I'm at the funeral in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre for three paramedics killed Friday in an Israeli double tap strike captured on video by a neighbor shot showing the paramedics gathered at the scene moments before the second strike hit as an ambulance arrived. They had rushed to help after a drone strike in the town of Der Qanon and Nahr killed a Syrian man and his young daughter and wounded his wife. Now they are being mourned by a crowd of fellow paramedics as ambulance convoys prepare to take them for burial in their hometown. Those prices went into effect January, including a 79% discount for diabetes drug Januvia. The program is now negotiating its third round of lower drug prices set to take effect in 2028. The drug industry has opposed Medicare drug price negotiation, but this may be the end of the road for many of the court cases. The trade group for brand name drugs Pharma, has a remaining lawsuit pending in a lower court. The group says a law that enabled the price negotiations is unconstitutional. Sidney Lupkin, NPR News.
