It includes his evidence, multiple claims that had already been investigated and were not substantiated. The filing also says this investigation was started by Kurt Olsen, who tried to overturn the 2020 election. The document was released as a result of a lawsuit filed by Fulton County Commission Chairman Rob Pitts, who says the search was politically motivated. Georgia's Republican secretary of state released a statement saying it's time to move on from past elections. A new development tonight in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84 year old mother of today's show host Savannah Guthrie. Authorities in Arizona say they have detained a person for questioning. Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her home near Tucson more than a week ago. Former Congressman Tom Malinowski conceded today to challenger Analia Mejia in the closely watched Democratic primary special election to fill the congressional seat vacated by New Jersey Governor Mikey Sherrill. The race was too close to call last Thursday night and Election day ended with two of the 11 candidates in the Democratic primary in NJ's 11th district locked in a tight race at the top. Days later, Mejia leads Malinowski by just about 600 votes, with several thousand votes still outstanding. On Tuesday morning, however, Malinowski congratulated Mejia on a hard won victory. The Associated Press has not yet officially declared a winner of the race. For NPR News, I'm Mike Hayes in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

Authorities in Canada say they are not in a place to understand why or what may have led to Tuesday's mass shooting at a school in British Columbia. The shooting happened in the small town of Tumbler Ridge. Multiple people were killed. Ken Floyd is with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

As part of the initial response, officers entered the school to locate the source of the threat. During their search, police located multiple victims. The individual believed to be the shooter was also found deceased from what appears to be a self inflicted injury.

Police say at least seven people were found dead at the school, including the suspect. Two others found dead at a home are believed to be connected to the incident. More than 25 people were injured. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney talked by phone with President Trump Tuesday after Trump threatened not to allow a new bridge connecting the US And Canada to open. Trump claims not enough American labor or materials were used in the construction. But as Dan Carpentuk reports, even some US Political leaders say Trump has it wrong.

Kearney reminded the president that Canada alone paid for the construction of the Gordie Howe Bridge $4 billion. And those costs will be recouped from tolls once the bridge is open. Once it is paid for, the revenue will be split evenly. Former Michigan Governor Rick Snyder also notes that Canada financed the entire bridge and Michigan and the US Will get their half ownership with no investment. He says a delay in opening the bridge would be felt much more on the US Side. And Carney says workers and steel from both countries were involved in the construction. Moderna announced the move today, saying it has received a refusal to file letter. The company says it has requested an urgent meeting with FDA. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Has criticized MRNA technology. Overseas stock markets mostly positive in Wednesday trading. Japan's benchmark Nikkei, up more than 2.2% after the major stock markets in the US drifted to a mixed finish after flirting with record highs. The S and P fell 3/10 of a percent.
