Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Dan Ronan. The US Military early Sunday, Iranian time struck three nuclear facilities in Iran directly joining Israel's war with Iran. The White House said the American bombers dropped bunker buster bombs hitting the Iranian Fordo site and two others. In a White House address, the president says it is now up to Iran to choose peace or more war. Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight's was the most difficult of them all, by far and perhaps the most lethal. But if peace does not come quickly, we will go after the those other targets with precision, speed and skill. A short time ago, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised President Trump and the US Military for the attack, saying it was necessary because he said Iran threatened Israel's existence. The president first announced the attacks in his social media Post just before 8pm Saturday evening, East coast time. While acknowledging the U.S. strikes, Iran's Atomic Energy Agency said the attacks were a violation of international law and they will not stop Iran from producing nuclear material. Bernie Sanders is taking his fight oligarchy political tour to heavily conservative states. Ben Abrams from Public Radio Tulsa reports. The senator from Vermont rallied more than 5,000 people in Northeast Oklahoma.
Bernie Sanders (1:50)
Sanders made a stop in Tulsa with familiar messages lamenting billionaires and corporations, uplifting unions and working class folk and and railing against the Trump administration's policies. He also took shots at the Democratic Party for ignoring states like Oklahoma, which voted overwhelmingly for Trump in 2024.
Dan Ronan (2:10)
For the love of me, I cannot understand how the Democratic Party has turned its back on states like Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas.
Bernie Sanders (2:20)
Sanders was also informed of US Armed forces striking several sites in Iran and in an escalation of the conflict originally between that country and Israel. The news prompted chants of no more wars from the audience.

Robo Taxi will be able to drive itself from the factory to a customer's house. But a group of Texas Democratic lawmakers want a delay until September when new regulations for autonomous vehicles go into effect. Dan o' Dowd is the founder of public safety group the Dawn Project. He tested a Tesla model with self driving technology and found did not stop at a school bus stop sign or break before hitting several child sized dummies. It does not know what a dooni intersign is. Just like it doesn't know what a school bus is. It doesn't know what a one way sign is. It doesn't know what road closed sign is. Tesla did not respond to questions about whether its robo taxis will be compliant with the new rules. I'm Katie McAfee in Austin.
