Details@capitalone.com Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Dan ronan. At least 10 people have been injured and are hospitalized after a mass shooting near Arcadia Lake, Oklahoma, Sunday night. Police say the violence erupted at a party involving a large group of people. Emily Ward is a spokesman spokesperson for the Edmond, Oklahoma, Police Department. She briefed reporters on what took place and what the department is doing now.

So our investigators are at the scene. It's very dark right now. So obviously as the sun comes up, they'll be we'll continue to investigate. They're just right now it's just, you know, we're taking witness statements. We're kind of all over the metro speaking with victims and witnesses. So that's what we'll be doing in these next multiple hours.

Gasoline prices around the country have reached the highest level since July of 2022, going up more than 30 cents a gallon in just the past week. NPR's Chandelys Duster reports.

AAA says the national average is around $4.44 per gallon. That's nearly $1.50 higher than the national average before the war in Iran started. Kevin Book, co founder of Clearview Energy Partners, told NPR long the Strait of Hormuz stays closed. Gas prices could rise higher.

An Iranian proposal reportedly includes an end to the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, despite a ceasefire agreement there. Israeli airstrikes have killed dozens of people in Lebanon in just the past two days. Duri Bukares is monitoring the story from Turkey.

On Saturday, Israeli strikes killed at least seven people in the border village of Yaron. Local officials said the Israeli military also used bulldozers to demolish part of a Catholic convent. More than a million people have been displaced in Lebanon over the past two months, according to the UN with the Israeli military forcing evacuations and occupying several towns in the country's south. Today, an Israeli military spokesperson issued a warning on social media to the residents of several towns, saying that, quote, anyone located near Hezbollah operatives, facilities or weapons may be putting their life at risk.
