Some of the negotiations concern Iran's nuclear program.

There were plenty of changes to location and time and which countries would participate ahead of these negotiations in Oman's capital city, Muscat, on the table for discussion is Iran's nuclear program, its support for proxies such as Hezbollah and Hamas, and limiting its arsenal of ballistic missiles. These are the first official talks the US And Iran have held since the US Bombed three Iranian nuclear facilities last June. Iran is in a weaker position than a year ago when Israel devastated its air defenses last summer. The US has been building up its naval and air defense systems as a show of force in the region. President Trump has unveiled a new website. Dozens of drugs are covered, from weight loss to fertility treatments, but some drug policy experts say it's not clear how many people will benefit. For people using insurance, copays are probably cheaper than the cash prices. On the new website, the brother of today's show host Savannah Guthrie, has released a second video online. The family is pleading for information about their missing mother, Nancy Cameron. Guthrie says they've heard nothing about her since she disappeared last last weekend. From Arizona Public Media, LM Boyd reports Arizona authorities have now released a suspected timeline of Nancy Guthrie's apparent abduction.

Officials say Guthrie came home just before 10pm Saturday. Her doorbell camera was disconnected around 2am after that, Guthrie's pacemaker disconnected from the phone. Officials say blood found outside the home belonged to Guthrie. And FBI Special Agent Heath Yonke confirmed that ransom notes sent to news outlets are being taken seriously.
