President Trump was greeted by Chinese President Xi Jinping in front of the Great hall of the People here in Beijing. There was a military display, a marching band playing the US national anthem, among other songs, and a large group of children waving Chinese and flags and artificial flowers jumping up and down chanting a welcome. President Trump was clearly charmed by the children.
