Authorities in British Columbia say a man rammed his car through a crash. Crowded street festival celebrating Filipino heritage. At least 11 people were killed in the attack, and officials say they believe dozens of others were injured. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says he's devastated and heartbroken.

Brockturn Gamble, maker of Tide, Pampers and Charmin, says it may have to raise prices. Chipotle says customers tell the company they are visiting less because they're saving money out of caution. Firefighters and rescue teams are working to contain a fire from a massive explosion at a port in southern Iran. At least 40 people have been killed. Hundreds of others were injured in the blast. NPR's Carrie Khan reports. The blast came a day after the US And Iran wrapped up a third round of talks over Tehran's advancing nuclear program.

Iranian officials are calling the blast an accident, but have not specified what caused the explosion. Early Saturday, the explosion occurred just as Iranian and US Mediators were in talks in Oman. A senior US Official characterized the talks as positive and productive and stated there is still much to do and that both sides agreed to meet again soon. The visits come a day after the pope was laid to rest. People in Vietnam are Preparing for the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, with lots of activities being held this week across the country. Security is heightened in central Ho Chi Minh City ahead of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Fifty years ago, North Vietnamese troops stormed the headquarters of the South Vietnam's government and ending the roughly 20 year war that cost millions of Vietnamese lives. In the run up to the main event on April 30, there have been a series of gatherings and rehearsals, the last one being held on Sunday.
