live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Dan Ronan. The U S. Iran negotiations are ongoing in Switzerland, according to a senior US Diplomat. Earlier Sunday, Iranian state media reported the talks had broken down. NPR's Luke Garrett reported.

The talks in Switzerland, led by Vice President J.D. vance, were expected to last through Sunday. A senior U.S. diplomat not authorized to share details publicly told NPR the negotiators talked about clarifying Iran's messaging around the Strait of Horroz, which Iran said was closed on Saturday. Another key point of discussion was enforcing the ceasefire in southern Lebanon, the diplomat said. Deconfliction mechanisms for the strait and Lebanon were also discussed on Sunday Morning. Trump said U.S. forces would, quote, hit Iran very hard again if its proxies keep up the fighting in Lebanon. Iranian state media reported that its delegation called Trump's post insulting. The U S. Eligible voters in Arizona when it cast ballots in the state's July 21st prim until Monday to register Monday is also Colorado's deadline for signing up online or getting a mail in application postmarked, though there is more time to register in person through Colorado's primary day on June 30, same day in person registration is also available in Maryland and Utah. Those states are holding their primary days on Tuesday. If you have already registered to vote, you may want to go to your election officials website and check your registration status before your state's deadline. It's npr. President Trump says the reflecting pool on the National Mall will probably have to be drained for repairs. This after green algae and peeling paint followed his administration's major multimillion dollar effort to restore the Washington, D.C. landmark. Trump also claimed without evidence that vandalism may have been a factor in the algae growth. The Ford F150 is the best selling vehicle in the United States, but as it turns out, it's not one of the Most Driven Vehicles. NPR's Camilla Dominoski takes a look at a new report.

IC Cars looked at the odometer readings from more than 2 million 3 year old vehicles that were sold last year. The auto search engine wanted to find out which cars had the most miles put on them. They found self charging hybrid vehicles like the original Prius were driven more than traditional gas vehicles. Electric vehicles and plug in hybrids had fewer miles per unit year. With one big exception, Tesla's logged more miles than gas cars. Meanwhile, comparing specific vehicles, the Chrysler Pacifica minivan was driven the most, about 10 times as much per year as the typical Ford Mustang, the least driven vehicle.
